I forgot what day it was edition.

Last time a young man named Petyr ran afoul of some unknown regs having got kicked out of the clubs. Tried to make friends with some supers but failed. Tried to come up with a way to impress a Super Genius but has yet to come up with a solution. Found himself questioning the meaning of life(again) before building a superb piece of technology that he is having great difficulty with upgrading for other purposes.

Now he is in his lab and considering how does one improve such a piece of technology? He is lacking the answer which isn't surprising really. He is after all lacking a lot of things despite having so called 'potential'.

So what is it he shall do and what is with this peculiar announcement?

Greetings today students and faculty we have a special announcement today! As unexpectedly a supreme genius of the galaxy will be stopping by our own prestigious university! The legendary human Doctor of Clan Volker THEE one known as Richard. A bad ass MAD super genius who is able to channel correctly without harm or side effect! Not a single project or experiment of this good doctor has failed.

He has come here today to for an exchange of info from our data banks and possibly even give a lecture in the meantime. All students are welcome to Richard's lecture which will be at the the auditorium after today's classes."

"If your lucky you may even be able to ask a question or his possible interest. It is worth noting that to this day the good doctor has never ONCE failed in his work. He is a true genius among all super geniuses."

Attend the class of course! Learn everything!

>Not a single project or experiment of this good doctor has failed.
OOC but is this REALLY the truth Genie? I mean, Jesus from the first game holy shit we've had some spectacularly awesome failures.
>>
Rolled 11 (1d100)

>>42673010
Yes, but didn't those 'failures' always pan out in the end? That his is quirk he literally CAN'T fail despite being MAD. He has a MAD mutation which prevents it. Its the biggest reason why is so (in)famous. The guy cannot seem to fail at SCIENCE! Problem is there are limitations...it was that secret quirk of his that resulted in that stuff anon.

>>

Especially considering our existing scientific difficulties.

IF it was SCIENCE he would of been fine...it wasn't though. Literally only ONE fucking way that could of managed to happen but alas it did occur...and once it did that poor bastard's fate was sealed. Karma is a bitch.

>>42673181
Its not something you can learn anon. A HUGE part of science is learning and adjusting from the mistakes made during the process.

He is notorious suffer of MAD. Kicker is though supposedly he suffers a MAD mutation or is somehow able to control it.

On a somewhat unrelated holy fuck is 4chan screwed now considering who took over...problem is there is jackshit for good replacements for anon /tg/ boards besides 4chan. Especially given how much /tg/ on 2x4 chan sucks ass which I was considering and tg chan isn't much good either...not sure what I am gonna do.

>>
Rolled 92 (1d100)

you decide to attend the lecture. There you notice a group of odd indivduals who were scattered around and escorted the doctor to the stage. There he didn't even say anything for a good half hour just looking around at all the people and aliens there before finally speaking.

"Science...what is science if not of many things? So how does one fail or succeed at science? Let me tell you this right now. There is NO such thing as failure and success in regards to SCIENCE. There is only disappointment and happiness. Negative and positive. Anyone who tells you otherwise is lying."

"I have come here today to acquire data from the Combine in exchange for some of my own research meanwhile I figured I would do a lecture....anyone know why I don't bother being a teacher?"

"Its because those who teach in such number are a disconnected failure. They are stuck in their own little bubble and ignorant of how it really works outside that bubble. They are here because they CANNOT make it out there! I am not one of them."

"Oh no I am one of the most infamous intellects in the galaxy because I know the truths and I cannot be stopped. Progress...cannot be stopped and it isn't always a good thing. Sometimes its a bad thing."

"So why should you care about me?"

"Because I am simply put amazing."

"Now why should i care about you worm?"

"Sure you may think you are worthy and have your reasons but why should I care about YOUR reasons? IS it not my own which is most important?"

"Some say I am insane and MAD. In response I reply that I no we are not mad but merely enlightened. Now how someone may handle that can vary. Sure some other so called super geniuses are enlightened...but can they really be considered enlightened? Are they not TOO limited to the ways of the norms? Its just they happen to be a bit more advanced in their thinking."

For us so called MAD we are so far out there that not even those 'advanced' individuals who are the super geniuses can compare to our brilliant craze.
>>
Rolled 46 (1d100)

>>42673853
"amazing brilliant craze are we. So here I am to lecture...sure i can go about science, about myself, or about you. Sadly I will not instead I am here to talk about whatever I want and I wont be talking about that."

So the lecturer proceeds to go on a tirade about the glorious of waffles over pancakes and whether or not breakfast should be sized which way.

After that he talked about politics of all things and how super genius shouldn't ignore them lest they crawl their way up your ass and into your brain strangling it as well as your potential resources.

He lasts warns of insights, of how things get 'twisted' to serve for stuff like war, and how different perspectives as well as goals will always lead to unexpected things.

He ranted about craziness.

He ranted about genius.

He ranted about people.

He ranted about people.

He ranted about politics.

He never once ranted about science.

About himself.

Or about those there.

Finally nearing the end of the lecture when someone walked up to him and whispered something he nodded his head before speaking one last time.

"So that is all I have come to say. Now to a few select students I have sent an offer...of an internship. This offer is in regards to certain research which may be valuable. Its research on biotech...not any ordinary biotech. For you see this is research where me and a few of my esteemed colleagues including a personal mentor of mine will be participating. Naturally I sent a similar lesson to the Republic but given the morally bankrupt nature of the research I doubt we'll be getting some recruits from them officially anyway."

"To this who get the message this is a longterm work occuring over your break period where one of my PERSONAL ships will arrive to pick up those who wish to go. You can even go when your done with classes and come right back!"

"Yes my ships are that fast so don't worry about running late. Though I personally suggest only going during breaks because of how time flies
>>
Rolled 53 (1d100)

>>42674049
"Now with that out of the way I bet people want to know some secrets yes?"

"Fine I will tell some because I love how much people react and to see who gets pissed off."

"A certain black site in the Combine is specialized towards multi specie integrated hivemind how dirty!"

"A Republic black site is in fact research bioweapons to use against Combine species at these coordinates. In fact the Mega Plague was them after all just as certain conspiracy theorists claimed!"

"Finally everyone sucks and life is unfair."

"Goodbye suckers of life."

To improve ourselves not only into a Super that we can perform science and create technology like a true super, but create machines and fusions, and not just any machines and fusions but SUPER machines. SUPER devices that are capable of boosting us as a super, not drag us down like regular devices will.

Our goal to see Buddy become the best damn robot ever, to be worthy of being called a Super Robot and who can protect us and be piloted by our mind, to work in synergy with him!

So you waited...and waited before finally deciding to work on Buddy's speech programming. You only managed to make some basic progress with speech. Its to teach it to talk but hard to converse properly or so you have concluded with your work. Eventually however the person you are waiting for hours later DOES show up...

Mostly because you saw a figure dash into the office and a loud crash. When you went to see you heard one Dr. Ziji trying to tear the clothes of the other and the other Dr. Jizi complained saying they had company. The other Dr. Ziji looked over and noticed your presence before pouting while touching up their clothes and putting...'things' back into their lab coat pockets.

Those things you are only halfway positive that they aren't actually lab instruments. After that the Dr. Ziji turned towards you and asked what the hell you wanted.

I HAVE AN IDEA

FOR SCIENCE

Let's research Collapsible Technology. The ability for a device to shrink and grow on command.

Imagine being able to shrink or grow something at will? We could hold like, tons and tons of weapons and stuff in Buddy's robot body and it could help make him faster in flight by shrinking uneeded components.

Or better still, we could hold the MK I in our pocket, throw it out when we need it and have buddy attach to it!

If we can discover the means to compress and uncompress mass, we can put the technology into certain nanites or microchips spread into the metallic material and control them via waves.

>>
Rolled 11 (1d100)

>>42678610
Collapsible technology as it turns out exists to a degree...there is just 1 problem. It isn't able to decrease the weight. So it weights just much as it had previously but in a smaller area.

Its also expensive as hell otherwise cargo transports would use them a lot more.

Now as for making your own...you did. Oh the joys have having your own private fully stocked lab, lotsa money, and professional personnel! Ah the good life it is.

...Now if only the shrink system itself wasn't so damned big.

What do?

Rolled 14 (1d100)

>>42678786
Hmm, the ability to decrease volume but weight and (presumably) mass remains the same.

Curious and interesting technology!

I'm sure someone has already come up with the conclusion to make say, bullets. Force = Mass*Velocity. With this, we'll be able to fire a bullet with the weight power of a cannon ball, and since it's smaller than a cannon ball it's more likely to cause penetration into heavy armor. Even shields.

Let's see if we can start making our own version of a cannon or magnetic railgun system for the MK I that can fire these extreme density bullets (higher metallic density should mean easier to launch via magnetic propulsion). Also make tests on high explosives too, such as loading grenades with these heavy pieces of sharpnel.

Secondly, let's experiment what happens if we shrink the shrinking apparatuses.
>>
Rolled 85 (1d100)

>>42678886
I would suggest experimenting with Superheavy shield for the MK1, made interlocked shrunken plates, mixed in with extremely powerful anti-grav.

It's denser and stronger than an ordinary shield made of the same material, and as a bonus he can also time it by turning off the anti-grav at the same time smashing it over somethings head, or using it like a battering ram.

A power-hammer built aronud this concept would be good too. Light when throwing around, heavy when smashing down.
>>
Rolled 2 (1d100)

>>42678886
What do you think the more advanced gauss weaponry uses?

Problem is the larger/heavier the object the less time it will stay shrunk. Another problem is the varying level of shrinkage, duration, and making it permanent effect. Which can vastly increase the cost accordingly.
>>
>>42678886
A magnetic centrifugal launch system would be better than a Cannon. It could save space and wouldn't to deal with recoil and wear from the heavy bullet.

Get some powered magnets, put them in a rotating circle, and put the heavy shrunken cannonball in them. The circle will rotate with magnetic pulses causing the ball to gain momentum and speed, and when it's spinning very fast can be flung out by a powerful pulse at the right time.

If you make it strong enough, you can put in more bullets at once, until you have a stream of them being fired out.

Actually yes, though they would be closer to a tennis ball machine or the LHC. Have a circle, spin an object around it via magnets until fast enough and then launch with a final push.

With a more advanced system we can account for unpredictabilities in unshrinking by having them eject objects that get to big before they clog the system.

ehm ah yes my notes here state that they used coil based due to simplicity and their tech was based off more advanced gauss tech they had lot of examples of. However due to lack of equipment and resources they weren't able to build the better stuff so they made cheaper knock offs. They were very lucky in that they had intact power cells that were able to keep the man wieldable ones powered. Otherwise simply put there wouldn't have been a chance those things would of been able to be man portable.

Apparently your own shrinking system actually differed a bit by according to the sources you found online...then again your system wasn't exactly a complete copy...

Roll to see the difference.
100 roll twice
1 is worse in all stats
80-99 longer lasting shrink

>choose two stats one will be increased while the other is decreased
Hmm, tricky.

On the one, if we increase shrink time but increase cost (I presume power) we'll be able to load more and the firing system will be more powerful, that means for the purpose of bullets more power.

It also means melee weapons and other uses are more feasible.

The downside is the cost.

If we decrease the cost but decrease shrink time, we'll be able to shrink more and maybe even install the system into the MK I itself. Allowing it to shrink stuff at will, not just its ammo and weapons.

But only for a little bit.

Useful for cracking things open I imagine, say, shrink an AP shell and fire it into armor, and then watch it grow back and crack the armor and widen the breech.

It would render melee stuff and other flexibilities less feasible however.
>>
Rolled 17 (1d100)

>>42679397
I meant for you anons...should of clarified that moi bad.

Only reason melee is still feasible is because of fucking speedfreaks, close quarters combat, and magic/psi(strangely not as much as you would think as it also works the other way around) as well as advanced armor/shielding.

Yeah cost=power in this case.
>>
>>42679397
I vote shorter shrink times but a cheaper system. We'll just shrink the shells when they're needed and fire them as AP rounds, penetrate and then grow back.

Also means we can have fun if we make it powerful enough to shrink other things too, like say a piece of armor or a ceiling support or generally fucking shit up by inconsistent size.

>Now what do?
I support the shorter shrink time but cheaper cost. Set up a Gauss system where a container of AP Explosive shells are funneled into an onboard shrink-ray in the MK I. Then in the time we have, they are circled around the centrifugal magnetic launch for as long as possible and then propelled at great speed toward the target.

The high weight plus the density of the shell should allow excellent penetration, which from the short shrink time will grow back into regular size, and as an afterthought also explode whether shrunk or big.

Thanks to cost reduction, this should be feasibible to fit on the MK I without extremely weighting it down.

Time to come up with more power.

Hmm, considering that we can shrink items longer but at added cost, perhaps a more compaq battery system?

We can use laboratory shrinkers to shrink larger, batteries to store energy. Since energy can't be created or destroyed, the batteries will be equally as potent big or small, meaning we can hold more energy in a smaller space.

The increased weight of the batteries should be offset by their power, and the system can be used to eject empty batteries or batteries that are about to get big again. Maybe even use them as improvised ammo in the gauss rotator.

43+bonus is 53. You must choose to increase one stat and decline another.

You decide to revise the shrinking system you had built due to its lack luster performance compared to the others. Figuring if you manage to improve that one it would make your goals much easier to accomplish. So in that respect you and your team redesigned the shrinking system and succeeded in improving it...though appeared there had been some kind of hiccup in the process. Now though its mixed not just bad but not just good either.

With a reduced cost, let's see if we can't make a ranged version of a shrink ray weapon.

You had a stroke of genius...possibly super genius. Oh you the fuck you are kidding its a stroke of super genius because somehow before you knew it you had a raygun that you were zapping stuff in the armory and shrinking them.

You even figured out a way to target specifics or groups of objects! You are currently wondering what would happen if you like shrunk something tiny like a cell...kinda like a part of a tank you know? Or like somehow reversing the effect to make it HUGE!

Too bad your ammo ran out before you could get there...and when those guys check the armory they are gonna being wondering what the fuck happened.

So naturally you left the armory and whistled like you had nothing to do with it...

that was when it hit you.

You cannot remember very well the sensation for when you built the shrinking ray gun...fuck no wonder its rare for supers to be running around with copies of the same shit.

You decide to work on GROW RAYS....which is really fucking hard. Like goddamn not even the pro help were able to help much. Its like though...if you increase the size that would increase the mass no? So in order to succeed to do so you would have to use extra energy from the ray to somehow convert it into mass...but not just any mass. It has to be an effective copy.

Or you increase size but not weight or mass?

Or something.

Honestly its a massive pain.

...especially making the ray so small...maybe if you could like the shrinking process but in reverse?

Not really. Well, I mean, you don't HAVE to.

It's like the shrink ray, it decreases volume, but mass and weight remain the same.

One version of the grow ray can do the opposite, increase the volume, while mass and weight remain the same. Which means a pencil the size of a tree should still weigh a pencil (also be incredibly fragile and light, possibly like a giant paper mache thing.)

If we have the ability to alter mass and matter, that means we can work on a second type of shrink ray gun that actually decreases mass by disintegrating extra matter.

Let us investigate these four types. For SCIENCE!

Focus on getting out of being behind on classwork.

After that, go talk to some of the undead professors about the basics of undead. . .everything. The science, magic, or nature of it, whatever we can learn, and get recommended supplies for upgrading our laboratory.

If we can, go to the shop or have our research purchase online whatever ritual supplies we need, ectoplasm, candles, chalk, precious metals, etc.

Not bad.

A better long term solution is the true bio-virtual fusion, perhaps a virtual reality where we can think (and therefore read) even while we're sleeping so our body and mind rests, but our consciousenss learns.

Alternatively we learn more neurology and how to engineer memories, upload books digitally and then download them directly into our minds.
>>
Rolled 4 (1d100)

>>42708169
You suddenly remembered you had an internship that you have yet to show up for. So you hurriedly hustled over to where the pick up is and notified a stationary figure who once he saw your internship qualifications brought up a device that he than spoke into...shortly after a strange ship jumped out of FTL whose pattern and design you were completely unfamiliar with.

"So how long is the trip and how long before i return?"

"...Very quickly if you have need of attending alert one of our personnel they will alert you when its time to go back and you'll be returned in time."

"Even if its the next day?"

"Yes."

"...How fucking fast is the FTL you got?

"The FTL drivers equipped on this ship is personally made by the great Dr. Volk. Either it is personally designed, engineered, or modified by him. Its quality is not to be underestimated."

"...So madtech?"

"Yes."

"Fucking figures goddamn mad bullshit," you mutter as you board the ship before take off. Soon enough the ship departed once you boarded it and you were handed a hard file for you to peruse. You were not allowed to copy it or hold a digital form however and once you arrive it will be handed back.

The file is apparently on the word that will be done...which is biotech. In particular research on one of the many different bio-menaces throughout the galaxy. The research in particular is on guided mutation and the design of entirely new genes/forms of life from scratch...this is some extremely high level stuff.

In the document you were also alerted that the facility you would be going to is a black site at a hidden location in deep dead space...here you are expected to work as one of the super potentials brought along to be guided and hopefully unlocked. For some reason a number of the super geniuses there were VERY clear on that sorta thing. As is it was extremely unusual that even Dr. Richard Volk was able to get in despite his notoriety and skill.
>>
Rolled 20 (1d100)

>>42709890
The project is based off a migratory bio menace that apparently picks up many different lifeforms making it a treasure trove of extremely diverse mutation and life. Hence why it was selected for this particular black site. The research appears to be going VERY well...they have already made a number of interesting breakthroughs. Sadly though those are mostly experimental and one time. The next stage will soon occur where they will attempt repeats...which has proven to be failure ridden. The very diversity and unpredictable/unstable nature is making it a living hell to successfully repeat trials with the same results as the former.

Its bad enough to be giving even the super geniuses a headache...so they are working on a new project of research involving some kind of 'guide' for it. Hoping that if they succeed in some kind of guide providing oversight that the trials will provide the same results as previous ones.

...problem is its proving VERY tricky to manage over such a diverse form of life. Its proving a challenge to even the supers present who apparently are quite enjoying themselves over it.

Especially given the previous trial hell that they just ended up suffering through...

You got through the outline of the file by the time you arrived. What you saw literally nothing but empty space in a great void between the major systems and spacial bodies...pure nothingness until you passed through some kind of field.

Suddenly a great big installation appeared and drifted into view. There the ship you were on approached and docked. When you disembarked you notice that suddenly you were surrounded and escorted by an entire squad of super soldiers...

They really weren't kidding about the black site status given how well hidden it is and the truly absurd security. For fucks sake who ever heard of someone deploying an entire SQUAD of super soldiers for escorting a simple goddamn intern? Downright freakishly excessive and impossibly wasteful it is...
>>
Rolled 57 (1d100)

>>42710016
After being promptly teleported out of nowhere(you didn't even notice a device or caster nearby). You found yourself in a viewing wing overlooking a operation being done involving a strange lifeform in the form of a combat trial. Apparently you weren't the only intern there you were busy watching taking notes or following the directions of this strange overseer. Who upon noticing you gave the simple instructions of 'make yourself useful and if all else fails just ask first'.

The trial didn't end well apparently considering the hissing of a few of the researchers when the super soldier succeeded before getting teleported out. Oddly enough the super soldier squad was still escorting you...and everyone else also apparently had their own form of guardianship present.

Its kinda amazing how they are so good at staying out of the way but at the same time hovering over them in case anything happens. How do they manage to not get in the way?

It would seem hard to predict what the workers are doing but they seem to be quite limited to a certain stretch of activities per the worker in question. The stuff they do is neither simple or repetitive as otherwise bots seem to handle the work.

The interns for the most part seem to either watch and take notes or run errands for whomever they attach themselves to.

"Yeah pretty much."

"So how did you end up here?"

"Honestly I wanted to see the kinds of juicy tech that was floating around here that you know was actually FUNCTIONAL unlike the biotech."

"Oh...thats sounds reasonable found any?"

"You kidding this place is stuffed FULL of it! Sadly I can't make heads or tails of most of it. Oh free tip when your offered the slav-ahem victims accept. You need their disposability for a LOT of the requests. It WILL save your life and more."

"...That is more messed up then just simple slaves."

"Yeah...i am like 99% positive those victims would actually be a lot better off being simply enslaved."

"Most of the from Volk's Clan hands them over to us and sometimes we have dumb asses who sign themselves up thinking they are actually gonna enjoy a much better gig. Seriously though you should see some of the stuff that is done to those poor bastards..."

"So cannot I like change my mind?"

"Nah your signed up already. Don't worry though remember THEY are disposable trash We aren't! If you have a hard time sleeping at night just remind yourself that you are still human and death is often a merciful fate for them."

"Fucking hell what the hell is done to them?"

"You ever wondered what happens to those things that are experimented on, survived, but aren't considered a success but still useful enough to not simply put down? Now make them suffer from MAD experiments from a infamous crazy clan's MAD super geniuses. Sometimes they aren't even native clanners just some poor sap who signed on the wrong roster or more simply was kidnapped."

"...That just ain't fucking right and I am from the Combine."

"Really now? I am from the republic so what do you do with them?"

First thing is first now that you are working for the guy...you will see him and get your due while you still can. So you rushed over and found out that Dr.Volk is completely available. His guards though...they were some strange super soldiers. You went into his office and see a surprisingly young map laying back on a chair staring at the ceiling.

"Who are you and what do you want? I remember you from the lecture and are some rich scion or something oh wait yeah I remember your elder sister is an evil bitch."

"...I know."

"Yeah I feel yah you should see my sister. So I know where you are coming from."

"Yeah but you ever got fucking lobotomized by the bitch?"

"...Ouch. That didn't happen attempted rapes though and set ups oh yeah."

"...Your sister tried to rape you?"

"Well not personally she just sorta arranged for me to get raped."

"The fuck man?"

"Comes from being a part of my Crazy Clan. Happens a lot actually."

"The fuck?"

"You know sometimes you get too distracted and there needs to be new generations to replace the old and dying ones...sometimes you gotta force it."

"By raping each other?"

"Well yeah with the dash of new blood of course."

"I-I haven't heard a single good thing about your Clan."

"Thats because there isn't any. Anyway what is it you want?"

"First how do you know my sister?"

"Long story involving my own pain in the ass sister. Where do you think that psycho surgeon came from? Apparently the two know each other or something. As for me knowing her i know her through my sister...rather not talk about the rest."

"Let me guess attempted rape?"

"Yeah...its literally complicated though. As in even I don't know how far it goes though. I could know but I would rather not when it involves my sister with that sorta stuff."

"Even when it involves yourself getting raped?"

"Actually I am FANTASTIC at getting out sexually related jams consensual or otherwise. Its really quite the gift. So what you here for?

Bide your time doctor

>So what you here for?
"If you want an official reason, to give the courtesy an intern is due to the professor they are working for and to meet you in person and say what an honor it is to be your intern.

If you want the real reason, mostly to talk. If you have the time Doctor. I was very touched by your words, really, about how there aren't any failures in science, only happiness and disappointment. That really hit close to home, I made some more of my first supreme tech that way, a shrink ray and I'm glad I made it. My only regret is that whenever I make supreme tech it seems to be during flashes of supreme inspiration *cough* crits *cough* , not measured and controlled progress. I haven't yet found out if I can make supreme tech without those random bouts.

Me? My biggest happiness is to one day make a very important Super Tech. A Super Fusion Computer. One that I can enter my mind into and unlike normal fusions which will slow down a true super, but as a normal can boosted by a normal computer fusion, a Super can be boosted by a Super Computer fusion. Be able to do many things at once, without splitting my efforts but multiplying it, acting through bodies not just robots but organic androids. I wonder if I'm not the first to desire something like that.

If you're up for it I would like to ask about MAD. From what I know of MAD, the only people who can live with and use it without harm are Bandits, and yet here you are with a mutation that lets you get MAD but use it to an advantage. I've. . .mistakenly gotten too close to MAD myself. Well, making others MAD mostly, but close to affecting me. I must say I find that exceptionally interesting."

May we ask about your transformation from a potential to a true super genius? How did it go for you and what did you do?

"...hm not really ever seen as a professor."

"No matter how far you go flashes of inspiration are critical. However the fact that you indeed succeeded in creating a piece of super tech would mean that you are in fact a super."

"Such tech already exists...supreme varieties are however much rarer. Such tech comes at great cost and grave risk however."

"...You wish to know of MAD? Bandits? Pirates....yes I suppose but without harm. MAD is both a good thing and a bad thing. I supposedly suffer a mutation of MADNESS. Which can happen...though I believe that due to the very unique and unpredictable nature of MADNESS combined with the differing persons...everyone has their own form and hence mutation of MAD. When people say that somehow I suffer some unique form of MAD a mutation of it is bullshit."

"Not really. At most i can detect you got a bit of MAD tech inside you but thats it...truth is though all geniuses have to walk along a very thin line. Those who succumb to MAD simply failed at it. Sometimes it happens before you are even born. Sometimes there are things that you aren't suppose to know not ever or not just yet. It can cause harm learning it too soon."

>>42713063
"I was born a super genius. I never 'transformed' into one."

Hmm, care to share? I would like to know more if you know about it.

>When people say that somehow I suffer some unique form of MAD a mutation of it is bullshit.
It's not very often you hear of non-pirates who are MAD but don't spread it or negatively affect them. I mean, I'm pretty sure if I went mad without that kind of mutation it wouldn't go near as well as it did for you.

>I was born a super genius
Some people have all the luck. We potentials gotta unlock ours. . .but I've yet to find out how.

Oh, one more thing Doctor, I'm sure your Engineer has been of great help, and I'm going to be helping him too now. Anything you want to say to me besides be sure to follow the Engineer?

Also the auto-sage is on. Need a new thread Genie? We could just use this one until it 404s. Got some tasty questions for now.

No new thread. Haven't been feeling healthy enough to do marathon again.

Alright, take a break Genie. It's been fun, I'll archive this thread.

"Costly to create and by creating more you...enhances chances of someone exploiting the access. Increasing intelligence beyond your limits make it easier to realize something you should not...makes it easier to go insane."

Hey I am still here.

"Thats a fair word of advice. Thanks doc."

Bid the doctor thanks and goodbye, and go back to work for the Engineer we teamed up with.

Continue to work until either we have to do sometihng else or we get some freetime. Maybe until we can temporarily shift and talk to some of the other interns and help them.

"That is because MAD is rather rare compared to ordinary crazy. As for how to maintain control during mad...well i will say its MUCH easier then going back sane again. That is something not even I am capable of..."

"There is a way to...force it. Assuming it goes right nothing bad happens. In fact hooking up a brain to certain super computers can forcefully unlock their super potential...or you know drive them insane or something."

"Interns are like slaves...in places that you know 'make slavery illegal'. Of course its one of those nifty tricks they use to circumvent that little problem."

>>42713816
"There is a reason why I dare not use such enhancers and copy methods. Risks are not worth the reward in such a case as I."

"Otherwise i would do it."
