Your metal covered body fell heavily against the glass panels that formed the polished surface of the pyramid, they cracked on the instant and several small fragments managed to sink in your back as if they were a thousands of backstabbing knifes all at once, and to some degree that was the case. You had been betrayed twice and now you would surely die and become an atomized pile of dust once the plasma fission reactors and the nuclear batteries of the basement reach a critical mass failure and explode with the force of 200 Megatons.

Due to the inclination of the pyramidal structure and your own weight you end rolling and sliding towards your own doom. From time to time there was a rumble that cracked everything around you or an explosion that made a glass panel explode violently as it expels a huge deflagration that melts everything around it and turns the images of the depicted heroes that were on the beautiful surface into deformed men that looked hideous and even daemonic.

The more you descended the more violent the trembles were turning and more wounded you were becoming. At the end it was the structural collapse what brought you towards the sea level. Waves clashed against your blood and oil leaking body and shortly after you started to quickly sink into the salty ocean. Then all got black and you fell into a dreamless sleep.
>>
>>43069901

An unknown amount of time later you suddenly woke up in an empty and endless void. You thought that once again you had died; it would only be a matter of time until something maddening appeared with the intention of eating your soul. Still, nothing came, once your eyes and your mind became clearer you noticed that you were in fact alive, sort of. You were naked and your arms and legs were gone, most of your bionics had disappeared and now you were little more than a limbless torso. Looking around you noticed that you were hanging from thousands of tubes and pipes that were connected to somewhere in the ceiling, you were covered by a veil of darkness and no matter how much you screamed only a faint echo managed to answer you. Using your last strengths you looked at the tubes and saw that they were pumping you with different fluids and liquids of unknown composition and origin. With a pain filled grunt you once again fell to your sleep.

You were brought back to life a second time with a shocking gasp. Your body felt completely compressed; there were several straps that were constraining you against a cold metallic medical table. All you could see were some blurry arches and walls in the distance, your breathing turned quick and erratic once you heard some steps, you tried to look at the source of the sound but the strap that was placed on your forehead made turning your head at it almost impossible. With the steps came the noise of an inhuman respiration, the person that was near you avoided your visual spectrum and surrounded you like a blurry shadow that you could barely see. No matter how much you struggled or you tried to scream you were unable to move or to emit any kind of screech. From the guts of the darkness a shadowy figure jumped and landed on top of you, it crouched and got its face only a couple of inches away from your face.
>>
>>43069907

It was a woman clad in a black suit and with a skull for head. It smelled and even licked your face before smiling to her and then jumping back to the darkness it belonged into. You had heard tales about the incarnation of Death as a woman but you always thought that were mere fantasies created by highly inebriated persons but now…you had a close encounter with Death incarnate. When she was gone you inevitably fell asleep once again.

This last time you woke up inside a slowly draining tube. It was almost full of a viscous and blueish liquid that smelled like alcohol and oddly enough, orange blossom. By the time you woke up the tube was almost drained at your neck level, you didn’t knew at first what it was but then you noticed that your body was completely frozen as long as it was touching that strange material. Then it hit you, this was a stasis pod and you were being awakened, as long as one part of your body was touching the stasis it would be frozen in time and thus irresponsible of your mental orders. When it became completely drained the tube opened in two and two men who were clad in heavy armor grabbed your limbless torso and placed you on a wheelchair, your mind was still pretty blurry so details about their armor or weapons were confusing at best. They carried you towards an ample and very illuminated room and then left you alone. You spent the following minutes recovering and slowly becoming more aware of your surroundings and situation, about ten minutes after being placed in that room a door slid and something crossed it.
>>
>>43069921
The figure that came to you was a golden man who was wearing a heavy armor and looked akin to a saint, he had an aura of golden sparks that followed him and transparent halo that floated on the back of his head, instead of eyes he had a couple of holy fire balls that burned with passion and hatred towards everything that its unholy…it was as if it were a lite version of the Emperor…still, its figure seemed to flicker from time to time, as if it were a defective hologram, in the few instants it flickered you were able to see something behind the figure, it looked like a massive sarcophagus that softly hovered above the ground and among other things had a jet black sword on its back. The man looked at you and proceeded to speak.

“Tell me, what do you see?”

It was strange; when you saw the man his voice sounded slightly deep and respect inducing, when you saw the sarcophagus it sounded like the dying breath of an old man. Still, there weren’t interruptions between the two voices and both came from the same source. What was going on?

> “I see a golden man, a holy warrior of the God-Emperor.”
> “I see a flickering image…its switching and confusing to look at.”

Well, we don't know what's going on either. If there was a write in option, I'd have typed 'a holographic image of the Emperor, with a sarcophagus behind it'. I have no idea what the 'right answer is' or if there is one.

> ”I see a sarcophagus that carries within the voice of an old man…”

The image of the aureal man slowly turned into sparks and dissipated into nothingness, then you were able to see it clearly. Behind it there was a sarcophagus that had behind a thermoplasma engine that ended in four exhausts that spewed fire and smoke and fueled a series of antigrav engines that keep it afloat.

On its surface there was the image of a golden skull that rested on top of the =][= that denoted it as part of the Inquisition. Next to the Inquisitorial symbol rested a couple of skeletal arms that were fixed and kept in place by unknown means. There was also a a bicephalic eagle that showed its allegiance to the Imperium.

"Seems like you are indeed a Blank... at least to some degree. You have been able to see past my Glamour and discover my true form..."

The old voice sounded again, it was human to some degree but its damaged state made it impossible to know its gender, it also seemed to be amplified by artificial means and from time to time it had to stop to catch its breath; whatever spoke from inside was in an incredibly weakened state. The coffin advanced towards you and presented itself.

Sorry for the crappy ass drawing, I hope it is descriptive enough.

"I am an Inquisitor of the Ordo Malleus, and you are the subject that has been revolutionizing the Forge World of Telematha and baffling my best scientist."

"Excuse...excuse me?"

Everything was pretty confusing and weird, you didn't knew what was going on.

"You, sir." He answered. "You are both an artificial pariah and a blank..."

"I...I don't understand anything."

A migraine started kicking in your brain, as if hearing the truth was something that was physically painful, with every word it said you felt more and more pain in your lobes.

"Well then...ask away. What do you want to know first?"

>"What happened?"
>"Where am I?"
>"Where is my daughter?"
>"How can I be a psychic and a pariah?

>"Revolutionizing Telematha? That's my homeworld, what do you mean?"

The coffin advanced and from its back unfurled a series of robotic servo arms that ended in scythe looking blades and gave it an overall arachnid appearance. With those new arms it ended its need to float and gave it a rest to its engine.

"We have conflicts about what is happening in that ashball, all the spies that we have sent have been discovered and killed. Infiltrating into the Mechanicus isn't easy due to how many secret customs your people hold... So far we only know that they consider you a great hero and that they are waiting for your return. There are also some mention about some Benefactors, what those benefactors are is unknown but we cannot rule out anything."

>"What happened?"

The Inquisitor extended one of its scythe arms and touched your naked chest in the heart area.

"You died and quickly sunk into the seabed, you were so full of metal and heavy gear that your heavy descent ended saving your life, by the time the floating pyramid exploded you were deep enough to not be affected by the explosion. Your armor saved your life too, it managed to held the massive undersea pressure, due to some cracks on your armor you ended breathing some saltwater too but your artificial lungs managed to take everything out..."

Using its arachnid arms it retracted backwards and continued explaining.

"Karelia's cruiser had to be either purged or mindswiped, Since most of your Skitarii warriors had little to no contact with the Inquisitress they were found to be untouched by impurities and were instead sent to other regiments after having their memories erased. Alaria is fine, Mellizune had to be purged."

You looked at it and tried to stand up to no effort, you were still lacking arms and legs and thus there was almost nothing you could do to express your emotions.

>"Where is my daughter?"

"Do not worry. She's with us. You'll see her sooner or later."

"Is she ok?"

"Yes, she is. She knows of your acts and feels proud of you Heracor."

>"How can I be a psychic and a pariah?

"Well, we aren't completely sure of how the process works. We only know that you were artificially created from two samples of DNA and that during the gestation process you had your soul removed and destroyed by the insertion of the Pariah gene...Your brain chip, somehow, has been able to create more Cerebrum Synapses as time passed, giving you a broader range of emotions and even turning you into a Psyker!"

The Inquisitor raised two of its eight claws as if this were something miraculous and incredible, to you it felt as a curse.

>"Where am I?"

"You are in my own fortress, the Daemonica Haeresis Circen. Also known as the Daemon Kill-list by some of the personnel. It is a fortress monastery that orbits the gas giant Deithërjis. You'll soon know more about it, don't rush it."

He seemed to be calm as if having to deal with an anomaly like you didn't startled him at all. It was conforting to some degree, most people used to treat you like a freak either because you were a Tech-priest or a Pariah, in some occasion for both motives.
>>
>>43070879

>"Who are you?"

"Well, finally. You know? Usually people asks this as a starter, its just mere education and politeness; still, I understand how confused you might be and how big your desire to know more could become. Thus I will ignore this demonstration of rudeness and introduce myself."

The Inquisitor somehow did a reverence with his spidery arms that was surprisingly less clunky than what you expected.

"Inquisitor Iantorus Minal at your service. I am a member of the Ordo Malleus who has decided to investigate and study you after your last incident with...your old employer."

He returned to his hovering stance and started moving.

"Follow me."

You did so and were once again led by wheelchair and a couple of warriors to an ample corridor that was highly decorated but also looked sturdy enough to withstand a bombardment.

"I do not wish to do this by force so please accept my offer and work for me, its not like you have any other chance but trust me, it will be way easier for you if you are compliant."

>"Will working with you give me the chance to see my daughter again?"

You were taken across a corridor that was formed by some transparent glass panels, that shown you that the Fortress was indeed floating a massive and orange gas giant and how it was cloaked among the planet's asteroid ring as if it were another mere space rock.

"Well...I have read your report but I still don't understand why did you run from your planet."

"They...enslaved me, the chip turned me into a work slave of low class and repressed my emotions and feelings, then one day it broke and I decided to take vengeance onto the Magos who did that to me. Still, I needed to be stronger, and thus I decided to join the Guard."

"You are wrong and live a lie. According to my scientist the chip is in fact working right now, it isn't broken Heracor. You were a Pariah and the moment it activated you felt a sudden emotional spike, then it stabilized and returned to normal levels, slowly it has been gathering the emotions you have been experiencing and turning them into Cerebrum Synapses, growing a soul out of what you have lived and experienced."

>>43071567

Those realizations were in some sort way more painful than your physical pain, you were living a lie and suddenly, your vengeance seemed to be pointless.

"We don't know why did they create you as a pariah and did this to you and what kind of techno-sorcery did they use but we are sure of something, we have to stop them before its too late. If your chip can turn a pariah into a psyker imagine what could it do to someone who is already a psyker. They might be trying to mass create psychically gifted individual to use them as warriors or maybe as a energy source for their machines but they don't know that they are playing with fire. If we don't stop them now we might experience one of the biggest mass possessions that the Imperium has ever been disgraced with.

"And what do you expect me to do?"

"The Telemathans see you as a hero. They have somehow gotten vid-records of you covered in rays and fighting the mutants. We tried to destroy them all but all our efforts were naught, I think this has been done by the own Benefactors of the Telemathans as a way of attracting you back to your planet. I want you to enter and discover what is going on."

"And how am I supposed to do so if I cannot even stand up on my own?"

He then stood in silence and took you to a war room that had thousands of weapons and ample of space to train. There were two individuals in there waiting for you two. One was a tall man that had a body suit and a strange mask and ported a heavy sniper rifle...the other was the woman that you had seen before, Death made flesh.

"I think you have meet before B'xir, my most deadly Culexus. I hope you don't mind hugging you darling but you know, it would kill me."

The girl bent as a salute towards his employer and master.

"Here is LIII-LIII, a close friend and a even closer Vindicare. I do have more ties with the Officio Assasinorium but I think those might be your best choices."

"Choices for what?"

"You already have a mission, now its time to be trained and forged into war. Choose how you want to be and we will mold you into the perfect warrior."

>Pariah.
Remove your brain chip and turn into a complete Pariah, be trained by B'xir and receive an Animus Speculum.

>>Pariah.

Pariah Tech-Priest was what attracted me to the quest in the first place, I love the interaction between the two and the Inquisitor just proved to us that the things we have been feeling for our daughter weren't fake.

For clarification we are still a Magos right?
>>

>Errant

>>
>>43071680
>I assume we can only pick one?
Well, Heracor has been a jack of all trades to some degree, you can Write In an option that has two or more types but he won't be able to specialize as much as if he only picked one.
>>
>>43071604
>>43071717
>Pariah.
>Malleus.

These are my top two then.
>>
>>43071680

To be fair the Pariah option does fuck demons pretty hard, but has the added benefit of also fucking xenos and heretics.

I am going for it because it feels like the zenith of what we can be, we're not actually giving up the Tech-Priest background. (Unless we are in which case I would go for Pariah-Errant)
>>
>>43071604
Errant. Just refresh combat skills and learn to better control our psyker skills so we don't perils.
>>
>>43071682
Eeeeh. I don't really like going full Pariah. That chip has been a great boon as it turns out, and it makes us pretty unique. Plus, I don't think Alaria would even want to be near us if we're full Pariah. Just my two cents.
>>
I'll wait for another 10 minutes, then I will choose one, so far Pariah is the only option who has two votes...
>>
>>43071604
>Errant
True to the Omnissiah as always.
>>
>>43071604
>Errant
Comfortable with everything as it is at the moment. Just want to see our muse again.
>>
>>43071763

That's fair, there is always the limiter option, plus the fact that she is going through tech-priest training and that tends to tamp down a lot of those pesky emotions that cause other humans to get uncomfortable around us.

I'm will to go Errant-Pariah as a compromise but we have been consistently screwed by the warp and being a blank is our biggest advantage there, especially if we're being thrown into what might be the largest mass possession in Imperial history
>>
>>43071911
Only if we have the option of putting back afterwards. I like having emotions.
>>
>>43071604
>Pariah: 2 votes
>Errant: 3 votes

So, should we go with an Errant-Pariah with a pinch of Malleus?
>>

>>
>>43071940

Sounds good to me if we're fighting demons.

What will happen to our emotions?
>>
>>43071978
Well, I give you guys two options:

>Option one is having a anima speculum that cannot work at full extent with our pariah/artificial soul. We would be more effective to Daemons and Psykers but not as effective as a true Culexus. Still, we would keep our emotions.

>Option two would be having an ON/OFF switch on the chip that would let him change between pariah and regular, still it would be very stressing for both its mind and its body and it could fail and send an emotional spike that could once again turn him into a psyker or something worse....
>>
>>43072043

It sounds both more versatile and amusing

>Pariah, Errant & Malleus

"Well, If I am going to face what it could become the biggest daemon Invasion ever faced by the Imperium I better be trained in combating them. Still, I want to become true to myself. I...I guess that this lady here can teach me how to become an anathema to everything warped and you can teach me how to combat evil made flesh."

"I see, interesting choice. It will fit pretty well with what the Telemathans think of you."

You tilted your head questioning what he meant.

"You see, after they saw you all covered in light and sparks and looking like an angel the Electro-Priest cult of Telematha decided to name you the Luminangelus. Some cults have even started to sprout and adore you, oddly enough the local Magos don't seem to do anything to crush those near heretical cults."

Honestly, it would be pretty hard to work with B'xir, her presence made you feel nervous and uneasy and you were supposedly not as affected as the rest of the humans.

The first step you had to take to start training was to recover yourself to your former glory. You were given adamantium and ceramite plated bionics that were nigh indestructible; Inquisitor Iantorus said that it was a personal fight after he became so amused of ihow prone you were to having your bionics destroyed on your personal report.
>>
>>43072862

You were given permission to look at it and it detailed told everything you had lived so far. It had many holodisks on it with dozens of hours of interrogations done to personnel before they had their minds erased. With their answers and a collections of other small proof the Inquisitor had been able to reconstruct all that you had lived so far. Among the many evidence collected by him there were incredibly surprising things like a lump of cloned pink flesh taken from one of the barbaric humanoids that you encountered on Plinia Vesus or even pictures of yourself while you were hunting Kroots back in the day.

Your new bionic arms and legs were thicker and denser, even if they were bigger and made you look bulkier they didn't felt heavy at all, they were silvery in color and finely detailed with many aquilas, gears and thousands of small litanies inscribed on it.

Since you wanted to stay true to yourself and also become a Pariah the scientist and techpriests had to create a neural switch that could turn your chipbrain ON and OFF at will, it came with risks thought, the first time it was activated you had a sudden high on emotions and now that you are more powerful only the Omnissiah knows how could you react...after its creation the Magos Biologis said that such technology even if created by humans and using human technology was surely designed by a higher mind or a deranged one. I think he felt pity for me after knowing that such device would be part of myself forever.

The installation was long and arduous, it needed months of hard and delicate work in which you were completely drugged or if you were lucky, comatose. After it was installed you had to be constantly supervised because any uncontrolled activation or deactivation could send you into a frenzied state only seen on Eversor assasins.

During the first month of trial all your activations had to be done while highly drugged and sedated to assure safety, slowly you started to learn how to do it with some safety but still there would always be a risk. You had to be in a state of spiritual and mental relaxation to increase the chance of success, if you were altered chances are that you would go hyperactive or turn violent among many other possible outcomes.

When you were considered trained enough you started with the phase 2 in which you were trained as a Pariah by B'xir by day and as a Daemonhunter by Inquisitor Iantorus Minal by night. Such a hard training was extremely constraining to your body, soul and mind but still it had to be done with such hurry, every day the Telemathians were urging more for your return and they were close to turning into a hellhole infested by warp creatures.

After an entire month of training you were given two hours of free time with your daughter. When you saw her you entered into a shock...she was at least twenty years now. How much time did you pass on stasis and being studied?

"Alaria...my child."

"I am not your little girl anymore, Father."

Her voice sounded deeper and more mature. She had become a fully fledged woman by now and she even reminded you when you started your quest.

Time flied and those two hours weren't enough...you wouldn't be able to see her again until the next month.
>>
Alright, I'm done with my school homework. Next updates will be quicker, I promise.

>>43072891
During your time you learned about Stealth and Infiltration with B'xir and Magick and Daemonology with Iantorus. She favored getting close to your enemy and attacking it from behind while he taught you how to affront the Daemons. She explained how to infuse fear, he taught how to not feel fear.

At first you felt frustrated because both seemed to be incompatible but after some time you learned that they weren't so different., after all, they both aimed at a similar objective, the misuse of the Warp.

After your second month you were given an entire free day. It was because it coincided with Martis day, also known as Tuesday or the Day of Mars in low gothic.

>Try to spend time with Alaria, catch up with her.

You arranged a date with Alaria and meet her shortly after. At first it went fine and since you had your soulchip activated she didn't even noticed that you were a monster that lacked an anima. Still, you two felt like complete strangers.

After being told how she had been advancing across her studies and such she didn't had much more to talk about and thus the conversation reached an awkward halt.

You two looked at each other and found a person that you once knew but now looked radically different and felt like another person. She was now way taller, even taller than you and had turned into a curvy woman with thin shoulders and ample hips. On her head she had grown a long and somewhat curly red hair that reached her shoulders. She still conserved her real brown eyes but now the lower part of her mouth had become a respirator that made some noise as it filtered the toxic impurities of the air. Not knowing what to talk with her about you idly asked her about the respirator, just for the sake of chitchatting.

"I have severe asthma. I discovered it some months after you went out to never return. One day several marines with black armor came towards the Cruiser and started to shoot everybody on sight. I had a panic attack and started to run, then it was when my first asthmatic crisis hit me up right in the chest. I fell to the ground and I crawled towards our old room. I hid in there for hours until the shots ended. Then they found and studied me... To this day I still don't know what happened and why did they spare me."

You wished to tell her the truth, that you didn't disappeared but risked your life over and over but you knew that telling her such information would be dangerous for her wellbeing.

"I am sorry my dear..."

You hugged her with your strong metallic arms and felt odd, she was your daughter but still, thanks to the effects of the Stasis you and she had a similar age. Since you were a clone knowing your true age was impossible but you thought you looked about twenty five.

"I still miss Mellizune and Liwet..."

"What...what do you know of them?"

You knew that Mellizune was dead, but who knows what truth was she told.

"She died, she was purged in the name of the Emperor for something that I couldn't understand...she was apparently tainted by some dark force...and to think that I was in love with her and we even planned our wedding."

You hugged her even tighter and noticed her softly crying over your shoulder.

"What about Liwet?"

"She...she's still alive. I don't know much more. She thought you died and seemed to be pretty affected but when I was able to tell her about your survival she became incredibly happy. Or at least that's what the Astropath said she felt like. She's looking forward meeting you in a close future."

Regardless of yes or no apologize for failing to protect her. We should have seen the sickness growing in Karelia, we might have stopped it and all this pain if we had.

>Ask her about her skills

"So, what are you adept with?"

You secretly hoped that she had talent for some aspect of the many tree branches that the Adeptus Mechanicus had. You were a mighty warrior and technician yes, but you were one who didn't mastered anything truly and thus had been moving like a wayward vagabond here and there. If she was truly good with one concrete thing then she might have a peaceful and safe future on some Forge World, far from aliens and daemons.

"The moment you were gone and I was taken under Inquisitor Iantorus protection I only had Morti and Wurgen to remind me of you. Do you remember them?"

"Yes, the two Servoskulls that used to follow me. One of them was a gift from the Space Wolves."

She nodded excited and continued explaining her skills, it was obvious that she had been waiting for this moment.

"Well I decided to study and focus my hard work and efforts on the creation of servoskulls."

Servoskulls, not very heroic nor admired, she would be lucky if she manages to become a Magos like you. Still, servoskulls are on almost every planet, from death to hive worlds. She would have plenty of work for the rest of her life, that was pleasant to some degree.

"What happened with my two servoskulls?" You asked curiously.

"They are still with me! I kept them inside a safe until the day of your return. Do you want them now?"

>Gift your two servoskulls to her. They will be tasked with her protection from now on.
>Ask her to show you her creations, see if there is any of them that might be of any use to you.
>Craft some servoskull with her.
>Write in.

I'm sorry guys but I'll end it for today. I'm hella tired and I need some sleep. Next thread this Friday. Sorry if this thread has been short and shitty but I had to do some class stuff at the same time I tried to run.

30 minutes for questions and such.

Thanks for running.

I feel really bad for Mellizune. I'm just gonna have a headcanon that she was actually imprisoned/taken in and they told everyone she was purged for convenience and secrecy.

Just like my headcanon that the tiny laser spider we picked up is on the explorator we freed.
>>
>>43073760
Oh man I love when you guys remember these small details. You guys are awesome. I'm gonna try to make Melli in Kiseake for you.
>>
>>43073721
Good thread can't lie, Glad too see our...Daughter?

So we're a Blank Wizard of the I now?

I want 50, How much?

>I'm just gonna have a headcanon that she was actually imprisoned/taken in and they told everyone she was purged for convenience and secrecy.
What actually happened was that Karelia popped out from the warp briefly, scooped her up right before her bedroom door was kicked in, then gave her some fluffy wings and a new spine.
Now they flit about the warp like a pair of swallows on a willow pattered plate.

We are... A Pariah Clone Techpriest who is being trained into Culexus and Daemonhunting arts. We can Fly and have a shitton of weapons and from time to time we can turn into Electromancer psyker supersayan style...

Oh god. I think I have turned the MC into a Gary Stu
>>
>>43073806
That or Inquisitors thought she had great potential and would make a good acolyte, plus she's the daughter of a loyal martyr of the Ordo Malleus. But she's also the daughter of the psycho that tried to become a daemon. So they take her in, do some soul cleaning if necessary, tell everyone she's dead not to kick up a fuss, and start training her under a new identity.

Are you Matt Ward? I thought we got rid of you. Lol.

So how fucked are we for the coming mission?
>>
>>43073875
Well he struggled. That's something most Gary Stus don't do, and makes them unrelatable.

Ultrasuperduperfucked. We are going to face factions that we haven't fought yet.
>>

There have been many who are far worse, like an 11 year old boy going toe to toe with a sm captain.

What
>>
>>43073996
One of the current captains of the raven guard I think became a novitiate by winning a knight tourney and then fighting a SM captain for 5 minutes solo before getting knocked out. THAT's gary stu.
