It's May.

You have spend the April studying and keeping concentrated on your schoolwork without major incidents happening. You studied Charms and managed to gain a new skill point in Charms. Team captain Anthony takes all of your team members and you to watch the Gryffindor vs. Slytherin match.

It was an exciting and a fierce game. Very close also. Picar, the Slytherin seeker, cathces the snitch and ends the game with a Slytherin victory of 260-130. Alba doesn't get injured yet she has a collision with the Slytherin keeper, which injures him. After that Madame Hooch looks like she has a hard on for her, calling foul after nearly her every move. She leaves the pitch after the match quite upset, like all of the Gryffindor team as they finish the year with no victories at all.

House Points are as follows:

>Gryffindor 205
>Slytherin 250
>Ravenclaw 305
>Hufflepuff 315

The Quidditch Cup final will be in two weeks between Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff.

It's Charms class. Professor Flitwick gives a lively lecture. He is also seems excited about the Quidditch Cup and the House Cup. "Ravenclaw has always been a top achiever in this school." he says. "I am sure we will get the double cup this year!" He then proceeds to teach about the Fire-Making Spell, Incendio. You have been already reading about this spell for two weeks now as part of the class and home works. Now it is time to see if you get the theory behind it and if you can actually cast it.

"Incendio!" You manage to cast the charm perfectly! The piece of paper on your desk caughts fire. Professor Flitwick seems impressed. "Very, very good Mr. Apise! Oh and of course, very good Miss. Fleur!" He praises both you and Anya as she also manages to cast the spell.

Nearly all the students manages to cast the spell. Flitwick seems quite happy and praises this year's first graders as being "best in a couple of years!"

As the class dismisses and everyone heads out to different places you walk to the library to study some more and do your home works. You walk with Anya and then you witness something strange. Two Gryffindors are talking something with David in a quite heated way. You realize one of the Gryffindors is Malus. You can see David quite stressed. It looks a bit like bullying.

We're going to get 150 points when we catch the snitch. Also, the whole house cup system is broken. It just promotes factionalism in a society that really doesn't need it.
>>

>We're going to get 150 points when we catch the snitch.

I thought quidditch points counted 1 to 1 for house points.

I think the factionalism rises more as the outside conflicts happen and polarize the Wizarding society. Normally it's mainly a flavour at the school and to keep the students competing to study more.

You look for the Prefect and find him in the Tower and report about the students heading towards the Herbology class. He leaves quickly the Tower to report to the teachers, presumably.

You spend the rest of the evening at peace. It's in the morning you learn about all the hell that broke lose at the night.

It seems many students got detention for wandering around at the grounds at night and for dueling each other.

Anya looking excited at the breakfast says, "Do you know what happened guys? After our Prefect went to alert the Professor Flitwick, the Professor goes out to find a complete mass at the Herbology class. Some glasses broken, some plants destroyed, Professor Sprouts vials on her table also broken. They found two groups of students dueling against each other! Can you believe this?"

"Woah, what?" Glenn seems tense. "We did the best by not going there I guess! Who are these students?"

Anya thinks. "Ermmm it's the boy from yesterday, David Ickheart and two other Slytherin students. They were dueling against Alba Morteno, Malus Rhodian and Bill Weasley"

Tim also enters the conversation. "I heard that Alba went there to check out what the Slytherins were doing. And then they started to fight. So strange..."

"Look at their points guys." Valdis says happily smiling.

Professor Phyillia talks about Muggles in this class and how some Dark Wizards in history attacked or used Muggles for their own ends. She tells of many spells that the Wizards use against or for Muggles, such as the memory cleaners or Muggle repellers. "Everyone knows from experience hov fast the dreamer kan incorporate into his dream a loud sound he hears, bell ringing, for example, or cannon fire, hov he explain it after the fact from his dream, so that he believes he is experiencing first the occasioning factors, and then that sound." She goes on. "These spells have the exact effect on Muggle brains. They think either something they heard already existed or they think it is something normal and they should not think about it much and this is how most of the time we repel kan repel the Muggles..."

Anya raises her hand during the class. "Professor, I heard there was a fight at the Herbology class last night. Do you know what was it?"

Profesor nods with a thin smile and explains how she and Professor Flitwick found some students dueling with each other. She says they must have entered there because it was an empty place.

After learning about some Muggle repelling spells and strange incidents about them in history, the class is dismissed and you try to find Bill Weasley. After some search you find him climbing the stairs near the Great Entrance. You catch up to him and ask your questions after saying hello.

So he said they decided to investigate since lot of people think it's them. But he says when they entered there, there was nobody except the hiding Gryffindors.... what do you make of it?"

Valdis just shrugs. "It's all and good, John but... I mean I don't really see the point of getting involved with this. Let them do what they want, go out at night, breaking stuff, trying to cast curses at each other. They got their punishment and detention AND A LOT of points. We should stay away I think."

You decide to find that secret room, with the Gem of Location in your pocket, you think about your Mother's words: "In the castle, on the sixth floor, near the portrait called "the Reading Man" there is a small opening on the wall. When you touch the wall with the gem, the wall opens up slightly like a door and it reveals a small room that as far as I know nobody in the Hogwarts knows. Especially not that stupid Squib Filch. Don't tell your father"

You head to the sixth floor, look for the portrait and find it. You look around to see if there is someone, then you find the small opening on the wall and put the gem there. Suddenly with a slow grinding sound the wall opens up a little like a door, you take the gem and enter.

The door looks actually like a door from the inside. The room is about the size of your dormitory room. It doesn't have any windows. There is also no fireplace or paintings on the walls. There are some writings on the wall, more like scribbles. There is a small table in the middle and some pillows on the floor. Everything looks very dusty. There are some books on the table, an empty ink bottle and a broken quill, some blank yellow papers and an old ring.

>What do you want to do?

There are three really dusty books on the table. "The Beater's Bible" you just open the first page and take a quick look, there seems to be some rules for Beaters, which the first rule reads, "...take out the Seeker." You shiver a bit and close it. Then take a look at the others, "The Rise and Fall of the Dark Arts" and "Guide to Advanced Occlumency" you open the cover and there is a list of contents along with some writings that says "...property of 'Dromeda", looks quite boring, then a ring takes your attention. It seems simple and looks metallic, with a small and pale green gem on it.

On one side there is a drawing of a tortoise looking kind of cute. Under it three letters are written, JMT. Next to the drawing there is another one, a crown topped with lot of stars and some circles. This scribble is also moving, the circles turn around themselves in a slow fashion. There is two letters under it, AB. But the B is scratched out, yet still visible.

On the other wall there are also some random scribbles. There is a drawing of a witch on a broomstick hitting a Bludger. The last one is a snake with Slytherin QT '67 written under it.

After a while of reading or trying to read you leave the room, you walk downstairs passing a ghost wearing a simple crown and a cape, you head downstairs to the Great Hall.

Another day passes and it is the second week of the May. It is the day. The final.

You take your broomstick and your kit, all the House is waiting for the team at the breakfast table just as the Hufflepuff students waiting for their own team. You feel super excited and a bit sick in your stomach.

You head to the pitch after the breakfast, all your friends wishing you luck including Alba who says she will beat you bad next year.

Anthony looks confident in the changing room. "We are the Ravenclaw! We are the Eagles! We are the Rulers of the Sky! And we will bring that damn Cup to our House!" all the team cheers really motivated for the match.

You get on your broom and wait for the match to start.

...yet the game continues for another half hour, neither you nor the Hufflepuff seeker able to locate the Snitch. The score is 150-150 now.

Then it happens. You see a yellow light, coming somewhere near the ground. Both you and the Hufflepuff seeker see it at the same time. Both start to dive towards it.

Both of you dive in, the wind hits you on the face and you don't even see your surroundings anymore everything is a blur of mixed colors of blue and yellow.

The Hufflepuff seeker is also diving just next to you. You two now touch each other on the shoulders.

You dive and dive. Very fast.

The older Hufflepuff seeker, starts to get a bit ahead of you, just a few inches. You two are now kind of locked in an uncontrollable diving.

Then you see it, within an arm's lenght, the Golden Snitch. But the Hufflepuff Seeker is just faster than you and has a longer arm. You reach, he reaches. And then you realize he got it. The Hufflepuff Seeker cathces the Snitch, while both of you are still diving. You don't know what happens to him as he breaks away from the lock, you are still diving down, very fast. Everything happens in a couple of seconds. You hit the ground. You hear some sounds and cheers, everything becomes blurry. Then everything becomes dark.
