You are Ur'shal, Chieftain of the Stonetusk Clan and Warlord of the Wastes. The assault on the dragon cultist compound in the jungle has gone well, and while there have been some unavoidable losses you have had nowhere near as many deaths as you'd been prepared for. Your Stormhorn riders have demolished the wall and your orcs have swept through the outer compound, cutting down or subduing the cultists, including a few of their lamia leaders.

All that remains is the large structure at the compound's centre, which you are guessing is some sort of temple. What remains of the cultists are mounting a fighting retreat back within the building, though at this stage it's only a matter of time before your warriors overwhelm them.

That's not to say it'll be easy mind you, several of the lamia have retreated within, and their combined magic could prove a serious obstacle. Furthermore, it seems that at some point, your priest Vor'zal infiltrated the building and run afoul the cult's leader, a large albino lamia who's done quite a number on the tough old orc. Impressive though that is, you'd rather not have her kill the old man, priests are hard to come by these days. Unfortunately up on the balcony as they are, they're a bit out of your reach. You could order your archers to fire at the lamia but you are aware that bows are still new to many of your orcs, so there is a definite risk to that plan. You could also order Bra'kur to target her with his magic, though that risks setting the whole structure aflame, and the sorcerer seems to have trouble with the concept of not causing collateral damage.

>Order the archers to target the leader.
>Order Bra'kur to target the leader.
>Order the archers and Bra'kur to target the leader.
>Vor'zal can hold on, force your way through the defenders to reach them.

Loss of a priest is not an option. But tell Bro'kur to be at least a little bit careful when zeus-ing the shit out of her if that's possible.
>>
>>43177535
>Vor'zal can hold on, force your way through the defenders to reach them.
>>

>>Order the archers to target the leader.
>>Throw one of our throwing daggers at her as well.
>>Order some of our orcs to get beneath the balcony, tell Vor'zal to jump, have the orcs catch him and drag him out of the way of the fighting.
Can we have Bra'kur target her only if the archers fail to hit her? Maybe like an increased DC to stop her from killing Vor'zal for Bra'kur in exchange?
>>

>Vor'zal can hold on, force your way through the defenders to reach them.

Did you not read the last thread? Vor'zal is limping, bleeding, and the lamia leader has wolverine tier regen and aims to kill.

Can we tell Vor'zal to jump(assuming there are orcs in place to catch him) after we order the archers to fire at her, then?

Yes? There's also a good chance that the archers will hit Vorzal as well and Bra'kur bringing the whole god damn building down, killing Vor'zal in the process
>>
>Bunch of in-training unskilled archers.

I mean. How hard is it to count this? I am fairly certain that the building can take bit of shock and Bro'kur is definitely not stupid either. Come on, is the risk/reward this hidden to you all?
>>
>>43177535
>>Order Bra'kur to target the leader.
>>
>>43177706
It isn't the shock, it's the fire that's possibly a problem.
Then again, the fire might make the lamia come out of the building of their own volition.

I'm changing >>43177595 to
>Order Bra'kur to target the leader
Though I'm not against telling the archers to do so as well, and telling him to be more careful.

“Bra'kur, target the leader,” you shout, as you advance on the wide front door to the structure.

While you'd like to charge in right now, that runs the risk of your disorganized assault collapsing in the narrow confines of the building's interior, which would be messy. Instead you take the time to let your forces gather as you march for the door.

You hear a crack of thunder, a flash of light streaking overhead as Bra'kur unleashes his magic on the lamia leader. The bolt strikes her on the side, knocking her back and blackening her pale flesh, exposing bone beneath, another bolt glancing off her skull, charring through hair and skin, burning away an ear. Vor'zal avoids the clumsy swing as the blasts knock her off balance, but the lamia doesn't cry out, she rears back up, regarding the potentially fatal wound on her torso lazily as the charred outer layer gives way to raw flesh and muscle, knitting back together with unmarred skin.

You aren't entirely sure how to deal with someone who can shrug off such vicious wounds, but you can worry about that when you reach her. If nothing else, it's given Vor'zal the space he needs to back away from the lamia, dragging himself back up to his feet with the aid of the balcony rail.

She surges forward again, bringing the glaive down, smashing straight through the top of the rail as Vor'zal narrowly dodges, snarling as the edge of the blade claims half a finger. Bra'kur launches another blast, but this time the lamia rears up, holding her glaive high overhead as the phantom wind around her whips up into a vortex, the bolts glancing off the tempest, one striking the edge of the building, which starts to smoulder.

>>
>>43178158
“Catch him,” you bellow to some of your warriors, as Vor'zal manages to drag himself up the rail again, Bra'kur keeping the lamia focused on maintaining her magics to deflect more bolts of lightning as the old priest slumps over the edge, dropping into the arms of your forces below.

One less thing to worry about at least, now it's time to turn your attention to your own assault, with suitable forces gathered, you step to the front of your warriors, Dru'ak and his honorguard flanking you as you lead the charge on the doors of the structure.

The cultists guarding the front gate barely put up a fight, folding quickly as your warriors sweep over them. Most are cut down where they stand, though a couple of the finer looking ones wind up dogpiled and bound by the warriors following in your wake, dragged back into the horde.

You have no time to worry about that though, pushing on into the building itself and leaving that to the warriors outside. The inside of the building is impressive, carved wood walls intertwined with smooth stone in a way that suggests elemental magic had a hand in it. Great wood and stone statues of dragons support the high beamed ceiling, glowering down on the open central area with crystal eyes. At the far end you can make out a winding staircase up to the top floor, behind an altar piled high with offerings of gold, gems and bones of jungle predators and intelligent races.

It would probably look even more impressive if it hadn't been turned into a charnal house, blood drips from the walls, the ceiling, drenching everything, a human lies slumped halfway across the altar, scattered offerings littering the floor around him, another collapsed on the floor in front of him, stomach ripped open. An elf lies in two separate pieces before the staircase, and a fourth cultist, race impossible to determine, looks to have had his head beaten to a bloody smear against one of the statues. It seems that Vor'zal made quite a mess in here before he ran afoul of their leader.

>>
>>43178378
Unfortunately, since passing through, more cultist forces have moved in to replace them. Aside from the fearful, wide-eyed cultists from outside, you count two remaining lamia and a dozen other cultists who look different from the rest. These last cultists, elves and humans, lack the panicked expression of their fellows, dressed in light white robes hanging over tough hide armor, each wielding short-handled spears and shields carved with roaring dragon faces. They form up in front of the two lamia, shoulder to shoulder, watching you and the rest of the cultists with grim finality.

The message is clear as the panicking cultists look back to the line of the cult's warriors. Retreat is not an option.

“Surrender yourselves to me and live, or fight and die, choose now,” you roar, the cultists finding increasingly little room to move as you advance across the room at the head of your forces, quickly finding themselves backed up against the lowered spears of the temple guards.

One of the cultists cries out a prayer to something you don't recognize, presumably a dragon they revere, his warcry tinged with desperation as he hurls himself forward at your warriors, the rest of the cultists surging forth to join him.

Despite their desperate assault the cultists charging straight at you and your honorguard in the centre of the orcish forces discover all too quickly what a poor choice they've made. You tear a bloody path through the disorganized weaklings, your axe spattering blood across their temple as it cleaves through flesh and shatters bone. Dru'ak stomps alongside you, reducing cultists to gory pulp with his maul, the rest of the honorguard acting in well-practiced unity as the elite of your clan scatter their foes with little effort.

Unfortunately, not all of the cultists were good enough to throw themselves just at you and your best warriors however, and others instead throw themselves at the warriors flanking you as you push forward. Their frenzied, panicked assault finds greater purchase there, succeeding in slowing your clanmates' advance and even claiming the lives of two of your warriors in the chaotic melee.

Behind the chaos you see the temple guards standing resolute, the air around them filling with motes of light as one of the lamia mutters arcane words to herself, fingers outstretched towards her defenders.

Hmm.
It's always annoying to come into a thread and notice things went poorly somewhere along the line already.
I mean, it inevitably leads to the "Can't you people do anything right without being babysat?" kind of saltiness, but in all honesty it's questionable whether I'd really have for example vetoed the favour spending.

It objectively does seem a pretty shit idea to spend Y'zagya Zoka favour to intimidate chaff, when we still have a Lamia leader with crazy regen to capture and only had two favour left, but that's a lot easier to point out when not in the moment and with the results already visible.

I suppose I can always console myself with the fact that only three out of 22 IPs voted for it.
>>
“Honorguard, fan out and support our warriors,” you bellow to your warriors, as they spread out to slam into the flanks of the cultists, your enemies' momentum crumbling as the hulking orcs start their bloody work.

You turn to aid in the battle, but catch sight of the lamia's muttered casting reaching a feverish pitch, the motes of light flickering brighter and brighter as they diffuse into a blinding glow around the temple guards. Snorting, you reach to the bandolier across your chest, drawing a throwing knife in one practiced motion, hurling it at the lamia. The temple guard before her tries to bring his shield up to deflect the shot just a split second too late, the heavy projectile slamming straight into the meat of the lamia's shoulder, sending her crashing to the ground shrieking, the glow fading away to nothing in moments.

Sneering, you bring your axe down on the skull of one of the cultists, the blow bursting the human's head open, spattering you in blood and grey matter as you let the force of the swing bring you down into the shoulder and halfway through the ribs of the man next to him. A cultist crashes to the ground next to you, Dru'ak driving his shoulder into the elf hard enough to shatter bone, the man barely having time to scream before the maul is brought down on his chest, caving it in.

The cultists are quickly collapsing before your assault, and your warriors, fighting with renewed vigor with your aid, are once again even managing to subdue a few of the cultists who look worth keeping. Fortunately, despite the attention you're paying to the battle, you keep your wits around you enough to notice the glint of bronze as a speartip stabs through the air where your throat had been moments before. The temple guard, seeing all too clearly that it was only a matter of time before you crushed the remaining cultists, or perhaps simply enraged by your injuring one of their lamia priestesses, have advanced on your forces. The injured lamia hangs back, trying to wrench the heavy knife from her shoulder, while the remaining one slithers forward with the line of temple guards, her eyes glowing a sickly yellow-green, strange rippling waves of magic bubbling off from her fingertips.

You doubt the temple guards will give you time to throw another knife at her at this close range, so you'll need to act quickly.

You can see well enough just from how they handle themselves that the temple guards are very different from the rest of the cultists, these are experienced fighters who earned their place above the rest in blood. Taking the lightly is a risky prospect, but still you think it's a better choice than leaving the lamia behind them to cast her magic.

“Dru, back me up,” you shout, knocking aside a spearthrust as you charge straight into the line of guards, trying to take advantage of your greater size and strength to barge straight through their line. You shove an elf aside, slamming an elbow into his shield, throwing him off balance, letting the blade of your greataxe swipe past the face of the human woman next to him as you charge through the surprised guards.

“A little more warning next time,” Dru'ak grunts, bringing his maul down in front of the human woman as she tries to drive her spear into your side, forcing her back onto the defensive.

The lamia's eyes widen as you bear down on her, forcing her to rear back out of your reach as you swing the axe across in front of her, the magic around her hands twisting and warping, but not fading away. Looks like she's still got her wits about her enough to keep her magic going, but at least you've stopped her from unleashing it on your warriors for the moment.

I'm kind of curious about some of these shitstorms, but at the same time, the reason I tend not to have seen them yet is usually that the quests in question didn't manage to catch my interest in the first place.

Risking both our life and our chance of capturing their leader by locking us into milf-god favour, if any, definitely doesn't seem worth it.

A thought occurs. I don't know if this has been asked already, but lamias are pretty snake-like, right? Are they venomous, or constrictors?
>>
>>43181242
We'll find out once we mess around with them enough, I'm sure.
I assume it depends on type or something.
I think these ones are constrictors since venomous ones don't have much reason to grow huge.
>>
>>43181242
The main thing is: I don't believe either of those types has a gag reflex
Will Aleida finally be challeneged as the deepthroat champion?
>>
You give the lamia no time to recover, pushing forward and swinging again, forcing her further and further back towards the altar, and putting more distance between her and the aid of her guards. The lamia snarls, spitting curses at you in elvish as she weaves this way and that on her tail, trying to avoid the wide arc of your swings.

You bring the axe down hard, cracking the smooth stone of the floor, the lamia screaming as it catches the end of her tail, bringing her hand round to strike you, fingers still bubbling with arcane power. You wrench your axe free, getting yourself out of the way just in time to avoid her grabbing hold of your forearm, the panicked attack throwing the lamia off balance. She quickly realizes her predicament, one hand on the ground as she tries to turn her fall into a dodge away, but you put an end to that plan with a hard boot in the jaw, sending her sprawling back across the ground and crashing into the front of the altar, dislodging the corpse slumped atop it in a clatter of scattered offerings.

The lamia gasps, spitting blood and teeth, but despite her wounded state, she quickly drags herself back upright, throwing herself at you with a scream of rage, hands outstretched and pulsing with sickly magic. It's an attack born of desperation, but since you still don't know what her magic will do, you can't risk taking it lightly all the same, and so you meet her lunge with your axe, the reach of your massive weapon allowing it to split the lamia's skull open before she can make contact. Her body slumps to the ground, tail still twitching, the magic dissipating as you wrench the axe free. A pity to kill a rare slave like that, but it's not worth wasting time on and risking more deaths of your warriors.

(cont)
>>
>>43181106
Considering that this reroll would have left us with absolutely no Y'zagya Zoka favour to spend on capturing the High Priestess, I'm pretty sure going for the capture would have been a shit idea.
>>
>>43181412
You frown, turning back to the battle behind you, bringing the haft of your axe down on the head of the other, injured lamia as you spot her trying to drag herself away to cover, knocking her out cold. That's one of two at least. The fight between your orcs and the remaining cultists and temple guards is going well, as hardy as the temple guards are, your honorguard are proving more than a match for them, and with the added weight of the rest of your forces pressing in around them, they are quickly being overwhelmed. That's not to say that they haven't put up a bloody fight though, and several more warriors and one member of your honorguard lie dead on the front lines.

You take hold of the unconscious lamia, holding her up by the back of her neck, her tail hanging limply to coil on the ground.

“Throw down your weapons or your priestess dies,” you bark, but with the din of the battle, and the temple guards being so focused on the fighting in front of them, you doubt your words even registered.

You let the lamia drop back to the floor, you suppose if they aren't paying any attention to you, you may as well use that fact to your advantage. Hefting your axe, you charge at the back of the temple guard's line. When you bury your axe in the ribs of one of the guards, slicing straight through his robes and hide armor, the temple guard dying with a surprised gurgle as the massive weapon ruptures his organs, then they finally pay attention to you.

With you behind them, and your honorguard in front, the temple guards' respectable last stand finally starts to collapse, your warriors tearing through them in a matter of moments. You even manage to bring down the two female members of their number alive, Dru'ak hammering the haft of his maul into the belly of the human woman who almost skewered you on your way through their lines, who looks to have been putting up an impressive fight against your old friend.

“Almost killed me, can I keep her?” he grunts, the temple guard dangling unconscious over his forearm.

You look at the stunned female, tall, athletic, with the same dusky skin as the elves. You're sure Dru'ak will have a lot of fun with her.

“She's all yours, but how about you wait until we've dealt with the rest of the defenders before you stop for some fun,” you snort, gesturing for your warriors to follow you.

“I can wait,” Dru'ak grunts, passing the woman off to some of your warriors to restrain, the look in his eye making it all too obvious what will happen to them if anyone gets any dumb ideas about his new slave.

The staircase is narrow, especially for you and your warriors, your elbows brushing the walls as you walk, the dwarven shortsword in your hand, since you doubt your axe would do much good here. Unfortunately, it seems that the enemy have also realized what a problem the stairs will prove for you, as you step back just in time to avoid a spear jab aimed at your face as you reach the last of the stairs. Looks like there's more of the temple guards up here, a couple right in front of the door ready with their spears. It's hard to see the rest of the room from the narrow view your position gives you, but you doubt those two are the only enemies in the chamber.

They're not actually in the stairs, they're at the top of the stairs, in the room. They have plenty of room to move around.

As Ur pulls the foolish guard out of formation with his strong Orcish arms the lithe Elf thumps into his chest and stares up with eyes filled with anger and a small amount awe. They make the motion to reach for the knife on it's hip, but still unbalanced it can only steady itself with a hand on Ur's bicep.

>>
This is not a favorable location to be fighting from, but who knows how many enemies are waiting to pounce if you just blunder into the room. Stepping back to avoid another spear jab, you draw a throwing knife from your bandolier, hurling it at one of the temple guards, planning to take advantage of the distraction to strike while he's busy deflecting it.

He does, to be fair, look very distracted when the throwing knife sails right past his shield and buries itself in his eyesocket, both you and the other temple guard caught in a shared moment of surprise as the dead guard crashes backwards to the ground. You snap yourself out of it before he does though, lunging forward and grabbing hold of the spear of the still-standing temple guard, wrenching him into the stairway, driving the shortsword up under his ribs as he crashes into you.

Twisting and wrenching loose the blade, you grip hold of the temple guard in your free hand, stepping out into chamber with your rapidly expiring human shield. The rest of the cultists look unsure about the prospect of being the first to rush in as you take a moment to glance around and get your bearings. It's a large chamber, taking up half of the top floor, a thick set of wooden double doors separating off the other half on the far side. By the looks of the scattered nests of furs and pillows piled up around the sides of this room, you suspect this to be the chamber which houses the majority of the compound's lamia. One of the lamia lurks by the back of the chamber, near the doors, hissing a command to the cultists, which finally shakes them out of their panic. You count fifteen of them in the chamber, humans and elves, but none dressed in the temple guards' uniforms.

>Advance slowly into the room, give your warriors time to filter in behind you.

Eh.
The High Priestess has bullshit enough regen that I'd argue she's one of the few we can use it again and expect to make the will roll to drop out before she's dead.
Personally, I think the fact that we couldn't adapt intelligently to her bullshit is a more important deterrent.

Well I don't like it sir, not at all, these lamia deserve to not have to share spotlight with Ash.
>>
>>43183755
>Not share

Hence doing one now and the other later.
>>
Just grab the shields from bottom and push push push. Assemble a tank it hedgehog.
>>
>>43183792
Hence that will make the lamia have to share the thread's screentime.
Ash has already gotten plenty of scenes, and I believe having Ur's first titjob done by her and her alone would be better than what you suggest.
Making her wait for her turn for an additional day would only heighten her desire as well, I really wonder how deep she can swallow if she really tries.
>>
>>43183755
Now now friend, not to say we need to immediately jump to a double titfuck from those two, it is an idea which can be done down the line when Albino-Snekfu is tamed and happy
>>
>>43183851
It really depends on who has the second biggest tits to be honest.
What could be even better is to later on get an oni or something else with really dark skin and big tits for that contrast with albinosnekfu.
Then again being covered in cum would fit such dark skin much more so then snekfu.
These are hard choices, good thing we still have time.

You step into the room, tossing aside the carcass of the temple guard and sliding the shortsword back into your belt, hefting the comfortable weight of your greataxe one more. The cultists seem very reluctant to follow the orders of the lone lamia at the back of the chamber, who flicks at the end of the loosely braided hair hanging down over her shoulder in obvious irritation.

After your first few warriors filter in behind you, Dru'ak once again taking his place by your side, the lamia has clearly had enough of the slow, nervous advance on you. She raises a hand, her index finger pointing at one of the cultists.

“Your lack of faith is shameful,” she hisses, spitting out a few terse syllables, a bolt of inky black magic bursting forth and striking the cultist in the back of the skull.

The cultist she's pointing at drops to his knees screaming, clawing at his face as his skin bulges and splits, large black-shelled centipedes erupting from the flesh and scurrying along the floor towards you. That proves to be a good motivator for the cultists, who after a few moments of staring in horror at the scene, charge at you, voices screaming hoarse praises to some dragon or another.

Frightened fervor proves little match for you however, as the first cultist to reach you finds his belly split open by your axe, the second crashing to the ground screaming as you lop off an arm. Your warriors lay into them too, hacking and smashing through the panicking cultists.

As you rip into one however, you spot another threat, one of the large centipedes scurrying up your boot, eagerly seeking out the lighter material of your leggings to bite through. You snarl, swatting it off and stomping on it, but the distraction proves enough for one of the cultists to score a blow, slicing into your bicep with a large curved blade.

(cont)
>>
>>43184201
You snarl, backhanding him across the face hard enough to shatter his jaw and drop him to the ground unconscious, stomping on another of the centipedes as it skitters up to try and copy the last one. You growl, rolling your shoulder, spikes of pain shooting up through your shoulder around the cut, your stomach lurching as you catch yourself before you can stumble.

Poison, figures.

You flex your arm, frowning, you don't have time to worry about little annoyances like this, especially not now, when the lamia could be ready to fling more magic at you or your warriors. Instead, you charge forward, letting another inky bolt of magic glance off the flat of your axe as the panicked lamia turns to try and push through the door. Unfortunately for her, doors that large and heavy weren't meant to be opened so quickly, and you reach her before she can turn the handle, slamming into her shoulder-first, knocking her out cold against the door and splitting through the heavy wood, the lamia slumping to the ground with a groan as you step back.

Shoving her off to the side with a boot, you glance back at the room, the last of the cultists are quickly being overpowered or finished off by your warriors, dependent on how appealing they look to keep. Which means that all that remains is the high priestess herself, and whoever else she has in the other room with her.

You turn back to the door, readying your axe, raising an eyebrow as you notice the door rattling slightly on its hinges, a faint breeze slipping through underneath. You put two and two together just in time to bring your arms up to catch the door as it blasts off of its hinges, skidding to a halt with a grunt, despite the heavy pressure being pushed against the other side of the door.

You toss the chunk of wood aside, snarling as you catch sight of the high priestess on the far side, hand outstretched, her hooked glaive slung idly across her shoulder. She looks more annoyed than genuinely angry or frightened, though the beads of sweat across her alabaster skin suggest she's not quite as relaxed as she's letting on.

(cont)
>>
>>43185038
She also doesn't seem to be alone, two other lamia and a handful of temple guards standing with her. You see others over by the balcony, where the back of the room opens to the air behind a drawn-back curtain, where they seem to be trying to fend off more of your warriors as they scale the building.

You can still feel the stinging pain and sickly sensation of the poison, though it seems to be lessened somewhat.

The poison is basically cured, it's fine.
Remember that we have our lightning gauntlets with 2 charges.
Try to get the leader occupied ao our warriors can deal with the rest.
If we can try to stealthsnipe some grunts with knives.
Be wary of her tail, make sure our warriors are as well.
Shittalk her a bit in elvish
>>
So what do we do in regards to tactics?
Personally, I'm kind of willing to do the reasonable thing for once and let our troops throw themselves at their leader while we and our elites deal with the other Lamias.
It'll cost us some orcs, but quite frankly I'm not convinced the others are all that capable of taking the normal Lamias out quickly, given that this is a cult, I wouldn't be surprised if they focus on fucking up everyone threatening their leader and finally, the leader might even somehow draw power from her followers.

There are only two lamias, Dru can take out one at least, we should let our warriors handle the lamias and the guards.
If we can we can have a couple rush to the balcony and throw the guards there off the ledge to let more of our warriors in.

You reach into a beltpouch, popping the cork off an elixir and gulping it down, feeling the sickly sensation fade. The lamia leader drops the glaive from her shoulder, gripping it in both hands as the other lamia and the temple guards step forward.

“About time, I was getting tired of carving through your lackeys,” you grunt, stepping forward, your warriors starting to follow you through the doorway, fanning out to meet the enemy.

“...but before we get started, I've got a question for you,” you snarl, locking eyes with the high priestess.

The large lamia raises an eyebrow, holding up a hand to halt her followers.

“Where is your fuck-hole, exactly? I've never had a lamia before, and it's be a real shame if we couldn't figure out how to please you all tonight,” you smirk.

The lamia high priestess gives a weary sigh, running a hand down over her pale face. “It's too early for this.”

With an idle gesture from the leader, her servants surge forward, meeting your warriors head on, the temple guards and lamia clashing with your forces. You charge forward, sending one of the temple guards sprawling to the ground with a blow from your axe, his head rolling off into a corner. The lamia leader meets rears up as you approach, feeling a chill wind whipping at your face as you reach her, her glaive raised and back, ready for you. Instead you duck under the swing, seizing hold of a familiar shape at your belt, catching your footing behind the large lamia as she wheels around to face you.

“What are you doing now?” she frowns as you start to utter the siren command words. You really need to find someone who can change it into something less humilating somehow...

With a pop of displaced air, Rik bursts into being, the lamia leader slithering out of the way just in time to avoid the flailing tentacles of your pet as he struggles to find his purchase in the high-roofed chamber. A couple of unfortunate temple guards, not as quick as their leader, find themselves smeared across the walls as Rik thrashes around, confused by the chaos around him.

“Now why would you go and summon a thing like that in here?” the high priestess sighs, as you hear the wooden flooring creaking under Rik's impressive weight, though it seems to be holding for now.

I'm gonna be honest, I like their leader's attitude.

That said, please lets keep this serious.
We're dealing with one very powerful caster and two at the very least dangerous ones.
Who are on top of that hard to restrain with tentacles thanks to the whole half-snake thing.
If Rik fucks around and doesn't smash whatever he can smash he's going to get banished without dealing any lasting damage.

That option is an obvious bait to make the building crash down.

Have rik calmly gather the captives while we fight.

The building crashing down would be pretty metal and would allow the orcs outside to get in easier. Assuming we survive the collapse

It is too late Anon.

It was always too late.

Fuck expanding the camp.

Next job for the coven is building an artificial lake for Rik to splash around in.

Yeah, the rule of cool is nice and all, too bad it's almost guaranteed to backfire and make us look like a fucking retard.

anon, why shouldn't we go after the bait-option? I mean, we could even manage it with a nat 20

“Barely ever get the chance to summon him, doesn't seem fair to leave him sealed up in that shell all the time,” you shrug, turning your attention to the sea-monster.

“Rik, women, non-orcish ones, hold them, don't let them move.”

Rik regards you with his great dark eye for a moment, finally finding his balance as he wraps a few tentacles around the room's support pillars. You parry a strike from the leader's glaive with your axe, sending a shower of sparks off as they scrape against each other, though she's large, her human half at least doesn't seem to be all the strong, though her long tail makes it difficult to throw her off balance despite your greater power.

The whole room is in complete chaos, your warriors battling with the cultists all around you, rik's tentacles flailing around, occasionally snagging one of the female temple guards, though the lamia seem to have been quick enough to elude him so far, their magic striking down several more of your orcs.

The lamia leader lunges in again, stabbing at you with the end of the glaive. You duck to the side, swinging your axe for her ribs, the pale lamia looking somewhat annoyed as the blow slices the flesh and cracks two of her ribs, quickly circling around to the other side of you even as the flesh knits itself closed and the bones pop back into place.

“I am willing to accept your surrender,” you grunt, hopping back as the lamia's tail starts to wind around towards your side, looking to snag you in her grip, almost losing your footing as she strikes you mid-hop.

She sighs, not answering, trying to follow up the strike with another as you bump up against a pillar behind you, steadying yourself and shifting to let the strike glance off your breatplate.

“You've got no-one left, save your two lamia and a handful of cultists,” you grin, hearing a shriek from behind you as Rik finally seizes hold of one of the lamia, winding her up in his tentacle, her tail thrashing wildly as she tries in vain to pull herself free.

“...make that one lamia,” you continue, stepping forward, knocking aside a blow from her glaive once more to bury your axe into the back of her tail, though even as you dig it in, you feel the force of her regeneration trying to push the axe out, flesh and bone mending itself almost immediately.

“I suppose you're right, I should stop messing about,” she sighs, the end of her tail smacking into your side, making you grunt at the force of the blow rattles you through your armor.

You turn to face her once more, the lamia rearing up and muttering to herself as she raises her glaive high overhead, wind whipping up around her as the whole chamber starts to creak and groan. Looks like she's preparing to do something very bad.

>Shout for Rik to grab her

Regen probablt cant help the shock of your bodies electrochemistry getting thrown for a loop, at least long enough to tie her up.

...

How're we tying them up anyway, those tails are Stronk.
>>
>>43186668
ok, we're doing it, but remember lordy, we're trying to knock her out, not roast her for breakfast
>>
Considering she got struck by LIGHTNING and healed it either and our gauntlets channel ELECTRICITY, I assume the results will be the same as earlier: Her simply shrugging it off and healing.

So getting her pinned down seems to be a better route

You know, I'm starting to suspect she might secretely be a dragon or at least half-dragon.

Yeah, but I don't think we need to worry about killing someone that just shrugged off getting her torso blown halfway off by a lightning strike.

if so, then we're upping the dragon-dickings timetable considerably. Y'zagya Zoka will be proud.
