You are Shee Hyul, rebel leader, psychic and Reunited. Your world is ruled by inhuman creatures and this has gone on far too long, it’s time to fight back.

You return home from your conversation with Garrax, Breaker and Kulrathe with your friends, and you all stand there, looking around at one another, wandering what to do next.

“I'll put the kettle on” says Dev, heading for the kitchen.

Soon you're all sat around the table, drawing up a list of things you need to do, and discussing the order of importance.

“So, no assassins today” says Rainya, sounding slightly disappointed “but...why?”

“They're taking you seriously” says Dev “scouting you out, they know you're tougher than the others.”

“Or maybe just better at hiding your abilities” says Kaelyn “they want to see what you've got before they send assassins.”

“They're just that scared of you” says Lirael loyally.

“Right so” says Dev, taking notes “we could wait for the assassins to come after you, or even lure them into a trap.”

“Or just start going after Reunited” says Rainya “teleport in, guns blazing, how hard can it be?” She grins.

Kaelyn shakes her head wearily “Rai, dear” she says in a patient tone “they've risen to rule their Hives, fought off other Reunited. They'll have guards, traps, body-doubles, all sorts of defences. Lets not walk into a trap, ok?”

The Rainya's wear identical scowls as they slump down in their seats, arms folded “excuse me for having ideas” she grumbles.
>>
You try to head off an argument “an outright attack really would benefit from some intel, maybe we should trying spying on them first, whose up for sneaking around?”

The Rainyas and Kaelyn nod at the same time, then notice, and give each other wary looks.

“Can we go back to the facility?” asks Lirael “I liked it there.”

You could, maybe. In the aftermath of Lord Reapers confrontation with the Five, and the other Reunited holding Hives, you retaking the research facility would hopefully not provoke a huge reaction.

Or you could try enhancing your newest ally, the living forest, Randolph. And there is still Jade to deal with...

So, what are you going to do first?

>Wait for assassins
>Attack one of the Reunited (who? How?)
>Go spying (target?)
>Take back the psychic training facility
>Go talk to Randolph
>Go after Jade (how?)
>Other (what?)

Reaper also doesn't have a personal beef with those other Reunited and isn't looking for the slightest excuse to wreck them.

After last thread ended you said to ask for a PoB vote if we wanted to get it.
I can't remember if we have enough xp for it or not. I think we do, though?
>>
>>43236933

Pretty good chance Reaper will use that to send the military after us, you really think its a good idea to put yet another enemy on our place while we are still busy with 3-4 other enemy factions?

I'd like to get back and get the rest of the stuff from there. Especially if we could use the robots.

We got 20, so even if we do get Primacy (I think its 25 iirc) we can't get any of the preipherals which make it really cool to begin with.

The assassins come on their own and we don't need the facility anymore anyway
>>

What for? We can literally just make it ourselves in our realm.
>>
>>43237121
Are we able to remake that x-3?
>>
>>43237138
Nothing stopping us, we just need a level or two more Artifice, sneak into the facility, scan it and then make it in our realm. Same for the psychic power activator.
We could also just steal the X-3 directly. We don't really need the facility as place, only a few things in it.
>>
So going after Jade in her dreams it is.

And Metavote whilst I write that update.

Shee has had a whole 2 weeks without anything going horribly wrong, or someone trying to kill her. What has she been up to in that time?

This is a vote on downtime activity, 15 minute vote time to allow for write-ins/discussion, may extend time if needed.

Note that this does not mean Shee was neglecting everything else, only that this is where she focused her time.

Pick 2

>Talk to Lirael about Shee's new bloodline
>Connecting Shee's realm to Randolph
>Training her abilities (bonus xp for Shee)
>Training allies abilities (bonus xp for them, pick one)
>Gathering information on someone (who?)
>Other (?)

Winning options will be added into other updates, those requiring follow-up votes/in-character discussion will happen via flashbacks. Obviously Shee will not be doing anything to her friends that they don't want her too.

Please also discuss spending xp, I'll call a vote on XP use if there's no clear consensus.

Didn't connecting Randolp to the realm require a whole bunch of extremly XP expensive abilities we didn't have? IIRC thats why we didn't do it last time already.
>>
>>43237282
That was the case as far as I remember, hence why I voted for training to get that XP.
If it isn't anymore I'd vote for connecting.
>>
>>43237282
I think it was just Interdimensional Teleport that we needed as an actual ability, then a bit more XP and some time to erect a gate. I'd assume that since it's an option we can go into XP debt a little bit to make up the difference.

We never payed XP for it, the original plan was getting it spontanously via manifestation XP:

“Before I can really focus on the Reunited” you say “There are a few loose ends to tie up.”

You get a roomful of quizzical looks, Rainya figures it out first “Jade” she says.

“Yeah” you reply, feeling hatred bubble up within you at the mention of her name.

“Ah” says Dev “So uh, are we going to ambush her when she's out shopping?”

Lirael just looks from face to face wordlessly, wearing a sombre expression.

You shake your head “No, I want to do this privately, intimately” You look at Kaelyn “Feel like getting past the Crimsonthorne family wards?”

Kaelyn nods grimly “I've been thinking about how actually” she says “And what I think we need to do is....”

XXX

Much later that evening you and Kaelyn slowly walk down a sandy hill onto a wide stretch of beach, the sea is blue and clean and the air clear and crisp, so very different to the processed air in the hive, or the dust-choked atmosphere you got used to.

“The trick you see” says Kaelyn “is to blend in, to appear to be just a part of the dream. Now, we can do what we want, as long as we stay in-character, just two girls at the beach” overhead there are three hot suns. You are not in a dream about Apollyon.

All along the beach are families enjoying the sun, some playing in the water, and in a private enclave, with shade and people bringing them cold drinks...are the Crimsonthorne family.

“So what, Jades dreaming about a day at the beach?” You say, you're wearing a rather revealing two-piece bikini, whilst Kaelyn wears a matching one.

“Hmmm” Kaelyn looks around “this....this feels more like a memory to me.”

You both wander slowly towards the Crimsonthornes, trying not to stare too much. They look...normal. A half-dozen adults, some children, all in the shade of a huge canvas shade.

But no Jade in sight, or anyone else you recogni-

No....

No it can't be....

Sat in the sand, building a sandcastle, is a young boy, who looks like photos you've seen of Ashley, when he was just a child.
>>
“Ash...” you breathe out, taking a half-step in his direction.

“No!” Kaelyn whispers to you fiercely “this isn't real, Shee this is just a memory, we need to find Jade.”

You shake your head, and try not to stare as the two of you wander past the Crimsonthornes, arm in arm. You can't see any sign of Jade, child or adult.

“Why not just disrupt the dream?” you ask Kaelyn, you don't know if you can do this with a kid version of your old friend here.

“That'll trigger their defences” she mutters “once Jade realises this isn't a dream, our time will be short, until we have her, don't alert her.”

What do you do?

“Fine” you say “fine, lets just find her, deal with her, and get out.”

The two of you wander down the beach for what feels like hours, you search in the water and on the hills, with no sign of her.

You're about to give up hope when, from atop a cliff at the waters edge, you see a small boat full of children just out of sight from the main beach, hidden behind a rocky outcropping.

As you get closer you see that there are five children in the boat, and one of them, you squint, looks like it could be Jade. The boat is slowly moving in the direction of a sixth child who is swimming. The swimmer then turns and swims towards the boat.

“Finally” you say, ready to head down the rocky hillside, jump in the water, and deal with Jade.

“Wait” says Kaelyn “just...this doesn't feel right.”

going into the water it is, writing.
>>
>>43238401
Yeah, and last time we dove into the dream of a member of this family there totally wasn't anything powerful lurking in his dream or anything dangerous about those shadows. Kaelyn has a bad feeling, anything and everything is potentially death.
>>
>>43238369
Why not? Even under the assumption its dangerous (why?), something being dangerous isn't exactly a deterrent to Shee. Otherwise she wouldn't be here to begin with.
>>
>>43238441
>Yeah, and last time we dove into the dream of a member of this family there totally wasn't anything powerful lurking in his dream or anything dangerous about those shadows.
The shadow vamps are already gone, back then the family estate was on particular high alert and had the combined security resources of both them and the shadow vamps, and it still was only smehwat challenging to Shee back then when she was WAY weaker than she is now.
>>
>>43238459
Because it's an unknown factor, Kae feels like something is off and nobody has presented any actual reason to do so.
>>
>>43238441
>or anything dangerous about those shadows
There are no shadows mentioned here,a nd back then we knew there was something dangerous about them, so whats your point?
The only bad thing that could ever happen here is if for some arbitrary reason it got triggered by adream figment going into the water.
>>
>>43238512
>any actual reason to do so
Because we need to go in there anyway to get at Jade? Because we have no guarantee she ever leaves the water before waking up?
Because there is no reason not to?

In case you are completly missing the obvious implication, there is something off ABOUT HE SCENE SHOWN, not the water in particular.
>>
>>43238492
>>43238517
Because on a planet close to the realm of chaos and dreams ruled over by the fae, who have almost unparallelled mastery of the realm of dreams, shadow vampires are the only thing that could potentially lurk in the dream of a known enemy of a Reunited that a powerful Fae Noble has a personal grudge against.

>>43238544
>Because we need to go in there anyway to get at Jade? Because we have no guarantee she ever leaves the water before waking up? Because there is no reason not to?
None of these are really validating not spending a few minutes seeing what happens or giving Kae some time to figure out what feels off before moving towards the potential trigger to me.

>there is something off ABOUT HE SCENE SHOWN, not the water in particular.
The scene is FOCUSED AROUND THE BOAT AND THE WATER.

Uhm, no? Its focused around the PEOPLE ON THE BOAT AND IN THE WATER
>>
>>43238696
If a fae invaded Jades deam then there is nothing we can do about it. And chances are pretty good Shee can easily take him too unless its on the level of the Desert, in which case finding out about it is valuable on its own and Kae would never ever be able to detect it anyway.
>>
You motion Kaelyn to follow you, and the two of you head down the rocky hill towards the water. There's nothing in there that can threaten you, and once in the water, you have a lot of nasty things you can do. The children ignore you and the swimmer reaches the boat and climbs in.

Just as you're at the waters edge you hear a scream, quickly cut off. You and Kaelyn both duck behind a handy rock and watch as the five children in the boat, including what is definitely a young Jade, hold the sixth child down and start feeding from her, biting and tearing in a frenzy.

You watch in disgust as the sea washes around your ankles.

“What the...?” says Kaelyn. This is like no vampire feeding you've seen, they are tearing bloody mouthfuls out of the girls flesh, savaging her like crazed animals. One keeps his grip on her throat, preventing her from crying out.

In minutes it is done, the sixth child is dead, and with gore-drenched mouth the other five are laughing and mocking their victim, parodying her struggles, to much amusement.

You hear the sound of a throat being cleared and an old vampire with white hair and heavily wrinkled skin comes wandering around the shore. He's wearing loose baggy clothing of a material unfamiliar to you.

“Well done” he congratulates the five young vampire “now, throw it in the water, wash yourselves clean and I'll have some sea predator dispose of the remains.”

“Yes uncle Tasich” says Jade, and directs the others, who cast the still body of the girl into the water.

“Wait a while before returning” says the old vampire “and never forget how weak your cousin was, she deserved to die.”

“Her own cousin?” you mutter under your breath.

“Family doesn't mean much to some people” remarks Kaelyn. The two of you are still hidden behind a convenient rock, and no one seems to have noticed you yet.

The old vampire wades out into the water and closes his eyes, concentrating.
>>
>>43238770
There is a huge stretch of power variance in the fae between what we can easily handle and the level the Desert is on.
>>
“So, now?” Kaelyn asks you “or do you want to try and get Jade alone? Or maybe find out exactly what went on here?”

Confronting her alone might prevent her from realising its a dream, you think. You might be able to talk to her, or the others in the dream as well, as long as you maintain your cover.

So is Shee. Actually far more so than Yonsul, because in Yonsuls case it was someone abusing his authority and misleading the system to do that and Yonsul is also wokring for people who want to prevent these things.
While Shee is completly cool with the Church of the Hell King.

“Not yet” you say to Kaelyn “I want to know what's going on here, I have a feeling I might end up dealing with more of the Crimsonthornes in future, and finding out how twisted they are could be useful.”

“Ok” says Kaelyn “I see your point I just...ugh, I thought some of the fae were cruel...”

The two of you watch as some bulbous creature surfaces briefly and drags the body under, followed by the old vampire heading back to the beach, and eventually the children in their boat, too.

You follow at a distance, keeping Jade in sight. After shadowing her for a while, eventually she is alone, playing in the surf far from anyone else, wearing a creepy half smile.

“Uh hi, Jade is it?” you and Kaelyn approach her “Jade Crimsonthorne?”

Jade turns to look at you “who are you?”

“A friend of your uncle Tasich” you say “He uh, he wanted me to pass on a message, that no one suspects anything, and that you did good today.”

Jades grin widens. Even as a young child, no more than 7 or 8 she looks disturbing “It was fun” she says “I like the look on their faces when they realise they're about to die.”

Yuck “That's good” you try to sound encouraging “so you know why your uncle has you doing this?”

Jade rolls her eyes “you're testing me aren't you?” she says “Uncles always testing me, yes, its to remove weak people from the family, and to form the Hydra, the Five-in-one, all glory to the Dragon Beneath, blah blah blah.” She sounds annoyed “He promised once we'd killed seven then the ritual would be complete, I do hope we get to keep doing it, just once more sounds kinda boring.” she draws the last word out.

“Hydra?” you mouth to Kaelyn, who shrugs.

“Do you want to catch crabs with me?” asks Jade “I like watching them wriggle as I pull their shells apart.”

Now what?

There's no real need at this point. Any time we would get one of his gifts, we instead get a gift from a god that actually offers us good things and isn't a gigantic rule-breaking shitter. If there's a particular gift you want from him, we're a goddess of corruption and impossibility with a blood connection to him, we can probably just make our own version by which I mean AA can write a version for us.

It's not even in our court at this point, he's infintely salty and is just going to keep sending avatars at us, which we kill, resulting in him sending more avatars and being more salty.

“Sounds like fun” you say, as Kaelyn gives you a concerned look “count me in.”

After spending some time with child-Jade, tormenting various small life forms, scaring her siblings and cousins, and tricking various strangers for her amusement, you learn some curious things.

Her Uncle Tasich is not well thought of by his own family “They think he's kooky” says Jade, twirling a finger in the air near her ear and believes in a number of old prophecies, mystic rituals and strange vampire lore.

Apparently by ritually killing seven members of their own family, specifically those who trust them, Jade and the other four children will gain the ability to form a very powerful mind-link, vastly increasing their psychic powers. He's also told them to keep it a secret from the rest of the family, which according to Jade, they have.

When you try and get more out of her, she starts to get suspicious.

“I don't remember Uncle Tasich talking about you” she says, frowning as you are crouched at the side of a shallow rockpool with her and Kaelyn. Around you the dream starts to blur and shift.

“We need to do something now” Kaelyn warns you in a whisper “If we stay too long other family members will start to intrude, the Crimsonthornes always did think their best defence was their own powers, and some of them are quite strong.”

Thats why "Impossibility", to treat her mind like a physical body. But okay, fair enough.
>>
“Time to go” you say out loud “in fact, time for all of us to go” You start to withdraw to your own dreamscape, Kaelyn following, and the two of you dragging Jade with you.

“Let go!” Jade screams, her childish form suddenly replaced by the adult version “who are you-blglglg!”

You're all dunked in water as you find yourself in a vast ocean, with the partially-submerged Hive in the distance. The water poses no threat to you, and Kaelyn easily walks atop it, but Jade thrashes around in the water, trying to swim. A swarm of sea-creatures attack her, driving her under the water again and again.

Then the water turns crimson with dark blood, and Jade surfaces, her dark hair clinging to her scalp as she rips one of your creatures in two.

“You!” she shrieks, fixing you with a glare as you float nearby “Ash's blood whore, well, I guess I finally get to-flglghlgl!” she goes under again, as a pair of sharklike jaws close around her. More blood stains the water, and bits of sea monster bodies start to float to the surface.

“Your defences have got her occupied for now” says Kaelyn, looking impressed “but it won't be long before she thinks to call her family for help, whatever you want to do, do it fast.”

You ponder that, As Jade struggles in the ocean. You could just kill her, preferably painfully.

You could also turn her into a slave of sorts, she is a vampire and could be useful to you. Leaving her with her family could be quite a risk, but you could also just keep her close to you, to use as needed.

You could read her family secrets from her mind and let her live, show her that you don't consider her enough of a threat to be worth killing. Your hands clench into fists, no, Ash deserves vengeance.

What do you do?

You can shape the Gift of Baalzamon into one of 3 options

Hide Another
You can use Hidden Heart Method and Hidden Self Method (if you have it) on another person – you must be touching them to use either of these powers on them, they must be willing or you must beat their Will check. You specify what the power hides in their mind when you use this power. This costs 6 psychic energy points and lasts for 1 day.

Tearing Claws of Jealousy
That which Baalzamon cannot possess, he destroys. When you fail on any roll to control another, or change their mind or personality in a way that benefits you, you may make a free attack, or use a single damaging power on them as a reaction. They must be in range of the attack or power used as normal.

By Spite Consumed
It takes a very petty person to be consumed by a desire for vengeance over the smallest slight. Whenever you deal damage to a person, or otherwise hurt or offend them, you can spend 5 psychic energy and make a Telepathy check. Success means that over time they will become consumed by paying you back for the wrong you have done them. They will spend whatever time, effort and resources they need to get even. Attempts to manipulate them that play upon this desire for revenge gain a +10 bonus to all rolls. You could convince someone to throw themselves off a cliff if it would mean the possibility of hurting you back.

Sadly none of these are very good, TCoJ is okay-ish, but I generally dislike any strategy that assumes failure. Hide Another is probably useful at some point, if we need to smuggle someone out (willing or unwilling).
Basically most useful as a quick surgery.
>>
>>43241584

Definitely Tearing Claws of Jealousy, useful as insurance for mucking about in peoples heads. I could maybe see Hide Another (depends on the argument) but By Spite Consumed just makes our enemies more obsessed with us which we don't really need

What does
>Hidden Heart Method and Hidden Self Method
do?
>>
>>43241584
Damnit Baalzamon, I just want your form. Or Dex if you already don't want to hand that one over.
Hide seems the most useful of those.
Our entire character is built around mind-fucking in a large part, someone who can shake that off isn't bothered by a attack.

Hidden Heart makes it difficult to learn things about you (mind reading, using social skills to detect lies etc), Hidden Self gives you a fake cover personality.

Literally no point. If we mindrape someone its because we 'don't' want to kill them.

This seems like a power thats only useful to someone who is completly built arond Baalzamon shenenigans.
The fact that he offers it to us right now is, worrying.
>>
>>43241697
Pretty useful, especially since you can force it on someone else and prevent others from finding out things by reading their mind.

See >>43241708 for pally's brief description
>>
You float there, contemplating the possibilities, eventually Kaelyn snaps you out of it “Shee, what are you going to do with her?”

You rise up until you are standing on the surface of the water next to Kaelyn “she likes messing with peoples minds” you say “lets see how she likes being on the receiving end of her own methods.”

As Jade battles the beasts of your dream realm, you reach out with your telepathic powers, infused with your ability to corrupt and warp those around you into what you need them to be. By the time she realises what you're doing, its too late. Oh she fights back, she fights back with all her own considerable mental powers, trying to crush your own thoughts, terrify you, distract you, showing you horrifying imagery of those you care about suffering and dying.

But its all for naught. Eventually Jade stops fighting back, and bobbing to the surface at your feet she clutches at your ankles “forgive me!” she begs “I don't know what came over me, I never meant to cause offence, please, don't be angry!” She gazes up at you fearfully, worshipfully.

Kaelyn gives you a rather disapproving glare and shakes her head sadly.

With Jade pacified, you feel the power of Baalzamon surging within you, you shape this into the ability to hide others motives and thoughts, a useful quality for any spy. You do feel no small amount of regret that you couldn't have some sort of draconic form though, that would have been fun.

[Baalzamon favour +1]

As Jade begs to be allowed to make it up to you somehow, you consider your options. You could just leave her where she is, a spy in the Crimsonthorne house, protected by your new power. You could order her to actively seek out someone else to watch, or order her to your side to keep an eye on her, and to learn all of her secrets.

What do you do with Jade?

>Stay with you

“Come to me” you say sternly “I want you here where I can watch you.”

“Yes of course” she says, nodding vigorously “right away, as soon as I wake.”

“No” you contract her “make it plausible, tell your family you're going on a trip, or staying with friends or something.” It should be too hard to reroute any com-calls she makes to look as if they're coming from somewhere else.

“Yes, yes mistress” she says. With that you let her go, and she fades from your dream realm, returning to her own.

Kaelyn glares at you “So, looks like you've got someone new to bite you then” she says “will she be sharing your bed too? I'd love to see you explain that one to Rainya.” And before you can answer she angrily cancels her spell, and you wake up in your bed, a Rainya on either side of you, snoring softly.

“Well, screw to you too Kae” you mutter, before dropping off to sleep, what's up with her?

Cute.
>still sad Calluna didn't have red hair.
Oh well, just means Shee and Rainya need to keep trying after the first.
>>
>>43242723
A far as I remember most Primacy shit was already paid for with manifestation XP, so we probably still get that without needing extra XP.

But Pally and AA would nee to clarify how our Bloodline/Void power situation now is if we didn't let it manifest.
>>
>>43242741
I was under the impression that the xp that was going to go towards PoB stuff got dumped into tentacles and other things instead because of our choices before the hiatus
>>
>>43242723
Depending on what we already got, it would be good to get FoL9 to get Void9, because its one of the ranks that makes a pretty big difference.

>>43242788
IIRC the manifestation pool was extremly large, and the tentacles stuff didn't take that much XP. But as I said, we would need clarification.
>>
>>43242723
Void can't be raised any further right now, but you could get Haemokinesis abilities or more bloodline power ranks (I don't think it's in the rules pastebin, but it's pretty useful). There is another mystery power tied to your bloodline being written as well.

>>43242741
Basically, you now have Primacy of Blood, your own unique Bloodline power which, in opposition to most vamp powers, is mostly passives boosts and new functionality, the first rank of said bloodline power, which automatically converts all of your ranks in Shadow to Void (so you have Void 12) and a single Haemokinesis power, as that's considered a natural psychic discipline for Hyulpires (or whatever you guys call your bloodline).

>>43242788
No, Tentacle XP was it's own thing.
>>
>>43242919
Haemo powers are a thing I would like to get. I guess waiting until mystery box gets revealed might be better but the blood powers are something I really wanted.
>>
>>43242919
Thanks for the answer. Do we have any idea what Haemokinesis powers cost in XP? 5 like the psychic powers?
>>
>>43242959
I wouldn't worry about the mystery box too much, it might take a while to write, and it'll probably get as many ranks as possible manifested from it's own XP reward upon completion.

>>43242978
Yep, they all cost 5. They're considered a psychic discipline in every way, including being able to teach them to others if you use Psychic Infection, though non-vampires don't get the option of paying with Vitae instead of HP for the extra cost. Part of your bloodline's gimmick is that all of your vampires are natural psychics and get bloated PE pools, albeit not as extreme as an Arcanum would.
>>
If I see it right, we now got 12 XP for Shee, so we could buy
Shee 5/12 15/18
>FoL 9 (-5XP)
>Thousand Biting Claws (-5FoLXP)
>Eviscerate (-5FoLXP)
>Blood Shield (-5FoLXP)

>>
>>43243114

>>
>>43243114
Blood Talons is the "default" Haemokinesis power. So I heavily assumed its the one we get for free.
>>
>>43243076
I'd be willing to shell out an extra 5xp for flaggelation to get master in haemokinesis
>>
>>43243196
It would be just 3XP, but since there isn't a mastery bonus for it written yet, and Flagellation being useless to Shee, I didn't saw much need for it.
>>
>>43243196
>>43243220
2XP, pardon.
>>
>>43243076
All of the currently present Nihil Dominus powers are attained automatically as long as you have at least one rank in Void, though future ones might require additional investment, in which case the cost would be noted with the sub-power.

>>43243114
You're going to get Blood Talons as a freebie.

>>43243220
There are mastery bonuses to every Haemokinesis power. There should be, at least, though maybe there was a copy error.

>>
>>43243220

>>
>>43243255

What a cutie.
But you should have sabed for when Calluna showed up again, even if in 6 months.

>>
>>43243387
Yeah, that really needs things to spend it on. One of the bloodline's features is that it pushes up the cap on how high you can raise other vampire powers as it increases in power, so hopefully that will help.
>>

>>
>>43243502
>One of the bloodline's features is that it pushes up the cap on how high you can raise other vampire powers as it increases in power, so hopefully that will help
Thats actually very cool and definitly useful for her.
Maybe we can get her the Crimsonthorn Clan power too, if they have a interesting one.
>>
>>43243525
She inherited a few of them. In the system of ESQ it was represented mostly as spell-like abilities though.
>>
>>43243525
Most of them. Not necessarily the gifts of the Five, but any power that is iconic of Shee or Rainya could theoretically be inherited by Calluna. Plus, she's a Demigod of Impossibility, so she will break her own limits and develop her own powers, albeit ones that usually still share common theming with her parents.
>>
>>43243660
That's cool. Would she be able to contact Shee or Shee contact her from this quest?

Crossovers man.
>>
>>43242702
I'll ask again, is that a tentacle coming out of her vagoo?
>>
>>43244000
It only looks like a tentacle.
>>
>>43243716
Calluna can't contact her in Psychic Rebel, but Post-Ascension Shee has contacted Calluna a few times and is occasionally screwing with reality to help out her daughteru's school friends.

>>43244000
Not quite. It's a little hard to unravel, but it is starting at the back, then curling around the thigh, through her legs and back up to wrap around her neck. I think.

Although I guess she could make it do that since she's probably going to inherit the tentacles-anywhere thing that Shee can do soonish.
>>
>>43244156
How is Calluna NOT the most popular girl at school?
>>
>>43244156
Is that how Calluna changed the fish? She asked her mother for help?
>>
>>43244200
She's not good at dealing with people, tends to act strangely in a way that puts a lot of people off and is somewhat ashamed of her tentacles due to being bullied about them a lot due to the previous two things and them being an odd physical feature she previously couldn't hide.

She's also 13 and tends to react in her normal strange way to any kind of hints at attraction that other girls might've dropped in spite of her being 13, which was probably off-putting.

>>43244232
It's possible that Shee gave her a bit of a guiding hand at that moment, but it wasn't anything more than explaining how to do it subconsciously, if that. The power was all Calluna's.
>>
>>43244330
Are the Five/Four also reaching to Calluna on their own or must they go through Shee first?
>>
>>43244672
On their own. It was mentioned at one point that Mirror is also contacting Calluna from tim e to time but avoids Shee(the Prime). They are still Gods afterall.
>>
>>43244672
It's significantly harder for them to reach her than for Shee, as their aspects don't lend themselves quite so well to this, but they can do so. Shee tries to keep tabs on anyone contacting Calluna so she can devour Mirror if he slips in.
>>
>>43244821
>so she can devour Mirror if he slips in
Shit nigger that's hardcore.
>>
>>43245189
It also means we can't kill him in PRQ yet.

Which brings a question, how canon is Egwen Quest to PRQ? With Calluna existing, it fixes the ending where Shee won everything and ascended the "official" ending. This quest's ending is already chosen, by virtue of Egwen defining it so.
>>
>>43245381
>It also means we can't kill him in PRQ
You can certainly try, and you might even succeed. For a little bit. The thing about Mirror, and the Five in general, is that they're very, *very* hard to kill for good. When Shee gets a bit more powerful, she'll definitely take the crown for hardest to kill due to how her anti-death power is planned to work.

>how canon is Egwen Quest to PRQ?
It could be divorced from the canon of PRQ if it absolutely *had* to be, but the details revealed by Egwen are likely to happen, and I think the majority want them to happen.

>it fixes the ending where Shee won everything and ascended the "official" ending
Ascension isn't going to be the end of the quest, and the only way it's not going to happen sooner or later is if you die (your Aspects and Gifts, unlike most of the other Reunited, are potent enough that you could potentially reach divinity without any further aid from the Five). Even then, you might not stay dead for long.
>>
>>43245615
Just how involved are you with Pally's quests?
>>
>>43246219
Me and him make up Pally's Angel and Devil on the shoulders, so to speak. I troll his quests to bring myself and the QM amusement, and he keeps things on track and makes sure it all doesn't stray from the story.
