A dome of reality surrounded your frigate, the Lux in Tenebris, and then it became able to fully enter into the gaping maw of the warp. The entire ship trembled as the entrance happened, its electricity covered surface entered into the most hostile environment that existed, an environment whose predators were so dangerous and hostile that they were a complete anathema to all life ever existed and still to be born.

After the entrance was completed everybody stood on complete silence, the only thing that could be heard was the constant buzzing of the high voltage and the occasional chiming or mechanic sound that the many machines around produced. Then, a voice chimed all across the vox system with a peace filling message.

“Successful entrance, stable warp route traced, Geller field working at an optimal condition, Warp Drive at peak performance. The Omnissiah has blessed us.”

Even the servitors seemed to become more relaxed and less tense, it wasn’t until now that you noticed that even they had stopped with their duties. You looked around and noticed that everybody had a duty to do, data to study and things to check.

Most of the men and women under your command seemed to be Electro-priests, fanatically devoted warriors who dedicate their lives to the Motive Force. Regardless of sex they had their chests naked and several electoo circuits could be seen illuminating under their pale blue skins, one thing that they all shared was that their Electoos depicted several small wings or a pair of great ones on their backs. It seemed that along women their electric tattoos got more circular and ornate designs while men preferred straight lines and right angles, still, it seemed that it was most of a cultural choice and thus the sight of a male with circular or more exotic designs was completely possible. They all also had some crimson bandages that covered their eyes and sometimes went up and wrapped their hairless heads; some of those blindfolds were charred oddly in some points and in the most extreme cases they were little more than burnt and darkened rags. Other raiment options that they wore were pants and skirts and silver looking shin guards or shoulder armor, in some occasions they also capes along with hoods or other kind of headgear. Along with all those clothing they also carried their own accessories and trinkets. Overall they were individually unique but looking at the greater scale they were a somewhat homogeneous army.

As for weaponry those Electro-priests carried either a backpack portable generatorium that was directly bolted to their spines and a couple of Electrostatic Gauntlets that let them discharge energy at will or Electroleech Staves that were able to absorb the bio-energy of both organic and mechanic beings and use it later to feed other machinery.
>>
>>43351891

Among the non-Electro-Priest personnel you could find servitors, regular Skitarii and regular techpriests that all varied greatly and only shared their need of rubber boots or gloves to withstand the completely electrified interior of the ship.

Now that you were the captain you had plenty of things to do and nobody to boss you around. It was a strange sensation honestly. It was true that you had been pretty individual in more than one occasion but during all those times you had been under the orders of powerful people. Now you had ascended the echelons of the Status Quo and found yourself as a new chief. You were Magos Errant Heracor Nahive, fighter of mutants, aliens and daemons alike and as some believe an angel and chosen of the Omnissiah, you were finally strong enough to take your vengeance into fruition.

What will you do now?

>Explore the frigate on your own.
>Check on your cogitator the Inventory of the ship; see how many weapons and vehicles there are at your disposal.
>Meet your generals and get to know them. They will be at your orders after all.
>Send a broadcast transmission all across the ship offering a duel with anybody who dares to fight you. Offer the chance of being your personal bodyguard to the two best warriors or anybody who manages to defeat you.
>Install on your room and rest.

>Check on your cogitator the Inventory of the ship; see how many weapons and vehicles there are at your disposal.

You leaned on your mechanic chair and noticed how several screens and holodepictors smoothly moved in front of you by using articulated arms or small antigrav generators.

The enhanced cogitator relays turned to be a massive series of server blocks stored somewhere into the interior of the ship and connected directly into the screens that appeared in front of you. Once it booted up a small servoskull that was attached on top of one pict-screen emitted a red scanning light from one of its lens eyes and after it read and accepted you as the administrator gave you full access to the many functions at your disposal.

Finding the Inventory didn't took you long. After accessing those archives you became surprised at how quickly the processors accepted your request and gave you the necessary information.

Vorpal swords are in fantasy a kind of sword that can decapitate or mutilate easily. I thought it fitted with the True Stormblade theme and special ability.

It seemed that the ship was pretty well armoured, something logic thinking that you were a Magos that had focused his life into becoming stronger and defeating enemies under the Omnissiahs neverstopping grinding thread wheels.

Most people was trusted and equipped with at least a combat knife, even if they were regular techpriests with no combat experience. Now that you are the captain of the frigate you might decide to train everybody in the use of the combat knife, that way their chances of defeating the enemy will be marginally better, and who knows, maybe some techpriest might find the training and combat prowess interesting and turn into a Skitarii.

First you had to meet your generals for that formed the upper levels of your small army. You sent them all a message and decided to meet them on the same room you were at. Soon they all started to appear and present themselves.

The first one to come was Campiní Secondo a tall and thin woman that was oddly curvy yet flat. She presented as the Aeronautica Commander and the teacher of the local Air Schola, the small and elitist branch in which they taught the adept Techpriest how to become aces of the skies. She wore a tight black bodysuit that was covered by very fine plaques of interconnecting ceramite and had a rugged and oil stained leather aviator hat on her head. Her face was dark skinned and in some occasions the division between where her face ended and the bodysuit started was hard to differentiate. To the unwary onlooker she might even look as a naked person on the far distance. She was the first to come because she was with you on the Command Bridge.
>>
>>43353064
Not long afterwards came Georgius Simonohm a short and stocky man who discharged energy in the mean of electrical arcs every few seconds and seemed to be the leader and guide of the Electro-Priest. He had somehow managed to keep having body hair and even a well trimmed beard despise having his body constantly overcharged with an energy that would have instantly burnt the hair follicles of any other person. As a weaponry he had a mix of an Electrostatic Gauntlet and Electroleech Stave; he always carried with himself a warhammer whose handle was almost as tall as he was and was connected to a massive power generator that was taller than him and at the same time to a series of energy coils that were united to his neck and wrists. He seemed to be an incredibly formidable combatant.

Shortly after came Walthari Wynnstone followed by a couple of servitors and a small cluster of Servoskulls. He was the main leader of the Servitors and their weaponization and maintenance. Looking at him he seemed to be have suffered servitorization too but you weren't sure. His clean shaven head was devoid of any kind of scar or bionic augmentation. He was maybe one of those odd looking people who felt more comfortable around mindless drones than real humans.

Afterwards and lastly came Nathaniella Klains, the trainer and commander of all the regular Skitarius and also the one who controlled and supervised the rest of techpriests. She was somewhat pugdy but also had some muscle on herself, her face was obscured by a strange mask that oddly enough had the face and shape of a fierce lion on its polished surface.

Now that you had meet them all what will you do?

Note: If were going to command this vessel, then we should probably institute mandatory drills for weapons use (guns) and emergancy situations (deamon incursion) so everyone who is not a warrior can at least not die like a total bitch when something inevitably goes wrong.

>Talk with them about their past experiences and abilities.

"Greetings, fellow warriors and emissaries of the Omnissiah's wrath and justice. I have reunited you all here so we can know each other better. It is very possible that some of you, if not all, already know pretty well, but you all are complete strangers for me and likewise I am an stranger for you."

"Not so fast, Heracor, we know who you are. We wouldn't have accepted fighting under the orders of some random Magus." Said the stocky Georgius with a rough voice, oddly enough his mouth spewed electrical arcs as he spoke.

"Indeed, we are here either because our own volition for we have been inspired and touched by your acts or either because the Inquisitor has offered us the job." Added Nataniella.

"I'm here because I want to fight next to you!" Interjected once again Georgious, it seemed that he felt nervous if he wasn't the one who had the last word.

Feeling like a hero was something new to you. You liked it thought, it felt rewarding after all the pain you had to come across.
>>
>>43354113

"Very well, can you please tell me about your combat style I wish to know how will you fight once you are deployed on the Battlefield."

"Support and Attrition! My men and I have fought against the unspeakable and more and have descended into the jaws of hell and returned from them! We debilitate the enemy with lighting attacks! We are the incoming storm and when we reach we unload our payload of electrify against the enemy! I also have units specialized in mechanical sabotage! My men and I will ride the Lighting under your orders!" Said the Electro-Priest leader as he started to glow and sent several energy sparks all around, people moved away from him and seemed to be pretty displeased with his aggressive attitude and sole presence.

"I have plenty experience aerial domination I have flew over many planets, I don't care what their temperature, atmospheric composition is, or how heavy their gravity is, as long as I have a place to take of and land I will fly. I will cross the skies with my cloud-breakers and send a flatten the ground before the enemy can even react. I usually act as a vanguard before the rest of the armies and debilitate their structures or armies before the ground armies arrive. Other missions that I can do are exploration and scouting. Our eyes can see everything from up above and so high we feel truly free." Said Campiní, the Spaceship and Plane pilot.

"I command the regular Skitarii. I can do all kind of menial tasks pretty efficiently, so far my experience has always been as support of Imperial regiments whose great dimensions dwarfed the number of my own men, I see this as a chance to stand out and make those warriors proud once again! My men will be the tip of the sword that will strike down sire. I will make sure of it!"

"I...I guide the servitors towards the enemy and can act on support, defensive and offensive missions. That's it." Finally said the weird Walthari, who spoke for the first time with a whispering mumble.
>>
>>43354132
"How many warriors do we have in total?" You asked, to see how extensive your army was.

"6200 Electro-Priests, 7550 Skitarii, 5000 combat capable techpriests, 120 Gun-Servitors, 20 Ironstrider riders, 30 Airship crew, 6 Onager Dunecrawler crew, 20 Tank crew." Automatically answered one of Walthari's servitors.

>Ask them what their missions are, they might not know about your infiltration objective.

"So, what's your mission in here?" You asked, somewhat dubious.

"Well...follow your missions and protect you at all cost. That's what why are we here right?"
>>
>>43354156
They all nodded. It seemed that they didn't knew the true nature of their mission. It could be better this way but if they knew what were they heading into they might be more ready to face the possible daemon invasion.

He's indeed the weakest of them all, he doesn't knows what true pain and war is because all he has done so far has been send his servitors to do the dirty work. Win and train him into a true warrior. Transmit the combat over the screens to boost the morale and make your warriors lean more to your cause.

>Tell them that there may be corruption on Telematha but don't be too specific.

"Indeed, but our journey to the forge world of Telematha might have another reason. We have great suspects of something dark happening inside its walls and Fabricatoriums. Something big and dangerous."

They all looked at you but you only returned a stern look that indicated that they shouldn't question it more. To try to break the awkward silence that formed you decided to speak with Nathaniella.

>Offer Nathaniella to fight you. She's seems to be a good combatant and eager to fight for your cause. Tell her that you also started as a mere Skitarii and that if she continues fighting she will be able to become a hero like you. "Nathaniella, do you consider yourself a good fighter?"

"Yes I do sire! I am pretty adept with the power fist and the Bolt Pistol."

Bolt Pistol and Power fist, just like Oihan you thoguth to yourself, you reminded the time that she fought you completely armless and still won by headbutting you to the ground. About 15 years had passed since that moment but it was still completely inscribed on your brain. Hopefully she would fight as Oihan did and you would have some tactical advantage.

"What about me? Do you consider me a good combatant?"

"W-well of course! I haven't seen your martial prowess in real life but I am sure you are an excellent fighter!"
>>
>>43354755
"Why don't we try it out? You and I in the training arena. You see, you remind me of when I was a mere Skitarii, armed with only a chainsword and a lasgun. I want to know how you might do against somebody like me."

"..." She became speechless

"Think of it as a test. Even if you lose you will show your Skitarii to face the danger and also prove me your bravery...It will be nonlethal, I promise."

"I...I saw your fight against the Eldar. You were so brave and strong. I want to be like you...I accept!"

Shortly afterwards you were walking with her and being followed by a great sum of warriors and techpriests towards the Skitarii training ground. There wasn't enough space for everybody so a great chunk of the total personnel that could afford stop their work for some time had to see it by connecting themselves to a cogitator or by looking across one of the many pict-screens.

To make it somewhat fair you had to choose what weapons fight with:

>Plasma Gun: It has been equipped with one underpowered hydrogen fuel cell that will extend its possible shoots but barely damage her.
>Power Sword: Deactivated power sword and covered with a protective layer that will make its edges dull and nonlethal.
>Phospor and Arc Pistols: Once again equipped with underpowered and ammo. They will sting but not really damage her.
>Fists: Combat weaponless to show your own unnarmed ability.
>Fully stripped: Remove all your dendrites, armor and weapons and fight her only equipped with a plain mechanicus robe. Teach her that weapons aren't all to achieve victory.

>How much is everyone looking forward t the fight?
We are well know for our combat prowess, as I said a lot of techpriests and most of the warriors left their duties to see the fight.

The ones who haven't joined to expect it are either because their work is vital and cannot leave their place ( for example scanner observers or navigators ) or either because they aren't interested.

I would say that about 75% of the ship ( excluding servitors ) are going to look at the fight.
