You are Jareth, Disciple of Elshhu, adventurer, and unsuccessful ratslayer. Admittedly that last part is with good reason, since you're not at all eager to find out whether there was exaggeration involved when the greater demon bound within said rat used the phrase 'fiery maelstrom of death' to describe what would happen upon the death of his rodent host.

So here you are with your party in the tunnels under some dingy tenements with a morbidly obese rat carried atop a pillow by his gremlin worshippers, ready to try and snatch back the magic stone binding Grulax the Corpulent to this realm from the halfling slum lord's infernalist daughter and her cult. All in all this has been one of the more entertaining days.

Unfortunately, it seems that Licie, despite your getting along so well, has sent some of her cultists to kill Grulax, and possibly you along with him. Right now, if Iden's ghost's recon is to be believed, there's a handful of them lying in wait for you in the apartment above the hole, and the apartment's tenant, Scabs, is being held at knifepoint. While Scabs may be a creepy little weirdo with a particularly unique body odor, you'll be damned if he isn't good at growing on one, yet another trait that the scraggly elf shares with fungal infections, you suppose.

So the question now is how you proceed with the attack, preferably without the cultists' captive getting a knife in the neck, or any of your party suffering a grim fate for that matter. For one thing, getting up through the hole is going to take some effort for every member of your group save for you, you're not even sure how the gremlins carrying Grulax intended to get up there at all.

LETS GET DIS SPOOKY SHIT STARTED!
>>
>>43389650
I AM PREPARED FOR SPOOKINESS

I vote we try and spook the thugs with spooky ghosts and other necromantic things like reanimating any dead things and sending them ahead.

When they're good and spooked we jump up there and beat them up....

spookily.
>>
>>43389650
have the others wait here, go up there and BTFO the cultists, starting with the one holding the elf at knife point, then hold them off until the others can get up the ladder.
>>
Does bone chick have any bones to animate and how stealthy can they be?

Alternatively how spooky and distracting can they be?
>>
>>43389650
Good day, Lordy.
Are you looking forward to DD?
>>43389650
>Have Valia poke her head out, make her teleport Scabbs down here, and teleport us up there.
Maybe have Iden send one of his ghosts up there to spook(heh, how appropriate) the hostiles up there so Valia can do her thing safely.
We'll beat the shit out of them if we have to.

Also, I forgot, did we get any mana from Licie?
>>
>>43389739
>sending up skellingtons
Far too spooky. We don't want to scare scabs to death after all.
>>
>>43389744
We were already full on mana from fucking our sister.
>>
>>43389739
Judging by the small pouch on her belt you're guessing she has a few small bones about her person for reanimation purposes, probably left over from those little monsters you fought in your first adventure. Since they're small, they should be pretty sneaky, and since they have big teeth, they should be pretty distracting.

>>43389744
>Are you looking forward to DD?
Sure am.

>Also, I forgot, did we get any mana from Licie?
You did, you're currently on 48/52 mana.
>>
I missed two threads, what am I missing?
>>
>>43389767
The ability to read the archive.
>>
>>43389767
Fuck a slutty halfling, met bro-tier-relative-to-most-demons greated demon of Gluttony Grulax, now we're going to steal a stone from the halfling we fucked so we don't have to blow up a couple blocks of the city to send Grulax back to the demon realm.
>>
>>43389762
Then I vote we have her send up spooky skeletons to stealth attack the guy holding the hostage to prevent him turning him swiss, then once he's prevented and the others are spooked by the distraction, we jump up and attack while the others get up as fast as possible (Valia teleports if that would work).
>>
>>43389801
That was only one thread. We also went full romance on Rihara.
>>
>>43389802
So basically >>43389744 just with skeletons instead of ghosts and without Valia teleporting us up, for some reason, even though that'd be quicker?
I say do ghosts because those are sneakier and don't have to go through the hole, so Valia can have enough space to stick her head out.
>>
>>43389821
>even though that'd be quicker?
It wouldn't. Even sticking her head out takes time and is pretty obvious, and we don't know whether we would be able to immediately have our bearing and attack effectively compared to using our own power.
>>
>>43389821
You realise the hole is above head height right? We'd have to lift her just for her to get her head high enough.
>>
>>43389839
>pretty obvious
Which would make them think we don't know they're they and are coming up? And they wouldn't except us to drop in from nowhere anyway, plus I doubt they'd notice Valia that easily while being distracted by ghosts.
>>
>>43389854
Wait, you want to wait till the attack is already happening, then lift her up so she can stick he head high enough to maybe teleport us? That's ridiculously slow compared to jumping out the second they're attacked and distracted.
>>
It says right there in the OP that it would take effort to get out for anyone not us.
>>
Can ghost even attack effectively compared to more physical stuff? All the basic ones he's summoned did was scout, and the only more powerful one we know he has drains him completely.
>>
Man, this fucking awful color scheme makes it really hard to follow peoples' posts, I guess I'm just not used to it or something.

Right, so by the looks of it there are a couple of things people want to do. You want to send something up to distract people, and then you either want Jareth to jump up and start beating the shit out of people, or have Valia peek up through the hole (which would require someone giving her a boost, either Jareth or both Iden and Razi working together).

So let's vote on it.

>Send up Seffi the ghost to distract the cultists
>Send up Razi's skeleton to distract the cultists

and

>Jareth jumps up and attacks
>Boost Valia up to teleport Scabs away
>>
>>43389926
>>Send up Razi's skeleton to distract the cultists
>>Jareth jumps up and attacks
>>
>>43389926
>>Send up Seffi the ghost to distract the cultists
>>Send up Razi's skeleton to distract the cultists
Why the fuck not both?
>>Boost Valia up to teleport Scabs away
This gets him to safety faster and more safely, if we can't get the guy holding him at knifepoint fast enough he could easily slit his throat.
>>
>>43389926
>>Send up Razi's skeleton to distract the cultists
>>Jareth jumps up and attacks
>>
>>43389945
>if we can't get the guy holding him at knifepoint fast enough he could easily slit his throat.
That's literally the whole point of the attack before we attack. If it doesn't manage to stop that he could just slit his throat anyway, and if we try and teleport him away before it they could see her and slit his throat.
>>
>>43389801
Thank you kind anon.

And embarrassment is an emotion, along with all the other things Iden would be feeling, which is more than she would feel in that situation. We got tons from kissing Rihara in a similar situation of emotional conflict.

“Razi, you're still carrying some bones around, right?” you ask, glancing over at the girl as she reaches down for the rattling pouch at her belt.

She pulls up the bag, upending its contents onto her outstretched hand, the bones of one of the tower's creatures clattering as they collect on her palm.

“You're still carrying that around?” Iden asks, frowning as his sister's palm starts to flicker with pulses of ghostly mana.

“So here's the plan. Razi, you send that thing up there to distract them, and while they're distracted I jump up, rescue Scabs, and when we beat the hell out of them,” you explain, as the pile of bones in Razi's palm assemble into a mostly-complete skeleton. The small dog-sized creation clings to Razi's forearm, its teeth snapping at the air as she idly scratches the back of its head with a finger.

“Fine, just try not to break it,” Razi sniffs, stretching her arm up as high as it'll go, the little skeleton hopping up onto the edge of the hole, scrabbling up into the kitchen.

“Have a little faith in me, Razi, I am pretty damn good,” you smirk, shrugging, hopping on your toes to limber up as you wait for the sounds of distress from above.

“Uh, guys, are you going to be coming up soon, they're-... I mean, I'm getting kinda impatient?” Scabs' voice calls from the room above. Before you can reply however, Razi's skeletal distraction finds its mark, a surprised howl echoing from above.

“What is this, oh fuck it's in my trouser leg, get it out get it out,” a gruff voice cries, sounds of shuffling feet and crashing carrying from the apartment.

That's your cue, you crouch down, feeling the mana sparking through your limbs, pooling at your feet. With a ripple of displaced air and a cloud of dust you spring up through the hole, taking in the situation above quickly.

>>43390641
There's six of them, four men, two women, all dressed in regular everyday clothing, most likely tenants in the block. One of the man is on his back, desperately trying to stop the large shape tearing its way up the inside of his trouser leg, flailing around in a pile of toppled stacks of books and dirty cutlery. Two of the others are trying to help him, and the other three watch on, staring wide-eyed at the situation unfolding before them. One of the three watching, a large and somewhat overweight man, has Scabs held in his grip, the point of a knife resting against the elf's throat.

You cross the distance in two steps, lashing out with a fist. The man holding Scabs turns just as you reach him, but too late to act, the knife clattering to the ground as he tries to drive the blade into Scabs' throat, a look of puzzlement spreading over his features for the few seconds before his brain registers the broken bones of his forearm. You follow it up with another strike to the face, squashing his nose flat and sending him crashing to the ground with a strangled yelp of surprise and pain.

“Oh shit,” one of the others eloquently adds, as you twist around and drive a heel into his jaw, knocking him spinning into the wall.

One of the women swings a cudgel at you as the cultists finally gather their wits, the heavy wood whistling over your head as you duck, sweeping her legs out from under her and sending her crashing to the ground to meet Scabs' moldering food scraps and dirty underwear face to face.

>>
>>43390657
It's quickly becoming obvious to you as you sidestep a wild lunge and drive a knee up into the face of another of the cultists that these are not trained fighters. They really are just what they look like, locals that Licie's drawn into her cult. Of course you're starting to wonder whether that was entirely of their own free will, when the last cultist still conscious (and not desperately trying to keep a toothy skeletal monster away from his testicles) decides to take a swing at you too, rather than making herself scarce.

“Really?” you shrug, knocking the cleaver from her hand with a quick jab, following it up with another strike to the solar plexus, the cultist folding up into a pained ball on the ground.

“All clear,” you call, pausing to knock the struggling cultist out with a boot to the face as you wait for the rest of the party to join you.

“That was easy,” Iden comments, glancing around at the collapsed cultists.

“I think these were just locals Licie tricked into joining her cult, probably with magic,” you shrug, as Scabs picks himself up, rubbing at his neck.

“Wait, so... uh, does that mean, she had sex with all of them?”

“Probably, if she did to them what she was trying to do to me.”

“Woah, really, that's hot,” Scabs grins, peering down at one of the unconscious women.

“Hey, that's Julie, she lives four doors down. Can't believe she dyked out with Licie and I missed it,” the elf sighs, as Julie groans quietly to herself in her half-conscious state.

“So now what?” Razi asks, holding out a hand to let the skittering skeletal creature running her leg come back to rest on her forearm.

“The infernalist harlot's ritual chamber is five floors up. She has many more of these feeble cultists at her beck and call however,” Grulax comments, the corpulent rat and his gremlins making their way across the room, leaving you to ponder how he managed to get up through the hole.

“Um, w-we should be careful not to hurt them too badly, it- it's not their fault really,” Valia comments.

“I'm not getting stabbed because I'm trying to go easy on them,” Razi frowns, Iden nodding in agreement with his sister.

You sigh, dropping an arm over each of their shoulders as you step between the two, Iden freezing up immediately, while Razi gives you an annoyed look, though she makes no move to remove you.

“No-one's saying you have to let them kill you. If it's you or them, then do what you've got to do, but at least try to do this in a less bloody way first, okay?” you smile.

“I guess I could try, since you and Valia asked,” Iden mumbles, toe nudging the ground awkwardly.

“Fine, whatever,” Razi sniffs, rolling her eyes.

“Appreciate it,” you grin, squeezing the siblings' shoulders for a moment before releasing them, giving Valia a wink which the sorceress meets with an appreciative smile.

“So uh, I'm just going to stay here then. Maybe tie them up, I dunno, you guys got any rope?” Scabs asks, glancing around his slightly more trashed than usual apartment.

“I... don't think so, no,” Iden frowns.

“S'alright, I'll improvise. Good luck, and if you see anything really hot up there, don't forget to tell your new friend Scabs all about it, eh?” the elf grins, giving you a thumbs up.

“Right, Iden, you send a ghost on ahead to make sure we aren't going to get ambushed, then we push for the top,” you nod, Worper muttering something about how much he hates all of you before drifting out through the wall.

“So, anything else we should watch out for?” you ask, addressing the bloated rat as he lounges on the pillow scratching idly at his belly.

“Not really, Licie's magic is focused upon control and summoning, both of which take time and effort. Any one of you should be more than capable of overpowering her,” Grulax explains, letting out a squeaky belch.

You wait a while, the balding ghost soon returning. By the sound of it, the cultists are reading themselves to defend the stairways and corridors all the way from here to the chamber. You suppose Licie must've realised her cultists aren't coming back.

“Okay, let's do this,” you grin, bursting out through the door and taking off towards the stairs, keeping your pace slow enough not to leave behind the less athletic members of the group.

The cultists outside are more of the same, men and women, ranging from teenage to middle-aged and all looking to be regular tenants in the apartment block. They launch themselves at you with singular purpose, brandishing all manner of cheap weaponry, threatening to overwhelm you. Of course, this being a ratty, cramped apartment block, they really can't do so, and all that actually ends up happening is that you and your party bludgeon your way through the press of cultists without any real hardship, save the occasional tinge of guilt every time you knock one of the idiots out cold.

You burst out onto the fifth floor at last, Iden and Razi right behind you, Valia bringing up the rear, the sorceress red faced and puffing heavily. More cultists block your path, and you smash a swung chair to pieces against your arm before slamming the man face-first into the wall, another cultist going down as Valia drops him through the floor and out of the ceiling to crash down hard on the now once again solid floorboards.

“It's this room here,” Grulax explains, his gremlins chittering excitedly as you rush for the chamber, smashing the door in with your boot, pinning the unfortunate cultist hiding behind it to the floor in the process.

(cont)
>>
>>43391510
“You... you beat up my entire cult?” a familiar voice gasps, you and your party stepping into the room to face the remaining cultists, all clustered around the tiny figure of Licie.

“Your first mistake was assuming that I'm now equally amazing in all aspects of my existence,” you shrug, the gaudy halfling girl stomping her foot furiously on the floor in a manner that just comes across as rather adorable given her size.

“You should've just done what I said, you really think that stupid rat's on the level? Huh? What did he tell you? That killing him would blow up the whole block? Bullshit, he just doesn't want to get banished, he wants the stone so he can free himself somehow,” she snaps, gesticulating wildly as she speaks, sending her gold jewelry jangling against her impressive cleavage.

“So why not tell us this, rather than trying to kill us?” Iden frowns.

“Because I panicked, okay, I summoned a demon and I didn't want to get in trouble, okay. If you let him have the stone though, we're all going to be in a ton of trouble.”

“The harlot is just trying to trick you, Jareth. Only now when her defeat is at hand does she so much as mention this supposed plan of mine, a desperate ruse is what it is,” Grulax snorts, rolling onto his front and fixing his beady eyes on the infernalist.

I don't understand why people actually voted to trust a greater demon who'd love nothing more than to consume everything in existence than some smalltime infernalist slut.

Grulax is a rat.
He's like 2 feet tall.
>>
“He doesn't want me to give him the stone, he wants me to break it,” you explain, keeping an eye on the cultists as you speak.

“Yeah, well, that'll probably just free him from the binding, he's a greater demon, he can probably avoid going back, at least for long enough to do a lot of damage,” Licie snaps.

“Whole lot of probably there. Sorry Licie, I'm going to have to side with the infernal nightmare formed of human excess here, even if you do have a nice ass,” you shrug.

“Fine, fuck you, this is what I get for expecting adventurers to have common sense,” Licie spits, folding her arms.

“Give it up, child, these cultists aren't enough to stop them,” Grulax snorts, as the ragtag remnants of the cult start to step forward.

“Hmm, then I guess it's time for the hero to make his entrance,” a deep voice echoes out through the room.

There's a moment's silence, the echo fading, and then an almighty crash, a section of the roof caving in as a figure smashes straight down through from the floor above, forcing you to hold up your arm against the clouds of dust and dirt dislodged by the dramatic entrance.

You bring your arm down to a rather unexpected sight, and probably a bad one judging by how Licie is hopping up and down clapping her hands together excitedly. A man stands in the middle of the rubble of the caved in section of ceiling, sweeping a hand across the blue skin of his bare chest to brush away the dust. He smirks a sharp-canined grin, eyebrow quirked beneath his short black horns, the muscles of his chest rippling as he stretches. An incubus... figures.

“That is of course, provided you would all prefer to waste time on fighting, perhaps there's still time to reach an... agreement,” the incubus purrs, holding his arms up above his head and flexing.

He... does make a good point, I mean hell, you're a Disciple of Elshhu, why are you worrying about fighting when there's better ways you could be solving this, right?

“Woah now, you get your sexy adventuring party, this one's taken,” you sigh, shaking your head.

“You sure about that, big guy?” the Incubus smirks, the cultists parting as he steps forward, undersized loincloth hiding absolutely nothing as he walks.

“Jareth, I think we may have an issue,” Razi comments, putting a hand on your shoulder.

“So, uh, so how would this... agreement work?” Iden asks, taking a shaky step forward, his pale cheeks flushed as he starts to fumble with the buttons of his shirt, erection straining against his leggings.

“That's simple, we all celebrate your induction into the cult with a good old-fashioned orgy, what do you say?” the incubus grins, thrusting out his hips.

“I, um, I- I've never been in an orgy before, I can't wait,” Valia chirps, the eyes half-lidded as she starts to tug at her robes.

“First though, I guess we've got a couple of unfun individuals who're going to need a little more persuading,” the incubus sneers.

“Gods, of all the time for Iden to come out of the closet,” Razi snarls, readying her sword as the incubus and the cultists close in.

This day has taken a turn for the worse it seems. With the incubus, the cultists and Iden and Valia against you, you're going to need to act quickly to avoid being overwhelmed, especially having burned through so much mana already.

“Um, th-there's really no reason to fight, Jareth, I- I'm sure you can join in too, um, w-when the master's done, it'll be fun,” Valia smiles, turning to you.

“Yeah, come on, why're the two of you trying to ruin this?” Iden frowns, his shirt hanging halfway off his shoulders.

“This is a pretty sick situation where I'm forced to be the voice of reason. So, sorry about this,” you sigh, spinning around to land a surprise strike on Iden.

You really do not enjoy it one bit, first hammering into his stomach, dropping the lithe necromancer to the ground gasping and clutching at his belly.

You turn next to take down Valia, but unfortunately, while Valia's combat skills may be next to nil, she moves remarkably quickly when she's panicked. You find your fist blinking out just in front of her, hearing a gasp of surprise as Valia's blind redirection of your attack brings it straight into one of the cultists. Better than nothing you suppose, but not by much.

Razi jumps in, trying to catch Valia on the back of the head with the pommel of her sword, but Valia once again avoids it, this time disappearing through a portal to reappear on the far side of the room.

“I- I really don't want to fight you two, um, just... just surrender, please, it'll be better that way” she whimpers, starting to idly tug at her robes once more.

“She's right you know. Don't worry, I've got enough love for all four of you,” the incubus grins. You narrowly avoid a strike, his fist leaving a crack in the apartment wall as you deflect it. That looks like it would've hurt.

“Razi, you go deal with Valia before she starts throwing portals all over the damn place.”

“Got it, be careful,” she nods, damn, that almost sounded like concern.

Ducking under a swipe from a cultist's dagger, she slices at his leg as she darts past, dropping him to the ground wailing. He won't die, but he's going to be feeling that for a long time.

“Hey now, you bring that tight little ass back here,” the Incubus grins, turning to try and grab Razi before she can escape his reach. You're not going to let him get his way this time though, and you force him back onto the defensive with a jab, the incubus drawing his arms up back to catch your blow across the back of his forearms.

“Woah big guy, no need to get all violent with me, I'm just trying to make sure we all have fun,” he smirks, lashing out at you with his fist, a strike you duck under, hammering an elbow into his midsection. The incubus grunts with pain, tensing his obnoxiously overdeveloped muscles and throwing in some flexing for good measure.

“Now I hope you understand, I'm not opposed to fun...”

You sidestep a blow, catching one of the cultists by the wrist and spinning the confused man into the incubus, staggering him and opening him up for a couple of hard jabs to the shoulder before he can toss the unfortunate cultist aside.

“...or orgies for that matter, in fact I love them...”

The incubus lunges forward, trying to lock you into a bearhug, but light on your feet as you've been feeling lately, you plant a palm on his lowered head, hopping up and over his wild charge, kicking off hard from the back of his head for good measure.

>>
>>43394715
“...I hope one day to have a big group of friends and loved ones I can get into a big pile with and really express that free love, guess I'm just a romantic like that...”

The incubus spins around, bringing a hard backhand to your face. You feel the wind whistling by as you backstep, hopping back in with a kick his side, which he blocks on his oversized arm.

“...but this right here, this isn't free love, this is some mind control bullshit that you're pulling on my friends...”

You swat aside another strike with both hands, the incubus momentarily losing his balance. You slam a shin into the side of his knee, making him stumble to one knee, grabbing hold of those two handy hand holds atop his head as he falls.

“...so right now, this is how I'm going to have fun,” you smirk, driving your knee up into his face once, twice, three times before you lose your grip, hopping back away as he swings wildly at you.

“Ahh, that was really uncalled for, you-” the Incubus starts, rubbing at his face as he stands. Guy can take a beating.

“You... you... you... What did you do?” he shrieks, his calm demeanour breaking down as he realizes.

“My bad, barely touched it and it just came off in my hand. I'm sure you can relate,” you grin, flicking the broken horn back at him as the incubus starts to tremble with rage.

Well, you've made him angry. Which is probably a good thing, you know enough about demonology to know that lust demons, unlike some other types, generally don't do well when they stop thinking calmly.

You hear an 'eep' from the other side of the room. Valia hopping through another portal as Razi pursues her. While Razi doesn't seem to be able to pin down Valia, she is at least keeping her busy enough that she can't help the incubus, which works out just fine for you.

“Hey now, don't be upset, you weren't going to be impressing anyone with a little thing like that anyway,” you shrug, bringing your fist up to backhand a cultist as he tries to sneak up on you.

“I guess that's why you need the mind control, right? To make up for other... failings.”

“I am a lust demon, my dick is huge, fuck you,” the incubus roars, lashing out at you as you duck and weave around his punches, the force of the blows starting to smash through the wall behind you.

“When's the last time you were with someone you weren't controlling?”

The incubus opens his mouth and you cut him off. “Licie doesn't count, of course she's going to tell you you're good, she summoned you. Let's face it, it doesn't matter how big it is, you've got no technique.”

He grabs for you, and you sidestep it, slamming a quick, sharp jab into his elbow, making the incubus howl.

“You mind control people just so that they'll tell you you're great, when you're not. That's kind of sad, friend,” you smirk, shrugging as he bellows with rage, his calm persona completely collapsing.

“I'm an incubus, I'm the best, better than you, look at my dick, look at it,” he roars, yanking aside his undersized loincloth as if you couldn't see his big blue dick dangling around under it beforehand. He's not wrong about it being huge, he's also kind of dumb to give you such a large target.

“Wow, it really is huge,” you frown, nodding sagely, a triumphant grin spreading across the incubus' face.

(cont)
>>
>>43395765
It's kind of impressive how the grin freezes in place, the only signs of pain a slight watering at the edge of the eyes and a quiet whine escaping from between clenched teeth as you bring a boot up straight into the incubus' prize jewels.

“and now look at that, the swelling's making it even bigger.”

The incubus gives an incoherent shriek, leaping at you with arms outstretched, spittle and mucus running down his face.

“You really aren't all that smart, are you?” you smirk, stepping to the side, grabbing hold of his arm as he passes and putting all your weight into speeding up his lunge, the incubus colliding with the rickety wall, already cracked and crumbling from his earlier assault.

There's a crash as he smashes straight through it, and a momentary look of confusion on his face as he realizes his predicament, five stories above the rocky street below. He drops like a rock, head first into the cobbles, a loud crack signalling his abrupt stop. You watch his physical form start to fade away, one foot still twitching slightly as he blinks out of existence.

“W-what, oh no, why did I do that?” a voice yelps, Valia suddenly stopping her panicked evasion of Razi, turning bright red and a little tearful, her bottom lip trembling. If Valia is free now, you can only assume that Iden is too, though the poor guy is still collapsed on the floor clutching at his stomach. Maybe you hit him a little too hard.

Looking around, it seems the fight is over. The cultists knocked out by you and Razi or, you now see, a few having been overwhelmed by the gremlins, Licie spitting and cursing as four of Grulax's little minions keep her pinned to the ground.

“Razi, can you check on Iden?” you ask, crossing the room, sparing a glance over to Grulax and Licie, who are still both thankfully within your sight.

Valia seems to be trying to undo her earlier efforts to loosen her robes, sniffling a little as she tries to unbunch them.

“I- I- I- I-” is all she gets out as she looks up and sees you.

“Okay, it's okay. Could've happened to anyone, you didn't do anything bad,” you smile, drawing the sorceress into a hug which she returns with an impressively steely grasp, her soft body pressing up against yours pleasantly.

“I- I'm really sorry, Jareth. I let you down, I- um, I just...”

“Don't worry about it,” you chuckle, bringing a hand up to smooth down the back of her hair as she clings to you.

“You sounded pretty excited for that orgy though,” you continue, hearing a quiet yelp from Valia as you grin.

“I- I wasn't, I, um, I just... I maybe wondered just once or twice, um, but not like- um, maybe more with, with, people I kn-. I, um, that is, I, I think maybe that would be a bit extreme for me right now. I still haven't even...”

That set her adorable panicked rambling into full swing. You give a quiet laugh, bringing one hand down to rest against her plush buttock.

“No worries, we can start with the basics.”

“I- um, I'd like that,” Valia mumbles.

“First though, let's try and get this whole demon situation resolved,” you grin, finally breaking off the hug after one last pat to Valia's backside, Valia biting her lip in a failed attempt to hide a little smile.

“The stone should be through that door at the back, in her sanctum,” Grulax explains, pointing his whiskery snout towards your destination.

“You're making a big mistake, you know that, right?” Licie snaps, yelping in pain as one of the gremlins silences her by prodding at her back with a gnarled fingernail.

“Quit crying you big baby, it was just one punch,” you hear Razi sniff, crouched down over Iden.

“I'm not crying, and stop poking it,” Iden wheezes, trying to shoo away his sister's insistent prodding of his stomach as he picks himself up shakily.

“Damn Jareth, I knew you hit hard, but I feel like I just got blindsided by an angry troll,” he groans, giving you a pained smile. At least he doesn't seem to be holding a grudge or anything.

“Sorry about that, I did try to hold back,” you shrug, Razi and her brother wandering over to join you, Iden still resting a hand against his stomach.

When will Razzle-fazzle finally get her nuzzle-snuggle with Jareth?
>>
Yeah. I'd feel way better if someone with knowledge on the topic of demons could guide us here.

What Licie says DOES hold some rationale to it.

No worries, we'll have a second thread.

Indeed it does.
But we should be careful how to handle this.
We can't let her get too close to the stone in case she tries to manipulate Grulax or rebind him.
But we also can't just break the stone.

Personally I like her tsun and hopes she keeps it though. I hope the eventual twincest threesome involves lots of teasing of Iden from her end.

Hey, how fucked is licie when all those people wake up?
>>
“Hey Iden, show me the bruise quickly,” you smile, turning to your pained party member.

“Uh, okay, it's not that big of a deal,” he nods, lifting his shirt to show the angry purple mark against the pale skin of his flat stomach.

“Hold still, this'll only take a moment,” you grin, placing a hand on Iden's shoulder to keep him from making a panicked escape, pressing your other palm up against his stomach.

“Jareth, um, what're you?”

He winces a little at first, though you see his cheeks start to flush as the pleasant tingle of the healing mana sets in, his eyes going dreamy as he looks up at you. You remove your hand after a few moments, the angry bruise now gone entirely, Iden finally breaking eye contact to look down.

“Thanks Jareth, that was, uh, so you can heal, huh?”

“Sure can, you ever need me to lay my hands on you again, you just have to ask,” you grin, patting the squirming necromancer on the shoulder and turning your attention back to the other matter at hand.

“Okay, Grulax, you wait here, I'm going to go take a look,” you nod, wandering over to the door, pushing through it.

“How unfortunate, and here I was hoping we had built up more of a bond of trust than that,” Grulax grumbles, though you'd swear you catch a slight lack of seriousness in his tone. Maybe he's just giddy at the prospect of impending freedom.

The inside is about what you'd expect from a amateur infernalist's sex cult headquarters and sanctum. A king sized bed with very soiled sheets opposite you, every piece of free wall covered in erotic art and strange symbols, and an untidy desk piled high with books, strange magical curios, a little stack of cages down to one side of it holding an assortment of rats, pigeons, chickens and gremlins which are raising a shrieking cacophony after the noise outside.

It doesn't take you long to spot the binding stone sitting on the desk, a little flat red stone the size of your palm carved with infernal runes.

Take it, bring it out, tell Licie to tell us the truth.
Maybe let her try to banish him, if she tricks us than break some bones.
Maybe look through the books, see if we find anything on how unsummoning works.

The whole Licie thing is a stupid idea.
There's just as big a chance that shenanigans during whatever we can talk Licie into doing unleashes the demon as there are when we smash it.

We made a deal with the guy, demons have to keep their deals and all talking with Licie is going to accomplish is giving anons another chance to blow the last of our mana on convincing her.
>>
Nobody wants a second opinion from someone who might be a bit more trustworthy and knows what they're talking about before we do anything with it?
>>
>>43396677
>Smash it
>>
Smash it, we can trust Licie just as much as that demon.
>>
>>43396871
We can't go around asking for infernalists
>>43396907
Licie's most desired goal isn't to consume all life on the planet, anon.
>>43396857
Were we ever told that demons HAVE to keep their word?
>>
>>43396871
We already went over this with our party and you reading books on summoning actually takes a lot of time because books are actually entire books and therefor contain more than a single easy to understand passage on exactly the topic you need.
>>

I had completely forgotten about her, thank you anons for reminding me.
>>
>>43397070
Or they didn't really want to involve someone we have no reason to trust that much, is primarily concerned with her own profit, would take who knows how long to reach, while we are unable to secure either involved party all that well without splitting the party, and would drag this entire sidequest out even further.
>>
Actually, let's put this to another final vote, since it's all gotten a little confusing with changing votes and whatnot.

It's not like we're handing it to her and telling her who it binds, we're just trying to get at least an idea from a separate independent party of how the fuck it works.
>>
>>43397291
>>43397211
Yeah, it's not like any infernalist is completely trustworthy.

We just don't want to risk blowing up the city block. Ask what happens when you destroy a binding stone that has bound a demon of great power or something.

Okay. Askadians it is.

Writing.

Next post will be in a new thread, if we drop off page 10 in the meantime, check twitter for the second thread link.
