"Today you shall be tested. We are watching, Jadyk Lich-Lord. Impress us."

The words buzz around you like a swarm of insects. You stand in the airless silent void of the moon of Horizon's Drop but still the words of the Masked reach you, buzzing through your very bones.

Below you in the moonbase one of your enslaved pirates jumps as a console starts to beep in warning. One of the small satellites connected to the System Sensor network detects a twisting of gravity and space further out than the distant gas giant. Once the light reached the satellite your minion watches as light warps and twists in on itself before vomiting forth a gray slab of a cruiser sized ship surrounded by a small fleet of frigates and corvettes.

The Osjiics were right on time you see. The ships start to accelerate towards the system and the gas giant, due to arrive there in only a few hours.

You suspect the Daggers were not far behind and your suspicions were confirmed when only minutes later another alarm sounds. Another sensor satellite closer to the scorched planet turns to show a battlecruiser sized ship blink into being surrounded by a flock of ships of varying size and make. Their massive thrusters light up and the ship lurches into motion, slowly picking up speed as it aims itself towards the gas giant, seemingly completely passing your planet.

You are tempted to sit back and let them grind each other into space dust but the words of the mysterious Masked entity spurns you on. Turning your attention to your fledgling fleet that bristles with anticipation, the living's emotions a range of fear and apprehension.

This conflict was sure to be difficult but you were never one to turn away from a challenge.

You've been quite busy the last few days, building up your army and fleets. Turning your attention to them you look over the forces you've been hard at work creating.

Awesome! So glad this thread is running today. Its gonna be a good day!

Oh boy, oh boy. Graves, can you tell us how many captured Osijic and Netu dropships and fighters we currently possess?
>>

is it possible to create a battleship?
>>
>>43526499
Not in time for this battle no. With only two Cauldrons it would take much too long and the Think Tanks would have to come up designing one from scratch.

Once you manage to capture or salvage a preexisting one it will be much easier to craft them.
>>
>>43526553
alright I'm looking through the pastbin right now, have a list for you in 10 mins
>>
>>43525944
Alright what does everyone think of this?

50 Nails- 500B 1000M
25 needle pods- 200M
17 Sting pods- 238M
76 Trolls- 912B 228M
5 Necrotic Flayers- 30M (We can give them heavier weapons when we've got more metals)
10 Cyclops w/venom glands- 70B 30M
100 Talons w/necroflensers- 500B 200M
100 Crit crawlers- 300B 500M (50/50 explosive/EM split)
2 Advanced AA towers planet side- 60 M

Total Cost: 2282B 2486M
>>
>>43526609
Whoops, I knew I forgot something. Cyclops now have venom gland standard. Cost: 6B 3M
>>
>>43526609
Use the rest of the Biomass to make standard Talons without flensers for fodder. we can make 158 of them, also convert the dagger fighters to darts as well and all but say 8 dropships to coffins.
>>
>>43526670
I support your plan to create loads of talons, but we should keep our dagger fighters. We already converted most of them, and we can use the ones we have in the upcoming battle.
>>
that leaves us with 793 Biomass and 52 metal

let's make another 15 Catoblepas and a third Advanced AA Gun planetside
>>
>>43526735
You actually haven't converted any of the fighters. Still have 40 of them. Your troops can pilot them but not very well
>>
>>43526735
We have 40 dagger fighters, and have 2 pilots, who will need to drive the dropships. We can't use them.
>>
>>43526771
Last thread I counted and decided among your enslaved there are 23 potential pilots of various skill.
>>
>>43526798
enough for the dagger dropships. Thus we can safely convert the fighters.
>>
>>43526845
Missiles would be included since their fighters are already equipped with them
>>
>>43526869
I say convert 17 ships then.
>>
>>43526869
Good then.

Convert all fighters
158 talons unarmed
plus>>43526609
>>
>>43526915
we have 23 dropships and 40 fighters we ahev 23 pilots. We if we want to ruse the enemy fleets we need to put all our pilots in the dropships. Meaning the fighters are superfluous.
>>
>>43526917
Support all fighters converted. Split the missile types.

Can we equip unarmed talons iwth sting whips since it still doesn't have a price in the pastebin?

Yup. Troops that are not equipped with a ranged weapon can have a Sting Whip by default.

Looks like the general consensus is:

50 Nails- 500B 1000M
25 needle pods- 200M
17 Sting pods- 238M
76 Trolls- 912B 228M
5 Necrotic Flayers- 30M (We can give them heavier weapons when we've got more metals)
10 Cyclops w/venom glands- 70B 30M
100 Talons w/necroflensers- 500B 200M
158 Talons w/sting whips 790B
100 Crit crawlers- 300B 500M (50/50 explosive/EM split)
2 Advanced AA towers planet side- 60 M

Total Cost: 3072B 2486M

Convert 40 Dagger Fightercraft into Nail Fighters with split missile types

We should try to get our crit-crawls into the fight when it starts. We should use our drop ships and maybe have some of them attach to fighters from either faction to sneak them into the fight when it starts? If so, we can hit all of their critical systems at once and disable the ships before one side wrecks the other.

Nails await your order, their pilots awoken and itching for flight as they hide in the shadow of a shattered cliff. Coffins and dropships sit in their hangar, reconstructed soldiers stuffed into their holds with barely any room to move as they wait.

You watch through the eyes of your enslaved minions as they monitor the sensor satellites as the two fleets finally seem to notice each other. The ships spread out, the Osjiic forces slowing and using the bulk of the gas giant to shield themselves from any salvos from the Daggers.

It will still be some time until they are within range of each other over the roiling surface of the gas giant and its moons but your base suddenly receives a message from the Clanship.

The base commander moves to the console and reads the scrolling message. The Clan fleet says they are launching an offensive against the Osjiic Scout Fleet. The message continues saying they will fall back to Horizons Drop and expect reinforcements from the moon and planet bases to ambush any pursuing Osjiic should the battle turn against them.

The way the Crit Crawls drift through space and their small size they are easily ignored as space debris that would normally bounce harmlessly off the hulls of ships moving slow enough. You note with amusement and joy at how the two fleets pass through the clusters of floating Crit Crawlers, the undead crustaceans uncurling just in time to latch onto ships with their thermal pointed legs.

To your relief they even manage to pass through the shields of the Clanship and the Osjiic Cruiser, their shields meant to deflect and vaporize rapidly moving objects like weapon slugs, asteroids, and missiles. At the crawling pace the fleets moved at as they circled the gas giant trying to get a shot on each other they hardly notice the spheres of bone and metal slipping past their shields.

As the Crit Crawlers spread through the fleets and latch one you note with amusement that nearly every larger frigate and corvette in the Dagger Fleet carries at least one of the explosive or electrical constructs while the majority of the Osjiic forces, including their large Cruiser, carry them as well. Using them and the sensor satellites spread through the system you manage to get a decent read on their numbers.

Osjiic Scout Fleet:
>1 Heavy Cruiser
>6 Light Cruisers
>15 Frigates
>30 Corvettes
>Unknown number of fighters and dropships

Dagger Fleet:
>1 Clanship Battlecruiser
>5 Light Cruisers
>25 Frigates
>30 Corvettes
>20 Dropships
>60 Fightercraft

The Crit Crawlers sink their claws into the hulls of the ships and using their electromagnetic senses crawl along the surface towards engines and crucial parts of the ship. They hunker down, sealing themselves against the metal hulls, awaiting your orders.

What shall you do next? The fleets are getting close to launching their first salvos
>>
>>43528464
Detoante the Dagger Fleet, have the moonbase comm in saying they just got done dealing with osjic com interference, sadly too alte to warn of the mines set up. then say they will be flying dropships out to help assist the fleet. Send out our dropships filled with troops to as "recovery teams" then use them to bard the dagger's ships and take them. Meanwhile launch half our Darts out of their sensor nets and have them come along the behind of the Osjic, along with Coffins filled with troops. Once the surprise it out detonate the Osjic and board as well launching the rest of our darts at the Dagger fleet.
>>
>>43528464
Wait for it
Let them pound on each other for a bit then detonate the crits on the dagger fleet to get them to lead the osjiic force to the moon and detonate there crits to cripple both fleets next to the moon so we can board them
>>

You feel the sorrow from your Netu and Osjiic slaves watching the battle about to unfold through their sensors but you watch with what could possibly be glee as the two fleets finally open fire upon each other.

The two fleets finally gain sight of each other quickly fill the space between them with energy beams, missiles and fightercraft. It takes a few minutes but soon ships between to explode and shatter as the salvos finally reach their targets. The shields of the larger ships flicker but hold under the first assault while smaller craft swerve to doge the attacks or are rent to pieces.

Fighters quickly join in an intense dogfight, dodging each other and weapons fire from the larger ships, tearing into each other like blades in the silent darkness of space. You feel a portion of your Crit Crawlers snuffed out as their ships are destroyed but their loss was expected.

It only took several minutes but already each fleet has torn into each other to cause decent wounds against each other but it looked like the Daggers were gaining the upper hand with their larger force. You send a thought to the Crit Crawlers and you feel their ecstasy before they detonate themselves against the engines and shields of the Dagger ships.

Confusion seems to ripple through the fleets as Osjiic weapons fire rip into suddenly injured ships. The Imperials press their attack but find their weapon systems suddenly malfunctioning as Electrical Crit Crawlers pulse their charges against the weapon mounts.

Dagger ships quickly start to fall back toward you and your planet, firing behind them as the Osjiic press their attack. Several crippled Dagger ships are left behind and to your relief you watch as Osjiic Dropships swarm them to release vacuum-sealed soldiers jumping the distance to board the ships.

The Clanship, with engines injured and shields flickering uncertainly, hails your base, requesting the backup and covering fire from the AA Towers once Osjiic enter range.

The hangar doors of the moon base creak open and the Dagger Dropships speed out into space, your minions of netu, human and vorh piloting them. They race past the fleeing Daggers and fire their missiles and weapons at the incoming Osjiic forces.

Weapons fire meets them as the larger ships manage to regain power to their weapons, the Crit Crawls building up their second charge still. You feel the minds of a good portion of the enslaved minions piloting them snuffed out as their dropships explode or are sliced apart by beam fire.

While the sacrifice of your enslaved minions was definitely a blow against you, you are relieved to see that it delayed the Osjiics advanced at least momentarily as they finally start to pass by your moon in pursuit of the Dagger Clanship headed for Horizons Drop.

Your Crit Crawls on the Osjiic fleet hunker down and detonate themselves against the engines and shields of the ships but to your annoyance it only causes minor damage. The Osjiic ships were heavier armored and reinforced than the Daggers but you at least note the shields flicker more often but still hold.

The Advanced AA towers unleash their beams against the Osjiic fleet and combined with a sudden salvo from the Clan Fleet manage to tear through a handful of the Osjiic ships. Several of the remaining ships turn their weapons against the moon and several of the towers are reduced to a smoking crater.

Your remaining Explosive Crit Crawls scattered across the fleets detonate themselves simultaneously, blooms of fire and necrotic energy appearing across their hulls like brief flowers.

The Dagger Clanship's engines finally give out as the Electrical Crit Crawls swarm in where their kin had just detonated, the Osjiics weapons jamming once more as the shelled constructs flood their weapon mounts with energy.

Do you yourself step into battle? Y/N?

The ship totals for their fleets are for their ships still able to fight. The crippled, stranded, and destroyed are still floating out there waiting for salvage.

There are fierce battles occurring on several of the crippled ships as Daggers and Osjiic invade each others ships.

Jadyk boards the Osjiics and Lorgul boards the Daggers. We need to be able to take on the voidsingers and take them prisoner. Instruct Lorgul to take prisoners, especially high ranking officers. Broadcast a surrender message to them before hand, and promise them they will live if they comply with us.

We should obviously board the ships with active combat first, in the confusion we can assert control with minimum trouble.

Your Coffins and Nails speed out from hiding, curving around the moon to descend on the Osjiic fleet from the rear as the towers continue their bombardment. Beams and bolts of necrotic energy fill the void, cracking and sizzling against hulls and shields. The fleet reacts to the new threat, aiming their turrets at the small and quick fighters.

Missiles leave trails behind them before smashing into hulls with small blooms of flame, cracks and breaches in the hulls left in their wake. The Nails tear through the remaining Osjiic fighters and dropships, their chain flensers ripping through them and bubbling their hulls.

You hear a shout of celebration from the Daggers over their comms but they quickly turn to shouts of dismay as the fighters race past the severely injured Osjiic fleet and begin ripping through the Dagger ships as well. Their weapons short and destroy the shields covering both flagships as the electrical crit crawls continue to pulse their shocking attacks.

With the shields down on the Osjiic Heavy Cruiser the coffins containing Lorgul and yourself along with a large detachment of troops rush in. Their doors open and you leap with your soldiers for the cracked hull. Undead fall onto the ship like necrotic rain, thermal glowing claws allowing them to scrabble along the surface and tearing into breaches in the hull.

The remaining coffins fly under guard of a flight of Nails, racing for the Dagger Clanship. Nails skim the hulls of the crippled ships, Talons and Stingers and Trolls dropping down from their undersides like parasites leaping from one host to another.

Your voice, sent through a Talon stationed at comms station flood the airwaves of the two fleets, drowning them out,

"Cease your meaningless conflict and surrender yourselves. I am Jadyk, Lich-Lord of the New Grand Necrotic Armada and I claim these fleets and your lives as mine. Surrender yourselves and you may yet live to witness my glory or you shall all die."

Far below on the surface of Horizons Drop Jor and the Voidsinger stand silently side by side as they watch the flashes of light and explosions in the sky.

Lorgul and yourself break through an airlock as more of the bulkheads seal behind you and finally you can hear again as you reach pressurized portions of the ship. Lorgul glows with void energy leaking out the gaps of his black armor, his footsteps pounding against the floor as he charges down a hall with reconstructed troops following close behind.

Osjiic soldiers step out from alcoves and hallways, firing at the running engine of void energy and rage, their bullets and beams glancing off of him. Flayer beams tear across the armor of the defenders before his maul crushes them under heavy blows.

The Osjiic were a large species and so their ships and hallways were equally large, allowing Lorgul enough room to swing his heavy maul, its speed catching many of the soldiers by surprise as they're crushed against the floors and walls.

Talons leap from wall to wall in the low gravity given by the ships artificial gravity, dodging weapons fire from both sides to tear at and butcher soldiers. Stingers and Trolls march behind their shields, trading fire and advancing down the halls.

Across the gap of space you watch as the other ships are swarmed with your troops, Nails surgically disabling engines and venting hulls but doing their best to keep the ships in one piece. Dagger Pirates throw up a valiant effort against the boarding parties but the ferocity of your forces and the guiding hand of the Think Tanks let the reconstructed soldiers roll across them like a tide of bone and fangs.

Lorgul's voice booms with laughter as he tears his way through the ship with you in his wake. The reborn Voidknight relishing in the bloody conflict but true to his word he does hold his blows, crippling but not killing many of his opponents. There is a sudden explosion as a desperate Osjiic fires a missile at the skeletal general.

You almost start to worry for you minion but clack your jaw in relief as the smoke and fire is sucked into the small sphere of spinning void energy in the voidknights palm before it throws it at the cluster of Osjiic. It strikes the gray skinned aliens but instead of sucking them into a mini-singularity like you had seen before it appears to change the local gravity, throwing or pulling the group of shouting soldiers directly at Lorgul and your forces.

A bulkhead suddenly slides open next to you and a Voidsinger steps through, swinging a hammer down and crushing a handful of Talons and the space you once stood. The Voidsingers skull still held flesh but you can see it burn away as you feel it charging its power. It swings the hammer once more, shattering your shield with an explosion of energy but your spear snakes out, piercing through its chest plate and splitting open. A yank of your arm and the chestpiece is torn open, void energy spilling out like liquid fire.

Lorgul was charging back towards you but your hand plunges into the hole in its arm and you grasp the burning core of void energy. It struggles against you but you flood it with necrotic energy, your voice shouting at the pain and effort of it. The voidsinger collapses to its knees and you kick it back, your hand pulled from it with a fistful of vertebrae. Your necrotic energy consumes the Void and converts it into raw power, your body crackling with the new energy.

You doubt you'll be able to unlock the power of the void in the midst of combat but you can certainly consume it for a raw boost in your power.

The Dagger Clanship finally broadcasts its surrender as the last of its frigates goes silent under your assault, their remaining weapons powering down now that the Osjiic fleet had ceased firing on them. Talons and Trolls race through the halls of the Clanship, tackling and rounding up the survivors. A Troll steps onto the bridge where a collection of mostly Netu stand behind a pile of weapons, a large ornately armored Netu stepping forth to hand over a decorative thermal sword longer than a Talon was tall.

The Troll takes the sword and nods its angular eyeless head just as the Stingers fire their thumpers of riot gas into the bridge, the officers choking and collapsing as the undead flood in.

On board the Osjiic Heavy Cruiser you step to the front of battle now, your shardspitter firing darts of bone and necrotic energy that burn through armor and flesh like a thermal blade through cheap plastic. Your spear moves like a living creature, shards and chips of its blade and chitin left behind in the limp forms of the defeated to bind them to your will once they awaken.

You and the Voidknight carve your paths through the Osjiic soldiers towards the bridge where you feel several Voidsingers awaiting your approach. Bursting through a sealed bulkhead with blasts of necrotic energy and flayer beams you step past just as Lorgul smashes through a nearby door and entering the large room at the same time.

The bridge was quite large with consoles spread around the room where navigators and pilots once sat, the Osjiic hunkered down with their weapons aimed at the doors but they do not fire. In the middle of the room stand four Osjiic. Three of them clearly Voidsingers with their energy growing larger as you sense them preparing to detonate with hammers in hand. The fourth was presumably the leader of the fleet, a taller than average Osjiic armored in heavy and ornate armor carrying a larger than normal bolt-repeater that hums with Void energy.

The Osjiic's helm snaps back and you see their face is heavily scarred, their eye replaced with a monocle of metal and glass. Metal teeth glint as they snarl at the sight of you and your undead pacing eagerly behind you as they fill your side of the room, "You have interfered with Imperial conflicts and proclaim yourself an enemy of the Osjiic Empire-States. It is my duty as Fleet Sub-Admiral to destroy you and avenge my fleet and lost soldiers. My name is Estkri, Daughter of the Empire and Mother of my Fleet. You shall die here, abomination!"

Their helm snaps back into place and the heavy bolt-repeater starts to hum with Void energy.

The first blast from their weapon scream as they aim at you but Lorgul steps between it and you. The attack strikes his palm and drives him back several inches before he grunts and thrusts the same hand forward, redirecting the attack back at the cluster of Osjiic.

One of the Voidsingers falls onto their back as it strikes them in the chest. Estkri looks back at her soldier in surprise but by the time she looks back you and Lorgul are both charging forth. Another blast rips from her weapon with a scream of energy and you deflect it off your palm with a burst of necrotic energy as you hover and dash forward.

Lorgul leaps forward and swings his maul in an overhead strike to smash the ground before the Sub-Admirals feet as she brings the weapon to bear on him. The blow creates a small crater in the metal floor, the Osjiic stumbling but suddenly lifted off their feet and sent toward the ceiling as gravity was reversed from the Revenants strike.

The Osjiic once hidden behind their consoles are quickly tackled by Talons or hooked with sting whips and dragged back into the swarm of undead and subdued.

Darting through the air your spear lashes out against Estkri's helm as you pass, leaving a large gash across the pale metal but only as a distraction as you pass her for the Voidsingers. A hand stretches out and you sink your claws glowing with necrotic energy into the faceplate of their mask. A burst of you power and you feel them lose consciousness, their charged void power weakening.

Lorgul aims his handheld flayer that packed nearly the punch of your shipmounted ones and fires a beam at the Osjiic commander. To your surprise you watch as the armor on her back flips up several fins and with pulse of void energy she darts backwards to dodge the beam and firing another blast at Lorgul then another as the weapon picks up speed.

You kick away from the Voidsinger as gravity returns to normal, the still conscious Voidsinger the only one on their feet as they land but the Sub-Admiral remains in the air as a small pocket of distorted light surrounds her. Your spear darts forward at her back but a pulse of her jump-pack and she dodges to the side, your spear gouging her arm instead of piercing through her neck.

She whips around and swings a boot as large as your torso at you and you throw up an arm as she kicks you across the bridge. Striking the wall hard enough to leave a dent and cracking several ribs and portions of your armor you let out a cackling laugh.

The Osjiic warrior aims her weapon at you and fires of a pair of shots and you throw up your hands, deflecting them with bursts of energy. Lorgul leaps forward once more, swinging his maul but the Sub-Admiral dodges the blow with another ripple of Void energy.

Wrenching yourself from the wall you clack your jaw. Your spear coils itself around your arm as your body starts to crackle with bolts of necrotic energy, the wall and nearby console warping and decaying as the dirty green energy arcs to them.

Lorgul fires his flayer once more and sweeps the beam across Estkri, warping her armor but she remains airborn, sweeping behind a pylon full of consoles that smoke and burn as the beam strikes it. She darts out and fires several blasts at the voidknight and he manages to deflect two of them before one strikes his chest, bits of his armor shattering as he's pushed backwards.

>cont

>>43533108
Your hands thrust forth and bolts of necrotic energy connect you with the Sub-Admiral and the remaining Voidsinger. Several more bolts flicker from you to them in the span of a second and their armor warps and bubbles. The fins on her back crack and she drops to the ground with a shout of pain, dropping her weapon while the Voidsingers helm melts against its skull and it collapses, somehow still alive but down.

You break the connection quickly, wanting her alive for now. Approaching the Osjiic still managing to stay upright she tugs off the melted and warped helmet, tossing it to the side as she looks up at you with a cracked lens. She pants with the exertion of the fight and the pain of your attack and watches as Lorgul joins you at your side. You can feel his anger and desire to crush her skull right there but he holds himself back, waiting for your order.

The Sub-Admiral sighs and bows her head, a six-fingered fist lifting to the damaged chest piece of her armor, "I have been bested. I have never fought an enemy like you, not even the Warbloods of the Sunscale proved such a foe. Grant me and my crew an honorable death," she pleads as the remaining Osjiic in the bridge throw down their weapons and kneel as well.

Across the fleets your soldiers report the success in claiming the remaining still in tact ships of the two fleets.

There is a buzzing of insects and a whisper in Jadyk's nonexistent ear, "Impressive."

Than again, if there is a way to properly build capitol ships I'm all for it.
>>
>>43534885
Hey grave, any guts feelings from our think tanks in the topic of capitals?

Also, what do they feel would be most valuable to research for fully ship/space space focused strain?
>>
>>43534885
(Actually I realize that Sub-Capitol ships would need to be researched before Capitol ship development is available. Also shields should be under research topics instead of loot)

Your Think Tanks request the construction of additional Cauldrons to aid in their research and construction efforts. They are eager to begin work.

Lorgul eyes the captured Voidsingers, all three in various stages of the Void consuming their living essence. He says that you two could possibly create additional, less powerful but still might Voidknights from them or the two of you could drain them for their power.

From the surface of the planet comes the messages from both Jor and the Voidsinger, the two loyal followers eager to hear of your victory. They are quickly ushered onto a Coffin dropship and taken up to the Moonbase where you've secluded the leaders of the fleets.

Jor excitedly applauds your victory while the Voidsinger agrees that it was a decisive battle. They compliment the effectiveness of your Nail fighters. Your fighters took minimal losses while managing to cripple the remaining fleet ships while delivering their payloads of soldiers.

The most damaged of the Voidsingers is brought before you along with the injured and dying. Draining them first you turn to the silent Voidsinger, it's helm melted to its skull but still somehow "alive" with the Void powering them.

Lorgul watches silently with your first Voidsinger. They had tried to explain the Void to you but they were at a loss with how to put it to words. They merely gave the advice, "Let it flow and be swept away."

Clutching the shoulders of the kneeling Voidsinger you slowly drain the energy from its body, letting the flames of the Void flow into you. You feel it scorching your bones but you continue to draw it in. It struggles with the ocean of Necrotic power you contained but you let it flow into you.

Flames flare from the Osjiics armor and travel along your arms, sucked into the crevices of your armor. The bones within you burn and scorch but you let the Void sweep over you. Your body becomes engulfed in the indigo-purple ultraviolet flames, Lorgul and the Voidsinger stepping forward in concern but there is a clap of air as it is snuffed and swept inside you.

The drained skeleton of the Osjiic drops to the ground and rattles in its armor as you stand there, bolts of green necrotic energy crackling off your body. You look down at your and and after concentrating hard you summon a small spinning sphere of Void energy with sparks of necrotic energy connecting it to you.

You cast it forth at the pile of corpses in the corner of the large room and they lift, gravity reversed for several moment before they drop once more scattered across the floor.

Even that much took a good deal of effort and power from you but Lorgul and the Voidsinger assure you that with time you will grow ever stronger with it.

Do you wish to create Disciple Voidknights from the remaining two Voidsingers?
>Y/N?

I'm excluding your first (and favorite) Voidsinger from the options. You sense that he will ask for that gift when he is ready and more powerful.

You get the sense that the Voidsinger is just as much a believer in your power as Jor is. The human practically worships you now and eagerly wishes to serve and keep you happy.

Dang, we're wracking up mortal followers without even trying too hard. We must be a pretty affable lich.

For some strange unfathomable reason in my head I have Ghul as the Coach from L4D2.

Lorgul himself guides the two Voidsingers to the awaiting Cauldron with the Think Tanks floating above. You motion for him to take over and he shoves the pair into the Cauldron before plunging his hands into the churning liquid.

Flashes of void energy go off like small explosions under the surface, lighting the room with eerie shades of purple and green. It takes some time as Lorgul shapes them with the help of the Think Tank pulsing with Void energy.

Finally he steps back and wrings his hands of the liquid. Pulling themselves from the liquid are two soldiers, each wearing armor like the Revenant Voidknight but less elaborate. Flames leak from their armor as they remove the visors from their horned helms and skulls look out. They salute with fists thumping against their chest, each bowing to Lorgul then kneeling before you.

They speak, their voices deep and resonant, "We died and live again to serve you. Jadyk, Lich-Lord and resurrector of the Voidknights."

You motion for them to arise, "Stand, my Voidknights. Disciples of the Void. Heed the final words of Ghul and serve me until the death of the universe and beyond."

They stand and salute once more, replacing the visors of their helms and turn to leave, following the Voidsinger as they leave to attend to damaged Void cores and prevent any catastrophic reactions among the damaged Osjiic ships.

>Created 2 Voidknight Disciples
>While not as powerful as Lorgul or full Osjiic Deathwatch Voidguards, Voidknight Disciples are powerful combatants dedicated to the cause of Jadyk Lich-Lord and his new Grand Necrotic Armada. Loyal to the death and beyond.

Ok I think I should call it here, I'm starting to get bleary.

I hope folks had as much fun as I did with tonights run. Boy did the dice love you tonight.
Soon we'll be able to start traveling among the stars and discovering new systems. Lots of worlds to discover and consume, lots of enemies and potential allies to meet and enslave.

we should get some of our living followers bedecked in cauldron forged armor and weapons to represent us in cordial introductions to the rest of the galaxy. Show that the living have a place in the new necrotic armada

Night dude, thanks for running, this was a good one.

Wait, any relation to the worker sunscale lizard we found with the pirates?

Same race, yes.

Daggers said Warbloods are their warrior caste when you were asking about the Worker.

Might be more appropriate to get them a swag robe, armor implies you expect to get shot at. Not exactly a message we want our diplomat to send.

...The Living always had a place in the Necromantic Armada.

Next time we should see if that planet and ruins near the sun can be explored by some talons and mined by some of our diggers.

So, I fear I've discovered a conundrum with our undead protagonist. Supposedly, he is a skeleton, and yet at his peak he is somehow also David Bowie.

Does he swap between these forms at will, or is just a really bony Bowie?

so heres a thought

Can we make the moon into a giant cauldron. [pic related]

Planets go in one end, Ships and undead soldiers come out the other

wormstar reborn
>>
>>43536594

Jadyk started out as a somewhat-smart WORM that was capable of hijacking and operating a corpse.

Jadyk's and thus the Wormstar's entire shtick was that the flesh is malleable and that bodies can be recycled and replaced with something better using the recycled body.

Once we get a good enough Cauldron going on, Jadyk is going to treat that motherfucker like jacuzzi and just sink underneath and remake his form to whatever he desires.

this>>43537709 pretty much, he'll need a large part of his power back too first though.
