Burning winds char and polish the small planet circling close to the giant red star. The surface blasted away by powerful radiation storms and solar flares but yet this barren rock held a secret. A rather violent secret, it would seem.

The large gallery of pillars and columns was in even worse state than when your undead forces marched in. The powerful telekinetic monolith lay shattered and broken, the crystalline veins running through the gray stone crumbling at the touch.

The Voidknight Disciple gathers a small handful of the soldiers to himself and begins a quick search of the room as you kneel by the sundered monolith. It had spoken in cryptic words and knew of your power. It had nearly killed you and your soldiers but it had seemingly not expected your desperate gamble of tapping into your newly acquired affinity with the Void.

Elsewhere in the system Think Tanks are hard at work commanding your reconstructed soldiers and the enslaved minions of the two fleets. Already the framework of large buildings are being raised on the surface of the moon or caverns dug into and expanded under the surface.

Lorgul proves to be a dutiful warden, keeping your new workforce busy and "eager" to work. Even Jor was doing his part in attempts to sooth the worries of at least his fellow humans but even some of the Daggers and the occasional Osjiic move along with their tasks after a few words with the man.

Your hold on this star system was nearly complete and soon you will be out among the stars at the head of a new fleet. The Galaxy will know your name once more and know the fear that once infected every planet.

Your soldiers collect the pieces of the broken monolith and their broken comrades, gathering them in piles for transport back to your Cauldrons for inspection. The Disciple returns saying the gallery hall continues for quite a distance but they detected no more Monoliths. They did find a large hallway leading into the darkness, the Cyclops peering in to reveal a large stone door sealed further in.

The Think Tank you had brought with you was still doing a survey of the planet searching for anything interesting. You still had two other Coffins waiting for you and you could leave now to return to your forces or push further into the strange ruins. Your spear shattered in the attack that brought down the Monolith, your armor cracked but still holding you at least still had your shield and Shardspitter.

At your blessing they resume work on buildings they had already begun working on before one of them had thought to ask permission. Walls are hammered out and raised, large pits dug and carved with Cauldron runes.

You suspect that the Monolith was not the only defender of this ancient ruin and thought it wise to wait for the time being. Soldiers start hauling out the pieces of the Monolith, using Chariots to carry the largest of the pieces.

The Think Tank on survey reaches out to you after several hours as you inspect the ruins yourself. They completed their survey and are on their way back with the result.

The planet seemed to once have an atmosphere, a blistering hot one, but one nonetheless but after eons the expansion of the sun blasted it away along with what seemed to be shallow oceans. Your Think Tank was skimming along an old ocean trench when they detected a large amount of metal. Talons, Cyclops and Gargoyles investigated the canyon and found what appeared to be an ancient attempt at mining.

There was already the start of an artificial tunnel system in the shadow of the canyon floor with piles of scattered rubble with a few scraps of heavily corroded metal in the tunnel. The survey reveals the area would be a good place to start mining operations. Deep in the canyon it was for the most part protected from the radiation heavy winds and the blistering sun.

The Think Tank suggests creating a small outpost for diggers and a skeleton crew of soldiers to mine and transport the metals using Coffins.

Coffins back on your moonbase are loaded up with the necessary materials along with one of your Cauldrons and Think Tanks and sent toward the scorched planet. As an extra thought you command them to begin converting the remaining Osjiic and Dagger dropships and fighters into your own craft but to save several for potential infiltration operations in the future. Your Think Tank assures you that with the gathered knowledge from your enslaved workers and engineers you could craft replica versions of their craft should the need arise.

>Beginning construction of Mining Outpost
>Dropship/Fighter conversion started: 21 Coffins 40 Nails

Another message from you overly active Think Tanks comes through but this time it is not a request for resources but a report on their research findings.

Completed Research:
>Necrotic Power Generator: A large spherical device that contains and shields a volatile mix of shattered Necrotic Crystal and fuel harvested from gas giants, the necrotic power generators provide a constant source of energy that is used to power surface infrastructure and sub-capitol and capitol ships.

>Ship-Based Weaponry: By studying the larger sub-capitol weapons of the Osjiic and Dagger fleets the Think Tanks can now create weapons appropriately sized for ships larger than your small craft like Coffins and Nails.

You congratulate your Think Tanks on their work and they beam with pride you could feel even across this distance. They eagerly await your new orders.

Lorgul is quick to load up onto a Coffin with a fresh deployment of troops, leaving the Voidsinger and remaining Disciple behind to keep watch over the volatile experiments with the Void Drives.

As his Coffins lift off and depart several of the newest converted Coffins and Nails depart as well, heading for the Gas Giant to scout and investigate the moons and fuel harvesters there.

It takes several hours for both but Lorgul arrives first, his coffin passing the one containing the remains of the Monolith. Inspecting the damage caused by the powerful construct he says he regrets not joining you in the first place.

He walks alongside you with your forces gathered behind when you approach the sealed doorway. A large stone seal, the inscription long worn away, holds the two slabs of the door shut. Lorgul hefts his maul that flickers and glimmers with barely restrained void energy, "Shall I knock?" he asks with a chuckle, his skeletal face turning a rictus grin your way.

You let out a chuckle and motion to Lorgul, "Introduce us politely," you say.

The Voidknight barks a laugh as you and the soldiers step back. He takes his maul in both hands, ultraviolet flames erupting from his armor and engulfing the weapon.

Swinging the maul over his head he waits only a moment before bringing it down in an arc over his head. You watch as ripples of void energy trail from the weapon, slowing until it stops inches from the center of the seal.

Lorgul stands frozen midswing, even the flames locked in place. You glance around and sure enough your soldiers are locked in place like stone statues. Even the constant roar of the radiation winds was silent but you hear a soft chirping from amidst your troops.

A hooded shape moves through the press with the sound of dried leather and cloth, a buzzing filling the ancient chamber. A pale gray shape, hunchbacked and stooped emerges and you let out a soft sigh, "I was wondering when you would make an appearance."

The Masked's voice chuckles like crinkling dried leaves from every direction, "We have been watching you and yours. The Masked are...intrigued, several impressed," A skeletal hand lifts from its robesleeve, shifting into a rotting limb of a human then flickering into an insects limb of black chitin.

Dropping its hood its form shifts again into an ancient withered Osjiic. It wore a wooden mask, strangely static compared to its wearer, in the shape of an exaggerated skull. It's body flickers and you are suddenly confront with your perfect doppelganger wearing the mask before it shifts once more into a broken shelled Vorh. It's voice crackles around you, "Jadyk, the conquering Worm. We Masked would like to speak with you and present a choice, if you would have us," it bows, its body a twisted netu with boiled flesh erupting from cracked chitin

Crossing your arms over your chest as your shield floats back to secure itself against your back like a protective shell, "I have a few questions of my own first," the Masked motions for you to continue with the stump of a humans wrist, "Are the Masked responsible for my imprisonment?"

There is a hiss of laughter and the Masked shakes its head, "We do not imprison. We distract, direct, divert, divulge. We never destroy by our own hands, only guide those we find worthy of our attention," the constantly shifting creature gives a small bow, "And you, Jadyk, Lich-Lord and masterless servant, are quite a spectacle. The Masked have taken an interest in you. Once you were but a grub, a parasite on your world burned by the flames of Wormstar. Your ambition is endless. None know the greed of the worm that has reached the stars and the Masked are intrigued in your story."

You clack your jaw, "You certainly like to talk. You spoke of a choice, what is it?"

The Masked's form is a mass of writhing cephalopodal limbs that shifts into the startlingly large form of a Plainsrunner wearing ragged ceremonial trappings, "A choice, yes a great choice. Three choices to be precise," it shifts once again into Jor, bloodied eyesockets peering from the holes of the mask, his belly slashed and gaping.

"A lost weapon and tool returned, trapped in the bellyof a singularity but easily returned.

Directions to a potential ally, a creative and twisted mind much like your own yearning for a chance to share their art with the universe."

You point a finger at the stout alien standing on three pudgy legs, its body mostly hidden by the mask, "That was only two."

"A third choice, a chance to reveal your jailors and those responsible. A chance for...closure," The Masked stands with both palms held out to you, nothing more than a ten foot skeleton of pure white marble

Besides, whatever we don't pick is definitely going to our enemies in terms of the gift/ally, so probably best to keep at least one away from whoever they might be.

You tap your boney chin with a fingertip as you debate with these choices. An ally in these new times was sorely tempting but you trust your hunch that you may be able to meet this like-minded individual on your own in time.

Stretching out a hand palm up to the crumbling Talon, "I accept your Gift. Give me what was once mine."

The Masked claps their hands and thunder follows. There is a warping of light and space and hovering between you and the strange entity is a spherical chunk of black metal crushed and warped. You look at the Masked, hoping your skeletal features could express your accusation and the voice hisses with laughter. It points with one of many claws at the metal floating just before you.

Reaching out you place a palm against the fragile looking metal and it comes alive at your touch. It flows like liquid, twisting itself into an all too familiar shape, a spear of constantly twisting black metal. Once forged in the fires of the Wormstar the weapon vibrates with joy at finally being reunited with you. Grasping the weapon that twists and curls in on itself in impossible ways it hums and crackles as it taps into your necrotic energy before a small flicker of ultraviolet flame pulses along its length.

You look up to the Masked then bow your head, the gnarled tree returning the motion with blackened leaves falling to the ground, "We shall keep watching you, Jadyk the Worm. Amuse us and show the Galaxy what true fear is once again. They believe themselves...safe."

There is a resounding crash as Lorguls maul finally collides with the seal, shattering it and throwing the doors open. The Masked is no where to be seen, only a few black leaves crumbling to a fine dust on the ground. Lorgul turns to you to brag about no one being home when he freezes, staring at the weapon in your hand.

For the first time since your awakening you feel like you are truly on that path to regaining your former glory.

Lorgul looks questioningly at the strange weapon and you chuckle, "A gift," before striding past him and the thoroughly broken doors. He looks ready to stop and question you but he obediently follows you with the reconstructed following.

Past the doorway was another gallery if smaller and in much better repair. Further down you spy a large dais rising from the ground with the grinding of stone. Floating above it and slowly rotating was a large blue crystal of shifting fractal patterns. It quivers as you and Lorgul approach, curling in on itself. A voice hums in your skull as the pillars around you light up with blue light from the veins of crystalline material running through them.

<Containment of Necrotic Infection failed. Subject: Jadyk has broken imprisonment. Transmitting... Transmitting... Connection broken... Emergency protocols enacting...>

You stride forth and thrust your newly regained spear at the cluster of shifting crystals and the black tines ring like a bell as they strike. The cluster quivers and shifts around the weapon plunged into its mass. Pouring necrotic energy into the cluster you hope to overload it but only drains your power like a sponge and you snarl, ripping the weapon free.

The room pulses with light but you turn to Lorgul, "I need your assistance my friend, these things are designed to drain me but they seem to have no immunity to the Void."

The Voidknight nods, letting his weapon hover in place as he strides forth with the Disciple hurrying forward as well. The three of you surround the twisting cluster of blue crystal and the flames of the Void cover all three. There is a ripple of air around the cluster but the sphere is pierced by a sudden spire of sharp crystal that lashes out, scouring the your bracer and you mind suddenly flashes to a vista of shifting crystalline plateaus and canyons, a whole world of fractal formations.

Lorgul snarls and glow brilliantly as he floods the construct with Void energy, the Disciple doing its best to aid the two of you. The pulsing veins flicking around you but another crystal blade lashes out, gouging Lorguls armor but he does not react.

His skull is an inferno and he shouts, a sphere of fire surrounding the crystal. The lights dim around you until finally you hear a resounding crack and the flames disperse. Clusters of smoking charred crystal fall to the ground and and you feel the energy surrounding you abate.

You'd frown if you could, kicking at a dead crystal. At least it hadn't detonated or caved the entire ruin in on you. Glancing around you spot several pedestals with seemingly mundane crystals sticking out the top, the light within fading gradually.

We need to be extremely careful having think tanks examine them though. They're full of anti-necrotic things, and our tanks are made of the stuff. Maybe make an outpost here or on the moon to study it? gotta keep it away from our bases so it doesn't get a chance to get its purge on because of some failsafe bullshit.

The Think Tank thanks you for indulging it as you depart, leaving a handful of Talons to help with the investigation along with several Trolls and the Disciple to stand guard.

Boarding the Coffin you receive a message from the scouting expedition to the gas giant. As the Coffins take off they report their findings of a brief investigation.

The gas giant, like many of its type, held a number of moons. Only three of them were of any significant size, the rest littler more than massive asteroids caught in its gravitational pull. The gas giant was a milky blue, the calm looking surface deceptive of the roiling eternal storm below the cloud cover.

The largest of the moons had been the one to contain the main harvesting and processing centers but your ships found the structure detonated from within by a Voidsinger destroying itself.

The other two moons hand smaller installations but they were neglected and inoperational. A brief look suggested they could be repaired easily enough but the main factory would take much longer to repair but it was possible. As it stood your Think Tank suggests fixing up the two smaller installations before focusing on the larger one.

A flight of Coffins loaded up with a mix of Reconstructed soldiers and enslaved minions including the Sunscale worker wearing only a simple breathing mask, make their way toward the gas giant moons. A Think Tank heads out with them to oversee the tasks and learn as they fix.

Returning to the moonbase you are treated to the sight of domed buildings of metal and bone built in craters and canyons. You watch as a Necrotic Flayer the size of a Nail fighter is aimed at a large boulder and a brilliant beam leaps forth from the barrel, reducing the boulder to a smoking crater. Dummy missiles streak through space as cannons fill the void around them with flechettes of bone and metal, blowing them out of the air before they could strike their targets.

Stepping out of the Coffin you are quickly approached by Jor and the Voidsinger with Krotur and Estkri lingering nearby. Jor pauses at the sight of the spear in your hand as his mind tries to follow and grasp the shape of it as it shifts. He blinks and shakes his head and turns to smile up at you, "Welcome back Lord Jadyk, things have been going smoothly here, just as you commanded."

You notice the human had lost weight in his time serving you. Where once he was rather round he is less round with cheeks drooping from the lost weight, eyes sunk further into his skull but you could feel he was in good health through the shard, better health than he had ever been before you had used your powers to heal him.

Nodding in satisfaction, "As I expected from you, Jor. Taking over this system would not have been as easy as it had been without your willing aid," where once such words would evoke a twinge of guilt you're pleased to sense no such emotion, only pride at your praise.

With the evergrowing need for resources your Cauldrons churn on the moon, Horizon's Drop, and even the scorched planet. Catoblepas crawl from the Cauldron Pits and are carried across the planet to spread out their blight. The Swamps full of interlocking trees and massive vines fueling the hungry beasts. Diggers lift themselves up, hovering on pockets of air before they start to dig almost hungrily into the ground of the two planets and the moon, thermal drills and digging claws tearing and separating stone and ore.

Coffins are loaded up with Cyclops and Gargoyles with a guard of Trolls and Talons, descending on the planet to investigate the beaches and polar regions of the planet to discover anything useful you may have missed.

>Roll me 1d100 best of first 3

The Sunscale intrigued you. Having such a powerful alien in your control but unable to learn their knowledge you were unwilling to sacrifice them just yet. They are brought to the Dagger Clanships medical wing where you stand with a Netu and Human pair, the so-called doctors. Taking a sample of the Sunscales tissues despite its protests as a Disciple and Troll hold him down. They say they can grow a replacement tongue for him in only a few hours and they set to work growing the cells on a hastily made scaffold of tissue.

You watch curiously, surprised by how remarkably close the process was to how your Cauldrons worked. If much less elegant and absurdly slow by comparison but you did not wish to risk the Sunscale's health by attempting to boost their healing with your power.

Eventually it is finished and after a quick surgery the Sunscale awakens groggily, rolling the strange new muscle around their maw, feeling their teeth.

The Disciple looms menacingly nearby as you sit in a much too small chair facing the Sunscale sittin on a stool as they touch the faint seam where the new tongue connected to the stump of his original one.

They glance at you and after several minutes of working with the tongue trying to relearn speaking they croak out, "Whyy?"

"I'm curious about you and your people. They have quite the impressive reputation. You yourself have gained the respect of these pirates that rescued you. Tell me of your people, if you would," you say calmly, wanting him to reveal things truthfully and without complication.

They frown, picking at a patch of pale green scales where gray metal scales grew on his arm, "The Sunscaale were my kinn. Workers work. Scouuts fly. Warrrbloods wage war. Divers...hunt. We follow worrds of our leaders, the counncil and shamaans," they shake their head and look down at their claws, "But I aam no Sunscaaale anymore. Leaning forward you make him look at your skeletal face, "Tell me what you know of the undead and their legends."

Lips curl back from fangs and they growl deep in their throat but they make no aggressive motion, "It iis the Holy Riight and Dutyy of the Sunscaale to suffer not the Undead to waalk. "You speak of a Mother and Father. I've heard these names before. Explain them for me," you say firmly, the shard of chitin in his neck heating up noticeably.

They hiss at you but growl out their answer, "Mother in the Void and Faather from the Solar. Progenitors of the Sunscale and Guardians of Reaality. They extinguished the Blaack Flames and shaattered many fleets. They rent asunder the Wormstaar with oour anncient allies in glorious war," their voice was starting to fill with religious zeal, his defiance growing just as hot as the shard controlling him.

You bristle at the admission and clench your fists but you refrain following your urge to drain him where he sat, "You speak of Crystals and Wasps. Tell me of them."

"Don't know much. Old allies, left aafter the great Necro Wars. Went home," he shrugs, "Crystaals were living stone, shiny and complex. Alien. Wasps were hunters, powerful warriors. Black shelled with red eyes and wings and bone white armor. Short and small but with great strength. Used to be slaaves, don't know to who, lost to time. Same as their people."

"Have you seen other undead among the stars?"

"Yes," they say simply, staring at you

"Where?" You grit your teeth in annoyance

"Out there. Red Rot mutants, fungal slaves, necromancer cabals...Blackscales," they hiss and spit the word with vitriol.

"Who are they?" you ask, curious about their fury and they snap their jaws in anger, the Disciple stepping forward with a hand on their mace but you stop them.

"Blackscale are abominations, betrayers of the Mother and Father! They worship the Dead and commit heresy against the Oaths!" their eyes grow distant as their rage grows, ignoring the heat of the shard as they stand. You sigh and the Sunscale drops with a gasp as his body convulses uncontrollably.

This was quite the interesting discussion.

Your Think Tanks contact you the following day, revealing they've finally unlocked the secrets of the Netu Skip Drive. By surfing strong gravity wells the Skip Drive allows accurate near instant transport from star system to star system. While not effective in deep space it is able to move quickly between star systems at a great pace than the Void Drive or other FTL-engines.

>Unlocked Skip Drive: Enables FTL jumps between strong gravity wells like stars and large planets. Requires time to spool the engine before the craft teleports to it's destination. The incredibly dense mathematical formulas needed to accurately jump and avoid appearing in the center of a star or black hole are handled by the same Think Tanks that pilot and run Sub-Capitol and Capitol ships.

You congratulate your Think Tanks on their success, the constructs beaming with pride. You turn the freed Think Tanks to assist their kin, the Think Tanks working on reverse-engineering sub-capitol ships signifying they were getting close to completion.

You turn your attention to the weaponry gained from the fleets and decide it is time you got your hands wet again. At a Cauldron on the surface of the moon your spear shifts and snatches up first a Voidsinger hammer and plunges it into the liquid, tearing it apart bit by bit. The weapon had delivered a blow that shattered your shield in a single strike and you can see why rather clearly. The hammer was a pale color and you realize it has Void sensitive bone infused through the dense material.

>Unlocked weapon adaptation: Void-weighted is an adaptation that can be given to a blunt melee weapon that increases the density of the weapon as it is swung generating a stronger strike. When wielded by someone gifted with the Void their blows strike powerfully and unleashing a short-ranged shockwave, easily shattering armor and crushing enemies.

Next added is the rather large jump-pack taken from Estkri's armor after your brawl with her. You were impressed with how easily the massive soldier had floated and dashed through the air almost as quickly as you had. Similar to the Jump-pack the lesser Osjiic Officers wore this one was much more advanced, more akin to a personal grav-field generator.

>Unlocked Advanced Jump-Pack: Allows a unit to jump great distances or hover with decent control for a short period of time while affected by gravity. Much more agile than the standard form it provides incredible maneuverability in zero-gravity allowing a wearing to move in nearly any direction they wished. Cost: 10M

The weapon of screaming void energy that the Sub-Admiral turned against you and Lorgul is added next and you nearly lose control of the small void-core at the heart of the device. Similar to the standard Chain-Repeater it builds a charge of energy before firing, but instead of electrical and thermal energy this one fired raw Void energy as an attack.

>Unlocked Special Weapon: Void-Repeaters are a powerful weapon of chitin and void infused bone. In the hands of a unit that can control the Void it can channel blasts of powerful void energy long distances. Each shot increasing its recharge speed until the weapon is able to sustain a powerful beam of destructive Void Energy that tears its target apart at nearly the molecular level but sustaining the beam too long can lead to destructive results for the weapon.

The Sunscale is brought forth and it glares at you defiantly as it's lead to the edge of the Cauldron. It seemed that giving back its ability to speak and questioning it about it's heritage had sparked a fire within him once more. It was no matter, his worth was more dead now than alive.

The Sunscale Worker turns their gaze skyward to the stars, their face covered by their breathing apparatus as the coldness or the vacuum seemed not to affect them, "Forgive me, Mother in the Void. I lost faith. Protect me, Father from the Solar. I lost faith. Guide me, Mother and Father, to your side," he prays as a Troll shoves him up the ramp. They raise their hands to the stars just as they're kicked in.

They barely splash into the Cauldron when there is a flash of solar fire, the Sunscale's body combusting with a sudden fury that leaves nothing more than the skull and ribcage of the reptilian. Your armor and the Troll were scorched from the blast but unharmed.

You glower as the Cauldron tries to break down the remaining bones but find it frustratingly...impossible.

The bones, still holding together somehow, are jettisoned and the blackened Troll collects them. You have them sent to Jor, the Troll requesting the human make use of the large bones.

Frustrated by your failure with the Sunscale Worker, you realize it only made sense for a race that seemed to view slaughtering the undead as a holy ritual would have some kind of failsafe to prevent such a thing.

You summon the large netu, Captain Krotur to the Cauldron Pit. They look uneasily at the bubbling pit as you hover over it with shifting spear in hand. Their secondary pair of arms that once held a blaster each cross over their chest as the larger hand points accusingly up at you, "I was wondering when you would do this to me. Fuck you."

You laugh and motion to the Troll to shove him in and Krotur resist, snapping at the Troll and glaring up at you, "At least make me dangerous! I will NOT be a simple pawn!" they try to protest some more but Krotur is kicked in the back of the knees and he topples into the vat.

Your spear drops down sharply, piercing his chest as he is torn apart by the Cauldron. With your spear back in hand your skill at warping the flesh and bone into new deadly forms is increased, giving your craft a certain artistry. The Netu wished to be dangerous and so he shall become dangerous. Bones are warped and strengthened, chitin grown and enhanced, the years of combat and skill that came with age and leadership warped and copied into their new form.

Plucking the spears tip from the liquid, four arms shoot forth to haul the tall soldier of pale bone armor from the Cauldron. They shudder in the chill of the vacuum and stand, their body lean but powerful. Keen eyes dart around intently, the gaze of a hunter and predator. They turn to face you and kneel, head bowed as you drift down before them.

Placing your hand on their forehead of armored bone you feel their power and hunger within, "Arise, my Hunter. You shall stalk our enemies and hunt the elusive. Arise, Predator Nektis."

Your new soldier stands and bows with a fist to their chest, "I shall serve until the true death takes us all."

Finally Estkri is lead from her solitude in the depths of the moonbase hangar and lead to the Cauldron. Predator Nektis and Revenant Lorgul watch from the sides silently. The Osjiic glances at them and scoffs, her helm flipping open but leaving the transparent shell of the breathing bubble around her head, "Finally turning me into a monster? I curse your name and all your kind. You will not make me turn against my species!"

She shouts as her massive arms flex and she snaps the restraints with barely an effort, shouting and ignoring the metal spike searing her flesh or the convulsions in her muscles, struggling to charge at you but she barely made it a few steps before Nektis, moving with supernatural speed darts forth and uses her own momentum to throw her into the Cauldron.

You nod approvingly as you drop your spear into her neck, shaping and warping her into a new, stronger form. Her body is a saga of past battles, scars and broken bones, fragments of bullets, shrapnel from ships and missiles, and even a primitive stone spearhead lodged in her side. Her lower leg is actually a prosthetic and quickly regrown and reformed in the churning Cauldron.

The spear allows you to craft and shape not only their bodies but their wells of power as well. Instead of channeling a massive portion of you own personal power into her and Nektis you ignite the spark within them, stoking it with the power of the Cauldrons until their strength is a deep well.

Drifting back from the Cauldron you watch as the newest of your warriors emerges. A hulking beast of heavy bone and muscle, the newly formed warrior towers over even yourself and Lorgul. They bow before you, a fist as easily big as your skull thumping against the tank-like armor of their chestplate.

"Arise, my Executioner. Your strength shall crush our enemies armies and punish those that betray us. Arise, Punisher Agona," you proclaim as they salute you and stomp away to join Lorgul and Nektis.

we're automatically equipping all our void guys with these void weapons, right? or are we going to vote on it?
>>
>>43650896
Would Nektis have any void powers though? I don't know if Agona would either, as I'm pretty sure she wasn't a void singer.
>>
>>43650915
I was more referring to buffing lorgul's mace and disciple melee weapons with void-weighted, and replacing their ranged option with the void-repeater. Maybe buffing our own things as well, if it doesn't interfere with whatever wormstar things are going on with the spear.
>>
>>43650939
Why don't we just make void weapons for all of us, and just equip them when we're in the mood for it?
>>

Three new generals for your new Fleet and Armada.

Revenant Lorgul, Reborn Voidknight of the ancient line of Ghul

Predator Nektis, silent and powerful Hunter to stalk and destroy your enemies

Punisher Agona, a massive tank of a soldier to lead your forces from the front lines

Three new generals that will spread your name and power across the stars.

You let your two creations move to the Cauldron and they each plunge their hands into the depths.

Nektis draws forth a collection chitin thermal blades and a long wickedly barbed spear. A large Spine-caster sporting venom and acid glands joins his armory as well.

Agona pulls forth several weapons that looked heavy enough to crush a Talon with the weight alone. A Bone-Rifle that fired massive metal slugs, a Chain-Flenser she carried on her shoulder, and a Void-weighted morningstar paired with a shield that was more appropriate to call a wall.

>>43650896
>>43650915
Agona has the faintest hint of Void power in her new form but just enough to power Void-weighted weaponry. She is not strong enough to fire a Void-Repeater.

Lorgul and the Disciples are able to wield them and you will be able to in time as your power over the Void increases. Lorgul and the Disciples will upgrade their weapons to Void-weighted passively.

Next Thursday will have sub-capitol research completed allowing you folks to start exploring the rest of the sector and nearby star systems

Sweet.

So what are we going to do about the Plainsrunners guys?
Enslave them, uplift them?
>>
>>43651133
Why not both?
>>
>>43651133
What's the difference?
>>
>>43651168
>>43651181
I mean in comparison to just consuming them for that sweet sweet biomass
>>
>>43651192
Well, we can get biomass anywhere, but a helpful cultist/slave race would be pretty nice to have around. There was probably a reason why we had them back when Jadyk was the BBEG of the universe.
>>
I kind of feel like we should reward Jor for his excellent service. Its hard to find such loyal and good help. Any ideas? Perhaps ask him if he would like to take on a new powerful form while retaining his memories? Whatever we decide to do, we should make it public in front of the other enslaved to show how we are fair and reward hard work and loyalty.
>>
>>43651598
Well, we already brought him back from the dead that one time and improved his fitness overall. That's a pretty good down payment for servitude. Maybe this will change when we start controlling heavily populated planets, and we can use Jor as our go between with their inhabitants.

Indeed, those are some sexy, sexy guns Bungie designed.
>>
>>43651943
Speaking of living soldiers, do you think we may be able to talk those Shadowscale dudes into serving us. They seem to have rebelled against the order of the Father and Mother, and they would be tough as adamatine nails.

and space ships.

I swear that Jadyk or his generals should have a personal Nail fighter like this one.

Darth Vader had his special TIE fighter, the generals can have their special Nails.

>>43652025
There are a bunch of different candidates for allies out there that we already know about. There are the Red Rot Ghouls, as well as assorted other undead, the shadowscales, and Akka-tor was mentioned to have survived the disintegration of the undying court and turning into the Sun Eater. There are also those enigmatic insect creatures that have taken to raiding and disappearing into the void, but I fear they might be the wasp creatures that battled the court alongside the Netu and confederacy.

Now I'm envisioning Lorgul and the Disciples piloting these but with the upscaled versions of the the new Void repeater weapons

>>43652107

Not to mention that we can uplift species, like the Plainsrunners we are going to uplift into a prosperous civilization that just happens to have extreme leanings towards Necromancy.

I'm already imaging what those things are going to make, once they grow old and die and are ceremonially lowered into a Cauldron to be recycled to protect and serve their living brethren.

In my head it's basically a Talon version of an Aklay, but with gun turrets, basically a Spider tank.

I want to see the deal with the specter ships, i think that's what they were?
