>Rush and punch her head off with your bare fists.

You were a weapon of the Omnissiah and you’ll show both the Gladiators and the spectators that you were superior thanks to your many bionics and your allegiance to the Machine-God. Immediately after the combat started you tensed all your muscles and felt them tightening around your hardened skeleton and organs, from your bionics several small streams of steam emerged and readied them for the incoming skirmish. Your psyber eagle noticed your intentions and started to fly to not hinder your movements. Step after step you started to dash towards the Albino Gladiator as you felt how with each feet that you advanced more and more bionics activated, some mere seconds later your vibrowrists, electoos, luminen capacitors and the jet engines of your wings were connected, turning you into a blurry ball of electric light that advanced like a plasma projectile towards his doomed objective. The strange albino girl was also rushing towards you with her power claws and her head bizarrely spinning to swing the electro-flails that she had installed on her digestive track.

She was doomed.

You were faster, heavier and your bionics made your impacts even greater. You retracted your arm and released it in the form of a heavy unstoppable punch. The moment your metallic knuckles touched her face the quantity of Newtons that were liberated in that instant was massive, yet you could somehow feel all the damage that she had suffered. First her skull shattered, her eyes ruptured and exploded, afterwards several of her vertebrae became broken and misplaced, but she didn’t died yet, her death came mere seconds later when all the veins and flesh that connected her neck were ripped off from the impact.

Your punch was so great that you had decapitated her.
>>
>>43724595

Her lifeless body somehow managed to stay upright for some seconds in which she showered you with a rain of blood and chemical products that coated you with crimson and multicolored fluids. The head continued flying in an arch that managed to reach the viewers, a couple of unlucky techpriests weren’t quick enough to avoid it and ended being affected by the head’s electro-flails, that were still attached to it and somehow continued activated.

There were other three gladiators that were fighting on the distance, when they saw what you were capable of they stopped and decided to create some kind of truce to unite their strength against you.

One carried with him the red hood and robes that revealed that he was a member of the Mechanicus, maybe it was an old techpriests that thought that he would have more future as a Gladiator or perhaps it was a Skitarii that did some crime and was punished to pay with his life in the Arena, he had a strange shield whose surface showed an oscillating frequency and carried with himself a mace that appeared to have some kind of mechanism inside of it.
>>
>>43724607

The second one was a hulking mass of muscle and fat that was even bigger than you and whose origins are surely a failed experiment of some sort, it fought completely naked and had a constant look of stupidity on his face, still, you tried to be cautious and consider him as intelligent as the rest of the combatants.

The third one was a person of indeterminate gender that seemed to be heavily scarred and burned. Its armor was covered in grenades and used a grenade launcher in one hand and a flamer in the other. That fighter reeked of madness and insanity; it could be the most dangerous of them all for all you know.

You walked over the lifeless body of the fallen gladiator and started to meditate about what step to take next.

>Focus on the Skitarii warrior; try to make him see that you are like him and that you two should unite against the other two gladiators.
>Focus on the Hulking mass of muscle and fat. Use all your energy ranged weapons to turn him into a steaming pile of burning hot ashes.
>Focus on the the Flamer and Grenade warrior. Maybe you could use your eagle, Aquilax, to pull some pins of its grenades.
>Try to fight them all at once, give the watchers a great show.

You act before he has any chance to get closer and grab your Long-Las. Missing such a straight shoot with a objective so big is simply impossible. The scope of your weapon grants you a zoomed view that reveals new details from such creature.

It isn't completely naked, some parts of its massive body have circular metallic ports, surely the injection entrances for vials and needles that pumped several chemicals and drugs into its bloodstream to make him even bigger. His body isn't only his; there are several surgical scars that crossed its body and fused it with other body parts of different skin tone and muscular density. From such a close distance it was obvious that this creature was an amalgam of several test subjects and had been then further increased with metabolic substances.

An invisible infrared ray formed on the cannon of your weapon and flew in an instant towards your objective. You weren't used to using such weapon and thus your laser beam ended striding away from where were you aiming. Instead of hitting its cranium your photonic projectile ended hitting his left shoulder instead. Since it was armourless the impact was incredibly effective, generating a great hole on its body that was deep enough to expose its clavicle.
>>
>>43725048

You were pretty happy and thought that the creator or owner of that creature was completely inept for not covering it with any kind of armor, you were the one who ended looking like an inept thought. Seconds after your shoot its hole started healing at an alarming rate until it was completely cured. It wasn't that its creator didn't gave it armor because it was incompetent...the hulking creature just didn't needed it.

You became somewhat stressed for this fact, how could you kill a creature that wasn't only stronger and bigger than you but could also apparently heal from any or at least most of your attacks?

>Fly and get on its shoulders. Nobody can heal from a decapitation.
>Get your lascannon and other heavy weapons to shoot it down. Maybe enough rapid attacks might be able to kill it before it can heal.
>Get your attention on another fighter. The Grenade man or the Skitarii. [ Write which one ]

>Fly and get on its shoulders. Nobody can heal from a decapitation.

With a great leap you get in the air and see everything from above, the Skitarii and the Grenade Gladiator are now fighting between each other, leaving you with no distractions to deal with your inhuman enemy. After your ascension you grab your powersword and create a twin powered connection by feeding it too with the energy generator of the powerblade stored in your arm guard.

You grab the weapon with both hands and feel the power surge as both energy currents combine and create a mixed disruptor field of dual coloration and intensity. Your Falcata shaped sword is now covered by a veil of cracking energy of orange and blue colors that mix and undulate as if they were some quick water currents.

Aquilax screeched as it flied in circles around you and then you descended as fast as you could and while maintaining your vertical orientation. The gene-crafter of the creature you are fighting never thought that it would have to look upwards and thus even if it tries to locate you after you ascended its muscles don't let him do so.

Without any chance to see your incoming attack you heavily land on his muscular shoulders and sink your blade into the start of its neck. It cleaves swiftly but not without finding some obstacles along the way. You don't know if they are hardened muscles or metallic augmentations but whatever your sword tip finds after it starts digging into his neck ends completely destroyed.
>>
>>43725666

You agitate your sword to slowly chop its ample neck and inch by inch you manage to decapitate him too. Several viewers scream you to send his head too but you don't comply. To you this is a work, not a show. Once the head is down you stomp it until its little more than a mashed mass of bone fragments and gory flesh.

Two dead, other two left. This isn't over yet.

Just as you descend from the body before it loses its balance you hear some whirling mechanisms and feel a rumble. The entire arena goes dark and then several dim candles start getting lit. Some doors open and strange movements came from their interior, then the cage doors once more. Whoever controls this battleground has apparently liberated some new fighters.

>Get your low light vision and try to see what those new fighters are.
>You more or less know were the other two warriors are. Use that in your advantage and advance in the dark now that there is some confusion around, attack them both before they can react.
>Fly into the air and wait until the lights return.

There is only darkness around you. You activate your night-vision and slowly see how your spectrum of vision becomes greenish and more adapted to such a low light environment.

Your lenses would need some time to adapt. Meanwhile you will have to focus on your other senses, like hearing. All around you there are strange beast like sound and shifting shadows. Then, a scream.

"Aaahghgh..."

Whatever lurked in the darkness had caught the gladiator that used several explosive weapons and grenades. On his death breath the pride of the gladiator beat his sanity and as a last movement he decided to remove as many pins of his grenades as he could before bleeding to death.

For a second the darkness turned into a light that was as bright as the day. All his grenades went off at once and caught in their massive blast three of those creatures. You barely had time to see what they were but their shape and aspect got completely scarred on your mind.

They were saurian predators that had been augmented with deadly bionic limbs that ended in razor sharp talons and other assortment of deadly armament.

Even if there had been completely erased several others were still stalking around. Toying with their food.

> These augmented dinosaurs can be deadly but they are animals, and thus predictable and easy to defeat. Wait until your eyes are completely adapted for darkness and hunt down the only surviving gladiator left.
> Even if this is a mere work to you giving the Coven a great show will surely make them accept you more willingly. Give them what they wish by hunting as many saurians as you can.
>Fly into the air and launch use your frag and incendiary grenades on those beasts. Save the Krak grenade for the heavily armored Skitarii gladiator.

Hell, I think there is other stuff we haven't used yet. Think of this as practice.

>Hell, I think there is other stuff we haven't used yet. Think of this as practice.

Well, name the stuff in a write in and he'll use it.

Heracor is part of the Mechanicus and then he's all for new tech but feels pretty attached to the weapons that he has used for years, sticking to traditions is just part of the mechanicus doctrine.

That's why there are items that he carries but has barely used so far.
>>
>>43726322

How about the electoos then? Think that was done last augmentation time. Can't look up everything else, since I can only participate a little due to still being at work.
>>

> Even if this is a mere work to you giving the Coven a great show will surely make them accept you more willingly. Give them what they wish by hunting as many saurians as you can.

Your people believe you are an Angel of the Omnissiah, a being that managed to transcend the material limitation and become into pure energy, if only for some seconds. There isn't a purest form of energy than light. You are light, you have been surrounded by darkness in many great occasions and you have always came victorious.

"Darkness begone..." You mutter as you once activate all your electoos one by one.

Each inch of your skin starts to glow with an electric light and soon your wings become neon blue too, none of it can escape the thickness of your armor and thus you remove your helmet to let all the light escape across your neck and head, becoming the second brightest living beacon of light. The intensity is so great that several sparks and electrical arcs form across your surface and impact on the floor.

You grab the handle of your power sword with your teeth and give your claw dendrite your newly constructed Melta/Arc Pistol. On your other two hands you have your favorite pair of pistols, your Arc and Phospex guns.

With so much light you become an easy pray but it also lets you be clearly seen by all the spectators and gives you a wider spectrum of visibility.

The first augmented dinosaur dies as you turn him into a ball of green phospex fire and then use the light it has generated to better aim and finish it with your Arc Gun. First one down, only several others to die.

Once these creatures saw that you were not a prey, but a predator, they all decided to attack you as if they were commanded by a hive mind.

You had the chance to try your MeltaPistol for the first time in the chest of one of those dinosaurs. Lacking any kid of honor and being only impulsed by its most primitive instincts the creature thought that attacking you from behind would be a great idea. It tried to sink its teeth on your armor, but dentures cannot do anything against ceramite and adamantium plaques.

After you noticed such pest you gun whipped it with your Phospex pistol and used the Melta on him. It was kind of fascinating how its mollecular bonds started to melt and the metal that coated his body ended fusing with his flesh and bones until it was all a burn pile of stinky and smoking slag that cracked with electric energy.

Your guns might have a short range but that was for the best. It only gave the viewers a better show as all the action was happening in a smaller area and it was thus easier to see and assimilate.
>>
>>43727257

They were more intelligent than you expected, maybe because of some strange brain surgery. One of the raptor like dinosaurs jumped on your chest and used its powerful hinder legs to push you and at the same time sink its adamantium covered talons into your armor. To your surprise you weren't only pushed back but also had two new perforations on what once was the polished surface of your armor.

This wouldn't be as easy as you believed...Full of rage you attacked that same dinosaur with his same tactic and dashed into his chest. Unlike him you didn't used your blades to pierce him, you wouldn't be so charitable...using your hands you grabbed the raptor by the jaws and started opening them until they were at their limit, only to continue pushing more and more. More sprays of blood covered you during the process but at the end you were successful, you managed to completely separate its jaws and rip of its head in the process.

Molten, electrified, burnt or at your hands, one by one all those creatures died around you.

When the lights turned on you saw that not all the attention was focused on you. The dinosaurs had also attacked the other gladiator, that lied now dead on the floor with its stomach completely butchered and next to a dead raptor that still had part of his intestines on its jaws.
>>
>>43727280

You were victorious. A great cheer surrounded you once more. This wasn't the first time that you had become a gladiator. Back in the day you fought in Melchisidor's Cloud with your old Skitarius cohorts to win the same wings that still occupy your back, you had also fought the Eldar witch Elyadien in the secret Inquisitorial Space Station and this was your third time. Still, you couldn't get used to the cheering and applause.

Several servitors appeared next, you got tense and expected them to attack you but to your surprise, they simply started dragging the deceased bodies into the dark corridors of the interior of the Arena.

Looking at your arms you noticed that you were way more dangerous than you believed, their teeth and talons and managed to scratch you pretty badly and what was once your pristine Magus robes were now some tattered remnants that stunk to blood and combat drugs.

The Magii Coven came along with a team of nurses and doctors but you dispatched the medical help, as seeing that your damage was merely superficial. They guided you out, and once again a heavily armoured vehicle awaited you.

The transport you were in was some kind of massive limo that had a prowl on its front and several other defense measures. On its spacious interior there were all the Magii that you had seen before, including Hellenica and Axsiselios.

"Well well! Seems like we might have a new member on our team!" Said an anorexic Magos.

"I don't know...he wasn't raised in our academy." Answered another that was completely covered in some strange grey bandages.
>>
>>43727298

It was odd, they seemed to want to be with you but at the same time felt kind of repulsed by your blood and sweat. They spoke as if you weren't even here. Surely those Magos are the kind of person that had never seen real conflict and thus don't know how crude war can be and how death feels. They are alienated from reality and thus, alienated from you.

During the journey back they discussed about what to do with you, since you weren't still part of the coven you didn't had the right to speak, all you could do was observe the two people you hatred most in the entire universe and see how their friends spoke of you as if you were a freak among freaks.

Along the many things that they said they questioned if having you was a great enough investment, you were a great publicity for their Academy and your presence might attract new valuable techpriests from all across Imperial Space but still, they thought that you were all brawl and no brains. It might be true that compared to them your skill or knowledge might be small but you were by no means stupid.

The return towards the academy didn't lasted more than fifteen minutes but still during that time you managed to despise them as much as Axsiselios and Hellenica, which oddly enough stood in complete silence during all the time.
>>
Sorry guys but I'll have to end it for today. Something requires my attention. I'll only give 15 minutes for questions because I'm in a hurry. Hope you enjoyed today's thread.

What, no. My gf isn't into 40k. She still asks me from time to time about the quest because she likes how pumped I get when I have a plot twist or something like that.

Inquisitor Oihan is very loosely based on her but that's were any similarities ends.

Its truth that there are going to be some final bosses tho.
