Welcome to Saiyan Quest. This takes place shortly after the war against the Tuffles, as the Saiyans look for more foes to battle in the absence of their old enemies.

Voting will operate on a first to five system, at least for the time being.

Dialogue is allowed to be added to votes, as are actions (though I'll ignore what I consider shitposting)

During battles, options will usually have a number assigned to them. After that vote has won, players will roll a d100, and have three chances to match or beat that number.

If a 100 is rolled, it is considered a crit success (unless 100 was the number you had to match).

If a 1 is rolled, it is a crit failure, regardless of whether or not the other two rolls are high enough to succeed.

If, during a battle, players want to attempt a writein action, that is allowed, but I am the one who will assign the number to it, so use caution

You're a young male Saiyan who fought in the war with the Tuffles. You are an average fighter for now, but have the potential of one of the greatest warrior races to roam the universe flowing through your veins. There is no limit to what you can accomplish through blood, sweat, and tears.

You take to the air once more, rushing into the thick of the enemy force.

Dozens of soldiers turn and fire on you, but you send out energy in every direction with a single powerful yell, stopping their blasts and wiping them out.

It seems you're finally putting a dent in the opposing force. However, you've lost dozens of Zillians in the process, not to mention three Herans.

Gine, Kamatsuna, and the unconscious Saiyans have disappeared. Your scouter tells you they're somewhere in the ship.

It also tells you that four power levels of 3000 are rapidly approaching. Looking up, you see four of those machines you fought outside of the Doctor's lab plummet to the ground, crushing several Zillians before shooting down several more.

Alpha lives, but Beta has fallen, and more than a quarter of the other Zillians have also been killed. Rugula, Toma, and Seripa are still fighting, but with these new arrivals, things do not look good.

That's when you see a small orb roll under the legs of the middle machine. There's a flash, and you see sparks surrounding the bodies of the machines as they suddenly stop firing and fall over.

Kamatsuna emerges from behind them, smirking to herself.

You thank her, then turn and begin blasting down enemy soldiers left and right. With your focus now entirely on the small-fry, the battle is beginning to turn in your favor. Alpha and his men kill dozens of enemies, and the Herans manage to get in a few good shots.

Rugula takes down multiple foes quickly with a mixture of strikes and blasts, while Seripa continues using her expanding energy wave to take out multiple foes at once.

With the enemy forces dwindling, victory seems to be in sight, but that's when your scouter alerts you to three more powers approaching.

One is at 5000, and the other two are at roughly 3000.

You look up to see a large figure glanced by two slightly smaller ones descending toward the ground.

They land in front of you and your friends, frowning and looking you all over.

The one in the middle is Commander Fesla. Your recognize his blue skin and pointed ears from the earlier transmission.

At his left is a red-skinned creature similar in appearance to the others in the army, but taller and more muscular. At his right is a thin creature who looks at you with a scowl.

"I have to admit, you put up one hell of a fight," the commander tells you. "But it's over now. I'm feeling generous, so I'll give you one chance to surrender."

"Let me handle this, sir," the big alien insists. "It should be simple enough to deal with these weaklings."

The commander shrugs. "Why not? Let's see what these "saiyans" can do against opponents that can fight back."

The large alien glares at you. "I'll deal with you first, Saiyan."

You drop into a fighting stance.

He rushes toward you, and you barely manage to block his first strike in time. As he throws a volley of rapid punches and kicks, you're quickly forced back until one of his kicks catches you in the face and sends you sliding.

He lowers his leg. "Ah, now I see. You're actually not a bad fighter, you just lost a lot of energy fighting the army and Saikont. Good, then I can take my time killing you without having to worry about too much."

You rush toward your opponent, channeling energy into your leg and preparing to kick with everything you have.

Unfortunately, before you can reach him and make your attack, he blasts you in the chest, knocking you onto your back and sending you sliding across the ground once again.

You roll out of the way as he fires another energy blast, and push yourself to your feet, immediately ducking beneath another attack and trying to decide what to do next.

"Your energy is depleting," your opponent tells you. "How long can you keep this up? Another minute? Two at best?"

"Granshuli, don't be careless," Fesla warns. "That was Saikont's mistake."

"Of course," Granshuli says. "I'll finish him now."

He holds his palm toward you, and it begins to glow with energy. His eyes suddenly widen and he turns to fire his blast at someone in the sky.

You see the blast consume a thin beam of energy, and rise rapidly until it strikes Alpha, who roars in agony and falls quickly from the sky.

"I told you," Fesla chides. "You almost got caught with your guard down."

Granshuli frowns, turning back toward you. He holds his palm up and fires another energy blast that comes screaming toward you.

At the last possible moment, another blast strikes it, sending both crashing into the ground in front of you.

The explosion throws you off your feet, but doesn't do much to hurt you. As the smoke begins to clear, you see Rugula land between you and your foe.

"Nobody is going to kill him but me," she tells the alien. "And I promise you some skinny red freak isn't going to take what destiny's reserved for me."

"I don't mind killing you first," Granshuli tells her.

Rugula holds her hand toward him, firing an energy wave that the alien easily deflects. He rushes forward, bringing his fist slamming into her jaw and throwing her off her feet right in front of you.

"You're even more pathetic than he is," the red alien comments, approaching her.

You haven't seen Rugula fight so ferociously in a while, and even Granshuli seems surprised by her sudden assault. Still, she can't seem to land a hit, and Granshuli eventually grows tired of humoring her.

He presses his palm against her chest and fires an energy blast that explodes and sends her flying over your head and crashing to the ground behind you.

As Granshuli begins moving toward Rugula to make the kill, a pair of energy waves descend from the sky and strike him full-blast.

Smoke is thrown up everywhere, and you can vaguely see Kamatsuna move in and pick up Rugula, taking her toward the ship.

The smoke clears, and you see that Granshuli is actually somewhat hurt, though you doubt this did much more than piss him off.

You look up to see Toma and Seripa preparing more energy blasts.

"Fine, your turn!" Granshuli shouts, flying up after them.

Commander Fesla does nothing to warn his comrade as your wave dashes up toward him, striking the alien and catching him totally off-guard.

Seripa and Toma fires their blasts together, catching the disoriented alien and sending him crashing to the ground below.

You see the commander frown in disappointment as his follower picks himself off, glaring over at you hatefully.

"Fine, I should have finished you off sooner!" he shouts, rushing right toward you.

You rush to meet the charge of your opponent, while Seripa and Toma blast down at him from above.

Granshuli avoids each of their blasts, closing in on you.

The two of you meet and exchange a furious series of attacks. You attack with everything you have, fighting through the pain of several blows and managing to land a hit or two on your opponent.

Before long, however, he punches you away, and fires an energy blast that causes you to shout in pain as you fall to the ground.

He readies another blast, only to spin and fire it behind him. You see it collide with another blast and explode into a cloud of smoke. A blast comes down at your foe from the sky, and he deflects it, only to cry out in surprise as Bardock comes racing from the cloud, bringing his knee into Granshuli's gut before smashing the back of his head with a double-axe handle.

Grandshuli begins picking himself up only for Bardock to stomp on his shoulder-blades and pin him back on the ground. Gathering energy, Bardock fires a powerful blast that consumes Granshuli's head.

Bardock takes a step back, and Granshuli remains completely still.

"I wake up and I find that you guys have gotten into another mess," Bardock comments, looking over at you. "How could you guys start a fight like this without me?"

He looks up at Seripa and Toma. "And I suppose you slackers have been letting Daikon handle the heavy-lifting?"

Totapo lands at Bardock's side, looking around. "Where's Rugula? And Alpha?"

"It doesn't matter where they are," Fesla says, stepping forward. "Soon you'll all be in Hell together."

Bardock smirks, dropping into a fighting stance.

Bardock rushes toward the commander, who smirks and happily welcomes his charge, blocking each strike the Saiyan throws his way.

He elbows Bardock in the face, and the Saiyan warrior is knocked back. Fesla grabs Bardock by the face, gathering energy with his other hand.

You fire a barrage of energy blasts toward the enemy warrior, who stops readying his energy attack and instead uses his free hand to batter your attacks away.

Bardock takes advantage of this momentary distraction and gets a kick in on Fesla, causing the commander to lose his grip.

The angry alien punches downward, but Bardock moves back just fast enough to avoid it, retreating into the air. The commander fires an energy blast up into the air after him, and you fire an energy wave to intercept the blast at the same time Bardock's crew does.

Bardock fires one as well, and the five blasts strike the one shot by the commander, causing it to detonate in a massive explosion. An energy wave cuts through the cloud of smoke, streaking down toward the commander, who backhands it toward Toma.

Toma barely makes it out of the way, and Fesla begins charging up at him.

Bardock rushes toward the two, firing a blast that Fesla easily deflects. Toma does the same, with the same end result, and Totapo yells, charging toward Fesla as fast as he can.

The commander smirks, preparing an energy blast before spinning and firing at Seripa, who was readying a blast of her own. She fires her blast in a desperate effort to weaken the attack, but it's no good, and she is sent plummeting from the sky.

"No!" Bardock shouts, yelling in rage and rushing at Fesla as fast as he can.

After kicking a charging Totapo and sending him crashing to the ground, Fesla turns and meets Bardock's charge, kneeing him in the jaw and sending him flying back.

You rush over to the fallen Saiyans, picking them up and heading into the ship as Bardock and Toma desperately try to fight off the commander.

In the ship, you find both healing tanks occupied, with Rugula in the old model, and Sabi in the new model.

"Dammit," Kamatsuna shouts when she sees the two Saiyans you brought her.

She quickly turns to the computer, frantically typing at keys and shaking her head.

"Rugula's still in critical condition," she tells you. "If we take her out of the tank now, she may never recover. Sabi's injuries haven't entirely healed, but he'll live if we take him out."

What she's saying hits you, and you find yourself trembling with a mix of emotions.

You can only save one of them.

Sabi's eyes slowly open, and he looks around in confusion. "W-what the hell happened?"

"No time to talk," Kamatsuna says, taking Seripa, stripping her down, and putting her in the healing tank.

As Sabi puts on some armor and a scouter Kamatsuna made for him, you give him a somewhat confused look. Kamatsuna said he hasn't fully recovered, but his power level is over two thousand.

He looks at Seripa and Totapo, looking somewhat anxious. "What's going on?"

Kamatsuna explains the situation as best she can, and you see Sabi growing more and more angry by the moment.

"I'll rip this bastard apart!" he shout, rushing down the hall and toward the battle.

"You need to recover!" Kamatsuna calls after him before letting out a resigned sigh.

She looks over at you. "I don't need to tell you that he isn't fully recovered, and that the three of them won't be able to stop this enemy alone."

You're tired and wounded, you've lost two valuable warriors, and two more are in critical condition. You can guess that the battle outside isn't going well, either.

This may be your last stand, and the last stand of your entire force.

But you'll be damned if you go down without a fight.

Taking a deep breath and preparing yourself mentally, you rush out after Sabi, ready to see this thing through.
