You are Alice, the new Overlord. In the last few weeks, you found new followers, including an old, wise goblin, a Kraken and a family of molemen, one of them got just blessed by the avatar of earth and gained his knowledge about mining and stone harvesting.

Now, you're back at your castle, watching the pumpkins grow and talking to Nila.
>So you could teach the art of mining to us?
Nila nods.
>Whoever you want to learn it will learn it. I'm happy to finally be of use, Alice.
And so are you. Finally, there is a chance to get all of the iron from the veins you found.

Cormix tells you that your food stocks will last another two and a half weeks.

What do you want to do?
>Let Nila teach mining to (whom?)
>Go exploring (to where? for what sake?)
>Train you/your army in fighting
>Other (write in)
>>
Hey guys, I'm back. Also, we're on sup/tg/ now. Just ask for our Quest title. Or 'bad rolls the game'.
I'm adding all the threads so far as fast as I can.

Also, you might want to find something to do for this evening/whatever you have. I have a meeting of a sort and therefore can only run for the next four hours today.
>>
Bump.
>Summon players.

Train the army in fighting.
>>
You ask Groknak, if he can help you to not only train yourself but the army too. He nods.
>It's a style different from mine, but I might try.
Half an hour later, Groknak is standing besides you on the courtyard, clad in a mighty orcish armor, armed with a training sword and a wooden shield. Before him, there are four groups of four goblins each, armed with mixed armaments of whatever they could find. Old leather, rusty chainmails, clubs and more clubs.
>Alright guys, to get you warmed up for the training, you will run around the courtyard ten times. Then we will try to spar in groups of two.

>Roll 1d20 for success of the training.
First three rolls.
>>
Come on, guys. We just need three rolls. That's not too difficult, right?
>>
Rolled 20 (1d20)

Bump.
>Summon players
Also adding the first roll.
>>
>>43981202
You're running at a very shitty time.
>>
>>43981205
Which sadly happens to be the only time I'm free at today.
>>
Bump.
>Players, please.
>>
Rolled 6 (1d20)

Rolled 1 (1d20)

And another roll to finish.

Nice.

Your goblins start running. This doesn't seem too much of a problem for them, since this is their normal form of movement.
During a sparring match, Gregrix blocks all of Groknak's attacks, but his arms get tired very soon. Groknak lets another attack follow, which throws Gregrix multiple metres through the air. He gets up, but can't pick up his club.
>My arms... Urgh... I think the left one is broken.
Groknak quickly runs over to him, apologizing over and over. Then, he ends the lesson with the words
>Orcs fight this way. Goblins are too light for this, as you've seen. You should focus on your natural talent at dodging.
This seems understandable to your goblins. Gregrix arm luckily isn't broken but will need a few days of rest.
Your goblins now know that their innate tactic of dodging and only blocking in emergencies will help them further than any other race's tactics.

You stand on the courtyard, still kind of confused over what happened and are surprised by old Japhex asking you for your plans.
>It's only noon by now. How should we use the rest of the day?

Good question.
>Leave the castle (for what gain?)
>Stay here (and do what?)
>Other (write in)
>>

Stay
Ask nila to share her mining knowledge
>>
>>43982336
Go to the trolls, use nila's newfound knowledge to convince them to work in the mines
>>
>Nila, would you mind teaching a mining class right now?
you ask. Nila shakes her head.
>Not at all. We can start right away.
Since there is not much else to do at the moment anyway, everyone from the goblins to Groknak have assembled at the castle's kraken pond, which Nila called the best place for practical examples. She's a good teacher and thanks to the avatar's blessing, she is an ocean of knowledge. Teaching a lesson, showing some examples on the stone walls, teaching again, the day passes quickly. Everyone feels way more knowledgeable about mining now.

The next morning, some of the goblins are really excited about testing their new knowledge right now. Do you want to allow it?

>Sure let them go at it. They'll know what they're doing.
>Better take the vein in the valley. You won't have to deal with too much sun in there.
>Better take the vein in the mountains. There are no fae around.
>Sure, but I'm coming with them.
>Sure, but they have to take Nila with them.
>Not yet, I got other plans.
>Yes, but only ... of them (total of 16 goblins)
>Other
Multiple answers possible.
>>
>>43982660
>>Sure, but they have to take Nila with them.

and work at the previous kraken pond
>>
Alice Overlord is goblin right?
>>
>>43982758
>sup/tg/
>>
>>43982758
Alice is as human as it comes, but the goblins were the first ones to follow her.
Also if she was a goblin, she would be the biggest one to ever exist, as she is nearly twice their size.
>>
>>43982660

>Sure, but I'm coming with them
Work at the previous Kraken pond

We should really go with them just to make sure we don't lose anyone. If I know anything about goblins, its that they're kinda dumb on their own.
>>
>>43982854
seconding
Nila and I will go along
>>
>You may do so. Nila and I will come along to keep an eye on it. We will go towards the old kraken pond. We know about iron there for sure.
you decide. Your goblins agree and are ready to march even faster than usual. Within an hour you reach the pond.
>How should we start, miss Nila?
Kislax asks.
>Well, there are multiple ways...

Nila presents more than one way. Which one would you prefer?
>Start mining from the surface (gives iron immediately)
>Empty the pond first (safer to work with)
>Other (write in)
Also, roll 1d20+2 with your choice. First three rolls.
>>
Rolled 18 + 2 (1d20 + 2)

>>43983014
>Start mining from the surface (gives iron immediately)

they are spirited to work on mine
>>
Rolled 15 (1d20)

>>43983014
Start mining
>>
Sorry to say that right now, people, but my meeting is in about twenty minutes, so I'll have to go now.
Since I'm at a music festival tomorrow, I'll be back sunday around 2 pm german time. I hope to see you there.
>>
>>43983085
Oh, fuck, forgot the +2, make that a 17
>>
Rolled 7 + 2 (1d20 + 2)

>>43983014
>empty the pond first.
>>
>>43983103
Thanks, Overlord.
