Become The Vampire 16

You shake your head and focus on a different scene, shifting the dream to bring the monster version of Sammy into view. It's like a bad 80s movie version of a werewolf rather than the real deal. Angie was right though. You had never considered Sammy a danger before. You let the dream play out so your subconscious can figure this mess out, moving to the edge of the room with Angie.

"I'm lucid now, so that kinda kills the point of dreaming. I mean, you literally just explained to me the point behind the monster. There's no mystery or conflicting feelings there to work through. Plus you promised me that you'd tell me about devils and screwing them over, so let's do that."

Angie walks over to the monster as it attacks the bed.

"Are you sure that's all there is to it? I'll tell you about devils, but I don't want you jumping to conclusions."

Angie walks around the bed slowly and yawns.

"Don't think literal. Think figurative. Sammy scares you. Not because of who she is, but because of what she represents. You were with Jennifer in the dream, but that could just be hormones. Or it's about contrast. Sammy scares you in a way Jennifer doesn't. There are lots of ways to look at it. It all depends on your point of view."

Angie walks back towards you and stretches.

"As for the devil... Tellarie is a lust devil, who focuses on destroying stable relationships with acts of desire. Forbidden fruit. They're the foulest and worst sort of devil, corrupting and destroying good things rather than just sowing wickedness."

Angie gives you a tired smile.

"In short, the easiest to con. You can make good things and ruin them rather than doing genuinely evil things to please them. There won't be a mark on your own soul. And Tellarie is desperate for power right now, so they're handing out free samples left and right to get powerful allies."

Angie wobbles and falls onto the bed, the Sammy-monster gnawing on her leg.
>>
"For a con... When Tellarie appears before you, offer to corrupt something pure or break up a relationship. They'll follow up soon, so make some vague promises, keep what you know a secret... Maybe say you're mad at someone and want revenge... I'm sure that'll do as a starting point."

Angie yawns loudly.

"Mmm... nap time..."

She pats the monster and gets comfortable. You don't know why you were expecting something different, but then again there's a bed right there. The gnawing doesn't even seem to phase her.

Same system as Become The Dragon Quest. If you don't know what that is, it's best of three d20 rolls. I name a stat that sums up what you're trying to do, and if I don't name a relevant skill, you try to fill in the blank based on what you're trying to accomplish. “Break open the door” might be Strength based, but if you've been playing baseball after school and there's a lead pipe nearby, you could apply your Baseball skill to the roll. A 20 on the die is a crit threat, and if either of the other two rolls is 20 or higher after mods, it's a critical. A crit fail is when you have two or more 1s. So far this system has worked out well enough. We'll get into combat rules as needed, but in basic terms you have wounds, not HP, and the worse the wounds, the more penalties you accrue while doing other things.

Most Important Rule:
Have fun.

>Enjoy your lucid dream

>Enjoy your lucid dream
Might as well.
>>
>>44160296
Do you mean Sammy and Patrick losing control?
>>
>>44160482
It's Lust tainted SOMETHING and not supposed to be part of the whole werewolf package, so yeah. I'm guessing it's a blood curse done by a demon or the LUST vampire clan.
>>
>>44160066
>Wake Angie up, talk more
>>
>>44160537
That was a guess by me at the end of the last thread. We don't know what actually causes it. It could just be they have some demonic blood in their family tree
>>
>>44160628
Or it could just be an aspect of their werewolf curse. Because being a Werewolf is a curse, by common folklore
>>
You conjure up a coffee pot and a mug that reads "World's Best Reaper". Angie is next to you almost before you can blink, filling the mug and smiling.

"You're always so thoughtful."

You make a table and a deck of cards while Angie helps herself to the constantly-refilling coffee pot. She hugs it to her chest almost possessively. You smile a bit.

"Either that or you're predictable. If you weren't literally an angel I'd be worried you drink too much coffee."

Angie pouts.

"How could you use such language in front of him?"

She strokes the coffee pot.

"There there, don't mind the rude boy. There's no such thing as too much coffee."

She tops off her mug and you shuffle the deck idly.

"Do you think a demon or devil might be involved in the whole loss of control thing affecting Sammy?"

Angie shakes her head.

"Curses are living spells. They're like... magical constructs. They grow, adapt and change. Let's say I made a curse that drops ham on you when you say a word I don't like. A whole ham. Just bonk, out of the blue. Then one day you wind up on a desert island with nothing to eat so you start ranting and raving to get ham. The curse will change to suit the new situation based on its purpose. The point of the werewolf curse is to scorn man for thinking themselves beyond their primal nature, and to make them fear what they can't control. This is the next logical evolution of the werewolf curse for those who accept it wholeheartedly and don't fear it. It happens every other generation or so, to remind them to be afraid."

You nod slightly.

"Is there a cure?"

Angie nods.

"Of course there is. Break the curse. Or trick it into changing back. Both are dangerous though. Screw it up, and it'll bring out the big guns."

>Poker?
>Ask something else
>Go back to dreaming

Big Guns? And why would it affect Sammy and her dad? Wouldn't the fact her curse is defective and she's afraid constantly make it satisfied?

Just read it. And try to act in character. Oliver's only been at this school 3 days.
It is in no way presumptuous to expect someone who's taking part in this quest to read the QM notes.

>Oliver a rapist
No, I simply said none of Sammy's reactions can be accepted as what she really wanted while in the heat of the moment (completely true) and that her hesitancy and cold shouldering after the fact show her actual opinion of it.
>That Patrick was a total monster
Again, no. I was just saying that his being sorry wouldn't make up for all the abuse, and Jennifer's statements last thread showed me to be correct. Patrick never once considered that she might not want him.
>>
>>44161470
Well, now you know.
>>
>>44161544
That you're a jackass that accuses the first write-in you don't like of being meta and contrary to anything in that pastebin, constantly trying to hide behind the QM's skirt due to your inability to form an actual argument for why that write-in isn't IC? Yes, I do.
>>
>>44161000
>Jennifer is skilled at magic. She's got knowledge of necromancy, rune magic, crystal, all kinds of fun shit. If you slap blood magic on top of that, could the curse be swapped for an equal blessing that does exactly what it already does?
>>
>>44161610
Since it's evident you still didn't read the pastebin.
The write in isn't IC because Oliver has spent his whole life as a drifter, learning not to get too attached to people, and he has only been living here for three days. He is trying to stay under cover, and yet has already risked outing himself several times for this girl he barely knows.
If more time had past IC, this would have been reasonable behavior, as it would have allowed him to develop those deep personal bonds he normally doesn’t. But as is, it's completely at odds with his established background.
>>
>>44161699
I'll second this (though Jennifer said she doesn't know necromancy well enough to teach, she does know a bunch of other shit)
>>
>>44161708
>and yet has already risked outing himself several times for this girl he barely knows.

I hate this shit, And when ever I try to make a vote towards a decision that isn't sucking her dick I get fucking ranted at.
>>
>>44161708
Regardless of background and any other decisions related to Sammy, trying to say Sammy means nothing to us at this point is even more ridiculous, and there's nothing risky about *inquiring* to see if we can help a friend in a way that, as far as we know, does not have any associated risk of outing us and would most likely involve pursuing further magic, which we're going to do regardless.
>>
>>44161807
And I have no problem with that, it just feels like you're ignoring Oliver's driving force just to fix Sammy, which wouldn't be in character for him.
>>
You lean back a bit.

"What would the big guns be for a curse like that?"

Angie downs another mug of coffee and pauses.

"Those who fight their very nature are prone to breaking from the strain. She might split into two, and the wild half will consume the human. She might go insane. She might turn into something even worse. It depends on what goes wrong first."

You nod slowly.

"So... because they don't fear their curse or their wild sides... the curse finds ways to create the fear..."

Angie nods, leaning on the table.

"Exactly. Sammy grew up around people who normalize their curse. They stopped respecting it, assumed they were in control of things. Sometimes you only have something because someone else is allowing it. Like life."

Angie smirks a bit.

"When you don't respect the people who let you do things, it ends badly."

You conjure a soda and sip from it.

"Can a curse become a blessing?"

Angie blinks, looking into her mug.

"Yeah, probably, under the right circum...stan..."

She looks up at you.

"Try not to take this the wrong way, but you've got a long way to go for this sort of thing. I know you want to help, but you need a lot more than the magic you've got. Don't let death come so easily. And yes, that is my favorite pun. Death won't be denied, you can't stop death coming, and so on."

“Well, you could say that I... dream of the sweet release of death.”

Angie looks at you for a moment, before smirking a bit.

“Now you're getting it!”

She finishes her mug and refills it, and you start dealing them out.

“In all seriousness though... Jennifer told me that three of the hardest schools of magic to learn are blood magic, rune magic and necromancy. What do you thi-”

Angie spits out coffee at you, covering your face. It's hot, but it doesn't hurt because it's a dream.

“Never bring up necromancy again. Ever. There's only one clause in my job that lets me kill a human ahead of schedule, and that's if they practice necromancy. Those who drive the dead to dance will swiftly join their ranks. If someone who isn't human does it, fine, no big deal, hunters tend to stomp that problem out pretty quick. Humans? Nope.”

You can feel the thin sliver of a blade against your throat, and Angie's usual sleepy, chipper demeanor is replaced with one of absolute seriousness. For once you feel truly afraid of her. The moment passes slowly, and Angie picks up her hand to look at it.

“Rune magic is a numbers game. It's like making a computer program, except using magic and some of the most abstract and fundamental concepts of reality. No, wait. It's like building an operating system from scratch, using just bits. You know, the zeroes and ones. You have to build each component of the spell from scratch, and if it doesn't work perfectly, the spell does whatever the spell will do. Most rune mages either die on the first test run or become the most powerful sorcerers in the world.
>>
Blood magic is difficult because you can do anything with it, provided you're willing to make the right deals, but the spell structure itself is hard to decipher, and without an existing spell to work from you're basically shooting in the dark. Most blood magic tomes are written using trial and error, linked to one another to add to a shared body of knowledge. In short, it's a black box that no one truly understands except demons and one or two vampires. I mean, it was literally invented by Dracula, but I don't think even he knew what he was messing with.”

You set the deck down and look at your cards. With a smile, you start to pull out memories to gamble.

By the end you've managed to win three secrets from Angie, and she rests her head on the table, sulking a little.

“I'm gonna kick your butt eventually. I almost had you, too...”

You start taking in the secrets one by one. The first is about the time she forgot her scythe during her first day at the reaper academy and had to borrow one, and spent the whole day with an old, rickety thing that broke on the first swing. Everyone laughed, and Angie was sad.

The second is set some time during the middle ages from what you can tell. Angie almost let someone live beyond their clock because she fell in love with them, and got demoted because of her sloppy work and her attempt to break their code of conduct. The third one is about a secret stash of coffee beans in a locked drawer of her desk, her most prized possession in the world, a blend so potent that it would literally wake the dead AND make them ask for a second cup.

You redirect your blood back to life-saving functions and sit down on the couch.

“That's all you're getting from me right now. Like I said, it was a test drive. I wanted to know how you'd react. Plus it certainly got you wide awake.”

Jennifer stands up straight and stretches with her back facing away from you, her tail and ears vanishing as she returns to human form. She grabs her sweater and slips it on, pulling the waist down as low as it can go so that it barely covers her between her legs.

“What do you want to know about magic then?”

She's suddenly all business, but you know her well enough by now. It's still affecting her despite turning back to human form. You smile a little and get out your tome.

“I've been considering a few things... Let's start with...”

Jennifer sits beside you, and you rattle off a few questions to her. What's the best way to practice magic, anything else you need to know about what you can do, and so on. She grabs the book from you, researching a few things, and turns back to you.

“For practicing your magic, first you need to understand how magic works. Magic isn't like the scientific principles you might be aware of. Magic is more like music. I can sing a song, and you can sing a song, and they might be the same song, but they'll sound different. My voice will affect people differently than yours. You can train your voice to sound like mine, though.

In proper terms, each person's magic has three traits. Flavor, which got its name from magic-eaters, is the innate quality of your magic, the things that make it unique. Without additional spells to obscure it, these are the things that let someone else know who cast the spell. It's like a fingerprint. People who can see magical auras often call it 'color' or 'texture', and the spells you cast that linger will have the same aura.

The next component of your magic is density. A dense aura has a lot of magical energy contained within it, but without proper control it spills out, overflowing into spells. Most people have naturally thin auras, and people with denser auras by their very nature tend to have mishaps or suffer from wild magic. As you practice magic, your aura will get denser on its own.

Lastly, you have capacity. A given person has a natural affinity for certain types of magic. If I could perform magic, for instance, my affinities would be illusions, rune magic and deep magic. You should probably find someone who practices magic to check your affinities for you and see what you're naturally gifted with.
>>
>>44164815
>we are merlin
>>
In terms of the best way to practice magic, you should focus on things you're weak at and turn them into strengths. If your aura is thin, work on exercises that force it to become denser. If your affinities don't align with what you want to do, practice in other related schools to refine the necessary skills. Deep magic has a strong tie to rune magic, for example, and natural and nature magic go hand in hand, but someone might have an affinity for one and not the other.

One thing to keep in mind is that your blood is your blood. It will never stop being your blood, even outside your body. Unless you stop concentrating, it won't dry or disappear, and it'll take longer for it to clot unless you focus on the wound. Your body wants to bleed now, because it's not used to all the power in your blood. Perhaps your first exercises should be in getting your body used to this state so a mosquito bite doesn't cost you a pint of blood overnight.”

As Jennifer was talking she was moving a bit closer to you each time she turned the pages or showed you something in the book, and now she's right up against you. She passes the book back over to you and crosses her legs.

“At least, that's my opinion. You'll want simple, small spells. Blood magic is about sacrifice. A spell to move an object from one side of the room to another is cheap because you could get up and walk it over. You're giving up only as much as you would by standing up to do it manually. For things like that you could probably cast the spell, hold it as a charge, and then move things around for a little while. Holding it as a charge and using it over and over will cost you more, but you could work on your concentration at the same time.”

It was a method by which I was deciding my own vote.

He's also accepted tiebreaker rolls from anons in the past.

Regardless, I think I see where I was actually confused on. I thought you thought that your vote simultaneous to the declaration of the tiebreaker didn't count due to not linking the post requesting a tiebreaker, and wanted the QM to discount my vote, which was before your relinking, because you wanted your own way.

You adjust your pajama pants and tug them back up.

"Feel free to go back to bed. I'm gonna get a head start on the day. I've got schoolwork to catch up on."

Jennifer nods and kisses you on the cheek before sprawling out on your bed, wrapping herself in your blanket and generally taking it over. You chuckle a bit and get to work on your assignments, unpacking your paper and pens and getting your phone to use for your textbooks. You start with a rough outline of the religion for your history class, then your study sheets for Latin, and on and on.

You barely look at the clock, but you know you're making good time. By the time you finish catching up and completing your homework, you've still got an hour before you need to get ready for school. Your phone buzzes, and you check your messages. There's a reply from Meliora, and you read through it.

"She's safe. Shaken up, but safe. I dusted a few low-level vampires that tried to mess with her. We talked. She's at her room now, doing alright. She's afraid of what you think of her now, and doesn't want to see you."

You check for a message from Sammy, but there isn't one. You pack up your homework and look over at Jennifer.

>I'm heading out to see Sammy and make sure she's alright. Wanna come with?
>I'm gonna see if Sammy is back at her room. I'll keep you posted.
>Rest up and prepare for the day
>Study some more magic stuff
>Other (write-in)
>>
>>44166360
>Text Mel back, "Tell her I'm fine, and I'm looking forwards to Track after school."
>>
Probably going to end here for now. Place your votes and I'll start next time with the results.

Questions, comments and concerns?
>>
>>44166360
>Study some more magic stuff
We should prep that "grab it" spell like Jennifer wanted. We'll see Sammy at class. If she skips we'll hunt her down.
>>
>>44166360
>I'm heading out to see Sammy and make sure she's alright. Wanna come with?
Gotta get this done even if she doesn't want to see us.
Also we should take a shower.
>>
>>44166360

>>44166389
This plus a thank you to Mel.
>>
>>44166360
>>44166389
This, and also mention we owe her one for this.
>>
>>44166394
It was fun. See ya probably Tuesday?
>>
>>44166422
Indeed. Though it's pretty telling that the first pastebin has 28 views and the second has 13 at this moment. I think we lost a few people tonight when people voted to be a hormonal teenager and do stuff with Jennifer.
>>
>>44166437
Or because its late night sunday
>>
>>44166408
I really think we should wait for school hours. If we go now, she just won't open the door.sometimes respecting people's need for privacy is important
Best thing we can do right now is act like it wasn’t a big deal and practice magic, imo. Once we're stronger we can try to fix it for the whole Wolfe clan, after all.
>>
>>44166437
It's probably cause of Sunday night, but maybe we lost some of the blind waifuers
>>
>>44166443
That too.

I'm allowed to worry about these things though. I don't like making people upset, even if the nature of the format leads to conflict at times.
>>
>>44166476
Lets just hope it's the latter then,

if people were really that fucking upset over 'cheating' on a girl we met STILL LESS than a week ago then fuck them.

But i understand your concern.
>>
>>44166499
It wouldn't need to be cheating to be hurtful.
>>
>>44166360
>>44166389
This, then text Sammy
>"I'm fine, and I'm not mad at you. If you don't text me back and force me to track you down, I'm gonna do something childish and frustrating."
>>
>>44166531
As hurtful as being mauled by an angry defective werewolf?

>>44166552
I support you, anon. We don't know her well enough to even call ourselves friends. We're good acquaintances at this point, is all. We know far more about her mom's life and motivations, and half the anons don't want to consider Jennifer a friend either.

>>44166533
>>44166360

I do support this, though. Ovature of friendship without being forceful about it.
>>
>>44166552
Are you actually implying you voted to do stuff with Jennifer to spite Sammy for our conscious decision to leap in front of an enraged werewolf? Even after what we learned about the nature of the curse?
>>
>>44166586
I don't really want to retcon the character just because you don't like that we befriended someone a bit quickly.
>>
>>44166716
I'm not suggesting that, I am suggesting constantly reaching out to her is ridiculous.
>>
>>44166597
No, I wasn't implying anything.
>>
>>44166745
I just don't want to hurt her.
>>
>>44166360
>>44166533
I'll third this. For dubs.
>>
>>44166759
We can do that without being clingy.
>>
>>44166822
Not sure why you assume that this comment chain is related to clinginess at all.
>>
>>44166586
>Ovature of friendship without being forceful about it.
>Ovature
Either you meant overture, or you want to give Sammy friendship puppies. Or both.
>>
>>44166865
The first one both is okay if we go for harem end.
>>
>jennifer has self admitted to being a master manipulator
>jennifer knew sammy would react violently
>sammy saying that she'd gotten to you too and we vehemently defended her
>knew we'd try and step in cos we're oliver and that's what we fucking do
>stopped us going out to look for her, even after we'd gotten better
>"she'll be fine" even though it was only due to the friend we sent to look for her she isn't dead/missing

>got her lewds out of it, pulling us closer to her from sammy
>none of the answers from the blood magic conflict with what she's doing now since she's closer to sammy then ever, and she really is testing you, hard

I thought I wouldn't need to shadowrun anymore, but you bumbaclarts have forgotten about shadowrunning in the name of waifu wars and attempted harem route-ing.
speaking of,

>Student File Getto!
>>
>>44167674
you're late to the game, you rastafarian bastard.

And you're forgetting Jennifer let us put her under a truth spell, and probably would again. We could find out in a week when we have lessons again, if you can drum up enough support. She's not as convoluted as you want to believe though, couillon.
>>
>>44167764
Am i some frenchie though?
No, i'm a shadowrunner with a tendency to use patois when i'm passionate, you jumbalaya eating fuck.
and i know i'm late, though thread may restart or another may come up, in which case i'll copy and paste my post to it, you raasclart

"She's not as convoluted as you want to believe though"
That line directly contradicts with QM's
"oh yeah shadowrun all the time, go nuts, everyone's out to get you"
Speaking of,

>STUDENTU FILEO GETTORU
>>
>>44167796
Lol. I'm just giving you shit cause you've missed the last few threads. Tuesday should be the next one.

Since you're here though, feel like giving me critique on the rewrite of the intro? http://pastebin.com/YZfTBpR5
>>
>>44167861
I've made one or two posts in them

A "you" at the beginnning of paragraph 2 should be an "I"

carrying on reading now
>>
>>44167943
paragraph 3 I mean
"I packed your bags,"
crtl+f the words you, your, and any other third person personal pronouns m8
>>
>>44167959
Yea, I see it. I need other editors/rewriters, this is the first time I've done anything this long, but I figured it'd be a fun change, and I haven't worked on anything in forever.
>>
>>44167959
Do you think it reads as too impersonal? That's what I'm worried about for this bit. It's supposed to be a journal entry.
>>
>>44167981
Good luck creole scum, don't look at me cos I can't write for shit.

Since it's past tense and all, you could just be lazy and copy it to notepad and "find" and "replace" all third person pronouns with first person ones,
"you" to "I" and if it reads wrong change the "I" to "me"
"your" to "my" or sometimes "mine", same with "yours"

and proof read it to make sure it all makes sense. Also some "are" need to be changed into "am" and a bunch of other shit

Maybe if you're going with the journal style, put a little about me section where our name, appearance, and traits we picked first quest are. like "I am Oliver Spencer, and while I roamed from place to place I made the open road my home. I enjoy freedom whenever you can, whether indulging my penchant for theft or sprinting across rooftops and scaling fences. I'm quick and sly, and while i'm no braniac or social butterfly, i'm clever, observant and friendly."

Possible also segmenting it by days, (which are several runs long in this quest) which may be a little long.

>>44168138
A journal wrote while a teen? Even business emails teens write are impersonal, this is a private diary, I wouldn't be surprised if it was all in code words and slang

"n den i slipped the dawg sket my 3 fingahs beind da bins senpai"

You're not writing your own story, you're crhonicling someone else's essentially, so keeping the feel of the quest is important, so no changing too much.
>>
>>44168205
Freedom whenever I can*
missed one.
>>
>>44168205
Only the prologue there's going to be first person. The story itself is going to be third person. And the prologue is supposed to feel like someone's personal memoirs.

This is meant to turn into an actual book that we're gonna slap on the Kindle market for free from 4 leaf publications. Sorry if I didn't mention that.
>>
>>44168255
oh, aight.

so pretty meta then? As in there's a foreword from the target of the ghost written memoirs/biography, like it was written by someone in this quest after the events of the quest, and it's a part of his journal talking about the events?

Pretty cool actually if that's what you're going for.

I mean, I don't have a kindle or read shit that ain't got pictures or choices, since I only come here to shadowrun keeping you fucks alive , teach QM slang by shouting it at him, and shitposting.
>>
>>44168317
Yea. I may come up with some other shit to do in different variations of 1st person, like from different books and shit, mainly for GM notes, and general information type shit, but the goal is a proper book. It's been a while since anything decent's come from the 4 leaf groups, after all. And this premise is a gem, assuming we don't drive it into the ground with waifuism and infighting. BTQM's working with me on it. And I'd love if some other anons were interested.
>>
>>44168342
>this premise is a gem
Whether it's a diamond or a topaz remains to be seen, however.
>>
>>44168342
Well i'm interested mate, not that many skills though. i can proof read, correct grammar n shit, and you can bounce ideas off me, but that's about where my skills end it.

>>44168345
I prefer amethysts to be honest.

And if there wasn't tonnes of pressure involved with this, every quest would do it, so it's a diamond, just how nice the diamond comes out is what we'll wait to see.
>>
>>44168375
Honestly I prefer topaz more, I can drive 2 hours and dig diamonds out of the ground in arkansas

But if this is a diamond, it's definitely already a conflict diamond.
>>
>>44168407
African vampire warlords with hundreds of thralls in the mines uncovered this blood diamond, after a war with a werewolf warlord, blud.
>>
>>44168444
>African vampire warlords
Stop that trips. You'll make me reconsider my decision to not be a gun runner in africa.

And we aren't even going to talk about werewolves, or I'll cry myself to sleep over the fact that they aren't real.
>>
>>44166360
>>I'm gonna see if Sammy is back at her room. I'll keep you posted.
>>
>>44166394
maybe consider not running so late at night? Seems to bring out the worst in anons
>>
>>44168530
>worst
your opinion. Makes for interesting plot twists, imo.
>>
>>44168530
Some humans become more deranged as the moon draws closer. Side effect of a brain suspended in a significant amount of fluid.
>>
>>44168572
Is that, true?
That's fucked.
>>
>>44168807
No, it's not. It would mean people freak out at high tide and calm down at low tide. patently untrue.

If you have excess fluid in your brain you just die.
>>
Somebody should archive thread 15.
>>
>>44168807
Not provably, as far as I recall. There is some evidence that supports it, but not all of it does, and it's a difficult thing to do a proper study on, particularly because the common association between the moon and insanity can cause a self-fulfilling prophecy where people act crazier because they think the moon or night should make them act crazier.

I believe it due to personal experience and observable effects on my own behavior by myself and others since long before I had even considered it to be the moon's doing. Or maybe I just get crazy when the sun is down due to some other psychology thing. Brains can behave very strangely.

>>44168882
It's been a long time since I read anything on theories about it, but I recall there were a few suspected differences between humans that caused only some to be noticeably affected by the minor differences in gravitational pull. I can't remember most of them, but I think skull shape was one. In theory, you wouldn't need an excess of fluid.
>>
>>44166533
>>44166360
This works for me.
>>
>>44169238
>skull shape
>pointier head means brain gets smushed
I'll drink that kool-aid.
>>
>>44169563
Do you have any particular reason to think skull shape couldn't possibly play a part in a theory about gravitational pull causing pressure against certain parts of the brain resulting in behavioral changes? Or is it just the unfortunate associations with the term and discarding it out of hand?
>>
>>44169646
No, I meant that it seems reasonable even though I could find 0 scientific research supporting it. I'm sorry it seemed sarcastic, I really will drink that kool-aid, though. I doubt if it has much of am influence, but I'm willing to accept that it may have a subtle one, especially on those with genetic abnormalities and preexisting chemical imbalances.
>>
>>44169957
In that case, I'm sorry for misunderstanding your intent.
>>
>>44169999
Good quad steal, also, one would assume that anyone who suffered from such weak gravitational forces would suffer even more from the forces exerted on a roller coaster, or some such.
