Vince really needs a nerd friend to outsource his Intelligence rolls to.Alas, the only one he had a chance so far died because the other anons wanted their debit card back a little faster.>>44205229>>move deeper into food court>>44205229>>write-inWait, can't you search the cameras in the building yourself to find the enemy?Trace the network's...hub...thingy... whatever.
>>44205229>>move deeper into food court
>>44205229>>move deeper into food courtTime is short, cooking implements probably aren't that useful
>>44205229>search restaurants for useful items>trap the entrancetime to go Home Alone on these guys.
>>44205229>>write-inDo the cameras in Perseus show a good exit strategy somewhere?Or something of interest.
>>44205241You and Dev move deeper into the food court, Dev nervously handling the fire axe and you your pistols. You're still fiddling with the phone. It's occurred to you that you might be able to access a camera that'll give you a clear picture of your tormentor and so you flip through cam after cam of different bible scenes. You can see the 'pedes are on the move, rushing to the opposite side of the building to try and reach the staircase you assume is there. Finally you get an image of something else. Darkness, with a single red blinking light in the middle. For a second you think you've stumbled on a camera staring at itself in a dark mirror but then the image pans and you're looking down a long hallway which terminates in a chamber of white-blue light. In the center is a chair, no, a throne, silhouetted against the light. Then the camera's feed cuts off. Perseus switches automatically to the next cam, which shows the inside of an elevator. An elevator might be your salvation for getting to the ground floor or the roof (or to whomever is orchestrating this)... or it could be a deathtrap."What are you contemplating, Esperanza? We're in a dire situation here! We've gotta turtle up!"Dev is probably right, though you might be better off just running to try and make it to the next floor or the roof.>Search restaurants and fortify (roll 3d6+2 for scavenging and I'll ask for another roll after)>Try and find the elevator>Try and find another set of stairs to climb towards the roof>Write-in
Rolled 5, 5, 4 + 2 = 16 (3d6 + 2)>>44205360>Search restaurants and fortify (roll 3d6+2 for scavenging and I'll ask for another roll after)
Rolled 2, 4, 3 + 2 = 11 (3d6 + 2)>>44205360>>Try and find the elevatorThe throne room is probably in the lowest or highest level?
>>44205360>>Write-inThere must be a radio signal controlling the 'pedes.See if the Illegal can find and attack the system that's using that.
Rolled 4, 3, 6 + 2 = 15 (3d6 + 2)>>44205360>>Search restaurants and fortify (roll 3d6+2 for scavenging and I'll ask for another roll after)
>>44205404>>44205412>>44205465The first thing you do is run across to the opposite end of the food court and bar the door there. That'll keep the 'pedes out at least a little longer though probably not forever. They're metal doors but they do have little windows of reinforced safety glass that you can already hear the bug slamming themselves against. Nature finds a way, it seems. You search the old restaurants and find plenty of highly flammable and slippery oil and grease, which you might use as a final line of defense on your way to the exit (however you're planning to exit). You also find a huge reservoir of flaming hot sauce that might still be good, a bunch of breakable glass, and a half a dozen fire-extinguishers. There are also some caustic cleaning chemicals. With that and all the metal furniture around here, you might be able to make something if you work fast.>Give a basic plan and a roll of 1d100 to see how well you can execute it. Better plan will produce better results.
Rolled 52 (1d100)>>44205523Uhoh. Shards of glass and caustic chemicals would do well in combo with something that showers the swarm with it.Like with the pressure from a fire extinguisher.Once they break open safety windows to come in that is a useful choke point to riddle with bulllets.Metal furniture precariously balanced makes for good trap triggers I guess, bringing the caustic/hot sauce covered glass, in this Home Alone re enactment of Outer Kevin.
Rolled 60 (1d100)>>44205523Oh right and can use the furniture to turtle up, force the pedes to navigate a tangled mess of metal bars and broken glass coated in nasty chemicals/sauce, to buy time while riddling them with bullets.
>>44205523Get the biggest metal container. Light a fire under it.Pour all your caustic chemicals in the container.take any intact glass bottles you find and fill them with oil and a rag. Make molotovs. Fire extinguishers that have as much glass shards as you can wrapped around them hidden near the doors.
Rolled 100 (1d100)>>44205616forgot roll
Rolled 66 (1d100)>>44205523Fire extinguishers can burst and send shrapnel flying right?>>44205619Wow good thing I didn't go yet.
>>44205616Do we want to resort to fire yet? We still have to leave this room and don't want flames in the way, and might be destroying our last fire extinguishers.>You search the old restaurants and find plenty of highly flammable and slippery oil and grease, which you might use as a final line of defense on your way to the exit (however you're planning to exit).
>>44205619I really cannot argue with that, can I?But I think it deserves to be the start to the next thread. Not that I want to wimp out but it's 3 am and we've run 10 hours+, which is hardly the state for writing a prompt worthy of a 1/100 roll.I'm going to archive and clean up. If I get a good chance to run again this week I definitely will, otherwise next week, same timeslot.Keep posting if you want, I'll incorporate the best refinements into next threads prompt.
>>44205668Archived:http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive.html?searchall=exterminator+questThanks for sticking around tonight, I was a little worried about getting back off the ground again when we started if I'm being honest.

>>44205705>44194960 Exterminator Quest #33 Simmons attempts to calculate Vince's cash on hand. collective game, exterminator quest, horror, insects, fungus, cats, purifying flames, serial killer, milf, termites, centipedes, taco bell 2015-12-16We have new tags....And I didn't notice the serial killer, milf, tags that were new last thread until now.
>>44205705So in the future, all restaurants are taco bell, right?
>>44199941So $8041 was the last in-thread total mentioned in thread 22. Thread 26 added said $200 from Zheng plus $57 from a dead man plus pills that were entirely forgotten.8041+257=8298. Buying phones subtracted $565 to leave$7733. But got 300 for the term ite queen: 8033.Then paid Dev a bribe. >>43567782 $200. leaving $7833.Then spent $930 on Thursday expenses from >>44199690 leaving 6903, and adding $2100 from selling rats and mites to crusty left $9003.I think you gave vince an extra 60 dollars somehow to get 6963?Did Vince even get his salary this week, isn't that on Thursday. He got quite a few specimens over his first three days, and dealmaster'd Devlin-san pretty hard on Tuesday.
>>44205830I thought about this way too much just now.>>44205873I appreciate your thoughtful addition, anon. I think you are probably right. I would compare numbers but I swear to you my TI-83 died mid-quest today (despite fresh batteries) and I kind of lost what I was doing there.I have set a reminder to double check this as well as certain inventory items (some of which I also corrected before the thread today). If you enjoy number-crunching, I suggest continue to hold onto that desire at least until I run Mach Quest sometime down the road. I'm still working on that system and while it's a bit overwhelming for someone weak in math like myself, I'm hoping to achieve a decent simulation of high speed racing.
>>44205931>hasn't seen Demolition ManShould you be doing cheesy near future dystopia without that? Are we due more Yu files once we get back into range of phone reception?>Junior Secondary SchoolSo no more ultra-Americanized Hong Kong High School AU then.
>>44205931>my TI-83 died mid-quest today (despite fresh batteries)...Aren't you on a computer? And wait, why would you need it mid-quest and not between threads.
