---------------

You are Second Lieutenant CT-42/458, the air has brightened to near blinding levels, your ears are ringing, and before you rises a mushroom cloud that is roughly 20 meters tall. Distantly you hear warnings blare of the radiation outside, and you are informed that your suit has successfully isolated you from the outside.

You sit up, using your blaster carbine as a crutch, and push yourself towards the wall. You attempt to survey the area.

The door to the room Phi is shut, you assume from the shockwave of the nuclear warhead. The warped and broken remains of Jackpot's AT-RT are spread out on the ground before you, half melted, though you are unable to see the trooper.

The area around the epicenter of the blast has been utterly annihilated, and you spot the scattered bits and pieces of droids, AT-RTs, and your fellow troopers roughly 10 meters around, many having been embedded into the building Bandit's forces were holding up in.

Everywhere, you see carnage oversaturated to be colored in bright whites and greys that are seared into your mind. Terror threatens to well up inside you.

Stay. Professional.

You grit your teeth. Situational awareness, Lieutenant. You need it.

Shielding your viewports with your hand, the glare from the explosion is reduced enough for the AAT to come into view. As the brightening effect of the explosion fade, you are able to make out the details of its armor. Smoke rises from its engines and there are dozens of scorch marks and rends in the armor from where shells have bounced off.

Crudely painted along the left side of the AAT in bright yellow is the old symbol used to represent radioactive material. The emblem has been painted over the scorch marks, and you can see where the newly applied paint ran in rivers of yellow down to the ground below.

There is a second barrel attached to the underside of the primary, one that looks to only be loadable from the outside and has a diameter easily three times as wide around as the primary. The cannon lowers from its 45 degree angle and begins to move towards the blast zone.

You see a trooper, the one that tried to charge the AAT moments before the nuclear warhead was fired, laying on the ground, and the AAT hovering towards him. The trooper's armor looks to be severely melted to the point that the pieces have fused together, leaving him unable to do anything but move his hands and move his head from side to side, attempting to get a look at the approaching Separatist tank. The AAT moves over the helpless scout and holds position.

The AAT slams into the ground, its repulsors having cut out.

It rises into the air.

It slams down once more.

The tank repeats this a few more times, and you watch as its underside is soon coated in blood. As it moves on, all you can see is a red mush where the scout once was. A knot of disgust and panic wells up in your gut.

The sound of a tinny, crackling roar resounds through your ears. You spot a trooper in plain white armor sprint out of cover behind the AAT and rush towards it, attempting to aim his PLX-1 while moving. Big, you recognize.

"Big, dammit all, no!" Twitch coughs over comms.

Still he sprints. The AAT, noticing his approach, turns to face Big with his forward armor.

"I see now." Crusader rumbles. "That is the courage the essence of Mandalore grants us in times of need."

Big makes a bounding leap onto the AAT and crawls onto its turret.

"I shall join you, brother!" You see Crusader leap out from the store, his colors shining as brightly as the sun as he runs towards the AAT, his sword arcing through the air beside him as he draws it to bear.

Big stabalizes himself on the turret even as the AAT begins to weave back and forth in the attempt to shake him off. He brings his PLX-1 down at the command hatch of the AAT. His stilted speech calls out over comms. "Paingiver, you die now!"

He braces the launcher against his shoulder.

The command hatch of the AAT pops open, and you hear three reports of a weapon of the likes you have never heard before. The cracks that echo through the air result in Big's upper body jolting backwards, and you spot spurts of blood firing out his back. There were no bolts of blaster fire.

When Big does not fall backwards off the AAT, three more shots impact into him. He lurches back, but grabs ahold of the cannon before he tumbles off. The PLX-1 is dropped to the ground.

Crusader gives a pained roar over comms.

"Big get out of there you idiot!" Twitch weezes. "Dammit, we're all going to die here, Big if you die I'll kill you, you hear!"

Crusader is still 20 meters away when Big pulls himself back onto the turret, unholstering a blaster pistol.

"Don't worry." Big says. He sounds blissful. "Mandalore will prote-"

A human rises from the command hatch. A pistol, an old projectile launcher, is brandished. Another boom echoes through the air. Big's head whips back. The AAT rushes out of view as Big crumples onto the ground, limp.

Crusader crosses the final few meters to Big, sliding on his knees as he scoops up Big's body in his arms. You spot Xtreme exiting the store at this point, and Twitch limping out of the apartment building he and Big were occupying.

"Oh." Twitch mumbles. "Big is dead. He's actually dead." Twitch collapses against the wall behind him and slides to the ground. "Everyone's dying."

> [Cont.]
>>
>>44408644
"Your death shall be avenged, brother."

Crusader takes two fingers and dips them in the growing pool of Big's blood, after which he drags them across the forehead of his white helmet. As he rests Bigs body on the ground once more, the streaks of blood covering the rest of his armor begins to dribble down. He looks towards where the AAT retreated.

You push yourself up to your feet and lean against the wall, still trying to catch your breath.

Major Bandit comms you. "Lieutenant," His tone is bitter and tired. "We have reports of three battalions of droids marching at us from the East. Looks like the Separatists don't know when to quit. I'm pulling my boys back to the Hospital, we can escort your wounded pilot with us if you would like."

"They fucking nuked them." Twitch murmurs over comms. "They're just gone, blown to bits in a moment."

"They died fighting, Twitch." Crusader says. "That's th-"

"No, fuck you Mando!" Twitch snaps. "They weren't fighting for the glory of the Republic or that hellhole Mandalore, none of us are, don't you see?! We're all just pawns, disposable fodder to be thrown at the enemy so the corrupt Senate and their attack dogs the Jedi Order can remain in power! Our deaths mean nothing to them!"

Xtreme cuts in. "Twitch, Kenobi has always taken care of us the best he cou-"

"What, like back on Christophsis when he ran off to flirt with his Sith girlfriend when one of our own sabotaged our weapon's depot, nearly taking you and Jackpot out with his det charges?" Twitch points an accusing finger at Xtreme. "If it wasn't for the Commander, you would've died there betrayed by a fellow clone, you suicidal psychopath! Do you think that your death there would've meant anything?"

Twitch climbs back to his feet and limps towards where Crusader and Xtreme are standing. "Now the Separatists are taking us down one by one we have a Shiny new commander who will only get us killed with his stupidity, and all for what?"

Crusader and Xtreme stand, silent.

"Lieutenant," The medic comms. "Phi is ready for transport."

Bandit and his scout troopers are filing out of the building they were occupying and are moving towards you.

Twitch seems to be still talking at Crusader and Xtreme, as indicated by his agitated movements. They must have moved to a private channel.

You finally stand solidly on your two feet, breathing normally. You have a moment of respite before the next wave of enemies hit, and you are going to have reinforcements incoming at some point soon.

Everybody sound off status, injuries, ammo, and water.

We'll take our cues from the scouts and Major Bandit, they have more experience in fights like this. We need to hold on til we get our AT-TE and bring retribution down on these fuckers.

Am I understood?

"Dammit, you're just going to get us ki-"

"Continued insubordination will be punished, trooper." Your tone is cold. You walk towards Twitch.

"You can't do nothing against me, you blasted Shiny!" Twitch points an accusing finger at you.

"If you continue in this line of action, I will be forced to report y-"

"Bah!" Twitch throws his arms up into the air. "Report me? To who? The Captain's probably dead, Commander Cody is off with Kenobi who knows where-"

Xtreme, having shuffled next to Twitch during his ranting, slams his fist into his gut, cutting the angry trooper off.

You sigh in frustration.

"Twitch," Xtreme says. "We have a war to fight. We have brothers waiting for our support-"

"Droidekas, rolling in!" Crusader raises is pistol and begins firing at the incoming droids.

You and Xtreme raise your blasters and begin to fire as well.

"We're out of time! Crusader," You order. "Pick up Big, everyone else, get moving towards the depot!"

Crusader sheaths his vibroblade and tosses Big on his shoulder. Enemy blasterbolts fly around you as the four of you retreat to the storage building.

Twitch glares at you. "This isn't over yet." He raises his rifle and fires at another incoming Droideka, blasting it in half.

"Major," You comm. "We're making a run for the depot, can you cover us?"

"Copy that Lieutenant, your approach should be clear if you hurry."

"And what of Phi?"

"One of your troopers linked up with my Medic and are on the way to the Depot as we speak."

Must be Jackpot.

> [Cont.]
>>
>>44409674
"We have a narrow window to get to the depot. We need to move fast." You say.

"Yes sir." Crusader responds. You all begin running the 300 meters to the depot.

The Droidekas roll up behind you, but from the buildings to your right the scout troopers open fire. You hear the in-time march of B-1s and Super Battle Droids coming closer.

"Jackpot," You comm. "Status report? Where have you been, trooper?"

"Phi is safe," Jackpot's swift response springs forth from your speakers. "Hospital not secure, hostiles are beginning their assault. Phi is being moved to the medical facilities on AT-TE 7330." He deactivates his connection.

"We do not have a driver for the AT-TE, commander." Crusader says. "Where do you suggest we attain one from?"

"The Captain has to know where an extra one is." Xtreme says while firing his blaster over his shoulder. "We also need a replacement for Big."

Jackpot comms. "Other walkers need their drivers. I can occupy Phi's position if needed."

"Any clone can replace Big, and Jackpot not covering the rear could be bad. He's the best at his job, but not the greatest pilot." Twitch murmurs. "One of my workers can pilot the AT-TE as good as Phi can."

"I am far superior than you at piloting the AT-TE, Twitch." Jackpot responds.

"That's not saying much." He grumbles.

You could also pilot the AT-TE from the command seat, though it would reduce your ability to scan for enemies. A red bolt flashes past your shoulder, causing you to duck. Not that the location of the enemy droids are that much of a secret.

Where are the other walkers, you wonder.

They allow commanders to pilot for a reason, if your primary pilot goes down you can operate as a secondary one.

Droidekas are downright terrifying against infantry, however they are unable to utilize AT weaponry or improvise in even the slightest, pitting a tank against them should be a good move.

"Twitch," You say as you cross the threshold into the parking garage. "I will be needing that worker to drive for us."

"Sure, sure. Just let me comm them." Twitch responds.

As the four of you run into the garage, you see troopers lining the walls of the upper floor. Destroyed Supers and dead clones lay all around, and those left standing look to be mostly the walking wounded.

"Hold fire," One of the clones calls out. "We have friendlies coming."

"Crusader, is that you?" Another clone says. "Look, it's Xtreme too! The crew of the First Walker are here!"

Your sprint slows to a quick walk as the clones begin to cheer at your approach.

"Yes, yes, it is I." Crusader says. "Now, we will be needing a rear gunner for our purging of the Separatist scum. May I have a volunteer?"

All of the clones stand at attention and salute.

"It would be an honor to fight alongside you, sir!"

The four of you reach the defensive lines.

Xtreme simply stares past the clones.

"Which one of you can shoot the straightest?" Twitch asks.

"That would be Private Kep, sir." One of the clones steps forward. "He was the top of our class back on Kamino."

"Great, another shiny." Twitch mutters.

"Welcome, Kep!" Crusader booms, roughly patting him on the shoulder. "This is Second Lieutenant CT-42/458, he is your new commanding officer for this forray against the enemy. Do you understand?"

"Sir yessir!" The trooper yells.

Something on the upper floor catches your attention.

"Lieutenant," Twitch says as you walk to get a better view. " The walker is on its way and will arrive in a minute. They have Phi on board and he's being treated now. Let's stay here til they arrive."

You find yourself standing next to Xtreme when you finally see it.

AT-TEs, TX-130s, all of the battalion's vehicles are burning. The refueling stations and munitions stockpiles have been severely damages or utterly obliterated, and trooper bodies lay all around along with even more Supers.

"Kep," You say. "What happened to the motor pool?"

"The Supers hit the vehicle bay first, sir." Kep says. "They came in from the roof, and we were out of position to repel their attack."

"And the other tank crews?"

"They were ordered to report to Captain Doubles for a briefing. I assume they must all be at the Hospital now. Is that where we will be going, sir?"

You share an uneasy glance with Crusader. "Jackpot will likely know what occurred, Commander." He responds.

The sound of an AT-TE moving fast echoes through the parking garage.

"No Kep. We have some Droidekas to eliminate first."

AT-TE 7330 bounds into view before skidding to a stop. You can see that the Mass Driver position has been completely enclosed in durasteel armor, and you think that the barrel is longer and broader as well.

"Well come on then!" A female voice says over your comms. "Twitch, get in, we don't have all day!"

"Carla," Twitch says. "What in blasting hell are you doing there? Where's Xeld?"

"A Rolly Polly got him real good, Xeld can't really pilot all that well right now, so he sent me up instead." The canopy to the cockpit opens as well as the entrances to the interior of the AT-TE and a door that opens to the Pass Driver gunner's seat. A redheaded girl stands from the driver's seat and waves you all towards her. "Hurry up!"

You turn to Twitch. "Is she up to the task?"

Twitch grumbles. "Sure, sure, she can do it. Come on, newbie." The five of you begin jogging down towards the AT-TE. "The mass driver has been upgraded like you ordered. X, it's just like Bertha from the First Walker."

> [Cont.]
>>
>>44410807
Xtreme begins his mad giggling behind you. He runs out ahead of you and leaps for the side of the AT-TE, scrambling up the side before climbing into the mass driver. The door closes behind him.

"Jackpot, what's the status for my new baby?" He asks gleefully over comms.

"Everything is green." He responds. You are climbing into the command seat of the AT-TE as the rest of your crew enters.

You run your check up, activating scanners, patching into communications, closing all doors and hatches, and opening your tactical map. To your south is the company of Droidekas still in contact with Major Bandit's scouts, it seems that a force of B-1s have marched in from the southwest and are suppressing their retreat to the depot. To the southeast there are multiple companies of Super Battle Droids marching in as well as a platoon of STAPS. To the east, the other two batallions of droids are marching on the Hospital. You can see the rest of yoru battalion holding up in that building, as well as a large number of Loyalists. Nothing is currently incoming from the North, but they may be out of sensor range at the moment.

"Where are we headed, Lieutenant!" The girl's gleeful voice sounds through your comms. You look up, and you see she is not wearing a helmet, or a Republic uniform. Just who is this person?

"March south, get us an angle to combat the enemy infantry and give support to Major Bandit's troops."

"Yessir!" The AT-TE begins to plod out of the garage.

"Everyone, system checks." You order.

"Forward turrets are primed and ready to obliterate the enemy, sir." Crusader states.

"Rear turrets are active." Jackpot says.

"Ready up here, Lieutenant!" Xtreme responds.

"Solid copy, hold fire until I order it."

You scan the southern flank for a more detailed report of the situation. Major Bandit was fighting a bounding retreat against the Droidekas and had been caught out of position by the B-1s, and he looks to be currently pinned down in one of the apartment complexes. The Super Battle droids are marching through the storage building you were taking cover behind before, and they seem to be wanting to open another flank so to fire upon Bandit's forces from the east.

The droid forces marching on the Hospital are getting closer, despite the valiant effort of your brothers. You hope they can hold out.

You open up communications with Captain Doubles as AT-TE 7330 marches south.

"Captain, this is Lieutenant CT-42/458 reporting, what is your situation?"

"Good to hear from you!" Doubles responds. You hear heavy blasterfire in the background. "We have droids inside the walls again, command said reinforcements are still 15 minutes out, and I'm craving a cup of tea. What is your situation, Lieutenant?"

"Well," You pause. "Phi has been critically wounded, and we lost Bigs. The AT-RT compliment sent to reinforce the southern flank have been killed to a man by a nuclear warhead."

"The Nationalists are using nukes?" Doubles asks. "I thought the Loyalists said that they had rounded up all the warheads when the civil war started. Looks like we received terrible intel, yet again. We will probably have to go hunt down their stockpile, and if I know Kenobi, he will want to be on the front line for that mission. How is the depot holding up?"

"Heavily damaged, sir. Many of the walkers and tanks were hit by enemy SBTs. I do not know if anything is salvageable. It is currently being defended by a platoon of troopers."

"Not good, not good at all my boy. Wait, one second." Doubles' comms go silent for a moment before returning. "Sorry about that, I had to dodge a Droideka. I see you are moving south to support Major Bandit. Keep up the good work, and give us some support once you've cleared out the droids! Captain, out."

It looks like Captain Doubles is holding the line quite well. During the course of your conversation, AT-TE 7330 has reached a position where it can support the suppressed scouts. "Carla, hold here." You say.

"Solid copy, skipper!" Is the cheerful reply, and the AT-TE halts. Before you, the SBTs are just breaking through the wall of the storage building and are marching towards Bandit's forces. The Droidekas are at where the warhead had struck, and the B-1s are at the threshold of the apartment complex.

"All gunners, you are free to fire at will."

> [Cont.]
>>
>>44412672
Xtreme gives a boisterous whoop as his mass driver rotates to face the Droidekas and begins to fire. The forward turrets pivot out, Crusader firing upon the SBT's on your right while Jackpot splits his fire between the Droidekas and the B-1s.

Mass driver shells fall amongst the enemy at a rate far surpassing what it was before, and you see that the yield of the explosions are much larger. Droidekas are either sent up into the air in scraps, blown onto their sides, or their shields fall making them easy prey to Twitch's shots. The Droideka lines are in disarray.

The Supers face the focused fire of two laser cannons, and due to the narrow corridor they created for themselves while walking through the concrete walls, they are taken down one by one and have little to no chance for firing back.

Unfortunately, the SBTs soon begin to force their way through the wall in other areas, and after a couple minutes have passed, you count that there are a total of 5 different openings in the building for the droids to walk through. Despite Crusader's best efforts, the heavily armored droids are beginning to force their way into the open. Supers carrying rocket launchers enter the area and begin to fire upon both AT-TE 7330 and the building the scouts are holding up in.

The single laser cannon firing into the B-1 lines is holding off the droids from directly entering the building, but succeeds in doing nothing else.

The scouts rally under your support and focus their fire on the approaching B-1s and the incoming SBTs. As rockets begin to bounce off your armor and explode against the apartment complex, the return fire from the scouts begins to diminish, but not falter.

"Thanks for the support, Lieutenant!" Bandit comms you. "When we find a bar on this bloody planet, I'll be owing you another drink!"

"Just remember Major," You respond as you pull up your scanners once more. "Your first drink is on me for saving us back there."

"Good to hear! You and my boys should be able to clear these droids out in no time."

Expanding your sensors, you keep an eye our for potential enemy reinforcements. Time passes as your scans are taking place.

"Yeah, you get'em Twitch!" Carla calls out as Twitch takes out another Droideka. The Droideka line have been mostly decimated at this point. "This is amazing! Look at all these parts that are flying about! Ooo, Oo, Twitch, what all do you think we can attach to the walker? I'm thinking Droideka blasters added on to your laser cannons, your rate of fire really is not all that high on those things, and maybe we cou-"

"Carla," Twitch says. "Will you please cut the chatter? Direct your questions to the Lieutenant, or don't ask them at all."

Your comm pings. "Lieutenant!" Carla sounds extremely excited, and you can see her looking in all directions beneath you in the driver's seat, trying to take in all aspects of the battle at once.

"So, what's your name?"

"CT-42/458."

"Not your number, silly, I want to know your name." She giggles.

You do not know how to respond.

"I, uhm.."

"Hey, a Jedi got your tongue? No need to be shy with me, I'll always be open with you."

Your scans come back, and you gladly shift your attention to the results.

Your heart drops.

"Hey, what's wrong?" The girl sounds honestly concerned. What, because you don't have a name like the others?

Remember, Stay Professional, you have a battle to win, and the news is not good.

You comm Bandit and the Captain. "We have a C-9979 flying low over the outskirts of the city, probably to avoid Republic sensors. It is moving towards our front, and looks to be getting into position to drop troops close."

Captain comms, "Any fighter escort?"

You examine the scans once more. "No, sir, just the landing craft."

> [Cont.]
>>
>>44412717
"Bloody hell, it must have gotten through the space battle." Bandit says. "Can we hold against that number of forces, Captain?"

"Well Major, I'm currently down to 50 men and hundreds of droids are banging on my door. What's your count?"

"25, with 14 wounded. Without the Lieutenant's support, I doubt we could hold this front."

"Without that AT-TE, this Hospital will fall." Doubles' normally jovial tone has turned grave.

A silence falls over comms.

"Lieutenant," Carla is standing on her seat, looking back at you with bright green eyes. "Did I say something wrong?"

The company of STAPs appear to your rear, but their numbers are greatly reduced as Jackpot and Kep fire upon them.

"We got Flyers behind us, Lieutenant!" Kep calls over comms.

If the depot is on the way back to the hospital then have them hold until we link up and then we move back in force. But if we're at different flanks to the hospital we should both move back at the same time

> [] Keep an eye to the sky, see if the C-9979 does not come into view.

>>44412822
Try not to cluster to much, nukes remember. But otherwise good plan, not really many options. Should probs let the little red head know she's doing great just keep up the good work, give her a thumbs up since she is clearly a little worried and we don't want the driver skittish.
>>
>>44412934
In order to reach the Hospital, you will have to walk back north around the long storage building and then walk east past the Depot.

And just to reiterate: CT-42/458 can only make a maximum of two orders at this time. Minor actions such as >>44412959 do not stand as full orders and thus can be enacted as fluff.

Scanners only picked up enemy droid contacts, no biologicals. Not even that tank that nuked you earlier showed up.
>>
I'll keep voting open for a little while longer. Sometimes it's hard to get a feel for how many are playing, how many are lurking, how many are simply popping in late while doing other things, etc.

Voting for doing more than 2 orders can lead to.. Consequences.

"Hey." She pouts. You glance up at her and are immediately enraptured by how her eyes seem to explode with color. You liken it to when the sun was glinting off the transports when you landed on the planet, but green instead of white. You feel you could swim in those eyes for ages, and everything in the world would be at peace for you. Is this what women are like? You have heard tales from your fellow trainees, your old crew, but you never had the chance to experience it yourself.

You shake your head and blink rapidly. Remember trooper, stay professional. You give her a thumbs up, prompting her to cock her head to the side and furrow her brow.

"What?" She asks. You do not have time for her distractions.

"Carla, please return to your seat. We will be needing to move to pick up the Scout troopers on my order." You say, trying to keep your voice from wavering.

"Yessir!" She chirps, and with an offhand salute she twirls back into her seat. You shake your head. No time for that now.

You comm Major Bandit. "Sir, I am going to be making a push to extract your forces, I need you ready to move."

He respods. "What for, Lieutenant?"

"We need to consolidate our forces, we are too spread out and the enemy are too many."

There is a pause. Xtreme fires a shot into the center of the SBT formation, sending bits in all directions.

"Carla, move towards the scouts now."

"But that will expose our side to those grey ones!" Carla whines.

You grit your teeth. You do not have time for back talk right now. "Hurry along Carla, we have lives to save."

After receiving a mumbled "Yessir." from her-seriously, she was joyous one second and now pouting the next-Bandit comms you back.

"We will link up on the northern side of the building, do you copy that Lieutenant?"

"Solid copy. Get in quick Major, we will not have much time."

AT-TE 7330 plods forth into the remains of the enemy. Rear cannons are firing at a steady pace. Crusader focuses his guns on the approaching SBTs and succeeds in heavily suppressing their advance. Dozens of bolts are piercing through the enemy ranks, cutting down enough to force them back into the safety of the building. Then, both of his guns overheat and you hear him cursing over the comms.

"Damned machines, you cannot handle the power Mandalore fills you with! You are trash compared to the glorious guns of the First Walker!"

"Hey!" Clara yells. "Don't you go and be mean to her! You gotta be gentle with her, y'know?"

"Gentle? Her?" Twitch asks. His cannons go silent. "What are you, a nut? Are you one of those psychos that believe machines have 'spirits' within them that need to be 'sated' with ridiculous rituals? Blast it all to hell, I thought I hired better help!"

"Guys, I can't be shooting everywhere at once!" Xtreme calls out, his mass driver rotating towards the SBTs now newly coming forth from the building. A shell lances out, the recoil shifts the upper half of the AT-TE, and a large swath of the building is annihilated in a massive puff of smoke.

A pair of B-1 droids pop around the corner to your southwest. You and Carla spot it at the same time.

"Twitch, rocket!" The both of you yell.

"What, what are you on ab- Ah hell." Twitch's cannons begin to fire, but too late. The two missiles fire out towards you. One collides with your front left door, and the second hits the new armor protecting Xtreme.

"Uh," Carla begins as her sensors screech data at her. "Left front door, inoperable? And minor damage at, uhm, the mass driver! X, you okay up there?"

"Twitch, what the blazes is wrong with you?" Xtreme proclaims.

"Ah, shut it you nut." His cannons fire into the B-1 lines before passing the corner of the building, but they are now beginning to occupy the building. At this point your AT-TE has reached Bandit's waiting men.

Bandit comms you. "We are ready to load in, open the doors Lieutenant."

"Copy that." You open the right side hatches. "Crusader, Jackpot, report."

The rear cannons fire as one, and you see the burning wreckage of a STAP corkscrew through the air into an approaching anti tank SBT, the two exploding in a fireball that closes the remaining hole through the storage building.

"We got them all, Lieutenant." Kep says.

Good to hear. your exterior doors close up. "We're strapping in now Lieutenant, and your medical droid is already attending to my boys."

"Roger that Bandit. Carla," you say, "Get us to the depot, now."

"Yessir!"

The AT-TE slowly resumes its plodding pace, but soon the tank is reaching just a little less than full speed. It whips around the building to your north, Jackpot and Kep providing good cover fire against the droids. Multiple rockets launch out from their position, but none are able to hit you.

You comm the troops at the Depot. "This is Lieutenant CT-42/458, we are approaching your position and are on the move to reinforce the Hospital. Do you copy?"

The same trooper that pointed out that Crusader was a crewmember of the 'First Walker'-a fairy tale, of course, there is no way that your crew are the crew of that particular legend-comms you in return. "Corporal Dodger here, I copy that sir. I will get my men moving so we can join you."

"We have a couple companies of B-1s marching from the south Cor-"

"Dammit, dammit all!" Captain yells over comms, cutting you off. "Droidekas, everywhere! They're cutting down my boys! Lieutenant, if you can hear me, you need to double time it to my location immediately!"

On the tactical map, you see the literal swarm of droids marching on the Hospital and dread fills your gut as you note the distance between you and that building. You check back on the C-9979, and you see that it is now over the middle of the city, and it looks to be moving directly for the open ground between you and the Hospital.

Overhead you see 5 laser blasts lance out towards the west, and you hear over comms a new voice. On your tactical map to your west you see 5 approaching LAATs.

"This is General Kenobi, we have been hit! We are going down, repeat, we are goin-" All five gunships blink off of your map. They crashed somewhere to the west of the depot, along the road.

"Lieutenant," Bandit comms. "Did you hear that?"

"Yes I did."

"If we leave them without support, they will likely be forced to fight against the droids we left to our south. Do your scanners indicate any more forces coming from that direction?"

New contacts ping on your map. "Another company of Supers, along with," You pause. "A platoon of GATs."

"And any AT-TEs Kenobi might have brought would not have survived that crash," Was Major's sober response.

"Lieutenant, do you copy!" Captain again yells over comms. "We are being overrun!"

"What are we going to do, Lieutenant?" Carla whispers in the cockpit.

Are the first rolls from each set, and they together constitute the rolls of a single character. The system I am trying out is not "Roll three times and choose the best of all of them," instead the sets of three all must beat a DC I have in mind for that particular character for that particular action. Some characters have higher DCs than others, and that's why critical failures or successes do not immediately fuck you up or win the day.

So if the DC was 6, then the set of 8, 3, and 8 would pass the dc because two of the three numbers either met or surpassed the DC. The increased effect of numbers as stated last thread are still in effect, though it also pertains to the set as a whole. So if the set were instead "8, 1, 8," and the DC was still 8, the action would still succeed but something may go wrong in the process of it.

Does that make sense?

Basically: Tons of behind the screen stuff.
>>

I was asking about the numbers in 'CT-42/458', actually, i already knew what the roll columns were. sorry i wasn't clearer.
>>
>>44417941
Oh, that's alright. I'm not sure, they just occurred to me as I was creating his character.

Now, it just feels right to type out his designation, you know? And I feel it flows off the tongue quite nicely.

Basically: I chose it at random. Why I kept it? Aesthetics, I guess.

Now, back to writing.

"Corporal," You comm. "We will be moving past your position in a couple of minutes. Once we arrive, I need your men to pile as many onto my walker as possible, we need to move to the Hospital as quickly as possible. Understood?"

"Sir, yes sir."

"Captain," You switch channels. "We are moving to your position now with reinforcements. Kenobi has crash landed to our west and will be moving in shortly. Can you hold?"

"Ah, my boy." Heavy blasterfire can be heard in the background. "You get that cannon here and fire it where I tell you to, you hear? We will hold with all our might. Captain, out."

"Alright, Carla, park us in front of the Depot. Xtreme, I want you to keep an eye out on the sky, see if you can get a shell into the C-9979 as it approaches, I have a feeling it is going to land right on top of us, and your gun is the only defense we have against it."

"Shooting down one of those fat birds? Crusader, how many kills do you think that is?"

"Not now X," Crusader grunts. Your internal sensors show that he has disconnected the power supply to the right laser cannons. "I am trying to fix this mess."

"Awe, I thought Mandalore could help you overcome any challenge!" Xtreme laughs.

AT-TE 7330 pulls up to the front entrance of the Depot and you open its right hatches. The platoon of infantry march out to meet you, many only armed with blaster pistols or carbines. You spot a single soldier with a heavy weapon, a gatling laser. If these troopers were to have been forced to hold against the GATs, you are sure it would have been impossible for them to survive.

"Hey, Jackpot!" Xtreme calls out. "How many kills would one of those transports count as?"

"One," Is the curt response.

"What? Come on, that's not fair!" The mass driver turret elevates to aim over the nearby rooftops. "It would have to count for at least 20 armored kills!"

"The C-9979 is a single target. Neutralizing it would be eliminating a single foe, not many."

> [Cont.]
>>
>>44419145
You can feel Xtreme deflate. "You know, you are no fun, Jacky."

"All loaded up, Lieutenant. We have a good number of us holding onto the top, but we should be alright." The Corporal comms.

"Copy that, closing all exterior hatches. Carla, take us to the Hospital."

"I hear ya, Lieutenant!" The AT-TE begins its slow acceleration to a trot.

The power supply is reconnected to Crusader's turrets. "I think I have repaired it! Ready for combat, sir."

"Carla, can you do be a fa-"

"Separatist transport at the rooftops!" Xtreme calls out. His mass driver immediately begins opening fire. You watch as the shells arc through the air, but all of them slam into the buildings below it. The C-9979 slowly dips back down below the buildings.

"Ah blast it. I scared it off, at least."

As you reach the extreme range for your laser cannons, you focus your scanners on the enemy forces, looking in particular for biologicals. The Nationalist forces have yet to make another appearance in this battle, and you wonder why that is.

In the meantime, you are able to determine that the force of Droidekas, though diminished slightly, have control of most of the rooms on the north western and south western wings. Doubles and his men are shored up on the second floor in the south western wing. The B-1s are occupying the center of the building, likely rebuilding the power supply to the building and setting up defenses, while the Supers are moving around the building to the north. They seem intent on flanking your troopers.

Where is the general for this army? They seem to have a commanding view of the battlefield-

Wait, there, a biological contact. It is approaching the room where Doubles is fighting his desperate last stand.

"Doubles," You comm. "I think the enemy general is advancing on your position as we speak!"

"Ah, my boy, it's her." The Captain sighs.

"Wait, her? Who are you talking about?"

> [Cont.]
>>
>>44419164

"You'll understand soon. Inform me when you are 50 meters out."

The Supers are now rounding the northern corner.

You find yourself pointing at the approaching enemy. "Crusader, suppressing fire on those battle droids!"

"May these CIS Scum burn by my righteous fury!" Crusader roars. A single laser blast shoots forth-

A massive fireball blooms out to your right, and Carla has to struggle to keep the AT-TE from tipping over on its side. You hear the yells of clones who have lost their hold and tumble off onto the ground below.

"Crusader, what the hell was that?" Twitch screams. Your sensors blare: Fire in the Internal Compartment.

"I seem to have misjudged my repairs." Crusader sounds meek.

"My sensors are reporting a fire back there, I need you to get it out!" You state.

"Mando, your console is on fire! Get out of there!" Twitch orders, "Kep, kid, get up here and put this out!"

It seems that your right laser cannons have been taken out of action.

You are now within 50 meters, with a legion of Supers marching on your right flank. You need to counter them.

"X-" You try.

"Sir, The transport is coming in to our south!" Xtreme says. "I have the shot! I just need to like it up-"

"Lieutenant! Are you within range?" Doubles comms.

"I am Captain, but we ha-"

"You have a lock on my location, correct?"

"Of course si-"

"Mass driver shell! Now!" Doubles screams over the headset. You heard the sound of a lightsaber extending and swishing through the air, a wave of blaster fire, and the sounds of your brothers dying in droves.

Your heart drops. A Sith? Here?

> [Cont.]
>>
>>44419193
"Sparks," Doubles whispers with you still patched in. "Are the charges on the reactor set?"

"Of course, my Captain." Sparks sounds absolutely elated.

"Good. Ventress, you Sith scum, you will not escape me again!" Doubles roars.

The rockets from the anti tank SBTs are flying around your hull, and while the troopers up top are firing back, they are homing in too quickly.

The C-9979 is slowly approaching the area behind you. You can see its laser cannons tracking your movement, and you can feel the crosshairs line up against the AT-TE.

Your tactical map shows that the platoon of GATs are just now reaching the church where you spent the night, how long ago that now feels, but they are racing towards your position, the enemy infantry not far behind.

"Lieutenant!" Carla's shrill response resounds in the cockpit. "What do we do?"

After you follow orders, it looks like you want to turn towards the Supers and take them out as you run. From there, well, the situation may be drastically different.

You're lucky lower was better. So damn lucky.

The clouds have moved in during your sprint to support your Captain, and now the sky above has unleashed a downpour upon the battlefield. All at once the drops slam into your speeding AT-TE. You have but a moment to decide, but you know what you must do.

A Professional soldier is a good soldier, one that always follows orders. Regardless of the consequences.

"Xtreme." Your voice is cold, certain. You can feel Carla's concern through her body language. You ignore it. You have a duty to follow.

"Direct your aim at the Captain's location."

"What? Lieutenant, I-"

"It is a direct order from the Captain himself. Aim, and fire." You will not tolerate insubordination in this moment.

The mass driver was aimed at the incoming C-9979, directly 90 degrees to the left from the cannon's forward facing position. Xtreme, after a moment, rotates his cannon towards the objective.

Within 10 minutes, it will land and begin to offload more dealers of mechanical death upon these lands.

That is not your mission right now. You have been given orders.

"Carla, please slow down the AT-TE. We need the walker stable." The panic in your gut is no more. It has been replaced by cool confidence.

Your comm pings.

"Well well, Sith, it looks like you have finally cornered me." Doubles is speaking to the enemy. He must be comming you in as a witness to his final moments.

A male voice responds. "Come out, clone."

"Wait, you are not Ventr-"

> [Cont.]
>>
>>44420841
You are close enough to see the beam of green lash out and stab through the air. You hear Doubles grunt in pain.

Confusion and rage well up inside of you. A Jedi? Leading the Separatists?

"Ventress, you say? That cow? She is nothing more than a pawn to my plans. You, you pathetic inhuman slime, you are just another obstacle." His voice is filled with anger, though yours is far more powerful than his.

"Xtreme. We have a traitor Jedi inside there." You state. The atmosphere of the walker immediately turns from anxious to hostile. "Are you able to fire?"

"Yes sir." Xtreme once again sounds similar to you, cold, calculating, ready to enact the wrath of the Republic on its enemies.

Doubles laughs over your commlink. You pause for a brief moment to hear his final words.

"Your plans end here, traitor."

The blinds covering half the window are torn down, and you are able to see the details of the fallen Jedi. Another human donning a dark green robe, and when it turns to face the window, you see a spark of green in his eyes.

"Fire-"

"Jared?" Carla cries out as you order. The Jedi looks directly at your pilot. You can see the terror in his eyes.

The shell locks into place. The mass driver shifts ever so slightly to the left. You can feel Xtreme press the button to let loose death.

In that same instant, Carla slams on the brakes of the AT-TE. As the fore area of the walker pitches forward, so does the barrel of the mass driver. The shell lances out, and immediately you see that it is too low, far too low. The Jedi can see it as well, and as the shell penetrates the glass, he is already leaping towards your walker.

The AT-TE skids to a stop. The room explodes in a massive fireball. Your connection with the Captain cuts out into static.

The Jedi lands right on the canopy, and he stares into Carla's eyes.

You hear the girl sob. "No, not you too." She reaches a hand towards him.

> [Cont.]
>>
>>44420860
His hood falls back and you see his shock of red hair. How incredibly unlikely, this filth of an exJedi is related to your pilot?

A grin spreads across your face. You will rejoice in his blood.

"Crusader." You comm. The troopers on top begin their futile attempts to blast the Jedi. He flips over you and out of sight. "Purge."

You activate one of the external cameras. Droidekas roll up to the windows, but Twitch is already firing into the building, neutralizing contacts before they can pose a threat. Good.

The feed shows the despicable Jedi doing acrobatics around the troopers as they try to fire at him. You watch as head fly, bodies flop to the ground, the mass driver rotate towards the approaching SBTs. The top hatch opens up, and watch as a vengeful Crusader rises with his vibroblade drawn.

The remaining troopers retreat to the back half of the AT-TE. SBT rockets whizz by, but the two stand facing against each other. Crusader, still covered in Big's dried blood, glints even in the darkness the downpour provides. You can see the Jedi waver for a moment, then you watch him laugh. You hear nothing, now even Crusader's response. Fitting.

All you can hear is the sound of torrential rain and the desperate sobs of Carla.

"Carla," you say as tears cling to your throat as well. The mass driver finishes its rotation and locks onto the enemy droids. "Fear not. I have lost brothers as well this day. But remember this, and be joyous: the Republic shall be victorious in the end."

Her cries do not stifle, nor do they grow worse.

The Jedi and Crusader charge at each other, the colors of your crew member's armor flashing and refracting through the rain. The mass driver fires, and you can feel the droids get obliterated.

The recoil makes the Jedi unbalanced, letting Crusader get the first attack, an upward two handed swing from his right side. The jedi blocks the attack by the barest of measures, but he is forced to leap away to keep from stabbing himself.
>>
>>44420893

Crusader does not let up the pressure, swinging again and again against the retreating Jedi's faltering defense. As they grow closer to the cockpit, you can hear the sounds of their blades clashing, and you can see how furious Crusader's blows are.

Where the Jedi has become clumsy and off balanced, Crusader has become graceful. It's only from the Jedi's reliance on the force that he can block the blows as they come. Because of that they are currently evenly matched, though it is obvious to both that Crusader has the advantage.

The C-9979 is still attempting to land behind you. There are no longer men for you to reinforce here. A icon has appeared on your command console. A timer, that will end in 5 minutes. That will be almost exactly when the C-9979 will fly over the Hospital, and it should be enough time for you to get out of range of the explosion.

You look down to the sobbing Carla. It looks as if you will have to pilot the walker yourself if you want to move.

Crusader lands a deep gash in the Jedi's leg during an overhead swing, and it is enough to make the fallen Jedi fall to one knee. He deactivates his lightsaber and holds his hands up in surrender.

You do not trust his intentions for a moment, and neither does Crusader. He lifts his broad vibroblade over his head, and pauses.

He is waiting for your order.

That was amazing to write. I hope it was enjoyable to read.

>>44421228
The Depot is the closest defensive position your forces can utilize against the incoming enemy Infantry and, more importantly, their tanks, the GATs, pic related.

Linking up with Kenobi is more about linking all the forces in the area and basically reporting to your superior officer for orders.

>>44421184
You absolutely could order Xtreme to put fire into the transport as you move.

I count 6 for returning to the Depot and 4 for linking up with Kenobi.

Alright, I require 3d10 this time.

Because I like how it worked out, any time you are facing a force user, the rolls will be inverted.

This means that the first of the three d10s will be treated as normal, where higher is better. The second will be lower is better. The third returns to normal.

If you do not like this, I can retract my decision if it pleases you.

Only rolls directly concerning jedi is it better for the rolls to be low.

To reiterate once more: Dice rolls in this quest are particular to the people you give your orders to, and you want to think of them as being in vertical columns instead of horizontal rows. That's why I have begun asking for multiple rolls with multiple die rather than single dice rolls.

One is fun if a little stock but 2 imo is fucking amazing, its the Empire strikes back to 1's A New Hope (a lot of bugs though and the great writing upsets SW purists) Restored content mod is a bust.

the writing is a little polarizing, the main writer (who also wrote Planescape Torment). It asks questions and makes the player defend their choices and viewpoints on things.

the first one is more conventional and simple. Republic is good, Sith is Evil. pure vanilla, nothing wrong with that, it's the flavor you can always come back to and standard SW operating procedure.

2's setting is deeper and darker. Shades of Gray choices and characters. Some feel that its just shitting on star wars mythos/feel/etc by not following the traditionally black and white dichotomy if you look at it from that certain point of view.

Kotor 1's morality choices felt pretty stark. buy stuff from a widow to support her family or mind trick her into forking over the swag for free.

Kotor 2 has you deciding to give two tickets off world to either a Republic spy illegally on the planet, a war widow, a stranded freighter captain, a criminal that will to pay you a lightsaber crystal, or a merchant that will pay good credits for it.

I love the companions, I love the villains, I love the story. I felt the consequences of my actions more in 2 than 1. Its my favorite game of all time.
Kreia you will either love or hate.
>>
KOTOR 1 is a reconstruction of Star Wars
KOTOR 2 is a deconstruction of Star Wars
Both are goddamn amazing.

Roll scout/consular, put all your points into wisdom, multiclass into weapon master in the second. Max force speed and flurry as soon as you can, and don't get too attached to blasters in the first, they're kind of shit. They're viable but difficult in the second, save them for hard mode replay. Go with dual wielding or double blades.

Talk to your companions constantly, they all have personal quests. You'll need good repair skills for the droid companions. Go to Korriban last in the first, early in the second, but remember to revisit it later. Talk to HK-47 and Canderous a lot, they have good stories. Tease Bastila, it's funny.

Don't roll female in the second without the Handmaiden mod, Disciple is boring and useless.

Play the second with the restored content mod. Under absolutely no circumstances even think of downloading M4-78, it's a pile of shit.
>>
So guys, do we have a plan to actually survive this day? We can try to repair up and maybe do the old fashioned trick of hauling scrap on the sides of the tank to soak up a few anti tank rounds.
>>

We've salvaged all the forces we can from the Depot and Hospital. Nothing left to do here but die heroically. The only friendly forces in the area are General Kenobi's men, or what's left of them.

Remember the Imperial Guard NCO Disaster Response Checklist.
• Step 1: Secure the perimeter
• Step 2: Determine chain of command
• Step 3: Call for backup if needed
• Step 4: Establish contact with friendlies
• Step 5: Combine forces with friendlies and repeat

We're somewhere between Step 3 and Step 4.

"Crusader." You are calm and collected. "Eliminate the traitor."

You transfer control of the AT-TE to your console. You always preferred to command than drive, mainly because you could not get the balance right in the simms to get those walkers past a combat approach speed. As you turn the walker around to head back to the depot, you find that the balance issue is exactly the same. You feel extremely uncomfortable trying to accelerate to the speed that both Phi and Carla pushed the walker to.

It provides an interesting dilemma. You are exactly the same as your brothers in every way but age. Is that such an important factor? Or is it something else?

You push your musings away for now and look back at the external camera. Crusader should have dealt with the traitor by no-

The Jedi's lightsaber is extended again, and the two are currently locking blades. The Jedi's face is contorted in an obscene, primal snarl as he uses his body to push into Crusader with a strength not shown just a minute earlier. Crusader stands solid against the push, and you see his helmet move as you presume he responds to something the Jedi was saying.

So this is the power of the force. Giving the fallen Jedi a second wind. No matter, you trust that your crew will take care of him.

Your rear turrets begin opening fire, and at a quick glance you see they are engaging the next line of SBTs as they round the northern corner. You are already out of their effective range, but still they fire towards you.

"Xtreme," You say as you switch back to the feed watching Crudader and the Jedi. They seem to have now disengaged from their blade lock, and the Jedi is once more jumping and flipping about, putting Crusader on the defensive with attacks from all directsion.

"Yes sir?" Xtreme comms. It seems you got distracted.

"Turn to face the incoming C-9979 on my mark, full rotational speed." You pay close attention to the Jedi's patterns. You are going to give him a little surprise.

> [Cont.]
>>
>>44428983
The sobs from the pilot's seat have gone silent, and you note that Carla is also watching the fight unfold. Good.

You open communications with Crusader in a brief moment of respite, after he parries one the Jedi's thrusts and landed a solid kick in the middle of his chest. "On my mark, duck."

You see Crusader nod through the feed.

The Jedi Stumbles back into a fighting position as Crusader approaches. His pained expression brings joy to your heart as he shakily raises his lightsaber. All that power, that rage you saw before has been replaced with something you never thought you would see in a Jedi: terror.

Your sensors pick up that the C-9979 is almost directly behind you, nearly over the Hospital. Your countdown has only 30 seconds remaining. You need to time this carefully.

Crusader twirls his massive blade with a flourish. You are unsure how he is able to wield that with only one hand. Implants, perhaps?

The Jedi raises his green lightsaber and goes to charge. Now.

You open communications with Crusader and Xtreme. "Mark."

In that moment, three things happened at once.

Crusader halted his casual approach and kneeled down, ducking underneath the Jedi's wild swing.

The mass driver cannon whipped around to collide with the Jedi's head. As the Jedi crumpled to the side, Crusader brings his sword about in an arc that slices directly through the Jedi's midsection. His lightsaber falls to the floor, and you see Crusader grab it.

The Hospital behind you exploded into a massive fireball that launched up and slammed into the descending C-9979. The shockwave caused the right half of the transport to keel over towards the ground.

The shockwave collides with your walker. The rear and your back two legs are lifted a few feet into the air as you are propelled across the ground. You struggle with the controls as troopers go flying over your cockpit. One of the halves of the Jedi slams into the side of your canopy before being flung off.

> [Cont.]
>>
>>44429014
After 10 meters of sliding, all legs return to the ground.

"Corporal, Major, status report on your troops?" You comm. The Depot is only a few minutes away, and your tactical map is showing that the platoon of GATS are incoming, fast.

"We lost a few to that Sith, sir," Dodger responds. "And a good few were blown off the side of the walker, but I count a good 30 men ready to fight, with about 10 or moving in on foot."

"Same count as before, Lieutenant. 14 of my boys are wounded an out of the fight, and I have 26 ready to fight." Bandit says.

56 men under your direct command? You should be able to hold against this final thrust if you are careful.

"Roger, we are moving back to the Depot to set up defenses against an incoming platoon of GATs roughly 300 droid infantry. Once we get in position, I need you all to dismount and take the wounded to somewhere where they can be treated. If there are any mechanics amongst you, I require repairs to my forward right turrets."

"Copy that," Dodger comms. "I'll have a couple of my men work on it."

"Good." You say as the AT-TE marches up along the front of the Depot. You turn the back half of the walker towards the entrance ramp and walk reverse up the incline. Once you are under the cover of the building, you open all openable exterior hatches.

"We have minutes before the enemy tanks arrive. Make them count." You broadcast through the exterior speakers. The troopers all dismount and work to offload the wounded, setup firing lines, and run off to find replacement parts for your damaged turret.

Towards the Hospital, you see C-9979, now split in two, crash down into the surrounding cityscape and turn that entire flank into a wall of fire that burns strong even against the pouring rain. Roughly a dozen skyscrapers and assorted buildings are collapsing, severely damaged by the crashing transport. You see utter annihilation.

"He's dead." Carla murmurs. She is staring down at her hands nearly catatonic.

> [Cont.]
>>
>>44429056
Not good, she needs to snap out of-

"This is General Kenobi!" Your comms ping. "We are in contact with Separatist armor! NR-N99s and GATS! Is anyone still out here?"

Your tactical map shows that Kenobi's forces are a street down to your east, and you see a platoon of both GATs and NR-N99s engaging his position.

The battle is not over yet. The Separatist forces to the south are nearly within sight, if you leave the Depot now the light tanks will likely be able to engage your walker.

The situation looks dire, as usual.

>Crusader

TX-130s are strong and versatile, and we *really* want vehicle support right about now. The other option would be a Juggernaut APC to bring Kenobi back, but if Crusader can handle a Jedi then he shouldn't have any trouble with babysitting one of the best Jedi in the republic. Sending Kep and Jackpot along with Crusader would probably be overkill, but all we really need is Driver, Heavy Gunner, Front Gunner, Rear Gunner, in that order of priority. Since our front guns are half-down, we can spare Twitch for other stuff.
>>
The first order will definitely be providing overwatch for Kenobi's forces so they move to the Depot.
>>44429196
Informing him of your position will be a part of it, don't worry.

Counting..

4 for Xtreme providing fire support to the east, firing both on armor and infantry
3 for Twitch procuring heavy weapons.
3 for Twitch getting a TX-130 up and running.
3 for CT-42/458 speaking with Carla and trying to calm her down.

"Hey Carla. What's happening? Aah, I know you were close with that Jedi traitor but I need you get focused and start piloting the walker again. "This is Second Lieutenant CT-42/458, General, do you copy?" You comm.

"I read you, Lieutenant." The General responds.

"We are setting up defensive positions to your west in a parking garage. My mass driver cannon will be providing fire support for your forces and I will be scanning the area in order to guide you to our position." You activate the scanners. They will take about a minute to produce a detailed enough map of the area.

"That sounds great! As long as you get these droids off our back, I'll be happy." Kenobi comms. You hear missiles launching in the background.

"Xtreme," You switch channels. "Face towards the east, enemy forces will show up on your tactical map momentarily. I need you to cover the General's approach, focusing on taking out the enemy armor if possible."

"Understood, Lieutenant." The mass driver rotates to your left. Good.

"Twitch," You say while glancing over at Carla's shocked posture. You need to say something to her real quick. "Are any of your workers still around?"

"Whatcha need, rookie?" Twitch sounds tense.

"If possible, I need you to try and get one of the TX-130's upstairs functional. We need all the support we can get, and those rockets will be invaluable."

"Ah hell, more repair work?" Twitch grumbles. "Alright, I'll get on it, though it may take awhile. Jackpot, cover for me?"

"That is fine," You say as Twitch exits the AT-TE.

"Yes sir." Jackpot responds, and you hear him move over to the forward gunner's seat.

As Twitch jogs up the ramp to the vehicles, the two troopers sent up earlier come running back down with extra laser cannons and an assortment of parts. The climb up the right leg of your walker and get set to work on the damaged turrets.

Your scans come in, but again your attention is drawn to girl.

"Carla," You begin. "Right now, we have lives to protect. I understand that you are in pain, and I will do everything in my power to help, but this is war."

> [Cont.]
>>
>>44431395
"You have to live and fight in the now, grieving can come after the enemy has been defeated." You pause.

You hear her sniffle. "I am relying on you to get this walker moving when we need to face the enemy. Understood?"

Carla nods hurriedly, though you think she is still crying. At least she sits back up, determination straightening her posture and her resolve.

"Good." You say before forwarding the scans to both the General and Xtreme.

You note that the enemy force entirely consists of B-1s supporting 5 GATS, which are acting as forward screening vehicles, and 5 NR-N99s that are holding back providing missile support. They are spread throughout the block marching west towards Kenobi's position, likely searching for his men. The missiles are not being fired accurately, it seems that they are intent on destroying the buildings.

"General," You comm. "They do not yet know where you are. After the mass driver shells begin firing overhead, move directly southwest and hold in the building there until further orders."

"Tell that to the missiles!" Kenobi quips. A small smile spreads across your face. You will not disappoint your commanding officer.

"Xtreme, do you have a lock on the enemy forces flanking to the General's southern flank?"

"Would you like for me to obliterate them?" He giggles.

"Fire for effect." The AT-TE immediately recoils back at your order, and within 30 seconds a dozen shells are lancing towards the enemy. The shells mostly hit true, decimating the droid lines.

"I assume that's our cue, Lieutenant." Kenobi comms. You see his forces make a break from cover and run for the building you indicated.

The shells are now arcing out further into the enemy's ranks, hitting around the GAT that was moving to intercept the troopers and forcing it to retreat. On the tactical map, you see the northern and southern flanks of the droid force begin to fall back to the center while attempting to enclose the General's troops.

> [Cont.]
>>
>>44431434
Within moments you spot the avenue of retreat right past the approaching lines.

"General, move fast to your direct west. Droids are moving to encircle you, but you have 5 minutes before they do. Make them count." You switch channels to Xtreme. "NR-N99, bearing west south west, I need you take it out."

The mass driver rotates slightly to its right and elevates a few degrees. As the general's forces move, the indicated droid tank turns to face their retreat. The mass driver shell fires out, but not before a few missiles from the Separatist tank.

"General, missiles incoming." You state.

You watch as the rockets slam into the edges of the formation, and you flinch as friendlies are caught in the blasts. At least the droid tank has been taken out before doing too much damage, and 45 of the clones survived, many with heavy weapons. After another minute, the General successfully runs out of the encirclement, and are only 100 meters from your position.

You let out a sigh of relief. "Good work General, enter the Depot and prepare your men for the defense."

"Good work guiding us, Lieutenant!" Kenobi sounds pleased. "What is your name, if I might ask?"

"CT-42/458." You automatically respond as you survey the tactical map once more. The platoon of GATs to the south are now firing upon your defenses at extreme range. The forced to your east are reorganizing and will be pushing on your location soon.

"Lieutenant," one of the troopers repairing your laser cannons comms. "Repairs are complete."

Twitch pings. "Hey, we found a Saber that wasn't completely wrecked and a ton of parts from other ones. My workers are cobbling it together the best they can, but the tank will not be up for a little while. In the meantime, I can either stay here and continue to help fix this bucket up, or go procure some more supplies."

The power supply to your front right turret is connected and all lights show green.

> [Cont.]
>>
>>44431476
"Opening fire." Jackpot says as the left cannons begin to try and land shots on the GATs. Those cannons are strong enough to do decent damage to those light tanks, but only focused fire from all four is viable to take one out. Crusader's cannons soon begin to fire at the forces to the south as well.

The mass driver fires once more, and a platoon of enemy droids to the east are annihilated.

You have a little time before the enemy forces assault your position. You look down to Carla. She glances back up at you, eyes still slightly glossy, though she gives you a tight grin and a thumbs up. Good girl.

Good news everybody, now that we have a jedi in command we'll probably win!

The bad news is now that we have a Jedi in command we will win with heavy ass casualties.

Oh yeah, also we've got plot armor on him not dying at least.
>>
Oh by the way the update is nearly done.
>>
>>44434370
FUCK! ITS THAT LONG EVERYBODY PANIC!
>>
you all die, the general drags the PC from the rubble and we are dragged up to high command
>>
"Xtreme, focus on eliminating the enemy armor. Start with those NR-N99s, those missiles could be the deciding factor of this fight." You update his tactical map to the current positions of the tanks and what you can deduce is their likely movement paths. You trust that Xtreme will be able to combat them.

The General pings you. "My men are now in position, now tell me, what has been going on over here?"

You take a moment to gather your thoughts and take a calming breath.

"General, I awoke to find that our fortifications were under assault, and we have been fighting against repeated Separatist attacks ever since."

"Well, I can see you have done a good job of it so far." Kenobi sounds impressed. Your pride threatens to rise up, but you tamper it down. Stay professional, you have important information to get across.

"Unfortunately, I have discovered that the Nationalist forces have access to nuclear weapons. Major Bandit's forces faced heavy loses when an AAT, with a painted radioactive symbol on it, fired upon us after we had succeeded in repelling for first assault on the southern flank."

"Nuclear warheads?" Kenobi pauses. "I wonder how Stratus got his hands on those, the Senator said that they were all removed before the war began."

"There is something else General." Dread pulls at your gut.

"Yes, what is it?"

"We encountered and neutralized a fallen Jedi who was leading the Separatists along the western front. We have collected his lightsaber." You noticed that pride did slip into your voice then. No matter, eliminating a force user is no small achievement.

"A fallen Jedi? You eliminated him? I am sorry Lieutenant, but that sounds a little outlandish." Kenobi says. "The council has not felt any of the Jedi fall to the Dark side. You must have been mistaken."

The mass driver fires as you sit, speechless. Absently you note that the shell does not hit its target. Close, but no cigarra.

"Do you have anything else to report, Lieutenant?"

> [Cont.]
>>
>>44434773
You hear the commanding tone of a General, a harsh edge that works to lay your concerns to rest.

Automatically you respond, "No sir, only that all attempted assaults have been repelled so far."

"Then let's finish the day out with a win, shall we?" The Jedi cuts off communications.

Xtreme fires again, this time you see the NR-N99 get severely damaged, but it still is rolling towards a firing position.

You do not exactly know what to think after that discussion with the General. Unfortunately, you do not have much time to think.

"Three GATs are advancing at speed from the south." Jackpot states.

You redirect your sensors in that direction and see that the three light tanks are rushing the Depot, with two sitting behind providing covering fire. The troopers begin to open fire, and you see a couple rockets shoot out, but the Separatist tanks are too fast.

"Jackpot, Crusader, take those tanks out!" As you order, your 4 forward laser cannons lance out in unison. They all arc perfectly into the center GAT, causing it to bloom into a massive fireball. Still the other two GATs speed on towards your location.

Crusader and Twitch each take the remaining two tanks. You supplement their targeting systems with your scans, ensuring that they land their shots. For more beams blaze through the falling rain, intent on hitting their targets.

At the same time, both GATS swerved to avoid the beams, though they were too late. The engines are hit and you see them spiral out of control as the engine bursts into flames.

The problem is that they have not been blown off course. The fiery GATs are making a beeline towards the parking garage, and none of the shots fired out at them can hit due to their increased speed.

"Lieutenant, incoming!" Dodger yells over comms. Panic rises in your throat.

"Shoot down those enemy tanks Crusader!" You find yourself yelling.

"I cannot get a bead on the scum!" Crusader sounds as panicked as you are feeling.

"Our defenses will sustain heavy damage from this attack." Jackpot's voice is cold.

"Fire, fire, don't let them hit us!" You already know your orders are futile. The laser cannons finally begin to hit the speeding tanks, but they are already 50 meters away.

The blur of fire and metal streaks through the rain, colliding the wall on the floor below you. The explosions billow up into your view, and you feel the building begin to shake and tilt dangerously. Over the comms comrades are screaming, yelling, such an inarticulate mess of noise is screeching through your helmet that you want to rip it off and bash-

"Wait, the second tank hasn't blown yet!" You hear over the comms.

"Carla we nee-" You try to order, but it is too late. Another explosion rattles the building, and this time the tilt becomes a total collapse the southern half of the building. Your AT-TE is slowly descending as concrete and durasteel shatter apart around you. The walker shakes ferociously as large slabs land on your hull, and Carla is cursing loudly as she struggles to maintain its footing. The AT-TE squeals as its metal is bent and crushed underneath the wait of the floors above.

For a moment, you attain stability.

In the next, you are in freefall.

For a gut wrenching second you fell, then you were rattled in your chair as the AT-TE slams onto the uneven debris. Damage warning alarms are blaring throughout your console-Hull is no longer pressurized-Exterior hatches are no longer functional-Rear cannons are no longer functional-

You are being shaken.

"-tenant!" The General yells. "Are you still there?"

The sound of concrete collapsing all around you has stopped. Instead it has been replaced by the sound of rain pattering against your armor. You try to shake your head. Pain radiates out from your leg. You grunt in pain. You open your ey-

You see a glint of beautiful green and a shock of re-

"-opy, Lieutenant, do you read me!" Kenobi's voice is coming out with heavy static.

"Lieutenant," Carla says in front of you. She is holding both sides of your helmet. "Are you awake?"

The canopy around you has been sheared off. There is a long steel rod sticking up beside you. You reach out to grab it, it is in the wa-

A searing pain screams through your body. You look down, and see the rod protruding from your leg.

Your breathing begins to quicken, your heart thumping loudly in your helmet. It hurts, you try and get a grip on the rod and it hurts worse, you try and pull it out and you are screaming, screaming so loud you think you will go deaf-

"Lieutenant, wait, just wait, don't try and pull it out, it's penetrated through the bottom the walker, just wait." Carla's panicked replies make it through your thoughts. She takes your hands away from the steel rod, ohgodyouthinkyourlegisbroken-

She reaches back. All you can see is your blood leaking out of the leg armor.

Carla brings something back down. You see a red beam shoot out. She's trying to take your le-!

The straps hold you down as you try to lunge for her. Moving makes you lose your breath as pain electrifies your nerves. You see the red beam saw through the steel pole, you hear the energy shear through the metal.

A click is heard, the pole topples over to the side and clammors to the ground.

The redhead turns to you. "Now, you may want some pain relievers right now. And some bacta."

You nod. That is all within arm's reach. You take the syringe-you forgot what it is for-and stab it into your arm, pressing on the plunger. The blue liquid flows into your body.

You feel your nerves settle, and you feel that your leg is being lifted up. You look down, and note that the pole is no longer impaling your thigh. Right, open wound, bacta. Picking up a capsule, you open it on your leg wound and watch as your skin slowly mends itself back together.

Sanity is being restored.

> [Cont.]

>>44434840
Carla is throwing a blood soaked piece of pole out the side of the AT-TE. She turns to you, her green eyes radiant in the falling dust and rain.

"Now, command us, Lieutenant. The droids are closing in." She gives you a worried smile before twirling and returning to her seat. You feel the engine of the walker reactivate and the AT-TE grind to an upright position.

Your throat is dry. "Status report?"

"Rear cannons have been crushed, sir." Jackpot replied immediately. "Kep was killed by the flattening of the hull."

"The rear half of the walker has been compromised." Crusader says. "I am glad that the vigor of Mandalore still flows through you, Commander."

"Mass driver has sustained only minor damage to its armor." Xtreme sounds sober again.

Twitch activates his comms. "You lucky fools, you're alive? The southern outer walls all collapsed onto itself when the GATs hit!"

"Update on the TX-130?" You manage to get out. The AT-TE is slowly crawling over to the top of the debris pile.

"We'll be up and running soon Shiney, don't you worry. Just don't do anything stupid and get yourselves killed, y'hear?" Does he sound, happy? You are unsure.

"General Kenobi," You comm. "AT-TE 7330 is ready to return to the fray. What's the situation?"

"Good to hear that you're alive, Lieutenant! We have hundreds of battle droids assaulting our lines, and the NR-N99s are bombarding us with missiles!"

Your scanners no longer function, as the rest of your console has been busted. You find a pair of binoculars in the emergency storage bin, as well as a blaster rifle. It looks like you are going to have to command the old fashioned way.

"Copy that General, we are moving to support," You say as you reach the top of the rubble that used to be above you. You do not even need to raise your spotter to see the enemy forces.

The entire courtyard in front of you, going on for hundreds of meters, is filled with B-1 battle droids.

> [Cont.]
>>
>>44434861
All of them are firing to your left, presumably towards the remaining clone forces. Looking over your shoulder, you see the platoon of GATs sitting close to the Depot and firing directly into is, and close behind are the NR-N99s. Missiles are arcing up over the infantry and are descending upon where you see a desperate barrage firing out from the parking structure. All around are even more battle droids. There are more blaster bolts in the air than rain falling from the sky. The sound of blaster fire is deafening.

You feel the AT-TE wobble beneath you. The rear legs must be damaged. All around you sparks are shooting out from damage to the hull. Thankfully, all of the five remaining cannons seem to be in mostly working order, if a little damaged.

You have to act.

Main gun on the armor
Go (stay?) hull-down.

Our rear guns are toast, which means that wading into the middle of that B1 blob is going to get our shitters shattered.

So, vote could.

Looks like we are holding the line. As an extension of that, Carla will hull down in the rubble for cover.

Jackpot and Crusader will unload on everything in sight, while paying mind to anti tank droids.

Xtreme will focus fire on the armor, first the GATs, then the NR-N99s.

Twitch will get his tank up and running soon.

Phi will REDACTED

Question: Would you like for Carla to hull down with the forward laser cannons facing directly south towards the infantry blob, southeast to hit both and the infantry marching around, or directly east towards the armor?

"Carla, hull down facing southeast. Xtreme, I want you to show those GATs the true meaning of overwhelming firepower."

The AT-TE moves with at your commands, it moving back down into a depression in the rubble and turning to face the south east. The mass driver rotates, and you hear the air compress as the shell lances out of the barrel. At that, all of your cannons unleash an unending stream of blue streaks that tear through the enemy lines.

GATs are decimated with every report of your mass driver. Even when they attempt to swing their turrets towards you to respond, your walker stands untouched. Shells pound into the ground around you, creating almost a smokescreen of dust. The lack of visibility does nothing, and you raise your blaster rifle to fire into the fog war, to contribute to this glorious purge.

You sit there for what felt like hours, blindly firing into the horde. You listen to the death squeals of the enemy droids, watch as a hailstorm of red blaster bolts swarm over your walker.

"GATs are gone!" Xtreme giggles. His cannon rotates above you and continues firing, you do not see where.

Missiles are landing around you, sending chunks of debris and shrapnel everywhere. You hear the panicked yells of hundreds of battle droids as they are ripped to shreds by their own munitions. A fitting end to a traitor.

Your rifle clicks, empty. You look down into your cockpit, looking for an extra ammo clip. Searching through all the compartments, you finally come to find it-

A battle droid leaps into your field of vision and onto you, grappling your body.

"Get off get off get off!" You hear Carla yelling.

"I got 'em!" The battle droid on top of you calls out. You wrestle with the thin hunk of metal, nearly able to throw it off of you, but then 4 more leap on and cling to you.

> [Cont.]
You struggle to load your rifle.
>>
>>44436565
The droid on top of you pulls out a thermal detonator from its backpack.

You click the magazine into the rifle, point it upwards, and begin to fire wildly. The droids call out as your blasts tear through their thin armor, and soon all 5 are lying limply on top of you. Their combined weight is too much to get off of you.

You resort to firing more to break up the cluster of droids, and soon the parts are small enough for you to push off of your torso. You unbuckle yourself and stand, looking over to the pilot's chair with your rifle at the ready.

"Carla, are you okay?" You see the Carla tearing off the head on a struggling battle droid with a snarl. You blink.

She looks up at you, face splattered with oil, grinning. "All set up here Lieutenant!"

That is when you hear repulsors voom above you. The TX-130 lands directly ahead of you-crushing a number of droids by the sound of it-then begins unloading its cannons.

"Reinforcements have arrive, you bunch of nuts!" Twitch waves back at you from the top turret position. "And look who's driving!"

"Hey there, Lieutenant." Phi rasps.

Crusader laughs his bombastic laugh. "You live, brother! Are you ready to carry out the wrath of the Republic against these traitors?"

"As ready as ever, Mando." You can hear Phi's smile. "We are moving to finish off those Snails you did a good number on, Lieutenant."

The TX-130 flies off forward into the rainstorm before disappearing from sight. All you can see is the blue and red laser blasts flying in all directions.

Missiles rain down around your position once more, and though a couple land near enough to scratch your hull, your AT-TE stands strong. As the missiles stop, and explosions bloom faintly through the rain, and in that moment you know:

You are victorious in this battle.

A droid runs past screaming his warbling cry You offhandedly extent our blaster rifle and fire. A vicious glee fills your heart as its head flies off its body, the droid crumpling to the ground.

The worst I was intending was for him to be Paralyzed from the waist down and stuck in the rear gunner seat. Perhaps there even as the hull crushed down upon him, staunchly defending his brothers until the end.

Perhaps Wednesday, I need some pour over my notes.

Alright, so, moment of truth:

Who is the best character?

>Though you have my word, the attempt will be made.
What you might be able to do to speed it up is have pre-made counters or tokens that you can just plop on a battlemap. Armor by the platoon, infantry by the block, plus a few pre-made building shapes. Squares, rectangles, low-buildings, etc.
>>
>>44437020
>Who is the best character?
Mando or Twitch. Probably Mando. Xtrem seems on the edge of insanity, Big is ded, and Phi seems to be what passes for the straight man.
>>
>>44437038
I am absolutely open to suggestions. Military icons could be used as well, perhaps.

Anything and everything you all want to do to help this quest, feel free to suggest.

>>44437064
About Xtreme, he was the one who pointed out that Sparks was off his rocker. I wonder why?
>>
>>44437020

Crusader hands down. Dude's a bro who fought a goddamn Jedi to a standstill and then executed him when we gave him the high ground
>>
>>44437020
I'm liking Crusader more and more. At least, now that Big is gone
>>
>>44437097
Oh, concerning that Jedi fight.

Yeah, Crusader was walking the line with being murdered by an angry Jedi.

Thank your dice gods for the two 1's in that dice set.

>>44437138
We will all mourn Big's passing.
>>
>>44437079
Telling us what position crew members are occupying probably couldn't hurt.
>>
>>44437175
Speaking of dice, though, how does the roll system work?
>>
>>44437177
I explained it before, but an update wouldn't help.

Twitch is the gunner for the left side laser cannons. Crusader is the gunner for the right, while Jackpot normally guns the right rear gun. The left rear cun is currently without a crew member.

CT-42/458 commands, and Carla is a temporary pilot for the wounded Phi. That clear enough?
>>
>>44437192
The dice work in a "Best 2 out of 3 format," though it is a little complicated than that. First, the "sets" I have been pointing out recently when accepting the dice rolls pertain to the individuals that CT-42/458 is ordering, as well as himself.

The sets formed in vertical columns instead of horizontal rolls. So, generally, the MC's rolls are the dice of each anon's post, with characters moving to the right from there.

As I said before, you want two out of the three rolls of that set to beat the DC. So, say the DC was 6, and the rolls were 5, 4, and 7. The character would fail their action by the barest of margins, but nothing spectacular would happen because of it.

But, if the rolls were instead 5, 1, and 7, Not only will the character fail the action, something spectacularly bad will happen as well. Sometimes it is to them, like when Crusader's turrets burst into flames, though sometimes criticals can affect the flow of battle itself, such as when the two GATS crashed into the Depot. It is a result of the Character's action, but an indirect result.

10s and successes work in the same way. When directly combating Jedi, the rolls invert, so lower is better rather than higher.

Does that make sense?
>>
>>44437232
Woah, easy there buddy. I meant in the orders phase. For example:

Crusader and Jackpot (Front Guns)
> [] (Default) Purge the enemy.

Xtreme (Mass Driver II)
> [] (Default) Purge the enemy.
>>
>>44437380
Oh, of course. I can try to remember to add that to the updates in the future.

I did not mean to come off as frustrated, I apologize if I did.
>>
>>44437370
Best two out of three, taken down the column, crits override, force shenanigans invert. Simple once explained, but not immediately apparent.

well im glad we didnt die and glad Crusader didnt either, that would have sucked loosing him and big. How many crew could we have lost here and how? Did we have any near misses?

>>
>>44437442
As an addendum to that, what was our NEAREST miss?
>>
>>44437020
Crusader
>>
>>44437416
Crits do not necessarily override.

Say the rolls were 9, 8, and 1, with the DC again being set at 6.

The character would succeed at the action, but something nasty may happen as a result of it, whether it be directly or indirectly.

A lot of it is meant to be a little nebulous, mainly because of the craziness inherent in the Star Wars universe, and the impact the Force can have on things. As a Clone, a new one at that, CT-42/458 doesn't really know how the galaxy works, so neither do you. Kinda.

>>44437442
>>44437495
>>44437517
What this Anon said, everyone could have died. Example: If the rolls right before the GATs crashed into the building did not have 10s to counter out the 1s, one of those tanks would have collided directly with the face of the AT-TE. Unless Carla got a 10 in her roll, allowing her to do some spectacular dodge.

Honestly, you were living on the edge the entire battle.

So what would have to happen to lead to CT-42/458's death? Would he just die and pov switch? Quest end?
>>
>>44437621
You could have saved more men, running back and forth to the Hospital with 50 troops hanging on for dear life didn't exactly help.

Kenobi wasn't too worried about losing another clone, he's seen thousands of clones die. He has a desperate battle to try and survive.

Though he does appreciate that you saved the day.

>>44437623
It was totally the dice, don't look at me.

>>44437652
Well, like I said before, your entire battalion was killed to a man. Bandit is not technically a part of your battalion.

And yes, keep that in mind.

Your whole BATTALION was killed in this battle. Of course, there was a lot happening off screen because you all had your own problems to worry about.

>>44437697
A series of poor tactical decisions, poor rolls, and likely ending up being surrounded on all sides with everyone dead around you.

I am considering what I want to do when/if the MC dies, and I am considering it to be a quest end. Restart with a new character, likely in another part of the clone army, go from there. I am not decided yet, though.
>>
>>44437784
What fucking planet are we even on?
>>
>>44437857
Well, you know it rains a lot.

The local forces that are Pro-Republic are called the "Loyalists," while those that are Pro-Separatist are called the "Nationalists."

Kenobi did say something about a person named Stratus.

That would be telling, Anon.
>>
>>44437909
Ah, a nameless, mud-covered shithole. How appropriate.
>>
>>44437959
If you remember, Phi was the one who could not remember any of the planets he has been on. For some clones it's all just a blur, new terrain, same enemy.
>>
>>44437959
That could literally be every other outer rim planet, which only makes it sadder how much carnage has been wrought here. Also that we now have a random local in our driver seat.
>>
>>44438112
Wait until you meet more of the populace! They are quite the bombastic people once you get to know them. Did you see Carla murder that one droid with her bare hands? Feisty ones, the lot of them!

So the day's been won and we're gonna get a couple Shinies to pack into our big six-legged death machine. Observer, how far into the Clone Wars are we? Are we wearing Phase I clone armor or Phase II? What sorta favor have we garnered with Kenobi?

And what of the early AT-AT's? Any chance we could maybe see them, perhaps crew one?
>>
>>44438457
You will have more than just a few new Shinies coming up.
You are currently REDACTED months into the war.

>>44408704
The picture in this update is CT-42/458's armor. The reasons for it are in his backstory at the Academy, which will likely come up soon.

Kenobi is impressed by the actions he saw. You were doing good, staging the defense of the Depot. Regarding "favors" well, we will see, won't we?

I am considering early AT-ATs, nothing confirmed yet. It honestly depends on how long the quest goes on.

You are more likely to see a true blooded Mandalorian before an AT-AT, if that clears it up.
>>
>>44437784
Could be fun to play as one of those clone paratroopers

>>

Of course, as with anything Star Wars lately, I doubt it will tell the full story of the battle of Jabiim. They pulled that stunt all the time in TCW, having the Jedi do something then leap to another planet likely weeks later into the war. Bad for research, good for a show, I suppose.

Thank you. Once I actually get money again, I shall try and procure it.

The comics are pretty good at keeping the action self-contained from arc to arc, though perspective switches between different characters here and there. There's also the occasional one-shot that builds the galactic world a bit--Clone Wars politics and all that.
>>
>>44439129
Good thing I have a more social focus for the next thread or two, depending. You all technically no longer have battalion to be a part of in any way other than in name. Though you could march up the ranks, become a Colonel and lead a large portion of troops into battle.

Though that would be much, much further along the line. He still needs to be promoted to 1st Lieutenant, become a proper officer!
>>
ill be honest im just worried about what our crew thinks of us and what Bandit does
>>
>>44439488
Regarding your crew, here is an analogy:
Their old Commander, he was like their father. They had been together since the beginning of the way and he had always been the one who led them to safety.

Now, he's gone, and you have been sent to fill his massive shoes. Grieving take a long time Anon, especially for soldiers, and each trooper is responding to it differently.

Bandit, well, come next time and see if he's still around.
>>
>>44439557
can I take this opportunity to suggest we name ourselves Cold

hopefully soon we'll get to be Captain Cold

I was thinking professional as well but I think I like "Business" better if we were to go that route
