"Right." Tarin nods.

The two of you climb up to the hatch and drop in. None of the mechanics bat an eye, though. Considering you're the crew, they don't really see any reason to bother you, and they're pretty busy themselves. You slide in and settle in the commander's chair, while Tarin takes position in the driver's seat.

"Well, everything looks fine." Tarin says as she visually checks all of the controls.

That's when you decide to make your move.

"So do you see anything on your end-mmph!" Tarin's eyes widen in surprise when you lean forward and kiss her.

"Still jealous?" You grin.

That's when Tarin pushes you against the back of your seat, a look in her eyes that you've never seen before.

"Not anymore." She says simply.

"Thanks man, I knew I could count on you." Axel smiles as he returns the favor and slaps you on the back.

You quickly wolf down your breakfast and prepare to leave for the Breton section of the camp. You're quickly joined by Tarin, who slides into her regular position behind you, almost completely unseen.

"I'm surprised you can still walk normally." You grin to her.

"I should say the same thing to you." Tarin calmly retorts.

"Hah, I guess you've got a point there." You chuckle as you subtly hold her hand.

The moment is sweet, but short, as you quickly enter the Breton side of the camp and you quickly let go in order to avoid giving yourself away.

"So what are we doing here?" Tarin asks.

"Oh, we need to find Alfie. I think she's been meeting Willem on the down low." You remark.

"Ah, I see." Tarin says simply.

"Anyways, keep close eye out." You instruct, scanning the crowds of knights and squires. "She can be anywhere-"

"Found her." Tarin says quickly and points.

Sure enough, you can see a flash of long, pale hair.

Alfie doesn't even notice you and Tarin tailing her. You follow her winding path as she heads for a cluster of tents, their allegiance clear when you see the royal crest of Artois' family emblazoned everywhere.

Yep, pretty obvious where she was headed.

Alfie nervously walks over to one of the smaller tents, the ones that were used for squires and other lower class members of royal households. She pauses for a second, looking side to side suspiciously before finally lifting the flap and ducking inside.

"Lost visual." Tarin frowns. "Should we go in?"

"Y-you're okay, right?" You hear Alfie whimper.

"Of course I am, it was just a simple scouting mission!" Willem chuckles. "We were just probing their defenses."

"I heard you just stood in front of them and challenged them to a duel!" Alfie whines.

"Well, we had to see what kind of champions they would send! To test their mettle!" Willem responds happily. "The cowards didn't even send anybody out! Just fired a few of their pitifully weak artillery shells!"

"Idiot!" You hear fists weakly pounding against as chest. "W-what happens if they hit you? O-or if they really did send somebody out that you couldn't handle?"

"IDIOT!" You hear Alfie's punches grow louder and more constant. "D-d-d-o you think that's what I want?!"
