(This is a quest about an immortal vampire who wanders the wastelands the wastelands. Jump right in!)

The sweet scent of radioactive mould fills the night air. It's beautiful moments like these that make you wish you could share them with someone else.

But alas, every mortal being has either died or lost its mind. You expect some in-depth exposition about how the world as we know it ended, don't you? Well the truth is, we don't have a single clue. One moment you sit down browsing your favourite nerd board, the next moment every civilisation is blasted to nuclear oblivion.

Only the undead survived. I'm talking about vampires mah boy. (1/2)

We find such a vampire in an old car wreck, scavenging for goods.
He/she found an actual live ferret this morning, so that satisfied the lust for blood enough to think straight for a couple of hours. And whatdoyaknow, this time he/she actually found something useful!

A polaroid camera!
Mirrors aren't an option for vampires, but with this baby even those without a reflection can finally find out what they look like!

That's right, it's time for CHARACTER CREATION!
>Pick a name
>Male/female/other?
>Give any physical traits! The more the merrier
>Vote on your favourites and I'll try to puzzle them together in a drawing.

Philippe Haine, French hobo.
Five hundred years ago, he was a singer and entertainer in France, then some bitch bit him in the neck and he woke up undead.
Over the next five hundred years, he partied, tried to take over the world, got rich, wasted it all away and then renounced material wealth. He was going through this hobo phase, wandering the world when the nukes set it on fire.

He's currently sporting a large hobo beard and some bitchin' aviator shades he found by the side of the road tree years ago.

'Merde, how long has it been since I shaved my beard? At least my glasses still look awesome. And no brown stains on my sweatpants, that's a relief...'

Sure, Philippe enjoyed immortality back when there were hot virgins to seduce, blood to drain and power to claim. But what good is being immortal when the rest of the world is shit?
He could wait for alien life to visit earth, but that could still take thousands of years. There was also the option of waiting for new intelligent life to evolve, but he never really believed in that evolution crap. When demons and godly condemnation fill your nightmares, you become a sceptic of sciency shit.

So, not much else to do than to roam the earth, drinking rodents blood and hoping he could find something to pass the time.
You know, now that he's a bit lucid, why not try to come up with a plan? Yes, a plan, that's what a man needs.
Phillipe decides to:
>Look for video games to spend the next eternity playing
>Look for a connection to the internet, try to watch all youtube videos ever or some shit
>Try breeding rodents
>Look for joyrides and cheap thrills. Maybe drugs?
>Other, write-in

>Look for joyrides and cheap thrills. Maybe drugs?
What kind of immortality do we have?
Not being able to die from age? Reincarnation? Invincibility?
>>
>>45109468
We survived the nuclear apocalypse, so we're pretty safe. We don't age, but not drinking blood makes us weak and deranged.
Stake through the heart and sunlight are a no-no, but otherwise nothing seems to kill vampires.
Although drinking industrial paint or strong acid might have some effects on our health...

>Other, write-in
Devote his unlife to perfecting a skill and creating a masterpiece for future generations of human/aliens/bizarre mutated rat-spider hybrids to enjoy.
Singing, painting, writing or something else.
Alternatively,establish a one-man cult.

Yes, ideas fly through Philippes brain. He was once part of the one percent, now he will be the full 100 percent! He will create a new culture for this world! A society that combines art, joy and drugs!
Well, it's not really a society, more like a one-man project... But it will be glorious! Can you see it? I can see it! C'est genial!

Now, we should have a base of operation... Oui oui, une base d'opperation artistique!
>right here, this crummy van will do...
>go to the radioactive lake nearby
>go to the ruined city
>go to a farm
>go to the military base
>go some place else, write-in

FUCK I missed chargen

gah. Nice quest. I don't join it though. Good luck.

We are immortal and have a lot of time. If we can find some human genetic samples, or use our own if applicable, we could totally make a cloning lab and make ourselves some new humans.
Over the course of a two hundred years or so.

We can't get started on this immediately, though.
We would first need a steady source of blood (some kind of farm), literature, a source of electrical power, computers and lots of time to scavange for equipment, read and then experiment.

Well the city is a big place... Philippe can't remember the last time he was here, let alone remember where to find useful resources... Or what the city's name was...

The town is filled with the smell of death. Not vampire-death, Philippe doesn't mind that. But old-corpses death.
He could swear there were some human survivors here a couple of hundred years ago... Or maybe they were mutants? Zombies? Grrr, he can't remember. The bloodlust is rising again, and his brain is feeling a bit woozy. A bit feral even.

Eyes on the prize, what are we here for again?
>Human survivors
>Art dude, let's make some art!
>A library or scientific facility
>Fuck it let's eat some birds or rats or something that has blood

It appears to be a sexy female! Well, a dead sexy female, but who are we to judge?
There is still skin and some organs left, holding the skeleton together... Maybe this is because of radiation, or maybe she hasn't been hanging here for very long. Well, not relatively long...

There seems to be some graffiti on the wall, like in many parts of town, but the significance is lost on Philippe...

(Alright, I'll have to call it a night folks, got stuff to do. Is was mostly just testing out if I could draw a quest in pen, so feel free to leave any feedback. Can't promise there will be a second episode since it was more like a test, but maybe... Just maybe...)
>>
>>45110659
I personally feel like my post speed was kinda low for an average thread, but I could actually draw faster and more natural with a pen. And could write during scan time. So if I had more time the quest could be at a right spot...
Any thoughts on that are welcome

>>45110771
I can't tell you anything about drawing because my drawing skills are below primary school level.

The story is entertaining enough.
