Last time on Power Rangers Primal Quest
Swordanon fell asleep before ending it! Shit!
Investigating reports of a vermin attack you sent two of your rangers in the demi Batzord.

You found a Zeo Crystal in the car of three imposter rangers along with a green data card on each ranger.

Then you met the Bio Burst Rangers and their mentor team. The polite Alpha Gold and the rude Silver Omega. They remarked that some items had been stolen and the two had been tracking the thief.

After finishing off the Rat King (and his new ooze enhanced form) you discovered a magical disturbance in an old mansion in Charleston.

Meanwhile the General Leader Honei the Badger attacks Stone Canyon forcing you to send Red and Blue to face him while Green guarded your three prisoners.

Arriving personally to the building you were met with your wife, Rita. She told you of the return of Ivan Ooze, and even gave you a magical trinket to focus your abilities.

Then the three remaining Beast Generals, Ivan and his new Psycho Ranger bodyguards.

Using the one charge you have from the Zeo Crystal you morph into your Serpenterran Ranger form while Rita herself gained her own ranger like armor as well.

Now you face the toughest challenge of your life. Three very old and powerful Beast Warriors, Two Evil Rangers equipped with the stolen weapons from the Bio Burst Rangers and a sentient violet madman.
Ready? IT'S MORPHING TIME!

The Primal Garudazord had a strong edge against the land locked badger general. The flying zord would rain down shots on the beast general before flying away before retaliation could be brought.

The fight however was slowing leaning to the gigantic badger who in his anger started to wrench buildings from their foundation and throw them at the rangers! Many of the building housing people forcing the rangers to catch them and set them away from the battle.

"Humans, you won't be able to save them all!" He roared, raising a foot over a hospital. "I crush all of you!" Shots fired into his chest, forcing the off-balance Badger to fall back and land into skyscraper. The orange liger zord made it's way into Stone Canyon, past the fallen General and to the flying Garudazord.

"Let's bring'em together!" Jim shouted, activating the megazord mode. The zords then all began to split apart into their normal forms, each attacking the Badger before he had a chance to recover from the liger's assault. The Primal Megazord stood before the Beast General forming together in moments.

Meanwhile...
The Psycho Rangers were surprised to find themselves pretty much even with you. Your staff bounced the empowered swords they wielded. Rita, still slumped over the pipe organ watched as you valiantly traded blows with each Psycho.

"Gah!" You could feel your power being drained with each strike. Serpenterra wasn't strong enough and neither were you. However seeing your beloved hurt only pushed a raw anger, one you thought long gone. Unknown to you, the visor on your flashed red giving the two Psychos a moment to pause.

"Hehehe." Black chuckled spinning the sword of darkness in his hand. "Big Z's getting mad."

"Think we should tell him?" Pink asked, her Savage Sword nearly twice the size it had been before.

"Oh, and ruin the surprise?" Black shook his head. "Nah. He'll figure it out."

"What the hell are you talking about?" You ask, only for a pair of large arms and sharp claws to answer you.

"Hell. Is exactly where you will be going..." Ursa snarled, her fur burnt by Rita's attack but she didn't seem to notice.

"Don't break him too much. S'ehehehe. I need that morpher of his!" Maru slithered up to the ceiling , watching the fight from above ready to strike.

"Wait...where's Fenrir?" The snake's head twisted back outside. Then three bright yellow blasts and a howl of pain before Fenrir was sent flying back into the building. You sag in relief, seeing all five Bio Burst Rangers standing above the unconscious wolf general.

"Well." Ooze turned to the new comers. "More brats in colored spandex! I gotta say, thanks for the toys." He waved his own sword around. "Three lovely blades for us. Where did you find them?" He asked curiously. The Black and Pink Psycho rangers going back to his side.

"None of your business, slime man. You're going to give those back!" Silver Omega shouted. "And your gonna get an ass whoopin' like you've never seen! THIS IS FOR MY COMICS!" Alpha Gold had to hold the angry silver ranger back who kept screaming about his issue of 'Big Bad Beetleborgs' being ruined forever.
"Can't blame me for having a little fun, but I think this party is over. You see. This world has plenty of little tools and trinkets left over from all it's battles. Zedd's got the right idea. Gather them together and use them." Ivan said, strutting around the psychoes and the beast generals.

"What...hit me?" Fenrir growled pushing himself up from the ground.

"Ah. Just in time. Fenrir would you please provide us an opening? Here. Fetch." Ooze said, tossing him the sword of power. The wolf general took it and swung the blade around. Power coursed through the Beast General's body and he eyed you with murder in his eyes.

"Gladly..."

"T-T-F-N. Ta-ta for now." Ooze, the two psychoes and the two remaining beast generals vanished. Leaving one very angry and one empowered wolf general. Who immediately charged the Bio Burst Rangers forcing them to battle outside.

"Rita? Sweetie, are you okay?" You ask.

"Yeah...it's just odd seeing you...and me like this." She smiled weakly. "I wonder why I changed too?" She hugs you for a moment, but her eyes went past you to the battle outside.

"Well I didn't want to blow up this mansions so I kinda...fed the energy discharge to you." You admit. "I thought it would just boost your magic, not give you armor and weapons. Though I'm kinda glad it did..." You say relieved. "C'mon, they need our help." You pause and raise your communicator trying to contact Danny but no response was met. That was bad.

"Yeah I..." Rita started as she stood up and pressed a series of notes on the organ. As you two began to leave, energy and noise began to pour out of the organ.

"What?" You can only ask as a phantasmal body and a fantastic chin that would dwarf Jay Leno's suddenly burst from the organ. Bouncing all around the room before settling in front of the two. "What?!"

"HEEEEREEEE'S FLABBER!" The ghost declared, straitening his tie and smiling at them. "Did I hear someone say.....Beetleborgs?"

"WHAT?!"

"Danny? Whats going on?" You try again, this time hearing several voices shouting and two short explosions.

"Don't worry boss man!" Danny shouts over the communicator. "These Justice Guys freaked out and transformed, but I stopped them! Ow! STOP THAT!"

"Oh. Did they happen to look like rangers but with mostly black armor and colored highlights?" You ask, watching several of the Bio Rangers get flung through the air outside.

"Yeah? How'd ya know?" Danny asked, still shouting at the Psycho Rangers.

"Uh. Lucky guess. " You're eyes move between Rita and this 'Flabber' who simply twiddled his thumbs and smiled mischievously at you. "Keep'em contained Danny. We've got problems here to worry about."

"Gotcha! Green Ranger signin- DON'T TOUCH THA-" He shouts before more static. You sigh and look over at Flabber.

"What?" You snarl, in no mood for more antics by another amorphous man.

"Hm?" He asked innocently. "Moi?" You try to grab him by the collar only for your hand to pass right through him. "Woohoo-hoo, that tickles!"

"Zedd, dear...this is your new magic teacher." Rita said, biting her lip. "We were suppose to bring him out before Ooze got here but you couldn't play the right notes." She looked to the window and back to you. "He'll be my substitute when I have to leave again." Your face softens but the helmet you wear conceals any emotion, however your body language told her enough to hold you once more.

"You'll be fine without me for a little while longer. We both have things we need to do before we can be together..."

"I know, but...it was nice to be with you again."

"Woooh-weeeh. This is bringing a tear to my eye. Well it would if I had tear ducts. Lookie here, since you freed me I'm willing to grant you that wish. You wanna learn real magic? I'm your man! Er. Ghost!" Flabber says, as gaudy wizard robes and a store bought wand appeared on his body. You frown, look at your staff and then back at Flabber. With one quick strike the phantom disapperated, laughing all the while. It seems your staff could still interact with ecto-plasmic entities.

"Shut-up and let me work." You finish turning and head out to the battle. Finding the Bio Boost Rangers struggling to get even a scratch on the Wolf General.

Since I forgot to say it earlier, this armor looks more like what I imagine Zedd's Serpentera armor to be. Maybe silver instead of gold and some dark green highlights, make the antenna more wavy. I like the crystal bit in the chest piece. Like, every time we add a zeo crystal, another crystal lights up, or something similar.

"Grrrrrargh!" Growled the Wolf Monster. "Vlad's death will be avenged!" He said, struggling to break free of your lock. "THEN I WILL SUCK THE MARROW FROM YOUR BONES!"

"Hit him!" You command to the Bio Burst Rangers. Gold and Silver each striking on your command, attacking with their close range weapons a pair of blade like weapons.

"Bio Blasters! Red, Blue and Yellow shouted, each firing their side-arms together. Together with Rita and you positioning the wolf as a shield between the attacks meant everyone of them hit.

"You...you think that'll hurt me?!" He asks, striking at you with the sword. "I've devoured your kind by the hundreds! I am ripper, slasher, tearer, gouger! I am STRENGTH, POWER, I AM THE MONSTER THAT YOU FEAR FOR IN THE DARKNESS! I AM FENRIR!" He declared, as you feel your arms go numb from defending the relentless attacks. The Wolf General was going berserk and he was already too tough for a team of seven already.

Time to even the odds. Ducking under his attacks, you move into his peripherals and strike at the sword once more, aiming to disarm him!

Alright folks! Sadly you fail to disarm him.

You're unable to get the sword from his grip and the wolf General just sneers and kicks you in the chest. Tumbling to the ground, your visions blurs as you hear the other rangers attack the Wolf General with you down.

"You know. I could help." Flabber stood as a six inch tall, standing right next your head as you lay on the ground. "I mean, this wolf guy is trouble but I know a lot about werewolves. One of them was a roommate for a while. Wonder where those guy went? Well. Anyway, just say the world and I'll be happy too do that voodoo for you-hoo." The ghost man said, making a little dance for you. "Whaddya say partner?"

"...I hate you." You grunt, pulling yourself back up. Red, and Blue were down and Yellow, Gold and Silver were busy trying not to get murdered. Rita was running to you, but the wolf man had already set his sights on her.

"TEAR YOU APART!" He roared, jumping into the air and raising his blade high over his head. This was it, Fenrir couldn't dodge in mid-air! You knew what you had to do.

"Okay, Ghost! What do you got for me?" You ask, getting out your side-arm that looks much like Rita's own gun. You ready and set your aim as Flabber expands to normal size. Firing off several shots but each were knocked away with the sword of power.

"Well, my buddy Wolfgang has told me plenty secrets! For instance..." He vanished and reappered behind Fenrir holding some sort of plant over his nose. "Highly allergic to Aconitum simply by proximity." The plant caused Fenrir to sneeze in the air, and it caused him to crash next to Rita as he quickly tried to claw the wolf's bane from his face. Next Flabber held up pieces of cutlery. "Silver doesn't react well either. See?" He said, touching Fenrir's face with a spork that caused him yipe and try to attack the phantom only to dive right through him and get a face full of even more silverware.

"Lemme see...wolf's bane, silver...what else?" He pondered for a moment as the rangers managed to gather together. The Bio Bursters had gathered their super weapon together, this time with Gold and Silver readying their own blasters.

"We'll try to hit him, but with that sword he's been able to block everything we throw at him." Bio Red said, holding his finger over the trigger. "I don't think he'll let us get a second shot in..."

"Kill....you...." Fenrir panted, trudging towards the group. "KILL YOU ALL!"

"Rita." You hold up your hand and she nods, handing you her blaster. "I'll keep him busy and get you the shot you need." You answer. You can feel the Zeo Energy's charge begin to fade. Any more damage and you'd de-morph and without a second zeo crystal you would be defenseless. "Any help would be nice..."

"I'll give you what I have dear...make it count." She kisses your helmet and the armor she wore vanishes. You feel a surge of both morphing energy and magical energy return to you as Rita falls back, exhausted by the donation. Flabber snapped a couch into existence, making her drop a little more comfortable. "Oh. Well this is nice..."

You can feel the power in Lerigot's key hum once more. Maybe you could try magic in tandem with your power ranger abilities?

Spinning the guns, you can feel a smile cross your face as you run at Fenrir again. He swung with both hands on the blade but you ducked under and fired several shots on his exposed body, arms and legs before sliding underneath him and firing several shots to his back. Leaping up before he could bring the sword down on your face, you block a strike with the guns before flipping them over and using the handle of each blaster as a striking weapon across the Wolf General's face. Spinning them again you fired two shots directly into his hands, forcing him to drop the sword. Which you managed to catch with a foot before kicking it up smoothly to Rita.

"Hold that will you dear?" You back away as Fenrir resorted to his claws to attack you now. Firing off a shot at each striking claw the Wolf General howled his eyes going red and his mouth frothing. It seems without the sword he was going into some sort of beserk mode.

"Time for me to stop holding back then!" Directing all the energy from Lerigot's key, you focue it into your morpher. "Primal Power: BEAST MODE!" You shout. Another transformation but this one much different from the morpher. You feel as though the very essence of Serpentera was joined with you. The very living zord you were once just connected to you, now channeling it's power.

You feel weird. It didn't help everyone was looking at you with a mixture of fear and awe.

Fenrir tried to attack. Tried being the key word. Instead what he seemed to do was less attacking and more flailing angrily as you easily bypassed his rage induced attacks. Before the Wolf General had been a match for all seven of them. Now without the sword, he could barely keep up with this new power you managed to unlock.

"Hey, seriously. Stop that." You say, giving him a 'light' punch that ends up flooring Fenrir nearly twenty feet away. Pausing you look at your hand and examine the claws and scales for a moment. You had seen something like this before....

"You've gained a form like the Ancients." Rita said, her tone tired but excited. "I haven't seen anyone do that since Daggeron and Leanbow. Quick! Take him out before it fades!"

You nod, and then you feel a tickle in your throat. Then an itch, and finally...cough. A cough that ended up spouting nearly thirty feet of flame! Which the Beast General had tried to move out of the way, but flames licked and crawled over him. In his anger he barely registered it as he tried again for a frontal assault. Only for you to knock him back down and kick him away from you.

"No....you can't be this strong..." Moaned Fenrir. "I..." From inside his armor he pulled out a similar glowing syringe to one that the Rat King had! "I...don't....need it. I don't need it...." He repeated getting up. "I-I...NEED IT!" He said, raising the syringe and readying it stab his arm.

Before he plunge the needle into his arm and become 'Dire Wolf' Fenrir, you had already traveled across the land and stopped his hand from pushing the ooze into his arms in moments.

"Winners don't do drugs." You say, easily wrenching it from his hands and with a quick toss it was caught by Rita who held both sword and ooze for you. "Now why don't you make this easy and surrender? I got a cozy little spot for you right next to those Justice Rangers." You say, crossing arms. "Well? What's it gonna be?"

"Surrender? I have never surrendered in my life. You'll need to kill me first!" Fenrir shouted.

"Uh..actually you don't." Flabber said, appearing inbetween you. "You know how you got all animal like? Well I can do the reverse for beast man over here if you want. It would fix him right up, and he couldn't cause a ruckus."

"Did you just say the f-word to me?" Fenrir snarled.

"Uh...change him?" Flabbber corrected. "Anyway. I've got the cure for lycanthropy. Wolf Gang needed it once to get a date. Too bad it only lasts twenty four hours..."

"Hm. We can get all the information we need but, he could be a liability..."

"Hurrr..." Fenrir clenched his teeth and closed his eyes. Then with a snap of his fingers Fenrir was replaced by a young man. "Oh...I feel so...weak." Blinking the former wolf man fell back and started snoring.

"Put him to sleep for you too." Flabber said, giving a bow. You just shrug and grab the unconscious Fenrir and toss him onto the couch that Rita had sat on before. "So...uh boss. If I'm going to be teaching you magic, that means I can hop on over to your base anytime you need me. Just say my name three times."

"Like Beetlejuice?"

"Who?" Flabber asked, a sheepish smile crossing his face.

"...Nevermind." Shaking your head you just turn to the Bio Burst Rangers.

"Well. I hope your team is doing better then us..." Alpha Gold said, as his team converged around you. "Thank you for your help..." He said, reaching out for the sword only for you raise your Z-Staff.

"I don't know how you got these swords, but Ivan managed to get his hands on them once. I'll be taking the sword and any others we get from the Generals." You were exhausted, physically and mentally but you still had enough sense about you to know that the Bio Rangers weren't telling you everything.

"What?! You motherfu-" Omega started but the Red Ranger slapped the beetle like robot on the back of the head.

"You heard the man. He rescued our team, got the swords back and saved our asses. He gets the swords." Red Bio grunted. "Wish we had zords too tho."

"Zords? You guys want zords?" Asked Flabber, stroking his ginormous chin. "Hmmmm. Well you guys got a whole Beetle thing going. I may have stuff in storage you can use."

"What? Really?" Bio Yellow asked, clapping her hands together.

"Sweet, giant robots." Bio Blue chuckled.

"Raghafrag..." Silver grunted, but kept quiet.

"Thank you Mr. Flabber..." Alpha said, before turning to you. "Uh...perhaps you should check on your other rangers now?"

Oh right. They were still fighting Honei and trying to get a second Zeo Crystal as well.

"Flabber can you send the Bio Rangers and their new zord to Stone Canyon?"

"Yessireebob I can!" With a snap of his fingers, the Bio Rangers vanished only to reaper inside their new robots. Meanwhile, you tried to contact Danny but only received a busy signal. Which only meant he was still preoccupied with the Justice Rangers. Using your morpher you teleport you, Rita and the unconscious Fenrir to the command center to find it. Completely fine. In fact it was better then fine, it was clean! It hadn't been this clean since you bought the place.

"Danny?" You ask nervously rounding a corner to find all three Justice Rangers in cleaning gear. Danny was sitting in your chair, sipping a drink and reading a magazine.

"Told you I had everything under control. They freaked out for a little while but I punched some sense into them." Danny gave a cheeky grin and stood up. "I punched them hard enough to make them go back to their normal form. Also did some research on these data cards, and the ooze samples you got from the rat. Some interesting stuff." Walking over to Justice Red, he inspected the spot he had been cleaning for the past half hour. "DOES THIS LOOK LIKE I CAN EAT OFF OF IT?" He shouted, and the red ranger quickly went back to scrubbing the floor with his toothbrush.

"Sorry sir!" All three shouted in response.


"No discipline these days." Danny remarked. "So, uh did you want me to go help the others?"

"Uh, first put the others back in their cell and put this guy in the one next to them." You say handing off the heavy sleeping Fenrir to him. Which took only Danny one hand to casually carry him while whistling the others to follow. Who did.

"Need to put that boy on guard duty more...." Rita remarks. Getting into your seat you began to over look all the information on the ooze. With the sample you got from Fenrir you hoped that you could crack the mystery behind the ooze. On the screen you watched as the Primal Megazord and three beetle like attack vehicles join in on the fight. The Badger General was pushed back, and the Zeo Crystal he had been holding was forced from his hands. He roared and charged but was knocked off balanced by the combined assault of the rangers.

With a quick set of commands you teleport the Zeo Crystal to the Command Center. In moments a green light surged all through the base and you could feel your strength returning.

With the Zeo Crystal gone, the Honey Badger quickly made himself scarce. Although they wanted to pursue you sent out an order to return to the base. With the Bio Rangers welcomed to join if they desired.

Holding Rita's hand in your own you smile and rest your eyes for a moment. The fights had taken more out of you then you had thought. With Rita by your side you had never felt so relaxed before. Soon you found yourself quickly alseep in your chair, Rita softly humming a song to you.

It also helps there is no Green Psycho Ranger to drain him of his power.

However...you'll have to deal with a Psycho yourself being the technical 'Sixth Ranger' of the team.

Is it just me or has anyone have not payed attention to that one power rangers super legends way back when the PS2 was as strong and still standing as the PS4 vs xbox one debate for years on end
