Our Current Stats: http://pastebin.com/DfAqsxva

It has been an entire year since The Master has died and your people have managed to carry on their lives. Your have finally seemed to develop resemblance of free will and their bouts of independence have become common enough that they've even denied orders once or twice... Though your people still dogmatically follow the entity that produces the largest amount of Mana: The Technician.

Previously: You developed an entirely "new" customized unit known as the "Pilgrim", it's too soon to say what significance he will have, but he may yet prove himself to be a promising "adventurer model" in the near future. We also found out how truly we've come to depend on The Technician unit as chaos unfolded when they were indisposed. The Alchemist Stone was also "cut".

Collect Genetics. Expand the Psych. Establish your Independence. Create Beauty.

+Current Environmental Development+ Winter
(4th thread, winter)
One entire year has passed and it is now winter; this has a few implications:
-It is cold, dark, cloudy and rains constantly on and off.
-The stair case leading to the upper levels is slippery and treacherous from run-off from higher levels draining into your area and flooding the small "river" on your level.
-The heavily wooded FLOOR B1 has become completely littered with nuts & small orange fruits as well as budding mushrooms- all of which have attracted animals fattening themselves up for the rest of the next year.

+Current Development+ Cut Philosopher's stone
A Complex soul has been spread to the Philosopher's stone and they are now what's considered a "cut" philosopher's stone as opposed to a "rough" one. They are now a 'being', but what this entails is unknown.

+Current Development+ The Pilgrim's Shack
The Pilgrim has made himself a small living space that he's been using as a general hunting lodge and forward base for his independent travels within the local area and to allow himself some distance from the Philosopher's stone. The pilgrim has also been using it as a site to independently craft hand made tools and accessories- mostly made out of bone, wood, insect chitin or the few inorganic scavenged materials from the dungeon.
-He comes back 'home' once every week to have dinner with the technician and the rest of the homonculi, usually bringing wild game, fruit, and mushrooms with him. Every once in a while though he seems to bring back a few gold coins.

>Inspect and Analyze the gold coins brought by the Pilgrim.
>roll 19/20
>Nearly perfect, completely and total 'nearly' unarguable success.

The Pilgrim has been making longer and longer trips as he's come to accept and become more comfortable with his independence; sometimes at the cost of growing more distance from his community, one might consider.

Though, he continues to come back once a week to have dinner with The Technician as well as to catch up with the rest of the Homonculi- exchanging stories with the Soldiers, assisting the laborers in their work -if only out of persist habit- and humoring the nonchalant, aggressive advancements of the dolls. The Pilgrim however is no free-loader, he is Homonculi, he is a laborer and his instinct tells him to bring and collect resources for the one he considers a "master": hunted game, foraged edible plants, fruits and nuts, but most interestingly gold coins.

The Pilgrim doesn't know why, but he feels an overwhelming undeniable compulsion to collect what small treasure he can find and an even stronger compulsion to bring it back home. Nothing significant or in large quantities mind you, but a small bad of assorted gold, silver, or bronze coins every second or third week.

The Technician gathers the coins in their study and also brings them forward to have Lilith study them; Lilith seems to light up, "G-gold? Here?? Where did you get GOLD from??" She rolls the coins through her large, black, surgical claws and methodically feels every groove and indentation from their make and design before popping them individual in her mouth and studying them carefully.

"Does the phrase, 'Burn Alone' mean anything to you my Master?" Lilith questions, spitting out the gold coins and handing them back to the Technician; perfectly cleaned, glistening and free of their previous wear, tear and tarnish. "There's also an emblem- A herd of Horses(?) stylized to form a sweeping cloud or pyre?"

>Action: Investigate further traits/quirks about the Supersized Dolls.
>roll 19/20
>Nearly perfect, complete and total 'nearly' unarguable success.

They're Big. They're Strong. They're built to Last.

Unfortunately they were exclusively made and designed for intensive loving and though the Pilgrim and Technician both agree it entirely possible a Plus-sized Doll could hypothetically kill the Chimera with their bare hands.
The idea of violence to seek harm or confrontation seems to repulse them.
The Technician however makes an attempt to analyze and study the Dolls for any further unique quirks or hidden features- They foolishly try to interview the Dolls themselves, but are quickly trapped and become immersed in a prison of mountainous exposed, heavy, plush and ample homonculi flesh. It takes them 5 hours to "escape" and it is only when they are given permission.
Eventually The Technician reasons it might be better to just ask Lilith as she is the one who made them a long with everyone else.
"The Plus-sized Dolls were the first customized or personally edited and registered model in the register- you, my master, are the second and the-" Lilith pauses to wave her hands to demonstrate sarcasm, "'Pilgrim unit' was the third such custom unit, although he is thankfully not a registered model. The Plus-sized Dolls as well as yourself are the first and last custom made models we have from our previous Master."
Lilith begins slowly, very discreetly budding copies of herself in the shape of Dolls; dozens of them, like branches they grow and extend from her body- effortlessly hanging demonstrations of their excessive and grotesque flesh "Would you like me to make more? It would be no issue at all- All Soldier, Laborer, Doll and plus-sized dolls may be mass-produced."

"It would be my pleasure." She Chortles. This is the first time anyone in your community has made a joke.
Her laughter awkwardly peters out when she realize The Technician does not get the joke.

"Cold." Lilith interjects.
The Technician turns away from their studies of the Dolls design and the coins over to Lilith- Crawling up, her body moving like hot candle-wax and she brushes her skin suit made gown.

"I remember Cold, boney hands. All over me. I remember it being an entirely loveless, meaningless affair- all formality and no flair."
The Technician reasons she must be talking of The Late Master- they move over to the tanks, pressing their hand on the glass, Lilith in turn extend one of her claws on the other side to mirror the Technician's small palm.

"I felt nothing; no stress, no disgust, no love, no hatred, no anxiety- It was as if I merely existed, not too dissimilar to how a brick might live in a wall or the head of a hammer." Lilith begins reaching her other hand out of the tank to paw at the Technician- gently dragging the fine points of her long, drawn out claws against their back.

"You could say this year has been wrought with emotional trauma for all of us involved, my Master?" The Technician remains stone-faced.
Lilith slowly draws back her hand and slithers back down into the basement to be alone.

>Minimal Success, but overwhelming interest.

The Technician is blatantly interested in attempting to fuse the best qualities of the Doll models with the best qualities of the Soldier models.

Taking with them one of the Soldier Models as well as one doll and one plus-sized doll, the Technician requests Liliths presence in order to ask her a question; she seems to have a sixth sense for these sort of things and rises up almost immediately.

Before the Technician says anything, "Yes, My Master?" She than realizes The Technician means to combine traits from the three models to form an entirely new model and proceeds to calm down. "Oh, right- Yes, that can be arranged. The superior internal supporting muscle and bone development of the Dolls could be combined with the military capabilities and qualities of the Soldiers... Although we would need to carry over more of the Doll's nature than perhaps the soldiers as the imbalance in hormones would most likely lead to Hyper aggression and explicit, unhealthy, highly territorial behavior, but I think we'd be able to cobble something professional up.. If you would assist me, my Master."

>+New Model Unlocked+: Amazon Doll
>You can may now make "Amazons". Amazons are a combination of the best qualities of the Plus-Sized Dolls and the Soldier units: They are essentially a busty, literal-bomb-shell, very heavy "cruiser" type soldier model of Homonculi. Unlike the Soldiers models who were designed and built as "Body-guards", Amazons are more socially equipped due to the Sex-doll carry over psche and are more capable of working as an effective team and even leading others. Amazon Models make for exceptional leaders and commanding officers who value the lives, security and combat effectiveness of their units and those they protect; They are dominant, yet submissive units that know ALL about 'giving' and 'receiving' orders.

Also, is it at all possible to convert older soldiers to Amazons? I'm not saying we order that. Actually I would very much be against it. But if they are statistically superior models, there is a good chance some of the soldiers would request the transformation. Especially considering they are also superior models in other areas that the soldiers have shown interest in.

The Otyugh tank has been a novelty in your community, but the larvae have been getting bigger and bigger and unlike in nature where they would most likely eat one another until a single, large, Otyugh would take command of it's filthy territory.. There are at least three dog-sized Otyugh within the Aquarium- living peacefully and sated on garbage.

The Egg case has long since been eaten by the Otyughs themselves and they've grown so large they're actually quite capable of consuming entirely the small amount of waste your community produces: dead vegetation, table scraps and excrement from The Pilgrim and The Technician.

Your Technician though hasn't been slouching, they have been genuinely busy researching and studying the Otyugh in their spare time and have even been disposing of the the dead or runty larvae via throwing them into the vats for Lilith to break down and analyze.

You've found out the following information concerning Otyugh Ecology:

>The Otyugh within the disposal level most likely slithered in through a crack in the wall as a larvae. Otyugh Larvae are the size of a brine shrimp when first born and amphibious; being able to wiggle on damp surfaces in their effort to find food and housing.
>The Otyugh on a genetical level has very little to offer beyond their spines, but Lilith and The Technician agree the Otyugh's unique internal microbes could be used to give a slight upgrade to the already stacked immune-systems of your Homonculi and the formative digestive systems of your Pilgrim and Technician unit.

>Lilith does not enjoying breaking down Otyugh, "If you're doing to give me your stool samples I'd much rather.. Take them from the source."

Which of course leaves us with the question of what to do with the grown ones we already have.
The other homonuli seem to like them, so we can't just kill them. Also they seem pretty useful.
Assuming they don't get bigger and more difficult to keep, I say we leave this matter as it is. It seems to be good for developing the others' individuality, having something neither homonculus nor Master nor livestock to care for and observe. Kind of like a class pet.

The Technician and Lilith decide they will make an Amazon Unit a long with a batch of additional standard Homonculi: it will save on resources and they've had a biting, nagging urge to spawn more Homonculi for their home.

The Vats begin filling with golden, liquid, mana and begin bubbling- Lilith sliding up into each individual tank: pulling a glob of flesh from her body, rolling it into a ball, shaping it like clay before it takes the familiar fetal developmental shape you've come to expect. She does this for each vat until you have the following: 5 new Soldiers, 10 new Laborers, 3 new Dolls, 2 new Plus-sized Dolls, with a grand total of 20 new Homonculi.

When she finishes she slowly slithers up from the Vat and out of the liquid to extend her arm and reach out with her long, black, claws, "I'm going to have to briefly borrow you, my master; for the initial creation, orientation and sculpting of the Amazon unit."

>The Technician and Lilith will be briefly indisposed for 1 turn while they work and craft Homonculi

Lilith seems like she's the most ready and easy character fuck, but extremely difficult to have any kind of relationship with.

But that doesn't matter for us. We and the Technician are men, and if there is an emotional hole, it is a man's duty to fill it with love.

To accomplish this we need to either bring a bed into the vat room or into Lilith's room so that she can lay with us and we can have some fun times cuddling.

Her state of mind is also worth considering. She is still new to having a soul. She is emotionally fragile, compromised even. We should take advantage of her willingness to speak of personal matters with us so that we can help her however we can with whatever issue she may have

>>45264171

That's three'ish.

We will now briefly turn our attention to the Pilgrim for just a bit; think of it as a mini-event.

You are The Pilgrim.
You are a custom made model derived originally from a Laborer unit that was enthralled by a vision and awakened by a warm, burning, compulsion that developed deep inside you one faithful night.

You wish to prepare yourself and your community for your departer: you will never escape the duties of your design, but adventure, honor and romance await you in the greater world. So far though, you have been praciting and brandishing your skills on the local flora and fauna: hunting in your spare time, rummaging and looting for treasure on the FLOOR 1 and FLOOR B1.

Your personal achievements include: Crafting your own leather equipment from deer/goat hide.
Fashioning a bow of sinew, leather, animal bone and wood.
Using the sword of The Late Master to successfully kill a Cockatrice (after having been poisoned and found paralyzed in the field at least twice). You have since eaten the Cockatrice at a house dinner with the Technician and made a fashionable belt and purse from it's snake-skin-tail.

You can still do more though, but what?
You may roll for 2 Actions and 1 Supportive/Contribution to your community.

Also rolling for the idea of returning semi-regularly, the urge to adventure must be strong, but I would guess that the Pilgrim still feels a need to serve their own kind in some way.
That way the Pilgrim will never adventure without purpose, and all Homunculi can learn more about the greater world beyond what they've seen so far.

>Personal story

The Pilgrim has been making longer and longer trips on their own and as a result they've had to learn to take care of themselves: producing Mana is tiresome work, let alone the physical requirements strained on your body by adventuring.

In the Pilgrim's spare time they have learned much to do about the nutritional requirements and dietary needs of your people's Artificial species. >>45262594
>Evaluate what foods are the best for homonucli: NUTRITION

At the end of a day's adventure a new one has always begun- a Culinary one.
Numerous cooking and household tools have been successfully scavenged from the interior of FLOOR 1 (the thought of stealing from his own kind repulsing him) including but not limited to: pots, pans, a few dishes, forks, spoons, and at least 1 ladle and spatula. These tools have been indispensable in The Pilgrims efforts to provide himself with necessary nourishment and to fulfill his model's compulsion to cook.

Persimmons, Acorns and Apples can be gathered from the trees of the floors as well as mushrooms from their trunks. Vegetation comes from edible fern heads, the starchy roots of reeds growing by the river on FLOOR 1 as well as wild, green, onions that sprout up in the thinner grassy areas. Meat though, is surprisingly plentiful: Goat, Deer, Pheasant, Squab, Beetle, Scorpion, and Cockatrice all make for excellent eating- The Pilgrim's favorite being Beetle fattened from winter persimmons; boiling them in whole in their shells and cracking them open to eat the sweet, buttery meat.

The Laborers have learned a significant amount of culinary improvisation from the Pilgrim to say the least.

>Explore level FLOOR 2B (below) and FLOOR 2 (above)
>ROLL 20/20
>COMPLETE AND TOTAL SUCCESS. INTERESTING RESULTS!

The Travels of the Pilgrim have begun to take them farther and farther away from home- not too far though as the threat of the Chimera still lingers on your home and brethren.

But it has leas them far enough that they've explored the heavily wooded area of FLOOR 1B: walked beneath the canopy of Dungeon oak trees as he picked mushrooms, hunted animals and stalked monsters- in search of treasure, glory and experience. Floor 1B though is a calm and peaceful wood compared to the level below it.

Below Floor 1B is the Canyon of Floor 2B: The stairs remain, but several or perhaps even a dozen other level below it have collapsed leaving behind haphazard platforms supported only by tree roots as they cling to the sides and supports of the tower. This "canyon" though is not so deep though as the only floor left intact can still be clearly seen below- perhaps a dozen or so levels below where our community currently resides.

Floor 2 however is a different matter; it is a dark and foreboding area with withered foliage and the arched windowed either sealed or obscured to allow no light in- This is where The Pilgrim has been collecting the coins from. What they have not been telling the others though is that they've been collecting and scavenging these coins off of the dozens of stacked and piled skeletons strewn about on the floor surrounding the stairs. All of them stripped and clean of flesh with the bones themselves showing claw and bite marks and almost always deprived of any useful or meaningful equipment beyond rags.

Floor 2's floor is also heralded by some sort of banner or flag over the entrance leading from the stair case: a purple banner of some sort with some kind of cloud and hooves?
The Pilgrim doesn't ask questions- he merely dashes in very briefly and pilfers the pocket change of dead men.

All those bodies picked clean, and yet the Chimera leaves us alone? Probably cause it was made/captured by the Master to defend him, the tower, and his property; and since he made us, that would make us off-limits to the Chimera.
>>
>>45265812
>nature of the bite marks should tell us more.
Good point, we should examine the corpses more.
Or better yet, bring some bones back to Lilith. She should have a better idea of what causes what bite marks. We may even get some neat genes from the bones or any leftover saliva.
>>
>>45265846
This seems extremely prudent, we must assess the potential threat of whatever is creating all of these bones.

Unlikely. I think something else. Flesheating bugs maybe? Anyways, the Chimera should provide some upgrades for our soldiers
>>

We should also look around for any sign of fur or any trace of what killed them to give to Lilith.
Just be careful. Pilgrim needs to be aware of his surroundings, especially considering how dark it is.

>Bring in Cockatrice bodies and/or eggs for potential research and domestication as "guard dogs"
>Roll 63/100
>Above Average Success. Results, but not ideal.

The Cockatrice is a medium sized bird about the size of a turkey or perhaps a large goose. It is best known for the paralyzing venom it possess in it's snake tail and the unique defensive chemistry it possess with the snake and chicken head; being able to run as fast forward and backward and capable of seeing nearly completely 360 degrees around itself.

This is what the Pilgrim's Encyclopedic knowledge of basic creatures, animals, livestock and monsters tell it about the Cockatrice, but it is entirely different to actually see and experience the animal.

It is an awkward and goofy looking animal; it clucks and struts about- too heavy to truly fly, but it's pride remains untarnished by this fact.
The Cockatrice does not seem interested in hunting down The Pilgrim, recognizing the Homonculi as naught food, but a genuine threat: the difficulty of then hunting this creature is not to confront it, but to make it stay and fight while avoiding the tail.

Loosing a well placed bone arrow into the breast of the creature followed by carefully severing the serpent tail seems to be the best option.
The First time The Pilgrim fought one it simply ran off with expedient and surprising haste into the brush.
The second and third time The Pilgrim fought one he was bitten twice- both times because he neglected the tail lives on for 5 minutes after the death of the main body.

Either way, experience has taught him much and even though no eggs are found- Another cockatrice is collected and donated to the Alchemy Lab of his home community.
The Pilgrim personally hands the birds carcass to a Soldier on patrol- his efforts rewarded with a drawn out kiss. With tongue- to his surprise.

>+Free Action from Unanimity+
>Briefly investigate FLOOR 2

The Pilgrim is curious, he's seen the bones, the marks, the stripped bodies- He wishes to know what mystery is responsible for the skeletons on the floor above. He feels it is duty to as an adventurer and as a member of his community- the safety of others, the honor as prestige it would bring.

He comes up one evening, just after night fall- this is when he's heard the most noise coming from the floor above; "thump", "crackle" and a dull, low, thundering rumble.

It's pure and absolute darkness though that awaits him, absolutely nothing can be seen in the void- he takes no chances though and confines himself to the bottom of the stair case in case he needs to make a hasty retreat.

There's a loud, metallic, grinding and clattering noise followed by a shuffling and then a thump and another and another- heavy, 'full-bodied' thumps that land on the bottom of the floor crunching on the bones below. The Pilgrim then notices the beast.

He can hear the mighty Chimera's grumbling, low, roar roll out like dull thunder in the distance. When the creature opens it's mouth he can see the dull embers of flame briefly light and draw shadows from the horrible beasts teeth and sabre-fangs. There's a shuffling, heavy paw prints and hooves pattering against the floor as the creature seems to carry off mouthfuls of bodies to a layer deeper within the level.

Briefly, very briefly, the Pilgrim's feels the gaze of the bright, reflective cat eyes of the Chimera's.
It lets out a quick huff of air, "Hffff" before going back towards to what the Pilgrim senses very distantly the quiet, tiny, sound mullings and purs in the black distance.

Allright you win. Apparently it WAS chimeras.
>>
>>45266479
Well.
Glad Pilgrim's OK.

Also, Pilgrim needs to be sure to be careful with the bones, I'm still hoping there's some saliva or something preserved on them. If we can get Chimera DNA to Lilith in some form, it would really help us beat it if we have the same abilities it does.

Aaannd that's three, it's time to get back to our girls back at home.

>The New Homonculi are ready.

The entire community has come out of the wood work to welcome in what will essentially double the size of your family: 5 new Soldiers, 10 new Laborers, 3 new Dolls, 2 new Plus-sized Dolls AND 1 brand new Amazon Doll with an ACTUAL total of 21 new Homonculi nearly completed. ((sorry, bad at math))

This will raise your current total population to 48 Homonculi.

But never mind that for the time being, it is a joyous occasion and all of the Homonculi have gathered for the release of the completed batch- Even the Pilgrim has come out to welcome the new sisters and siblings into the fold.
The First to come waddling out are the laborers, they're plain and simple- the adjust their foot and stand to attention before waltzing over to the company of their own kind. The majority of your community is made up of laborers and had you any visions of economic or industrial expansion- they'd be the back bone of it, for now though they simply keep things neat and tidy and your chickens and vegetables fat and sassy.
The Second to be released from the Mana Embryotic soup are the Standard Dolls and the Soldiers, they're built a little heavier a little more complex, but again they're all too eager to swap registration and information with their new sisters.
The Plus-sized dolls are the third last to come out; their breasts, hips and ass seem to appreciate no longer being cramped within the confides of vat glass and take a moment to stretch and dry off, before making a pass at the Pilgrim. Which is denied politely denied by one of the Soldiers- Lilac, to be specific.
All of the new Homonculi seem to have been registered through inoculation within development.

Lilith finally slithers out- shacking wrists carrying and setting down the wobbling, shuffling Technician onto the laboratory floor, "Registration complete, Internal and external manual design completed. Failsafes check on structure, psyche and mental facilities. New Model Acknowledged, Cataloged- Genetics Checked, Cleaned up." The Technician rubs and stretches their aching joints, wrists and body before they're scooped up by a Doll to be tended to.

The Vat can barely contain The new Amazon Unit- even held up in the fetal position her frame is absolutely horrendously massive.
She is Big.
She isn't actually that Mean- she's actually quite nice and serviceable.
And she isn't Green, but a sort of a rich, maybe coffee-colour brown complexion with a really dull complimentary blue-hued almost silver hair?

Her bio-synthetic skin suit tightly holsters over her muscular body and tanking breasts like a leotard. The Amazon Unit walks out of her tight vat and stretches herself out; she towers over all the other units and it's amazing she was even able to fit in her vat during mature development- it's very clearly visible how physically taxing and resource heavy it was to produce her physical body- Your Technician and Lilith both hope the soft ware turns out just as good as the hard ware though as even Lilith is in a semi-lucid state from the over exertion of creation.

She speaks, "Acknowledging initialized pre-registration", "Oh thank The Maker-" The Technician exclaims, still being held and rubbed down by two Dolls.

>You now have an Amazon Unit
>She can be effectively used to better and more efficiently command and issue military orders to your disorganized and undisciplined Soldier units.
>She exhumes an extremely dominating force over soldier units, but at the same time is very submissive to models of authority or individuals as per standard design feature. She will answer to Lilith, The Technician and The Pilgrim- with a bias toward The Technician.

>Socialize and initiate the new Amazon Unit
>roll 20/20
>Complete and total unarguable success. Interesting Results.

Both the Technician and Lilith have to rest for a day or so, but they eventually awake to notice... nothing has fallen apart.
Everything is perfectly fine the way they left it and all the Homonculi obediently waited for their return with nary a peep, revolt or kidnapping of the Technician as they slept within their tank.
The Amazon unit has been keeping everyone in tip top condition; even going so far as to physically pick up and scold those few, rowdy, Soldier units who may have gotten out of line under previous conditions. The Amazon seems to get a long swimmingly with the other Homonculi- see radiates a positive and confident attitude the others find calming and reliable.

The Technician however is mildly interested in meeting and getting to know their first actual piece of independent "work" and decides to spend some platonic time socializing with her in the therapy room.

The Amazon is very "stiff", she lists of her serial number and is uncomfortable with breaking rank, but she eventually warms up when she is allowed to address The Technician face to face.
This requires the Amazon to kneel down, but it seems to disarm the situation.
The two talk of idle things and exchange questions about one another.
The Amazon unit admits in a brief moment of vulnerability admits she would like her personal nickname to be "Princess", but quickly realizes in a distinct and complex moment of social independence the the idea of The Technician addressing her as "Princess" feels INCREDIBLY unprofessional and embarrassing- quickly dropping the subject entirely.

honestly this is ok, we need this sort of identity in all of our homunculi, when they are comfortable with names, that is what they will be given-
to further this- we should have some kind of exercise or face to face with all of the homunculi to see if they are comfortable with names or identities- other than just a serial number

it doesnt matter who does the face to face, whether its lilith, technician, or the dolls- just get a sense of the overall "experience" with identity (i really hoped you would have gave the amazon a tsundere personality, but oh well)

>roll 19/20
>Near Complete and total unarguable success.

It's only been a few days, but the Amazon doll seems to have whipped your little disorganized group of low-attention-span warriors into an actual serviceable obedient military force: the now listen to orders, execute them accurately and go about their duties in an effective and timely manner.

Before their idea of a "patrol" had been reduced to simply going outside and wandering about to make sure nothing in the area would kill or harm anyone in the community.. occasionally bringing back a dead rat or deer.
Now everything is organized and scheduled down to when they go out, who goes out, and what they bring back.
Now they're being actively trained and drilled to keep their bodies in pristine working condition- The Amazon Unit taking great pride in the creativity and results shown by her drilling exercises.

She has even managed to whip and squeeze that extra 110% out of the Pilgrim's small body in between training and disciplining the Soldier dolls.

The Soldier Models are finding out for the first time they're capable of sweating under the tutelage of the Amazon Doll.

>The Amazon feels the Soldiers and herself are physically prepared to face off against the Chimera if they have to.

The Technician and The Pilgrim rationalize that with the added security and the materials available, the forested floor below us could be converted into a mix growth orchard where food and building materials could be reliably collected and gathered; mostly in the form of wood from the Dungeon Oaks. This wood as well as the stone and mortar salvaged from the interior of floor 1 could be used to build an extension of our Arcanum and allow your people to begin building into the neighboring hallway just outside.

The problem however is you currently lack the tools for such a job, but it seems necessity is the mother of invention and the mother has come in the form of lilith.
She once again slithers to provide her insight into your people's problems and issues, "I could make us some tools and attachments- we have the material already compiled, here let me show you. I've been working on a little something for our new Elite Unit, The Amazon."

Lilith begins shivering, twisting, coiling and shuddering before her long claws cut a spade into her chest and it begins folding outward; a large, fresh, blood-soaked, massive femur begins to slide and feed out of her. The Head and Handle of the bone are comically over-sized and as the massive femur becomes exposed to Oxygen, spilling out from the vat; it hardens like steel and lands with a heavy, echoing, dense, thud on the floor of the laboratory.

The Femur has been grown and developed in the shape of a gigantic hammer- the length of the bone wrapped around in a kind of gripping, living, flesh that mimics the tension and feel of leather.
"A weapon-" Lilith coughs, clearing her throat, "A weapon for our Amazon Unit to wield proudly in battle!"

>The Philospher's stone can casually make and produce quantities of "living" tools provided it has the biological material and mana available.
>Tools are obviously easier to make than Homonculi.

>Gather materializes and make our own B1 The Forested Floor

I think it would be best if we focused our final turn/set of Actions on completing one of these tasks- Maybe the Chimera since it's been a long time dealing with it and it would most likely be easier to do the other two if the Chimera wasn't a looming problem.

The Pilgrim would also be able to explore more.

Lilith seems to be impressed with her little fabricated hammer, "See, It's bone and still living marrow in the center with a layer of Keratin to make it dense and li-" "Chitin". The Technician gets up, "Chitin, can you replicate Chitin?"

Lilith doesn't want to admit how turned on she becomes when the Technician interrupts her, "Y-yes, I can synthesize Chitin, I can actually make Chitin quite easily, why, my Master?"

"Blades. Blades, very, very sharp Blades- down to the micro-meter; cheap, cost effective, very, very, sharp blades and Armor. Armor that has chitin infused into a removable layered attachment onto our skin-suits- actually; here, I'm taking administrative editorial action. I have a vision that must be realized."

The Technician storms off and dives right into the Mana Vats- brazenly wrapping their arms around Lilith before diving down into the floor below.
Lilith is embarrassed by how aroused she currently is.

>+New Geneology: Prosthetic Chitin Blade and Filaments
>Chitin Blades can be held and armed like a perfectly ordinary blade- they are also less expensive and more light-weight than bone or keratin, but break easily if handled incorrectly. The Technician attempted to make replaceable Chitin Rounds for the Soldiers Spine-shooters, but the Chitin proved simultaneously to fragile and sharp- bone spines providing excellent stopping-damage.
>Chitin has also been used to infuse and refurbish the Skin-suits of your soldiers and amazons: it is an exceptionally flexible, strong, resilient material, but is less insulating than their standard skins. It also has the added bonus of giving your Soldiers and Amazon's body-suits a very attractive, reflective, almost metallic sheen.

The Technician rises up from the top of one of the Vats; The Pilgrim and Amazon Unit both having been called to survey and review the custom made Chitin equipment The Technician themselves made.
While the Amazon applies her new Chitin-infused leotard skin-suit, The Pilgrim handles one of the Chitineous blades- it cuts cleanly, swiftly, singing through the air with a foreign zing and as light as a hair- shining, glimmering, dull green insectoid shimmer.

The Pilgrim wonders allowed, "What about Traps?" The Technician whisks off the Mana from their bright, teal hair, "What do you mean, Traps?" Placing the sword down, The Amazon unit posing off to the side- stretching and testing her leotard, quietly admiring how it gives her muscles a glistening and beautiful metallic sheen.

"Do you think you could Fabricate some traps, snares or cages to pin or capture the Chimera? This equipment is breathtaking, Master, but supplementary accessories that aid or pit the environment against the creature would be useful."

The Technician ponders and gazes over at the Amazon Unit, "Muscles.." The Amazon unit immediately perks up, flushed, embarrassed- standing at attention.

The Technician dives down below the basement once more, pulling Lilith with them.
Such pleasures of the flesh. It's all so sudden- the direction, the authority, The DOMINANCE. Such Exotic and unorthodox Design. The joy of creation. Overwhelming. "Take me. Use me."

Which I'm sure we will be allowed to give her plenty of outlet for later.

Also worth noting that these seem to be different "desires" than before. Before she was envious and even worshiping us for out magic. She is a philosopher's stone, the pinnacle (or just about) of magic, but with no magic of her own; other than what is required for her operation, of course. She was just a tool, a living tool with desires and feelings, but fundamentally just a tool with the express orders

I'd say three of which magic would fit nicely into.

I'm just reiterating shit we already know, of course. But my point is that it's different this time. Now that she is truly alive with a soul, I think it's more biological infatuation, or even love that she's feeling for the first time for us.

ok fine, not a carbon copy, but you know what i meant, and to be honest, you have to remember what he is(not a human) and that sex appeal isnt really homunculis thing(unless wired/programmed to be, IE. the dolls) but for the most part i believe that he is to be like the master (i mean he gave the technician administrative purposes, that must mean something)

see, this is why we really need people to consider tripfagging/naming themselves, its easier to count the votes, and to encourage easier gameplay/ not to mention it will create a sense of community amongst us, even if you want to roleplay and be named something like
>warrior model XJ3
i guess it bothers people that this website is "suppose to be anonymous" but unless you're hiding behind 7000 proxies you arent really anonymous, not to mention that the whole point of quests/civs is to put your own ideas/twists/creativity on someone elses story/game

Yeah, there have been a handful of civs I've namefagged in and I've found on the overall it really simplifies things in the long run. I know people are usually dead set against it on this website, but seeing as how this quest appears to have a particular base of dedicated players (who are pretty cool people) I think it would work here.

You are the Chimera.

You are a proud and strong apex predator and you watch over your territory with diligence and persistence: at one point taking orders from a God herself. Those were blessed times for you as God in their providence and mercy provided much for you: territory, mates, and the opportunity to breed and produce many sires to your line.
It was not perfect though; God took away your sons and daughters and you missed them, but you sensed and understood they were spread across this land, this tower.

You have fallen unto hard times however as God left you.
The only thing you have to remember of her Blessed holiness is the constant unending supply of meat she has enchanted the roof of your den to produce. Bless her in her wisdom, for even in her absence she made the effort to provide in these trying times.

And trying times these have been; the death of your mate at the hands of heretical interlopers onto this holy land has brought much sorrow to you and your household. She was taken too soon- the children had just been weaned and you know she would have continued to be a wonderful mother and mate.

This only means you must work even harder; you must devote yourself fully to withholding the integrity of your family, your line, your holy kingdom.
God will return and she will see naught ruin, but a faithful servant who never gave up, whom always believed they would return and stood fast against the harrowing tide of evil.

That is until the fallen and corrupted Angels of God came forward.
Lead by a false God springing from their own ranks.

A pervy alchemist known only as "The Master" built a Philosopher's Stone and, from it, made homonculi; artificial humans.
The homonculi were divided into separate classes. Soldiers, of course, defended the place. They have bone weapons.
Dolls seem to have no purpose other than for "pleasing" the Master. They are extremely sexualized, with certain variations, the "Plus Dolls", having even more exaggerated proportions.
Both Dolls and Soldiers are all female.

Laborers are the simplest class, both in build and in mind. They have no gender and seem to only focus on their menial tasks, with one exception (get to him in a moment).

We were the only male homunculus, likely made in The Master's image. As the Technician we helped him around the lab. When The Master died we took over out of necessity. We have since been trying to survive and advance. With no Master the homonculi are a little lost as to what we should do with ourselves but we're finding purpose in survival and collecting genes to make more of ourselves.

We are in a tower, the size of which is unknown other than that it is fucking huge. The Master's domain, now ours, is only part of one floor.

The Philosopher's Stone is a living entity; an abominable mass of ever-changing flesh that exists only to consume and recreate materials and life into her own unholy designs. She hopes to one day harness the full potential of magic through our soul and ascend to godhood.
She's our waifu and we love her with all our heart.

One laborer decided it wanted to be an adventurer, so we threw it in with Lilith (that's the Philosopher's Stone's name) who slapped a penis on him and now he goes by "Pilgrim" and has fun woodland adventures on the floor below us.

Pic inaccurate because we've made a couple more types of homonculi since then but whatever it gives you and idea. Will get into what happened this thread in a minute.

And a powerful false God he was- He shawn with the radiance and beauty true divinity, a true king, that even you admit; rivaled perhaps a fraction of the splendor of your God.

But he was corrupted, vile, unnatural; he lacked scent, his foot tread not a traceable print on the soft grassy meadows of this holy land and he brought with him twisted and sick creations brought forward from twisted flesh and bone that frightened, nipped at your heels and sprung forth from the ground- bloody and savage. His own Angels however, were his most grisly creations. Lead by two Angel, nay, Devils; corrupted holy beings demented by know doubt by perversion and hatred, resembling nothing of the tender, and soft beauty you once knew of them in your youth so long, long, ago.
They inspired such sadness, anger and Fear.

And Truly would you know true fear in your heart for the first time: fear for your children, fear for the future and this holy land. But with the blessed spirit, ferocity and honor of nature within your beating savage heart, you were determined to protect this sacred land, to protect your family and honor the memory of your God and your wife. To Show these vile devils the tenacity and beautiful strength of the natural world that they've left behind.
You were the bastion, the sole protector of this most blessed realm.

And so you fought (https://youtu.be/g0RKjGLfhgc?t=79).

You want organization? Out of a democracy? We don't need a history of who voted what. We certainly don't expect that out of real world democracies. It opens people to unnecessary scrutiny and can lead to discrediting otherwise good ideas on the basis of what someone did before. It can also result in blindly following someone with a bad idea just because they've had good ideas in the past.

You fought as if you were the last hope God's grace had given this land.
You wrought forth horrid and burning flames from your mouth, you striked and them with claw and tooth and lashed at them with the severity and cruel cunning of your serpentine tail- Your goat head providing you the wisdom and knowledge that assured you victory was achievable, so long as you never stopped believing.

For home, hearth, family and god you fought for all that was good in your world.
You fought as your heart swelled with the passion of the wilds, you fought as your old joints ached and as your muscles grew pained and numb.
You fought because if you did not no one else would- and everything would be taken away from God's bounty and into cold darkness.

why don't you let the man finish before you throw a temper tantrum
>>
>>45271879
we could have done all of that. With the information already provided.

He didn't lie to us. We just didn't ask the right questions or consider that it might be sapient.

We'll learn, no doubt, that it's sapient when Lilith dissects it's brain and figures it out.

We'll be more careful in future.
>>
>>45271683
We (the Technician, we play as the Technician) were injured trying to be a dick. Turns out homonculi can't attempt to physically harm other homonculi without some switch making them horribly ill.
Lilith took us inside her (obvious lewd joke but wait it gets better) to heal. We were healed but she didn't let us go. Kept making excuses. Eventually a plus size doll grabbed us out of the tank and rescued us. During this period Pilgrim and Lilith built up some animosity.
When we felt better we went to Lilith. I should tell you more about Lilith.

In the lab, there is a tank. You throw organic things inside, it is processed, and you collect genes which you can use to splice things together to make cool shit.
Placing a slightly injured hand inside the tank, we observed that the fluids, a kind of "liquid mana", healed us. So, absolute madman we are, we jumped in the tank. The eldritch tentacle of eyes and mouths and cute butts that slithered out from an opening in the bottom instantly stole our heart. Mine, at least. We chatted for a while and learned her name was Lilith.
After a while we (the Technician) became magic. Not really sure how it happened, I think it was just all of a sudden in a dream. If I'm wrong then someone please correct me. Anyway, Lilith was equal parts terrified and thirsty over what we had become, thus the whole keeping us unconscious prisoner thing.

When we confronted her on this she asked us to speak with her in person. So the floor opened up and we descended down a damp staircase into a pitch black room made out of flesh. Lilith confirmed that this chamber was her true self, not just an extension like what we usually speak to, and that we were now officially inside of her.
She told us that having magic meant we now had a fully formed soul, not the simpler artificial "souls" other homonculi have. She wanted our soul. So of course we let her borrow it, use it's "flame" to ignite her own, and now she is "awakened" like us.

Your strength was not enough and you were captured by them.

You currently reside within their dungeon- surrounded by strange and horrible devices, contemplating the horrible tortures and perverse experiments they will no doubt conduct upon you in order to corrupt and convert your body and soul into some horrid, disgusting abomination.

All this would have been tolerable though, if only you had managed to save your children; if only they had spared your children and taken you instead. "Let me face the trials of your hellish insanity alone vile demons, but spare my daughters and sons- you cruel, uncaring, corruptions of my youth" you yell at them, baring your teeth and spitting flame- but your voice falls on deaf ears.

They either cannot understand you - lacking true divinity- or they are cruel, uncaring beings straight from the pits of hell.
You sit within your cage and contemplate your fate; praying for the safety of your children.

>+New Asset: Captured Chimera and 3 Kittens
>You have successfully manage to capture and contain -through non-lethal force- An Adult, Male, Chimera and the entirety of it's kittens. They currently reside in a make-shift enclosure within the laboratory until you decide what to do with them.
>Even though the Chimera Lion is sedated, he is still extremely aggressive; bellowing out horrible, ear-splitting, roars and lashing out at anyone who draws too close to the bars of his cage.

>>
>>45271918
Also there's a chimera problem I keep forgetting to mention. There is a chimera lurking around and we've been meaning to take care of it.

So now finally caught up to this thread, we and Lilith are the only two homonculi with actual souls.

We decided to mix together the traits of plus sized dolls (they have nearly-unbreakable spines, which makes sense) with soldiers to make the "Amazon". With all the traits of a soldier plus the dolls sense of empathy, strong back, as well as other, assets, she has the perfect blend of fighting ability and charisma to be the leader of the soldiers.

We have had chitin for a while now actually, but just learned how to effectively use it.

And I think that's about it.
Sorry if this was annoying to the people who have been following this, and if I made any mistakes or left something important out let me know.

you're missing the point completely my friend
not to mention we're basically arguing to brickwalls, you disagree with me, i disagree with you
but yes, i want organization, i want to be able to see how many people are playing, what their ideas of how the civ should go (even if we dont make those ideas a reality) and its really NOT a democracy, its just a mirage of one. realistically its a dictatorship(Cyclops obviously being the dictator, in a good way) and yes we should have a history of who said or did what, because it adds character and liveliness to the game- and speak for yourself as far as how you see democracy, because i see it differently my friend. not to mention your views on how we would discredit people for good ideas/bad ideas and all that mumbo jumbo shit- as well as blindly following others, no, its called learning when and how to use certain ideas/plans/actions to push the civ forward, and the best way to do that, in my opinion, is to be able to credit/pinpoint people instead of 11 "anons" all posting, with 2-3 of them shitposting and we cant tell whos being serious or not (even though honestly cyclops handles it very, very well)

So now what? Should we give kittens back to the dad? If so it would undoubtedly be difficult getting them back.
Is it at all possible for Lilith to examine and collect genes from the kittens without harming them? Just dropping them in the tank to be analyzed? Or maybe just collecting fur or blood?

Aaaannndd that's the end of our Session for the Week!

Thank you all for sticking it out. I hope I made it worth it to stick it out to the end- I realize we went a little late- and I also hope I've continued to deliver on the quality of story telling you've come to expect from me.

For those interested in seeing this series continued, the thread has been archived and you can vote for it here: http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive.html?tags=homonculi as well as catch up on previous sessions.

For those dissapointed or sad: I won't apologize for making you give a shit about an animal, but I will make an effort to handle this story better than the constant emotional roller coster that was Cyclops Quest.

I didn't think it would be interesting or rewarding writing the capture from our perspective.

Now that we're done, found a line in the cyclops civ quest that seemed relevant. Those lucky fuckers who were there for that can ignore, but for those of us who missed it
>Souls are not stagnant; they are alive, they change, they constantly shift partners, owners, and a single soul can be used to alight endless vehicles of life. Diverse and powerful souls are independent and cannot be controlled; but plants, microbes, and simple forms of life possess simple souls that are open to suggestion. Over generations they may be shaped, direct, and re-purposed for varied uses as they physically express themselves.

now that we know of how we were treating it, and how it "seems" non-sapient but i believe it is, we should definitely feed it/ take care of it and NOT kill it unless absolutely necessary. honestly we need to figure out some way to communicate with it, but for now leave it alone (maybe get it a bigger cage if necessary as well..)
>>45272127
very good idea, might give us some insight and possibly some way to communicate.
>>45272121
nah its great, some critique if you dont mind, the armor needs to be slightly bigger, and probably covering more of the body, not to mention the spikes(weapons) come from the arms and are projectiles, if you could incorporate that- but for the most part very good, honestly it would probably help cyclops out a lot if u could draw some shit for him (for his posts)

>>45272153
>seperate the father from the babies
not sure if serious or not, but probably the worst idea ive ever seen

NO, never apologize for the "constant emotional roller coster that was Cyclops Quest."
that was a work of genius, the whole way through, so many feels...
honestly dont change anything of how you write, unless you really believe it will improve on how you write.
not to mention that whole chimera perspective gave us insight on how the world works and what exactly should be our goal (in my eyes atleast)

>>45272207
wow crog, where were you?

i have one question im not sure the answer to, do we actually know what happened to the master? have we seen his remains?
>>
>>45272322
that is a very good qustion

The chimera is already separated from its children. If the kids can keep hearing their dad's yells and screams, they may resent us.

Thanks, I'll spend some of the upcoming week looking at various references and perhaps I'll rework this particular drawing. More likely I'll just redraw the character in a more static and easy to work with posture because I'm a lazy shitter.

Cy, what happened to the Masters Body? Did we bury him when we had yet to awaken? Is he a spooky skeleington now? Or did he just fuck off and die in hole, leaving us alone?
>>
>>45272014
Thanks dog, I'll stick around a bit and see how this goes.
>>
>>45272024
Oh fuck I scrolled right past this.
That's pretty great.
We have plenty of general fantasy pics that we've been using that just about fit the characters, but a lot of these characters seem to have weird parts or aspects, and it seems like they'll only continue to be more unique.
I'm really looking forward to seeing how these designs progress and all the art of them.

consider this my friend, since we cant understand the chimera, what makes you think the father cant understand his children and vice versa?
yes the father may be bad mouthing us, but the fact is, is that we dont really understand why (yet) and we will figure that out in time, but i REALLY dont think we should seperate them...especially RIGHT after we captured them, it almost seems like we're torturing/punishing them
-----
also something i've noticed.
chimera- its a goat, a lion, and a snake.
there are goats around the tower, and most likely snakes and lions somewhere around the tower as well, not to mention all of this text
>You fought with everything on the line, you held nothing back- You fought as though every deer, every sparrow, every goat, every beetle, every pheasant and cockatrice to even the reeds of the river edged and cheered you on to victory
which brings me to conclude that maybe, just maybe, these animals arent talking about a "human" or "homunculi" god, but an animal god
(like how a lion is the god/king of the jungle/sahara ETC) and maybe its just figurative talk

>>45272397
>lunch
lunch for 8 hours? holy shit m8 that is magical realm shit
>>45272403
do what you think is right, but me personally, i dont think you should "redraw" but instead retouch and pay close attention to detail, it might come out better than expected- good luck my friend
----------------
>>45272427
i have a theory but if im right it might ruin the "endgame" and im not sure if cyclops wants that
(this is all assuming if im right though)

Thanks for all the advice, I'll probably do both the touchup and the redraw if only to view her from different angles.

>Cy, what happened to the Masters Body?

Without getting into Meta Knowledge: You dumped it in the trash.
Also for those wondering: The Chimera isn't "sapient".

The Chimera is "sentient" obviously, but he is no smarter than the sum of his animal parts. His intelligence is comparable to that of a lion, this has obvious implications towards his perspective on the world.

ALSO, TO THOSE WHO DESIRE ALL THE LATEST, GREAT AND HOTEST META KNOWLEDGE ON THE SETTING: http://spaghettiart.tumblr.com/

I now have a Tumblr devoted to world-building and sfw'ish art dumping where I post all manner of draws and writes devoted to or involving the setting we've been using and all enjoying!

Feel free to follow and burden my life with world-building questions and drawing requests. http://spaghettiart.tumblr.com/

>The Master may be dead, but he still lives on
>At night his spirit lurks about in the laboratory, pursuing his strange experiments even in death.
>With no need to be concerned over his own safety anymore, he is free to dabble with the most destructive magicks, often causing loud explosions, booms, and repetitive thumping to echo throughout the floor
>You may hear other, more concerning sounds coming from the lab
>The deep, masculine grunting of the Master's ghost
>The moans and howls of whatever poor doll or soldier is trapped with him
>That's right; if interrupted in his experimentation, the Master will capture and torture whatever foolish homonculus dared enter the lab at night
>Only the Technician and I are allowed inside, to help the spirit with his lab work.
>That's why it's important for every good little homonculus to stay in bed at night and never, ever, EVER go inside of the laboratory no matter what they hear.

At least, that's what Lilith told everyone.

no problem m8, we need people like you(and to name a couple others sleepy fag, and that guy who made the cyclopean language/ alphabet ETC) to make this more immersive and easier to play/understand
you're doing gods work ego, more power to you

so either im right and you wont let the secret out that i might have figured it out, or im wrong and im a jackass for being so confident
---
also do you h8 me or do you not have alot of time? i would really like to run a civ (and talk with you etc about it) if you do have time though, drop a throw away skype or email-
another question, is there any way we can play/help while we arent playing? of course other than drawing etc? for example like the cyclopean language, would you give advantages to things like that or should we not bother with such trivial things

>Not using full grown Chimera and Otyugh as guardians in our near-future mutant fortress of flesh and chitin

Also, while not a contrarian meme, I have another idea on what we could do with the kittens. We should attempt to raise and train them as companions for the soldiers. Like attack dogs, or even riding them into battle.
>>
>>45272903
Not against this. Provided they don't need to be homunculized to avoid flaws.

The elder one is flawed. How do we know the younger ones won't become flawed in time?

Better to examine the elder, correct flaws, and then release again.

Why have lesser beings be out guards when we could use thier genetics to make the prefect guard?

Good point. Maybe they could be a sort of advanced guard, to hide our capabilities.
Have all our cool homonculus shit patrolling our home, but let the animals loose around the neighboring floors or wherever, just outside our home, to guard against trespassers while not giving outsiders any idea of what we really are.

Honestly I'm just looking for excuses why we shouldn't kill the cat, of course, but this still might work.
