Welcome to Banished Quest!
You take the role of a young mage labeled a criminal by his people and cast out into the wider world. In the last thread you returned to the surface and tried on a new suit of armor.

It is currently the 27th of Svarthi, in the year 936 NH.

You worry for Darzi. She looms before you as a confluence of golden threads flaring out brilliantly around the faint gleam of her soul. Wearing the Siege Armor the threads sing to you, whispering upon their gentle, thrumming rhythm the shallowest glimpse of what your friend and companion feels and thinks. It's as if with each step she takes a new note joins the symphony, casting light on what was previously hidden from you.

The overall impression you get of the symphony being played upon the strings of reality is a discordant one. Her thoughts are troubled, incredibly so. Is she jealous of you for some unknowable reason? Perhaps she feels powerless after your encounter beneath the palace, falling under the sway of that creature's influence while you resisted. Maybe it's simpler than that, perhaps she doesn't feel as though she contributes meaningfully to the party's well-being.

On the other hand, it could be more complicated. She could feel as though it's unfair that you routinely make immense errors in judgment and yet none of the party have died, yet she made a relatively minor error and got her entire command killed because of it. Briefly you worry if she intends on abandoning the party to pursue her own goals, to settle down and live in peace. She could be troubled by the thought of leaving.

It could be any of these things, none of them, or some combination of several. You can't glean the cause of her feelings simply from discerning her surface thoughts, only the feelings themselves. It's a frustrating predicament, and perhaps reveals one of Nature Magic's failings. With vys alone, one is only able to gain the vaguest impression of the thoughts of others. There is no substance, nor depth, to the brief snatches of emotion the chords reveal.

You're drawn reluctantly from your contemplation as Darzi begins to speak. You don't think you can actually hear her, the helmet lacked any obvious avenues to allow the passage of sound. Rather you pick up upon what she's saying because of the subtle shifts in the music played upon reality's strings. Curiosity, tinged with worry and a subtle note of fear. {Is that you, Mikhael? I can't recall seeing you in that suit of armor before.}

She'd probably kick our ass without magic, so it'd help get her mood up a bit. I'll back that, I think we should talk without wearing a massive suit of voyeur armor anyway.

I've also updated both your inventory and your companion pastebin. Inventory has some more info about the Siege Armor added, though not all of its manifold abilities. Companions has stats for the Elaudian armor under Darzi's entry.

You try to push your distorted perception into the background, but it's difficult. Everything you see, and everything you hear, is filtered through the armor. The gross abundance of information is overwhelming in its sheer immensity. Pushing through it, you allow your thoughts to join with Darzi's own and for the first time find yourself given a glimpse of what that entails.

One of the innumerable threads, presumably one which passes through you and is thus warped though you can't confirm this, twist in upon itself to mimic one of the distorted strands of reality that pass through Darzi herself. You don't feel any different, but a piece of your mind now exactly mimic's Darzi's own. {It's me. I bought the suit a while ago but haven't had an opportunity to try it out. Think we could spar for a while?}

She glances over your suit, raising an eyebrow. Her thoughts turn to contemplation, fear and worry replaced by self-assurance and slight excitement. {Sure, I suppose. I'll change into my own armor.} She thinks sparring you will relieve some of the stress she's been feeling lately, but doesn't voice this opinion. You absentmindedly wonder why as she turns sharply, presumably returning to her rooms.

You turn your attention instead to the garden while you wait. The toad has won out over the dust creature, its throat bulging outward and the occasional puff of dust escaping its gullet. These puffs of dust are themselves fought over by some of the other minor spirits, presumably hoping to consume any escaping spiritual essence before their rivals get the chance. It's odd to think that once Mahana was much like these creatures, little more than an insect in the grand scheme of things.

(1/2)
>>
Darzi's voice drifts through your thoughts, this time filtered through the brooches rather than merely picked up by the armor. {Is this a purely mundane sparring match, outside of our artifacts of course, or shall we employ our knowledge of magic as well? What of weapons? I feel comfortable allowing you to use whatever you would normally, but I worry your armor may not be as sturdy as my own.}

A glance over your shoulder reveals that Darzi has returned, garbed head to toe in a thick layer of Elaudian steel. Filtered through your augmented sight, she appears as a smear of grey on the opposite end of the garden. Certainly you can detect her vys reserves and vaguely discern the distortion of her mind, but it's somehow muted. Presumably she's shielded by her armor, but if that's the case why did she succumb to the influence of the Spice Fiend?

Dispelling your curiosity you find time to respond. {No magic, this time around at least. I mainly want to focus on what the armor is capable of. As for weapons, let's just agree that the fight is to first blood and use whatever weapons we usually would.}

You reach into your cloak, realizing distantly that you don't remember removing it to place it over your armor, and debate which weapon to use.

>You'll fight with the Hiacian Sabre and the Shield of the Scorpion
>You'll employ the Fiendish Trident, though you run the risk of doing serious harm if you do manage to land a hit.

I want to learn how to combine Nature and Fire magic since Fire governs physical perception and Nature governs mental perception. If we combine Nature and Fire and use it with Battle Trance we might be able to make combat enchantments a thing we can do.

Your shield slides out smoothly and as you strap the heavy piece of worm carapace to your left forearm your armor shifts, latching itself firmly onto the shield. You feel the shield almost as an extension of your arm, and your movements are no longer weighed down so heavily by the armor. It seems like the Shield of the Scorpion and the Siege Armor complement each other quite well.

You have a harder time choosing your weapon. The trident is no doubt the most powerful weapon in your arsenal, but if you do manage to score a hit on Darzi she's almost invariably going to be severely wounded. Perhaps mentally scarred. The spear you commissioned in Anthus has the greatest reach and it's the weapon you're most familiar with using, but it's entirely mundane. Of course you could use the Hiacian Sabre, and you admit you're interested to seeing if it might have any interesting properties in combination with the Siege Armor, but fighting with a sword would leave you at a disadvantage.

In the end you decide to use your Hiacian Sabre, so long as you're experimenting with your equipment you may as well experiment with your weapons as well. As your gauntleted hand wraps around the carapace hilt of the ancient blade you feel heat run down your arm, vys flowing readily into the weapon even though you're not consciously channeling nor do you feel drained by the effort.

The sword practically gleams as you draw it from your cloak, sheathed as it is in the byproduct of the divine. You take a few experimental swings to get your arm used to the motion and almost get the sense the sword is guiding your arm, rather than the other way around. It seems to know how you'll swing it before you make any move to do so.

Comfortable with your equipment you slide into your form, shield held firmly in front of you and sabre raised as the tail of the scorpion painted upon its front. Darzi adopts a low stance, her spear held loosely to her chest. She's readying herself for a lunge, unless it's merely a misdirection on her part.

>Combat Initiated!
>Enemies Remaining: Darzi
>Status: Unharmed

The two of you circle one another, her footfalls heavy and metallic against the paving stones of the garden pavilion. She seems to pick up on the fact that you're allowing her the initiative, and two quick steps bring her into striking range. The spear lashes out and you react instinctively, your shield raising to absorb the blow.

It glances harmlessly off to the side, but a second strike lashes forward and you adjust to block the blow. You don't get the impression that she's really trying to strike you, merely testing your guard. However, as you're beginning to contemplate an attack she side steps and the long blade of her spear swings towards your right side.

Your sabre is there to meet her blow, a shield of blue vys flaring from the blade. Her attack is violently repulsed, she very nearly loses her grip on her weapon, and nearly translucent field of blue once more wraps itself around your sword.

Darzi retreats just out of striking range, apparently deciding upon a more cautious approach going forward. You've surprised her with the strength of your defense.

>Try to break through her own. Feint to draw her off balance and then slip into her guard.
>Aim to disarm her. If you can rob her of the advantage of reach you should be able to attack with impunity.
>The point where her helmet joins the rest of her armor is open. If you can slip through her guard, maybe you can get a piercing thrust in there.

Well, you certainly feel invincible. Let's see how well you can actually fight in this enormous suit of worm hide. Recalling how violently her spear was repulsed when it touched the field generated by your sabre you go in swinging, aiming to disarm her using the force exerted by the field of vys.

You lunge forward, sabre darting out to slam into the blade of her spear. Unfortunately she was waiting for you. Just as you would have made contact she draws back, your blade sailing past harmlessly, and lashes out at you. You hear more than feel the impact of her spear against your side, apparently unharmed, but now she's behind you.

Something thwacks you in the back of the head, knocking you off balance. You manage to twist yourself around in time to prevent a follow-up strike, the flat of her spear slamming into the edge of your shield with enough force to numb your arm. You lash out with your sabre, making contact finally, and light blooms at the point of contact between her spear and your blade.

Darzi's thrown off balance by the blow, but rather than lose her grip on the spear she uses the momentum to swing the weapon around and bring the sharpened edge of the long-bladed spear sailing towards your head. Again your raise your shield, yet another hammer blow smashing into its face. You decide to withdraw before your shield arm goes completely dead.

So far the battle has been a stalemate. Neither you nor Darzi have been able to land any significant blows on the other. You think you might have better equipment overall, but she's more skilled than you are without a doubt. The fact she has the advantage of a spear versus your own weapon doesn't hurt either.

Darzi flourishes her spear, twirling the weapon elaborately above her head before settling back into her low stance. You can't help but feel she's probably showing off. You're about to take advantage of her showboating when she launches her own attack, a low jab aimed for your legs.

You quickly shift your stance, adjusting the position of your shield to deflect her attack. Much to your surprise she draws back at the last second, the attack proving a feint. It's fortunate that you hadn't taken advantage of the opportunity to step into her guard, otherwise she'd have you perfectly positioned for a follow up. You're ready for her follow up, a sweeping blow to your right side, and rather than block it you simply step forward and allow the strike to land against your side.

The haft of her spear thuds harmlessly against your armor and you trap it beneath your arm. A firm wrench frees it from her grip, and you quickly cast it aside. Now you've got her right where you want her, unarmed and at close range.

Channel all elements into the armour and achieve super saiyan

It takes only a single step to bring you into range and you drop low, your leg lashing out to strike her legs and hopefully knock her on the ass. However, you find your momentum arrested as a heavy clang rings out through the pavilion, your joints complaining as the strike what seems to be an immovable object.

A glance reveals spikes of metal protruding from her right leg into the ground, the paving stones cracked and fractured beneath her. You have only moments to question how this is possible without magic before her metal-clad foot smashes into your mouth, sending you reeling backwards. It doesn't really hurt, but you are dazed. The follow-up doesn't help either, as she hops off her back foot to send another kick sailing into your gut.

You feel the air rush from your lungs, even though the force of the blow was largely absorbed by your armor. Had you not been wearing it, you'd probably be sorting out your broken ribs. As is, you'll probably only have to worry about a bruise. You manage to raise your shield to defend yourself from her third kick but her forth smashes into the side of your head, nearly knocking you prone in the process.

You manage to stumble backwards, but the assault doesn't ease up. She follows two swift punches by stomping on your knee. Your armor prevents a break, but damn it, it still hurts. You really wouldn't have thought that she'd be more dangerous without a weapon than she is with one. It's only once you manage to put a fountain between yourself and Darzi that you're allowed a moment to think.

>Maybe if you get lucky, you can slip the blade through a joint in her armor and draw blood.

Yes, this. Thank you. So my theory is that while a dragon can't smash her into paste by punching her repeatedly, it can probably crush her into paste by stepping on her and putting her weight on that foot.

Alternatively, a person with a heavier soul than the armor's current wearer might be able to fuck with it by channeling water into it.

Well, the "go for the jugular" was a Piercing Thrust. If you'd succeeded, I would have treated the DC as if only half of her soak bonus had applied. So instead of a +24, it would have been a +12 again. If you'd managed to succeed against the +24 this would've turned a regular success into a Great Success almost certainly, meaning you would've won the fight.

However, the chances of succeeding were very low.

Wow I thought I posted this like ten minutes ago.

Well if you can't get past her armor via conventional means, perhaps you should shoot for something less than conventional. You draw away from the fountain, putting some distance between you and her. Predictably she comes charging after you, but rather than slash at her with your sabre, you discarded both it and your shield. Instead you opt to meet her charge, lowering your shoulder and trying to stay low to the ground.

As she gets close she twist herself fully around, her back leg swinging forward to catch you in the side of the head. You duck under it and shove yourself forward, your arms wrapping around the thigh of her extended leg. As predicted she's thrown entirely off balance, her head slamming into the paving stones with enough force to crack them. You think you've won, until you feel her legs wrapped around your torso.

She manages to drag you down with her, and via some arcane contortion you're not fully sure you understand, you find yourself pinned with her straddling your chest. The novelty of this wears off as soon as her fist crunches into your helmet. The first time isn't so bad, but by the fourth or fifth time you're starting to feel a bit of a headache. Plus the spikes drilled into your spine are really starting to itch.

You manage to get your arms up to guard your face, but you can't really do much else at this point. You're poorly positioned to strike back, and you don't think you're flexible enough to try pulling off whatever on Earth she just did.

Can we use the suit to read her thoughts/intentions? Would that made any offensives moves made by her be worth less?
>>
The flurry of blows cease, the pressure on your chest lessening as Darzi falls back, her head smacking against the paving stones between your legs hard enough to make her helmet ring. You can't imagine that's pleasant for her, though you suppose you can't really be certain.

Her thoughts ring through your own, tinged with contentedness and pride.{Pani's tits, Mik. I haven't had to try that hard since I was a recruit. You scarred me half to death throwing me off my feet like that.}

It seems she's judged the fight over, though technically you don't think first blood has been drawn. It strikes you that this would be really awkward if the both of you weren't wearing more than a hundred pounds of armor combined.

You sigh, though you don't think it's audible outside your armor. {Well at least I didn't go down easily. I sort of knew I was doomed from the start.} She rolls off of you, and you start getting to your feet. {That said I think we more or less accomplished what we set out to. I learned a lot about my armor. By the way, how'd you pool off that spike thing without channeling vys?}

You're not entirely sure about how to go about removing your helmet, but the thought of doing so seems to trigger its release. There's a hiss as pressurized air escapes around the neck line, and you're able to carefully lift it off your head. Your first breath of fresh air is a relief, but you notice an odd smell hanging heavy in the air. Only as the spikes begin to jerk themselves free of your spine do you realize the source, your own burnt flesh.

Your cuirass loosens, followed shortly thereafter by your pauldrons, rerebraces, and vambraces. However, as you begin to remove your armor you feel a blade pressed against your cheek. There's a slight sting as you cut your cheek on the metal, and you turn to see Darzi grinning from ear to ear, a thin line of crimson staining the blade of her spear. “First blood, remember?”

Weren't we doing that with the ring right now? If not we should. If we were maybe it's less a problem of filling up and more a volume issue, where the amount of vys going into our spine is more than we can handle. Like how our arm got fucked after that big spell however many threads back.
>>
>>45312430
thats pretty gay m8
>>
>>45312389
This isn't a blockage thing. This is what happens when the flow of vys through our body is too intense for it to handle. It first happened when we demonstrated Siege! to the people of Anthus and several times after that. We probably have fancy patterns where our flesh has burned.
>>
Listen, Darzi, you're one of my favorite people. I enjoy your company, and you bring a lot to this party. I want you to stay, but I'm not going to try to force you to do something you don't want. But let me ask you this, do you really feel like that's all your life means?

Remember the Mines of Longia? The little fire spirit we met, whom you asked what the meaning of life was? He said that life has no meaning, save for the one we make, and that we are all the masters of our own destiny.
If settling down in El-Amin to be some noble's trophy wife truly is the destiny you desire, then I'll support you in that. But I don't think it is, Darzi. I think you want and deserve more out of your life.

I think that as rough as things have been lately, and I admit they've been pretty rough, you enjoy the crazy and weird shit we do just as much as I do. I truly believe that as long as we continue to stick together, things will get better.

All that being said, I understand how difficult it can be to overcome the monsters in your head alone. I've been there. Several times, in fact. Half-alive spirits twisting my perceptions, and giving me nightmares. But I promise that regardless of what you choose for yourself, I'll do whatever I can to help you through it.
>>

The thin cut heals in an instant, leaving no sign of its previous presence. As you shrug off your pauldron you sigh, pain flaring briefly up and down your spine. “I'm not going to lie, I thought about doing that to you. I chose to be the bigger man. I resisted the temptation to be an ass.”

Darzi's steps out of her own armor, the Elaudian Steel flowing around her as easily as water. “I suppose there's a first time for everything.” She quips, before grabbing hold of the back of your cuirass. Together the two of you manage to lift the hunk of palaka carapace up and over your head. It hits the ground with a wooden thump, and you hear Darzi draw in a sharp breath. “Gods, Mikhael. What did you do to your back?”

You frown. “Well I don't rightly know, Darzi. I can't exactly see back there myself, can I? I've noticed it stings a bit but I figured that was just because of the spikes. What's wrong with it?”

You feel a finger press against your skin, and pain shoot up your spine as a result. You wince involuntarily. “Well I guess if we're excluding the giant gaping holes there's patterns carved an inch deep from your ass to your shoulders. Are you sure that's healthy?”

Channeling a bit of vys soothes the pain, and in a matter of moments you feel your skin beginning to knit closed. The holes themselves take the longest, the flesh burned there worse than it was elsewhere. “On the contrary, I'm almost certain that it's quite unhealthy. I was worried the armor might do something like this but I wasn't sure it would. I suppose it's a good thing our fight didn't last too long.”

WHO IS THIS POSTER?
>>
Collecting your cloak off the ground, you sweep it over the discarded armor. It's all swiftly collected by Ricky's diligent tentacles and stored away for later use, no doubt. You roll your shoulders to make sure nothing's loose or prone to split open at a moment's notice, and once satisfied with the job you've done healing yourself turn once more to Darzi. “Anyway, I'd say you owe me a few drinks for that bullshit you just pulled.”

She smirks. Maybe it's just the residual effects of that armor but you swear you can hear music ringing in the back of your head. “Maybe later, we could go out on the town and see about finding an inn.” She holds up a finger. “Or we could wait until we get through that portal. There's got to be a place to get drinks somewhere on the other side.”

She steps carefully back into her armor, and you notice for the first time that a small crowd had gathered to watch your little sparring match. Money is still changing hands, most of them seeming quite disappointed by the outcome though a few are very happy indeed. You suppose it's nice to know you were the favorite to win, at least. Even if that didn't end up meaning a whole lot.

Together, you and Darzi walk back inside and leave the garden behind. Her armor seems to have compacted itself, at this point it covers little more than her torso, thighs, and upper arms. She could probably hide it pretty easily under a robe, come to think of it. That might be worth trying. Regardless, she seems much more relaxed now. It seems like a little exercise really did do wonders for her state of mind.

Reaching into your cloak, you extract a bottle of wine. The glass is darkly colored and pulling the cork reveals its contents are a rich red. You think this is probably one of the better wines you liberated from those bandits, raising it to your lips confirms your suspicions. It hits the tongue sweet and went down smooth, leaving a subtle aftertaste of cloves. The bouquet is what really distinguishes it though. Lavender, and perhaps thyme, featured prominently.

Darzi takes the bottle when it's offered, pausing for a moment in the hall while she takes a swig. It seems to hit her a little harder than it did you, judging by the way she reels after just one sip. “Strong.” Is all she offers by way of comment before passing the bottle back, though personally you don't think it's any stronger than most other wines.

You take another sip, savoring it a moment before swallowing. As you pass the bottle you spring your question, the real reason you went through all the trouble of getting your ass kicked. “So what was bothering you earlier? I've noticed you've not been yourself the past few days, you've been brooding.”

Darzi runs her fingers through her hair, it's getting long come to think of it. Then again, so is your own. It's been a while since you've gotten your hair cut. “I don't know-” She pauses, raising the bottle to her lips and taking a much more generous pull this time around. Wincing as she pushes the bottle into your chest, she resumes speaking. “-I guess it's been a few things. I've been thinking a lot about my own command. Back in El-Amin, before I was captured. Plus I've been wondering after the health of my family. Usually they'd swing through El-Amin in the spring to trade”

Right, sometimes you forget she's one of the Bhataki. Not truly a tribal people but rather bands of wandering entertainers, prostitutes, and thieves. “Were you hoping to get a chance to see them when they visited?” You ask before taking another sip.

Your companion merely shrugs, cradling the bottle for a moment. “I don't really know, I suppose I was. I haven't seen them in a few years, but I think it would be nice to let them know I'm not dead.”

You get the sense there's more to it than that, but you're not sure if it would be wise to pry. She doesn't seem to have the best relationship with her family. Still, something's bothering you. Memories of the past and her family don't exactly explain the overwhelming sense of inadequacy you felt radiation from her thoughts earlier. “Are you sure that's all there is to it? I consider you a friend, Darzi. A dear friend at that. If there's something bothering you, or that you feel you need, simply say the word.”

She shoots you a suspicious glare, raising the bottle once more to her lips. She shoves the bottle a little more forcefully into your hands than you'd like, a note of anger in her voice. “What has Mortia told you?”

You hold up your hands in mock surrender, almost dropping the wine in the process. Now that would've been a real tragedy. “Nothing at all, Darzi. Not a thing. I just got the impression you weren't telling me the whole story.” This wine is pretty strong actually, you're feeling a slight buzz and you've barely worked your way through a third of the bottle.

Darzi seems to deflate, some of the fire leaving her eyes. “Gods above, I'd thought I was hiding it well.” She mumbles, more to herself than to you. “I just don't know how useful I am, Mik. Sure I can take a hit, but that's only because of the armor. Armor you gave me. I stumbled into that trap in the caves like an utter fool, and that's not the first time I've felt like dead weight. I just wonder if maybe we weigh you down more than we contribute.”

Or our cloak. Lots of shit we looted in there after she joined. Kind of her right to grab her share from among our artifacts.

Can anon think of any specific examples where she was really useful in battle? I frankly can't, but it might do her good to remind her of a few of those moments right now if there actually are any.

We do in fact need to increase the party's general magic skill. Many of them still only have the apprentice vatis skill level; this includes, oddly enough, Chryssa. She's a GM. This is an unacceptable state of affairs.

I think you suffer from the soldier syndrome, you still acts like a soldier and react as one when things happens. It isn't bad mind you, but it makes you "rigid" compared to Chryssa, Prof and me. Prof did that as well when we first adventured, it took him a lot of time to shake it off and he still reverts into it from time to time. Myself I suffer from the vatis syndrome, which is I give no fuck since I will just heal myself up if anything happens.
You understand where I'm going aren't you?

Nah but seriously, I need to go to bed if I want to wake up in time for class tomorrow. Or both. Both is also good.

More firepower isn't the issue, like she said the armor does that. The problem is that the armor isn't HER.

That just makes it sound like we see her as a tool we keep around to help us reach our goals. The point you're trying to make is solid, but the wording is pretty terrible because, well, you said it yourself.

Also, I just realized how well Soma wrote Mik. He's pretty much Anonymous as a whole, viewed through a less comedic lens than usual. Brilliant, unhinged, unfocused, amoral and utterly lacking in common sense, not just because those are the decisions we make him go through with, but also in how he thinks and acts. Everything that makes him deplorable is also the things that make him lovable, and vice versa.
>>
>>45314773
>Darzi is everyone's handler
kek
>>
>>45315011
And as a result Mik perfectly lives up to the stereotype of vatis being absolute fucking nutjobs.
>>
>>45315043
it's not a stereotype if there are tangible, proven, metaphysical reasons causing arcane might to come hand-in-hand with insanity. which there are.
>>
>>45315079
His blatant lack of common sense has lead to make some very impressive discoveries. Like the insights into true magic we got.
>>
>>45315014
This is basically true though.
>Mik: high power, high insanity, basically schizophrenic as anon's viewpoint character, no sense of right and wrong
>Chryssa: emotionless, autistic, superpowered ticking time bomb when high insanity, Mik's yes man when low insanity
>Profectus: degenerate placed out of time, PTSD, basically a soldier through and through, won't disobey his CO
>Fulvia: pretty insane robot, bent on resurrecting a long dead empire for world domination, a more fanatical yes man for Mik because she thinks he's her Dux
>Mortia: mad scientist, no moral compass (literally everything is justified if it doesn't go against her companions and is for ¡SCIENCE!) plus she comes from dystopian shithole Namek anyways
>Skull Kid: career criminal who's done it all, no sense of right and wrong
>Zahak: thinks the insane schizophrenic vatis is his dad, looks to him as a role model. Literally a future walking (flying) WMD who absorbs everything from daddy like a sponge

Darzi is literally the only sane man/voice of reason in our group, and also the only one able to rein in any single member of the group. The fact that she's also the moral center (sorta) and keeps us from going off the deep end into fill blown CE randumb shit makes her more valuable as team mom than whatever combat capability she brings
>>
>>45315358
To be fair, Mik is doing a good job of instilling actual good morals in Zahak so far.

We want our boy to be well adjusted, after all.
>>
>>45315358
>mfw I realize if soma was a competent gm and not the shitposting faggot qm he is, darzi would basically be the underpowered dmpc who exists to keep the game on track without overshadowing the player characters
>>
I just realized that we could enchant a stuffed rat to shit out gold coins when a cock is put in its mouth. We'd have to meditate on gold and cock to figure out their runes, but it wouldn't be that big of a deal. 20 hours max to do the meditations then find the perfect rat and stuff it and then slap the enchantment on it.
>>
>>45315381
>implying Soma wants to keep the game on track at all
