You personal IS, Blue Tears, is a 3rd generation IS that specializes in long range firepower through the use of your laser rifle and laser bits with medium range missiles if the opponent starts to close the distance. But what truly sets your Blue Tears apart is your laser bits. Remote controlled drones that allow for multiple attack vectors with the on-board laser weapon. An elegant and refined machine perfectly suited for you.

You enrolled into the Japanese IS Academy to fulfill your end of a favor your government asked of you. To collect data and combat experience for the Blue Tears so that the British government would protect your parent's estate. Your A+ aptitude with IS' was a windfall for the government but protecting your parent's legacy from the leaches and pigs after their estate is far more important. Even if your mother and father had a strained marriage, you still want to protect what they left for you. Your mother's strength often collided with your father's indecisiveness. “A net gun isn't standard procedure for a medical checkup. Something else is going on.” Laura adds with a matter of fact tone.

“You're right, maybe we should go check on him. He did spend a week avoiding her.” Charlotte says after some thought.

“Unfortunately, Ms Cooley will not allow that.” Irma tells you all.

“And why not?” you ask with a stern and cold tone.

“Correct. John along with Reinforce were the minds that designed the new programming behind my improved laser bits.” you answer proudly.

“Is that true Reinforce?” Chouhei asks her.

“Yes. John, Cecilia and I rewrote the entire bits programming to the new standard. It was a fun learning experience to see how John programs.” Reinforce answers.

Laura has a jealous and pained expression.

“No fair.” Laura murmurs, her voice full of jealousy.

“You should have asked John to help you outside of practice matches Laura.” Charlotte tells her with a soothing tone. “John enjoys talking with me about weapons and how to use them.” Charlotte adds with a smile.

“He also teaches me something called CQC while we, talk about other stuff.” Houki adds with a bit of embarrassment towards the end.

Just what sort of 'stuff' is Houki talking about but you will have to leave that for later.

“I'd rather just talk to the manager. I want that footage of John being captured by the net gun.” Rin says with a joyful tone.

You just look at her somewhat annoyed.

“What? It was too good.” Rin starts to say be fore she starts to laugh, “He, he got caught by the net and then fell flatly over. And they carted him off.”

Your annoyance grows as Rin's laughter grows louder.

“We should head straight to John.” Laura says as she starts to follow Chouhei.

Charlotte stops her by placing her hands on her shoulders and leads her towards Irma and yourself.

“We should wait until we have clearance.” Charlotte tells Laura.

“Patience is a quality necessary in a lady.” you add.

Houki nods in agreement as she says, “Knowing when to act and when not to act is a desirable quality in a maiden.”

“Maybe someone on John's maintenance team recorded it.” Rin says to herself.

You can feel you annoyance grow slightly at Rin's words.

Chouhei goes in the same direction Edith and John went. Jack goes off in a different direction while Irma leads you back towards the way you came. After a short walk, you arrive to a glass walled waiting room overlooking the Main Manufacturing Line. Inside, you find a rather plush couch to sit on. Houki takes the seat next to you as Charlotte and Laura sit across from you. Rin finds a single seat to relax upon in an unladylike manner.

“Earl Gray sounds appropriate.” you say, letting the waiting person know your order.

“I would like some green tea.” Houki tells her, following your lead.

“I think I'll have some soda.” Rin orders.

“I think I'll have some orange juice.” Charlotte says.

“Hot chocolate with lots of milk.” Laura orders.

“Do not forget some sweet biscuits to go with the tea.” you say to let the intern know.

The intern leaves to get your orders ready.

“Thank you for all being patient. I didn't expect Edith to use a net gun to capture John.” Irma tells you all with a slightly exhausted tone.

“Is that normal for her to treat John in such a manner?” you ask, worried that John had to bear such indignities in silence.

“Not really.” Charlotte answers, “It's just sometimes John doesn't want to talk about what sort of tests he undergoes.”

“He does act awkwardly after the checkups sometimes. But it seems like most of the time it's just some regular medical checkups.” Houki replies. “But he isn't stiff on Sundays so I just thought he doesn't like going to doctors.” Houki adds.

“So this is not a regular occurrence.” you state, taking in Houki and Charlotte's words.

“Well, Edith did always have a terrible bedside manner.” Irma adds.

“But then why did John avoid her for a week before we left Japan?” Laura asks calmly.

Did he suspect she would do something extreme? Or did he just avoid her as an excuse to stay with you? Staying up the night with him together was very enjoyable as did napping in your room together.

“Regardless of where he was during that time, it seems extreme to treat John in such a way.” you answer.

“That may be true but how many other IS pilots have you heard Second Shifted a 3rd generation IS?” Irma counters.

“That's true but John is the only male IS pilot. He's someone that you can't find anywhere else.” Charlotte answers.

Houki and you nod in agreement at Charlotte's words. John really is a precious person.

“He should be treated better. John is my husband after all.” Laura says matter of factly.

“Ah, you must be Ms Rydia Cooley.” you say as you get up from your seat. “I am Cecilia Alcott.” you introduce yourself before you curtsy.

Rydia gracefully nods in response to your curtsy before responding, “ Yes, I am Rydia Cooley, CEO of Fairy Arms and Manufacturing. I believe you wanted to talk to me.”

“Yes, there were several things I wanted to talk to you about. One would be about John's current treatment by Ms Edith Foss. And the second item would be about acquiring use of the same Direct Neural Interface currently used by John and the Maeve.” you tell her.

Rydia has a questioning look at Jack which he responds with a nod.

“I have not read the report about the breakthroughs with John's Second Shifted Maeve so that will have to wait. But if it's about John's treatment, what did Edith do now?” Rydia asks.

“She used a net gun.” Irma answers her.

“After she surrounded him.” Jack adds flatly.

Rydia just sighs at their answers.

“I will call her now to see if it was justified, so please wait here.” Rydia tells you before heading to a phone in the corner of the room.

With excellent timing, your orders are brought in by the earlier intern. Your drinks are quickly served with some sweet sugar cookies and a tray of small confections.

“This Earl Gray is quite delicious.” you comment after a long, refreshing sip.

“This slice of cake is also good.” Charlotte says after taking a small bite of the strawberry cake.

“You should try the cookies. They are just the right amount of sweetness.” Houki adds after taking another cookie.

“You are right. These cookies are good.” Rin replies after taking a large bite from one.

“We receive quite a few meetings with governments and their pilots asking about our IS' so naturally we would have high quality refreshments.” Rydia informs you after finishing her call.

“Is there an observation area we could view from? To make sure John is fine.” you ask.

“There is none for Edith's lab for security reasons. But rest assured we will see him once the test is done.” Rydia answers you.

A small amount of jealousy rises from your chest because of Houki's words. Do not think that just because you have family he can meet that somehow you are ahead of me.

“It might be best to let her completely test John. You have to make sure nothing more is wrong with him.” Rin says with a grin.

“If those are your feelings, why did you follow John back to his home?” Laura asks after finishing her hot chocolate.

“No reason what so ever.” Rin snaps back, her voice flustered, “I thought it would be fun to have a free vacation.”

You get the feeling that Rin is really just lying to herself. But she is no contest for your feminine assets and grace. Only Houki can match your sizes while only Charlotte can match your grace. Capturing John's heart will be effortless once he fully gives himself over to you.

“Then it's decided. Once the current test is over, we'll check on John and Edith.” Rydia says in agreement.

While waiting, Rydia is debriefed by Jack over some of the improvements John's Maeve underwent. Jack may have been more interested in the aerodynamics and the technicalities of the improved equipment but Rydia was intrigued by the Direct Neural Interface and the data linking capabilities.

While eavesdropping is unladylike, you could not but help hear about how the data linking is something the US Government has been researching in. How linking an IS flawlessly into the expansive US Military network so an IS pilot could use US Military drones to augment their fighting ability is quite similar to the way you use your laser bits. But you do not think that is everything.

You did not have to wait long after everyone has finished their snacks and drink. The call was sent that the current test John was undergoing has finished. You gracefully stand up and let Rydia and Jack lead you to Ms Foss' laboratory. After walking to a rather secluded area of the compound, you reach the laboratory. You stop just in front of the doors to make sure the testing has finished. Once given the all clear, you enter the brightly lit room. Standing there is John, naked and strapped to an upright medical bed.

And that's it for this thread. Next time you'll have to deal with being naked and captured in front of everyone.
