Welcome back to WrestleQuest! This is a SOL Quest in which you take the role of young Robin Winters, as he tries to make it big in the crazy world of pro-wrestling under the persona of The Ace.

Last Thread, you bailed a friend out of jail, gave said friend a place to live, and proved you could hang in the ring with the TWA Champion, almost getting a concussion in the process. Oh, and your best friend just kissed you. Good luck sorting this one out.

>Player Question
Are you ready to break at least one heart today?

You pull away from Kimberly as she edges closer and closer towards you. Her lip is trembling. "Did... did I do something wrong? You didn't kiss me back."

You stare at her in disbelief. You didn't expect this kind of sudden action to come from your best friend of two years. "You... kissed me." Those are the only words you manage to get out.

Kimberly starts waving her arms around, frantically trying to explain. "Ace, last night... when I saw you collapse in that ring... you have no idea how worried I was about you. I thought the worst might have happened, that I might have lost you, and I realised... I can't hide it anymore. I want to be with you, Ace. I always have. I-I know you feel the same way... right?"

This is a lot to take in so suddenly. Kimberly's eyes begin to well up as you remain silent. She grabs you by the arm, demanding an answer. "You have to feel the same way! I know you're with Abby, but I know you're not serious about her! You don't really like her! You love me... right? You... you have to."

The tears are flowing, as Kimberly pulls herself even closer, burrying her face into your chest. You can feel the heat of her breath as she whispers a muffled "Please."

>I do feel the same.
>I'm so sorry... but I don't.
>I... need some time to process this.
>Get out.

Hmm, maybe I should have waited and put the thread up later than usual, when more people are online, seeing as the first choice of this thread is bigger than the other threads to date.

To that end, I'll give some more discussion topics to pad things out until more people get in here and enough votes are cast.

Abby
Pros:
Kind
Cute
Shy?
Talented

Cons:
Anxiety
Shy
In a band

Kim
Pros:
Known for years
Cute
Wrestler

Cons:
Pushes other girls away from Robin
Possessive
Seriously what the fuck is with the kiss Kim?

I'm just worried what the fuck happens when we break up with Abby for Kim and what Kim does when we leave her for someone else.
>>
>>46033120
>implying that Kimberly's not talented
Sleepy, please.

>I'm just worried what the fuck happens when we break up with Abby for Kim and what Kim does when we leave her for someone else.
Abby will have to deal with it. We've only been out on a couple of dates. I don't think we should plan to ditch Kimberly in the near future.
>>
>>46032548
>I need time to process this...

Serriously guys, this seems like such a dick move.
>>
>>46033191
The dick move was stringing Abby along because the majority didn't want to let her down easy.
>>
>>46033180
>>46033210
But what if another girl comes along that hits all of Robin's buttons after going out with Kim twice? Are you going to drop her when that happens like Abby now?
>>
>>46033235
The thing is, right now Kimberly feels like she didn't even get a shot at Robin. She had these feelings, but she (kinda-sorta) kept them to herself, and then things escalated and she just couldn't do that anymore.

If Robin goes out with her for a bit and it doesn't quite work (and unlike you, I'm not going to go from an "if" to a "when"), he can give her the "you'll always be one of the most important people in my life" speech and she doesn't have to live with a whole lot of "what if"s bottled up inside her.
>>
>I do feel the same.

"You... you do?"

Kimberly pulls her head back and looks up at you, tears streaming down her face. You never noticed how bright her eyes were until this moment. "I knew it." She hugs into you, tight. "I knew you loved me. I knew you couldn't love anyone else. It's always been us, Ace. Since day one..."

You feel Kimberly's heavy breathing as you body presses up against yours, as your burnt breakfast goes cold on the counter. You hug Kimberly back, gently placing your hand on the back of her head and stroking her golden blonde hair. She's not done crying into you just yet.

As the tears begin to dry up, Kimberly clears her throat, hesitant to ask the next question. "So... what about Abby? You're going to stop seeing her, right? What are you going to do about her?"

>I'll have a talk with her the first chance I get.
>Let's not worry about that now. Let's just spend some time together.
>She doesn't have to know about us.
>>
>>46033363
>I'll have a talk with her the first chance I get.
Live the gimmick.

>I'll have a talk with her the first chance I get

"Okay... be sure to let her down gently. She's a nice girl."

Almost as if being summoned, your phone goes off, Abby on the other end. You break away from Kimberly in order to take the call.

"Hi Robin, just calling to let you know that we might have found something for David. It's janitor work in a hospital... but that's a good start. Anyway, we'll be back at the apartment soon. I hope you're doing okay."

"I am. Thanks, Abby."

*CLICK*

You sigh as you put the phone back in your pocket. The next few hours may end up being as painful as your skull right now.

"I guess I should go..." Kimberly says, rubbing her left arm. "I don't think I should be around for this. Get well soon, Ace. We'll talk later." She kisses you on the cheek and takes her leave, as you resign yourself to the couch. Cat Jenny crawls up next to you and curls herself in a ball on your lap, as you try to work out just what you're going to say to Abby.

>1 HOUR LATER

Abby and David make their way through the door, holding a few bags of groceries. Abby is also carrying a box of Chinese take-out.

"Why aren't you in bed?" David asks as you lay on the couch.

"I... just needed to get up for a while."

David shrugs and starts unpacking the bags. Abby smiles as she sees you. "I know the breakfast I made wasn't great, and I know how much you like Chinese food, so I... oh."

She notices the now half-empty box of Chinese food Kimberly brought by. "Did... did someone visit?"

"Yeah, Kimberly brought Chinese food."

"Oh, that was nice of her. Well, I got more, if you're still hungry," she answers, placing her box on the counter next to the rest. She isn't making this easy for you.

"Hey, Abby..." you manage to get out.

"Yes?"

David senses the tone in your voice, recognising this as a private conversation. "I'll leave you two alone for a while," he says before stepping out of the apartment.

"What... what do you want to talk about?" Abby asks, picking up the plate of burnt breakfast you barely touched.

"Well... we need to talk about us."

"... Oh."

You shift uncomfortably on the couch, causing the cat the get off, running towards your kitchen area. "Abby... you're a really nice girl, and a good friend, and I enjoy spending time with you..."

Abby's smile fades. She knows where this is going. Never in the history of relationships have those three compliments ever been listed in a row without a "But" coming immediately after.

Look, the reality of a quest thread is that sometimes votes happen when you're not around and they don't go the way you'd like. If Booker Man starts with the recounts, there will be demands for a recount on every important decision. The best way to avoid being butt hurt is to accept that sometimes you win the votes and sometimes you don't.

>But when Kim came over she confessed and kissed me. To be honest I did kinda like her before but I didn't know she liked me as well.

Abby is left speechless. She just stares at you, mouth agape, until tears start to stream down her eyes. "Kimberly? You like her?"

"I-"

"All this time? You w-wanted to be with her?"

"Well-"

"Then what the hell was I?!"

Abby's voice cracks as she yells at you for the first time. You never knew she was even capable of anger. She runs her hand through her hair as she begins to pace and breathe heavily. "Oh god, she was right... she said you'd never want to be with me, that you only had eyes for her, that I was just a placeholder..."

"What? Who said that?" you ask, even though you know the answer.

"Goodbye, Robin."

Abby storms out the door before you even have a chance to speak. You're left standing in the middle of your apartment, racked with guilt, until thankfully David returns to break up the silence.

"I'm not going to ask," he says, making his way to the fridge. "You okay?"

>Breaking up is hard.

This isn't Kimberly's fault, this is our fault for saying something incredibly cruel and hurtful, as predicted in >>46034497. The anon who suggested it (and probably same-fagged for it) has been crying about the injustice of being outvoted since >>46033536.

>>46034935
Not Abby's fault either, we had multiple options to let her down easy and could have dealt with this a lot better.
>>
>>46034989
I'm not aging it is her fault, I'm saying we fucked up by committing too early. And now we have to deal with the drama that is the fact she sings our theme.

really what the hell else did we expect.

Can't we all just say that Robin is an 18 year old male and that he fucked up. Let's move passed this mistake until eventually we make the exact same mistake again
>>
>>46035029
The road to salvaging this is apologizing unconditionally. Something like, "I'm sorry and I'm not asking you to change how you feel about me, I deserve to be hated for saying what I did. All I want to do is let you know that you weren't a second choice. When I told you I'd always liked Kim, I just meant that I'd always thought she would be an important part of my life. It wasn't until she came to me and said she wanted more that I realized just how important she was to me."

>>46035093
No, it was you being petty. You said you were done with this quest almost two hours ago. Yet you're still here trying to give us cancer.
>>

So Kim's words to Abby don't mean shit? So she can get away with verbally dressing her down and insulting her and not have any consequences for it?
>>
>>46035241
Sleepy please chill out. I understand why you're so pissed and I agree with you whole heartedly. Let's just endeavor to talk with Kim about her manipulative ways in the future. And if we end up single because of it then we'll fucking lay in the bed we made like a man.
>>
>>46035241

Abby didn't say who "she" is. It fits your prejudices to say that "she" is Kim (despite evidence that the Princess ain't that jealous), but a sane person wouldn't leap to that conclusion.

David shrugged. "You're young. You're stupid. You might also be concussed. You're allowed to make a mistake every now and then. We're not all perfect, not even you Ace."

The advice lifts a little of the guilt off your shoulders but it isn't enough. "A lot of stuff just happened so fast. I don't know what I'm supposed to do."

"I'll tell you what you're supposed to do. Go to bed. Sleep it off. You're not in any condition to be making decisions, and I don't want to be your doctor."

David chases you off into your room, where you decide the only thing you can do now is get some much needed rest.

>WEDNESDAY, MARCH 23rd 2016

You apparently forgot to switch your alarm off last night, as it begins blaring, piercing down deep into your skull. A good 5 presses of the snooze button later, and you've had enough, forcefully ripping the batteries from the clock. You sigh, ready to slump back under the covers, when your phone goes off.

"Ugh... hello?"

"Hey hey hey, dude!" Danny's voice rings out from the other end. "Hope you're recovering! If you want, I can swing by to keep you company! I'll bring beers... uh, for me! I'll bring you a juice box or something."

>Sure, come right over.

You must have fallen back asleep as soon as you answered Danny, because the next thing you know you're been woken by a knock on your door.

You slowly and groggily answer it, as Danny pushes his way in with a six-pack in one hand, and a tangled up video-game console in the other. "I figured the two of us could have a guy's night in, and seeing as you aren't in condition to leave the apartment, I brought the fun to you!"

You quickly help Danny with the console as it begins to slip from under his arm. "I'm telling you man, you should have seen Kassius' face after your match. Dude was livid! It was great!"

Danny gets setting up the console to your tv right away. He talked for so much as he did, you didn't even get a chance to welcome him in. It's reached the point where you can't even say "Come on in, make yourself at home" sarcastically at this point. Either the head wound has slowed you down more than you thought, or Diamond's motor mouth is running in full-gear today.

"By the way, Ace, I kinda want to ask you something."

You don't like the sound of this.

"Kimberly and I went out for some Chinese food a few days ago. We've never really hung out before, just me and her. She always seemed too repulsed to give me the time of day, but I really enjoyed myself."

You remember this. You were busy training that night, so Kimberly invited Danny out instead.

"I was just wondering, since you know her better than anyone... do you think she's interested in me? Do you think I've got a shot?"

Oh boy, here we go. When are you going to be afforded some peace and quiet from this drama? And here you thought staying out of the ring for a week was going to stop people from getting hurt.

"Yeah, bud?" Danny looks up at you as he unravels a controller.

You take a deep breath before continuing. "Some stuff happened yesterday. Kimberly... confessed her love for me, and I... broke up with Abby for her."

"Oh... so you're saying I don't have a chance with Kimberly?"

"I'm sorry, man... but no."

Danny takes a step back and slumps into the couch. "Well... that kinda sucks. Hey, do you want to be player one or player two?"

"That's it? You aren't mad?" you ask.

"Why would I be mad? I'm kinda bummed, but I didn't really expect her to be interested in me. I just had to ask, you know? To be sure. Now, sit down and let's play."

Danny hands you a controller as you hesitantly sit on the couch. "So... what game did you bring?"

"Well, I figured since you're being kept out of the ring for a week, I figured you'd like to find some way to wrestle, soooooo I brought UPW 2k16!"

The game is terrible, but fuck it. You'll play it.

Danny boots up the game and goes straight for a PvP match. As his character, he selects a custom wrestler he's named after himself.

"Danny, you aren't that tall..."

Hitting the random select on the menu has you choosing, of all people, Sunny Martinez. Possibly the biggest jobber in the history of UPW. You're not even sure how he managed to make his way into the game, but he has the lowest overall score of 60. Danny granted his custom wrestler with the overall rating of 99, because of course he did. Whatever, you decide to just roll with it.

"Okay, time to choose the arena. Starrcade ought to do it..." Danny mutters, flicking through the menus.

"Was it always your dream to fight Sunny Martinez at Starrcade?"

"It might be, you don't know!" Danny joked. As goofy as the guy is, you could definitely use some jokes right now.

The two of you play into the late hours of the night, until David returns to the apartment and chases the two of you off the couch so that he can get some sleep. Danny doesn't question why David's living with you now. In fact, he doesn't seem to notice anything amiss about it. He starts to take his leave of the apartment when he turns around. "This was fun. I'll leave the game here in case you want to play it yourself. I've got a lot of training to do if I want to look half as good as you did against Kassius when I go against him this Friday!"

You had almost forgot. At a previous show, Adam Black and "Diamond" Danny Gable earned a triple threat match against the TWA champion for this week's show. Hopefully, Kassius doesn't try to do to them what he did to you.

"By the way..." Danny continued, "You're definitely coming to my Starrcade viewing party on Sunday, right? I mean, it could be our trainers last ever match! We can't miss that! And everyone will be there!"

"Everyone?" you ask, suddenly realising the trainwreck the party could become.

>I wouldn't miss it for the world.
>I don't think I'll be going to that. I might just watch the show here by myself.

Danny smiles as he walks down the hall, leaving the apartment. You shut the door, and stretch your arms, tired.

"Get some more rest," David mumbles, laying down on the couch with the cat rested upon his stomach. "You'll feel better soon enough."

"I hope so," you answer back, returning to your room. "I miss when all I had to worry about was wrestling."

The next few days consist of much of the same thing. Bed, tapes, food, bed. Repeat. It's pretty much the only thing you find yourself doing to both fill the day and clear your head. The plus side is, you manage to get a lot of studying done in this time, especially in certain key areas of understanding a match. The next time you step in that ring, you are going to look like a Star.

"Welcome to Casa Del Gable! Fashionably late as usual, Ace! Good thing you got here, too! The air was a little... tense."

You arrive at Danny's Starrcade viewing party, with a heavy heart and sweaty palms. Kimberly's here. So is Abby. The two women are likely trying to avoid each-other as much as possible right now, but that's going to become more difficult now that you've entered the picture. You're going to have to deal with the situation you've created for yourself... or do you?

After all, this is a Starrcade viewing party. Hardly the time or place to be pulling out relationship drama... right? Perhaps you can manage to make your way through the day by ignoring the problem at hand and blindly watching the show. Nah, it'll never work. The problems will come to you sooner or later. Looks like Ace isn't going to get to enjoy Starrcade this year...

>Sit down, shut the fuck up and watch the wrestling show.

You don't have to deal with anything today. All of that stuff can wait for later. Today, you're going to sit your ass down on Danny's couch, point your stupid face at his big screen tv, and watch the one thing you love more than anything else in the world. Wrestling.

Besides, you told Owen you would take up the responsibility of the Locker Room Leader. What kind of leader drags his own personal problems in front of the rest of the roster. You seat yourself down between Adam Black and Jenny Deth, two completely neutral parties when it comes to your issue at hand, as you pop open a water bottle and get to the show.

The First match on the card is a strong one. A battle between "Superstar" Jacob Cassidy and "Daredevil" Jake Harvey for the Intercontinental Championship.

"Cassidy's a TWA original, you know." Adam polishes off his glasses before placing them back on his face.

"Really?"

"Yeah, he and Owen used to tear the roof off the building every night. Pretty sure he's the one who was lobbying hard for Owen in the first place."

"DRINKING GAME TIME!" Jenny yells, causing you and Adam to turn your heads in her direction. "Take a drink every time he goes for a superkick, but it gets dodged! He overdoes the spot like crazy."

Sure enough, Cassidy goes for his patented superkick finisher, names the Starmaker, a good 12 times during the match, before finally landing it to pick up the win and retain the Intercontinental title.

"I honestly think he's going to break the record for longest reign," Adam mutters.

"Unless Owen comes in and immediately challenges him for it. That would be pretty cool to see," you reply, taking a mouthful of water.

Suddenly, someone pops up behind you on the couch. "Hey, handsome."

It's Kimberly. Okay, all you have to do is play it cool and not make a mess of everything.

"Hey, Princess. There's a place to sit next to Jenny. You better snatch it up, before someone else gets there."

Kimberly looks a little annoyed to not be beside you, but she seems to understand your desire not to make things between the two of you public just yet.

The Tag Title match is up next, as four separate teams take each-other on in a Ladder match. A whole bunch of dangerous spots and stunts are pulled off, many tables are broken, until finally one team manages to pull down the belts a become the new champions.

"Eh, I could do all of that," Jenny mumbles after the spots, unimpressed by the danger involved in the match. "Hey Ace, you wanna get me another beer? I left a crate of the stuff in the kitchen."

"A crate? For yourself?" you ask.

"Are you surprised?" she replies.

Hey, you live to serve, right? If someone asks you to fetch them a crate of beer between matches, that's just what you're gonna do. You get up and make your way to the kitchen.

As you enter, you come across Danny chatting with a certain face. One you had hoped to avoid as much as possible today.

"T-thanks for having me here, Diamond..." Abby said, leaning against a countertop. "I've been pretty down lately, since... well..."

"What? Since Ace dumped you?" Danny asked, innocently.

Upon hearing that, you grimace. Partly out of guilt, and partly out of embarrassment for Danny, who is unable to sense tone.

Jenny looked down at her shoes. "Uh, yeah... since that. I'll be fine though, I've just needed some time to..." she trails off as she sees you enter the room. This is awkward.

>Say something
>Don't say any-

"Hi, Robin..."

Well, never mind. Abby decides to address you directly.

"Oh, hey Abby. Listen, I..."

"You don't have to say anything," Abby reassures you. "I... I've had time to think, and I... I just want to move past all of that. I want us to be friends, and I want you to be happy. Is... is that okay?"

You smile. "Of course."

"Awww, isn't this sweet?" Danny says with an oblivious smile. "Now, let's all find a seat. I don't want to miss any more of Starrcade!"

Starrcade... the biggest wrestling event of the year. You've worshipped this day, religiously, since you were a little kid, but today... it's different. You don't feel as... connected to the event as you always did. Sure, you've been pre-occupied with all of the drama between the locker room, your friends, your love life... but you don't think that's it. Something else is causing this detachment...

>Kevin Omega's not really retiring... is he?

Your trainer... your mentor... you haven't spoken to the man in months, not since you graduated from his dojo, but you find it hard coming to terms with the idea that this might be the end for the guy. You always dreamed of one day going toe-to-toe with the great Kevin Omega in the ring one day. A dream it seems that may never come true...

No, Omega isn't going to retire. It's all a swerve. A red herring. The man will stick at this shit until he's 70. Kevin Omega has a lot of negative qualities, as you learned working under him, but there's one thing that can't be faulted and that is his love for wrestling. It was his passion that fuelled your passion, and you refuse to believe that a love like that can burn out.

You return to watching the show. The next few matches are pretty damn good, but you don't focus on them all that much. Your mind is in one place, and one place only.

>HAILING FROM NEW YORK CITY, WEIGHING IN AT 215LBS... "THE WILDCARD" KEVIN OMEGAAAAA!

Omega pulls out his patented finger guns taunt to the delight of the capacity crowd, but something seems... off. Not in the taunt, not in his movement, but in the eyes of Kevin Omega. Those wild, fiery's eye that kept you glued to your television screen as a kid looked... cold, distant. Like he wasn't all there.

>AND INTRODUCING THE CHAMPION...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2kBqP06eDRY

Johnny Mercer comes out to a massive reaction from the crowd, but it's a large mix of positive and negative. The man's been the face of the company for years, and he's going up against one of the most acclaimed stars of all time, so you expected some backclash against the champion.

You are glued to the tv screen, for what follows is an undeniable classic. The two men beat the ever loving crap out of each other for the vast majority of the contest, exchanging blows, holds, suplexes, slams, you name it. Both men pull out absolutely every move in their arsenal in order to put the other away. Omega pulls out dives he hasn't attempted in ten years. Mercer busts Omega open half-way through the match, and Omega returns the favour shortly after. Omega pulls out every single signature move he's ever had in the past 20 years in an attempt to put Mercer away. Superkick! Mercer Kicks out. Frog Splash! Mercer kicks out. Crossface! Mercer escapes. ACE CRUSHER! Mercer kicks out. ANOTHER ACE CRUSHER! Mercer. Kicks. Out.

Omega, drained and exhausted, goes for his last resort. His ultimate finishing manoeuvre... The Omega Driver. He's only pulled it out a few times in his career, but no-one has ever kicked out from it. He picks up Mercer and... Mercer reverses! Mercer hits Omega with the Mercer Drop! 1... 2... OMEGA KICKS OUT! He kicks out, but it's clear to see the match is over at this point. Mercer's still got plenty of energy left, while Omega's struggles to rise onto one knee. He taunts at Mercer, begging him to bring more punishment, but you don't see a defiant badass. You see a sad old worn out dog begging to be put down. With little effort, Mercer picks Omega back up for another Mercer Drop. 1... 2... 3.

Kevin Omega's career is over.

"Well... shit." David summed things up perfectly.

"Yeah, that is kind of a huge downer..." Danny mumbled.

On the screen, Johnny Mercer celebrates with the title as confetti drops from the ceiling. Omega meanwhile, rolls out of the ring and leaves backstage with almost no fanfare.

"Is... is that it?" Kimberly is astonished. "His career can't end like that, can it?"

"Omega giving up? Now I've heard of everything," David muttered.

"God, I hope he's okay..." Kimberly's face was one of concern. "He wasn't the nicest guy to be around, or the most stable, but... something feels very wrong."

A silence broke out in the room, as Danny scratched the back of his head. "Uhh... thanks for coming out everyone... I hope you enjoyed it..."

Without saying much, everyone just left the room. Muttered a few goodbyes, then left the house. Omega's students stayed behind a little longer, none of them really ready to get up and move. David was the first to take the initiative. You rose next, and Kimberly followed.

You agree to give Kimberly a ride home, when your phone starts to vibrate in your back pocket. You tell Kimberly and David to get in the car and wait until you're finished with the phonecall. Hmm, and unkown number. Strange.

"Uhh... hello?"

"You still live in the city, right? Come meet me at the pier, 1pm sharp."

"Who is this?"

The voice on the other end is bloated, raspy and angry.

"How quickly they forget... It's Kevin, you fucking moron. The guy who taught you everything you know? We need to talk."

This can't be good.

Hooo boy. I am not quite sure where Kevin is going with this one. I am intrigued of course, but concerned. I hope he isn't going to do anything stupid.Like trying to take the four of us out of TWA. But I expect pain and suffering just the same as we did in this thread.

Good job Booker on being able to make sense of the madness this thread. It probably wasn't easy. It was a rough read for me at least, and I am a mostly neutral party on this. Although that does make it 2/2 on Abby's striking out with the PC

Regardless of your take on the decisions made, personally I'm not in favour. I have to admit it has made for good drama. And I can accept the reasoning that we are young dumb and make shitty decisions. (Serriously we need to up that INT stat somehow)I for one am not buying this being over for one moment. I think, that this COULD become okay. But not yet. If there is one thing for sure, I'm almost certain now that Abby has pittiful self-worth and a long history of mental/emotional abuse, and this incident is just one in a long line of incidents. She does need someone to be there for her. But I don't think we're that guy. Oddly enough, I think Danny may be a good match for her. Little hints suggest he isn't the playboy he claims to be.

But that's just me. I look forward to The TWA merger/buyout soon. I can't believe we main evented, got maybe concussed, and only got 200 for it.
>>
>>46042402
>Regardless of your take on the decisions made

I honestly didn't expect most people to vote in favour of being with Kimberly after that scene. More than anything, I expected "Think about it" to win in a landslide.

Not that I'm really opposed to the decision made, but it did mean the relationship drama aspect lasted almost the entire thread tonight, so I'll be purposefully stepping away from that, let it bubble under the surface for a while and move on to other things.

Again, I wasn't bothered by the choices made. I'm not a fan of railroading, and if I didn't want the players to make a certain decision, I wouldn't have offered it to them in the first place.
>>
>>46043021
Oh, I am with you Booker. I expected 'think about it' to win too, in fact I voted for it, but you can never predict anon.

I just hope that all our friends can find some sort of happiness. I personally like the relationship drama. I just thought that what was done was a pretty dumb thing that will hurt all parties. But again, I've gotten over it, as it will make for interesting dynamics as time goes by. I hope other anon's will get over it too. I think the handling of the decision post breakup was the best it could go though, given our stats, so there is hope for all parties yet.

You run a tight ship, and while I at times today felt livid and ready to quit, I am sticking around. I knew we were going to get to points where we aren't a good person, and if I left now, I'd be a hypocrite after mocking those that wanted to abandon certain characters after we found they have a dark side. So keep at it!

Serriously though, how are we going to up our INT? Have we just been failing to pick the option that gives it a bonus?
>>
>>46043308
Honestly, I'm pretty happy that the quest has seen a crack in Robin's morality. Makes an upcoming interaction that little bit more meaningful.
>>
>>46043394
I agree, it makes him a little more complicated. I hope other anon's agree. And one hopes he can learn from it to be a better person. As for the interaction, I mean, its probably Kevin, but I could also see Jenny, a right now unknown party, or hell, even Kassius. I am interested to be sure.

>>

>>
>>46045226
I don't care for shit-flinging at all. Having the players turn on each-other over small shit is not what I want out of a thread.

But having players react strongly to stuff that happens in the Quest? Whether angrily or happily, it shows that people are invested in the quest, even if it inevitably leads to arguing and in-fighting.

There's a common wrestling saying, "All heat is good heat." I think that applies here.

Why did ya run so early today? I work most of the day and missed the quest. That debacle at the beginning was weird as fuck though.

>>46045469
It's not actually too off from his time the last few threads, this one just ended considerably earlier, because of a natural stopping point.
>>
>>46045469
This is the time I usually start the thread, and people usually didn't start to pool in until a little later. That never really mattered in the previous threads though, seeing as they didn't start with an important choice like this one did. It was definitely a mistake on my part not to hold off on starting the thread until later in the day in this case.

I am bumping the starting time to an hour later from now on, though. Very few people are around for the first hour of each thread.

>>46045527
>It's not actually too off from his time the last few threads, this one just ended considerably earlier, because of a natural stopping point.

Yeah, I ended earlier today because I had a good place in the story to end on. Expect tomorrow's thread to be a pretty long one.
