So I'm back from my vacation, and couldn't find our new thread... shame. I DID find our 1d4chan pagehttps://1d4chan.org/wiki/Golden_SpectresWith several mistakes, no real info and a character we had not discussed yet... oh well, here is the last thread>>46013278lets pick up where we left off, also some one named the world and the chapter is clearly vietnamese now, which I am fine with... but research needs be done to see what traditions we can 40Kify from said country... WE BACK
>>46253608Last thread had SOME good stuff in it, plus the 1d4chan page was set upI tried man, I did
>>46253895I meant the page didn't have much, last thread was great! There just wasn't another onle like there was supposed to be... and its fine, thanks for tring
>>46253938Hey, a page is better than none. Plus it gives us definable goals. speaking of which, we should probably tackle some. Let's start with something easy like organization
>>46254034Indeed, organiztionWe will keep the 10 'Companies but I say we rename them cells, or some other secretive name. What did the viet cong call their soldiers/squads?
>>46254128Dunno, but cells works for me. I say we have 2 less scout companies. These guys don't recruit often and are endangered, I don't think they would have enough recruits alive to fully bolster the normal amount
>>46253608>clearly vietnamese nowSomeone didn't read the last thread~
>>46254266Well, all the names so far are asina/Vietnamese, planet and creatures included. I don't see why people were averse to it in the last thread
>>46254128>>46254212Stop being retarded post haste.>Lord Fisto, these slant eyed babbies say that they are are children.>I don't know Fistorian, they operate in cells, use infiltration and intelligence operations as their main doctrine, and half their chapter bugged out starting shooting eachother, further more they operate in cells. Plus, the more sods are gooks, so they are.>Hmm, yes quite...old boy I think we may have traitors in our midst...>*Dornishly looks at the Exterminatus button*
>>46254361Its not like they're fucking offing themselves left and right, hombre. You can fuck off when you need to
>>46254361Several thingsMain doctrinne is less infiltration, more aggressive defense, like the Viet cong, they dig and use complex defensive systems and are very good at anti-seige tactics. Also enjoy fighting at range like the fists'Cells' is literally just what they call the companiesI don't think the fists are the ones who get to puch the murder button, and not every chapter is dogmatically similar to their progenitor
>>46254337You don't? Well, to quote the last thread..."I'm going to tell why all this Indochina shit is retarded.Do you see any Indochinese influence in the fists or any of their successors? No, it's anglo as fuck, innit?Black Templars, White Templars, Crimson Fists (Spaniards are still Euro), even the Imperial Fists. All super anglo and shitbread, their defining trait being stupidly stubborn, siege breaking, and getting Iron Caged. Now WHY THE FUCK would the Alpha Legion, ruselords seconded only by Trayzn then Tzeentch himself, make a chapter so blantaly outside of the Fist cultural and doctrinal norm as an infiltrating force? They wouldn't.Doctrinal? Sure, it's like they went "Hey that Iron Cage business was a good trick, wunnit?" and have reverse engineered siege warfare to where they basically turn the battlefield into a castle covered in murder holes and booby traps. This is understandable.>>46198612 #>>46198579 #>>46199057 #>>46198851 #Is not. The Spectres would try and stay as close as possible to Imperial Fist norms as to not out themselves, even if they don't consciously know what they are. Their ultimate goal as a loyalist chapter would be to be accepted into the Fists, maybe even be allowed to get a chance at the Dornsblade. Having them as Vietcong is only going to get them isolated and on everyone's radar. We should have them be Special Forces meets Predator, not asian.">>46254432The fact that that's the ONLY thing you can attack shows that you know I'm right. Just as I was before. A sprinkling of Vietnam is kinda okay, but you guys are going full retard with the Alpha Legion shit. It's like Black Library levels of excellence up in hereThe REAL last thread incase anyone was curious >>46222555
>>46254506WELLSeeing as I was unable to access the site on my vacation... I really do apologise. Will read ACTUAL last thread now
>>46254457Those are not at all the conclusions we came to in the last thread. Why would a seven foot tall space marine dig Vietnam style tunnels? You know they could get away with that because they where small, right? And having them call their companies is a giant red flag. The Alpha Legion wouldn't put up a flag like that unless they wanted to, and I doubt they would fuck the Spectres over hard like that unless they where feeling down that day and Trained Them Wrong on Purpose for shits and giggles.
>>46254570Ahhh, that's right, you where out.Sorry for the aggression but it looked like you where obstructing the truth and forging your own narrative. Read the thread, please.
>>46254602RIGHTI apologise thread, and the chaoter in general thew Alpha Legion ar ebetter than that ogd damnit!Reading last thread now, please dicuss as if what I suggested here is not true, will tell you when I'm done
>>46254661Hey man, do what you want, a lot of conflicting opinions in last thread
OK LAST THREAD HAS BEEN READIn the end, last thread seemed to decide the follwoing. The planet/sector itself should be indo-chinese inspired, but the chapter are a depqrture from it, more like the predator meets special forces. Naming conventions remain vietnamese, but Latin-ifiedWe need to make them more fist like, as the Alpha Legion do not fuck around with their ruses and the whole point of the chapter is to be accepted by the FistsScouts are trained ruthelessly, not even considering the hypno-indoctrination done by chapter Chaplains>>46255149It is a community effort. I may have started this simply to fluff out the army I have made IRL but people seem to like it(except for the faggots who ALWAYS pop up in chapter creation threads to shit on them), so Iwill not rough ride it, this is something we all work on... also apparently the color scheme was still being... argued about
>>46255244>also apparently the color scheme was still being... argued aboutYeah, we need that and the emblem squared away pretty quick, I think
>>46255286Alright, lets settle these arguementsPersonally? Three headed ghost aquilla wins, objections?Color scheme? Fuck me, someone find some of the suggested ones or make a new oone, remember this is parade colors, normally they are camoed... also if someone could paint a terminator with their disruptive camo on Bolter and Chainswrd that would be AWESOME
>>46255352Huh... I really like that one personally, and I am fine with it being dull, so they may use it in campaigns where stealth be not needed but they never get to gaudyobjections?
>>46255393gross shade of brown and green. Ill give it one last shot for option's sake
>>46255363Ghostly hand>>46255393This would be their scheme 24/7. They camouflage the gold with battlefield dirt and gore, but the camo, which is meant to be tiger striped, changes dependant on the battle field >>46255451Literally the new army OCP
>>46255393Clearly you didn't read the thread or you would have saw that scheme
>>46255619Here, took me a minute tops
>>46255855I did read the thread, you are probably right I did probably see it, but I was more focused on the text and thae fact it was still being argued about>>46255883hmmm.... I like it, better than anything before certainly it has my vote. Thread?
>>46255883>calls the one scheme gross>Posts a grosser schemeYour colour theory Kung-fu is non existent and your taste needs work. Those colours are bland and sickly, and would work for a nurgalite warband, and the overall scheme is cluttered and chaotic, using far too many colors.Less is more, anon
>>46256157Wanna give it a try? You seem to know your stuff at least. But these colors REALLY need to get done, they hang on this thread like a dead animal
>>46256157>less is more>supports a tacky, overdone schemeRather than shooting down everything that isn't yours, why not let popular decision decide? Let's just see who wants what, despite there only being three of us
>>46256287Because I abhore idiocy and poor taste even more so. It's a matter of professionalism. And Anon, don't deign to call something tacky when you don't have a good grasp on the fundamentals yourself. Imagine painting that scheme. It would be a horrorshow.>>46256277That's what several useless degrees gets you, the knowledge and knowhow to belittle tasteless neckbeards. This was my attempt, after the "celestial lions" attempt. I don't have access to a computer now, but since it offends our resident professional artíst I would be willing to see that EXACT scheme with with SLIGHTLY lighter greens and browns. But knowing MichaelangeloAnon's taste in colour...eh.
>>46256642Holy shit, this reading this is awful.Let's move past this for progress' sake, and discuss something that'll go over better, maybe?
>>46256745Did I offend you, anon? Look at canon schemes and unfuck yourself after growing a thicker skin. I'm tired of this hug box mentality that's beginning to foster in these threads. The scheme was bad on a technical level. Get over it.
No we NEEED the rugular marine color scheme, If I didn't suck so bad at colors I'd try myselfThis is important, and While I dont need a hugbox here lets try to focus on improving to a better scheme rather than devolve into a dick measuring/shit throwing thread yes?Criticism, harsh or not, is good, makes things better. But counter insults start fights, and I'd rather get a color scheme up than fight about how shitty or not shitty old suggestions are
>>46256799>I guess notNo offence over here, you're just so totally and completely full of yourself that it hurt. I'm sorry my 1 minute scheme hurt you so bad, but Jesus, you need to fucking chill. This isn't mine or your project, its a group deal, which doesn't translate into us putting out suggestions and you saying they're all shit and trying to shut down discussion
>>46256923Then stop being a child and try what I said. Take the not shit one, and desaturate the Browns and greens.
>>46256863Go for it, guy. The more options, the better, as far as I'm concernedI agree, what's important is that we work together, not against eachother
Possible color scheme? I admit it's pretty difficult to reconcile the whole "golden" aspect of the Spectres with their Viet-Cong/ Imperial Fists tactics.
>>46258642It's nice and Simple, I can get behind it
>>46258642It is simple, which many cannon chappters areI like the very slight color variations, any objections to going with this scheme?
>>46259398I'm all good with it
>>46258642Let's just stick with it regardless
AlrightOP is back, was asleep... forgot to warn you guys... sorry!WE HAVE COLORS!!! >>46258642Is oour winner due to nice simplicity, and a generally nice lookNOWwe cinntinue, the Chapter badge being a ghostly 3 headed Aquilla is still out there, everyone like that? Also for further fluff duscussion, some people have been worried we don't have enough Imperial Fist Influence, how can we add some? Any ideas aside from them super venerating dorn? We do have special power fists, but culturally how can we make them seem like fists Succesors?
bump, atm I'm dry for inspiration on this particular part of the fluff... I'm sure I'm missing something obvious...
>>46264939>we cinntinue, the Chapter badge being a ghostly 3 headed Aquilla is still out there, everyone like that?I requested this shit in the drawthread
>>46266930Well thats good, hopefully a drawfag will oblige...
>>46264939>We do have special power fists, but culturally how can we make them seem like fists Succesors? We should probably look at other successors and see how they do it
>>46267776Good idea>Hammers of DornInsane codex supporters, even taunt the ultramarines about it, believing only the sons of dorn can be true codex succesors. Similar to our chapter, extreme veneration of Dorn, beleiving he was favoured son of the emps>Black Templarscrazy Fanatical knights Templar, worship the Emps like the Ecclesiarchy>Crimson Fists... Space mexicans who were nearly destroyed, less stubborn than other fists succesors after the destruction of their fortress monastery. The one thing I've seen from fluff stuff that ties them together are as follows from books and suchRituals and traditions involving the veneration of Dorn, often involving blood/bones/other parts supposedly 'from' DornStubborn to a fault, hate to retreat or leave a position, even taking massive casualties before even considering giving up(see:Invaders)Martial honour, like knights. Enjoy challenges of physical strength and skill, and have very strong ties of brotherhoodSiege masters of some kind, this is more the fists themselvesThats what I've got, anyone have stuff to add?
>>46267964The executioners are renoun for their brutality, adherence to the codex and the imperium, and veneration of the dead
>>46268228The subjugators are so merciless and highly destructive from their hatred of the Imperium's enemies that other forces often hesitate requesting their aid because of the devastation to both sides they cause. They venerate Dorn, but also share the Black Templar's zeal
>>46268337The Battle-Brothers of the Night Swords excel at rapid strikes and lightning raids, a trait which extends to every facet of their character. They are as quick to anger as they are to jest. They can be impatient, yet display great personal initiative. While not rash or foolhardy, the Night Swords believe in the value of immediate action over protracted planning, and chafe at the bit to engage the foeThe Night Swords believe their fallen heroes reside in the deepest deserts as elemental spirits. The chapter's Chaplains make regular pilgrimages into the dune seas, residing in simple caves for many days and nights until thirst and exposure cause them to undergo overpowering visions in which they receive the wisdom of their predecessors. These practices have put the Night Swords at odds with the Ecclesiarchy, who consider them esoteric beliefs which go against the Imperial Creed.
>>46268423The Fists Exemplars agreed with The Ultramarines that the marines should be split up, but thought that rogal dorn should be the example all marines should follow. They defend stuffDue to Chapter tradition, the Fists Exemplar required their members to leave their armour unpainted.
>>46268512The Fire Lords precede assaults with a barrage of incendiary missiles, and hurl themselves at the charred foe before the flames have burnt themselves out.The Fire Lords favoured tactic is launching a planetary assault, which begins with incendiary bombardments, and should the defender survive, they only do so to face close-range bombardment and promethium, usually delivered by Thunderfire Cannons and Land Raider Redeemers. Then, Tactical Squads will deploy in Drop Pods to bring death to the enemies of the Imperium.
>>46268544The Invaders excel in planetary subjugation, crushing resistance through massed aerial and orbital attack. Their tactics require reliance on Scout and Tactical squads to secure landing zones and staging areas, while squads of Vanguard Veterans and Terminators crush centres of resistance.
>>46268631>>46268544>>46268512>>46268423>>46268337>>46268228WELL, heres what I seeAdherence to the Codex Astartes for organization and, to an extent, tacticsBrutality, mercilessnes and Stubbornness, zealotsLike brutally smashing the enemies of the Imperium to a pulpNow, how do we want to implement some of this stuff? Ideas?
>>46258642Wow that's ugly.I would make them the same shade of green and eliminate the brown, but I guess there's no winning>VietcongWe're not doing that
Chapter symbol should be a ghostly hand
>>46269939What do you mean we are not doing that? We aren't ACTUALLY vietcong anon, we use a similar-ish doctrine of aggressive defense, using traps, tunnels, pill boxes and other quick fortifications to make opponents pay for every inch mixed with stealth and infiltrationColor scheme... if you want to re-do it with that green go ahead, no one is stopping you
>>46269237Never pull out ever. No matter how long it takes, you stay and defend by any meansThey work alone, and will not go out of their way to save allied forces if they get in the way
>>46269960Ghostly hand isn't bad, a lot of fists successors incorporate hand iconography into their emblem
>>46271279Hmmmm... Yea, I agree. Now that I think about it, a ghostly hand or fist would definitely help with their trying to be adopted by the fists. Shoul it be an open hand or a closed fist?
>>46271709I'd say this or a fist
>>46270499I also like this. They work alone, never leave a position if it can be fortified or improved, never give ground unless they die or have no other choice
>>46271746If think the only time when they use allies is as distractions, diversions, or bait, or maybe just to have some extra bodies to soak up bullets
>>46272714Yea that makes sense. So, they are getitng more fisty every second>>46271744I kinda like this... further opinions thread?
>>46274257We could just keep it a fist for simplicity's sake, but I like the hand
>>46275870Nah, I like the hand. It keeps a common motif of the Fists and their succesors but stands outOk, we need to move onLets talk... special characters?
>>46276737Who did we have for our hero?
>>46276807One of the founding members, probably our first chap mast, so an Alpha Leigonnaire posing as the Imperial Fists 3rd company captain. Ironically he killed a daemon prince"Just act natural ky'tyax, we gotta make this look good!"
>>46276975We already have a chapter master though. Maybe first chaplain or librarian?
>>46277091Well, he was the Captain of the Imperial fists third company(Posing as such at least) So no, not really. He could just be one of the earlier captains though
>>46277286I was just going off the wiki, but that works for me. What'd he do?
Alright, I'm able to update the wiki now. Where should I start?
>>46278182For one we need general info on the chapter before the special characters are discussed. I'm gonna start writefagging tonight for events to add.>>46277657He killed a Daemon prince. Rmember our current chap mast is in the current cannon timeline, our figure of legend is from our founding
>>46278702Ahhh, now I getcha. Okay, which daemon should they have killed?
>>46279388Well I proposed we make one, as I have heard there was a Daemon prince creation table somewhere and have seen a couple threads creating Daemon princes floating around but I can't find it... anyone know if there is one and if so where it can be found?
>>46279459I found all the threads where they rolled up a daemon, hopefully I can find the tables
>>46279599>>46279459Looking throw them, I don't think there is one. I think they just followed a formula with some rolls to make theirs
>>46279661Hmmmmm... Ok, can you link the htreads? Or you can start the making of our Daemon prince(Who likely still has a grudge on us)
>>46279809alright, I'll try and do my best by reposting everythingGive me an alignment:>Khorne>Tzeench>Nurgle>Slaanesh>Undivided>A Lesser Chaos God>Something Else.....(Write in)
>>46279935I say we make it one of the lesser Chaos gods... maybe Zuvassin? The chapter makes complex plans and defenses, Zuvassin hates plans? Therefore he also hates the Alpha Legion?
>>46280056malal would also work, given his relation with chaosNow for the weapon, 1 d10>Staff>Sword>Mace>Scythe>Hammer>Unarmed/Fist Weapons>Natural Weapons (Ex. Claws)>Custom>Write In
Rolled 10 (1d10)>>46280118rollan
>>46280256>write inGiven these guys' tactics, I say something like a flamer, maybe a flaming bow, or somethinghe can have more than one weapon, if you want to roll again or just come up with one
Well thread, unfortunatr;ly I have to sleepDo'nt let tbe thread dieOP is now sleep
>>46281787I'll try, but I have to sleep soon too
Rolled 8 (1d10)>>46280379rollan
>>46282659>custom or natural Maybe both? Bone sword kind like Tyranids have?
Hope this thread stays up
>>46282815I'll make sure of it till this gets completed. I hate leaving half finished projects
The ice World of Skaldi is a frozen deathworld, with no fucking atmosphere. In fact, anything short of a fucking power armored space marine is not going to survive in its Ultra-cold, frigid and lifeless landscape. Not to mention, the world experiences extreme snowstorms every decade or so that actually prevents spacecraft from landing en mass on the planet. The only landmark of note on Skaldi is the Golden Spectre's Underground GOLDEN Fortress Monastery known as Borea that is buried beneath the ultra-hard ice.Instead of burying their dead, the Golden Spectres strip them off their power armor and freeze them like ice statues in the Hall of Dawn, greeting any visitors to the chapter. For less-intact/unrecoverable space marine corpses, they are frozen and buried en mass in the Chapel Of Twilight
The previous initiation ritual could be pretty neatoInitiation Ritual:Aspiring space marine initiates are called to the Jungle Death World of Tet where they will face the calling of a space marine. For an entire month in the lethal jungles of Tet, they'll be hunted down by a dedicated battalion of space marines (Who will shoot and kill them on sight/auspex) , as well as the infinitely lethal wild-life. Any Aspirants who managed to save the month (Known as The Selection) will be accepted into the chapter. However, there is also a way to bypass the brutal initiation ritual, which is to slay a marine of the Golden Spectres (Predator vibe) of the hunting pack.
>>46284325>hunted by a company of space marines That sounds damn near impossible. Maybe a scout company, they MIGHT have a fighting chance, but just surviving on a death world for long enough seems like it would work as a recruitment method
>>46254128Cadres is what the VC used but that is a bit too Tau-y. Cells works.
>>46287248>>46284325I imagine when he says 'initiates' and 'aspirants' its at least post some training by the chapter, possibly even those soon to become fully fledged scouts. We have to remember that even though Space marines kidnap children that those on deathworlds and feral worlds arlready seem to be pretty god damn hardcore. I do agree that maybe masters of stealth fully fledged space marines is a bit much at least a full battalion of them, but risking the lives of scouts who already passed this trial would grind their recruitment to a haltScale it down to a squad of space marines. Still plenty of murder onn the aspirants, but the wildlife and their personal survival instincts become the focusAlso OP is back
>>46254632Do you not know the difference between 'were' and 'where'? Wow. Jesus, you keep doing it throughout all of your posts. It hurts my brain. Your fucking stupidity is painful.
>>46287337... not meaning to start a fught but is that your contribution? Correcting one of the posters on his grammar? Seeing as your an Anon I'm not sure how long you've been here or what you've contributed but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and say this was a sidenote of yours.BACK TO OUR DAEMON PRINCE>>46282799A natural custom weapon you say? hmmmmm... perhaps an arm ending in a massive flamer and the other ending in a sword fused to his hand?
>>46287397>perhaps an arm ending in a massive flamer and the other ending in a sword fused to his hand?In addition, I say an underset of arms that end in spikes, becauseAre we settled on Zuvassin aligned?
>>46287492I think so, that's what we decided. Next is background, right?
>>46287751I believe so, so our Daemon prince under the master of 'not as planned' who was he beforehand? How long has he been against us?
>>46287492I also like all the spikey arms
>>46287861Since the beginning, trying to unravel the Alpha's plans
I tried to make it as simple as I could, and I just looked up a forest color scheme to makeI'd like these guys to live up to their name in terms of gold, however
>>46289902It is certainly simpleI suppose them not having any gold seems... strange. Perhaps, since this is their un-camoed/parade colors a simple gold version of this or one of the other styles we have seen thus far? Camo could be added using stripes/patterns/ghillie suit like impliments?
>>46290027I think we should just pick something to stick withTwo color schemes could work, but we can't even agree on one so far
>>46290134No I agree, we should just pick one and stick with it but since we are the 'Golden Spectres' I feel we should have a largely gold colored armor. But, If I'm alone in this then we will just ignore me and pick this one>>46289902or whatever one everyone likes
>>46290685>largely gold colored armorI feel the same way
>>46290953I'll give it a shot
>>46292675Thanks anon, that'd be great>>46289503So he has ALWAYS hated the Alpha Legion, even before they created us... think he ties to fuck with us in that vain? Being all ominous and shit about our past and founding?
>>46293402He can't really give away the secret of the chapter, considering how the alpha legion works and the Imperium's eternal hatred and mistrust of chaos, so it'd probably mostly be in vain. Maybe he gathered a small warband at one point, which the newly created chapter outed, mostly destroying what loose ends of the secret there are
>>46293635Indeed, all but the troublesome Daemon himself. Who occasionally still pops up in chaos forces fighting against the SpectresWhats his name? What does he look like?
>>46293767Shit dog, I don't know much about Zuvassin to do this properly. Could name him after a letter in the Greek alphabet?
>>46294178Well we need two names remember? His Daemon name, and his true(original) name. The original name is easy, just his name when he was a mortalWe could name him after a greek alphabet... possibly Iota? But spelled, changed to Iyotak for less obviousness?
>>46294272That sounds fine to me. I don't know much about daemons however
>>46292675How's the paintjob coming anon? Also, I think we are far enough along that those who wish to may begin writefagging or proposing new special charactersAt the moment the focus is still on our Daemonic foe but feel free to add anything else
>>46296936I'm currently writting a paper, but when I'm done, I'll try doing some writeups
>>46297530God, hopefully. I don't know by the way things are going right now. What would you like to see first? I want to put things into digestible formats for wiki purposes
>>46298752hmmmmmmm... I'd say either reports on combat actions, Special characters or just general writefagging will help write now. Possibly flesh out a recruitment process?
>>46298973This is me
>>46301343Sorry man, I'm trying to do three fluff threads and real life, and it gets a little distracting
>>46301376I'll do it tomorrow, at least get a start, I promise
>>46301629Alright, I get it. It's fine, take your time. As for the rest of usLETS TALK ALLIES and enemies. We rolled that they were allies with a Navigator house, any ideas on why/how/who?
>>46301691They need to get from place to place somehow. I suspect they're rather unknown and neglected, could be the house request their services often and spred the knowledge about them to nearby systems. Plus, don't they crusade often? Someone needs to take them places.I'm taking off, please keep this alive for me, OP
>>46301691House Malaspina?Could be interesting how it ties in with the fluff
Catachans and Armageddon Ork hunters might be interesting 'allies' (and maybe sources of recruits...)
>>46302469They could maybe trade services for recruits with the Ork hunters. That could be neat. Don't know about catachans though, that's going a little too far
We could also pull a 'Spirited away' kind of fling. Could be awesome if we pull it off.'Deep in the death-jungles of Catachans, there lies a legend unlike any other. Children vanished without a single trace from entire settlements, 'spirited away'. It was always assumed that they were taken/killed by vicious flora/fauna/spores of Catachan. This happens approximately once in a century. But yet a precious few Adult Catachans recall during their voyages off-world, spotting unmarked vessels, while looking awfully like Astates ships, except without a single imperial bearing.
>>46302469>>46302424House malaspina sounds interesting... feel free to expand! The ork hunters would be interesting, both for recruits and Chapter operatives(discussed a few threads back)Now, I also must sleep, but a question before I do for some titilating ally/enemy conversation: what do specific Fists succesors think of us? The Crimson Fists? Hammers of Dorn? Black Templars? Others?Do any believ us and support our claim as succesors? If so who? Do any openly and without restraint opose us? Who?>>46302633Thats... not an awful idea. It may mess with a cannon thing but I personally like it. Further opinions?OK OP is now sleep, keep the thread alive and discuss ^above
>>46302633I think we should refrain from using catachans, it's too big of a name with too much canon on it. Other than that, with some proper fleshing out I think it's a solid idea
Hammers of Dorn and the Black Templars would view the Golden Spectres with suspicion. While the Imperial Fists, Fire Lords and Crimson Fists would be more open and accepting (Think Fraternity).Yeah but we could hint at it for the Catachans (Not drop it entirely)
>>46302424All I know about malaspina is that First founding marines hate them and they were possible heretics. What's the big "scoop" with these guys?
>>46302795Could be a one-liner, a tiny blemish on the Golden Spectres' reputation. A Hint at their past (Ancient pacts, that sort of thing). It could evolve in any direction... just like Chaos!
