That tell-tale hot, dry, nostalgic autumn air has started to blow into the open air levels of your peoples domain and they oddly feel as though the twilight of their time has begun to creep up on them in this their 3rd year Fall.

Previously: The Technician furthered their magical education, The Troll skeleton was scavenged for parts, Lilith has expanded and grown herself to the surrounding levels both above and below, The Dolls had a mild epiphany and a fight was picked with the local lich.

Collect Genetics. Expand the Psych. Establish your Independence. Create Beauty. Suffice the Ego.

Isaiah has given your community something called a "radio". It is a strange wooden box with a dial on the front that turns numbers on a face- the back is full of little metal wires that faintly touch several different crystals. Isaiah brought it with him from the Rotwood, but it needs the 'open air' to work which his level lacks. Your people frankly love it. For about 2 hours in the morning and the evening they turn on the device to hear it speak of fictional plays, 'sports', weather & farm reports, News, Magical public panel discussions, music and news broadcasts.

+Plot Development+ Floor 4
The Undead have begun to relent (with the exceptions being the odd pair of ghouls leaping out from the darkness to pick a fight) and this has allowed your soldiers and scouts to explore up to "Floor 4".
Floor 4 is..Floor 4 is to be ignored. No one wishes to leave the staircase when entering into Floor 4.
Floor 4 is not a place to idle. Your soldiers have had the laborers seal off floor 4's entrance and the few who've witnessed the level have made a pact to not divulge it's horrors to the others.
No one is allowed to visit Floor 4.

You guys may go ahead and start rolling:

>Find crystals similar to what's in the radio and analyze them.

>High End Success

To make an obvious story short one of the biggest problems your community has faced in terms of expansion is the overwhelming reality that your Tower is just that; a Tower, with minimal raw resources and no sediment or geological deposits to speak of- Even mundane metals are hard to come by and precious gems have never been seen before.

The Technician as you can imagine was quite fascinated with the Crystals when Isaiah put the radio together for your people's use. They asked, "Is this some kind of magic or enchantment? Are The Crystals some form of Mana?" Isaiah had to think for a moment as he was not exactly a tinkerer or clock maker, "No, no, I don't believe so. I think you can make crystals using alchemy, but these were dug up from the earth. The whole device employs no magical means or sources. Don't quote me on this, but from what I've been lead to believe one crystal converts waves in the air into sound and the two others read, refine and replicate the sound- or so I've read."

Although they don't entirely understand; The Technician is now interested in the idea of attempting to alchemy Mana in it's different forms if possible: You've been using Liquid Mana for most of your needs, but they wonder if Crystallized Mana would have any alternative purposes.

>+Alchemical Development: Crystallized Mana Formation Development.
>They're not entirely sure if this will lead or develop into anything, but the Technician has begun spending a few hours everyday trying to convert or transmute liquid mana into a solid form -that isn't obviously flesh- It's a bit of an uphill battle, but they've been experimenting via exposing it to different environmental stimulai and they hope to come up with something soon.
>>
Rolled 11 (1d100)

The the interest of moving the CIV on, I suggest we begin drawing up plans for a rapid expansion/invasion of the upper levels, to force our way though quickly so any forces above have no time to respond.

We can take advantage of of Fey as scouts, our knowledge of bismuth for anti magic and these mana crystals for communication between groups, get set up so all we have to do is launch the attack itself

>Above Average Success

You would think the Technician would be interested in the matters of the mind, dreams, psychology and the study thereof, but they seem to ignore it in favor of studying the natural world. No, your psychonaughtic studies don't arise from The Technician but The Dolls- The Den Mothers of your community; they've been out of the spotlight for a while, but that is about to change.

Especially invested in the happiness and mental health of your community; they begin looking into the concept and practice of 'sleep'. There are two people who actually sleep within your community: The Technician and The Pilgrim. No one else sleeps- no one else 'needs' to sleep or has the desire to- when your people get tired they simply slip into their vat and have themselves refreshed and reinvigorated after about 3 or 6 hours depending on levels of activity.

Lilac though has slept before- Napped if anything.
Lilac the soldier model and companion of the Pilgrim.

She's asked about it, "I thought it was lonely and disturbing to just sit around while my brother just laid there unconscious for 8 hours, so I tried to do the same. It was Odd."

>+Spiritual Development+ Radiance of The Dream
>This is something that has eluded the majority of your people if only out of a design feature, but even if your people don't effectively need sleep there is psychological and supernatural significance in the dreams it brings them: it stimulates something inside of beings that can't be entirely explained- it is an intimidating thing for your people to witness as it is an entirely new experience, but sleeping and dreaming -even if they don't remember anything- has begun to develop your people's individuality on a much more subtle level.
>It improves your people in a flawed and imperfect sort of way.

The Technician disappears one afternoon without telling anyone.
They are completely gone and a flagrant and very real, desperate, horrible panic immerses the community.

Two entire weeks pass until The Technician is brought back in the arms of their familiar: "I had been looking just as frantically as you lot 'ad.. and one day the littl' master e' just squirmed out from the image of me shadow and I scooped the little guy as quick as I could."

The Technician doesn't seem to want to talk anymore; it wasn't like they very chatty to begin with, but they're practically mute at this point.
The Technician also seems to have temporarily lost their ability to see colour and has terrible light sensitivity, but that seems to be healing over time.

A.. A terrible, horrible, unsettling aura of foreign and unnatural power however has begun to radiate from The little Techie. Such a power that even their familiar feels suffocated by the presence of their diminutive master at times.

>Use all available resources and personel to find out exactly what happened or what is wrong with The Technician.
>Highest Roll taken: 19/20
>"Near" Perfect Success.

The Technician is frightening.
There is nothing physically 'scary' about the Technician- if anything they've grown to long for physical attention and affection now more than ever before, but their presence is unsettling to those around them. No one can quite explain it.

The Dolls attempt to comfort and cuddle out the exact dilemma of what could have changed The Technician, but they refuse to speak- and although the nuzzling and sandwiching of their sibling between their massive breasts has never been so welcomed.. It eventually reaches a point where The presence of the Techie feels like a black sinkhole- devouring all light and warmth and replacing it with unease.

Your people bring in Isaiah the Priest and his wife Elizabeth to see if they can provide any assistance.
You tell them the Technician went onto the 4th floor and that doesn't seem to mean anything to them, "The 4th floor? What- oh, okay, you're counting from your own floor, so that's.. The Urban Level? But there's nothing up there but an abandoned domestic floor, why would that do anything-"
Isaiah squelches himself when The Technician scoots into the room.
He can feel it as well- It causes his empty veins to tighten up- a foreign experience he hasn't felt since being alive; a very real anxiety.
"What fresh new Hell have you gotten yourself into boy?"

>No one is quite sure what exactly is wrong with The Technician- or if anything is actually wrong with the little guy
>They have however found out they have become horrifically and immensely magically powerful; although in such a way that is foreign and beyond Isaiah's awareness.
>Isaiah admits this could be used to your advantage.

>Fulfill your end of the bargain: Refurbish and Refresh Elizabeth's form
>Roll 72/100
>The Techie's Shade rolls support: 90
>The Imp Rolls: 77
>Fantastic rolls all around.

While Isaiah and Elizabeth are visiting the priest brings up the topic of their "bargain" and his concern if your people will be able to fulfill your end of the bargain what with the condition your resident flesh-shaper is in.
His answer however quickly arrives with The Technician hovering around Elizabeth and muttering the short, quiet, response, "Yes, I can do it. Give me a moment." They then extend their hand and Elizabeth takes it- looking over to her husband before he nods, hands the Technician the ritual papers and the two of them go down to the laboratory- The Imp following behind.

Light and Darkness seem to momentarily switch places, the whole area seems to slow down or perhaps everyone just becomes consciously aware- enough that it feels as though they can see their voices move the air around them.
Shadows begin moving around in circles like the hands on a clock before they finally point towards one location and-
Elizabeth is escorted, holding the Tech's hand as they hand her back to her Husband.

She's still completely wrapped in head to toe in bandages- such is the nature of her undead make and model, that cannot be changed or to do so would be to effectively kill the person known as Elizabeth, but.. Even though she's shrouded, she's never been so beautiful.
Her curves are generous and natural, in comparative memory she was almost emaciated, but her maternal breasts have filled out quite nicely- there's an energy and perky'ness to her now that seems almost inappropriate for an undead.
>You get a horse, raspy, whisper out of her, "Thank you".
>>
>>46274977
wait...Techies shade....oh god what bargin did he strike...oh god did they rape him! demons man wtf rite?

I say we get Elizabeth and Isaiah out as soon as possible. We may have FUBAR-ed the Techie and the Community, and at least I don't want them to be caught in the crossfire.

>Continue the development of the art doll.
>Roll 85/100
>Techie's Shade Rolls 84/100
>Twin Rolls- Excellent results.

Although the Dolls caste is horribly intimidated by what the Technician has become they see this as an excellent opportunity to perhaps finally produce their messiah of beauty, their matriarch of aesthetic, the elite model they had planned and been wanting for so long.

The little horror politely responds, "I'll see what I can do."

The Entire process takes three days- Liliths screams can be heard throughout the Arcanum and no one is quite sure where the pleasure or pain begins and ends.

>+Bonus EndGame Goal Achieved, MODEL ARTIFACT: The 'Matron'
>She is.. She's.. To say she's perfect would be missing the point. She is Idealized. Her horrendous beauty is unrelenting, her insight and mind is unquestionable- She has an air of dignity, authority and otherwordly grace and sophistication your people thought was impossible both in the natural and synthetic alchemical world.
>She is a twisted wish that has come true: A Swan Song of a Model that your community has no desire to replicate.
>She is everything beautiful the Doll's had ever dream and more so than they could ever hope to conceive.

>The Matron is a one-of-a-kind Homonculi model: Although she is just like everyone else in the community it is safe to say you most likely will not be able to make another one- or perhaps it might be more appropriate to say you would not 'need' to make another one. Physically speaking she is about as large as your Amazon units, but she is.. She's gorgeous, she's horrible, embarassingly, overwhelmingly beautiful in ways words fail.
>The only ones not entranced by her form are Lilith, The Technician, The Imp, The Pilgrim- The Undead couple are 'resistant', but even they are a little awkward around her.
>She is effectively a living mural and work of flawless, artisan skill and aesthetic.
>>
>>46275587
ok but what's her personality like?
>>
>>46275624
>ok but what's her personality like?

>Anon asking the important questions.

The Matron despite the appearance and what most of the Homonculi with genitals would have one believe She is... not in fact perfect: She has a huge blatant and uncomfortable flaw that may or may not become a problem later on in your societies development.
Although she is physically flawless she has very little of any personality to speak of.
She can blend in and give others exactly what they want, but when it comes to herself she is grossly undeveloped. She lives for other people and this is her flaw- The rough crack in an otherwise flawless porcelain doll that might shatter it with time.

The Matron spends a lot of her time alone.
The others are intimidated by her, some even fear her, but many unanimously think she is the pinnacle of their 'species' that she is a Titan among Homonculi; their ideals and aesthetic perfected into a physical form.

Elizabeth comes in one night to spend time with the other ladies of the community: having come to enjoy listening to the radio with them, having little night picnics ontop of the garden roof, playing with the 'children' and in just keeping up appearences- Elizabeth is after all quite the social butterfly; especially now that she's got this hot, curvy, body she's got to show off to the rest of the girls.

She stops though when she sees The Matron sitting quietly by lonesome in the corner of the harem room.
She feels this is wrong and politely sits down in front of her. Taking out a few things she brought with her and settling herself in to keep the Matron company.
One of the items she's brought with her is an string instrument: a spoon-shaped sort of instrument carved hollow out of a piece of dark, polished, wood with small mettallic coiled strings that are adjusted by knobs.
You'd know it as a Mandolin or a Guitar.

Elizabeth plays The Matron a small, somber, foreign song from her faraway home of The Rotwood.
She then gives The Matron the Guitar- it looks so small in her hands- and instructs her to play.

>She's fucking awful at it, but The Matron has at least one hobby.

The Pilgrim, "Princess" and Lilith are all very interested in cutting the middle lich out: conquering the tower, moving on and advances the lives of their people, but in order to do so they need to deal with Baba Koschei.

They figure the best thing to do is to simply get straight to the point and ask what Isaiah knows about his master and with that in mind The Pilgrim, "Princess" and a few accompanying Military Homonculi make the climb up to his neck of the woods.

Entering the darkened level they look around and see Isaiah out on the lake of blood in his little fishing boat, your party calls him over to talk and he waves them down.. Before falling limp into the boat with an audible dense 'thump'.

Turning around your Homonculi look about and they make out the figure of someone quietly lounging underneath one of the crimson trees in the fields of red- Someone with the lower body of a horse and the upper body of a pale woman.
She raises her hand.
>"Kneel, please."

The word echoes across the minds of your people and everyone but The Pilgrim fall down to their knees with their heads laid low.

>"Hmn, interesting."

The Pilgrim's breath becomes visible and he's overwhelmed by such a sharp, painful, cold- His hands hover down to his sword, but his muscles ache and stiffen.

When she doesn't get an immediate response she becomes a little more invested- Raising her hand.

>"Unorthodox."
>"Fall."

The Pilgrim feels his 'core' stop pumping mana through his body: he gets colder and colder, he drops down to his knees, gasping and coughing.. Before his core begins palpating and starts back up again. Slowly rising back to his feet and drawing his sword.

>The Pilgrim is not 100% exactly what he should do right now. He hasn't entirely been kept up to date on the latest Baba Kosche news and trivia, but he does know this: Isaiah is unconscious and his sisters seem to be.. bound kneeling on the ground by some magic?

>"This is a waste of my time."
She sweeps her hands across her face and makes direct eye contact with the Pilgrim.
>"Ignis Solus: My Memory of Fire."

You are now commanding The Amazon unit "Princess". She has slowly begun to rise to her feet as the feeling in her body returns, but her muscles are horribly stiff and ache painfully.
She sees her brother The Pilgrim laying flat on his back with an unblinking mile-wide gaze as his pupils dilate radically while gazing off into nothing. There is a suspicious Woman with the lower half of.. a.. Deer?
Princess doesn't know what a horse is.

The little woman acknowledges the Amazon Units presence, but does not immediately feel threatened by the Homonculi.
Princess still confused and only half luccid asks her who she is:

Princess rises, towering, she'd cast a shadow onto the lich if there was enough light for it to create shade on the level. "What exactly do you want with me and my siblings woman?"

Baba Koschei gently pets the Pilgrims head while he lay their seizing slightly, she grooms him a little- flicking a speck of debris from his brightly coloured locks.

>"Nothing from most of you. You're simply in the way."
She snaps her fingers and a dull, blue, cold ember spits out from the point of her finger- she blows on it gently and the tiny wisp hovers comically over to Princess' Bone Mallet.
>"Reanimate."
The Mallet begins shivering, twitching, mimicking hollowed, confused, undead life as it tries to wriggle out of Princess' hands.
>"Designation Homonculi #13 however I've grown interested in- especially so by it's present handy work."

Princess gribs the flesh-covered handle of the mallet, twists her torso, spins and flexes the horrifyingly powerful, muscles in her body taunt and violently throws her temporarily animated mallet at the Lich
>"Geomancy: Deny Innertia."
She raises her hand and the Mallet lands flat- having lost all of it's momentum and speed.
>"Did you think you could brute force me like some common hedge Mage?"

Princess uses this as an opportunity to toss the Idol at Baba Koschei.
It smacks her on the forehead, lands on The Pilgrims face and rolls out of it's bag- The Idol looks directly at Baba Koschei and she recoils back temporarily blinded.

>The other Homonculi are freed.

Alrighty, lets do this: https://youtu.be/0LB-Ry3qqhM?t=39

Baba Koschei clutches her eyes with her small frail hands; if anything out of some distant muscle memory as her undead body feels no pain. Annoyed more than anything she tries to return the 'affection', but your Salamanders begin dousing her in flame which she seems to be keen on shielding herself from- raising her robe's arm as it shields and swallows up the fire smokelessly.

Princess commands one of the soldiers to make a beeline for Isaiah out on the Blood waters while she runs over to her brother the Pilgrim; dazed and confused, muttering while still lost in someone elses traumatic memory and unsure of what's real or not, she quickly snatches him up in her arms. The Salamanders all the while setting aflame the surrounding grove by Baba Koschei.

She grows further annoyed though; rearing up on her hind hooves, brandishing horse shoes on her hooves of cold blue fire before galloping into the air- Only for the Soldier units to start pelting her with needle-like pointed spines. Following her closely and peppering her constantly.

>"Enough, enough, ENOUGH. STOP."
Baba Koschei sweeps her arms out.
>"LEERE."

Everything stops.

You are now The Technician.
Up until a few moments ago you were having dinner in the hall with your Familiar.
Now you.. You seem to be in some sort of country home in a small kitchen?

The Techie sits at a wooden table- they seem to have half finished a breakfast of scrambled eggs, beans in tomato sauce, corn bread and a glass of milk.
Emily Koschei is quietly sitting just adjacent to them and seems to be finished with their breakfast and is looking out the window.

>The kitchen window is open and a summer breeze smelling faintly of dry grass and garden tomato leaves wafts in.
>The Techie feels extremely comfortable, but knows this is wrong.

>Where is my family?
>>
>>46279624

The Technician finishes eating; because why not.
They slowly observe their surroundings- the shelves, the larder, the ice box and cupboards, the black worn out brick and metal oven and a sink filled via a small pump lever accompanied by a tall, tan-lined, red haired woman.

"Where am I?" Is the first immediate question.
Emily Koschei responds in kind, "You're.. At home? Eating breakfast? With me? Your Sister?" She just sort of slowly shrugs her shoulders before slinking her head side to side and giving The Techie a bit of a look.
The Woman at the sink turns around; collecting the dishes at the table, idly giving both of them a kiss and telling doting on Emily, "Don't tease your brother Thaddeus, you know how Magic gets to people's heads- he's got a long day ahead of him. Don't you?" She leans in and gently holds The Techies head, "You've got to wake up though."

Techie looks up at her and swears he's seen her before; everyone here seems so familiar, but.. It's off, everything is off.
They attempt to cast a spell, just a simple cantrip, just a quick beam of light.. And they can, but it seems.. It doesn't have the same feeling coming? Emily interrupts the Techie either way, "Come on now- I didn't mean to bug, there's no need to show off." The redheaded woman chimes in, "That's right sweety, save it for later- you've got that group lake clean up project later today and you'll need your strength."

The Techie very slowly gets up and begins to wander through the country house; half in a slight daze, but mostly just to have a look around.
They eventually find themselves sitting on the step of their house and looking outward- Dirt roads, corn fields, the sun warm on their face as they see what looks like a town peeking out from down the road.

"It feels off, doesn't it?"
Emily sits down beside The Techie- her hooves trotting out of the wood flooring. "Sorry Lilith thinks we're her kids. That was probably weird for you."
>>
>>46280575

"What is this place really? Also why 'Thaddeus' "
Emily shrugs, "I dunno, maybe Lilith always wanted to call you that- She's.. She's down the rabbit hole pretty deep. I mean, you immediately knew something was off- that was very impressive."

The Technician just sort of leers over at Emily mildly annoyed and unimpressed, "Look, look, I'm not doing this- this is the Illusionary world she's placed me in when she made the Phylactery and herself immortal. I don't, uh.. " She slowly shrugs, "I was only ever able to get briefly 'out' when you were asleep and even then that was just me trotting over into your dream.. I'm not sure what's going on."

She slowly brushes the hair out of her face, "It's uhm, nice to see you again though."
The Technician hadn't realized up until this point, but he had rusty hued auburn hair and the same sort of farmer-tan complexion Lilith had, "What am I supposed to be exactly?"
Emily snaps back into attention, "Oh, I guess to fit into the 'canon' of the dream you and Lilith are Humans?"

>This is all rather weird and uncomfortable for very discreet and personal reasons.
>The Technician feels like there's something bothering them at the back of their mind and Lilith being their "Mom" annoys them more then they feel is appropriate to admit.
>It's also annoying how fine Emily is with this.

The Technician leans back on the frame of the door, "Is anyone else in here or..?" Emily shakes her head, "No, no, it's just you, me and lilith- I would have noticed if someone else was here." She seems to briefly discreetly turn her attention to inside of the house before leaning back against the Tech's shoulder.

"I've been in here for a long time- Long enough at least to develop a mild case of multiple personality disorder: Baba Koschei I'm going to say would be the "Post-Lich" me and I'm probably The "Pre-Lich" me." The Technician asks about the passage of time, what about the outside world, etc- The important stuff.

She sits up, "You should know better than to ask a lady her age, but if it's just between you and me I think I've been in this dream for.." She rolls her hand a bit, "I'm going to say maybe 230 years. I know I've been in here at LEAST 120, but, I mean, after a certain point I kind of stopped counting.."

She seems conflicted; a little too chipper and a little distracted, The Technician speaks up, but Emily quickly interrupts, "Look, sorry, I'm just excited. This is exciting- It's exciting being trapped in here with someone else and I'm not going to lie and say that I don't like you more when you're dressed up like a Human. This is exciting for me. I'm sorry."

>Emily doesn't seem like she's going to be much help.

Techie is at a bit of a loss on how exactly to escape the dream world.
They feel as though it's probably important to try and make an attempt to snap Lilith out of it.
There could also be some sort of discrepancy within the illusionary world now that there's multiple persons inside of it- conflicting memories and so forth.

>Break the Canon: Kiss Lilith Accepted.

"Okay, I've got it- Hold on."
Techie gets up, adjusting and sprucing up their clothing- they don't, they haven't actually worn much clothing and the little tunic, belt and booties and long socks ensamble hasbeen honestly bothering them a little. Even the Friction from their genitals on their undergarments is starting to ride them a little.

"Is.. Is that what you needed to do?" Emily smirks, Tech shakes their head, "Oh? What? No, no- I'm gonna go kiss Lilith. On the Mouth. With tongue- that should break the Canon, right? Humans don't kiss their moms on the mouth? Do they? I'm not familiar with your species."
The Technician than storms off to go and end the dream; Finding "Mother Lilith" still in the kitchen, leaning over as she slides her shoes on to step outside to work, "Lilith!" The Technician raises his arms and Lilith face seems to brighten up.
"Oooh- Do you want a hug Thaddeus? Aw, come here- you" And they just plant one on her. One hand on her cheek, the other cupping her breast, tongue playing cat and mouse, just full on indecent, spit-swapping, audible kissing.

Lilith grabs The Tech's shoulders and prys them off of herself; visibly flushed bright red, "THADDEUS, Tha- Oh, oh, what is this? Where am I? What am I in?" Lilith begins looking around; noticing she has legs and the trappings of a humanoid, "Oh, woof, yuck, look at how Fat I am.. Yeesh- this complexion, what the hell am I doin- Oh, helloo....." She lifts up The Tech and begins sniffing them, leaning over, biting them on the neck gently and wafting in the scent of their hair, "..Tech-Technician? 13? What um.. I mean, you're pretty cute, but, uh.. What are we doing? Is this some sort of fetish? I mean, by all means but.."

Techie shakes his head and elaborates, Lilith holds them close while having a look around, "Why Thaddeus though? I wouldn't have named you Thaddeus. That name is HIDEOUS."
>>
>>46282185
>Hey, don't ask me, this is YOUR dream.
>>
>>46282185

Emily comes back into the house to find Lilith carrying around The Technician and frantically peeking around, "Oh, I'm glad that worked." She wasn't- Lilith is much more filled out than her and was hoping Lilith would have been off the table in the event this dream went full on eternal crystal mirror nightmare and they were trapped.

"So, what's the plan now exactly?" Emily asks The Tech as he's pinned underneath Lilith's armpit, "Well." The Techie responds, "Lilith is progressively becoming more and more uncomfortable over the slightest thing and is now trying to find a way out." Lilith adjusts how she holds The Technician and carries them underneath their other arm as they tear the house apart.

"Oh and Lilith doesn't want me to be called Thaddeus- we're not quite sure where that came from." Emily slowly nods, taking some time to acknowledge the new development.

Over the course of what seems like a hours the three of them try multiple things to try and break the canon of the dream and escape it: Most of Lilith's suggestions are horribly crass, degenerate with most of them involving some sort of sexual content and at least one involving the death of Emily. Emily is about as helpful as Lilith, but for very different reasons.

The Technician finally yells at everyone to come outside.
They're out there writing the name "Thaddeus" on the front door of the country house in charcoal, Emily perks up, "So what is this going to do?" "I don't know, I just thought I'd try it"- The Techie finishes up, closes the door and then opens it. Nothing.
"Thaddeus has two D's dear." The Technician nods, "Thank you, Lilith."

They fix their spelling, close the door and then open it again.
The entire house turns and spins as if it's hoisted in gears before it sinks into the ground and drains with it all the colour and light before the dream turns into a void of darkness and dull, star-light light.

There is a tall hooded figure sitting at a table in the distance.

>>
>>46282561

The figure's dress seems to flow into the darkness that makes up the dream; the source of lit dimly glowing from what little of the figure ahead is exposed.

She speaks up, "I'm sorry that I had to be so vague. I only had just a moment to come up with something and under that sort of pressure the best I could come up with was "Thaddeus". Silly, I know- but I've got a lot on my plate as is. Please, sit."

None of them move, but immediately the table comes to them- the whole world moving around them before they're seated. There's even a spot for Emily's equine behind.

"So, hello children. I'm sure you've got a lot of questions, but I'm afraid I'm a very busy woman. Now, if you wouldn't mind- Oh for heaven's sake."
The Techie can hear a familiar voice.
"EY, WOSSAT OVA' THEA'? OY? OY- MASTAH- OOY! EY!! WOT YOU DOIN' OVA 'ERE?" The figure raises her hand and pinches the middle of her brow, "Warlocks and Demons, every time."
It's the Imp.
Come running from the darkness- bruised and a little rough around the edges, but his wounds seem to heal in real time before you, "Wot n' the fuck a'you two doin' up here? You aint dead you silly cunts." The figure looks at the Imp and he winks at them, "Yeah, ey Mum, how ya doin' ya eternal ol' bag? Oy, did you fucks know this is death?"

The Imp gives The Techie a quick, inappropriate, open mouth kiss- as loud as he can- "A-ahaha, gotta get meself topped up, don't I? Now what tha fuck a you guys doin' around here? Waiting for 'respawn' as the ol' orthadox put it? O-oh-ooohhhh, I get it. This dame ova' ea' s the fuckin', Koschei horse, idn't she?"

Lilith and The Technician slowly start piecing things together before The Technician speaks up, "Wait, so- Are we dead?" "Ea now, no need to be fuckin' cryptic, Mum - Just zap these two fine chums to their lovin' an' charmin' families and we'll be all kosher, roight? Beauty- Thanks Mum." The Imp is interrupted by a large, black-furred, clawed hand bursting out from the void and extending it's open hand for him to climb up onto, "Well, there's me lift- I'll see you in the fleshy world my precious littl' masta! And 'opfully we'll hav' ourselves a glorious n' graphic fuckin' reunion!"

The Imp is pulled away into a blaze of flame, flesh and soot.

Death doesn't seem too impressed, she shrugs and.. drops a lot of the formality.
"Well, he's right- you're not actually dead and I'm only here for Emily." Emily just sort of violently jolts her head, "E-excuse me?" She turns back and forth to try and garner some sympathy.
The Technician seems concerned.
Lilith just sort of shrugs her shoulders.

>Death has a few minutes though and entails her motives, realistically none of this really concerns your people- you were just a convenient work around, but she feels guilty for dragging you through this.
>Effectively: Death is going to reap Emily through her dream. Her 'body' or whatever she's being using will most likely keel over a soulless vegetable.

>This is all very sudden and confusing- especially for Emily.
>If you can piece together some context you might be able to pull something off, but consider this your 'last' action for the session either way.

The Technician has the forethought though to ask about their "shade".

>>46283129
ah crap, I don't know

Emily Koschei is trying to resurrect the human and centaur race who if "Burn together" is anything to go by were extinguished in some sort of apocalyptic fire storm possibly of their own making?

Baba has been attempting to use the tower as a means to resurrect the human and possibly centaur race and that's why death has a problem with her, she seems ok with necromancy in general but is going specifically after baba because she's trying to necro entire species

Ask that Death stay her hand long enough for us to work out a workaround that helps Baba Koschei pass with her dreams fufilied in spirit if not to the letter

This could be the haemonculi using DNA to attempt to rebuild a human and to give birth to a new species, or that we take human culture morse and memories

Now that death basically has her by the bals so to speak, can't she put this off for a little? Just watch over Koschei while we work together

Basically, we ask that Bab Koschei be allowed to pass in peace. She still has unfinished business on this mortal coil
>>
>>46283129
>Emily is pre-lich Baba
>Death is taking her because she doesn't really exist anymore, she's a being from the past

Ok...Techie went to L4 and god a Shade im almost tempted to say he is possessed or something, its living in his shadow almost.... The Undead couple said there was only ruins up there as i recall.

Emily is actually quite made having split up into numerous "personalities" in her.

Maybe we could try to ask death to let her stay, sooner or later her soul will pass on why not let her stay with us a while longer. Death always wins but could you please let her stay for a little while longer, to Death time is meaningless after all.

We know this whole tower is what is storing her soul...if she goes will our mana stop.... oh fuck.

Cyclops you rushed this without giving us any information. None of us have any real idea of what's going on or why we should be invested in it

Let us gather the facts;
>Centaurs and humans are the most numrous race
>Humans dwindle or extinct now
>Baba Koschei is a lich of extreme power
>Gathers help from around the world to make her giant tower, which is her phylactery
>She also gathers all the human remains she can get
>She creates the phylosopher stone (Lilith) to make flesh
>she asks a warlock-priest to help him with simething
>preferably with some form of magic she is uncapable of?
>gets slowly obsessed with number 32 and then dies
>Technician wakes, establishes community
>Death asks us to retrieve her "lost child" from the top of the tower. Baba Koschei is disgruntled by this

Emily wants to bring back the human race, and also lived ridicioulsly long, so due to her existance, and activities, big D decides to take her away?

I'm exhausted and it's starting to getting really fucking sloppy, disorganized and rushed here. S'been a long day of overcompensation and wanting to get this over with, so here's what we're going to do:

-Next week will be our 'designated finale'. I'll come in fresh, hard, gather all my crap, buckle down and we'll do this seriously as our last session before finally moving on to greater things.

-In the mean time try to make sense of whats been happening and plan out our collective final courses of action and so forth. Apologies though either way- I'm not good with endings.

-The Thread is archived with the rest of the others, so you can go and vote for it here: http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive.html?tags=homonculi

>The Master went to great length to theorize and assume what could be laying at the "heart" of the tower, but eventually became obsessed and haunted by the number, "32".

I think the master didn't work with Koschei, he came on his own accord like an adventurer, and wanted treasure, glory, and perhaps immortality.
I also don't think he was human, I mean those are supposedly rare, and we are far from humans even in looks. Perhaps the tehcnology of homonculi came from humans, but I think the master made these ones differently
