Recently: You've begin your battle with Emma of the Elite Four. Nibbles scrapped with Mamoswine and took down Articuno using Stealth Rock.

General rules:

There is a 10 minute voting period after each post. Non-contradictory votes will be combined as best as possible.

Write-ins for all votes are always welcome and encouraged. They may not all make it into the post or be altered to fit in, but I'll do my best to at least try to address the spirit of the write-in.

Very important or contentious votes may be redone in a stricter voting system as it comes up.

Combat involves rolls! Once there's a clear vote winner, we roll for the move accuracy/crit/secondary effect. Usually it's just three 1d100s. Sometimes you can get a modifier from circumstances, so be creative! Add flair, do tricks with moves, mess with terrain, whatever! This is not a video game.

Call me out on a mistake and receive an apology butt or suggestive picture.

Emma retrieves Articuno. She looks a excited at the intensity of the match, but also deflated at losing Articuno so early on.

Nibbles, who has taken a heroic beating so far but somehow not caring about it, breathes heavily. Earlier on, he was beating himself for messing up his Stealth Rock. After taking down Articuno, though, he seems back to his old self. He sits on the arena floor and scratches some dust and dirt out from around his neck using his rear leg.

“And incredible match, so far. Truly masterful use of Stealth Rock.”

“That’s right, Chip. Emma has been bringing blow after blow down onto that Tyrantrum, and it’s still managed to keep going.”

She seems to be taking her time. You guess she’s in no rush. Her eyes dart around the arena, looking at the layout of the water, land bridge, cover, and stealth rocks.

You could take this chance to swap Pokemon. If you’re fast, you could even run to the PC and make a switch there. Or you can use a setup move while she hesitates.

“Nibbles! Stomp out those Stealth Rocks!”

“So that’s your move, huh?” Emma smiles as she sends our her next Pokemon. Avalugg. It comes out already spinning. “You know what to do! Rapid Spin! Send them back!”

She’s moving much faster than you expected. It’s like she was waiting for you to do something and planning to counter it before you could prepare your next move.

The flat-topped ice Pokemon spins away the Stealth Rock on it’s side. Instead of just knocking them out of the battle though, they end up replacing the ones Nibbles is taking out.

Nibbles can’t keep up. He’s exhausted, and each Stealth Rock he manages to destroy damages him slightly. He’s determined to clear up his mistake though, and keeps at it despite the occasional misstep.

Nibbles turns around and is disheartened that almost everything he’s clear out has been replaced. Then suddenly, another Stealth Rock comes flying her Emma’s side, striking him in the back. He stumbles over into a rock formation, roaring as he goes down.

“Tyrantrum is unable to battle.” The referees are quick to make the call. The poor guy did his best, but he was taken down by his own move.

“Good job,” you tell his ball as you retrieve him. “You took down Articuno and rough up Mamoswine.”

And there’s one other thing. While the majority of the Stealth Rocks were cleared, he opened a small path you can throw a Pokemon in, if you aim well.

Who will you choose to take on Avalugg?

You take out Zappy Dan. It’s been awhile since he’s had a chance to shine.

And shine he does! His metallic coating looks sparkly and clean. His new diet and training is doing wonders.

He casually takes in his opponent and circumstances. A Stealth Rock explodes on his back, but it wasn’t a full hit. Plus with his typing it's not that big of a deal. It certainly woke up him, though.

“Looks like Kat is going for the type advantage.”

“Indeed. But will it be enough to handle Emma’s notorious counter-attacking strategies?”

Emma has Avalugg reposition slightly. She’s planning something.

There’s still only one path to Avalugg. She’s been trying to bait you over it. There’s a pond in between, and a broken path to your right that a Pokemon might be able to leap over if it’s a good jumper.

You examine her Avalugg. It’s got Sturdy as it’s ability.

“Flash Cannon!”

Dan goes first, which is incredibly unusual for him. He’s almost always the slowest thing on the field.

The shot flashes out instantly, creating a shiny, almost rainbow-like reflection. It pierces Avalugg, making it kick back a bit.

But Avalugg holds on and counters with Mirror Coat! With twice the power of Dan’s Super Effective and powerful Special Attack, a beam rips out, throwing Dan up into the air and back onto his head.

“As soon as you brought out Magnezone, I knew you’d go on the offensive like that,” Emma tells you. “Some people might be calling you the Status Queen, but I’m the best there is at counter-strategy!”

Dan sloppily rights himself. That was a devastating blow. Judging by how badly it hurt Avalugg, you can only imagine how jolting it was for Dan. He probably already doesn’t much left in him already.

“Light Screen!” You have Dan put up a defensive barrier, making your team much more resistant to Special Attacks. It’s a safe bet.

Damnit! Her Avalugg is resting off the damage. It cozily falls asleep and regains all lost health from Flash Cannon.

Emma smiles. “I’m surprised. I assumed you were going to use an offensive status move.”

The announcers speculate. “Interesting moves on both sides.”

You’re tempted to use Lock-on and debut Sparkle Cannon, but you worry that she has a strategy while sleeping. Something else is nagging you that it might not work, either.

“Electric Terrain!”

Dan light’s up the ground, creating a web of sparking electricity. It coats the ground and jolts Avalugg awake.

Emma orders her Pokemon to use Sleep Talk, but it fails.

“Incredible foresight from the challenger!”

“Indeed, Chip.

You can sense just a tiny bit of fluster from her. First you don’t fall for her baiting with Mamoswine, then you bring down Articuno, and now you’re keeping Avalugg from doing what it apparently does well with.

“I love it! Keep surprising me!” She shouts. The normally chill women is getting heated. “

You’re still facing a problem. Her Avalugg is fully healed and it knows it can take one shot from Dan before going down. Infact, with Sturdy, it’s guaranteed.

“Alright,” Emma says. “But you’re not out of the woods yet! Isn’t that right, Avalugg?”

Her Pokemon bounces cutely for a moment, then goes back to being the fierce Elite Four Pokemon you were facing a moment ago. You can tell there’s a real bond there. “Mirror Coat!”

But you and Dan have your own bond. “Thunderwave!”

Dan already knows it’s coming. He zaps off a wide wave of yellow light, paralyzing his opponent.

Avalugg can’t move! Not that Mirror Coat would have helped.

“Avalugg! Here it comes! Substitute!”

Avalugg tries it’s best, but it’s unable to move.

“Now, Dan! Magnet Bomb!”

Dan fires off a hard, metal bomb that homes in on it’s target. There’s an explosion on Avaluggs tough, icey hide.

“Trying to break through our defense, huh?”

“We need to change it up! Avalugg! Superpower!”

As she’s making that command, you have Dan fire off Flash Cannon. It pierces through Avaluggs’ weak Special Defences.

Avalugg stumbles and falls into the pond as it’s struck. Despite it not being Dan’s most powerful display, his special attack power is still very high.

Avalugg fails to get back up. Emma recalls it just as the ref’s declare it unable to battle.

“A close match.”

“You’ve got that right, Chip. The play and counterplay is amazing.”

“Alright! Mamoswine, you’re back in!”

Her Mamoswine appears again. It’s taken some damage from fighting Nibbles, but as a ground type, it has an advantage against Dan.

Mamoswine roars as it enters. It looks eager to prove itself after being forced to run away before.

But that's literally what Explosion was designed for. We're at low health, we have a type disadvantage, and we've already traded one for the damage Dan's taken. If we explode now, we come out ahead. If we use another move and miss or fail, we only traded 1:1.

“Mud Slap!”

“Dan! Explosion!”

A weak, soft wave of wet mud gently slaps Dan in the face as he charges all of his remaining power into one final attack.

Dan shines and glows as he gathers it all up. Then BOOM! The arena shakes and you have to cover your face. The wind and force rips at your hair and clothes, forcing them to flap back violently.

Before it’s over, the air is sucked in back to where it came from. Your hair whips in front now, stinging your face. You feel the shoulder of your shirt rip and your skin is blasted by sand and debris.

It takes a second to get your bearings. The stadium is silent for the first time.

There’s a massive crater on your half of the arena. The water from the pond in the middle floods in, leaving no land for your Pokemon to maneuver in, and knee-deep water everywhere.

Dan is feinted. His top off gently lists from side to side as the water rushes in. You recall him quickly.

Mamoswine stands on it’s side of the arena, unharmed. It looks down. Any Pokemon you send after it will have a literal uphill battle.

“An unfortunate miss from Explosion.”

“That’s right, Chip. Magnezone was trying to bring Mamoswine with it, but it seems like it’s entirely unharmed. And now Kat has a severe terrain disadvantage.”

You hope Dan’s okay. That looked like it didn’t quite work out right. He’ll probably be exhausted for awhile, even with a Pokemon center.

(continued)
>>
>>46282754
That was us in the battle not on the side commanding a pokemon
Also it was just gonna be a bit fucked up
>>
>>46282771
“Smooth move,” Dark Kat says, standing beside you. “Guess you really want to avoid facing Robin’s dad. I don’t blame you. Even if you lucked your way into winning, he’d still hate your guts. You corrupted his daughter and now your proving that you never had what it takes to train your Pokemon.”

You tune her out. Your ears are ringing.

A referee approaches you, he’s asking if you’re hurt. You give a polite thumbs up, and he waves a flag for the match to continue.

You look at your flooded, slanted side of the arena, and think about who to toss into it. Even with the massive explosion though, Dan managed to leave most of the Stealth Rock’s laying around. If you're lucky, you might be able to get your Pokemon in without triggering them, but it's iffy.

“Raistlin! Come on out!”

Raistlin appears in a flash of light. He catches himself before he falls into the water and teleports instinctively. A Stealth Rock he would have landed on explodes a second later, throwing up a column of water.

Emma points down at your sunken half of the field.“Mamoswine! Let’s use that terrain to our advantage!”

The tempting move is to use something Super Effective like Energy Ball, but you also want to make your side a little safer.

Raistlin, a logical and cautious guy, agrees. You both work in sync on figuring out the best rock. And with that, you push him to mega-evolve.

“Now!”

Raistlin grabs a Stealth Rock from your side, teleports it directly on top of Mamoswine, and teleports away before it can react. The explosion shakes the giant mammoth.

“Hail!” Emma commands. Mamoswine starts working up a snowstorm that chills you even from where you’re at.

But it doesn’t hurt Raistlin. He’s traced Snow Cloak.

>Teleport another Stealth Rock onto Mamoswine. Clear your area
>Confusion. Not as strong as other moves, but can confuse
>Energy Ball, try finish it!
>Hidden Power Fire, great coverage!
>Psychic, strong and direct
>Focus Blast, a very powerful Fighting move that’ll smash through ice. If it hits, it’ll definitely KO Mamoswine
>Dazzling Gleam, a good Fairy type move
>Shadow Ball, a ghost type move that might lower your opponent's Special Defence
>Swap Pokemin

We do want to finally get this mess taken care of before Devon has to take the field.

They were thinking taking a quarter of Mamoswine's health down would help, I guess.

We've had a couple lackluster rounds, but Raistlin is pretty good at dodging. We're not likely to pull ahead in time if we don't take a risk here and go big. We don't want to get into a battle of attrition now that the hail is up.

“Don’t think mega-evolution is enough to turn a battle. All that mental energy it sucks up is one less clever thought in a jam,” Emma warns.

It’s true that mega-evolution can be a bit draining, but the more you've practised it, the easier it gets. The question that’s bugging you is, how does she know that? Is she just an observant doctor and trainer, or does she know first hand?

It doesn't matter right now. What matters is the moment. “Raistlin! Energy Ball!”

Despite his amazing speed, Mamoswine manages to move first thanks to using Ice Shard. It heads straight for Raistlin, but it’ll miss by a small amount.

He teleports himself and the Ice Shard. When they reappear a fraction of a second later, the shard zooms past him and crashes through a Stealth Rock. The shard doesn't stop there, though. It breaks into pieces, setting off two more.

Only after clearing those does Raistlin fire is Energy Ball. if you didn't have your connection to him, you would have missed how it went down. He’s so fast.

Energy Ball explodes onto Mamoswine. It’s a critical hit! Mamoswine is sent tumbling down, crashing into the water.

Raistlin lands on dry ground near Emma’s side, legs crossed. He awaits his next challenger.

[That’s it for tonight! Thanks for coming, everyone!]

Soon(tm). But seriously, I know it's been a good long while. I've had a few ideas and couldn't settle on a lot of them.

>>46283900
From your research, her likely Pokemon are:

Glaceon
Lapras
Abomasnow
Froslass
Articuno - Out
Avalugg - Out
Mamoswine - Out
>>
>>46283921
Abomasnow is her Mega then. Lapras is basically a given, since she KNOWS we'll have Devon.

Want to share any of those ideas to tide the curious over, Gobble?
>>
>>46283942
I see her having Froslass over Glaceon for the coverage
Probably gonna be the next one out

>>46283957

[Three stories.

One is an alternate universe where Kat ran into Violet earlier on and was persuaded to join her for Pokemon liberation shenanigans. Violet brings her around to understanding that people are overrated, and all you need in life is Pokemon.

One is Jeanine and Vance. Not sure how it's playing out, but I'm thinking it'll be a pretty sweet and vanilla piece.

The other is a story about Clair mentally stopping Kat from being able to orgasm during the ten days she was training before the match.
]

>>46284033
Huh...

That third one is probably crueler than the first DESU.

If you're open to requests, can we see the aftermath of that argument about the 'Genesis theory' Prof Fir's assistants were having?

Sounds like it could be hilarious.

And phew, glad this is archived. It's shaping up to be the best battle yet.

>>
>>46284163
Couldn't tell you. It's been like that for a long time.
>>
>>46284033
My request is some more forced exhibitionism for Robin, in the form of a fantasy. Kat blindfolds her and starts to tease her, whispering in her ear and making her imagine a situation where she was naked in front of a huge audience, with all of them watching every little thing Kat does to her, and Robin slowly grows more and more embarrassed as she gets into it. Basically, embarrassment play without being mean-spirited; just deliciously teasing. Hell, even better, maybe Clair could help Kat by putting some naughty images in her head.
>>
>>46284166
Loli-cosplaying*. Damn auto correct.
>>
>>46284033
I wanna finally see a foursome. Or five some.

Get Kat some Vance dick.
>>
>>46284174
>>46284206
Better yet, combine these two. Make sure Robin knows she's being watched by every single one of her friends while we play with her. It would make the fantasy we're putting her through all the more intense if she knows she really is being put on display.

>>
>>46284102
Second for this, those assistants were funny and the theories could be some pretty interesting world building. What evidence you decide exists could say a lot about the setting. Personally, I've always wondered what the difference between what one pokemon and two pokemon was. I mean, what with pokemon like kyurem, shedinja, dugtrio, and slowbro. If we get forbidden love, well, that's just icing on the cake.
>>
>>46284425
Just to be clear, I don't have a Gardevoir fetish, but the two of them implicating themselves the way they did really begs to be explored further.

And I'd kind of find it hilarious if the scientist with the Gardevoir just gets walked all over by it and it's the instigator of the whole thing.
