Agona's ship appears over the Lavafathers moon and she makes the familiar descent through fierce storms. Punching through the perpetual storm her ship sails over rain-slicked and steaming mountain ranges, the jagged peaks looming in the gloom below with bright strips of molten stone criss-crossing the landscape.

The Lavafathers volcano rises in the distance, a river of orange magma flowing from it's caldera down it's sides. A shipyard grows on the safer side, ships in various states of completion filling the pylons. Stone buildings crop up around the shipyard, settlements for the stonestar natives that work alongside Obsidianborn and loaned Reconstructed.

The frigate transporting the formidable Punisher General hovers near where Agona first made contact with the Lavafather by a great lake of molten stone. She strides across fields of black stone crunching under her heavy steps and stops at the edge of the glowing pool where one of the floating Obsidianborn awaits her.

A pillar of black stone rises from the molten pool, cracking down the middle and splitting open into two pieces. The inside was a hollow space barely large enough for Agona to squeeze into. She glances at the Obsidianborn before nodding and takes her place within. The stone coffin seals around her and drifts to the center of the lake.

There is hardly a splash as it disappears under the lava and you lose track of her presence as it fades deeper into the core of the mountain.

The Lavafathers voice rumbles, "She will be Reforged and worlds will burn in her passing."

Completed Research:
>Deathshead Guardian Fighter: A one-person fighter that carries enough firepower to pose a serious threat to Sub-capitol ships on it's own, this craft is the signature ship of the Deathshead Guardians. An interesting observation is the craft lacks a proper power core, instead the pilot links themselves to the ship and fuels it with their own potent natural abilities.

>Advanced Missiles: The Osjiic ships relied mostly on a mix of ballistic ferrous slugs and a wide array of missiles. From cluster missiles to missiles larger than a fighter, the Osjiic armory was quite varied and deadly.

>Osjiic Capitol Mimicry: Large blocky ships with much of their mass dedicated to heavy armor bulkheads.

>Ahkam Capitol Mimicry: An array of ships from different builders but it was the thorned Kosda ships that made up the majority of their capitol ships.

Unlocked:
Void-Overcharge: Void-Terrors and other Void power craft can now have their systems "overcharged" by a Void wielding pilot. This improves the crafts performance in speed, weapons systems, and maneuverability. The effect is temporary and runs the risk of causing the ship to go into a cooldown mode at the end of the overcharge.

Pike Missile: A longer than the average fighter craft these missile pack an impressive warhead with the intention of damaging and destroying Sub-capitols and causing significant damage to Capitol ships. To make up for it's large target profile it relies on dense armor to keep it intact long enough to strike its target. Cost: 60M per Pod

Missile Upgrade: All missiles have increased range and a slight accuracy upgrade.

AOMBS: Anti-Orbital Missile Bunker System- A large underground complex that spreads for miles this series of bunkers connect to a central factory where hundreds of missiles are produced daily and distributed. A single system of these can cover the entirety of a planet and its airspace, it's Pike Missiles able to reach even the orbit of moon. Dedicated to launching a swarm of missiles to attack anything violating its planets airspace from atmospheric fighters to capitol ships in orbit. Cost: 400,000B 500,000M

Osjiic and Ahkam Capitol disguised ships can now be constructed by your pylons.

The Predators Nekris and Eiton stalk the corridors of Station 88, fighting the Blackscale Cyborgs and capturing the few remaining resistance fighters. The oxygen levels of the station had been allowed to drop low enough that the living guerrillas were becoming sluggish and struggling to breath. More and more were captured, allowing the two generals to focus on routing the foreign undead. Losses have been sustained but they are quickly replaced using the dead left in the wake.

The Voidknights scour the mining planet, Gargoyles and Stalkers searching for the remaining Deathshead Guardian. Eventually one of the Disciples discovers a broken stone and flakes of void scorched metal letting them pick up its trail. The Guardian attempted to hide within a series of canyons but Reconstructed pour in, searching for their quarry.

The Plainsrunners seem to be adjusting well to their new home, Jor and Red-Leaf-Strains speaking with the other Osogo about the possibility of inviting other herds to join them in time. Young David is quite popular with the Osogo, the babe growing fast, even faster than a normal human would normally but his parents have yet to notice his development.

The Capitol City nears completion, canals filling with melt water from the snows on the mountains peaks and underground springs. Young eels and crustaceans are introduced to the waters filled with kelp and floating plants. Orchards spread throughout the city are given last minute touches, the various plants gained from the Armatocere growing well.

The Fury of the Wormstar stirs beneath the waves of Rukor, its bone and metal shell that hid it from the outside universe cracking as it flexes its great limbs then relaxes. It was gathering its strength, the Mind of it learning all it could from it's Deep Rot and Charnel Vault cousins.

The Blackscale have leveled their challenge to you, Necrotic energy radiating off an alien temple hidden in a dark jungle. They wait below for your arrival.

>>
>>46277443
Which of the two are more powerful? We are talking about raising a planetary structure into the upper atmosphere.
>>
>>46277637
That would be the Charnel Vault as right now the Fury is still not quite ready to emerge. Physically it's all set but it's doing final system checks and downloading the latest software patches as it were

>>46277728
So would performing THE PLAN with the Charnel Vault and a battleship or two instead of the two flagships be workable?

A lone Corvette appears in orbit over the dark world with a flash of light as it "skips" into the system. The ship drifts for a few minutes then descends to the planet below and the temple. Your voice carries over the airwaves the Blackscale had used prior, "I am here to face your challenge."

There is silence as the ship comes to a stop just above the canopy of black-leafed trees then a burst of static, "The trial awaits. Prove your strength, relic."

You grind your teeth in anger as the doors of the cargo hold open and you descend on your throne. The Throne held a trio of Dirges fused to the stone, posed to appear as if they were standing guard with shields and swords of glass. A sphere of telekinetic energy surrounds you as you push through the trees with branches bending out of the way. Strange alien creatures flee flying and swinging through the trees at your approach.

The Temple looms before you, dark crumbling stone choked with pale white vines. Kyn'tk shifts in your grasp when you stand on the small step at the base of the throne and look up at the temple. You could almost feel the eyes of the Blackscale upon you, the entrance shrouded in vines but open for you.

You stay there for several minutes, observing and waiting until you hear a croaking hiss in your skull, the Blackscale mentally contacting you, "You appear the part but your hesitation betrays your weakness."

A cruel laugh escapes you, sending nearby creatures fleeing once more into the darkness, "I do not hesitate. Merely waiting. I find your "challenge" and "trial" insulting! You dare challenge the greatest general of the Wormstar and subject me to this degradation?" Your voice calls out insults and challenges against the Blackscales honor in the harsh language of the Wormstar and you can almost sense their fury through the mental connection.

High above in orbit a nova of Void-light ignites as the Charnel Vault arrives with its fleet. You gloat as the ships take formation in the skies. The Omega Harvesters, temporarily taken from their tasks, descend into the atmosphere with a guard of corvettes and Nails, the flagship staying in low orbit. Requiems and Dirges glitter like droplets of crimson blood as they lower themselves through the air in a circle then stop just above the temple like a halo of undead crystal.

You still feel the mental contact with the Blackscales but they are silent as you call out, "Witness my power and realize your place, Blackscale. I am Jadyk the Lich-Lord, successor and inheritor of the Wormstars power and will. You are mere lizards born from their curse. You were an accident, a punishment. I was Chosen!"

The ground rumbles as the combined might of the Dirges and Requiems, guided by your own significant might reaches out and grasps the main bulk of the temple. Stones crack and vines tear as the very foundations of the structure shift.

The temple shudders and groans as you reach down with your telekinetic powers and attempt to scoop the main structure from the very ground itself. Straining with the effort you wonder just how heavy a temple could possibly weigh. Even still you watch as the temple begins to lift up ever so slowly, dirt and stone falling away from the base with a cracking of rock.

Gritting your teeth you thrust out both hands, mimicking the motion of picking up the ruins the Blackscale dared to challenge you with. You hope they were feeling foolish as you lift the temple several feet and climbing, "This is what I think of your challenge!" you bark over the mental connection.

"We were...wrong to doubt your power, yet... The temple was only the stage. Your Challenge is only now arriving, Lich-Lord," the words in the broken Wormstar language filling your mind only moments before alerts from your ships blare in distress.

Your concentration falters as you look up to the sky and watch as a new star grows in orbit, the Temple slipping and sliding down into it's hole with a resounding crash that shakes the trees for miles.

A yellow sun grows in orbit above the planet then novas into a burst of light and radiation scorching the hulls of flickering the shields of the nearest ships. From within the nova appeared a fleet of ships. Ships of pale stone surround a Battleship of gray and white stone, a golden sun emblazoned across it's hull. The skeletons of a pair of intertwined Ahkam juveniles mounted across it, the spire of stone capped by a dome of golden light.

Fighters shed from the hulls of stone ships like fleas and take up defensive positions around their parent ships. Small spheres of solar fire burn at the rear of the sub-capitols, the cores and engines all in one as they rotate their bulks to face your ships with weapons charging

You were lucky, the Sunscale fleet arrived within sight of your fleet with their own weapons already charged.

The Sunscale have arrived.

Well, let's stall them in any way we can. If keeping silent is going to have them faster then by all means, let's chat.

This is going to end in fighting one way or another.

Let's take Muic and one of the Predators. Also some disciples for that void element.
And bring glutton spheres too. We know that Sunscale utilize void energy and perhaps we can attune it to solar if we experience it enough.
>>
Offer them a chance to leave/ see if tey are willing I talk as we aren't the same world stripping armada. But considering their black scale brothers obviously lured them into a trap tey expect us to clean for them pout out we aren't all that interested in killing them

Do we have Arc variants? We really need to start breaking up our fleets into differently attuned ships. We should have same ratio of Necrotic, Void, Arc, Kinetic and soon to be Obsidian ships. And whenever we discover new element, we should build new ships utilizing it.
>>
>>46281701
As if we would miss out in a chance of sipping out those who killed our creator

Maybe as a per project we can stitch them all together while still alive into a miniature wormstar replica, maybe keep them alive so it can be a nice writhing ball of agony held spinning on display in our trophy room by dirges
>>
>>46281746
Lorgul and co have void, Nekris and the hunters have arc, Punishers are about to have lava/heat/magma/whatever.

Speaking of which, we should hurry and get arc/magma for ourselves, so we can start shoving that shit into reconstructed/researching it
>>
>>46281746
I prefer to have the bulk of our fleet composed of standard necrotic design, with a handful of specialized ships designed to utilize each form of energy. We keep costs low and avoid over specialization, while still having kickass ships that can spearhead actions against specific enemies and threats as needed.
>>
>>46281866
So perhaps we should arrange fleet designs for earlier management with varying quantities of certain ships as a base then then having specialised ships in their own fleet designs so we can say

>send x of necrotic fleets and
>send x fleets of element y
>>
>>46281818
We are already researching Arc lightning. Once Agona has obsidianborn powers, we should be able to research that too.
>>
Might I suggest we build a temple for training the living necromancers then when ever we have captured prisoners or civilians if they have the spark they are sent there to serve out their initial transition period and then once they are acclimatised we induct them into the faith
>>
>>46282083
I don't know if we've got the scale or number of elements for such a system to work just yet. Give it time, we're getting there.
>>
>>46282105
I'd still prefer to actually be able to USE said element, we've ignored votes to drain akham, which we need to do to develop arc powers.

Plus, whatever we develop from arc/magma will likely be restricted to those capable of using the type, like void was.

Across your systems ships not currently engaged with immediate tasks rapidly pull away and enter FTL. It would take some time but they rush to assist you, sped along by urgency and already knowing their destination.

The Sunscale ships drift into strategic positions, the Battleship rotating so the spire of it's hull aims towards the Charnel Vault. You hastily send a message to the ships on all channels and your voice calls out to them as you seat yourself on the throne and it lifts to the waiting corvette but stays within the planets atmosphere.

"Hold, we have now quarrel with you, strangers," you say, hoping the believe the ploy.

There is silence and then there is a growling voice over the channel, "You reek of Necrotic power and your ships are made of bone and flesh. There will be quarrel and glorious battle, foul undead. Suffer not the dead to walk," they intone and the line cuts out.

The small spheres of flame at the rears flare with light as the first volley is unleashed and quickly followed by the fighters behind. Your own ships unleash their weapons in answer as you swear at their hastiness.

Defensive Corvettes leap into action, their repeater cannons rapidly shooting down incoming missiles and slugs made of dense metal and shielding the larger craft with their own forms. Several have their shields broken and their hulls crack open but their sacrifice rescues the other craft.

Your own attack strikes against their ships wiping out a large portion of their fighters and several of the sub-capitols. The spinal cannons of the Charnel Vault launch slugs of necrotic infused metal as large as gunships at the Sunscale battleship but one of the heavy cruiser pushes itself in the way and a portion of the clustered slugs deflect wildly into the cosmic distance but the others shatter the shield and break the ship nearly in two.

The Sunscale Battleship retaliates with a beam of solar fire that streaks across the distance, incinerating several nails before it strikes a glancing blow against the flagship, shearing off several turrets as it passed through the shields unhindered.

A handful of Nails manage to swerve their way past the blockade of protective ships and narrow in on the Battleship, the main solar cannon already charging up for another attack. Weapons mounts turn on the ships and the narrow craft twist and roll to avoid the attacks. The unleash their missiles, pins and needles pouring into the mouth of the cannon moments before they fling themselves into the weapon itself.

The Pilots in their final moments shout out, "For the Lich-Lord!" the cry picked up by the Deep Rot and the Reconstructed fleet as the Nails detonate themselves within the large weapon. Explosions rock the large stone ship, leaving the tip where the cannon once protruded a glowing crater.

The Charnel Vault takes advantage of their sacrifice, another volley cracking against the shields of a nearby battlecruiser and causing heavy damage to it's hull. The skies above the dark planet glow and flash with explosions and beams of energy solar and necrotic, the burning remains of ships streaking towards the ground.

Your fleet was exchanging blows with the Sunscale fleet, ships exploding and breaking on both sides but you know that even with the Charnel Vault the costs to your fleets would be dire. The Corvette prepares to depart even as the defenseless Omega Harvesters land on the planets surface to avoid notice, Dirges and Requiems landing on the now lopsided temple and holding completely still like macabre decorations. You can almost feel their yearning to fight but trapped on the planet they would be easily picked off should they attempt to ascend to orbit.

You fear for your fleet and your brand new flagship but your fears are partially relieved as a message reaches you from Muic, Jareth and Eiton. Each of the new Generals brought a force of your armada with them, appearing behind the Sunscale fleet thanks to the aid of your Eyegore.

The three Generals command their ships forward and attack the unguarded flanks of the Sunscale, lightning cannons and spinal guns raking across their backsides. Their fleet suddenly vastly outnumbered the Sunscale turn their weapons against the new arrivals, fighting with a renewed fury that takes your Generals by surprise. Ships on both sides are sundered but the pure press of numbers begins to overwhelm the Sunscale until all but a handful remained.

Remaining Sunscale ships:
>1 Battleship
>1 Battlecruiser
>1 Heavy Cruiser
>2 Frigates

Necrotic Losses:
>1 Battlecruiser

>>46283659
They explode when we try, anon. IF we take prisoners, we should only take a few, and use them for the EXPRESS purpose of finding a way past their self-destruct.

But then, I have a hunch we can help bypass it if we develop Solar powers by draining the shit out of their leader, personally, by not giving him even an INSTANT to think about exploding himself to spite us, because you just know he's TOTALLY going to as soon as we weaken him to a point where he can no longer win the fight.

Essentially. By having someone with the ability to manipulate the energy connected to the Cauldron/Think Tank system they are able to study the energy and attune Glutton Spheres to it.

Because of Lorgul and Nekris having the slightest of Arc power within him the first generation of Glutton Spheres had access to the three energy types, Void, Necrotic and Void

There was something about the situation that filled you with a white-hot anger.

Just after visiting your former ally and the only surviving member of the Armada, only to learn of her compliance in the deaths of both yourself and the Wormstar. Then you find a faction of Necrotic controlling Sunscale cursed by the Wormstar only to have them disrespect you so grandly. They then had the gall to use you to fight their purist, undead hating cousins.

Your rage boils around you as the corvette angles itself toward the skies, Dirges and Requiems floating into position around it before the full group launches into the air and out of the atmosphere.

Nails and sub-capitols swarm the remaining ships, ion guns and acid-drops disabling or melting weapon mounts. The Charnel Vault latches onto the battleship with its tractor beam to hold it in place as Nails run strafing attacks against the thick stone hull searching for an entry.

Your Generals split up among the remaining craft, Muic staying in her ship to keep watch and make sure there were no sudden unknown arrivals. Eiton and Jareth eagerly leading their Support Coffins to latch onto and board the ships.

The corvette carrying you drifts to a halt in the shadow of your battle-scarred flagship, Requiems and Dirges ripping away chunks of stone until they manage to breach the hull. Atmosphere leaks out along with a few Worker Sunscale before the Corvette docks with the hole and seals it shut.

Undead. Incoming wall o'text

>>46284446
You were at the forefront of the assault on your throne, gunfire already peppering you only for flechettes and bullets to stop midair then drop slowly in the low gravity using the Dirges fused to your throne to form a protective shell around you.

Shock Trolls flood in around you quickly followed by an array of Reconstructed troops. They only encounter Workers at first, the green and metal-scaled lizards falling back down hallways shouting and firing behind them as they're pursued by leaping and screaming Talons and Stalkers. Looms and Flatbody Gargoyles slither through ventilation ducts, dropping sedation and riot gas grenades or firing through grates at passing Sunscale.

Your throne drifts down a hexagonal hallway of metal and stone as a flash of flame illuminates the corridor ahead. Shields of hard-light are raised at the front of a line of Warbloods, the hulking dark-scaled warriors armored in red and orange plates. Scatterguns bark harshly, filling the air with burning metal that tears through a line of Trolls. Several of the Warbloods inhale deeply then unleash a wave of flame from their mouths that washes over and cooks your troops.

Thrusting your hand out you telekinetically grasp one of the Warbloods behind the front lines and tear them past their companions and the Reconstructed. The lizard shouts in alarm only to gasp as they were flung onto the blade of Kyn'tk, their body withering then falling to the floor.

Standing from your throne you are handed a shield from a nearby Stinger and with spear in hand you dash through the air over the heads of your Reconstructed. Kyn'tk lashes out, snaking around a hard-light shield with blinding speed to open their throat with a spray of blood. Voidflames engulf your shield, chewing through the rounds they poured into you.

The Warbloods were a fearsome foe, your reconstructed suffering at their hands and flames but you carve a path through them in your fury. Bolts of Necrotic power and lashes of Voidflame leap from the twisting black metal of your spear, devastating the Sunscale and leaving a trail of withered and torn bodies in your wake.

Diver Sunscale fire from behind barricades, launching grenades and bundles of razor-wire at your Reconstructed as Workers form shield phalanxes with metal shields and polearms that hum with electricity. Tall skinny green Sunscale leap from wall to wall, their x-shaped feet not touching the surfaces before they're propelled weightlessly down the hallways launching explosive bolts at pursuing Reconstructed. Strangely, among the Sunscale you encounter a number of other races, yet each armored or clothed in the Sunscale colors and fighting alongside them. Humans, Vorh, Kosda, Epikor, even Tyrre and a few lone Osjiic fight alongside the Sunscale with an almost equal zeal as their reptilian comrades.

When it became clear that the tide was unstoppable alarms began to blare throughout the large ship and a voice begins to order an emergency evacuation. Looms and Shadows follow those that flee, picking them off one by one. They rush towards the outer hull then dive through hatches that seal behind them. Several don't seal in time and the unfortunate escapees find themselves locked in a compact room with the blood-thirsty Reconstructed, their blood quickly painting the walls and consoles. Escape pods are launched into space but they are quickly intercepted and either blown apart or snagged in the grasp of tractor beams or the Requiems and held captive for the moment.

You find the halls suddenly clear of the living, your shield cracked but still sizzling with void energy. Blood drenches you up to the elbow, splatters staining your armor and skull but Kyn'tk was spotless as it drank in the blood. Ahead of you lies the main bridge, the memories taken from a slain Kosda showing that room hidden under the large dome was where the commander and pilots of the craft waited.

The doors creak then slowly open as you float toward them, a horde of Reconstructed at your back. The light was blinding within, a small sun the size of a crit crawl suspended at the height of the great dome. Consoles and stations were spread around the bridge on various levels and steppes, the highest peak holding a throne of stone just under the miniature star.

Upon it sat a Warblood but one unlike any you had seen before. Larger than the others his scales were a pristine white except where jagged scars marked years of battle. Their armor was a stark black with white panels, a golden sun emblazoned across their chest. At their sides were a pair of Warbloods, their armor identical and each carrying an octagonal rod of runed metal.

Standing the Albino Warlbood dons their helm before twin jets of solar flame like blades form in their grasp, "Come, Lich. Meet your true death," they say calmly before leaping forward with their Warblood bodyguards.

>>
>>46284544
No. Why the hell would we for someone who probably only knows of them from legend, and will soon die?
>>
>>46284544
I think we should put the mask on only when we're either about to die, or safe and sound back home.

Speaking of which, we should totally put the mask on once we're done here and enslaved the blackscales.
>>
>>46284560
Why would we want to sell ourselves off as a masked? That will probably only annoy them, and it's like we're giving credit for our accomplishments to someone who couldn't care less about us.
>>
>>46284657
What? No, I mean when we get back to base, and are safe in our bunker, we should put on the mask that we WON from them. To see what it does in a non-threatening situation, y'know? It's one of their masks so it probably has some kind of cool poer.

I'm not saying we should go around and be all "Hey look at me! I'm a masked! whooooo!", because that would be stupid.
>>
>>46284686
I see your logic, but I personally think our time would be better spent meditating on the Wormstar. The last time we tried we kind of botched the roll and with how powerful we've become since then and all we've learned we might be more successful.
>>
>>46284708
Eh, they're both good ideas, but I'm just too damned curious as to what that mask DOES, man. Either way, they're both things we can do whenever, but the Wormstar's not getting any dead-er anytime soon, whereas the masked might be getting a little insulted that we went so far as to ask for a mask and then just left it lying around instead of doing anything with it.
>>
>>46284742
From it's behavior during our little chat with Akka-Tor I assume that it serves as a communication relay/tracker for the masked. They appear to be able to see through it and it responds to their thoughts, but it does not seem to confer us with any of their powers.
>>
>>46284765
Yeah, but we haven't tried putting it on yet, and if there's anything that would cause a mask to activate/whatever, I'd assume it would be putting it on.
>>
We should make our bunker into a trophy room

GraveQM I summon you from your slumber
>>
>>46284495
A halo of flame engulfs the Albino Warblood as they fly at you, the pair of twin warblood rushing behind them. Their flaming brands lash out at you but a Shock Troll leaps in the way, the jet of flame passing through and nearly cutting them in half. Kyn'tk bursts from the core of the troll as you dart forward hoping to take the Sunscale off guard. The black metal scrapes across their armor as they use their momentum to twist away from the strike twirling through the air.

Enraged Shock Trolls rush past you dueling with the albino to engage the pair of Warbloods. Swinging the rather simplistic looking weapons you are temporarily distracted as a Shock Troll very nearly explodes from the force of the blow that reduces bones to dust and makes a severed arm go sailing away. Spinning the rods with surprising speed they strike blows that should be impossible for their size and admittedly impressive strength.

Kyn'tk shifts and reforms into new deadly shapes as you duel with the Sunscale Albino, both flying around the domed room in your vicious fight. Bolts of necrotic power lick across his armor but you feel his armor absorb the brunt of the attacks so you switch to the Void. Ultraviolet flames clash with radiant solar fire, Kyn'tk reshaping itself into a hammer that erupts with voidflame.

The sudden change surprises the Lizard and causes him to hesitate allowing you to grab then fling him telekinetically toward the ceiling of the dome. It cracks as he strikes it but holds, the lizard groaning at the pain but dodging barely in time as you slash with Kyn'tk forming a long bladed sword and gouging a deep cut in the meter thick glass.

Launching himself at you once more you guard with your shield only for it to warp and crack as he unleashes a pillar of blue flames from his maw, the violent flames charring your arm and bones.

>cont
>>
>>46285007
Below the pair of Warbloods smash and sunder Reconstructed foolish enough to attack them in range of their mighty staves, their orange flames washing over the others. It was the few Cyclops you had brought with you to the Temple and rarely brought onto boarding operations that manage to turn the tide. A well-placed shot of explosive bone lodges itself into joint of a knee before detonating and crippling the lizard with a cry of pain.

They are quickly swarmed by the Reconstructed, their weapon torn out of their grasp only to break the fingers of the Troll that tried to carry it as its weight increases exponentially and lands on the floor at the center of a dent in the stone. The other Warblood, spying its dying kin rushes forward with a scream of rage but they are run through by several Arc-spears, the Shock Trolls pouring their full strength into their weapons to cook the warblood from the inside out and dropping the smoking corpse.

The ships commander watches his officers downed by the undead swarm they give their own bellow of anger and fury, the halo of solar flame flaring around him. The once finely controlled jets of flames emanating from his hands roar into chaotic life. The burnished metal of their helm glows with the heat and they stare at you with unbridled hate in their eyes before launching at you once more.

Kyn'tk spreads itself thin, forming a spiraling shield of metal to guard yourself against the fierce onslaught that drives you back and scorches the armor of the Reconstructed below. The Albino Warblood becomes unto a sun himself, flames licking off his body and armor in his pursuit. It was all you could do to hold back his onslaught, the Reconstructed below firing at him but most of their rounds burn up as they get close to him or don't even phase him if they do strike.

>cont
>>
>>46285023
Finally, as flames begin to engulf you as well you feel the presence of nearby power. With a shout you thrust out your hand and grasp the Albino by the throat. The flames char and scorch your armor and bones but the lizard finds himself unable to move, arrested by an invisible force. He struggles against you as you level Kyn'tk's point at him, eyes darting frantically until he spots the audience of Dirges and Requiems crowding every available inch of the dome. Their telekinetic strength join your own to hold the solar-blessed warrior in place as Kyn'tk's tines pierces flesh and scale.

A shudder runs through you as Kyn'tk drinks deep of the ocean of solar fire at the Sunscales core, the flames spreading to engulf you both. It almost becomes too much and you are forced to drop the unconscious albino the ground below, Reconstructed swarming him to tear away armor and embed at least five of the domination spikes into their form.

You hover above them, body burning and attempting to metabolize the Solar energy. The flames feel as if they will reduce your bones to ash and you feel the tips of your fingers and top layers of your armor crumble to dust. Kyn'tk twists and circles you like a concerned serpent as it helps you process the new source of power.

After what felt like an eternity burning from the inside out you manage to turn the solar blaze into something manageable, a small flicker of flame at the core of your ribcage contained by a shell of Necrotic and Void power.

Victory Complete!

Regarding troop/ship suggestions, now that we've brought our resource extraction to within sight of the 1,000,000 units per turn mark, the primary limiting factor on the growth of the armada is our low number of pylons. I'd like to suggest we address that.

>15 Vorh
>55 Kosda
>25 Tyrre
>8 Epikor
>10 Osjiic

Captured Ships:
>1 Battleship
>1 Battlecruiser
>1 Heavy Cruiser
>1 Frigate

Captured Technology:
>Hard-Light Shield: Slow - The Sunscale make extensive use of these devices that project hardened photonic structures as a defensive shield with both combat and mundane uses.

>Molten Scattergun: Fast - A heavy semi-automatic scattergun that fires heated and partially melted shots of metal or even stone

>Electro-pike: Fast - Similar to your Arc-Edged weaponry the Sunscale Workers used these telescoping weapons that can deliver a powerful shock to either kill or stun an enemy

>Anti-Grav Harness: Medium - The nimble Sunscale Scouts use these devices to move in any direction their whims decide

>Rods of Ruin: Slow - Simplistic metal rods seven feet in length and covered in runes. Impossibly heavy and very hard to move but appearing weightless in the hands of a Sunscale

>Sunscale Armors: Medium - An assortment of armors and uniforms for the Sunscale and their forces

>Solar Engine: Slow - A self-contained miniature star shielded by powerful magnetic fields. Believed to be the Sunscale ships power source, engines and FTL al in one.

>Shaker Shield: Medium - A shield of simple metal once again covered in blocky Sunscale runes. Similar to Vibroweapons they are meant to be a defensive and offensive device, Shaker Shields vibrate at extreme speeds capable of breaking or shattering weapons that strike it or using its edge similar to a powerful vibrobalde

>Ravager Blade: Slow - Shortbladed swords once again covered in runes, these blades extend to longer lengths as they're swung or stabbed, creating an unpredictable attacks
