Civ thread For the Dragon Race:

There have been stories throughout the land about the mythical beasts known as Dragons. But nothing has been seen of your kin except odd bones and tapestries on castle walls. But deep within the forrest within a cave, you hatch from your eggs. As you slowly open your eyes, you look down at your scales:

Roll for scale color (This game is based on D&D 3.5 dragon races)

Eh, as stated before by me, I'm down for playing two games at the same time. If some anon wants to start a yeti, loxo, or molerat game, I'll gladly play both. Besides, I'm curious where this dragon thing is going.

You attempt to unfurl your newly developed wings, It takes a few days to exercise your new muscles, but slowly you come you rely on your wings to help you glide through the trees. Soon you find that you are able to stay in the air for periods of time, sometime even allowing you to stay airborne for 30mins. But you are still developing, you will need to eat to grow strong.

What do you do first?
A. Catch birds above the canopy (1day)
B. Hunt.(1day)

Can we drop onto unsuspecting prey from above? Seeing as we have the glide ability now
>>
You test your newfound speed by zooming around the forest floor. Its now long before you use this skill to make your first kill. Rabbits and other rodents are no match for your speed and strength; even at your infancy.
[Food increased to satisfied]
Your new diet has made you grow strong, even after only a day’s hunting. You are roughly the size of a corgi. Off in the distance you see quick movement. Other lesser beasts wouldn’t be able to spot it, but your keen eyes track a humanoid figure moving through the forest floor.

A. Catch it, and pin it down.
B. Catch it, and eat it.
C. This would be a good time to try your breath weapon?

I want to know it is.

E. Glide over it, observe it.

>You are roughly the size of a corgi.

Yea, sounds like a plan...should we just declare ourselves the lord of a nearby empire while we are at it?

Could be a gnome anon. Chill.

Your inhumane treatment of humanoids will land you in international dragon court one day. Just sayin.
>>
>>46282311
Changing to this
>>
>>46282234
>A.
Let's find out what it is. We can always try to eat it later if it's something tasty.
>>
>>46282413
Implying the Draconian Judge hasn't slaughtered whole cities in his youth.
>>
Perhaps its your hatching nature, but your boldness and natural dragon pride can lead you to make risky choices. You leap from tree branch to tree branch, gliding to keep up with your quarry. you quickly descend upon it, colliding your body with your prey.

What did you catch?
1. An elven woman?
2. A human boy?
3. A goblin?
4. A Dwarven male?
>>
>>46282497
>2. A human boy?
Make him our human envoy
>>
>>46282497
Human boy. We Inheritance Cycle now
>>
>>46282523
I wouldn't say no to that, I loved the books.
>>
>>46282497
2. We're doing this like Eragon.

Holy shit this is Eragon. Fucking flashbacks now man...
>>
>>46282497
A goblin.

Get the weak-minded followers. We can work our way up from there
>>
>>46282497

We need our Eragon Mary Sue

>>46282523
>>46282534
>>46282547
Fellow anons confirmed for good taste in their Gary Stus.
>>
You take a look at the strange pale boy you managed to catch. He is dressed as a dirt farmer, with a bow slung on his back and a knife at his waist. He struggles to shake you off of him, until finally managing it. You stand on all fours, arching your form almost like a cat. Large blinking yellow eyes stare widely at this new creature. The boy picks himself up quickly. Hand on the handle of his knife. Both of you wait for the other to make a move.

What does the dragon do?
>>
>>46282685
Raise front paws to signify friendship.

Hopefully we didn't catch a poacher.
>>
>>46282713
This, I guess. Try not to look threatening, not that that'll be hard to accomplish. We're still the size of a small dog, sharp teeth and shit notwithstanding.
>>
>>46282685
Act cutesy. If that doesn't work, bite the knife and fly away with it.
>>
>>46282685
Bring him a rabbit. Gotta give him a gift
>>
>>46282685

>not elf

This is going horribly. Seconding this: >>46282713

If it attacks, roast it...or at least blow smoke in its face.
>>
>>46282713
If we do this, we should maybe back up a bit, in case we need to bolt.
>>
>>46282748

This is fine too...almost, but we are the ones building a civ, not looking to be someone's lapdog, so on second thought, no, let's just waive. I am: >>46282751
>>
>>46282685
Speak to him.
>inb4 we only speak Draconic
>>
>>46282755

I don't think so. Let's not look like a complete bitch.
>>
>>46282755
Alright ill follow the norm...but we better back up. Don't know if he's hostile...he also might not be alone
>>
What does the dragon do?

You lower your head, as you sniff the ground; almost as if you are not interested in the boy what so ever. Slowly, the boy removes his hand from the handle of his knife, and slowly approach the hatchling. As the boy extends his hand to touch him, the dragon...

A. Allows him to pet him, after all, I am rather awesome.
B. Growls, the boy needs to respect my space, especially while in front of a superior race such as ours.
C. Lick the hand with your snake like tongue, perhaps I’ll be feed?
D. Run away, we can’t trust a dangerous foe.
>>
>>46282888
>A

We need the boy to trust us...also we aren't exactly big and powerful...
>>
>>46282888
B.

This Eragon bitch isn't gonna walk all over us. Act tsundere for maximum effect OP
>>
>>46282888
Allow him to do the pat pat, but make a show of power afterward, like killing a nearby rabbit or something brutally enough for him to get the message that we could have killed him if we wanted.
>>
>>46282888

Yo, the way this works is that you follow the consensus of what the players decided, but I guess I will forgive you seeing as how you got trips and all. But theoretically, for future reference.

Anyway.

E. Extend your front paw toward his hand.
>>
>>46282936
This and then
The brutal killing thing as said by>>46282928
>>
>>46282963

This works. THEN we can bring the rabbit to the boy. It's like "I am a straight up thug G drigga, but you mah nigga now."
>>
>>46282928
>>46282936
This sound good. Be friendly but show him we're not a pushover.
>>
>>46282888
>B
You are a Dragon, superior to all. But don't growl to harshly, we don't want to scare him off.
>>
Might have to call it a night. is there a way to save this thread's log for later?
