Welcome back to WrestleQuest! This is a SOL Quest in which you take the role of young Robin Winters, as he tries to make it big in the crazy world of pro-wrestling under the persona of The Ace.

Last thread, you said a really dumb thing, and now your girlfriend doesn't want to talk to you.

>Player Question
Who's heart will The Ace break next?

>TUESDAY, APRIL 5th 2016

Last night was not a good one. On the one hand, your career is advancing, as you're now another step closer in getting your rematch with Kassius and becoming the TWA champion. On the other hand, your personal life is pretty much in shambles, after a comment you made got back to both your girlfriend and your ex, pretty much shattering your relationship with both of them. Eighteen years old, and despite your best intentions you've somehow managed to break the hearts of two different women in the span of a month. You're not exactly cut out for this whole relationship thing. You can't shake the image of Kimberly's face when everything that went down in the bar, or the words that Omega spoke to you afterwards. "For a second there, you sounded just like me." A chilling thought, and one you definitely don't want to dwell on.
>>
You pull yourself out of bed the next morning, and find two messages left on your cellphone. You have to look away as you open them, dreading what's coming next.

>From: Kimberly
>Jenny gave me a place to stay last night. She'll be around later to pick up my stuff. I can't even bring myself to look at you right now. I trusted you, Robin. I don't think I can ever forgive you for this.

>From: Danny
>Dude, I'm really sorry about telling Kimberly what you said, but I couldn't keep something like that bottled up. Besides, I thought that since you couldn't bring yourself to say it to her, then maybe it would be better for everyone if I gave her the message in your place. I don't know, it was dumb. I just hope you aren't pissed with me.

You lie back, unsure of how to proceed with the day. Perhaps it's better to put all of this on the back-burner for now and focus on other things.

>Go to the Gym

You decide that there's really only one thing for it. No amount of talking is going to smooth over your troubles so soon. The best thing to do right now is to put it out of your mind, focus on training. After all, you want to look good for your next big match. Adam Black is one of the absolute finest performers on the independent circuit, and you don't want to look like a chump next to him.

You arrive at the gym, bag in hand, ready to throw yourself into your work. But what to focus on?

There's nothing better to clear the head than a good run. By focusing on running the treadmills in the gym, you're really getting the best of both worlds. You run, and you keep running until your legs and heart can't take it any more. Sweating profusely, you grab your gym bag, get changed, and leave the gym for the day.

As you leave the gym, your phone rings. Fearing the worst, you check the caller ID... it's Patty. Possibly the first time you've ever been relieved that Patty was calling you.

"Hello?"

"Yo Ace! I'm at the mall for this autograph thingy? You joining me or what?"

You shake your head, confused. "You want me to come along?"

"Sure, why not? I could use a normal person to talk to while I wade through the cheeto-stained masses! Besides, being seen with a bonafide UPW star will only boost your career, and I figured you might want something to do to take your mind off of-Uh, anyway... Come along and you might even earn yourself an autograph from the one and only Patty Perez!"

>Sure, I'll meet you there.

>>
>>46331386
Hell no! She is the last seemingly decent female left for us... for now...

Any how we can just talk all of relationship shit and locker room leader stuff over with her. If nothing else vocalising helps with most peoples thought processes.
>>
>>46331386
Maaaan this is bullshit. No one ever lets robin explain himself. The solution to every character so far has been to run away crying and pretend that Robin is always the bad guy and he doesn't have his own reasons for the things he does. I'm gonna try to keep us waifu free for at least a month in game.
>>
>>46331476

I actually kind of agree with the last part of your post - we should swear off romance for a little bit and work on rebuilding our friendships and work relationships. We confronted our fuckups in a pretty raw way immediately after seeing Omega with his ex-wife, it makes sense Robin might be kind of spooked about everything that happened.
>>
>>46331531
I actually now just thought of a way to get back together with Kimberly or at the very least fix our relationship with her.
>>
>>46331476
This, hell i am the anon that wrote the, incorrectly posted for some reason unknown, write-in that made Danny tell Kimberly all that shit.

Sadly i couldn't stick around to write something to explain ourselves to her when she confronted us, as i had been busy, but i can do so this time assuming i don't miss the vote/explanation.

Hell we just need to explain that while we loved both of them and that we knew that of the two that Kimberly was more, not obsessed but, focussed on a relationship with us. Meaning us saying no would have destroyed her while Abby might have been able to deal with it.

We need to make Abby understand we decided to go with Kimberly because she needed us and because we thought that Abby could handle it.

We need to explain to Kimberly that although we love her, very much so in fact, that we knew that she needed to be with us more, as far as we could see. That we love her and agreed to date her because we knew she needed it.

Something like that maybe... fuck i messed up didn't i in the first place? Can't blame Danny, nice guy he is for telling her...

...Alternatively we go homo-sex and never have to deal with this much drama again...
>>
>>46331673
1. We never loved Abby. We just dated her. 2. Never tell a woman or her friends how needy you think she is. 3. We only really need to talk to Kim for this thing with Abbey to be fixed. Girls are weird like that.
Let's just ask Jenny her address so we can confront Kim.
>>
>>46331792
Or we just blame that sleepy fuck.
>>
Sorry for the delay, had some internet troubles. Writing now.
>>
>>46331830
We can't blame voices in our head or we go to a mental institution.
>>
>>46331792
1. This is a quest, we "love" someone until the number of voters for something changes or someone same-fags to hell, not making an accusation just saying.

2. At no point did i say needy, i am implying we need to make her understand that we knew she would be more so hurt by our rejection.

(i assume you are talking about Kimberly?)

3. I don't know about that, as in the last thread she said we were "horrible". We need to clear up our mistake with more or less everyone, no matter if we feel it is needed or not.

4. No comment about the homo-sex option, really?
>>
>>46331866
It wouldn't really cause any less drama. Men can be just as bitchy and hormonal as women.
>>
>>46331866

We were pretty horrible, and no amount of talking is going to fix things with a girl who found out we've been calling her a needy wreck behind her back.
>>
>>46331866
>No comment about the homo-sex option, really?
/TG will never be gay unless they're playing a female character. It's a fact of life my dude.

>LATER

You find Patty hanging outside of the mall, leaning against the building's wall in a tan brown coat that is far too big for her. She waves you over the second she notices you and the two of you walk inside.

"Ugh, I am not looking forward to this..." Patty mutters, burying her face into her zipped up coat.

"Do you really hate fans that much?" you ask.

"Nah, most of my fans are great!" Patty explains, "Some of them, the kind that come to these sort of things, though... well, they can get pretty creepy. You see, I'm an attractive girl. I'm not humble, but I'm also not exactly a supermodel. My look is what UPW's marketing refer to as... attainable." She makes sure to use air-quotes on the last word. "Most of the people who come to these things are too intimidated to even speak to the more conventionally attractive women, but I'm marketed in a way that those guys think they have a shot with me. So they flirt... a lot. And they are really bad at it. Not the most fun experience you can have, trust me."

>Oh come on, I'm sure it's not that bad.

>>

Honestly, considering the confrontational speech from the bar, she seems to think we don't love her and dated her to stop her being upset/being a bitch.

>>46331898
I know but still, we can double our potential partners by allowing gay options. That at least means a far better chance of not being alone and sad when we are Omegas age.
>>
>>46331984
True but TG playing a gay or even BI male? Not really going to happen.
>>
>>46331952
>Ouch, this is going to be painful, isn't it?

>>
>>46331998
I will break that track record, even if it takes me 100 quests (approximately 3 1/2 months of quests and one shots), to do so
>>
>>46331998
Why does /tg never play a straight woman or a gay male? This has honestly driven me crazy. There are a lot of quest with great male characters and people only ever focus on the women. "No homo"
>>
>>46332059
The vast majority of people aren't gay so it isn't suprising
>>
>>46332042
Hahaha go for it mate or make your own.

>>46332059
I have no clue. It would be nice to see a Bi character who hooked up with BOTH sexes instead of just one and saying they are Bi to justify being in a gay relationship.
>>
>>46332059
Cause they dislike cocks, except on healers, traps, trap healers, healer traps and more or less anything else except when they are questing for some reason. Writing some-what self-insert greentext of slutty gay healers, sure but never in a quest. surprising since how many people on /tg/ go to /d/ that we don't get gay males all the time
>>
>>46332093
They're have qualms against being gay if they're playing as a woman though. They make absolutely 0 attempt to go for a man. Game starts with a female protagonist "Time to eat some pussy." Everytime. With out fail.
the vast majority also can't get a girlfriend
>>46332139
I never see traps in quests... Like ever.
>>
>>46332203
I meant to say zero qualms
>>
>>46332203
And we never will, chances are there have been attempts which mods banned or didn't gain traction. Though i see no reason why we can't be the first!

>Ouch, this is going to be painful, isn't it?

Patty nodded her head. "Yep, and you get to watch it unfold! Real talk, I just wanted you to come along so you could see how big of a favour this is. I don't even care about any of your problems!"

You laugh. "How considerate of you."

The two of you get set up inside the hobby store, with Patty sitting at a small table filled with various pieces of her merchandise, while you stand behind her with your arms folded.

She holds up one of her t-shirts, a neon purple one with the words "Patty Perez, Modern Hero" emblazoned across it. "Wow, this is so ugly," she said to herself. "I don't know why anyone would buy these, let alone wear them in public." Her attention is soon caught by the gathering crowd of fans. "Oh god, here they come... one of them is actually wearing a fedora... kill me, please."

First in line is a rotund man in an XXL sized Johnny Mercer t-shirt. He approaches Patty with a DVD copy of one of her earliest shows, for an all-women's Canadian federation by the name of SPARKLE. The Patty you see on the cover throws you off, as she has much longer hair tied in a bun, and a very eager smile on her face. You'd find it hard to believe that the peppy young girl you see on the case is the same woman in front of you, with only about 6 years between them.

"Long-time fan, it's a real pleasure to meet you, M'Lady." Even from where you're standing, you are repulsed by the stench of his breath. The fan catches wind of you, and decides to ask. "Uhh, who's that? Store security? He's not really dressed for it."

A lightbulb goes off in the brain of Patty. "Actually... this is my boyfriend. He's a wrestler himself! A very good one, too!"

The fans stares at you and laughs. "I never read anything about THIS on the news-sites! Is this true?"

>Yeah, it is.

Patty lets out a playful laugh. "Aww, I hoped he would play along. Yeah, truth is he's not a good wrestler at all!"

The fan snorts, and brushes his extremely lengthy and greasy hair away to reveal an acne-riddled face. "So, does that mean you're... uhh, single?"

Patty shrugs. "Nah, I'm actually dating a spinal surgeon."

She signs the dvd and the nerd walks away, somewhat dejected, but happy with the autograph. Almost every interaction plays out the exact same. You begin to see how repetitive autograph signings and fan meets can become, and you make note to watch out for that whenever the day comes that you'll be hosting some yourself... if that day ever comes.

After a long day, the store owner thanks you and Patty for your time, and the two of you go to the food court to grab a bite to eat before the mall closes. Patty decided to take some of her merchandise with her, and is staring deep into the cover of an old SPARKLE DVD with her on the cover. "Maybe I should grow my hair back out... times sure have changed since my indie days. Listen to me, talking like Omega. I'm only 25! These last six years have aged me pretty badly... I look so... happy in this picture. So... excited."

Patty shakes her head. "I don't know... things end up changing so gradually you never even notice when the change starts. And it's not that I don't love wrestling... I love it just as much as I always did, maybe more. I'm just not as eager to show it these days. I guess hanging out with someone as bitter as the old fart will do that to you."

Trying to deflect, she starts to ask you a question. "So, did you enjoy the autograph signing?"

"It was definitely... an experience," you reply.

Patty laughs. "Yeah, the first signing I did I wondered how any of those people could exist. I'm pretty sure one of them was made up of at least 80% Mountain Dew. Anyway, I hope today proved a good distraction from your problems."

You don't answer, and Patty smacks herself on the head. "Well, if it did, I completely undid it by bringing them up, didn't I? Great going, Patty..."

She looks at the ground, feeling quite foolish, before deciding to ask. "You know, if you still want to take your mind off things... I know someplace we could go."

You perk your head up. "Where?"

"There's a fairground by the pier, last I checked. Nobody's ever had a bad time at a fairground."

>You know, that does sound like fun.

The two of you arrive at the fairground shortly after the sun sets. You leave a message for David letting him know of Jenny's arrival for Kimberly's belongings, when Patty pulls you by the arm. "Hey look, it's one of those strength thingies!" She drags you towards one of the 'Test your Strength' displays and eagerly hands you the hammer. "Come on, give it a shot! As you take the hammer, you playfully flex your muscles and cut a mini-promo before holding the hammer over your head, and bringing it down. The puck shoots up and reaches all the way to... about three quarters up the tower, before slinking back down again.

Patty laughs. "That's the best you've got? Pathetic! The trick is to imagine the puck is Kassius Orwin's face."

Patty drags you away from the high-striker. "What, aren't you going to try it?" you tease.

"And put you to shame? No way! I don't think you could survive the embarrassment. Besides, all these games are rigged. You're a wrestler, you should know all about carnie culture. The whole business started out in fairgrounds just like this one." She outstretches her arms, taking in the entire sight of the fair. "Pretty cool how far we've come."

"You're enjoying this."

Patty laughed. "My mom used to take me to stuff like this all the time when I was a kid. I didn't have any friends, so I would spend hours on end riding on the carousel by myself. It was great."

"That sounds... really sad," you reply.

"In hindsight, yeah... but not back then. When you're a kid, you always find a way to fill that sadness. The fairground was it for me... maybe it could do it for you, now that you're one of us."

"One of... what?" you tilt your head, confused.

Patty shrugs. "Yeah, I guess not... but that's kinda where you stand with people now. There's nothing you can do about it. To them, you're a villain. Not a fun truth, but you can't let that get to you. You're just going to have to wide a wave of negativity for a while, and as long as your intentions are good, you'll get yourself out of this hole. And unlike me or Omega, you do have good intentions. Besides-OH MY GOD, LOOK!"

Patty lets out an uncharacteristically giddy squeal as she gestures towards a carousel. "Come on, let's ride on it!"

"Really? But-"

"-Let me relive my childhood, dammit!" She grabs you by the hand and pulls you towards the carousel. "Trust me, you don't know how great these things can be. This right here will be the cure to all your problems!"

Somehow, you doubt that. But you don't bother arguing.

"What? Oh! Yeah, I just realized how that would be weird... I kinda got caught up in the excitement because carousels are awesome." Patty hops up, struggling to climb the white horse due to her height. "I'm calling this one. Find your own!"

You hop on a brown horse directly behind hers, and you sit bored for a moment and sigh before the ride starts. You jump slightly as you feel the first jolt of the ride starting up, and you slowly but surely begin to pick up speed from there. Not exactly the most thrilling of fair rides, but it is pretty relaxing. Maybe Patty is right, maybe something like this is exactly what you need to clear your head and-

"You're horrible."

-Nope. Forget about that. Forget about all those negative thoughts. Just clear your head and-

"That's pretty shitty, dude..."

"Don't call me princess!"

NO. Just push all of those voices out and focus on-

"You're one of us."

"One of the bad guys."

You feel dizzy, as the fairground becomes a blur. Come on Robin, just take your mind off of it for five minutes-

"I gotta say Ace, that was pretty impressive. For a second there, you sounded just like me."

"For a second there, you sounded just like me."

"Just like me."

"JUST LIKE ME."

The ride stops, and you run off. Your head is spinning, and you feel like you're going to be sick. You lean against a nearby tent and start breathing heavily, as Patty approaches you with a worried look on her face.

"Huh, I guess that didn't help. You okay?"

>I'm fine.

>Am..am I like Omega?

Patty placed a hand on your shoulder. With you leaning, you're now at eye level with her. "Oh geez... How should I put this..." she mutters. "I'm not going to lie to you, pal. You are. It's actually scares me how much you remind me of that guy. I mean, it should be expected. You were trained by Omega, you grew up watching and idolising Omega, you've based your whole live around the guy... so yeah, you and he have a few things in common. But that doesn't mean anything!"

Patty sighs, trying to think of something comforting to say. "Look Omega's an asshole. I like the guy, but we all know it's true. He ended up how he is because of some very, very shitty decisions on his part... and hey, you aren't immune to making mistakes either. What happened with your girlfriend and... that other girl, I assume she's an ex? I don't know, whatever happened with was clearly before I got here and no one seems willing to explain it to-getting off track, sorry. There's one key difference between you and the old fart. He's the way he is because... he doesn't believe in people anymore. Not like you. You believe in everyone... maybe a little too much, but it's part of your charm! Hell, you even believe in that dumb fucker! You even believe in me!"

She pushes your chin up with her finger as you glimpse deep into her hazel brown eyes. "You may be like him... but you're a better version! A good version! You aren't going to end up like him... because I believe in you."

>Thanks for the pep-talk Patty. It means a lot.
>That's where you're wrong. I don't believe in people.

>Thanks for the pep-talk Patty. It means a lot.

Patty gives a small smile. "Yeah, well don't be surprised. I can give inspirational speeches too! I'm a natural born leader!" She laughs as she boast, taking attention away from her good deed.

"Yeah, and I suppose you picked that up in promo class?" you ask.

"Nah, Saturday Morning Cartoons," Patty jokes.

You regain your composure, standing upright once more. "You really think I'm a good guy?"

"Yeah! Well, you're a pretty good guy. I think you and everyone else are expecting too much out of you, and it's causing you to slip up. You aren't Superman. You aren't Captain America. You're Spider-Man! You're still young, and even with the best of intention, you can make mistakes. But you still have a good heart, and you're willing to take on even more responsibility than you know what to do with. And with great power yada yada yada... you know the quote."

You laugh. "Wow, and you call other people nerds?"

Patty gives you a punch on the arm. "Shut up, everyone knows those guys! Anyway, I think it's time we called it a night. I don't think I did the best job of helping you out, but... I had fun today. I hope you did too."

To say goodbye, Patty first begins to outstretch her arms in offer of a hug, before stopping herself. Instead, she thinks it better to offer a simple handshake instead.

>Give her a hug.

You gently push Patty's hand aside and pull her in for a hug. Patty is taken aback at first, but soon reciprocates the hug, wrapping her arms around you and squeezing tight. "Wow, I can't even remember the last time I... I..."

Patty's eyes widen, as she pulls away from you and her face turns red. "Uh, I'm flattered... but it just wouldn't work out! There's the fact that I'm leaving in a few days, the fact that I have the hots for the guy that trained you which is all kinds of creepy, the fact that you clearly don't have the best track record with women-"

"Patty, it was just a hug," you reassure her. "It's a thing friends do."

Embarrassed, Patty plants her face in her hand. "Oh. Yeah... okay, that makes sense. Fuck, what does it say about me that I see someone treat me nice, and I immediately read it the wrong way. Gah, this is dumb..." She laughs and shakes it off. "Anyway, I'll... see you around, Ace."

>LATER

You arrive back to your apartment, where David is waiting on the couch.

"Where were you all day?" David asks, but with his deadpan tone, you can't tell if he's actually curious or not.

"I had to take my mind off of things," you simply reply. "Did Jenny come around."

"Yeah, she grabbed a box of the Princess' stuff and left without saying a word." David turns to look at you. "You messed up."

"I know," you reply, deflated.

"Maybe you should take a break from romance for a while," David suggests. "You're really bad at it. No more falling for women and having them fall for you."

>You're right. It's clearly not for me.

>You're right. It's clearly not for me.

"I'm glad you think so," David replies, "I was worried I might have to slap some sense into you."

You retire to your room for the night, and you check your phone shortly before climbing into bed. You receive another apology text from Danny. He's sent a few during the day, but you can yet bring yourself to reply to him. There's also another text from Patty.

>From: Patty
>Hey, I know I got pretty weird at the end there, but I had fun today. We should hang out again soon before I leave for UPW.

Your phone starts buzzing in your hand, and you see you're being called by Adam Black. Strange, he's never contacted you before, despite having your number. Maybe he wants to go over some things for your match on Friday. You take the call and press the phone to your ear.

"Hello?"

"Okay, sunshine. Tomorrow you and I are going to have a little meeting," the British Wrestler doesn't sound pleased in the slightest.

"Okay... about what?"

"About what?" the voice on the end yells incredulously. "About how you're tearing the entire bloody locker room apart!"

Now that Robin is taking some time out from waifus, I think it's time to focus on the important things. Who best bro?

And as always, I'll likely stick around to answer any questions or engage in discussion in the thread! Enjoy!
>>
>>46338514
David. Been best bro since day 1.
>>
>>46338325
and thus we become "Oh, him? Yeah, he's a a hell of a wrestler, but he's fucking toxic backstage"

>>46338514
It's probably David. Danny kind of sabotaged us, and every one else is either Omega, king dickhole, or someone we don't really know.
>>
>>46338514
What did ya think of the sexual debate about mc in the middle of the quest?
>>
>>46338514
>Who best bro?

Patty, lately.
>>
>>46338726
I wasn't paying much attention to it because I was focused on votes and writing up the next post, but I was a little tickled. I don't think I've ever been in a quest where players don't eventually bring up the "Why don't we go gay?" option, but it never gains enough support from players unless the MC is a girl. While I agree that there should be a successful thread with a gay guy MC, it's probably far too late for this to be that thread.

Besides, there's only one other gay guy introduced in the game so far, and Robin's barely interacted with him.
>>
>>46338958
Angelo.
>>
>>46338982
Nah, Angelo tried to kiss Jenny, remember?
>>
>>46338958
Kassius. He's trying to bluster around that he ain't gay.
>>
>>46338982
>>46339035

It's actually Miles, his sexuality has been mentioned off-hand a few times.

But now I intend to write Kassius as being fully Tsundere for Robin.
>>
>>46338514
Booker, sincerely curious, is your way of writing romance in the quests a subtle way of pushing anons away from waifu-crowning?

Like you will burn anon until anon refuses to waifu anyone until she passes the maze of trial and proves her worth?
>>
I don't know about anyone else, but my vote is for finding another shitty little American or British fed to sign us and disappearing into the night, telling no one and leaving a note that sounds just a little too much like a suicide note. Throw in some stuff about "Not being able to bear the fact that we keep hurting the people we care about the most" and "maybe I'll see you in a better place than this"
>>
>>46339093
Hahaha. I know you'r joking, right?, but I can't breath.
>>
>>46339113
I think it's more that Booker writes the waifus like actual people, instead of things that just always bend to the MC's wants.
>>
>>46339113

This being a slice of life quest (and a quest on /tg/ in general) I knew romance was going to be a big part of it, so I didn't shy away from throwing it in there early on. I have no problems with anons choosing a waifu, though I've said before that this is a long quest and locking on to one girl at this point is very premature, but at the same time the girls in this Quest aren't primarily love interests. They're supposed to be characters in their own right.

This isn't a harem anime where all the girls are constantly orbiting the MC's dick. Before I write up any post, I look at the decision made and ask myself, "How would this character react to that?" If it's a negative reaction, I'm not going to shy away from writing it as such, because that's what makes sense for the character.
>>
>>46339126
I'm actually reconsidering this. We's also need to change everything but our face. New name, new phone number, new gimmick, but still with a mask, and we never go anywhere outside without the mask. We show up to and leave the Fed with our mask on, and don't remove it until we're home. Make a name for ourself as the guy who's always in character, and only go back when we've proved that we can interact with people without upsetting/hurting them.
>>
>>46339395
I really appreciate that, Booker. Way too many quests on /tg/ end up just becoming a circle jerk as every female character the MC meets is instantly in love with them and doesn't care what they say or do.
>>
>>46339469
>You pull this off

So, since Robin's taking a break from finding best girl, and you've agreed on best bro, time to rank the characters on random bullshit!

Crockett, a mix between Vince McMahon and Jim Crockett, the promoter of JCP, the company that would become WCW.

But seriously

Who coolest?
David, nice guy, bit of a badass
Who funniest?
Danny is pretty funny when he isn't being a backstabbing dickhole
Who nicest?
Probably Abby when she's not cowering in a corner from a 2 year-old saying no too loudly
Who cutest?
Kim
Who most Tsundere?
Jenny, badass bitch/cat loving sweety
Who most Yandere?
Unknown Raven Haired Buisness card lady, mostly because no one else really fits the bill. Maybe Kim
Who Most likely to succeed?
Still probably Robin, of NPC's, Adam Black or Danny
Who Best?
Best? They're all great in different ways, but probably the best character would be Jenny

As said by the Alucard
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k7h_h3DR_xs
>>
>>46340740
Unpopular opinion probably, but I think it's a pretty good card considering how many people are out on injury.

>Dean vs. Brock is going to be pretty brutal.
>Styles vs. Jericho at Mania is a match I've pined for since 2004.
>Shane vs. Undertaker will be an experience for better or worse
>Sasha/Becky/Charlotte should be decent, and Flair will be there
>I actually like Roman a decent amount, despite his horrible booking. I've never been a HHH fan, but the match itself should hopefully be decent and not a boring shitshow like his mania match with Orton.

Either way, I watch Wrestlemania with a gathering of friends and a few beers, so I always have fun watching it. Even the bad ones.
>>
>>46340861
Honestly, everything except the main event for Wrestlemania I think'll be exceptional. Roman's booking's pretty shit, and he's clearly going over, but the match will almost certainly still be good, and everything else on the card looks like it'll be great.
>>
>>46340861
Roman has a shitload of potential if they'd stop trying to make him give big speeches and cut promos. Just let him be a badass who is few of words, and leave the talking to people who are better suited for it
>>
>>46341012
While I think that's good for some, a silent badass is never going to be a top guy for a company like WWE, they need their top guy to be able to talk, and Roman just isn't charismatic enough for it.
>>
>>46341033
I never said that he needs to be a top guy, but he has lots of potential to be good
>>
>>46340418

Ah, thanks.
>>
>>46341033
Yeah, Silent badasses aren't a character WWE tends to go with. Other companies have had that guy on top before (See WCW with Goldberg) but in WWE everyone in the main event is given an unreasonable amount of promo time.

Even Batista talked a lot when he didn't need to. Brock Lesnar was given a mouthpiece. Talking is 90% of a WWE Main Eventer's job.

Roman's in a difficult place where he's a good performer with a great look, but his promo skills aren't great and the type of character he's good at playing doesn't match up well with the way WWE presents their top guys.
>>
>>46340861
Quite honestly I think everyone else needs to get their shit together. We said things that were hurtful, that could be considered cruel. But come on, let us explain ourselves before you run off and paint us as a monster. This all started because Kim sprung that news on us when we were concussed. What were we supposed to do? Just let one of our closest friends shatter? Even in our disoriented state we knew that, yet every time we try to explain why we said something they just run off and make the entire situation worse.
>>
Actually, Booker, I'm curious.

>>46341512

>>
>>46341528

You're over as a face in TWA ever since your match with Kassius. As TWA shows aren't recorded, you aren't known anywhere outside of the local area, however.

>Danny wants your forgiveness for going behind your back, thinks of you as his bestie
>Kevin thinks of you as a son, for better or worse

>Abby is very disappointed in you.
>Jenny is disappointed too, but overall she thinks you're a pretty decent guy
>Kassius hates you, because he's Kassius and Kassius gonna Kassius
>Steinberg thinks you are money
>Owen had faith in you when he left, but he's a very trusting guy. Has faith in everyone. To call back to Patty's speech, Owen IS Captain America
>Adam is displeased with you. More on that in the next thread.
