Agents. As of our operation last night, VIP HedgeHog is secure. Unfortunately in the process we lost Agent Bees.

I know you'd all rather be out drinking right now, but this is a time critical matter. Agent Bees stumbling, adrenaline fueled escape attempt was noticed by the White Moon Acquisition Squad and they were captured. Before their vitals flatlined completely, Liren was able to track the White Moon cell to a small abandoned estate located some distance from Seniral Prime.

Local City officials have given us the go-ahead to hit that Estate with everything we have. If it is a major White Moon training facility, we've lucked out. And if it isn't, at least we'll get revenge for Agent Bees.

Reactive Feedback Defenses - if you fail your attempt at either subverting the node or controlling it, you take dots = damage. It's a form of automatic defense.

Luckily you can only take that sort of feedback once for a failed attempt, so multi-failures don't cascade and fry your brain. For that sort of stuff you need to watch out for Black Dots.

Take it with my compliments. The Chironan wanted us to field-test their new design. It's based on some sort of widget they've found out at the The Dig.

I spent most of yesterday reading through the articles on the InfoGrid and at best I can figure it's some sort of localized ionized plasma containment device? The word magnetosphere came up a lot. As did "volatile reaction".

Normally it fires bulletes, and the bullets auto-correct their flight-path based on the last hit. So your damage stacks. You can shoot straight through walls with that thing.

Yeah, fortified defenses are nasty. Luckily once you strip the standard EW defenses, they don't restore unless an enemy EW specialist starts playing with the network or it's a reactive network.

These look purely dumb though, so you're good. Take it at your leisure.

As for the turrets, they have a 360 degree arc of fire and fire standard anti-infantry rounds at about two-thousand or so a minute. They seem to be off the shelf version cobbled together from junkyard tech, so I'd expect them to overheat with continued fire - and they aren't smart enough to do anything but rudimentary friend or foe recognition.

I'd suggesting getting them out of the way as quickly as possible though, or switching their FoF recognition to our data. They'll pour a lot of fire down-range if left unchecked.

Unfortunately, the White Moon managed to scupper most of the facility data before we could get ahold of it.

But it's not a complete loss.We can analyze the data fragments embedded in the drone controllers and the camera systems, and arrive at a reasonable guess as to why they're being supplied with such high end gear.

I think most Mist-cleared operatives think their pay-increase is the ability to blow up a house by waving their fingers.

They do get better dental though. Apparently the Resonance Modular does something weird to your teeth?

If you sign up for the Mist Programme, you get to keep your Stat Point, but you /don't/ get to keep your Haze3 Skill Suite. We simply can't fit in as much gear with the Resonance Module.

And yes, you can use your stat point to increase your baseline to Res 1.
