You are Adrian Brown, a twenty five year-old third-year medical student living an otherwise normal American life in search of employment. That was until you woke up inside a derelict and demon-infested hospital with four other victims of short-term memory loss. Together, the five of you managed to somehow survive by negotiating with demons and defeating those that were not so amicable. And upon escaping, the all of you realized that it wasn’t as simple as that.

Task Force 666 a multinational organization dedicated to combating hostile demons and those that would use them for ill intentions. And the hellhole you just went through? That was your ‘job interview’, one that you passed with flying colors. When properly offered employment as an agent among the ranks, you accepted without too much hesitation or second thoughts. Duty to humanity and whatnot.

You are now a Devil Summoner in the service of the Task Force, and the de-facto leader of East Coast Operations Rookie Team Three. It is your duty to protect mankind from all threats involving the demonic, but how you choose to carry out your orders is entirely up to you. The choices you make shall not only affect those around you, but the fate of the entire world itself…

[11:48 PM, Monday June 29th 2015]

Much like your mother on a Sunday morning, MacKay has the ability to drive his car as fast and reckless as he can without any risk of colliding into incoming vehicles or veering off the road. Not that those were any viable threats at the moment. As far as you can see, there’s no incoming traffic on the other lane, and the road’s completely devoid of sharp turns.

Thank the gods for small mercies. And for a priest that has driving skills straight out of ‘Grand Theft Auto’.

“I ain’t sure what’s chasin’ us, Sawbones,” Fitz growls as she slams a magazine into her gun and slides a round into the chamber. Standard bullets just to test the waters, apparently. “

Brady pales. “Please don’t tell me you want to let it get close for you to find out which of the two it is…”

“Pft. Yeah right. I’ll take my chances by shooting at them in the middle of the fucking night.”

She’s right. On this stretch of the highway, the only light sources were the high beams on the Cadillac, and the moon high above your heads. Well, those and the two beams of light coming behind you in the distance. A car.

Well shit. Human aggressors. And if that needle in the door was any indication, human aggressors with access to demons, and their magic.

Just great.

“So what’s the plan?” MacKay violently jerks the wheel to avoid what suspiciously looked like a bolt of lightning that comes racing from behind you. The hair on your arm stands up as your face goes into Fitz’s elbow, and her head goes into Brady’s ribs. “I’m all ears at this point, Adrian.”

As soon as your face stops hurting and you remove yourself from Fitz's elbow, you say: “First of all, warn us next time you do that. As for the plan itself…”

“We gotta take them out before they take us. Like you said earlier, it’s either us or them, and they did attack us first.”

Victoria tilts her head in confusion. “Does self-defense apply to car chases in this scenario?”

“It does now. If you’ve got a demon that can fly and keep up with the car, bring ‘em out.”

Rolling down the window just enough to stick the screen through the opening, you summon your demons with a single command. High Pixie and Gryphon materialize in the air, wings already beating to keep up with MacKay’s…holy shit. Seventy miles per hour.

High Pixie gives up and grabs a handful of tuft on Gryphon’s back. It doesn’t seem to mind, keeping a sharp eye on you as she finds a comfortable position to seat herself at.

One of MacKay’s hands move away from the steering wheel to punch commands into his COMP. The demure figure of Hua Po appears soon after, greeting you all with a humble bow and a wordless sound of greeting.

“Stay with them,” The priest says, gesturing to Gryphon and High Pixie with a jerk of his head. “They’ll keep you safe, understand?”

“Yes, sir!”

You relay your orders. “High Pixie, hit them with a lightning spell. As soon as she’s finished, Gryphon’s gonna hit them with a Lunge.”

“Yes, master!/RAWK!”

MacKay shouts, “Use Agi as soon as they’re finished with their combo!”
The Chinese fire demon nods, and grabs onto Gryphon tightly. As soon as they’re done, Gryphon breaks away from the side of the car and maneuvers to a height for High Pixie to fire from.

You tap Fitz’s thigh, and she turns to you with a glowering expression. “Think you can provide covering fire?”

She smirks. “That can be arranged. Be ready to switch to those…magic bullets that lady gave us back in the D.C. base. I’ve been itchin’ to try those out ever since we got them…”

You roll your eyes at her enthusiasm as Victoria opens the sunroof. Not even five inches open, and a hellish wind envelops all of you, sending errant scraps of paper and garbage flying as the car barrels down the highway. Fitz detatches her seatbelt, moves fluidly between you and Brady, and positions herself at a firing position.

Even with all the crap in the trunk of the car, you can make out a distinct shape coming from behind you, at least fifty feet away. Some kind of heavy duty truck, a Jeep or pick up maybe. You can’t tell for sure since the fucker has his high-beams up, but what you can say is that this isn’t gonna be easy. Not by a long shot.

“Chew on this, motherfucker!” Fitz shouts as she opens fire.

Just as she starts firing, the muffled cry of “Zio!” preludes the bolt of lightning that comes racing out from Pixie’s fingertips.

The bolt of lightning strikes the car in the distance, not really doing any overt surface damage aside from a loud “BOOM”. But that isn’t what’s got your attention. Electricity arcs along the surface of the car in tiny blue tendrils, and all of a sudden, the car lurches to the side violently not unlike a drunkard behind the wheel.

>>46681276

But it doesn’t last. The car rights itself before it can go careening into a nearby ditch, and continues pressing on behind you. The only sign that it even took the hit was the fact that their pace is marred by the occasional tremor and sudden jerk of the car’s front.

You’re conflicted. On one hand, you knew that humans siding with demons was an inevitability you were going to have to face as an agent of the Task Force. On the other hand, the back of your mind is relived that they didn’t get hurt.

Killing demons is one thing, but killing other humans...

By no means are you a pacifist in any way, shape or form. The saying is that 'it gets easier' is something that you're not looking forward to applying when it comes to the killing of your fellow human beings.

But you quickly shove your thoughts to the side as Gryphon goes in for the attack. Even with the cacophony of the rushing wind and sound of Fitz unloading her weapon, you can still hear its piercing cry as his talons tear and claw at the enemy vehicle.

That seemed to have gotten a reaction. From the way the car seems to be moving from side to side, it looks as if the driver was trying to either shake Gryphon off or make a clean get away. Alas, but it doesn’t work.

Your demon continues to press the attack.

You’ve seen Gryphon tear through tree trunks back in Camp Cocytus, and rend through Each-Uisage’s armored flesh like a hot knife through butter. The metal exterior of the car proves to be only a slightly harder surface for its talons to penetrate through. Slightly harder than wood, that is.

Gryphon pulls away, leaving the vehicle’s right side (your left) covered in a series of claw marks and twisted metal. And judging from the way that the enemy’s driving has gotten sloppier, it looks like they took a nasty hit.

And that’s only the tip of the metaphorical iceberg.

Hua Po obeys MacKay’s order, and conjures up a fire ball in her palm. With a cry of “Agi!”, she flings it into the opening that your demon created. She misses only fractionally. Instead of going through the broken window and exploding inside of the car, it instead catches the door frame and then explodes.

>31, 37

The resulting conflagration causes the driver to lose complete control of the vehicle. Swerving wildly and failing to get out of the skid, the car eventually flips over onto its side. It rolls once, twice, three times along the paved country road, sending a shower of sparks as it eventually careens to a violent and abrupt end into the side of the road with a mighty CRASH.

As your demons return to you, you can see the car burning merrily from through the rear window, and through the rear mirrors.

“Bloody fucking hell, mate…”

“…well shit…that happened.”

“Oh my goodness.”

“Lord have mercy…”

“MacKay, turn around.”

The priest turns to you with a baffled look in his eyes. “Wait, what?”
“You heard me. We’re Task Force 666 agents. We, and this mission, aren’t supposed to exist. So when we get attacked by unknowns that are potentially wielding demons and demonic magic, I think we have a duty to check it out for the sake of clarification.”

Fitz makes a noticeable show of edjecting her spent clip and sliding in another magazine. “He’s right. And besides, I’d be pissed as hell if we didn’t scope it out.”

“Isn’t our job to get as fast as we can to the fairy kingdom to clear up Titania’s little problem?” Brady points out. “I mean, we could always call it in and tell the blokes in central HQ about our little clash on the highway. We could be on our merry way, and they’ll come to clean up the mess.”

“I’m fairly sure she won’t mind if we take a detour,” Victoria mutters, firing up the summoning circuits in her COMP. “And this is pretty big. As far as I know, and I did spend some extra time reading the handbook among other things, we’re the only people in America that are supposed to have lawful access to demons.”

With that logic, Brady and MacKay cede to your arguments. The priest turns around and parks a good thirty feet away from the burning wreckage. After popping the back of the trunk, you all scramble to put on Task Force regulation armor. Just in case.

>Standard Task Force Armor increases HP by 3.
>You all have 28 HP.

You still decide to make the call back to D.C., and let the operator on the other end of the line know of the attack you just went through.

“…and that’s what happened,” You say as you help Brady tighten the last strap of his armor on him. “We’re heading off to investigate now.”

The analyst on the other end of the line, a man given the baritone voice, replies, “…okay. Your COMPs are all broadcasting footage here in Situation room #4, and we’ve got an eye in the sky heading your way now. Proceed with extreme caution, Carina Squad.”

“Roger that. Brown, out.”

With that, you pick up your gun and turn to the rest of your crew, and send a wayward glance to the military-duty box sitting in the trunk of the car. Behind the locks and numerous seals that you’ve got the key to unlocking, Queen Titania lies dormant inside a specially crafted storage device made to contain her power. It would almost be funny how such an innocuous looking box would house one of the most powerful demons in America.

You say almost considering how easy it would be to make off with the damn thing if they succeeded in taking you out. Maybe that was what your attackers were after? Kidnapping Titania…that would be a disaster of unmitigated proportions. Wouldn’t do anything to help the tense situation between the Task Force and the Fairy Kingdom.

…shit just got serious.

It goes without saying that you’re not going to leave Her Highness unguarded and all alone by herself. Alger’s rage would have no bounds if you just left her. At least two to stay behind and keep her safe, and two to come with you and scope the wreckage out.

You already know who to leave behind to guard. And besides, you took them with you last time to deal with Brenda’s rampage on the last case. The least you can do is let the others have a go.

“Brady, Victoria, form up on me when I head out,” You order. They nod, and sprint over to stand behind you. “Fitz, MacKay, lock down the area. Keep Queen Titania safe from anyone that even looks suspicious. And if you see any other drivers coming by, tell ‘em to fuck off and say that it’s an issue of national security.”

“…not likely since we’re on a backwards country road,” Brady mutters.
A light nudge to the ribs gets him to keep his mouth shut.

“Gotcha/Got it,” They dutifully repeat back to you, chambering rounds in their weapons and summoning their demons. Four demons and two Devil Summoners stand guard with their full attention to the box and the surrounding environs of the Kentucky countryside.

“We’ll let ya know if anyone gets too close, Sawbones,” Fitz says as you start proceeding towards the wreckage, and you can hear her audibly pump her shotgun. “Can’t guarantee that they’ll be in one piece by the time they get back, though.”

MacKay keeps it simple with a solemn nod. “Stay safe.”

You give Gryphon a nice scratch behind where you think its ears would normally be before sending him back into the COMP. “Good job today. You did really well.”

It makes a trilling noise of approval as the device on your wrist breaks the demon down into a stream of data and whisks him into the internal storage unit. Less than three seconds later, the familiar and unnerving sight of Angel materializes into view, with a flourish of her wings.

Brady and Victoria can’t help but make faces at her arrival. And you can’t blame them. To a certain extent, you still reel in mortification whenever you see her icon on the touch screen. And in-person, you just full-on cringe at her attire.

“You have called for me?” She intones in a melodious voice.

Overcoming your initial reaction and schooling your face into a neutral expression, you nod. “See that fire over there? Think you can put it out?”

“An easy task, my master.”

“Alright. Brady, Victoria. You’ve got demons with ice magic, right? Help her put out the fire.”

>Jack Frost, Tagata Manu and Gremlin aid your demon in putting out the fire.

It doesn’t take too long for the flames to completely vanish, either cut off from the oxygen due to the sudden appearance of the ice or outright extinguished from the runoff created by the melting ice and heat.

There are only a few spots on the vehicle where the fire didn’t leave its mark. Scorching everywhere, and the scent of what you know to be burnt flesh. Brady and Victoria gag at the smell, but you soldier on, gun leveled at the door as you tug it once, twice, three times before it comes off from the frame.

The guy sitting in the driver’s seat is dead, a Caucasian man in his late twenties or early thirties. You aren’t sure due to the burns along his face, but you can make out brown hair and light brown eyes that are disturbingly bloodshot. His mouth is open in a silent scream.

You didn’t need the mortician’s class to tell you of his deceased status. You can see that much given how a shard of glass the size of your forearm is embedded into his skull through his eye socket. The remnants of his clothes, a simple white t-shirt and jeans, indicate nothing other than his preference to shop at cheap retail stores.

The guy riding shotgun, however, is still alive.

Blood runs down his face from a wound in his forehead, apparently keeping his eyes shut tight, and his shallow breathing indicates some kind of trauma to the chest. He blindly gropes at the dashboard, pushing himself off of the airbag to squint blindly in the direction of your position.

“…ngh…what the fuck…is someone…”

Before you address the fucker, you take a quick scan of the car’s interior, just to make sure you didn’t miss anything overt. It’s hard, though. Hua Po’s fireball really did a mess of the whole thing. The seats are a gooey mess, and it doesn’t look like too much made it unscathed…

There. It’s half-stuffed inside of the console compartment and on the threshold of becoming ashes, but you find it nonetheless. From the smell, you guess that it was wrapped in some kind of animal skin, leather probably. And it’s a faint reading, but the magnetite scanner on your COMP is picking it up.

No doubt about it. This is a demon summoning grimore. A crude one, but one that was recently in use, nonetheless.

>You acquired a Burnt Grimore

With that, you turn your attention back to the guy in the shotgun seat. Modulating your voice as rough as you can, you intone, “You fucked up big time, friend. You really fucked up.”

Victoria and Brady’s guns snap towards the man when his arms lunge in your general direction, but you quickly sidestep and raise a hand for them to hold fire. “We’re the ones asking questions here, bucko. So if you don’t mind, I would really like for them to be answered.

“First order of business: who exactly are you, and why did you attack us?”

“Peh…” The man spits out a globule of blood, along with what suspiciously looks like broken teeth. “…give me one good reason I should answer that…”

“Because you’ve got a shattered ribcage that’s probably puncturing your lungs, an injury I can heal if you choose to cooperate with us.”

You leave the implied threat of leaving him to drown in his own blood in the air. The scary part of that is that you’re not even sure whether you’re bluffing or not.

>You acquired a Burnt Grimore
Oh shit. That's some serious bad voodoo, how'd these chucklefucks get it?
>>
>>46683899
Stephen needs to hurry up and blast the DSP across the internet.
>>
>>46683843
However, he seems to get it. “…fine, I’ll talk…ain’t stupid enough to die for this shit…not like this idiot…”

A brief noise in your headset briefly interrupts you. “We’re running a scan on their faces,” the operator back at base informs you. “We’ll let you know who they are as soon as we have a positive I.D.”

“Copy that,” You whisper in a sotto tone of voice before returning your attention to the man.

“Answer the question, mate,” Brady growls. “Who the hell are you, and why’d you attack us?”

“…just a bunch of nobodies with nothing to lose,” He wheezes, “…and the money was good…good enough to chance it all…or so we thought…”

The corner of your mouth twitches in displeasure. On one hand, he didn’t give a name, but the fact that he implied that they were paid to attack you gives you plenty of bad vibes. And enough money to risk attacking a Task Force convoy?

“…we’ll get your name sooner or later,” You press on, “So let’s move onto the next question. Where’d you get the demons? How did you get a hold of this shit?” You punctuate the end of your sentence by dangling the grimore in his face.

The man coughs, and specks of blood spatter lightly across your armor. “…they were a gift…given to make us strong enough…to take what they wanted us to retrieve for them…”

>“Who is ‘they’?”
>“What did ‘they’ want you take?”
>“Where are the demons you summoned?”
>”How do you know of the Task Force?”
>Custom option.

I'd assume a grimore would probably be on a higher level then the DSP-Actually, speaking of Stephen, where is he? You'd think SOMEONE would have mentioned him by now, if he's still the DSP creator in this universe. Wonder what he's up to?

Eh, DSP is super useful. You can store multiple demons, check their data and all kinds of things from a COMP.
And yeah, usually someone mentions a guy in a wheelchair around now. Though, doesn't he only really show up to Protags? Maybe we're not Protag enough.
>>
>>46684072
True, the DSP is remarkably versatile for such a modern invention, even compared to grimores, which have been improved over a long period of time.
I'd say we're pretty Protag, considering we've got the Maiden, Mother, and Crone after us.

Given the way more blood seems to be flowing out of this mouth, you decide to do something before he chokes on his own fluids. “Angel, hit him with a healing spell. Not too-powerful, though. Don’t want him pulling a runner.”

Magical energy gathers in the palm of her hand. “Yes, master.”

>Angel stabilized the enemy.

“ …‘preciate that…” He eventually mutters. “…and do you have anything else…”

Victoria pulls you back slightly and whispers a few questions into your ear. You nod, motion for her to return back to her previous spot, and say, “Yeah, I do. Who’s ‘they’? Where are the demons that you were using? And though I’m pretty sure that I know what you were after, do me a favor and confirm it for me anyway.”

Wiping the blood from his eyes, he says, “…we were sent after a black box…no questions asked…half of the money up front…half when we delivered it…”

Your suspicions are confirmed. They were after Queen Titania. Which means that whoever hired these chucklefucks had insider information about the Task Force and, specifically, Squad Carina's mission. So even after six weeks of the intelligence division combing through the ranks, there was still a traitor inside the ranks.

That isn't disturbing in the slightest.

He continues, “…as for who hired us…we never got a name…just two strangers up and showed on our trailer...with a briefcase full of money and that…that there greem-oree…”

“Describe them for me.”

“…the woman was a redhead-”

That’s all he’s able to say before his head jerks violently to the side as a gunshot rings through the air. His body falls to the ground, spasming and twitching as the nerves fire blindly without any sort of restraint. A hole the size of your thumb is plastered right between his eyes.

“Sniper!” Victoria shouts, bringing her gun and demons around to bear. “Get to cover, now-”

Her rallying cry is cut off by the sound of something BIG suddenly appearing on the roof of the car. Very, very big given how easily the metal frame groans and buckles under its monstrous girth. The poor schmuck in the driver’s seat is crushed, and the legs of the other guy don’t fare too well either.

“You ask too many questions,” the monster on the roof rumbles, and its voice is like the slow build-up before a landslide. “Too many questions, too quickly, too soon. I have no choice.”

Its existence was impossible. How was its mount standing on a snake’s body, with the weight of the horse being an impossible load to bear? The hissing snakes that came down its body in the absence of arms, and the jagged teeth the monster’s head bore in a grim snarl.

This is a demon.

“Take some modicum of pride in that you’ve forced my hand. Die with that knowledge, Sons of Adam, Daughter of Eve.”

Without any warning, the mount exhales a viscous mist from its mouth, enveloping you in a cloud that reeks of all things foul and terrible. The scent of infection, the vile odor of decay, and the cloying smell of a festering wound.

The familiar sensation of light-headedness and vertigo passes briefly, before departing your body. Much like your last encounter with the Sick ailment, it seems to have completely bounced off of your body.

On the other hand, it fucks up everyone else, much like your last encounter.

Everyone else in the party, both Devil Summoners and demons alike, proceed to double over, cough violently like they’ve got the fucking plague, and/or vomit onto the ground. Props to Victoria for holding bile in this time. Unfortunately, you can’t say the same for Brady, who proceeds to lose his dinner all over the pavement.

Your headset bursts to life with a flare of static. “That’s Orias!” The operator shouts in a panic. In the distance, you can hear sirens of some sort going off in the background. “A great marquis of hell! What’s he doing here…no, that doesn’t matter. He’s powerful, too powerful for your current demons to handle. You need to retreat!”

"Duly noted," You dryly reply before turning your attention to the aforementioned demon, weapon at the ready.

“Pixie, cure everyone!” You shout, helping Brady up to his feet. You reach into your bag, unstopper a Dis-Poison and force the concoction down his throat before he can puke again. “Angel, hit Orias with Sukunda!”

Your demons obey your commands, casting their magic as you grab everyone’s attention. “Pull back! Everyone pull back to the car!”

Brady and Victoria acknowledge your command in-between their coughing fits and order their demons to retreat in turn. It takes a few moments, but everyone eventually builds up the momentum to book a strategic withdrawal away from the Marquis of hell.

From behind your shoulder, Orias raises an eyebrow in what appears to be amusement. “Never turn your back on the enemy in front of you.”

The flames lick at your armor and irritate the skin, but other than that, you manage to brush off the attack with minimal injury. And even though there are some among the party that have a weakness to fire, it seems like they emerged relatively unscathed. Jack Frost apparently didn’t need to outrun Orias. He only needed to outrun his master.

>-1 HP

“Coming in hoooooooooooooooot!” You scream as Fitz and MacKay bring their guns to bear at your charging forms. One look at you, the demon behind you, and the ill forms of the rest of the party are all they need to flick the safeties off their guns and open fire on Orias.

Once you’ve cleared the field of fire, of course. You curse as you return your attention to the rest of the party, doing your best to shout orders and issue commands to your demons. The sudden blazing inferno and smoke does nothing whatsoever to help you-

“Hey, Adrian! Hold my juice box and watch this!”

The bottle of Dis-Poison slips from nerveless fingers, falling to the pavement to bounce and roll haplessly at your feet.

“Aw, you’re no fun. Come on! I’ll bet you the next plate of cookies that I can do this with my eyes closed!”

You can see Fitz and MacKay’s guns blasting into Orias, the muzzleflash sharp and bright in the darkness of the night. Brady and Victoria shout orders to their demons, lips forming commands for spells and magic. Angel stops midway through healing Jack Frost, mouth moving to ask a question as High Pixie hovers beside you with a panicked expression on her face.

“You’re only eight years old once, you know. We won’t be able to enjoy the playground forever!”

You cannot hear anything. The world is silent, unnaturally silent, and the only noise you can hear is a static in your ears, white noise coming from your mind. You can't filter it out, you can't make it go away.

“So it’s best if we do it all with no regrets, as much as we can!”

Your body is shaking, your ears are ringing, and what feels like a vice is slowly crushing your skull, inch by painful inch. Even though you didn’t get hit by the Pandemic Bomb, you feel sick, sicker than you’ve ever felt before in your entire life.

It’s no good. You can’t stay focused, you can’t stay awake. It’s all too much for you to handle, and your body screams at the sensory overload.

“It’s going to get tougher when we get older, you know.”

Even as your vision begins to tunnel, you’re only dimly aware of High Pixie freaking out, trying to catch your body as you collapse like a puppet with its strings cut. You don’t even feel your head hitting the pavement once, twice before coming to a standstill.

“Being a grown-up stinks, and I know we want to be kids forever…”

You have to move. You need to get back in the fight. The others…they won’t be able to win. What were you fighting anyway? Something…someone important from hell. A powerful demon…

“But as long as we’re together, being an adult won’t be so bad.”

But you can’t move. Your head hurts too much.

“You and me…together against the world…”

Just a quick…nap. A power nap to get your…energy back…and clear…your…is all…you…

Use Bufu/Ice Bullets

If you need to run just do it, now that the drive by perps are dead there is no real point in sticking around, though Orias might just blow up the car

I think Task Force are on their way.

Maybe use Titania if you need to.

>Alice
There are records of Alice appearing throughout the Task Force's history. Her first major (or recorded) appearance was in Johnny O'Donnell's years of life, though.

Still, she's made enough of a reputation to have a sizable bounty on her head, one that's only increased throughout the Task Force's history. At the current time, she's more of an urban legend used to prank/scare rookies with since she hasn't been last seen for at least thirty years.

With that said, the bounty is still up for grabs if anyone can bring her in: dead or alive.

>Big names
Depends on what you mean by big names. If we're going by bosses/iconic demons, then yes, Devil Summoners across the ages have faced off with and battled the various dukes and rulers of hell, and occasionally tangled with the various gods and demons of other cultures. Their names and stories can be found both in the library and the memorial wall.

NPC wise...
>Commander Gore used to be in charge of Division IV before Alger took over.
>Akemi Nakajima was the original creator of the Demon Summoning Program.
>Zel and Jiminez were a couple together on Alger's original squad.
>Aika Nakamura and her father cook for the divisions on the West Coast of America.

I mentioned this in a previous thread, but this world we're playing in is a melting pot of everything SMT. Persona, Digital Devi Summoner, Devil Summoner, mainline SMT and even some more obscure Atlus stuff that most fans haven't even played with.

This is all part of that SMTabletop RPG that I'm working offline with my friends. And when I have a finished product, I want to have a nice backdrop setting to go with it. Hence, this campaign, hence the worldbuilding.

I mean, on the Tabletop, I've got a Devil Summoner TF666 PC and a Demichild with an Angelic bloodline fighting a cult of Atma Avatars to rescue a latent Persona user. Things get...heated on the tabletop. Quite quickly.

And don't worry about high level shit. You'll eventually get to that much sooner than you think.

The plan I have for Alice is to make her not as some cutesy lolita undead daughteru, but a "back-to-basics" terrifying demon that's more than capable of wiping you out if you as much as blink the wrong way. I mean, dresses and frills are nice and all, but this is SMT at the end of the day.

You're gonna have a bad time.

>Harem protag
I made this observation earlier, but it seems that he isn't the typical harem MC. For one, it seems that he's more than capable of growing a backbone and responding to a girl's advances. Well, that, and the fact that the dice seem to love to screw with me.

At any rate, I might do a session tomorrow. I just need to finish up all the writefag stuff on pastebin that I need to do (Alyssa smut, Demon Down Time, character interludes)

So what would happene if we get our entire squad to 300+ approval?
>>
>>46697830
Honestly, in canon she's kind of both. Which is why alot of people like her. Even the "Alicefags" people are whining about seem to more put her in a murderous light.

Such as >>46685363 which fits her in game personality very well. It's that blend of innocent and murderous that makes people like her, where she takes something generally fun and twists it until these people are quivering in fear over the fact that she'll flay the skin from their bodies and cover them in salt if they don't make her happy.
Which the twist is, even making her happy will likely end with her killing you simply because she wants to spend forever playing with you.

Though, those that summon her seem to have much more leeway and control, and based on IMAGINE's interactions with her she acts more like a child around them.
>>
>>46697893
Dis-Poison functions here like it does in (most) SMT games, with the exception that it heals Sick as well as Poison.

In-universe, a bottle of Dis-Poison is a small thing the size of a Five-Hour Energy drink, to be consumed by a single human/demon. The thing about it is that you can't split it between two people, as you have to drink a certain amount for the concoction to take effect.

>>46697958
That would be getting into spoiler territory.

>>46698245
What I mean by my previous post is that the first reaction I want to elicit from you guys is not a celebratory "Yay, Alice is here!", but rather "Ohfuckohfuckohfuck" about-to-shit-your-pants terrified.I don't intend to alter her personality. I still want her to be all cheerful and happy that she's about to rip your guts out and twirl them in the air.

Alice does seem to do a good job of mellowing out once you get her in the games. I mean, she's just as batshit insane as ever, but it's all directed to your enemies instead of you. I don't want to call her a "dog on a leash" since that seems like the wrong comparison to use.

Perhaps she views her masters a stern older sibling/parental figure to tell her that what is acceptable for demons isn't acceptable for humans?
>>
>>46697830
>not as some cutesy lolita undead daughteru
>but a "back-to-basics" terrifying demon
A "back-to-basics" approach with Alice would be making her a cute undead daughter. In her first appearance in SMT she was literally the Ghost Daughter of Belial and Nebiros, who murdered a city and put a barrier around it so Alice would have friends.
Fuck, Alice's interaction with you is pretty much her asking you to play with her, sending you on a fetch quest then asking if you'll be her friend and stay with her. (Die for me?)
She doesn't even fight in SMT, Belial and Nebiros do, Alice doesn't start fighting until SMTII I believe, which she has no more plot presence then randomly showing up when you open a box and asking for what's inside.
Her series origin were literally "Cute Ghost Daughter." and people seem to forget that.

I mean, I'm not arguing against using threatening scary Alice. I'm just arguing against people who go "BLARGH FUCK DAUGHTERFU CUTE ALICE! FUCK ALICEFAGS! HAS TO BE ALL SCARY ALL THE TIME!"

>>46698376
Honestly, you'll probably get both reactions. I know, that even if she's in murder mode, my first reaction will be "Yay! Alice!" not because she can wipe out the party, but because I simply like Alice and am happy to see her in quest.
>>
I think the lesson learned here is that we should not get between an anon and his fetish.

All demons should be scary, otherworldly, or have a palpable aura imo. Lucifer should even veiled set off something primal in the gut of a person, whether it be a lsut for him and his power or "Oh fucking shit this guy ain't right"

Just like Titania was otherworldly beautiful and Adrian was (rightfully) watching her like a hurricane.
>>
>>46698638
Dude, you're getting your knickers in a twist over a single picture, which isn't even Lewd. I can't say anything definately, because I'm not the original artist, but it looks to be attempting to invoke a falling image.

>>
>>46698704

>>46698696

>>
>>46698729
Keep projecting.
>>
>>46698772
She's also a weak ass demon my comparison. She is weird, but it like her is small time comparatively.
>>
>>46698804
And then, Lucifer when veiled shouldn't turn heads, imo. He uses those comparatively thin disguises specifically so he can move about humans, it'd ruin it if he walked into a building as Louis Cypher and everyone suddenly noticed him.

I mean, I agree totally in situations like Angel form and Demon form Lucifer. That should be either Awe or Fear, even if it's not supernatural related, simply because of who he is.
It's like facing YVHV, a normal person wouldn't be able to do it. But then protags are special.
>>
>>46698894
It'd be toned down while veiled, but I imagine it'd still be there. Like you're hair prickling their presence. You can't say WHY you just have a feeling.

I think it's more, Demons don't understand exactly what or why the pressure is. It's just a pixie, but they feel a demon on Lucifer's Tier.

I wonder what's more scary, a blatantly terrifying being like lucifer, or a tiny little sprite that feels exactly the same as lucifer, but without any sense of grandeur or majesty.

I personally REALLY like this Demon and am sad it only showed up in like one game.

If we ever need to go on the lam or be a secret super hero, I suggest this as our suit.
