>>Information

This quest, as the title suggests, takes place in the world of Dragon Ball. You're playing as a thirteen year old boy named Tofoo, and will adventure through the story of the Dragonball series alongside characters such as Goku, Yamcha, Bulma, Tien, and many others. Through your actions, you can make significant changes to the story, and perhaps even become the strongest fighter on Earth.

>Rules

At the end of each update you'll have ten minutes to vote on options. Write-ins are allowed, but I do reserve the right to veto them.

In the event of a draw, the option to receive the next vote wins

Rolls will be used on certain occasions, such as attempting a technique for the first time or attempting something extremely difficult. You will have three rolls, and if one succeeds, you succeed. There are no crits.

Rolls are made AFTER an option wins, not during the voting process

I hope everyone has fun.

"So is theft," you point out, looking over at Lazuli. "So, is this your boyfriend?"

"I'm her brother," the boy tells you. "And I don't appreciate guys stalking my sister."

"I just broke down a metal door, you sure you want to pick a fight?" you ask.

Lapis reaches down to a holster at his hip, pulling out a pistol.

"Well, it looks like I'm the only one here with a peacekeeper, so yeah, I like my odds," he answers.

Well, this could get ugly. How should you play this.

"Him? Sorry, but that's clearly a lady," you reply.

The boy points his pistol at you, readying to shoot.

You tell them that you just want your money back.

I'd just like to interject for a moment. What you’re referring to as Linux, is in fact, GNU/Linux, or as I’ve recently taken to calling it, GNU plus Linux. Linux is not an operating system unto itself, but rather another free component of a fully functioning GNU system made useful by the GNU corelibs, shell utilities and vital system components comprising a full OS as defined by POSIX.
Many computer users run a modified version of the GNU system every day, without realizing it. Through a peculiar turn of events, the version of GNU which is widely used today is often called “Linux”, and many of its users are not aware that it is basically the GNU system, developed by the GNU Project. There really is a Linux, and these people are using it, but it is just a part of the system they use.
Linux is the kernel: the program in the system that allocates the machine’s resources to the other programs that you run. The kernel is an essential part of an operating system, but useless by itself; it can only function in the context of a complete operating system. Linux is normally used in combination with the GNU operating system: the whole system is basically GNU with Linux added, or GNU/Linux. All the so-called “Linux” distributions are really distributions of GNU/Linux.

You give the boy a look. "What are you even doing stealing money? Let alone from someone who beat up a full grown man for that money."

"Wait, so you stole the money first?" Lazuli asks.

"Ah, well that makes it even better," the boy says. "It's not really stealing if it's from a thief."

You ignore the boy and start walking toward Lazuli.

"Not a good idea," you hear the boy say as he cocks his gun.

You keep walking, and Lazuli takes a nervous step back.

There's a loud bang, and a bullet hits the back of your head, causing you to hiss in pain and rub the spot where you were shot. Looking over your shoulder's, you see the boy looking at you wide-eyed, and when you look forward again, you see that Lazuli's pulled out a knife, which she holds out in front of her, clearly ready to use it.

"Can I have my money back?" you ask Lazuli politely.

"Why don't you just go steal more from someone else if you're so good at it?" the boy asks.

You explain that you didn't steal it, you won it in a competition.

"Oh yeah? What kind of competition?" the boy asks. "Sis, how much money is there?"

She thumbs through the stack of cash she stole from you. "A hundred thousand zeni."

"What, then you won that street fighting competition?" the boy asks.

"Thanks," you say, taking the money.

Lazuli doesn't say anything back, crossing her arms and giving you a weak glare. Clearly, she's feeling a lot less confident in dealing with you since seeing you shrug off a bullet.

You tell the girl that you think she's pretty.

She gives you a surprised look, clearly thinking your compliment has just come out of nowhere. That look is quickly replaced by a slightly more intense glare, and you think you can hear the boy cocking his gun again.

You count the money, confirming that all of it is there.

"There, you have your money," the boy says. "Now scram, would you?"

You take a look around the room you're in. You think it was a warehouse at some point, but it looks like nobody's used it for years. A couple of old mattresses lie on the floor, with some dirty looking pillows and surprisingly nice-looking blankets on top of them.

You see some empty cans of food, some water bottles, and a few empty bags of chips, pretzels, and other snacks.

"Do you two live here?" you ask.

"So what if we do?" Lapis asks. "The rent's cheap."

"Where are your parents?" you ask him.

"Where do you think, idiot?" Lazuli asks. "They died a long time ago."

You sigh, handing half of the money back to her. "Here, I thought you two were just some cute jerks, but if you need it, I don't need all of it."

Lazuli stares for a moment before quickly grabbing the money, as if she's afraid you'll just take it back.

"If you guys need a job or something, go to Capsule Corp in West City," you say. "Tell them you're a friend of Tofoo, and I'm sure they can hook you up."

Lazuli's eyes go wide, and you see a smile begin to work its way onto her face before Lapis speaks up.

"Thanks, but we're doing just fine out here," he tells you. "Besides, working for a bunch of corporate snobs at Capsule Corp doesn't sound very fun."

Lazuli frowns. "Right. But thanks for the money."

You also explain that you have two friends who are about as strong as you, that have been helping you fight the army.

"Those two you were with?" Lazuli asks.

"Oh, he had friends?" Lapis asks.

She nods. "A bald kid and a spikey-haired kid with a monkey tail."

You ask them again if they've seen anything.

The blaring of their sirens allows you to track them, and it doesn't take long for you to catch up. You run down the sidewalk, moving around many shocked people as you follow the cars, which screech to a halt in front of a bank.

The police set up a perimeter, and a dog-man with brown fur and a megaphone shouts for the people inside to come out with their hands up.

Nevermind this, you don't have time to sit around and ask questions.

It's time to get a little reckless.

Pushing through the police line, you run ahead toward the bank, ignoring the cops who shout and run after you as you make your approach to the building.

But, despite what the police are probably thinking, you aren't heading for the front door. Instead, you head for the side, jump, and punch into the wall, giving yourself a handhold before creating another, and another until you reach the top.

You decide to do what you've seen in some of the movies you watched with Oolong while you lived at Capsule Corp. You're going in through the vents.

It's a tight fit, but you're able to make your way through the ventilation system, pausing when you hear voices below you. Looking down though a grate in the vent, you spot five, well-armed individuals standing in the middle of the bank, surrounded by terrified looking people on the ground.

Four men surround a woman with long, green hair who looks at her watch impatiently.

"Boss, when's the chopper supposed to get here?" one of the soldiers asks.

"Five minutes ago," the woman says with an angered growl.

"What if they don't show?" a fox man asks.

"Then we blast our way out with as much as we can carry," the woman tells him. "Take some of the hostages with us so the police keep their distance."

"We have enough firepower to take them," one of the soldiers tells her.

"Maybe, but we're still outnumbered, this could go real bad real fast," the woman tells him.

"I don't know, bu-" the woman starts before pausing, raising an eyebrow. "Ah, it's you."

To be completely honest, I completely agree. I genuinely enjoyed seeing/making that happen, there was good chemistry and it all felt in-character for them. But since there are no redheaded midgets around, I want Goku to end up with the next best thing.

And that, in my opinion, is Suno.

I'll try my best, SOM, but if Misa is who he ends up with, I'll accept it.

You do realize if he doesn't end up with Misa, there is another redheaded princess that will want his power pole, yes?

A snake lady princess.

SOM! Can we use the Dragon Balls to revive best Saiyan and then go on outer space adventures?
Unless he's been Xenoverse'd, then can we go on Time Patrol adventures?
