You are Kusajishi Riku, Captain of the Seireitei's Ninth Division and the aunt of a certain pain-in-the-ass shinigami substitute. It's not exactly a clean-cut sort of relationship you have with the Shiba family, as you see Kūkaku, Kaoru, and Isshin as your siblings despite the fact that you're pretty sure Isshin and Kūkaku's sides of the family are cousins, but the Shibas have always played things a little fast and loose in that regard. To them you're family full stop, and with that complete acceptance comes certain responsibilities.

Chief among them, dealing with the fact that Ichigo and his friends seem to have this weird notion that you can solve any spirit-related problem they bring you. At the moment this means figuring out how to deal with “Senna”, a mod soul that's currently sought by the regai-Captains and their controller for reasons unknown.

“So what you're saying is she has a zanpakuto?” Ichigo concludes, excitedly. “Well, how do we get it out?”

“There's only one way I can figure,” you admit, recalling your own centuries of training and finding one constant. “She has to need it in a stressful situation.”

Senna glances at you nervously. “Why don't I like where this is going...”

“Because you have a good read on the situation,” Yoruichi replies cheerfully as your left hand's grip around the mouth of Tenkotsuki's scabbard tightens. “It's a rare skill these days.”

“Hey now, wait a minute!” Ichigo insists as it dawns on him what you meant. “That's not okay! Are you seriously gonna attack her when she can't defend herself?”

Senna's eyes dart away from you to rest on your nephew, then find their way back to you once more. “Not necessarily. I don't have to be the one to do it, though between you and me it won't be the first time I've trained a kid this way.”

“Hey, what do you mean 'kid', anyway!?” Senna retorts, nervousness temporarily forgotten.

“You've had a body for what, a few days? Maybe?” you ask, shaking your head. “You have no zanpakuto, no training, no practical experience... for all intents and purposes there's no difference between you the way you are now and a child.”

“You said you've trained children before?” Tatsuki asks. “How did that turn out?”

“One of them is my Lieutenant, the other is a Captain,” you reply calmly. “In fact Rukia is the weakest person I've ever had a hand in training, and she's easily at the level of a Lieutenant. And still improving.”

“But do you really have to attack her to do it?” Ichigo asks. The boy still has his doubts about this plan, and who wouldn't? For an average person the thought of having to face off against a Captain is the stuff of nightmares, after all, and unlike the average person Ichigo actually understands how stupidly powerful Captains are.

You shake your head as a plan forms in your mind. “No, I don't. Because anyone would do, really.”

Ichigo's eyes narrow at you. “You mean you want us to attack her?”

“That's the point,” you repeat, calmly allowing him to glare at you as much as he likes. “If you're not comfortable with me doing it, then it has to be you. But we may not have much time to argue: you came to me for help, and I'm telling you this is the only way to awaken her powers quickly enough for it to matter.”

“Or would you rather let others keep placing themselves in danger to protect you?” you ask, staring straight into Senna's eyes. After a moment hers harden with a newfound resolve: she's made her decision.

“Ichigo, Tatsuki,” she instructs. “Thank you for your concern, but please do as the Captain asks.”

Is Rukia really the weakest person we've trained? I mean, she might not have bankai, but I wager she's stronger than Renji, and probably stronger than Hiashi too

You didn't really train Renji in any meaningful way. Of the three current Commandos she's the only one without Bankai, and the former Commandos who've made Lieutenant all have 50+ years of experience on her.

As for Hisagi he is a lieutenant. And we haven't really seen him fighting in game.

“Yoruichi, mind taking care of the kids for a little while?”

Your wife of about a century raises a skeptical eyebrow. “What, planning on running off to do something fun without me?”

“I'm gonna go kidnap a quincy,” you explain, your deadpan tone catching your nephew completely off guard.

“Wait, what?” he demands. “You're gonna kidnap Ishida? Isn't that... you know, illegal?”

“Well technically nobody's getting killed,” Yoruichi shrugs, dismissing Ichigo's concerns. “And she's the Captain, so the amount of time she can spend doing it's at her discretion. So no, there's really no law in the Soul Society against kidnapping a human.”

“That's kinda terrifying,” Tatsuki mutters grimly. “You'd think the afterlife would be more on top of that sorta detail.”

“It's a feudal society,” you explain thoughtfully. “Murder is a thing. Violation of privacy, personal rights? Unless you're a noble, not really so much of a thing. Maybe not the best of situations, but in this case it works to my advantage. Ishida's too.”

“Why exactly are you kidnapping this Ishida person again?” Senna asks, having been somewhat left behind by the exchange.

You pat her on the shoulder. “Sometimes, Senna, a wayward young man just needs a kick in the pants to get him on the right path again. Ishida is in that position right now, and I know just the right foot to do the kicking.”

“His old man won't like it,” Yoruichi reminds you. “How do you plan to do this?”

You ponder the question briefly... as nice as it'd be to see Masaki again, Ryūken is the stubborn one of the two as well as the boy's father: it's him you'll really have to deal with. You could sneak in and out, but knowing the paranoia most surviving quincy live in these days it's entirely possible that Ryūken's cunningly hidden his son behind some sort of barrier. The path most likely to lead to success therefore is to try and convince the senior Ishida of the necessity behind having his successor trained.

And failing that, you'll go back to the plan of kidnapping him.

“I'll ask Ryūken politely, of course,” you begin. “Then when he refuses I'll punch him until he relents.”

“That sounds like as solid a plan as any,” Yoruichi admits.

Tatsuki cocks her head at you. “When?”

“Little Ryūken can be stubborn where his people are concerned,” you explain carefully. “Pigheaded, even. So it's not really a question of whether he'll resist the idea, but how hard.”

“Work through his wife,” your own wife suggests. “He probably listens to her far more than he'll ever listen to a shinigami.”

“Ishida's family seems to know mine too,” Ichigo admits with a frown. “His old man and mine don't seem to like each other, but he may listen to my mom.”

“That does have a certain appeal to it,” Rosa sighs inside your mind. It's almost more longing than frustrated, which coming from her is an almost alien feeling. “Getting the current generation in one room together to discuss the future.”

“Yeah, and it could backfire just as easily,” you observe. “I don't know what sort of politics are going on between them any more than you do.”

“Excuse me?” Senna asks, confused by the fact that to her you've just begun talking to yourself.

“She does that,” Yoruichi assures the mod soul. “Sometimes she forgets that we can't hear her zanpakuto too.”

“I can't even hear mine that easily,” Ichigo grumbles.

Bringing Bambi along would make things more tense due to what they remember/know of war-era Sternritter. But it would be best if we let them in on the happenings in Silbern. This is also a test of trust between Riku and Bambi as Riku's offering Bambi an opportunity to help out her fellow quincymen in exchange for Bambi's support in siding with the Shimigami.

How up-to-date are the Silbern Quincy with current events and current world culture in the mortal world? Because if they've been squatting about in that realm for a millennia, there's 1000 years of world history that they have to catch up on, yet they wear WWII-style military outfits.

You have a plan, and a glance shared with Yoruichi lets her know as much before you head off running towards your Division's grounds. You can feel that the quincy have been taken into the prison wing, and that Bambietta Basterbinne is currently with them. So that's where you head, stepping through the recently-replaced door and letting out a brief burst of reiatsu to announce your presence.

But when you find her, it's not her fellow Sternritter you find Bambietta talking to.

“You're still a sad sack of shit,” she tells Cirucci, her arms crossed in front of her. “If you can't stand losing you shouldn't have been fighting in the first place, but if you've still got something left then quit fucking moping!”

You clear your throat, calling her attention. “So you done grilling her yet?”

Bambietta glances back at the arrancar. “Yeah, I think I'm done.”

“What the hell was that?” you demand once out of earshot.

She shrugs. “Even if she's a shitty person, it feels wrong leaving her like that.”

“Maybe you should leave the pep-talks to someone else,” you suggest rather gently.

Bambietta considers the point, then nods to herself. “Sure, guess you may have a point. So what do you need?”

“Just follow me,” you insist. “I've got someone for you to talk to.”

“Alright, let's see how this goes,” you sigh, ripping open a gash in the universe and stepping through it into the living world. Immediately, you're confronted by a problem: you can't feel the spiritual presence of the younger Ishida. It's almost certain that he's behind a barrier of some sort.

Bambi looks around nervously. “Should we even be here, Captain?”

“We're fine,” you insist. “Let's start at the Kurosaki clinic.”

You knock at the door, and it's one of Isshin and Masaki's young daughters who answers the door.

“Ah, Auntie Riku!” the little blonde-haired girl greets you excitedly. “Come in, come in! I'll make you a nice cup of coffee, mom's in the kitchen!”

“That's sweet,” you tell her, “thank you, Yuzu.”

“She can't see me?” Bambietta asks, watching as the girl retreats deeper into the Kurosaki home. “You switched into a gigai that quickly?”

“Yup,” you nod. “Come on, Masaki's waiting for us.”

Sure enough, the mother of the Kurosaki house is sitting in the family room waiting for you, an apron set over the arm of her chair. You motion to Bambi to take a seat on the couch before joining her yourself.

“So where'd you get a one-armed quincy?” Masaki asks you as she takes a sip of her own coffee.

“Silbern,” you reply with equal calm, and Masaki nearly chokes on her drink.

“No way!” she retorts, glancing at Bambietta. “You mean... is she... you know...”

“E, the Explode,” Bambi clarifies. “Or at least I was, before shit happened. You're a quincy, right? Are you one of the current Sternritter?”

“I am,” Masaki nods, her expression growing just that much more serious. “We don't have epithets though, haven't done that in centuries.”

“No big loss,” Bambietta admits. “They were all so damned uncreative.”

“So why are you here?” Masaki asks.

“I need your help,” you reply.

“We should find Kanae first,” you suggest. “I believe she should be in her office?”

Masaki nods thoughtfully. “And it feels like Ryūken's actually working. He might have gotten a serious case that demanded his attention.”

“It's always possible,” you admit.

You manage to navigate through the hospital easily enough, and when you reach Kanae's office the woman is already waiting for you. Her dark hair is tied in a tight bun, and she seems much more stern than you remember her.

“You let yourselves in,” she observes calmly, glancing up from her paperwork. “Masaki, I expected a greater degree of courtesy from the matriarch of the Kurosaki family.”

“Well, you know me,” she sighs. “Never one to stand on formalities.”

“You may as well be a Shiba,” you smirk.

“That said there is generally a certain protocol to be followed,” Kanae insists, before her eyes fall on Bambietta. “Who is this?”

“A thousand year-old Sternritter,” Bambietta replies coolly. “And you are?”

“That's impossible,” Kanae insists flatly. “Who are you?”

“Don't make me repeat myself.”

Kanae, sensing that Bambietta's being deadly serious, rises to her feet, leaning forward to stare the vastly older quincy in the eyes. “No, it would seem you are not lying, are you? Silbern... was real?”

“Is real,” Bambietta corrects. “Unfortunately it's also full of borderline psychopathic quincy who long ago lost their grip on reality, but yes. It's real.”

“Why is she here?”

“To train your son,” you inform her. Her head snaps around, and her eyes lock on yours. You can tell she doesn't like the idea... in fact, there's almost a trace of fear in her eyes rather than simple uncertainty.

"Aizen's a manipulative jackass of the highest order," you explain, "and a threat to all of us. Uryū can learn a lot from Bambietta here, perhaps even things your husband never learned."

“So why do you want to do this, Miss Sternritter?” Kanae counters, cutting straight to the heart of her concern. “What interest do you have in my son?”

Bambietta sighs, and her left hand quickly finds the stump of her right arm. After a moment, she makes an obviously self-conscious effort to stop fidgeting. “My generation may be lost, I dunno. Your generation's not gonna change much. But your kid... he's the next generation, and helping him reach whatever potential he's got...”

“That may be more your most important contribution,” Kanae completes the thought. “It is why our family has always held such respect for the Sternritter who saved master Sōken's lineage from destruction, and it is a notion to which I can agree.”

“So what about it?” you press quietly. “Will you tell us where Uryū is?”

Kanae starts. “Against Ryūken's wishes?”

“I want his help convincing little Ryūken,” you explain in a quiet tone. “My hope is that he'll listen if his entire family is behind the idea.”

“You may be correct,” Kanae agrees, though her voice betrays some hesitation. “I will lead you to the room where my son is being kept.”

“Being kept?” Masaki asks, her eyes narrowing dangerously. “Kanae, what has your husband done?”

Without explaining, Ishida Kanae leads you down several floors to the basement... then down an elevator into a second basement. Inside you find a dimly lit hallway that ends in a well-constructed barrier: no doubt the work of little Ryūken. Kanae produces a ginto from her pocket, and splashes the contents over what looks like a plain wall.

“In here,” she tells you as the wall dissolves from the spot where the ginto splashed outwards. Eventually you're left staring at an archway, beyond which is a stark-looking room lined with what appears to be silver.

“So this is what was blocking my senses,” you mutter, staring at the room itself. A massive amount of material must have gone into this. “To have gone to the trouble of insulating a room this way... Ryūken must have been working at it for years.”

“Outside of Karakura town such a design might not be feasible,” Kanae explains. “The reishi density here is much greater than average, and that made this room possible.”

“Uryū!” she calls. “You have visitors!”

You hear a loud groan from somewhere inside the chamber. Behind a low wall, the youngest Ishida sits on the floor in what remains of a school uniform that's been torn apart, likely due to his own training. He looks at you in resignation.

“Mother, Misses Kurosaki, Captain,” he greets you calmly. “How kind of you to visit me down here... in the sub-basement. I'm truly flattered.”

“The Ishida training regimen seems like a pain in the ass,” Bambietta declares, walking over to her future student and hauling him to his feet with her good arm. He hisses in pain, probably from strained muscles throughout his body. “How'd you like to come train with me for a while?”

“You're a quincy? How?”

“Long story. I've got no time for a half-hearted student, so if you want help reaching your full potential you gotta say so right now.”

“Are you telling me you're a better teacher than my own father?” Ishida grunts as Bambietta prompts him to start walking for the door. “That's rather arrogant, don't you think?”

“I'm a thousand years your father's senior,” Bambi retorts, “so if you don't want my thousand-year-old boot up your ass quit back-talking me. I may be volunteering to teach you, but that doesn't make me your friend. We do this my way or not at all.”

“Clear?”

Ishida remains silent for a moment before nodding. “Crystal.”

“Good boy. Now come on, we've gotta go convince your old man.”

As they pass Kanae, Ishida gives his mother a rather confused look: you can see the question in his eyes as easily as she can. Kanae merely shrugs.

“Your guess is as good as mine, Uryū. But knowing you as I do, I feel the reward is worth the risk.”

At the top floor of the building, you find Ryūken waiting in his office. It's a corner office with wide glass windows and a faint smell of cigarette smoke...

A single ginto flies from his hand, but his mistake was in putting a little too much force behind the tiny silver tube. Instead of doing whatever it was supposed to do, it hits you in the mouth where you catch it between your teeth. Something strikes you as off about it though...

“You overcooked it,” you observe from behind your teeth.

Ryūken, like Kanae before, doesn't look up. Instead he takes a drag of his cigarette and settles into his chair. “I see your manners have yet to improve, Captain Kusajishi. Though your reactions are as sharp as ever, you still talk with your mouth full.”

“And your attitude is still rotten,” you counter, spitting the ginto out onto the floor. “But at least the ginto was empty this time. Progress.”

“How is it that you've gotten into my hospital? I distinctly remember refusing to meet you.”

“I admitted them,” Kanae admits. “I believe this is important enough to defy your wishes.”

“And I agree,” Masaki agrees quietly. “Ryūken, I know you're not a fan of shinigami but I think you should listen to this. We're all at risk right now, quincy, human, and shinigami alike.”

“What would it say about us if we let our personal feelings get in the way of this?”

“I agree,” Ryūken nods quietly. You and Kanae exchange confused glances, then you glance at Masaki, who shrugs.

“Good, then I've got something to ask,” Bambi continues.

“I agree,” Ryūken repeats.

>Good. Then I trust we don't need to go into details?
>Wait, what are you agreeing to?

“What we wanna do is... wait,” Bambietta's voice falters and she exchanges a confused glance with the Ishida propped up against her shoulder. “What? You... agree?”

“I have said it twice, please don't make me repeat myself.”

“Do you know what you're agreeing to?” Masaki asks, furrowing her brow.

Ryūken sighs, putting out his cigarette against a dish on his desk. “I do not know why you've brought someone from Silbern into my hospital, and quite frankly I don't care. But her experience is no doubt formidable, so if Uryū survives the experience maybe he will finally be at the level worth noting.”

“You still think so little of me?” Uryū asks his father.

For the first time Ryūken looks up at his son. “I have never made it a secret that I think little of your skills, and you still must learn patience. But you have also seemed to mistake my intent, because I know your mind better than you think. You have always sought to prove yourself.”

“You have my permission to do so.”

Ishida seems completely taken aback at the way his father is speaking to him, and even more so by the fact that after saying such a thing to him he immediately lights a new cigarette and goes back to whatever he was doing before. As if the conversation had never even taken place.

“And I know you better than you think,” Ishida eventually replies with a bow. “Miss Sternritter, if you don't mind giving me a hand?”

Amidst some confusion your little group leaves Ryūken to it.

“Thank you, mother,” Ishida bows to Kanae.

“Whatever do you mean?”

“I mean that father would never have agreed to this so readily unless he knew that you had already been convinced. Your presence was a clear signal.”

“Don't sell yourself short, Uryū,” Masaki insists quietly. “Or did you really not notice?”

“He never once said anything about you,” you observe. “He bemoans your current lack of skill, and your recklessness, but he recognizes your potential. At least, that's the impression I got.”

“You two head back,” you tell Ishida and Bambietta. “And try not to break anything before I can join you?”

“You're not coming with us?” Bambietta asks, glancing at the Senkaimon as you open it for her. “Got some business here?”

“You could say that,” you nod. “Two humans with spooky powers but no real training in how to use them, it's something I've had on my mind but never found the time for.”

“Karakura High's still in summer sessions,” Masaki informs you, “so the two you're looking for are there, I'd guess. Unless Yasutora's skipping today.”

“Thanks for the suggestion, Masaki,” you nod gratefully. “Saves me a little trouble to know that ahead of time. Kanae, take care of yourself. Things may be getting nasty in the coming weeks.”

Kanae nods solemnly. “You need not worry about us.”

“I'm going to anyway.”

Karakura High is quiet this time in the afternoon, when many students are either excused or already inside. The heat here can be vicious, as is the case today, so even if a few of the students have an off period they're not going to be outside. You duck behind one of the gym storerooms, and allow Tenkotsuki to change your outfit to a high school summer uniform. It's a little plain for your tastes, but not uncomfortable.

“And of course it is perfectly tailored,” Tenkotsuki adds with obvious pride. “Mathematically ideal.”

“What a fashionista,” you grumble. “Why do I indulge you?”

“Because in doing so you indulge yourself, my dear. Your lack of restraint can be appalling at times.”

“Very funny.”

With a single leap, you manage to reach an open window and quickly let yourself into the classroom where Ichigo's friends are. With your mastery of hirenkyaku, you manage to take your seat near the back before anyone realizes... aside from Yasutora, who stares at you with a look of near-shock.

You smile and wave, which only alarms him even more.

“What's going on today!?” a boy complains loudly after the bell rings, you think his name was Asano. “We've got more people absent than present!”

“That's not true at all,” a short black-haired boy contends. “It's just that with Ichigo, Tatsuki, and Ishida gone it seems like it's a lot.”

“Kuchiki and Kusajishi too,” the one called Chizuru sighs. “Why'd they have to up and disappear so quickly?”

Yasutora gestures silently towards you, causing Asano to fall out of his seat in shock. “Kusajishi! When did you get here!?”

“I let myself in,” you shrug, brushing off his surprise. “Why, is that a problem?”

“I just... didn't see you is all,” Asano insists. “That's kinda freaky, you'd think a babe like... nevermind.”

A sidelong glance of pure disbelief from his friend seems to end that thought before it quite escapes his mouth in its entirety. Against the opposite wall, Orihime looks at you nervously, but says nothing.

These kids... you remember your conversations with Tenkotsuki's mother, Inari, about the Karakura region and it still leaves you deeply concerned about what may have been happening while you were gone. And they seem to remember you and Rukia as well, which shouldn't be the case at all if the memory blocks are still in place.

You have to investigate this further.

“Let's go up the the roof,” you suggest, trying to come off as casual. “All of us, get caught up.”

“Actually, I have violin lesson,” Chizuru admits, “so I'm gonna...”

“Come up to the roof with us anyway,” you repeat firmly, glaring hard into her eyes and letting a small burst of reiatsu fill the room. The redhead's eyes widen and her whole body shudders, an immediate and overwhelming discomfort seemingly shared by Asano and Mizuiro as well. “It's in your best interests.”

“I think we should go to the roof,” Yasutora agrees quietly.

Asano nods emphatically with a forced grin a mile wide. “Killer idea, Chad! Let's take some snacks and chat a while, like old times, you know! It'll be great!”

You get a handle on your reiatsu once more, and there's a collective sigh of relief. Your tone however is improbably chipper, and you clap your hands in a show of mock joy. “Great! I can't wait.”

The rooftop is rather warm today, but there's a nice spot where someone's put up a shade tent that shouldn't be here and you lead the group to it.

“So, what's been going on while I was away over the summer? Anything juicy?”

“Not really,” Mizuiro admits calmly. “Ichigo's been gone a lot though... aren't you like his cousin or something?”

“It's complicated.”
>1/2
>>
>>48541324
“And Chad won't tell us what he and Ichigo were up to either!” Asano complains.

“Which isn't unusual, he doesn't talk much in general,” Mizuiro points out. “Which is totally his business. It's part of what makes him cool, don't you think?”

Yasutora simply glances at you, but behind that mop of hair you can tell the “cool guy” is sweating bullets... and it's not from the muggy Japanese afternoon.

"So... what are you?"

Chizuru's question puts words to the outstanding question of many of those present.

“Nothing special,” you lie with a quiet smile.

Orihime shakes her head. “That's not true at all. I've seen what you do, Kusajishi.”

“I'm a death goddess,” you reply in the same even tone. “And one of the strongest, at that.”

“She is,” Yasutora confirms in his own terse manner. “Frighteningly strong.”

“That's pretty hard to believe,” Asano shakes his head. “I'd be ready to believe a lot, but that's a stretch.”

Without a word you rise to your feet, bidding Tenkotsuki to make you look the part. The black eyes, the tails, and the aura of authority and raw spiritual power might normally have been enough, but in a fortunate fluke a hollow decides to come through to check out the spiritual power you released before. Its roar draws the attention of Yasutora and Orihime, startling the rest, but it's your immediate response that leaves the greatest impression.

You extend one finger towards the beast.

“Hadō #4: Byakurai.”

Even without an incantation the power of the spell is sufficient to rip the hollow's mask open and kill it. In fact you're pretty sure that many at your rank could kill an ordinary hollow just by releasing your sword, so Byakurai might be overdoing it a little. But it gets the point across.

Your own transformation quickly reverts, and once more you appear as a somewhat mature high school student.

“I am Kusajishi Riku, Captain of the Ninth Division. I'm a shinigami, with vast spiritual powers at my disposal and a duty to protect the flow of souls between this world and the next. If Don Kanonji's power is like a bullet, I'd be a multi-warhead nuke,” you declare, seating yourself.

“And I need you to listen very carefully to what I have to say.”

They're probably not going to be happy, and there's no expectation IC that anyone's going to go out of their way for Bambietta. The loss of her arm was partly affected by the same principles as soul suicide, so there's a real question in my mind as to whether it should be possible.
>>
>>48542240
I figure if anyone could do it it would be Orihime.
>>
>>48542240
>Poorly, especially Candice.
How much is she getting mocked for going down that easily.
>>
>>48542343
While that's not an unfair assessment, it's also an issue you may wish to tread lightly around. That's just a bit of friendly advice.
>>
>>48542377
>How much is she getting mocked for going down that easily.
Cirucci probably feels much better about herself now.
>>
>>48542377
It's about the same everyone already knew she goes down too easy

But seriously, it's worse for the Privaron. Gantenbainne is handling it like a champ, but the others... not so much.

Any word from the Central 46 Bureaucracy? Are they getting to the point where they've all adopted kittens to pet for stress relief in the midst of all of the chaos?
>>
>>48542240
aren't her powers rejection in a limited area? is there anything she can't reject?
>>
>>48542428
How are Lynette and Yachiru getting along?
>>
>>48542433
Yoruichi's father is keeping shit together, but when they got reports of what Yoruichi and Riku got up to a lot of the Central 46 decided to shut up about them despite their disagreements.

>>48542499
It's a tricky, nebulous sort of thing. There are some times when she just whiffs, and people argue about the reasons.
>>
>>48542640
Yachiru sees her as kinda like a pet rather than a sister, and Lilynette sees Yachiru as an amusing diversion. They both rag on Kenpachi and Starrk way more than they do on each other, and the intensity of that's only likely to ratchet up as they get more comfortable with each other.
>>
>>48542428
are Dondoni's legs the only thing holding him back from trying to throttle Cirucci? How's Cirucci's coping with her existential crisis?
>>
>>48542717
How's Nel doing?
>>
>>48542891
>Neliel shudders to think what thoughts lie behind those calm black eyes, what dreams of chronic and sustained cruelty.
Team Fortress 2 Queen? You're comparing Riku to a gendered Pyro?
>>
Social update?
>>
>>48542883
There's also the restraining collar. As for Cirucci she's wearing the same sort of restraints despite the fact that there's no real need for it, mostly to make her feel a little less miserable. It's not really working, and she's at such a low point that *Bambietta* is trying to give her a pep-talk.

>>48542891
Shaken. Sharply divided about what she saw.
>>
>>48543072
It seems like restoring Cirucci's powers probably isn't impossible, if Mayuri could do it.

Though we don't really have much motive.
>>
>>48543129
The most likely reason we'd restore her power is if Tier asked us. I'm operating under the assumption that she spends a fair amount of her spare time trying to "turn" the arrancar prisoners.
>>
>>48542919
She IS legitimately terrifying in her own way and prone to overkill. YOU as players know her heart is absolutely in the right place, and many of those she surrounds herself with also place a lot of faith in her.

It's almost like inverse Unohana: she's nice on the outside, but she's got a terrifying side to her.

>>48542936
This week for sure. Decided last week didn't have much in the way of changes.
>>
>>48543072
Wow, Bambietta of all people trying to cheer her up? That must really say something. I take it Bambi's pep talk has marginally *better* success than getting Candice to calm down?
>>
>>48543171
Riku: Cold Steel hiding silk
Unohana: silk hiding Blood-drenched blade
>>
>>48543171
lose your trip again?
>>
>>48543246
Yeah, at this point I almost can't be bothered to turn it on and off.

>>48543214
A fair description.

>>48543180
Surprisingly yes. The only one who can get Candice to shut up is Candice.

They are being well-treated however, and Liltotto in particular is very much aware of it.
>>
>>48543304
What's Bambi's impression of the modern day mortal world? What parts of human culture is she alien to?
>>
>>48543304
How's Valhallan General Rogers faring? Despite the sour and messy promotion, is he somewhat enjoying the benefits?
>>
>>48543350
Basically everything. Nothing is familiar to her anymore, and the closer attention she pays to it the more she'd be disoriented.

>>48543418
It's good to be at the top no matter where you are, and he actually got to SEE Artemis. So as unnerving as it is he's kind of riding the high.
>>
>>48543500
I pray hope Rogers doesn't keep a pin-up of her in the office.
>>
>>48543674
>"Sir, that's really creepy. She's not even -that- attractive."
>"For the last time, Major, that is not why I keep that poster."
