starting with a d10 for its style
>>
Rolled 9 (1d10)

>>58080068
Sure, I'll play along.
>>
>>58080205
semi-Orthodox: Holds most of the practices of Mars but has many of its own 7-9
cool now what does it make
roll a d100 for product of note
>>
Rolled 9 (1d100)

>>58080540
I've never been too big on AdMech, but let's see what we can turn this forge world into!

very useful but that's not all roll a d10 for special product bonus

>>58080634
>>
>>58080205
>>58080584
>>58080692
Okay what the fuck. I've only rolled two of these, but seriously what the fuck.
>>
NEIN NEIN NEIN
>>
>>58080692
Bulk Production 9
they make guard arms so this makes sense
now for how they act
d10 for Mechanicus Demeanor
and if you roll another 9 i will summon an inquisitor
>>
Rolled 9 (1d10)

>>58080747
>>
>>58080757
What the fuck
>>
thanks tzeentch
>>
>>58080757
Independent, suspicious 9
i would certainly say so all those nines
roll a d10 to decide what kind of skitari they utalize
>>
Rolled 6 (1d10)

>>58080796
Come on nine.
>>
>>58080824
Of course Nurgle fucks it up

just as i found the picture
Skitarii Defense Force (Modified imperial guard units) 5-7
they manufacture guard arms so this also makes a lot of sense
now
how many are there? d10 for skitari legion strength
i'm still suspicious about those nines btw
>>
Rolled 4 (1d10)

>>58080874
Nothing to see here says Malal, chuckling suspiciously at all of those nines.
>>
>>58080924
Average: baseline number of Skitarii for a Forge World 4-7
any one want to roll up the skitari in more detail?
also the forge world need a name
>>
So far this is the blandest admech world in existence
>>
>>58081053
i know right
not what you'd expect with all those nines
maybe rolling up their skitari in more detail will help starting of with a d100 for how they recruit
>>
Rolled 24 (1d100)

>>58081127
>>
>>58081181
Vat-grown: these clones were born away from the grasp of unclean nature, and created to fulfill whatever exacting criteria their masters had in mind. 21-30
lovely
maybe there are some glitches roll a d100 to see
>>
Rolled 38 (1d100)

>>58080924
Forge world Durus. Even if they hold secrets of most basic imperium weapons, they take pride in perfection of their manufacturing process that never stops or go out of sink for more than 10000 years.
>>58081206

>>58081276

Glitches d100
No Glitches: This Legion is pure before the Omnissiah 1-40
no glitches great
this isn't shaping up to be a very average forge world
anyway
d100 for when the legion was created
>>
Rolled 87 (1d100)

>>58081339
>>
>>58081355
81–95 M41: The Time of Ending

quickly roll a d100 for great deeds

didn't even roll a 69
omnissiah dahm it
anyway d100 for figure of legend
>>
>>58081504
i like this idea
>>
>>58081504
All we have is build perfectly by instruction you sent to us. Yes whole planet. We even have words of your orders written along our streets builded to fulfill them.

So this why we are so bland. Every one is fear if they attach cog a bit differently we will be bombed to stone age again.

>>58081582
61-80 Master of Skitarii: A Forge World was saved from being consumed by the Tyranid fleet thanks to a new and innovative strategy thought of by this Master of Skitarii, which drew the Tyranid beasts into a trap, exterminating them completely.
i like that idea but i also like >>58081504

These are martians, but I think we'll need to extend the table to include tomb-raiding spec-ops types if this is any good.

52-68 Chaos Space Marines
maybe they ALSO think that no forge world could be THIS run of the mill so their dedicated to finding out what their hiding
>>
>>58081825
Its ipmossible that so many inqusitors visit that forgeworld only to check on lasgun production. They must build something big inside planet core!
>>
Given that they manufacturer both soldiers and their gear it should be that their officially biggest export is victory
>>
BLANDONIA II
there's nothing suspicious going on here

no really

we just make lasguns and other imperial guard weaponry

seriosly

that's it
>>
>>58081854
yes this!

The blandness attracts suspicious inquisitors, which attracts chaos marines which in turn attracts more inquisitors and so on

Poor fuckers just want to make a whole bunch of lasguns. There really is nothing here!
>>
>>58081905
>BLANDONIA II
imperial decree of exterminatus because there clearly had to be something going on there. seriously. I mean...right? Maybe? Oh fuck. no. no. We don't doubt ourselves. This was the right call.
>>
>>58081964
maybe they had to raise a titan legion to fend of the chaos space marines but that just made everyone even MORE suspicious
>>
What is the climate? How much of the surface has been developed?
>>
>>58081971
can I roll to see if there are xenos?
>>
>>58081905
This is a great world for a campaign.

Nominally independent forge world, yet still has close ties to the rest of the mechanicus and is mostly orthodox, certainly nothing an Inquisitor could get upset about.

Produces nothing but bulk guard equipment and perfectly valid clone soldiers.

Wiped out heretics with enthusiasm and stopped Tyranids by being smart.

Is it a perfectly normal forge world doing their best for the Imperium? Or is something more going on?

Could be either, great campaign hook.
>>
>>58082043
glad this turned out well
>>
>>58082059
hey. Here is the twist OP. your work IS NOT DONE. This forge world is one of two in the same system. Roll for it's evil twin. DO IT!
>>
9/10 on this world boyz. Also, could i get a link to the roll tables you guys are using?
>>
>>58082003
titan legions are cool but this might take away from the so average as to be suspicious aspect
then again the forge world also having a titan legion to fend of chaos space marines even though it's got a sizeable amount of skitari could add to that aspect as well
what do you guys think?
>>
>>58082180
Titans are cool, but the idea of the endless swarm of skit is nice too. its your story OP. direct us and in turn we direct you.
>>
>>58082148
that could be fun
>>58082175
here's the forge world table
https://1d4chan.org/wiki/Adeptus_Mechanicus_Forge_World_Creation_Tables
and here's the skitari table
https://1d4chan.org/wiki/Skitarii_Army_Creation_Table
>>58082180
so do i roll up a titan legion, an evil twin forge world or both
or neither
>>
::Report::
My investigation on the forge world of Blandus II has yielded nothing of interest. Literally, nothing. Every record I could get from the administratum or the planet itself is a textbook example of how a forge world should operate.

This cannot be.

An entire planet cannot be this perfect. Not one error, Not one mistake, Not one incident. Whatever heresy is at work here is so well hidden that it is invisible. The only way this could be possible was if the planet's leadership was in on it. I suspect the entire world to be corrupt and will act accordingly.

::End Report::
>>
>>58082241
evil forge world, and the titan legion is on a moon with its own thing going on. DO IT.

>tfw the other forge world is equally mundane.
>>
>>58082180
I think that this world started as the blandest forge world in existence. Then it raised it's tithe and fought some heretics. Then the Inquisition got involved, which drew unwanted Chaos attention. Meanwhile the average cog boy on the planet just wants to pump out lasguns.

Then they had to raise a titan legion to defend the world, then more Skitarii. So more Inquisitor's came. Along with more Chaos attention.

In the end there's an entire chaos crusade launched at this world and it ends up with a permanent fleet presence and a major Inquisitor stronghold keeping an eye on things. Meanwhile, they just want to make MORE LASGUNS.
>>
>>58082241
Do the titan legion.
>>
How many tech-adepts of Blandonia II does it take to change a glow-globe?

Just one. They are very efficient and have no sense of humour.
>>
>>58082232
ok i will
if you want to use BLANDONIA II in a campaign feel free to use whatever version you like
lets roll up a titan legion
starting with a d100 legio's mainstay engine

Warhound Pattern 1-9
Death-Bringer Pattern 30-39
i will go with the war hound pattern as it's the most mundane of the two (also the nines call to me) but the Legio could also have a larger then average amount of deathbringers as well
next up d100 for lead titan engine

Warlord Pattern 20-29
mostly warhound with a splattering of deathbringers and a warlord pattern at the front
now d100 for the warlords deeds of legend
>>
Rolled 3 (1d100)

>>58082521
>>
>>58082528
01-25 This Engine is remembered as the bane of the Orks, laying waste to whole Empires and countless Gargants and Stompas to such an extent that its name is known to the vile greenskins even to this day.
crushed some orks probaly why the Legio was raised in the first place
next up Homeworld
we have that already
age if the skitari were founded recently then so were these
strength d10 how many titans are there
>>
Rolled 5 (1d10)

>>58082595
>>
>>58082639
5-7 Half Strength - Scarred by war, the legion grows tighter.
maybe combat losses maybe only half were built the table says full strengh is 50 titans so perhaps BLADONIA II only bulit 25
20 warhounds
4 deathbringers
1 warmonger
seems more then enough to fend of some orks especially with skitari at their back
now deeds it's hard to have a contingent of giant mech without them doing at least SOME awesome shit and even the legio of BLANDOINIA II have some notable accomplishments to their name. it would be pretty weird if they didn't d10
>>
Rolled 41 (1d100)

>>58082709
Maybe all the nines mean that Tzeentch is the one keeping everything running so smoothly? Or the local inquisitor is grasping for reasons to justify over a hundred years of watching this place.
>>
Rolled 7 (1d10)

>>58082709
>>
Where do you guys find the roll tables for these threads?
>>
>>58082754
tzeentch has clearly made this planet run so smoothly to draw inquisition in from elsewhere. It's the perfect scapegoat
>>
>>58082754
i think the latter is more likely also it was a d10
>>58082758
7 Champion Slain - A mighty warlord renowned and feared by the forces of the Imperium was finally brought down by your Legio. possibly the warboss of the waaagh they were raised to fight
d10 for trophys
>>
Rolled 5 (1d10)

>>58082799

>>58082830
5 Shattered Blade - At the height of battle against the full force of the Eldar, your Titan shattered the blade of their mightiest Titan against its god-machine hide, suffering no damage in the slightest
9 Crusader's Banner - Your Legio was at the vanguard of an Imperial Crusade, serving as a beacon of glory and a spearhead of massacres. They won many honors for their actions.
i'm going to go with the crusaders banner as the forge world destroyed a heretek plant it makes sense that the legio acquired it then
also there's some serious shenanigans going on here
anyway it can't all be victories the legio has to have fucked up at Some point D15 to find out how
>>
Rolled 4 (1d15)

>>58082905
Is this it? Will the Inquisition's mad ramblings about a world being too perfect bear fruit? Is this the chink in the facade of normality that Banduis II has?
>>
Rolled 5 (1d15)

>>58082905
>>
>>58082946
4 Machine Unbound - Your Legio suffered defeat at the hands of the Tau and their foul Techno-Sorcery.
those darn blueberry's with the admechs main strength being their advanced technology and the tau being more technologically advanced then the ad-mech this is a very unremarkable defeat
anyway every legio has its quirks and omnissah knows that BLANDONIA II is defiantly no exception
d15
>>
Rolled 6 (1d15)

>>58083022
>>
>>58083060
6 Contempt of the New Way - Contempt for the Emperor and the Imperium.
certainly nothing strange for the ad mech that's for sure
next up allies their probably allies with another forge world just like blandonia but they may have some of their own
d15
>>
Rolled 1 (1d15)

>>58083060
And this roll, this roll right here, this fucking roll.
This is why every time the Inquisitors of the Sector convene, the one who is overseeing Blandonia 2 rants and raves that the entire planet should be pushed into the sun.

>>58083099
>>
Rolled 5 (1d15)

Hold on, let me summon TZEENTCH once more
>>
>>58083125
it's in the options table
>>58083128
1 Adeptus Astartes Chapter perhaps they fought with them on that crusade against that heretak world they destroyed and became battle brothers sounds about right
next up d10 for enemys
>>
Rolled 7 (1d10)

>>58083128
Let's see what merry enemies we have, here's hoping more bland.
>>
>>58083194
7 Traitor Titan Legio
they crusaded against some hereteks they probably met each other there
also the legios main enemies being an evil legio is pretty run of the mill
and therefore perfect
but wait there's more d15 for combat doctrine
>>
Rolled 7 (1d15)

>>58083262
Let's finish this shit off so we can talk about how this little planet in the ass-end of nowhere has got Orks, Hereteks, Tau, Chaos Space Marines, the Inquisition, some Space Marines, and a few Dark Eldar puttering about.
>>
>>58083302
Bulwark, makes sense considering all it's a clusterfuck of the galaxy's factions. I would imagine it's just a massive sinkhole, one faction drops in, causing others to respond, ad infinitum.
>>
>>58083302
7 Bulwark of Sturdiness - Hold that ground until all the enemy have thrown themselves against you and died.
since the forge-worlds skitari are basically guardsmen them and the legio fighting like the guard is pretty reasonable
>>58081964
this is the main reason they just want to make lasguns
>>
>>58083364
>this is the main reason they just want to make lasguns
When where is some meeting and one of the cogboys ask to do some flamers just for changing the mood other adeptus just show him array of imperial and chaotic spying devices that programmed to trigger on any word except "lasgun"
>>
>>58083302
>>58083364
suddenly this planet's existence is horrible. It seems to just be a magnet to attract unending seige. Its primary output is guardsman equipment, which equips its unending legions of Skitaari, who in turn die, endlessly, are salvaged, endlessly, against the flavor of the month that comes to claim this pointless planet, endlessly, because everyone seems to want it. The truth is, they just wanted to make lasguns.
>>
So to recap:
The Forge World is bland. It's name is bland. It's location is bland. What it produces is bland. Nothing special, nothing worse nor better than the average. Just bland.

>They create IG weapons in large volumes, partially to arm their cloned, augmented IG-Skitarii.
>When a world in their system turned Heretek, they raised a Titan Legion to take it back. As is proper.
>A Space Marine Chapter nearby helped.
>Said Legion adopted a Bulwark of Sturdiness doctrine to deal with the fuck-huge volume of less-than-lethal (to Titans) weaponry fielded by the Hereteks, and later Orks.
>They also met a Heretical Titan Legion over there.
>Some Orks saw a war going on over there and crashed their Roks to join in.
>Then a splinter of Tyranids came on by poach an isolated system, but the Forgemaster of the Forge World drew all of them to the Heretek world, bound them up with the Orks and Chaos forces, then Exterminatused the planet.

In the aftermath
>The Legio won many accolades and recognitions over destroying an entire planet full of inefficiency.
>Roving bands of CSM are still salty over what happened
>The other Forge World in the system is still there
>Inquisitor despatched to make sure all the Chaos is ded
>Some blueberries came by in the aftermath to test some of their filthy tech-sorcery on our Titans and destroyed a few before being wiped out completely alongside their tech. As is normal.
>The Traitor Titan Legio is carried about by the CSM. Also salty about what happened.
>Another Inquisitor despatched. Reasons not given
>There's also Dark Eldar for some reason.
>>
>>58083770
you can absolutely bet that the planet is absolutely nowhere of strategic importance as well. It's a complete anomaly why it even got noticed in the first place.
>>
>>58083805
we must now roll for the other forge world. as is correct.
>>
>>58083805
>>58083833
pretty much
>>58082043
>>58082255
this explains why the inquisitors are there pretty well
and the inquisitorial presence as well as the salty chaos space marines/Titans is what attracted dark eldar & tau as they to are convinced that the forge world is hiding something

the forge world is not
it really is just a regular forge-world that makes weapons for the guard
>>
>>58083869
the heratek forge world that got rekt?
maybe they set up shop somewhere else with whats left of their titan legio
>>
>>58083897
No. Turn out that during an Inquistorial census there was a small Forge World based upon the overly-large moon of a Gas Giant within the local system.

The reason why it was overlooked was because any deliveries from it to BLANDUIS 2 was erroneously recorded as inter-system deliveries instead of intra-system deliveries.
>>
>>58083973
so their hiding on a tiny moon?
i like that
>>
>>58083973
>>58084001
Sounds cool. Hereteks that survived the Exterminatus are hiding out on a Forge World that the other Forge World has forgotten about.
>>
>>58084058
they're hiding on a forgotten unnamed moon orbiting the gas giant BLANDIUS VI with whats left of their titan legion and whats left of their chaos space marines
that's pretty cool want to roll one up
>>
>>58084142
or make a second thread tomorrow
>>
I say we make this forgeworld a fallen one dedicated to tzeentch. THE ARCHITECT OF FATE WILLS IT!
>>
The ironic thing is that Blandius II is completely capable of making things besides lasguns and vatgrown skitarii, they just know that the second they do, all hell will break loose.

i'll definitely make a second thread tomorrow at around the same time i made this one
were we'll roll up the dark mechanus hiding on the tiny moon and the remains of the chaos space marines/fallen titans
it'll have this picture of the number nine as well
>>
>>58084393
but it's getting late wear i am so imma have to call it quits for today
this was a good thread though real lucky with the rolls
>>
