I've seen people posting this image lately. I'm the guy who made this post. Someone mentioned that he wanted to see the crazy system I mention in the OP of this thread. Do people still remember this and want to see it? I'm willing to post it, but only if people want to, because it's like twenty PDFs and they're all completely insane. I should also say that none of the documents, including the ones specifically about the rules, actually explain how the system works in detail, that's all stuff I learned as we played.
>>
Don't know if I will have the time to read through it right now, but someone will appreciate it. Do it.

Okay fine, I'll post. I should warn in advance that I don't have every document (there are things referenced that I don't have), but I think I have every important document. I'll answer questions if people have them.

Little background: I got invited to play in this crazy homebrew system by a friend who was in both this game and my game. They lost a player and needed a new guy and I happened to be open. I don't know how the GM made this system, but it makes no sense and all of the rules are either super complicated or just pure nonsense. You get an idea of the in-universe world from these documents, but trust me, it's a million times more insane than they imply. The greatest insanity scientists working with the most powerful computers in the world couldn't come up with this level of retardation.

I'll start with the basic rules documents first, but they won't help you much in trying to understand how bonkers the entire game is.

I joined in the middle of a campaign. The basic premise is that we're merchant-sailors working for a human city-state trying to help Noseman nationalists break away from their too-liberal empire because having pseudo-fascist crazy neighbors will weaken the Nosemen politically. So far we broke a blockade and provided the city with food, killed an imperial commander, and stole our allies' own blueprints for a new spell that blocks prophetic readings of your future.

You call upon the dreaded Unicycle of Violence. No one knows the thing’s origin, just what it does. It is
an enormous unicycle with a spiked tire. You sit upon it for the duration. It will roll automatically at
random targets and attempt to run them down for Mana*(Lvl+5) piercing damage. It has a movement of
20 squares. You cannot control it, but you can continue to cast or attack. You cannot dismiss this spell

Level: 4
Element: Water
Type: Active
Cast: 23
Mana: 23
Range: 10 squares
Area: 5x5 squares
Group: Invocation
Duration: 5 rounds
Stealth: No
Damage: See text
The Weeping Mistress of Incandescent Rainfall is the patron goddess of Wantantya, the Valley of Tears.
Legend has it that she cries because her lover left her for her sister, but what’s known for sure is that
she lives on a cloud that stretches almost the entire valley. She is blue-skinned, wears a thin toga, and is
gorgeous beyond words. Her prismatic hair waves in the wind and thunder and often stretches down to
the ground, where daring or stupid mortals can try to climb before it disappears. Those who succeed
and reach her nimbus castle are rewarded, though nearly all fail. As for this spell, upon casting it you call
a shade of the Weeping Mistress to float above the battlefield on her cloud. She will obey your
commands and has HP 2000 and Physical/Ethereal Defense/Soak/Move equal to your own. She will not
attack, but anything underneath her cloud is soaked in her tears. Allies (and you) are healed for 15% of
their max HP per round, and enemies are considered to be in rough terrain even if they can fly.

Choose a weapon at character creation. Unless you acquire a second weapon by means of a skill or
talent or something, that weapon is your only weapon for life. Mortals must bond with their weapons so
that they become a single entity (at least metaphysically); only immortals can use multiple weapons
without special training. Having your weapon destroyed is like losing an arm; having it lost subjects you
to so much ridicule that almost everyone just says that they were destroyed. You can replace a weapon
with a ritual, but it must be the same kind of weapon.

?????????????????
>>
>>60230532
I have difficulty fathoming why this mechanic exists, both in the system and in lore. How does this even work, do babies come out the pussy strapped or does the nursery have an armory and the first one the newborn looks at gets bonded?
>>
>>60230634
Children CARVE THEMSELVES FROM THEIR MOTHER'S WOMB, obviously. They then duel their mothers to see if they are worthy, and after some stitches mom goes and gets knocked up again.
>>
>>60230681
Well I can't say I don't admire the efficiency and BRUTALness of an autocesarean birth.
>>
>>60230681
So, what happens to the child if the mother wins? If the child is a girl, are they trained with the boys, or are they future breeding stock?
>>
>>60230634
Benefits the story, keeps murderhoboing for STATS to a minimum, allows plot hooks, less to keep track of, makes any character changes more meaningful, stops retarded shit like throwing equipment off of cliffs or at enemies. There's tons of benefits to this.
>>
>>60225941
>tan(2x)=tan(x)/2
>which also mean both the adjacent and opposite change by 2 at the same time apparently

I also have no idea what the fuck the "sin^2(x)+cos^2(x)=1" one is even supposed to do here.

>Her name is never whispered, not even by the most foolhardy. All temples and statues to her were torn down eons ago. No fewer than three separate secret cabals exist for no other reason than to ensure no one will ever uncover any information about her ever again, and they function by inducting new members and wiping their memories so they have to act without understanding their own actions, just on the off-chance that someone might telepathically read their thoughts. To the greatest scholars, she exists only as an abstract, as the possibility that there may be ancient gods no one remembers anymore, and that one of them might be a huge cunt. Just the absolute most unreasonable cunt who’s ever lived, who is to normal cunts what Olympus Mons is to a slight incline in Nebraska. Cast this spell on a target of any sapient race. When you do, you whisper the Forgotten Bitch’s name into his ear. Now he knows her, and she knows him. Out of sheer spite for the audacity of forgetting that she exists, she wipes out his entire species. All of their works and cities still exist, but they don’t, and their bodies don’t either.

For what I understand, you can't dispell magic in this system, there is no "Anti-Magic"
>>
>>60253132
Dispell element dispells spells that have a certain element.
I think, though, it isn't continuous, so logically a person will just reapply the spell in the next second/nanosecond. Probably not enough for him to bite it, even for Exist spell.

It needs more worldbuilding but it could work. The Idishi in particular sound rad as fuck, as do the Dadadadadadadada and Nosemen. Just needs some more lore, more hows, whys and whos, maybe a map, and you could construct a campaign out of it.
>>
>>60253667
It couldn't, it's fake.

The guy who first posted this did so years ago and vanished with no evidence that there was any real system, after plenty of people asked to see it. He isn't just going to show up years later and be like 'Oh yeah, here's that thing I've been meaning to bring around... Every day. For multiple years.'

Somebody cobbled together a humorous abomination and is playing it for laughs, no human being would be able to enjoy this and no one capable of constructing trigonothaumogy would also be young enough to think that this was even vaguely a good idea shy of 'but lol anon, we're all autistic on /tg/!' seal-clappers.

This is some advanced larping with the added bonus that the same seal-clappers will get this work immortalized on the wiki.

Which, honestly? I fucking love all of this. 11/10, damn son.

Why does having a high thought and high presence stat reduce the effectiveness of prayer? Do the gods just look at a high priest of their religion who converted tons of followers for them and say "You know what, this guy doesn't actually need the help. Imma answer the prayer of the career gambler with the high luck stat."
>>
>>60254454
The gods in this setting seem a little nuts anyway.
>>
>>60245420
He's most likely just written the document with himself in mind. He knows what "governs luck" means so he sees no point in explaining it further. Given that he most likely only intended for his own group of players see these documents it also makes sense for him to do it this way. If anyone has any questions about what any stat does more specifically they can just ask him directly. It's when you intend for other people to be able to use the system without your involvement that you need to explain further already in the documentation and, preferably, explaining it so that even an idiot could understand it.

HAIL TAGO AGOT, the Descending Hoof. Seemingly born for battle, he is a masterful combatant and nigh-unkillable by means magical or mundane. As Say-Tyr's mortal champion, he is blessed with goat-like deformities of the face, body, and feet. His appearance, combined with his mental disabilities and mad lust for bloodshed, has estranged him from the company of his fellow sapient humaniods.

However, Tago feels deep affection for his Sire's army of young offspring, and finds refuge from his loneliness in acting as shepherd to the flock of kids. He feels that the goatlings understand him in a way that people never have.

It's supposed to let you reduce your target's HP to a fraction of itself. For instance, if your target has 300 HP and 400 Mana, you could recalculate it to have 4 HP and 3 Mana.

Alternatively, say your teammate got all fucked up, and out of 50 HP and 70 Mana, is down to 3 HP and 4 Mana. You cast this spell and recalculate him to 40 HP and 30 Mana, or some other adjunct to pythagorian ratios.

How about I stat him ?
Here is Tago Agot, the descending hoof. Armed with his sheperd's staff, he brings the will of Say-tyr upon his ennemies as well as his allies. You usually see him surrounded by a flock of Say-Tyr's offspring that he brought back with him on the prime plane. However, the presence of the yound doesn't deter him in the slightest, especially if he has to protect them from a threat

I feel like there is actually a concept with some merit buried under all this insanity. Hashed out a bit better this could work as a universal system that takes an opposite approach to something like GURPS, where you have an anemic but flexible core that you layer on supplements/homebrew content that cover what is needed. Instead here you have a core where almost everything is rigidly defined, to the point where plugging in homebrew content could be easy as defining which of the 20+ stats is used and running from there.

Maybe I'm just retarded though.

Unemployed
You don’t exactly have a job, but that doesn’t mean you have no skills.
- Bum
Panhandle: When asking NPCs for help, you gain 30% to any social roll. If you succeed, their help will be
10% larger than it otherwise would have (like if they’d sent ten guys to escort you, they’ll send eleven
guys).
- Housewife
Home Away From Home: Whenever you camp out, you and your allies gain the full benefits of a
dedicated inn.
