>>61742657
Okay, so this god has one relic, a single artifact that he holds dear. Rolling to determine what exactly this relic is.
>>
>>61742693
Well I guess it'll be armor or what you guys want. Debate.
>>
Rolled 2 (1d10)

>>61742513
Forgot the Worshippers roll and ,mistook it for location, I'll roll Location to atone
>is worshipped by a very large number of people
>>
>>61742704
Personally, I think that his relic should should be a book of poisons and diseases, which he leaves in places where a sufficiently ambitious or devious noble might find it. It always finds his way back to him of course, but wherever it is found, the sovereigns fate is sealed
>>
>>61742704

Just to recap:
>domains are lies, disease, change, armor
>was formerly a demigod
>neutral evil
>worshipped by very large number of people
>lives in single location

and now we need a single relic. I'm thinking of some kind of device, that allows people to see negative emotions of others, or warn against the death of the user. The god keeps it at his/her lodge, and allows a select few to use it.
>>
>>61742750
I'll take it.
1d3 for abilities of Relic
>>61742755
>>
Rolled 3 (1d10)

>>
Rolled 1 (1d3)

>>61742767
>>
>>61742779
>Workforce is non-existent so god is forced to do work themself
Fits him very well
>>61742785
I think >>61742750 works perfectly for his purposes.
>>
>>61742779

God prefers to do all the work himself. So the god is a solitary figure.
>>
>>61741777
>>61741866
>>61741933
What the fuck
>>
Rolled 2 (1d3)

>>61742767
I hate tio burst you bubble, but you're reading that wrong. We roll 1d3 to determine how many abilities the relic has, then we roll an appropriate number of d10's to determine the exact abilities.
>>
>>61742798

Just flinging ideas out here, but maybe the god is the one who shifts form constantly.
>>
>>61742819
Perfect for a God of Lies and Poison, he sows discord and chaos among Nobles who play the Game. Keeps everyone on their toes.
>>
Rolled 7, 6 = 13 (2d10)

>>61742802

So we roll for two abilities, then, am I right?
>>
>>61742850
Yes, but given that the relic is unique, and we're apparently going with>>61742750 it's unnecessary.
>>
>>61741595

So to recap:

>lies, disease, change, armor
>was a demigod
>neutral evil
>worshipped by very large number of people
>lives in select location
>has a single relic, a book of poisons and diseases, which he leaves in places where a sufficiently ambitious or devious noble might find it. It always finds his way back to him of course, but wherever it is found, the sovereigns fate is sealed
>workforce nonexistent

>>
>>61742927

>>
>>61742970
How about the god is a shapeshifter, assuming whatever form is required for the latest scheme? Gender would hold no meaning for such a being.

I kinda feel the armor aspect has been overshadowed by lies and poison, couldn't it also work as a sort of "political protection" against assassination attempts, blackmailing and the such. As a result, he is worshipped not only to overthrow tyrants but also by rulers themselves. Considering his Tzeenchian "change" inclinations, he might even grant boons to both parties and just watch who wins in the end.
>>
>>61748056
Sounds perfect and appropriate for him, domains can have multiple meaning s after all.
>>
>>61748097
Yes, and when shit goes down they obviously would take more literal meaning. He doesn't really empower his followers' strength, but rather gives them heavy protection, while at the same time debuffing and causing delirious hallucinations to their enemies, ensuring that battles are always long, drawn out and most humiliating to his enemies as they rot, fight themselves and struggle to even scratch his chosen people.
Sasuga, kami-sama.
>>
Let's roll another god and try to link it somehow to the first god (the poison/lies god)
>>
Another little idea: lies are foul words aimed at deception, which I think we all can agree on. So what if bad lies, those that have been found out, attract literal diseases in this god's society? Meaning that bad liars are akin to lepers while people of high status and good skin are considered most dangerous. So lying is akin to gambling, the bolder the lie, the worse are potential effects. It could serve as a kind of regulating and restraining effect in a society built around god of lies, so its not only "HURR BACKSTABBING TO THE MAX" and people have actually to be thoughtful of their words.
>>
So what exactly would the god of gitbaggery be doing? He feels like he’d overall be the god of assassination and that’s his occupation, which his behelitesque assassin aid of an artefact would certainly support, but his physical form and lack of demonic host, as if he didn’t ascend properly when he gained divinity, makes you wonder what he’s up to and who he’s with. Is he running the equivalent of Masyaf? Is he busy committing and aiding assassinations? Is he hiding away from the world and the gods?

[S] does our god have a sacred animal? [/s]
>>
>>61757034
That should be added to the roll tables.
Maybe the Wolf, I know it sounds overused, or maybe the Owl?
>>
>>61757034
It feels like skybro should have some form of nocturnal bird associated with travel. Assassinman and volcanoman don’t really work with a sacred animal and animal lad has every animal under his domain already. Thieves, disease and fear guy hasn’t really been fleshed out, so it’s harder to make a judgement; he probably doesn’t need an animal but if he did have one, maybe a carrion bird would work?
>>
>>61756409
I'd like to help, but in my lack of creativity I'm going to put in my two cents saying lies/poison/change/armor should have a Cairhienen-esque people, small of stature and almost totally accustomed to telling half-truths and double-meanings hidden under laters upon layers of implications as a part of their daily lives. And once a year throw all propriety out the fucking door and go bananas for a couple days in celebration
>>
Idea; what if the liar god obtained god hood through lies? He tricked had has his followers trick people to worship him under another guise; perhaps he pretends to be a god of trickery (the domains work if you leave out the disease), masquerades as another god, or even just goes with whatever deciet would work on a given target. Combine his actual followers with his pseudofollowers and he receives enough power of faith to be a god in his own right to an extent. This is the reason why he has no unholy host nor astral form and why his artefact is so subtle; he’s more of a demigod+ than a true divine being.
>>
So, are we going to be making a dedicated worldbuilding thread for this or is it too soon?

Guess I write a short summary of the road so far and roll one up.

1. Neutral Evil god of lies, diesiese and change. Who walks among the people of the world.

I guess that's the evil daughter of the God of Truth. Fits the court intrigue theme Anon set up, also has no workforce.

Has a fuckton of worshippers. This sure is a dark setting...

Relic: Book of Poisons and Desieses

2. Nautral Good God of Stars, Space, Truth and Roads, is the dad of the Evil Godess and the Neutral God of Animals.

Worshipped by a lot of people and is Onipresent.
Does most work on his own.
Relic is single Torso Armour piece.

3. God of thieves, desiese and fear, who worked his way up from mere mortal to Godhood and gained a decent following and has an Axe... also has a massive amount of demons serving him.

4. God of Vulcanoes who is one of the original Gods and is neutral Evil and also has lot's of worshippers, has his own realm which is a fucking huge Vulcanoe

>Vulas, more commonly know as the Erupting Hunger, seeks to drown all life in liquid fire. To aid him in this madness, he crafted twenty-two living artifacts that he named "Flame Bearers" which resemble massive dragons, made of roiling, bubbling magma. Where these constructs go, the ground is consumed by fire, and Vulas laughs from the heart of his plane, the Endless Eruption.

5. Brother of the Godess and son of the head of the pantheon. Worked his way up from demigod, but refused the truth of of his father and continues to preach the one of animals and manifests trough them as a truly neutral arbiter.

World creation idea for setting.
The setting seems to have large followings for evil Gods and our "prime" evil God is rule of Vulcanoes.

Maybe once there was just the Sky and the Sky Father and all things were good, but out of the primordial see Vulcas has rised out flaming mountains and all life descends from the primoridal creatures which then crawled onto it.

I guess we finally have another good god. If they had agriculture I’d immediately call them god of the harvest, but alas. I’m loathe to kick skybro to the curb as the big good of the setting, but this only kind of has to be the deuteragonist. What effect does the scythe have? Does their domains of life and light make it a tool of the harvest, or does the domain of spirits give it a more psychopompic role?

>>
Rolled 5 (1d10)

>>61769325
OK, not doing the whole stick for 13 relics because the rgn-table fits badly.

None of her relics are combat based.
Some are toys and one is a cloak which when put on makes a kid look like an adult.

So in essence it's a god of Childhood and never growing up.
We lack a good mother for her, maybe the primal God of "Blood and Happiness" is her mother. She used to be a good godess of just happiness, but wen't crazy because her husband the Sky Father kept cheating on her.

So now she essentially has her own realm into which only children who died go.

Lastly rolling Workforce.
>>
>>61769391

The workforce is hosed from the dead kids from her realm. They are our equivalent of the tooth fairy and kinda like Peter Pan.

Some children who are abused and pray really hard can go to her realm, but once they grow up are thrown back into the material realm.

The only one to use demons is the ascended mortal who cheated his way into Godhood, probably by fooling the Godess of lies herself. He's the antihero to the God of hunting and law who wants give humanity hope for a better tomorrow. He also gives hope to mortals, hope that they too can trick and overcome the largely assholish Gods of the setting by just being resourceful. Maybe his demons were all mortals who tried to trick Gods but unlike him failed. But before they were eternally damned by the Gods they get rescued by our ex-mortal god and offered to become demons in his army or face their punishment alone. This way he can manage to build a substantial force over time on tne expense of gullible mortals who inspired by his example, think they too can become Gods. He has a substantial following because even if he's kind of an asshole he still takes care of his own and doesn't let other Gods interfere, kinda like a mafia boss.

>did most of the angels rebelled against their patron gods save for GoWaL's legion?
>are the rebelling angels cast away in punishment or biding their time to strike again?
>are demons formed only after mortals are scorned by the gods?

I think we first need to set up the world becfore we can tackle that so either later part of thread 2 or thread 3 alltogether.

I'll go set i up now.

Fine. Will probably be forgotten by then. How many gods do we plan to have for this pantheon?
>>
>>61772793
The amount of Gods can be whatever desu. we have fuckton of demigods though and not all of them have a mom or dad.

Newxt thread GO! Go! Go!

Maybe angels have authority issues and get sent to GoWaL to get whipped back into shape since she knows what makes them tick
>>
>>61776502
GoWaL?
>>
What table are you using to roll this?

This one second thread took off so you can roll it there though.

My turn.

>Name : Ylunativa
>Goddess of Moon(s), Age, Agriculture and Blood.
>Was a mortal before becoming a goddess.
>Lawful Neutral.
>Worshipped by a decent number of people.
>Doesn't have a set home and travel around.
>Three relics.
>A paintbrush. Painting the symbol of the goddess on the belly of a pregnant woman, during childbirth, with the woman's own blood, guarantees her a peaceful and painless delivery.
>A staff made of an unknown wood which, when used in a particular way by its owner on a full moon night, rejuvenates him by several and protects him from diseases and injuries until the next full moon.
>A helmet that gives its wearer, when it is dark, the ability to manipulate blood (purify it of any poison, boil it in the veins of a human being, make it gush from your limbs and harden it to use it as a weapon or armor, etc...). Probably one of the most dangerous artifacts that exist.
>Workforce is non existent.
