Let's roll a Planet.

1d100 for Planet Class
>>
Rolled 37 (1d100)

>>73457352
>>
>>73457376
> Civilized World
A World left alone for a very long time, similar in structure to Terra in the early Decades of the 21st Century. Worlds like this are often characterized, by a high level of political and cultural organisational.]

Roll 2d20 for Tech level.
>>
Rolled 19, 14 = 33 (2d20)

>>73457555
>>
>>73457604
The technological level of this world, still low by Imperial Standards, but very high by Standards of Civilized Worlds.

Most of the more advanced technologies of the Imperium have made it's way here in spite of the Primitive Political structure of the planet. Implying a recent push for bringing the Planet up to Imperial technological standard.

1d100 for Star Size
>>
Rolled 47 (1d100)

>>
>>73457766
The Star is Medium, no different from the Sun of holy Terra.

>>
Rolled 3, 3, 4, 4, 1 = 15 (5d10)

>>73457884
>>
>>73457937
The Administratum has a relatively minor presence along with the Mechanicus and Ministorum. The Inquisition and Astra Telepatica seem to also have recently set up a presence on this world though it is rather minor. Generally the presence of all Imperial structures seems to be unusually low on this planet, especially for their level of their recent technological development.

roll 3d100 for size, axial tilt and length of day
>>
Rolled 23, 77, 36 = 136 (3d100)

>>73457977
>>
>>73458005
The world is small, not much smaller than Holy Terra, more comparable to Mars, but it's axial Tilt is higher than either. With Temperatures differing widely between parts of the world. The Day on the world is 21h, meaning not very different to holy Terra.

3d100 for length of year, satellites, gravity
>>
Rolled 23, 86, 24 = 133 (3d100)

>>73458103
>>
>>73458249
At 180 terran days the year is short, but what this planet lacks in year length it makes up for with an unusually large amount of moons for it's size which is 9.

The gravity of the planet is rather standard at 0.9 G.

3d100 for atmosphere, hydrosphere and temperature
>>
As long as the tilt is under 45°... At least I don't have to watch another episode of /tg/ smoothbrains desperately trying to understand how that even works.
>>
>>73458457
Nah. 26-35

...what is there to understand? Axial tilt is not that complicated.

I just hope we write up some fluff with this, saw a few threads like this over the last few days and all of them were just rolled numbers and no fluff at all not even worth archiving.
>>
>>73458499
tldr if the tilt is over 45, anything resembling earth seasons and climates gets thrown out the window. Half the planet would be frozen for half a year and the warmest regions would be around 45N and 45S, not the equator.
>>
>>73457977
It could be that the planet is home to many lesser and less favoured order of the Mechanicum that Mars refuses to recognize for political reasons, thus making them appear to have less of a presence on paper.
>>
>>73458683
That could be a thing. The question is what sort of Order of the Mechanicum would be "odd" enough to be rejected by the Admech, but not heretical enough to be considered heretics?
>>
>>73458735
Some orders that kept the Legio Cybernetica, allowing the planet to punch above it's apparent strength and also demanding a degree of technological and industrial sophistication.

It's not true A.I., the local cog-boys would claim, because the robots don't think like people and so aren't a violation of The First Commandment. They're possibly slightly smarter than a sheep dog but not by much.

There could be one soft-exiled order that is way more into bio-mods than most of the ad-mech. They see the human form as holy, as all the Imperium does, but like the Ad-Mech see it as an unfinished product. Unlike the ad-mech they then start Frankenstiening it up with custom made gen-spliced organs and shit. They've never made a spliced human and never will, they know what line not to cross.

Polythiest Mechanicum that sees the Omnissiah as the head of a pantheon, his first-born son rules over all in this world and is known as Emperor.
>>
Rolled 31 (1d100)

>>73458415
rolling 1d100 for atmosphere to make room for other anons to rolls as well
>>
>>73458869
Polytheist Mechanicum definitely seems like a neat idea. Maybe they integrated parts of the world's original culture into their own?

Most Polytheistic religions for some reason have Thunder being the Head of the Pantheon. So the Omnissiah could have merged with the local Thunder God with the Emperor being his son. The more problematic part could be the locals believing in further Polytheistic Gods like Loyalist Primarchs or imperial saints merged with local deities.

On the other hand the Local polytheistic cult could represent various branches of industry. Explaining why the planet is in a somewhat politically and culturally divided state.
>>
>>73458968
The Atmosphere is normal and safe to breathe.

2d100 for Hydrosphere and Temperature.
>>
>>73458981
The "main" branch of the local faith is that the Omnissiah is their Law God as much as a Forge God. He builds the universe and it opperates on measurable and good predictable principles. He is god of the machine, he is the machine, the universe is the machine, we are part of the universe, Good and Pure humanity is His will made manifest. Pure humanity is humanity that by definition remains true to its' purpose.

His first-born was The Emperor, spawned as cleanly as Athena from the brow of Zeus.

From the Emperor spawned in a similar manner were the Primarch demi-gods. Here it get's murky. Some say that the Primarchs had mother's with such names as Jenetia Krole, Honen Mu and Rukhsana Saiid. Others say that the Emperor broke himself apart, a crippled champion dismembering himself and those pieces became his demi-god proginy with the Emperor cheating [Expunged] by using the golden throne.

Exactly what each primarch was god of, the nature of the Emperor and if the Omnissiah had any other, lesser, children is where the differences between each nation's religion really come from.

From the outside it's oviously the result of outsiders re-painting older beliefs in Ecclesiarchy, but you won't be able to convince them of that.
>>
Rolled 69, 69 = 138 (2d100)

>>73459003
>>
>>73459123
The maybe oddest part of the belief system is that the Omnissiah had other Children, traitorous evil ones. Ones which made the Xenos and desecrate his work trough their very being.

The locals believe that various types of Xenos represent their sins and if you do not act with accordance to the Laws of the Omnissiah and his most beloved son the Emperor in your next life you will be reborn as a Xenos. This mentality though also manifests itself in an odd form of pity for the Xenos. It is only right to kill them as fast as possible to end their suffering, but it is also advised to bury their corpses with honors and cover them in holy talismans in hopes of their souls finding redemption in their next life.
>>
>>73459155
Nice, nice.

This world is damn, wet and moist. Far from a water world, but one could not find a desert on it however much one looked. The World is also unusually warm. Mixed with it's high axial tile it makes it covered in endless massive monsoons.

6d100 for terrain types
(a minum of 2-6 I leave some redundancy)
>>
>>73459257
dice+6d100
>>
>>73459216
That's one belief.

Another is that as they are part of the ones capable of reason (which obviosuly excludes shit like orks and 'nids) are not without the slim hope of redemption under the firm but guiding hand of Humanity. They'd be kept as pets, half-people, lesser subjects at best.

If you want to see the real horrors spawned by the Omnissiah then look at creations older than the Emperor. Emperor was his first born son, these things came out without being whole enough to call "son". The Four Wretched, the unwanted children and the cancer in the flesh of the universe, the mistake and sickness of God.

No prayers should be offered to them, only curses. It is the true purpose of humanity to slay their minions, to drive back their deamons, to impose order on their realms and exorcise the tumor and cure the illness. With fire and sword and firepower and faith. Always with faith.
>>
>>73459305
Still most dismiss the existence of the Four Wreched, or believe they are born of something seperate from the Omnissiah directly opposing it.

Those who do hold silly believes of redeeming xenos while alive do know to hide those believes... Others wish to enter the service of a Rogue Trader to act on their beliefs.

This world is rocky and sandy.

The climate oscilates between sandy floodplains, grassy swampy and rocky highlands and and plain flat rock. A world covered in eternal rainfall, rocks and grass with the highest mountains barely resembling Terran Hills.

Maybe this poverty in life pushed them towards a fascination in technology? Towards a planet-wide worship of the Omnissiah and his many sons.

This is the 3rd roll of 69 on this table. I really feel like Slanesh wants in on this world.

This world has a meager population of 50 million. Likely the combination of mostly lacking plant life and 40k not understanding scale.

While the world itself is divided in many states and splinter groups the position of Planetary governor, while mostly honorary is hereditary and stretches back to the day the Imperium rediscovered this world.

1d10 for trade goods
>>
Rolled 5 (1d10)

>>73463516
>>
>>73462154
It's a world with nine moons, this planet has chronic tides. And it's very wet. Everything lives on boats, can swim, glid for at least 12 hours at a time or can survivre being uder water for extended time. Usually salt water.

Ther's the usual amount of techtonic activity, the problem is that any mountains that get pushed up get rained on or serfed to death pretty quick. The result of this is that although the planet is mostly water it's not very deep with the differance between land and sea being largly a matter of opinion.

Half the islands are ancient coral reefs rather than the usual result of techtonic movment or volcanic hot spots.

The planet is 15% "land" if you count the salt marshes, mud flats, beaches and sand bars but actual "dry in all but the worst tide and storm combo" land is probably less than 5%. On the positive side if you know how to fish to even the most basic level you won't go hungry because the marine life is extremely abundant. Just don't kill an albatross or the locals will cut you up so fine the small fry won't have to chew.

>>73463516
The population is a result of the amount of land available. The cities are pretty vertical, space is at a premium.
>>
>>73463549
>>73463606
>>73459123
The main export of this world is weapons, the few stable cities on this planet are covered in grand forges where weapons of high quality not much lesser than of a dedicated Forge World are produced. Maybe that is why the odd local faith is tolerated?

The people of this world have always looked up at the sky seeing 9 malevolent Gods cursing the world with endless Tsunamis and taifuns. This has bred a hardy and innovative people. They invented diving suits before they invented proper steel. Their grand nomadic fleets traverse the endless ocean dodging the endless storms sending divers down to mine for metals, only to then brig them to the grand forge cities standing atop the odd cliffs of dead coral and salt.

What is the name of this planet?
roll 1d12 for defenses
>>
>>73463721
In these more enightened times the 9 moons are not seen as the 9 fallen angels in a literal sense, but as a physical reminder of the fallen 9.

The locals in days past made what metal tools they needed out of bog-iron. The boats are all made of resins and hide and wood even to this day as metal is valuable. In these more modern times it's valuable because of the cost of extracting it from the moons and transporting it down to the surface and of course most of it ends up in rade to the Imperium as weapons and componants.

The Forge Cities of the planet once upon a time were the great maunfatoriums of the system, churning and hammering out weapons blessed by His forge red light. But economics being what they are it's become easier to set up the forges on the moons and make things on site. The Forge cities now forge soldiers.

Not that the old factories are silent. Oh my no. When the more acceptable brotherhoods moved out other, more fringe, groups moved in whilst the rent was cheap; the battle-smiths of the Legio Cybernbetica.
>>
>>73463904
While indeed many locals believe the moons represent the fallen 9 they, it is a taboo to say so to outsiders or even acknowledge in conversation. Instead the names are skirted around, avoided as mentioning the names is bad omen.

As with most of the Imperium the existence of the Legio Cybernetika slowly faded. He heretical tech priests integrated among the locals giving birth to the odd polytheistic mix of local, imperial and martian faith practiced by the planet. Now the Soldiers of the world still call themselves the "Legio" as as the metallic warriors of old they seek to be of strong will and body no weaker than Iron.

The Forges are still known as Forges forges for the spirit and the future of the world, they serve as landing platforms and military training grounds as well as places to house visitors from the wider imperium.

Some Terran visitors have noted that the locals resemble the polynesian people's of ancient Terra, as the Local Heretical tech priests have learned to merge their mechanic augmentations and connect them with thin cables going under their skin akin to tattoos. Tattoos the locals adopted for religious reasons as well. Giving praise to the Omnissiah and his son the Emperor trough the perfect canvas of their skin.
>>
>>73464270
It's not that the Cybernetica has faded, as such.it's that they became less fashionable among the Imperium. The local robe-lads followed suit because they knew when not to push their luck and they were already on thin ice with the whole cosmology thing. The thing is though that the robots are clinically immortal, they power down easy and just sit there gathering dust like sleeping dragons. There are some warehouses in each city that nobody seems to go in or out of. There are runours that they are haunted or that the Inquisition use them to store cryo-prisoners in or they're deep-stack hard copy archives for the Administratum or may other things. Truth is that it's where the robots sleep, don't wake them without a specilist and ear protection because they're typically grumpy first thing in the morning and they'll yell at you in machine swear words.

They've faded in that people have forgotten about them.

The tech-priests then went off to find new ways to annoy their off-world brothers.

Those grand catacombs stretch far and wide with religious seals and ornate decorations covering the walls. Those ancient tombs are secret grounds for the Tech priests of this world who instead of red-bronze robes dawn white and blue instead to symbolism the endless blue seas and the white salt-coral land. Many precautions are taken so the ancient Machines of the Legio Cybernetika never fall to chaos... going as far as making deals with Rogue traders to experiment on the T'au self-thinking machines who seem to resist falling to Chaos.

I think that it's more on the lines of that someone just realized what was already there. The Imperium is a bit iffy about Robots to put it mildly and even ones with the attitude of a very loyal dog and the brain power of a slightly dim cuttlefish spook them. There's no way that they convince the local cog-heads to take them behind the barn and put a bullet in their brains and they can't force them to do it because even if the more acceptable red-robes hate them they will support them against outside interferance.

They might have omens or strategic projections that make it also a good idea for other reasons but "robot army" is always a consideration.
>>

Ah, the damn main Mechanicus! They sent their best friends to look over our shoulder! An Iron Hands successor chapter. At least they also are into tech just like us.

They are a product of the 17th founding, which means while sent to watch over us they have been here for a while, slowly integrating into local culture. Among the Polytheistic Locals they are seen as the Demigod sons of Ferrus Manus the divine patron of great Warriors and blacksmiths.

Let's see the Gene Seed Purity and Chapter Demeanor.

Also some of them want pet robots to take on campaign with them and that makes the people responsible for authorizing the founding cry.

By the Omnissiah and his Son, we have a Mutation and an unorthodox one for an Iron Hands successor Chapter on top of that!

The older generation, who also wanted to go on adventures with a robotic pet dog when they were young, are the ones who make the descisions and they say no. And it's not up for debate. Let sleeping dragons lie, don't prod the primeval terror, don't exceed the already considerable leeway the Imperium has afforded them and the only time the monster gets out of the box is if the planet gets seriously invaded because they won't be going off world and they should be easy to herd back into the box.

This one is particularly interesting because of our constant rain. Having a planet that's in perpetual overcast definitely means that we're well suited to the low light environment. Plus, all of our space marines wear sunglasses. We're cool as fuck.

This chapter deviates in small but noticeable ways from the Codex Astartes, viewing it more as a helpful guide than holy writ. >Endure Anything: Training in this chapter emphasizes the need for any squad to be ready to endure any trials they find themselves in. They produce tough, durable brothers with diverse specialties.
The galaxy is a harsh place on a good day, and the enemies to be slaughtered are nigh on endless in number. To this end, great care is taken to train every Battle Brother to be able to withstand any amount of torment his foes may bring to bear, and every squad is equipped to handle virtually anything it comes across.
>Modified Jump-Pack: Primarily seen in Chapters that favor the Assault Combat Doctrine, Battle-Brothers from this Chapter modify their Jump-Packs (with a Tech-Marine’s help of course) to provide a more glorious sight to their allies and a more terrifying one to their enemies. Examples: Jump-Pack’s created in different shapes such as angel wings.
Fitting for the focus on melee combat, the Astartes of this chapter have modified lump packs. Perhaps better maneuverability, improved flight capabilities, we'll have to expand on this later.

My thought here is that their modified jump packs are installed into their boots: After all, on a world of constant rain, outward exhaust ports and the other necessary things that let full jump packs work would be in danger of water damage. Interesting side note on the planet. In Philipinian mythology Earth once had 9 moons, but a giant snake ate all of then, but the people of the planned played drums or something so the Serpent puked one of the moons back out.

Maybe we could name the Planet after the serpent?

Oh I absolutely love that. Gives us some kickass iconography too, and we could have an entire thing about us being "the ones who hold up the gods" in a kind of idea of the marines dedicating their lives to be in a sense, Atlas figures for the divine. To sacrifice yourself in order to raise the holy and the faithful above, and to be as iron so that the foes of that faith cannot drag the gods down to them.

Considering we have minor codex divergences I propose that we have 9 companies instead of 10 in the Space Marines. Considerng we don't have a Chapter Master instead there is a "council of 9" where the representatives of each company discuss more important issues.

Each Company recruits from a certain Nation from Bakugawa.

The 1st Company recruits from the Forge Cities, specializing in Techmarines and Chaplains.

The 2nd Company recruits from the Chuzata Pirates, a nomadic nation of raiders not much different fromthe Monghols.

The 7th Company Recruits from the Anizay Republic, a nation which is rather Advanced in medicine Producing many Apothecaries.

Instead of having Company numbers on their Armor they have intricate tattoo-like designs identifying them.

In rare cases where an Elite Force is needed, out of the most competent Marines from all 9 companies a Taskforce of 100 is created.

I like Iron Wardens, but I want to say something with that iconography maybe could work with their planet being basically all rain all the time. Call them the Iron Dawn, or the Iron Morning. Their icon is them making the sun rise, under the halo of the Omnissiah, and those few times where the monsoons break and sun shines on their world are probably moments of rapture and beauty to them.

>The last time that the Iron Dawn had a champion of its first company was when it had a Chapter Master itself. Their Chapter Master was never anything less than a frontline commander: He would never lead his men anywhere that he would not be right alongside them, shoulder to shoulder with the First Company as they fought back against the enemies of Bakunawa.
>This continued until the darkest day in all of the planet's history, and in turn the site of one of its greatest triumphs against evil: The Bloody Crown
>On the equinox, the day where the nine moons stand in radial symmetry around the northern hemisphere of the planet (forming a "crown" or the tines of a gear, an auspicious, dangerously stormy, and sacred day for the Bakunawans, a chaos warship burst free of the warp and into orbit.
>Led by the dread Arrathax Khal, a Daemon Prince of Khorne, the ship carried with it a force hell-bent on destruction and wanton slaughter. It was too close for the outward defenses to repel it, too sudden due to the cursed and capricious nature of the warp to muster proper defenses. They descended upon the cities of Bakunawa without mercy. Men, women, children, none were safe.
>The Iron Dawn and the guardsmen of the planet rallied, but they were fighting a losing front from the get go, unable to properly set up a defensive line. Slowly the wave of berserkers and madmen were grinding down even their endurance. As the siege lengthened, unending, some even spoke of letting loose the automatons from beneath in the vaults. To do the unthinkable, if it meant protecting their world from these monsters.
>Then the First Company came.
>They arrived on primitive ships, sailing across the waves when the storms grounded their skimmers. They braved the dangers of the monsoons and the tidal waves, crashing the ship's prow into the line of the enemy. They leapt free, guns blazing, fearless and unstoppable.

>He met the Chapter Master on the field of battle, scything through the First Company like a tidal wave. Empowered by the bloodshed of the thousands of civilians who had died in the initial assault, he was unstoppable. The First Company held valiantly, but slowly, surely, they began to falter. Slowly, surely, they began to die.
>The Chapter Master swung his axe into the daemon prince, only for it to be met with a strike of his blade, the impact shattering the ancient power weapon and flinging the Chapter Master to the ground. Arrathrax Khal taunted the fallen astartes, raising his hellblade to finish off an almost-worthy foe.
>Then the Chapter Master Struck. Clutching the severed head of his power axe in hand, he launched himself forward into the demon's throat, piercing him through the side on the hellblade as he rose. The Daemon Prince was stunned.
>He tried to dislodge the Chapter Master, but he could not. The astartes, fueled by some unknown strength, pulled himself closer. He yanked the axe-head free from the demon's throat, then brought it down again. And again. And again. The surrounding spawn of chaos and surviving marines alike watched in awe and horror as the invincible figure of the daemon prince died, blow after blow caving in his throat and severing his head.
>They watched, as the Chapter Master raised the axe-head to the sky, the dawn breaking through the clouds and illuminating him in a column of light, blood glinting off the golden sun and iron ring in his fist.

Maybe that is the reason the Iron Dawn and people of Bakugawa truly hate the Eldar of Ver'Nam.

The local faith clearly stipulates that the Deities which made the Xenos betrayed the Omnissiah. That to be a Xeno is a punishment for having lived a life of sin as a human... yet those disgusting Eldar are leading HUMANS astray. Behind the Craftworld a fleet of seemingly imperial ships always follows, but those are Traitors. Disgusting renegades who chose to abandon the light of the Omnissiah and his son of their own free will.

> The Examinations of Sister Aurellia
Recently our Order has been offered the Great Honor to fight alongside the Adeptus Astartes, though the circumstances were anything but pleasant.

On the world of Hrothgar-5, the Space Marines were to reinforce a planet against an Eldar Invasion, but the unorthodox tactics of the Xenos have proven themselves to be a problem. In fact for weeks after the Astartes came to reinforce the Planet they did not encounter a Single Eldar, until a carefully prepared Ambush by Rangers caught them by surprise, and they found themselves split up as their supply lines were cut and the local forces whom they were supposed to aid turned against them. After the chapter managed to reunite and reestablish supply lines it turned out that further spies have infiltrated the Ranks of their chapter serves and unsuccessfully attempted to poison them. Even after months of bombardment and constant warfare the Space marines were unable to locate the Headquarters or any major bases the Xenos and their Human allies were operating from. Our Order was asked for assistance when the Space Marines discovered that an attack of Howling Banshees was in fact just a distraction for further obstruction of their supply lines and the destruction of vessels which would allow them to leave orbit.

In spite of our aid losses continued to accumulate both among the Astartes and among our Order while little to no progress was made in regards to the Eldar. As such we assisted in the retreat of Imperial forces and evacuation of citizens.

> The Planet of Bakunawa and the Iron Dusk
The Planet of Bakunawa is a planet roughly the size of Mars, but covered in endless ocean with the only land being archipelagos scattered around the ocean without a major continent. The land that exist is barren, at most covered in patches of grass, if even those have not been displaced by the grand Vertical cities which cover the little land available.

As is usually expected the first person that was appropriate to greet when visiting the Planet was the Planetary governor, though apparently he holds little importance. During the Era of the Great Crusade the Kingdom of Kalik was the largest nation on the Planet thus their King was designated as the governor, but since then that nation has long disappeared and the House Halasayidda now only hods the title of Planetary governor along with being a relatively rich noble family.

The people of this world live as the moons and sea dictates, due to it's slightly lower gravity large waves form easier and it's orbital tilt causes the constant emergence of hurricanes and taifuns. The Cities of this planet also known as "Old Forges" are surrounded by thick walls out of metal and stone which often branch out into stone lines entering the sea. Those exist to resist Tsunamis and Hurricanes. Most of the inhabitants of the Planet live of the bountiful seas, traveling in boats made out of hide and bone. Many nations exist all migratory traveling the seas, eternally vigilant dodging storms. Still in spite of this hostile environment and odd political structure this world is known for it's Weapons. those weapons are crafted by the members of the local Branch of the Cult Mechanicus in 9 Grand Forges each located on one of the 9 Moons. Said forges produce weapons on Paar with ones produced in Forge Worlds closer to the heart of the Imperium, though of course in lower numbers.

> The Planet of Bakunawa and the Iron Dusk Cont.
The Iron Dusk seem to be a standard Space marine Chapter. They are descendants of the Iron Hands, which is rather rare and they also only have 9 Companies instead of 10.
Said companies seem to have a high degree of autonomy and are not differentiated, by number, but with elaborate ritual tattoo-like patterns on their shoulder pads. Unlike most Chapters which use a whole world for recruitment and then assign recruits to companies, in the Iron Dusk each Company recruits only from one chosen nation of Bakunawa and each company has their own methods of of selecting recruits.

Otherwise the only odd thing about this chapter worth mentioning would be their adherence to the branch of the Imperial Cult and localisation of their Jump packs on their legs. Unlike classic Jump packs this allows for easier traversal of wet areas and bodies of water as the Astartes are able to seemingly walk on water using them.
>>
>>73474266
seems good.
>>
>>73474345
> The local Faith
Odd forms of the Imperial Cult are coom, most isolated worlds worship the Emperor in unorthodox ways be it as a Sun God or God of Humans. It is rare though for a world of such a level of technological sophistication to retain their odd local religious beliefs.

Whereas it is widely accepted that the Emperor is the Omnissiah, this world treats the Emperor as the son of the Omnissiah his firstborn most beloved and only loyal Son. The Omnissiah created the Universe whereas the Emperor created Humanity so it may inhabit it. Then the Emperor created the Primarchs to guide humanity. The Omnissiah had other children though ones which betrayed him and and jealous of the Emperor made their own races betraying the Omnissiah.
The denizens of Bakunawa seem to believe in reincarnation where each type of Xenos represents major sins or flaws and that if you practice Sin you shall be reborn as a Xenos in your next life.
> T'au
Naivity, Cowardice and Conformity
> Orkz
Brutality, Lust for battle and Childishness
> Necrons
Rejection of Humanity and Longing for Death
> Tyranids
Greed and Gluttony
> Eldar
Arrogance, Lust and Entitlement

This belief though also gives rise to an old tradition the Bakunawari hold, and that is the tradition of honorable burial for Xenos. It is hoped that if a Xenos is buried in soil surrounded by holy seals and prayer beads he may be able to repent in the afterlife and be reborn a Human in his next life. If burial is impossible it is custom to at least throw a fist of salt onto the corpse and say a prayer, as salt is seen as the equivalent of soil on this world. The Natives also believe the 9 moons to belong to 9 evil deities, who bring storms and bad waves.

This belief finds another form in what the Iron Dusk believe. While part of the Politheistic religion they focus on the worship of the Trinityof their creation: the Omnissiah, the Emperor and Ferrous Manus, often referring to them as the Holy Trinity.
>>
>>73474677
> Extinct forms of the Local Faith
There is other beliefs which supposedly the locals once held, but being heretical are not extinct. (or that's what the sister was told)

> The 9 moons and 9 evil deities are the 9 Primarchs which feel during the Great Crussade
> The Omnissiah had 4 more children before the Emperor (the Chaos Gods) who were rejected by him for they were vile abominations
> There is an evil God (Chaos) who is the opposite of the Omnissiah and he too has 4 Children as vile and evil as him.
> Under the crust of the planet an army of metallic angels sent by the Omnissiah to protect this planet reside.
> If you convert a Xenos to the Faith in the Omnissiah and Emperor he is redeemed and will uppon death be certainly reborn into a human. (some say he will turn into a human then and there!)
> The Younger traitorous Sons of the Omnissiah had more children.

It's not actually for certain if these faiths are heavily suppressed or extinct or not.

On the one hand the Sisterhood of Steel, a cadet house of the Order of the Silver Lilly origionally placed by the Missionaria Galaxia, who have been stationed on this planet for a long time claim it is so and they have never in their deed in the wider galaxy ever given reason to doubt their faith.

On the other hand if such heresies did exist it's debatable if they could actually do shit about it due to the special status of astartes homeworlds. Add to this that the Sisterhood of Steel have been recruiting exclusivly from Bakunawa for a great many generations it's not unreasonable to assume that they might have possibly been compromised in their scripture. Further complicating this is that the Iron Dawn won't let inspectors from the Inquisition in unless they come with a better reason than "we want to snoop" and refuse the ecclesiarchy access outright. It's well within their rights, it's just really suspicious.

The Sisterhood they don't mind. They trust them and have known and fought and died alongside them in many glorious victories and tragic defeats.

The inquisition and ecclesiarchy could, and probably have, sent agents in. But to admit what they have seen would be to admit spying and even if they have seen it's probably still within allowance for an astartes homeworld.

>>73478504 Man you were right. The first ability the creature exhibits is vampirism (double). It readily feeds on the blood of it's prey, the reason it does so is for the metals in it. The creatures of Bakunawa have mostly blood reliant on titanium as such feeding the creaure a specific mix of human and native fish blood can result in it growing an extremely hardy metallic carpus useful for high quality armor.

The creature is also capable of fission so throwing off it's tentacles if such need arises and slowly growing them back allowing for farming of small pieces of carpus without having to go trough the messy process of it's reproductive cycle.

It seems as using this creature as a delicacy is an odd choice as it's flesh is heavily poisonous, though a skilled cook can likely figure something out.

The Creature can duplicate it's attacking power by splitting it's grown together tentacle stinger into two overwhelming a foe with even more attacks only to then flee just as quickly by utilizing it's born in defensive maneuvers.

On top of that the creature's carapace seems to contain special compounds which harden it further making it resistant to extreme heat and standard projectiles.

These octopus-like creatures are the apex predator of their local eco-system and can grow carapaces rivaling weak power armor in durability if fed a propper diet and in good conditions. As such many nations keep large plantations of these animals harvesting the Carapace and selling it to the Syncretic Mechanicus. While the 9 Lunar forges source the metal for production of standard equipment locally on said moons more expensive and elite equipment for the use by Space Marines of Sisters of Battle is created from the hard carapaces farmed on the planet

Theres some serous shit going to come through here at some point, in the meantime make yourself useful and keep the astarte-tards on the streight and narrow.

Yeah I imagine nomad Sisters sent to the edge of the Imperum which now that they found out that this approximation of a Forge world exists here in the middle of now where come by from time to time to restock on weapons.

The odd local faith would likely dissuade them from actually recruiting from here though.

The Biology obsessed Cratworld is definitely gonna have fun with these. Could they be the reason why the Craftworld will target Bakugawa and confront the Iron Dusk once more?

(maybe even unintentionally)

You'd have any number of possible tides, from eighteen if the moons are evenly distributed, to who knows what. If the moons are at different inclinations, mass, and altitudes, they could cancel out each other's pulls, or amplify tidal forces to ridiculous extremes. If all nine moons ever lined up, it'd be some kind of giga tsunami nightmare, as a veritable mountain of water sweeps up out of the sea. Assuming they don't collide, of course

A demon planet made entirely out of bums, they're constantly farting but it smells like lavender.

>Here before this planet turn into a Cold Shoulder 2.0 with everyone fighting for the One Piece

Also could we roll more fishes?

Nah, not a "> be me" type of thread.
I'd be happy to roll some more mundane table as that one gives usually things closer to legendary monsters than animals.

Well there is the Craft world Ver'Nam and it's jungles.

I think when once the 9 moons aligned as you describe a Chaos Warband also chose to attack. Was not a nice day.

There is a reason the natives see the moon's as evil god's.

Nah, I feel like more rolling is unnecessary, but do we want to write up some more lore/writefaggotry?

Guess not

The thread is dead, sad. Is doing such thread to pass time, or are the OPs hoping that it gets hyped up enough?

Where can I see the source used for rolling planets ?

It's a plan that has always backfired because the Chaos Warbands are typically 100% made up of utsiders and only have a surface pop-culture level understanding of the local beliefs. The moons are the signs of The Fallen from the surface of the planet and are hated and reviled as the planet looks out on a universe marred by origional sins. There are statues on the high points of all the pig islands depicting cruel and cold looking statues to The Fallen pointing accusatory fingers at places where the moons rise on feast days and fasts.

But the warbands come from outside, those fingers of accusation point at them. The warbands come from outside and they look inwards. The miners on the moons and those that work in the manufatoriums found there don't have statues to worthless things they have statues to The Nine Divines looking to their home with smiles and arms outstreched in greeting and joy.

Whatever mystical significance petty little warlords think the moons hold it is a strength that will east them from the inside out. The only place that they can fall, in their soul, is from inside. A home grown cult who knows the shape of things that can spread the corruption from inside out.

A few have, to the Iron Dawn's shame, tried. They didn't realize that they stood on holy ground, they didn't know that The Omnissiah had seeded the caverns and ancient vaults with his dreadful Iron Angels. They do not fear, they hate. They do not hunger, they watch. They do not sleep, they wait. They know nothing of mercy or pity or frailty. Thay are divine wroth incarnate. They are beautiful and they are feared and they are called upon only when their living tombs risk desecrated. One day the Omnissiah's faithful son will call them to Him, then Mars will see exactly which side of the theological debate they pitched their illinformed tent.
