This is a direct continuation of http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive/74513689/As per where we last left off shortly after the Saga of the Forge & Bellows, the God of Magic & the Law masturbated two deities into existence, the Monstrous Deity of the Moon and the (second) God of the Sky & Storms. We're seeing a solid mythology start to take shape, now, do you anons want to roll for a few more affairs in the first generation for some variety, or do you want to continue onto marriages of the second generation?
>>74520663Also, if the image feels off that's because I made a new paint doc to make it easier to intuit how much of a slut (SLUT) the Goddess of Assassins & Poisons & Spiders was.
>>74520663oh shit, looks like I got up just in time
>>74520809Not in any rush, working from home with the quarantine, I'll be checking the thread every 5-10 minutes and updating when something occurs.
>>74520663>God of Love & Children>has no children
>>74520992God of Love & Children is pure, PURE
>>74520681The real sluts were the Blacksmiths we mindbroke along the way
>>74521027So he births a daughtermommywife fully formed from his mind?
>>74520992God of -fu
>>74520663I loosely based the deities from one of my pantheons on warframe. Due to the fact that all warframes are pretty much all war based I relied more on their specializations which resulted in a weird pantheon and as a result a weird culture since they have like 3 major death gods, several major war gods (warframes based entirely around pure damage or their weapon eg. spear, sword, bow). End result is the culture is very bellicose and death obsessed. Everyone from a peasant girl to the king knows how to use the bow, spear, and sword at least decently well, they view death as an inevitability and are weirdly accepting of it due to believing in reincarnation (like how warframes just respawn if they are destroyed).
>>74521100>>74521027>>74520992Which one, we have two remember?A loli and a shota
>>74521070no, that's what the First Bastard, Law Dragon does.He birthed the Gods of Time and Firmament from masturbating
>>74521051Don't forget the slut (SLUT) Goddess of Assassins & Poisons & Spiders that started creation off with a spat of booty calls.>>74521070That depends on the rolls, the generator we're using (with some home-brew to make things more interesting) is fickle and seems to have a mind of its own.>>74521113Pure, PURE.>>74521135Ah, but was that really from his mind?Do you want to roll for some more affairs for some mythological variety or move on to the second generation?
It occurs to me that we're going to need to make a timeline of events at some point, but I'll do that after this thread archives.
>>74520663Do you think we should exclude the elder God of the Forge & Craftsmen from future affair rolls given that he's a shattered mess of a god or should we let the dice fall as they may and maybe lead to a change in his situation?
>>74520663i think we need to get onto the marriages of the second generation. there are only three marriages in the entire pantheon
So what's the generator for this?
>>74521661I'll be posting it after we've finished the pantheon, I have a few house-rules to make things more interesting.>>74521466You're right, there's only five goddesses (six if we count the moon deity) to ten gods, three(four)-to-seven of which are unmarried, which is interesting. We can roll for more affairs later. First things first, can someone give me a 1d4 to see the situation with the Goddess of Madness? 1 = Her father forbid her to marry and kept the raving muse under tighter lock and key, 2 = Prime God of the Sun demanded she be allowed to wed, 3 = Her mother released her from her bindings long enough to make it happen, 4 = elder God of the Forge & Craftsmen let her go despite his fears when (coin-toss) she begged him/his wife asked him to.
Rolled 1 (1d4)>>74521849you got it boss
>>74521858After seeing what women are capable of firsthand the elder God of the Forge & Craftsmen doubled down and forbade her to marry, but what came of it? Give me a 1d4- 1 = Nobody contested it, 2 = She sank deeper into insanity, 3 = Goddess of Madness escaped on her own, 4 = Another God broke her out
Rolled 3 (1d4)>>74521935i think a three is what i'll roll
>>74521935>what women are capable of firsthandAnd men for that matter, come to think of it. The elder God of the Forge & Craftsmen is damaged, like anon said last thread, >>74516544, before he proceeded to hatefuck and alienate his only son, who could've changed everything for him.>>74521956Whew, you called it anon. Give me a 1d9 to see which god gets involved.
Rolled 1 (1d9)>>74522030gonna be a nine
>>74522063well i can't be right every time. does this mean the prime sun god is dicking her?
>>74522088No, this was for marriage. Barring unusual circumstances, it's generally one for every possible pair possible of deities.>>74522063>God of Love & ChildrenBut he was pure, PURE! Can an anon roll me a 1d4 to see what kind? 1-2 = Arranged Marriage, 3-4 = Loving Marriage. Tilting the odds from Sanctioned Marriage because this is between a God of Love & Children and a Goddess of Madness, it's going to be one or the other.
Rolled 3 (1d4)>>74522194loving
>>74522209So after she escaped from her father's prison, the Goddess of Madness fell into a loving marriage with the God of Love & Children, who saw her for the inspiration she was. Beautiful. Loving Marriage gives a +1 to the odds of offspring, guaranteeing at least one. Give me a 1d3 to determine how many.
Rolled 3 (1d3)>>74522261one. more. three
>>74522269>god of children has the most children out of all of his siblings
>>74522269>the God of Love & Children>has three childrenI can see it. Give me a 1d20 and 1d6 for the specifics of their firsborn, after that it might be a good idea to stop rolling until some other anons get in this thread.
>>74522361>>74522269>>74522261>Madness is baby-crazyI love it, shine on you insane disney princess!

>>74522406I'm here from last night, but Im currently busy and split between this and doing errands/university stuff
>>74522406I don't think anons would've bailed after last thread, it's still early in the morning and not all of us are working from home in the quarantine. It'll probably pick back up again later, some probably haven't seen the thread's on yet. Like I said earlier, there's no rush.>>74522465>tfw also doing uni shitMinds of a kind, I suppose.
>>74522500Plus the old thread ended at 2pm. Probably some of the anons aren't even awake and are sleeping off the silliness of the old thread
>>74522553maybe in your timezone. for me it ended at 1am
>>74522553>>74522570>>74522576I'm one of those freaks that sleeps for about four hours a night, give or take irregularities. It was 2pm for me too, but it's interesting to see that we're in different time-zones. For all we know we could be neighbors, but that's the best part about imageboards, we never would know. Can either of you give me a 1d6 for anon's domain roll?
>>74522742i rolled the domain (and every other roll in this thread), so i'll let the other anon
Rolled 3 (1d6)>>74522742here you go, sorry for delay.
>>74522868Cool beans, I'll start collating the deity's appearances in the meantime so we can better mental image and maybe expand on that, you guys are great.>>74522883Nothing to apologize for.
>>74522883>Mature Aged Male>>74522406>The Trickster GodThere are some interesting implications here. Maybe he's the god of lies & deception to his elder counterpart's trickery? Maybe the lies that people tell themselves and their families for their own sake, and/or white lies, as per their parents. I still need two more 1d20s and 1d6s for his siblings, this is starting to look like a properly convoluted pantheon.
Rolled 3 (1d6)>>74523057is the goddess of madness a yandere for her shota husband?
>>74523074Almost assuredly but they might also be an intensely nervous, paranoid romantic given her past imprisonment, or alternate between the two in a sort of random, bipolar cycle.
>>74523131>tfw no yandere niece/wife
>>74523152Don't forget she's apparently baby crazy, though given her husband's domain that's more than likely mutual.

The god of nursery rhymes and lessons hard learned? The god of "don't touch that stove or you'll burn yourself", who plays tricks on people to teach others lessons to be made into children's stories.
>>74523261to be clear, i'm the anon that's done most of the rolls. you should use the 12, not the 18
>>74523238It's a 1d3-1 by default, so the +1 guaranteed at least one would be born but we ended up with three.>Wasn't the second one a mature woman?I actually don't believe so, but I'll check real fast- >>74516072 Nope, she's also young. As for how young, that's still up in the air.
>>74523287>>74523057Basically, Old Trickster is Coyote, while Young Trickster is Iktomi, to draw a parallel to other mythologies
>>74523313Huh, fair enough. My mistakes.
>>74523313i think we can consider the young option as child. whoever created the tables probably had some weird aversion to children having sex.
>>74523306I'll take your word for it and we'll use the 12 for the secondborn, but that's an interesting enough domain we'll use it for the third. Still need those appearance rolls.>>74523287>>74523332That's an extremely nice angle, I love it, he's telling stories about the Trickster God and is himself, a lesser Trickster God in his own stories. Fits his parent's domains of Madness and Love & Children extremely well, too.>>74523351Could always roll to figure that out or leave it up to discretion, remember the Forge gods and I think about half the pantheon's males are also Young Males, which can just as easily be anything from late teens to mid-twenties, if not more.
>>74523351I'd say it should depend on the God. Some kid gods, some young adult gods.Just whatever we all agree on.

Their family has a very homey feel to it, which is appropriate given their parents, even the God of Ice & Winter enables that by forcing families to come closer together. I'm thinking he was born from the Goddess of Madness's isolation and is a reflection of that. What are your thoughts? Also, I need a 1d11.

>>74523541>The Goddess of Madness spent so long chained up, locked away in a gilded cage built by her father. While she loathed her isolation, it was still all she knew and understood. She wanted to be free, but she also wanted comfort of a place to stay. As the God of Progency and family took her for a lover, her desire bore fruit in her children.>The first was Whimsy, the prankster, who would make laughs, jokes, and would play tricks to look out for and teach his younger siblings, to help teach them to avoid the mistakes of their extended family>Then came Hearth. He saw his mothers wish for a home, and so made a house for his family. Not a domicile to teap and encage, but a place where one may enter freely and be held and loved in hospitality >Winter was born of Madness's fear and uncertainty of the world. Representing the cold and dark that her Paranoia viewed was outside of her cage. Yet for his chilly demeanor he worked with Whimsy to create snow, to make the world bright white and glistening. And when he would tire and become sullen again, Hearth would welcome the family inside, and offer them warmth and respite during the cold night. Also holy shit this pantheon has too many dudes
>>74523685They were engaged in a Sanctioned Marriage, meaning they like each other and are happy to be together but aren't head over heels. >>74525165Sorry forget that roll. Was busy storytelling
>>74525116>>74525117It seems the Goddess of Love & Children has had relations with the Stillborn God/Living Lie. Methinks the wiles of the Trickster God are afoot but stranger things have been true. Give me a 1d8 for the context.
The most this goes on, the more I see Trickster as The Ebon Dragon
>>74525162No, it goes from left to right, then from the far right end of the above row to the far left of the one immediately below. Again, I should've clarified.

>>74525440Honestly I'd rather reroll the 20, we have two of both of those already. And there are plenty of unfilled slots.

>>74525455>>74525496That's a slippery slope, if we start rerolling for domains we already have we won't stop and reconciling their different aspects of the same has brought us some phenomenal interpretations. I'm fine with flipping a coin if you anons would rather leave it to a 50/50 chance than have a third God of the Sky & Storms which I think would probably be deity of clear skies, but rerolling outright is a step we can't take back.>>74525499>>74525523Hey, not bad. God of the Tides, how do you all feel about mixing them to get that?
>>74525549As I am >>74525499I'll abstain from voting that.
>>74525549God of the Tides, it's a spot we haven't filled and I really like the idea, because its association with the moon and order is a straight 1:1 but it's also regarded as tempestuous and emotional, which fits the Goddess of Love & Children like a glove and at the same time is only the surface of something deeper and darker. That's legitimately about as good as it gets.
I'll give you five minutes to mull it over while I go handle some unrelated business on the porcelain throne.
>>74525549I rescind my >>74525455 in favor of the God of the Tides

Rolled 2 (1d6)>>745258315
Rolled 3 (1d6)>>74525831
Why not make the God of Skies the god of Stars, who watches over and safeguards the sleep and dreams of children, granting dreams and hopes to ghe living children, and offering respite and relief for those who Loren who die and pass on? The God watches over the night heavens, and watches the sleep of his dead father, granting him peace.
>>74525813Keep in mind the God of the Tides is the great-grandson of the Moon by the Trickster God and (SLUT) Goddess of Assassins & Poisons & Spiders, and was born by the Goddess of Love & Children, who'd been trying extensively to have children with the God of Magic & the Law, who sired the Deity of the Moon. It feels within the bounds of logic.
>>74525860>posted too slow and everyone already agreed on tidesfug
>>74525831you have two 3s
>>74525831Accidentally bungled the roll there, it's supposed to be->1 = It pains his heart, but he disowns her and the child, 2 = He refuses to acknowledge the God of the Tides as anything but a bastard and the two grow distant, 3 = He blames himself and sinks deeper into his work, 4 = He is wary but comes to accept the God of the Tides as his nephew, 5 = He embraces the God of the Tides as his own son, 6 = He considers him to be his child, by the letter of the law, because he was born by his wife>>74525845>>74525846Also ouch, though I suppose if anyone has reason to be wary of adultery, it's him.>>74525899Yep, I'm an inbred retard.
>>74525845>>74525846The God of Magic & the Law blamed himself for being unable to sire offspring from the Goddess of Love & Children but refused to accept the God of the Tides as his, and sank deeper into his work, growing distant and cold as he was before he bore his son and daughter(?). Give me a 1d4 to see the Prime God of the Sun's response, 1 = Enraged, he smites (coin-toss) him/her/both, 2 = The Prime Goddess of the Moon was careful and he never discovered, 3 = He doesn't think the God of Ice & Winter (and his great-grandson) was important enough to warrant a reaction, 4 = Reflecting on his past and distance from his wife, he decides he was overly harsh and resolves to let them do as they will

Basically there were three layers of deities: the Greater Gods, the Intermediate Gods and the Lesser Gods. The Greater Gods were the sun and the moon, who basically ruled over all that is good and all that is evil. The Intermediate Gods were based on the planets visible to the naked eye: Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn. They're the children of the Greater Gods. They were all gods with very broad portfolios. The Lesser Gods were pretty much everything else. They all have very narrow portfolios and are basically the "specialists" and as such the most numerous. They're the children of the Intermediate Gods.Nobody brought this up because the gods never really played a big role during the campaign, but eventually it dawned on me that the Intermediate Gods are just a group of brothers constantly impregnating their one sister while she just keeps spitting out more children than can be counted.

I need a 1d4 to determine, since she wasn't supposed to escape as per the Prime God of the Sun's dictate (as I doubt the Prime Goddess of the Moon would be so opposed), an Arranged Marriage isn't possible, 1 = Not Married At All, 2 = Sanctioned Marriage, 3 = (coin-toss) Sanctioned Marriage/Loving Marriage, 4 = Loving Marriage

>>74529931YouI like you
>>74529931>Because of her parents, she's more rebellious against them.>She harbors the criminals that her father condemns, and gives them gives them her boon for continuing to sin, rather than mercy from her mother.Mischievous child, this one is.
>>74529915>>74529905“All things are poisons, for there is nothing without poisonous qualities. It is only the dose which makes a thing poison.” - Paracelsus van Hoenheim, Alchemist and PhysicianThe snake is a being that exists as a paradox. Its ability to shed its skin and lay many eggs is viewed as a symbolof life, healing, fertility, and immortality. Yet for its venom, slithering, fangs, and speed it is likewise viewed as a symbol of death and deceit.Likewise is the idea found in law. Law contains the conciliatory natures of Punishment and Mercy, Protection and Death, Restitution and Retribution. This deity represents this duality. She is a snake, a purveyor of poison, yet that same poison can be used to heal and ease pains, or act as an antivenom. Poisons used in different ways become medicine, and either can be used for either judgement (like a cup of hemlock) or healing (like using leaches)She is the Snake, daughter of Judgement and Mercy, she takes her parents nature and thus uses her venom to become the goddess of Poisons and Medicine. Within her the duality of her parents is made manifest!
>>74530014This plays more with her little brother. >>74529845>She doesn't like how he got the better end of the deal while only being a demigod (wealth makes the world go round), and gives more boons to criminals to disrupt his domain.>Wealth only tries to be better, so that he can impress his sister. He only wants her to see him as her brother, not an enemy to break. He builds his merchants up, only for criminals to come in and corrupt it.
>>74530034This is solid, do you anons want her to be a Goddess of Poisons & Medicine as well as Thieves & Deceit?
Commerce likewise is also a perfect domain for a child of mercy and judgement. All commerce is built on contract and agreement. People come together to trade goods and services for mutual benefit. Yet that benefit can easily be usurped and exploited if there is no oversight. Thus such contracts require some level of enforcement to maintain healthy and open trade and mutual benefit. And so Commerce becomes the balancing act of encouraging freeinteraction, while also enforcing the contracts and expectations of siad interaction.Change and Judgement, perfectly balanced in the scales of coinage.Really, these two daughters are prefect for this couple
>>74530136Hmm.. I'm conflicted.. only cause I like the little rebel goddess, but that duality really is solid work.
>>74530149Yes, but Commerce is a man.
>>74530136>>74530199As the goddess Medicine and Poison, thieves and deception would already be tangentially related due to her poison aspect, just as she wohld be tangentially related to doctors, healers, and chemists from her medicine angle
>>74529931>>74529962>>74530014>>74530034>>74530101>>74530149Here we go. These are the offspring of the Deity of FIRE & Judgement and the Goddess of Mercy & Redemption, we'll get into the details on her sister's marriages in the next thread and as always, roll for a couple of the filthy, tragic manwhore's one night stands affairs and move on into the demigods from there. In the meantime, let's use the rest of this thread to discuss some of the ramifications, what are some deities you want to see some more development go into?

I've got to go and handle some IRL business like I mentioned earlier, I'll be back in 3-4 hours, maybe sooner, maybe later with a third thread and archive for this one if it slides off the board before I get back. In particular, I feel like the younger God of the Forge & Craftsmen is an interesting foil to his older brother, to say nothing of the elder's grandsons, or the mutual adultery between the Sun and the Moon. You anons take care, this thread was phenomenal.
>>74530272Have a good day, OP.> I feel like the younger God of the Forge & Craftsmen is an interesting foil to his older brother, to say nothing of the elder's grandsons.Though, if he wasn't forging life out of those bottoming sessions, we wouldn't have a lot of the wholesome families that we got.We also need to think of a way to unclusterfuck this family tree.
