This is a direct continuation of http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive/74520663/ which was itself a direct continuation of http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive/74513689/

As per where we last left off, shortly after the Trickster God and God of Ice & Winter accidentally released the Scheming Goddess, she got hitched to the God of the Tides and shortly after they had three triplets, the Goddess of the Harvest, Goddess of Mercy & Redemption, and the somehow simultaneously monstrous and hyperfeminine Goddess of Beasts & the Hunt. The Goddess of Mercy & Redemption married the Deity of FIRE and Judgement, giving birth to two children, the Goddess of Thieves & Snakes & Deceit & Medicines/Poisons and the first sign of the pantheon's lineage running thin, the Demigod of Wealth & Commerce. Unfortunately, the Goddess of the Harvest and Goddess of Beasts & the Hunt are unhappy with their arranged marriages, to the sickly God of Pests & Plagues & Dark Magic and the God of the Sky & Storms, respectively.

Can you give me a 1d3-2 to see if the Goddess of the Harvest and the God of Pests & Plagues & Dark Magic have any offspring?

I looked over the posts you made while I was gone in the last thread, (IRL business took a little longer than expected) and see what you mean about the pantheon's web of relationships looking like a clusterfuck. It's only mostly legible to me and I've been analyzing it, so I went and started to draw a thin black border around the lines but realized that'd take four to five times longer than drawing the lines themselves to begin with, so I'm going to wait to do that until the pantheon has run its course or we've at least trickled down to the demigods themselves. How the divine bloodline works, if one parent is five or more generations deep, the odds of Demigodhood are one-in-four, but this doesn't count if the other parent is three-or-less generations deep themselves. The one-in-four odds hold into the sixth and seventh generations but decline into two-in-four at the eighth and ninth generation, which becomes three-in-four at the tenth and eleventh, and then one-in-four odds of it not being a Demigod from then on. If relations are had between a Demigod and a God, the odds of the offspring being a Demigod are increased by one, so if a God of the fourth generation had offspring with a Demigod, they'd be rolling two-in-four odds instead of one-in-four. If Demigods reproduce, there's a five-in-six chance of the offspring being a Demigod, and a one-in-six chance of it being a full God. If the Demigods are two generations deep or more of Demigods, the odds are one-in-eight of Godhood, six-in-eight of Demigodhood, and one-in-eight of the offspring being born a mortal paragon associated with a minor part of one of their parent's domains. The odds of mortality increase by one while Demigodhood lowers each successive generation, 5/2, 4/3, etc. I hope this makes sense, I can make a chart if you want me to elucidate the odds some more there.

>>74541092
The Goddess of Harvest failed to yield a bounty from the God of Pests & Plagues & Dark Magic, which is unfortunate. The Goddess of the Harvest is the one opposed to their relationship, so I imagine the God of Pests & Plagues & Dark Magic loves her but is painfully aware he'll never be the robust, strapping farming or nature God she wanted. Tragic. Can you give me another 1d3-2 for the God of the Sky & Storms and the Goddess of Beasts & the Hunt?

Keep in mind this is a pool of below thirty individuals over the course of multiple mortal lifetimes, just about tickles me pink that something like two-thirds of the pantheon are Gods, and around a fifth of them born from the elder God of the Forge & Craftsmen's manwhoredom.

Alas, t'was not meant to be. Time to move onto autoreproduction, starting with the younger God of the Forge & Craftsmen. He'll be the last of the last of his siblings to get married (if he ever will) and his only offspring is the God of Magic & the Law, who was an abomination sprung from the first (but far, faaar from last) act of infidelity in creation. He's got to be feeling his age by now. Give me a 1d6 to see how he reacts, 1 = He stops caring about anything beyond the forge and resolves to focus where his brother could not, 2 = He gets desperate and enters into a series of affairs, either 1d3 or the first to produce offspring, 3 = He decides to make a Demigod, reasoning it to be close enough, 4 = He decides to make multiple (1d4) Demigods, reasoning quantity is a reasonable substitute for quality, 5 = He decides that if he can't marry to beget a child, he'll have to make one (coin-toss) alone/with another elder deity, 6 = He decides there's no need to worry about it, when he could be the grand-uncle to his nephews and nieces his elder brother never was.

Interesting, but we have a fair few Assassin deities, how do you feel about making them the Demigod of Murder and Wanderers?
>>
>>74543597
Actually we only have the one, the original Goddess of Assassins & Poisons & Spiders, the more recent Goddess presides over Thieves & Snakes & Deceit & Medicines/Poisons, but the question still stands. A serial killer born of the God of Ice & Winter, ostracized from the broader pantheon to wander feels fitting, especially given we still don't have a war deity.
>>
>>74543597
murder and wanderers is good
>>
>>74543469
Snake-poison goddess and Storyteller decided to get married and had themselves the goddess of moths and childhood diseases, who got pushed onto the god of Hearth and Looms. He is not a fan of how she keeps eating the things he weaves.
Forgebro the Younger tried to make a kid of his own, but just made some manner of artifact. (To be fair, it is a fantastic piece.)
Right now we just made a new deity from the Winter God. >>74543597

How about the female governs more stealthy kills (poisons and cutting a man's throat in his sleep), while this new one is over violent death.
Assassinations that entail repeated stabbings from a group or crimes of passion and whatnot. Something that would entail ostracism.
>>
>>74543652
>>74543688
I would've put Violence as well, but that's a very broad domain to give a Demigod of the 5th Generation. I'm not certain the rest of the pantheon cares for the Demigod much, but I doubt he cares. Now we move onto the God of Fire, who's had multiple relations, and is unique in that as far as I'm aware none of them were heterosexual. Give me a 1d4 to see what he does, 1 = He decides if he's not going to marry, he might as well take solace in his domain, by burning things, 2 = He decides he ought to have at least one Demigod and forces himself to follow through, 3 = He attempts to enter a permanent relationship with one of his previous partners, 4 = He decides it's irrelevant, as the Deity of FIRE and Judgement is covering his domain, he might as well sit back and relax.

Give me a 1d4 to see how he handles it, 1 = He decides to focus on his work and leave it to the rest of the pantheon, 2 = He has an existential crisis and attempts to sire a Demigod, 3 = He has an existential crisis and enters an affair with a goddess, 4 = He decides to wait and bide his time, considering his father and reasoning it's better he risk not having children at all than doing it outside the boundaries of wedlock

The (SLUT) Goddess of Assassins & Poisons & Spiders surprised most when she gave birth to the younger God of Music & Plays & the Arts and the Goddess of War by the God of the Sky & Storms. Perhaps inexplicably (or all too understandably), the Trickster God was delighted by the development. For his part, the God of the Sky & Storms reached a state of contentment. Roll 1d4 to see who the Goddess of War marries, if anyone. On a 4 we'll roll to see if she marries a previously content God, stays to herself, or waits a generation.

>Demigod of Love & Children

The God of Fire somehow produced the Demigod of Love & Children, most likely representing the warmth a father feels for their loved ones. Give me a 1d4 to see where it came from, 1 = As far as anyone knows he appeared some time after the God of Fire abandoned the Elder God of the Forge & Craftsmen, 2 = As far as anyone knows he sprung forth from the God of Fire when he cooled down and grew satisfied with life, 3 = His appearance is inexplicable but he recognizes the God of Fire as his father, and the God of Fire, he as his son, 4 = Long ago, the God of Fire kindled love with a mortal woman, bore a child, and swore never to take another when she died.
>>
>>74547355
Fraternity between Soldiers is an extremely solid domain, I could easily see that falling under them. Near as I can tell, Adult but not aged is the default relating to deities that fall under that, barring exceptions such as the God of Love & Children, the God of the Tides who we think was born when the Goddess of Love & Children agreed to carry the Stillborn God/Living Lie to term, and so on. As far as I'm aware, that is, I've been picturing the elder God of the Forge & Craftsmen AKA notorious anvil as a deeply sad, disturbed grown man who still hasn't gotten over the fallout of his first relationships.
>>
Also, did anyone else notice that the first Demigod born of a mortal to enter the pantheon was the Demigod of violent murder and aimless wandering? That's some bleak symbolism, right there.

Corrected a typo there. I imagine the Demigod has more emphasis on fatherly, manly love while the Goddess of Love & Children epitomises motherhood and the original God of Love & Children focuses on a child's idealistic love and family as a whole, which I think is a nice dynamic.

>>74547355
Anon went ahead and rolled for the elder God of the Forge & Craftsmen, and it looks like sometime after he was wedded to the elder Goddess of Pests & Plagues & Witchcraft he went and tried to sire a Demigod, or did it sometime much sooner in a spur of the moment decision. >the Demigod has more emphasis on fatherly, manly love

I was thinking that Original leans more on the Love side of the equation, as he rescued the Goddess of Madness and Inspiration from her imprisonment and proceeded to give her a loving family. Perhaps Fertility/Virility?
The goddess of Love and Children was, tragically, infertile and had to arrange a surrogacy with the Stillborn God and her husband's cumbabies. I imagine her specific sphere being a parent's love and adoption.
Demigod is about bonds between members in a group.

Between the three you have the three different kinds of love: romantic, parental, and brotherly.

He would've been born relatively early too, given he was forcibly wedded to the Goddess of Pests & Plagues & Witchcraft before everything he did, and the Prime God of the Sun might've been disgusted to see what he saw as a taint on the pantheon's bloodline before it began to dwindle. OH SHIT, that does fit, doesn't it? What about the timeline though? The artifact was forged because the younger God of the Forge & Craftsmen wanted to see if he could bring life into being through artifice, because he had a small, (and compared to his brother's constant madness, insignificantly minor) crisis when he realized he wasn't married, relatively recently, whereas this happened because the elder God of the Forge & Craftsmen was dissatisfied with his marriage, which probably would've come to pass much sooner than that. Fuck, maybe's a duality of artifacts? A mighty warhammer, fit to crack the skies, and an ever-so-slightly cracked, weeping shield fit to withstand its beating?

Not yet disclosed, but they're consistent, or are openly laid out within the thread for individual cases.

The Goddess of the Harvest births no less than five gods and goddesses, in what might be the pantheon's most fecund marriage, if not its most loving. Shortly before, during, and after the second batch, she found time for four demigods and demigoddesses. By the Sun.

Let's take these as they come, I'm going to need FIVE 1d20s, a minimum of FIVE 1d6s, and four accompanying 1d4s to determine their level of divinity.
>>
>>74549222
Five accompanying 1d4s, pardon me.

>>74549143
I'm using a pantheon generator I found on a really nifty blog with some house-rules to allow for marriages and affairs and fill in for any gaps that were left as a consequence.

Fair point, so we have-
>God of Love & Children
Idealistic, romantic love as seen in his marriage with the Goddess of Madness
>elder Goddess of Love & Children
Parental, adoptive love, never having a child of her own but carrying one to term and being affectionate toward her husband's children
>Demigod of Warmth & Camaraderie
Brotherly love, either militaristic or between men, whether that be platonic or more dedicated on either end, which makes sense, given he's the outcome of multiple generations of homosex,
>younger Goddess of Love & Children
Affectionate love from a child to one's parents to one's siblings, as makes sense, given they have EIGHT, which is the largest family in the pantheon (even if disparate) by three times over. If anything, I would say the Goddess of the Harvest that birthed her has a claim to be Goddess of Motherhood/Pregnancy, as I've noticed that despite having NINE offspring and ample opportunity to she didn't engage in a single affair. Now, while I'm checking the rolls for the Demigods and Demigoddesses and collating the numerous results-

Do you anons have any ideas for possible spins on the recent Goddess of Pests & Plagues & Witchcraft/Dark Magic, either domain or focus-wise? How about the Goddess of Madness and her two magical pets that spy on her siblings and the goings-on in the mortal realm? What about the Demigod of Madness who has a burning hatred for everyone not of (presumably) the race of his mortal father? Then there's the Goddess of the Sea & Sailing...
>>
>>74550490
I'm thinking the goddess of sea and sailing is a bit distant to her siblings due to being smothered in family members, and sails out into the wider world for freedom and exploring the self.
Of course, she always comes back home, so maybe she's the god that sailors pray to to return to port?
>>
>>74550490
The goddess of Pests and Plagues is the Goddess of bees and wasps and hornets, her plague is the venom of their sting, her domain helps the flowers spread their children far and wide.
>>
>>74550490
Goddess of Madness shares the spark of her grandmother, and acts as her eyes in the mortal realms

Goddess of Witchcraft is a goddess of cycles, as her mother is birth and harvest, she is rot and decay, the next part in the cycle

>>74550544
I like this, feeling too cramped with such a large family that she just up and leaves to find new lands, only to find a new pantheon maybe?

Demigod of Madness is literally just the god of Anger and Passion, she doesn't give a shit about rules, if she's angry, she'll let you know Also, hoping she kills Sun Ancestor for being a prick to her family, and ends up becoming the new sun for a bit
>>
>>74550490
>Goddess of Plagues, etc
Locusts? Pollinating insects? Crop blight?
>Goddess with pet spies
Crows and wolves, the bane of farmers and shepherds. She tests them to ensure they do not get complacent.
>Racist god
Guardian of farmers. Protects them from evil spirits and outsiders (city-folk).
>Sea and Sailing
Patron of fishermen and sailors.
>>
>>74549305
>>74549496

>>74549924
>Demigoddess of the Sun or the Moon

>>74550129
>Mature Aged Female
>>74550084
>Demigoddess of the Harvest
I'm thinking Sweat & Toil would be a cool domain for this one-

>>74550223
>Mature Aged Female
>>74550206
>Demigoddess of the Forge & Craftsmen
Possibly the softer crafts? Basketweaving and the like, although that's more under the God of the Hearth & Spinning's purview, maybe they represent the forging of mundane, everyday items and tools?

>>74550286
>Young Adult Male
>>74550210
>Demigod of Music & Plays & the Arts
I'm getting a strong folkloric, down-to-earth feel from them, they might represent drinking songs, bawdy art, and lower-brow things to their older counterpart's more refined domains, respectively. All in all, this was a really interesting development.

>>74550544

>>74550580

>>74550584
It's a Demigod of Madness and they have a deep disdain toward most mortal races, but Anger and Passion is solid, though I don't know how well passion fits... Maybe Insanity? I feel the Goddess of Madness should have Curiosity as a domain. What are your thoughts?

Demigod of Madness as a protector of farmers that disdains outsiders/urbanites is extremely nice and a very important niche to fill.

Demigoddess of Forge created the first tools, with which mortals altered and tilled the Earth, and is remembered for it

Demigod of the Arts is your classic Shakespeare and represents the arts of the masses, from tasteful everyman art to bold acts of civillian theatre, also, while not the inventor of them, he is regarded as the god of jokes

Patron of jesters and traveling entertainers, people who keep the common folk entertained. Wrote the first drinking songs.

Alright, here we go. Nine- NINE Gods & Goddesses and Demigods & Demigoddesses have been added to the pantheon, how can the other Goddess of the Harvest even compete? Anyhow, on to the next affair, that'd be the God of the Sky & Storms AKA Storm-Drummer,

>>74551119
Who decided that if he was going to be wedded to the giant otter, he might as well accept it and tried to settle down his constant wandering and accommodate her needs.

They never did get into the same lovey-dovey attitude that some others did, but over time, they learned to accept each other for who they were and found some inner peace. Then again, it wouldn't have suited the God of the Sky & Storms and Goddess of Beasts & the Hunt to be completely complacent.

>>74551814
No, that's when it lands on a 2 or 3, calling for an animal roll, though yours'd have resulted in a Preying Mantis, which are fucking sick. He's just Monstrous, calling for a few random monsters in the shape of a large ogre or beast, and given that his mother's a giant otter it makes sense that he'd also be, but like anything else that's open to interpretation.
>>
>>74551884
Maybe he's an otterman. You know, part man, part otter.
>>
>>74551854
This Harvest Goddess would ddefinitely be a fishing goddess, her brother being a marine-life god like his mom, he'd be like a sea-lion

Same. I'm having a hard time keeping the lines straight in the doc, but I can't imagine stopping now nor do I have any inclination to, to be honest.
>>
>>74551945
One could be for sailors in general and the other for fishermen specifically.
>>
>>74551945
She's a harvest goddess born of the sky and an ocean goddess so it stands that her harvest would have something to do with those, maybe a rain goddess as-well as a fishing goddess
>>74551965
Her brother can be a demigod of sailors and fisherman, he's also said to be father to many sea-monsters
>>
>>74551965
That's a solid spin, the Goddess of the Sea & Sailors as opposed to the Goddess of the Sea & Fishermen. Maybe the former presides over Navigation while the latter rules over Nets, while they're both over the Sea, and the Demigod is over the Fish & the Shallows, and is in opposition to them but more closely his sister for it?
>>
>>74551986
>brother
So did both goddesses lay with the same fisherman to create two different demigods? What an absolute chad.
>>
>>74552024
They did now.
>>
>>74551986
>Rain
Nice, Goddess of Nets & Fishing & Rain, next to the Demigod of Fish & the Shallows, and father of sea-monsters who would rather they left his domain be.

>>74552024
Demigod can also mean a weak deity, the pantheon's bloodline is getting thinner as the generations go by. As far as the rolls go, the Demigod is born from the Storm-Drummer but there's nothing particularly set in stone.
>>
>>74552024
>>74552040
The other Goddess of Sailing & the Sea is a Goddess but that's a damned good story and I wouldn't be surprised if the same farmer, or family of farmers, was responsible for the Goddess of the Harvest's family.
>>
How does this look for their domains? Again, this is all wide-open for changes now or down the road, something as major as the Sea feels a bit strange to confer to a Demigod and otters rarely go too deep, so I figured the Shallows was a reasonably narrow purview for a marine deity taking after his monstrous mother but I want to hear what you all think of it.
>>
>>74552251
Okay, so, who's left to have an affair?
>>
>>74552251
Goddess of Love & Children is 'Filial Piety', I think.
>>
>>74551986
The reason I didn't have him as patron of sailors is that the ninth(?)born daughter of the Goddess of the Harvest was already the Goddess of Sailors & the Sea, and it occurred to me that Navigation is so instrumental to that it's nearly inseparable, and then his sister, Rain & Fishing are both huge to any kind of coastal or agrarian society on their own and together that's gargantuan. Do you think a broader focus on Knots would be better than Nets?
>>
>>74552360
>on Knots
No, just stick with nets.
You may be thinking innocently, but just reflect on the fact you wanted to make a God of Knots.

Nice, here's an addendum-

>>74552436
Oh, OH, I see what you mean, though that reminds me, we don't have a deity over cats or dogs yet. Not necessarily domain-wise but as for general association there. I think the Trickster God is a decent fit for cats, but dogs could go to any number of deities, though the Demigod of Madness & Guardian of Farmers and the Goddess of War feel like good fits, for different reasons, guard dogs/war hounds, and so on. Just keep them away from the elder God of the Forge & Craftsmen.

>>74552309
That'd be the God of the Hearth & Spinning, married to the Goddess of Pests & Plagues & Witchcraft whose moths keep devouring his embroidery as he weaves it. Poor bastard. Can you give me a 1d6 for him?
>>74552497

The Goddess of Wool & Silk & Shepherds was born from the long-in-coming union between the God of the Hearth & Spinning and Goddess of Pests & Plagues & Witchcraft. They each loved their daughter dearly and grew closer for their diligence in the field, but between the nibbling of hand-sized moths, frantic asking if everything was alright, and tense nodding on his own behalf, the God of the Hearth & Spinning never did grow quite complacent.

Do you guys think we should change the God of the Hearth & Spinning's wife's last domain from WItchcraft to Folk Magic to fit the homey feel they have going on?

So I know this is heavily late as I was working on this last night, and this thread happened while I was at work, but I made a slightly revised version of last night's family line. I just made some slight color adjustments and took out affairs that didn't bear fruit, but kept their existance known.

>>
>>74554305

Well with this new goddess, we have a new marriage possibility, but that's up to OP
>>
>>74554157
The Goddess of Heritage & Record Keeping has been born, and she has her hands damnably full with the rest of her relatives, both distant and near. From time to time, she chronicles mortal dynasties and wonders how things could've changed, as well as >>74554269 strike up longwinded conversations on the nature of finance with her "uncle."
>>
>>74554305
>>74554330
We have an overabundance of marriage possibilities and perhaps for the first time more goddesses than gods, but the thread's getting close to sliding off the board and it might be a good idea to let this generation stew while I work on refining the pastebin. The offspring of any given couple belong to the generation of whichever couple's is higher + 1, and affairs + marriages are going to be recorded beneath the generation of the younger partners, we could be looking at a fair few more generations but the blood is running thin and we're already on the verge of having an even 2/2 chance of Demigodhood, from there it's a 3/1, then >>74541223 as I've explained.

Here's a couple of questions. Personally, which one's your favourite deity and which one's your least? What personalities do you think any number of given deities have, and how do you think they regard each other? What friendships and rivalries do you figure there are? Lastly, how do you feel about THESUNTHESUNTHESUN?
>>
>>74554495

Personally, I love Tide & Scheme. Tide, more for biased reasons. Scheme, just because she's an inevitable end game scenario, waiting to happen. That and her spark exploded into a huge ass extended family.
>Also hyper-feminine gigantic otter made me laugh.
We have a lot of meme based personalities for the eldest generations.
Also, the sun requires more "sacrifices"
>>
>>74554495
Law-Dragon is definitely the coolest, just wish he'd had more luck with his wife and that she didn't cheat on him with a Tulpa

I feel like he's a bit of an outsider considering his status as the First Bastard and how his purview of Law interferes with everyone else's lives, not to mention how much he deals with the mortals, he probably gets a lot of visits from his grandchildren though, it gets awkward between them though because Law-Dragon can't really articulate his feelings

His rivalry will inevitably be with the Storm-God, how that plays out will be no doubt, ridiculous, but we'll have to see on the 'Wheel Of Myths' if that ends up being canon

He probably takes issue with his son screwing his own Grandmother, not so much because it was incest but because they weren't wed when it happened

Is Probably besties with Mercy, Judgement, Assassins and the various Art Gods, as music and art is still a structured and Orderly process in the end, even if you need inspiration

He probably jerked his kids into existence after witnessing Inspiration have a happy family with the first Love God

The sun is kind of a dick but his word is Law in a sense, let's just hope he's just a King-Sun as opposed to a Tyrant-Sun
>>
>>74554495
Something I really like is that throughout the whole thing is that all the ones imprisoned for things they couldn't control were freed and given happy lives.
>>
>>74554660

Well, partially. Scheme is still stuck within the arctic ice. Watching and waiting. The spark / shard that escaped due to Story Trickster and Winter is only that, a small piece of the whole. True that one shard found love, but the main body is still tormented and shackled.
>>
>>74554655
>The sun is kind of a dick but his word is Law in a sense, let's just hope he's just a King-Sun as opposed to a Tyrant-Sun

So he's Pelor?
>>
>>74554780
He's Pelor if Pelor was okay with you beating your wife because that's what he does
>>
>>74554617
I agree, the Gods of the Tides and the Scheming Goddess are both extremely interesting, the former because he's a stillborn brought to life after the fact and earnestly loving, and the latter because she's an apocalyptic end-of-ages waiting to happen but also because she's a nuanced character in her own right, and we haven't even gotten into the mythology yet, only the family tree.
>We have a lot of meme based personalities for the eldest generations.
I've noticed that, and it's very interesting in and of itself.
>Also, the sun requires more "sacrifices"
I'll admit, I always hope for a 1 or 2 on affair rolls, but it has a way of slipping in a 3 instead.

>>74554655
Law-Dragon is a tragic figure in a way, but they're extremely sympathetic and badass, if only for their aesthetic and the fact that they're a God of Magic whose focus is on preventing magic. That's an interesting analysis on the relationships and I figure it's about on point. I also have to think, the God of the Sky & Storms also slept with his mother, and collaborated with the God of Fire to create the Scheming Goddess in a plan to cast down the Prime God of the Sun, possibly after he demanded the elder God of the Forge & Craftsmen's Demigod of Tragic, Doomed Love be beaten and smithed into a divine artifact over the weakness of their blood.

>>74554660
I agree, though the Scheming Goddess isn't fully freed, she's still frozen in the arctic and waiting for the ice to thaw so she can set the sky ablaze. How do you guys figure the God of Ice & Winter was involved with her prison? Do you think the Prime God of the Sun demanded it and he complied, or was it more urgent and rushed from the God of Fire and God of the Sky & Storms when they went to him out of desperation while their creation was rapidly gaining temperature? Also, what are your thoughts on the God of Fire inventing barbecue, and his son, the Demigod of Warmth and Camaraderie reining over the idea of the bromance?

To be fair, she did go behind his back to trick her own grandson into sleeping with her, more than likely with the aid of the Trickster God. Discovering that has got to get a reaction without much thought into it. Also, don't forget that later on when he found that she was happy in a relationship with the God of Ice & Winter, he turned a blind eye and accepted it. Of course, he was a hypocrite for having homosex with the God of Fire after cratering her and making the Deity of FIRE & Judgement. Yes, the Prime God of the Sun is an asshole by almost every metric, but I don't figure they're so one-dimensional. Do you think he regrets starting the pantheon after he's seen everything that's gone on with it?
>>
>>74554906
The Reason why the Sun is so bright is because Sun-God is trying to blind himself from the madness he's accidentally unleashed upon the world, he's been so bright for so long that he's blinded himself to the joys his family has since experienced
>>
>>74554834
Considering that Ice-God (We really need to hash out some names here) and his brother broke into her prison which let the first spark escape, I'd say she was only frozen over after he showed up, initially she was kept in an Iron box forged by the Eldest and Youngest Forge Brothers who did it upon orders from their father to trap her before she ended everything
>>
>>74554906

I'm still wondering how he even saw/knew it all. He's still shining brighter than anything. So much so, he's blind to the world.

>>74554834
>the elder God of the Forge & Craftsmen's Demigod of Tragic, Doomed Love be beaten and smithed into a divine artifact over the weakness of their blood.
This got me thinking. What if Fire God found out about this? He used the opportunity from Elder Forge boinging him to steal said artifact. He then brought it to Sky & Storm, and together tried to bring back the demi brother, but instead birthed the abomination, Scheming Goddess.
>>
>>74555009
A God of Tragedy freed from it's bonds becomes a creature of Madness and Scheming only to have the good parts of it's original soul slowly break off and cause good times, this is used to explain why you can see shooting stars
>>
I'm going to be doing some RL business tomorrow and might not post a thread until much later, if at all that day, but I'll be refining the pastebin + doc and be posting the day after tomorrow for sure. You anons take care, we'll figure out the next few generations and see how long it is before the bloodline dwindles to effectively nothing. I'll be surprised if we don't crack a 100, which is obscene but I'm not certain how to prevent it from getting too out of hand, or if it even should, because there's a lot of fun in seeing the clusterfuck happen but a great deal of union there. You guys have been great, you all take care of yourselves and I'll be back when I can. Also, names, but that might be interesting to randomly generate using a sort of ad-hoc syllable chart, in and of themselves, or simply pull out of our collective asses, because there isn't much need for everything to be procedural. Then there's the prospect of entities outside the pantheon and monsters springing from within it, etc., it'll be what it'll be, but I've had a lot of fun doing it so far and hope you have to. Reminds me of old /tg/, Sun and Moon above I do miss it. G'night, I'll see you later.
>>
>>74555165
>*great deal of disunion
Gets all jumbled, is what I mean. There's something oddly therapeutic about editing the pastebin, by the way, but I don't know how to articulate it. I know for sure once this is done I'll try and refine a system for generating pantheons more intricately, but like I've said before- there's no need to rush.
>>
>>74555009
Perhaps that is why a spark could escape? The vessel was created and the soul of that demigod is what escaped, eventually finding a haven within the depths of the ocean, where even the gaze of the Sun cannot reach.
Unfortunately, this left the vessel, who is embittered by being used as a tool for the ambition of some and concealment of others, discarded once she was no longer of use to them.

That said, as flawed as he is, Elder Forgebro turned out to be my favorite once the truth of his son was revealed. Even if we do not say that it was the Demigod of the Spurned that was forged into an artifact by him, it could be that the creation of his Artefact was him experimenting with trying to bring life to an object and in a small way reverse his nephew's curse.

As of this Thread, Harvest Goddess, what a complete Legend,
>Hate your relationship so pull a Demeter and drop your duties to hang with mortals while looking for something
>Proceed to find a farming village that is starting to go tits up because your not doing your job
>Start doing your job in full view of everyone and immediately get hit on by a series of local lords
>Bang all of them and birth a handful of demigods
>Turns out you like being a mum, so decide to go back to your husband with renewed purpose
>Tell him you'll come back to your job, but only if he mans up and gives you a baby
>Turns out God-Sex is brilliant and your kid is wonderful
>Proceed to repeat the process in more times with your husband then with the mortals because your actually starting to fall for him
>Your Husband experiences a massive Ego-Boost from all the fucking and dearly loves all his children, even your bastards
>Even with your kids grown your now actually in love with the man your husband has become because of your honest love
>Live happily ever after until Myth-Wheel will inevitably fuck up the dynamic

>I'll try and refine a system for generating pantheons more intricately
Don't worry about it. The things you added are definitely fun, but I suspect the real fun would be in making your own houserules to fit whatever manner of flavor you want for your pantheon.
That is, the constant incest and drama of cheating would not fit in someone looking for a more noble group of gods. So, leaving wiggle room for someone to put in their own spins would be best.
>>
>>74555293
Part of me feels a good house rule would be to possibly take a deity out of the running if it truly feels like their narrative has run its course. Might not work, but still something to think about.
>>
>>74555207
>nine NINE offspring
How can the other Harvest Goddesses even compete with that level of fertility?

>>74555245
>>74555259
G'night lads, you all take care.

>>74555293
I meant more possible domains and a wider dice gradient of gender, as well as some more refinement of the possibilities for adultery. I'm still surprised that you haven't rolled the option for rape, but that might be very much for the best. Also for the inclusion of monsters/mortal heroes, etc., you get what I mean, not trying to make the pilfered and house-ruled generator we've been running with into something it's not. G'night to you too anon.

>>74555360
I know what you mean and I've been thinking of having most affairs focused within one generation of the initiator, with a narrow but always present possibility for elder gods getting involved with the more recent pantheon members and vice versa. Likewise, the respective ages of deities, if not their power levels corresponding to their generation. Prime > Primordial > Ancient, etc.
