Those most primed to lead men, to slay them, and to cast down the works of their foeman. When that day comes that we descend to gather our future Marines, it is a nearly religious significance.

They're Vat-Grown, so they wouldn't have any real culture of their own as they're raised up without any parents or true upbringing

So they're like sponges and have taken after the Emperor's Angels as inspiration as role models

I was thinking something similar. The Primarchs were created by the Emperor, so I was thinking maybe they gravitated towards the idea of them more. The Eradicant being the ones that push idea on to them first.

>(in popular Muslim belief) a spiritual and temporal leader who will rule before the end of the world and restore religion and justice.
>a person claiming to be the Mahdi, notably Muhammad Ahmad of Dongola in Sudan (1843–85), whose revolutionary movement captured Khartoum and overthrew the Egyptian regime.
>(in Shiite belief) the twelfth imam, who is expected to return and triumph over injustice.

Combine this with the Marines appearing during the AoA smack dab in the middle of Vandire's reign, I can see why they would come to this conclusion

>Vat-Grown Hive Worlders that are communally trained to be the best possible and trained as an Artillery regiment.
>They've been assigned to a 'Crusade' fleet alongside a detachment of Space Marines, the Angels Eradicant, for Emperor knows how long and due to our lack of culture have taken a lot of stuff from the Marines

So I feel like the Rogue Stars participated in a battle with the Eradicant and that made them turn traitor. The Angel's Eradicant did something callous, possibly destroying the Stars' homeworld, to route out heresy. We could have all three factions believe in more or less the same ideology to tie them all together, a Reckoning or Judgement Day equivalent, where a powerful entity will return and cleanse the galaxy of its sins. The marines believe G-Man will/has awoken to claim the Golden Throne and purify the nonbelievers. Their guard allies believe the Emperor himself will rise from the Throne and start a new golden age of humanity. And the Chaos followers believe someone else - or maybe even that Emps/Girlyman - will arrive, find humanity wanting, and burn the whole thing to the ground. Essentially the same event, the same beliefs, just differing on who the chosen people will be.

Sergeant M'heem of Haboob squad made silent prayers to the Emperor and his Favored Son, Roboute Guilliman; the shaking of the drop pod had become a comforting rattle after centuries of glorious war.
The warriors of Icehome had finished preliminary bombings of the enemy's position and were ready to redeploy as soon as the marines did their sacred duty of burning the remainder of the heretics to ash and dust.
The lights in the pod went from red to yellow, landing imminent. M'heem focused and felt every organ and muscle in his body, ready to explode at a moment's notice; his breathing calm, never to sway his bolter, his voice never to waver.
As the pod crashes to the ground, crushing a technical and what few survivors remained hidden inside - a moment, lights shifted green - a moment, the harnesses released - a moment and the ramp lowers...

Aragath had been fortunate, the Dark Gods had blessed him and his paltry cover from obliteration by the weapons of the Corpse God's dogs.
He heard a roar and a wail of protesting metal and crunching bone, the enemy had brought the fight to them. As he slides his lasgun through a crack in the wall, his scope scorched but able to see the vivid light in the capsule. A moment later the massive warriors seemed to just appear out of the hatch, their speed and agility beyond human. Firing positions and a salvo of bolter fire collapsing the shell of the building across from him.

He stopped, he *knew* what these mutants were, the Angels Eradicant, the kin slayers, the Hated. A cold fury took him and he refused to die without fighting, and let lose snaps of las fire into their hulking frames.

The marines snapped their helmets in unison towards the las fire and without hesitation let loose a hail of bolt fire. His nest exploding around him, Aragath feels his hand on an entrenchment tool. His breath heavy with chunks of rockcrete on him, he gives one final prayer to Khorne for courage, Slaanesh for joy, Tzeentch for cleverness, and Nurgle for endurance. With laboured movement his stands amongst the rubble, a cry to Chaos and a charge to meet his destiny.

I thought more he WAS possessed by the ruinous powers in that moment, leading up to it, and even after for a time.
But he is at his base nature just a spiteful coward.
That’s what led him to heresy in the first place.
He may in fact be a terrible warlord to contend with, but he is also a degenerative paranoid schizo who has ups and downs and imagines it to be him losing and fighting for the will of the chaos gods.
In fact he’s right: they don’t care about him anymore. He’s done his job.
They never cared about him to begin with, and in truth much of his success was his own, they just gave him a push over the edge to kill the inhumane.
Now he’s a hulking recluse tyrant of sorts, flying in and out of his chambers as if to blitz over the pitfalls he imagines those surrounding him have layer for him, then sending them in turn to violent deaths in his campaigns.
Again, he is right in this, for many in his warband are villainous discontents who are (or were) in fact lying in wait to steal everything from him.
He tolerates the woman because she kills as many of his would be usurpers as she inadvertently gives rise to through undermining him.

What does that do

The organ also allows the Space Marine to identify extremely subtle odours with the same fidelity as the average canine bred for tracking, allowing him to even track his quarry by taste alone
Goddamn it. Why would a stealth chapter need a tracking organ. Guess we may have to be more savage.

Fuck are you kidding me, okay reroll.

I dont quite understand this table but I feel like Im fucked.

Looks like the Raven Guard dont have a special title for this and arnt especially religious. Maybe thats why this guy got his own chapter.
Get him the hell out of the RG to save their good name.

>Rule of homeworld (d10)

Fitting for such accursed monsters of flesh and machine.

>Characteristic Chapter Training
>79 - Scholar-Knights: All Astartes of this chapter are expected to be well-read and treat gathering intelligence as a duty of equal importance to direct destruction of the foe.
Makes sense for the RG, especially once they get into combat it will be horrifying.

>Special equipment- Roll once if Divergent was selected, twice if Unique Organization was selected (d100)
>93 - Modified Weaponry: When the Chapter’s forges produce a weapon, they produce them in a style that is specific to their Chapter. Examples: Power Sabre, Bolt Pistol with weighted butt for clubbing.
Oooh boy, the implements of terror are hot off the forge floor.

>What form do the Chapters' beliefs take? (d100)
>40 - Revere the Primarch - "Our Spiritual Liege is better than yours!" (can reroll if lineage is unknown)
Totally fits for what’s been rolled and the theme its crafted.

>At what strength is the Chapter? (d10)
>9 - Normal: The Chapter can field ten full companies, each with ten squads. In all likelihood most every squad consist of ten brethren and some specialized appointments may be empty, but the Chapter is regarded as fully fit for battle.
The roost is full and some are about to leave the nest.

>Who are your Chapter friendly with? (d100)
>58 - Astropaths
Being highly religious and devoted to their warp powered primarch, it makes sense. Mix their high uses of tech with their incredible worship zeal and these are terrorbirds.

>Who are the Chapter's enemies?(d100)
>69 - Chaos Space Marines (you should choose a particular warband, Chapter, or Traitor Legion)
Okay, I fudged this one. It was 50 and tyranids but it is so far away from the rest idgaf. I am picking The night lords.

Forest Green base, with dark crimson red trim and black joints, top of the head, grill, and eyes.
The black symbolizes their genetic heritage. The head symbolizes that Corvis leads them and his example is always on their minds.
Their eyes symbolizes the gift Corvis gave them, both the inhuman power, coupled with the responsibility and fate.
The grill symbolizes that they speak with the authority of Corvis's voice.
And the joints symbolizes that no matter what they are sons of the raven at their core.
The red trim of mars, honors the Martians and symbolizes the how the tech shapes them and is formed to persecute their tasks.
The green base is simple. They are the Forest.

I am going to write fag a bit of some thing later. They ended up so fucked its too juicy to pass up. Will post a bit later

>Did...did you post in the wrong thread or are you rolling the 'canon' AE?
im not sure what "the 'canon' AE" means. I just saw this roll thread for space marines and saw one earlier for chaos space marines and thought I'd post the results.

I may just be a fucking retard. Is that not what we are doing here? Looking back I see a lot of "we". Im pretty sure im just a mong.

Usually in these threads each anon rolls for something and then collaborate on the lore for what’s being made.

Everytime the Inquisitor tries intervening with the voxcast, the marines just decide to make it a public demonstration on a planet. The Ordo realized it’s not worth the effort to eliminate the Chapter since they’re not interfering with anything and it’s *technically* not heresy

Colonel Astrid 361 Neverborne of the 13th Artillery Regiment.
Astrid has served the imperium with distinction for more than 300 years, the last 200 of which as colonel of the 13th Artillery Regiment.
She wears the colors (icy pale blues & luminous whites) with pride, & is always accompanied by the senior bannermen of her regiment.
She’s seen as the source of the 13th’s motto, “hell never thaws & the Neverborne never die”, as despite her relentless pursuit of perfection in the equally ceaseless dismantlement of the emperors enemies in a sea of long range pinning artillery fire, she has nevertheless been the target of battlefield & encampment assassinations no less then 317 times: all downright laughable in execution. It has risen this vatborn by the designation 361 to spiritual embodiment of what the Iceholm Hailstorms view their Neverborne comrades as: Handcrafted Jewels of Ice in the Emperors Storm of Wrath, & should they fail to lapse as most coldspells are hoped to, they will drown them enemy in a sea of hate so complete & unrelenting, the roiling explosions will seem as immutable & constant as the permafrost held about their persons, now so damningly & confoundedly spread upon the enemy beneath.
For her part personally, Astrid has conceived a slightly softer facade & persona in her actual dealings, though it does little to disarm any who don’t already look away from the walking legend in demure reverence or for fear of catching her eye: it is obvious a heartless pit of cold is the greater part of her actual being.
It is rumored still however, that she remembers every name of each marine that has ever succumbed to the enemy before her on the battlefield, & holds silent remembrances where even the towering berg of her person can be said to melt drop by drop.
A legend which has spread an equally private if rampant practice amongst the rest of the Neverborne as a whole, who have taken up eternal wakes in the name of their fallen Angels of Death.

So regiment colors are icey blue and white? Makes me think of these guys though they lack blues
>>

How much Juvenant has she been taking?

https://1d4chan.org/wiki/Titan_Legion_Creation_Tables should have linked this, by B.

Let's assume the Titan Legion is allied to the Space Marines, which means we can skip one of the rolls further down the line

What kind of Titan is at the head of the legion?
>>
>>77309124
A Warmaster Heavy Battle Titan
So basically an Emperor Class titan without the church on the back. So that's cool. A fuck huge titan flanked by a bunch of tiny titans. That's neat.
>>
>>77308934
Sure? I just thought icy blues and snow blind white looked cool, and since they’re astra militarum, they probably don’t care about effective camo.
Speaking of what they wear, they are elite tithe, are they in carapace armor?
If so: dope.
>>77309001
I dunno, maybe something in the clones genetic sequence makes them highly resistant to aging & reactive to Rejuvenat treatment in general
so long as they’re kept at sub room temperature

I have an idea for the Icehomeites, those that exhibit exemplary valor/skill can have their gene code preserved ala Clanners so all around the galaxy you can find identical troopers in command positions

Further ideas for the Icehomeites
>Their eyes have been modified by moth their environment of their homeworld and careful gene coding to reduce the damage of Snow Glare/Blindness, and improvements to general vision, which explains a bit of their skill in Artillery and such
>Improved resistance to cold is also expected
>Genetors have found Vostroyan and Valhallan DNA in the Iceborne's code for reasons unexplained, except possibly ancient Genetors were trying to improve the resilience of the Iceborne?

Perhaps they are being redeployed too often.

When did this legion come to be?
>>
>>77309371
>>77309375
"As the 41st Millenium drew to a close, the might of the Imperium was strained to the breaking point. This Legio was founded to stem the tide." Late to the party.

Also it's 1d100 for their homeworld.
>>
Rolled 28 (1d100)

>Muaaid al-Yassin the Nabi (Prophet)
>Chief Librarian gifted as a diviner, he fortold of Guilliman's resurrection and the sundering of Cadia to the fleet to the shock of everyone but they decided to prepare just incase it came true
>But once it had occurred he was hailed as a great hero
>>
>>77309349
>big guns never tire
>& the Neverborne of Iceholme never get cold
>>77309375
Even the titan legions couldn’t withstand the bared weight & furious pace of the Chapters waged wars & their merciless clone sycophants.
Leaving only the largest and indomitable and the smallest and most agile standing after the multitudes of battlefields have come and gone, swept back and fourth in the winds of the Emperors Wars.
>>
>>77309480
The Legion has been in the thick of the fight sense Cadia fell. No retreat. No surrender. Make the Great Enemy pay with every inch of ground they take with the Earth shaking rounds of our Warmaster Titan. Every Titan that has fallen in battle only drives them to fight even harder. Their efforts are commendable, worthy of notice by even his Lord Regent. But they care not for the reward. Only that the enemy suffer.

Also their home world is War World.
"War World - The 41st Millennium is a time of war, and not even Forge Worlds are free from it. Despite formidable defenses and nigh-unlimited resources, this for is embroiled in a war for its very survival. Yet even so, the Imperium's demands must be met, lest other worlds fall. A Titan Legio from a War World is made up of battle-tested Titans."
The Titans of his Legion were born in fire, from the moment the might gates of the Forge opened and set them loose onto battlefield, they were reigning destruction down on the Great Enemy. The Legion has come to call this 'The Long Walk'.
When Titans go to war, it is called 'a Walk', and this Legion as not stopped walking sense it's birth.
>>
>>77309622
>>77309642
The next roll should be 'Deeds of the Chapter' but I think 9 fits the chapter perfectly.
"Service at the Gate - In centuries of service, your Legio has faced down the Great Enemy at the Cadian Gate and won."
>>
>>77309642
And they take *very* "enthusiastic walks'

>>77309689

Chapter Timeline
>M36: First appearance proper in Imperial Records during the Age of Apostasy. Records of this tie show a far different Chapter, more in line with proper sons of Guilliman than the fanatics of today
>Ordo Astartes records show a noticeable descent to zealotry once the AoA was over, very likely due to the inability of groups such as the High Lords of Terra and Adeptus Custodes to remove Goge Vandire from power or curbing the worst of his excesses
>M38-M39: It is around this tme period that the 'Crusade Fleet' started to take form, until then the Chapter had acted as lone operatives from their Battle Barge/Fortress Monastary *****, having abandoned their homeworld of **** in early M38, toward the end of M38 is when they aided the defense of Iceholme and the fleet was 'Gifted' several regiments of Guard as replacement for the extinction of a number of regiments during the aid
>M39-Present: It is obvious that deteriorating conditions of the galaxy and the (Naive) sycophantic nature of the Vat-Grown Icehome Guardsmen have had a negative effect on the Marines
>>
>>77296275
Maybe they use a special cold type of promethium and plasma as their primary arms.
Could be some special rules they have.

>heat sinks: be it a preternatural talent in hand to draw the most and best from their more temperamental weapons, or a particularly potent and dependable composition of cryotheium incendiary’s within the battlements themselves, the Neverborns most terrible armaments are also their most tried and true.
>this unit rerolls any roll of one to made when determining the number of attacks and hit rolls when attacking with a heavy weapon.

>choking storm of hail & flak/warding storm of the emperors wrath: legend tells of the blinding, whirling clouds of death dealing hail that surround the artillery of the Neverborne Regiments of Iceholme, the source be it from their spite for the enemies of the imperium manifest or the copious exhaust of their overtaxed and restless guns, it heralds the death of the enemy & the blessings of the emperor regardless.

>The 'Crusade' Fleet is technically an unsanctioned Crusade fleet in the eyes of the Adeptas/Ordos that know of it's existence, and despite this it's effectiveness and small size along with loyalty proven time and again has let it escape dismantlement over the centuries
>Outside of the Iceholme born Regiments it has a number of Regiments that have come and gone, whether destryyed or having left for other fleets with the Iceholme Regiments remaining fixtures

>still these man carry the highest ambitions of the most towering giants upon their backs, not only holding what was given to them but driving back the enemy so that the fledgeling beach heads can be erected into devastating pillars of screaming hate for the souls of heretics caught in the grimace of anger the emperor eternally bares towards them and their traitorous fellows.

>In Guilliman's eyes, Lorgar saw a wealth of purest, depthless hared. A hatred not formed from one action and one event, but a chemical cauldron of emotion strong enough to twist even the calmest, most composed demigod in the Imperium. Anger flared in those eyes, of course. More than anger, it was rage. >Frustration tainted it further; the desperation of not understanding why this was happening, and the ferocity of one who still believes he might find a way to stop it.
>Hurt - somehow, seeing the hurt in Guilliman's eyes was the worst of all - also poisoned the mix and made it rancid. This wasn't the pure rage of Corax on the killing fields - the fury of a brother betrayed. This fury was saturated into something much harsher and much more complex.
>It was the pain of a builder, an architect, a loyal son who had done all that was ever asked of him, and had seen his life's work die in foolish, spurious futility.
>Lorgar knew that feeling, had known it since he knelt in the ashes of the Perfect City, the entire settlement destroyed by Guilliman's fleet on the Emperor's orders. For the first time in all the years of their wildly disparate lives, Lorgar Aurelian and Roboute Guilliman connected as equals.
