>You shouldn't be running a game unless you have musclegirl swords in it.

This isn't a bait generator, it's a TRUTH generator!
>>
>How would you make authentic slaves?
well for a start it wouldn't be driven by racial discrimination. for almost all of history, slavery was actually an economic thing, and most slaves were slaves because they sold themselves to pay off a debt (ie, bankruptcy) or because they were criminals (think 1800s era convicts working a quarry as Hollywood presents them.)

>3e is the best edition of d&d, prove me wrong.
I can't, it's literally the most codified, crunchiest d&d edition since ever and therefore the best ever.

>inb4 muh casters/martials imbalance
Literally every edition of d&d has this issue, also if you had actually played the game you would know that casters supremacy starts fading after peaking in mid levels range and disappears beyond the 20th level a.k.a. martials absolute domain.

>inb4 muh frakshit builds
The dm is mandated to list what is available for a given game, if you aren't doing your job you have only yourself to blame.

Bumpfag and his ilk infested the reddit tourists, turning it into r/worldbuilding but shittier with many anons going on their own personal crusades against creativity:
>>80767771

/tg/ is full of the following kinds of people

>Anons who viciously hate creativity, and do not seem to like or create anything at all. This is because showing any form of preference would render them vulnerable to mockery, which they avoid at all costs since the only thing they value is social status. Most likely a consoomer who has become so accustomed to the taste of corporate pablum, everything that does not come from The Mouse's rectum causes them to shrivel up like salted snails. They rely on vapid insults and extremely ridiculous lies.
> Passive, submissive, dependent little cowards who sap away at people who actually contribute with trivial questions because they too lack imaginations. When called out on this, they immediately get defensive and accuse the contributor of forcing them to make their setting. Notice how they have very, very strong notions of personal ownership, and go to incredible lengths to stop people from "stealing" their ideas. They treat /tg/ like their own personal netflix special, and scoff at the idea of engaging with this board beyond a surface level.

Really? I saw a handful, not several, and they didn't seem like they got as much traction as the usual shitposts (maybe they just weren't inflammatory enough). Or Maybe my filters are just doing a good job.
Still, I think people will catch on eventually. Maybe shitposts will get the obligatory anons pointing out that there's a bot to make such posts that'll then curb engagement. I just think it's more realistic that overall board culture will weed the shit out through suspicions of botdom than the mods actually getting their act together.

One of these days I might append 5 randomly generated smug, hypocritical insults, as well as 5 spineless requests for easily googlable information to the generator, but that would be a whole lot harder than the random OP one.

Trouble is, replies generally tend to have more thought out structure than OPs. And it will be a serious ordeal to perfectly encapsulate the utter stupidity, delusions and obnoxiousness I see on this board. What I plan to do is program the generator to select from a range of templates dictating what *kind* of insipid reply it is.

Bumpfaggery, as well as accusations of "freakshit" and "nogames", will be the first.

But let's think about the positives. Count the blessings I have right now.

With each passing day, I see that my thread generator has caused more of a stir than the last. Everything is falling into place. With all this gleeful rubbing, my hands shall never feel cold again.

We're already at levels that would be unimaginable not half a decade ago and there is no limit to how much worse it can get.
>>
>>80799630
No, I know it crashes and dies instead of just getting worse. Eventually, at some point, everything gets so bad that no one wants to be here. You can already see it with how /tg/ is nothing but generals and shitposts.
Humans aren't eternal suffering machines, anon. They eventually reach their pain point and quit.
>>
>>80799628
How does increasing shitposting, the thing which ruins boards and drives people who actually want to talk and who create things away because they get tired of it, improve /tg/? If the moderation team haven't pulled /qa/ despite how absolutely awful that board became, why do you think that they would pull /tg/ because you increase traffic?
>>
>>80799646
No you idiot, because there's a never ending stream of shitposters that more shitposting attracts because they see it as a place where they can be stupid without consequences. At most, at VERY most, you'll get a /GW/ and /RPG/ spin-off boards like /v/.
>>

>>80799649
>How does increasing shitposting, the thing which ruins boards and drives people who actually want to talk and who create things away because they get tired of it, improve /tg/?
I believe the plan is to force moderation's hand. This generator will lead to a rapid proliferation of low-effort one-sentence baitposting. Moderation MUST act with a heavy hand to prevent that particular type of shitposting from occurring on this board or they will have to watch the board turn to shit. By giving such a powerful tool to shitposters, their shenanigans will reach such a critical mass that it becomes impossible to ignore, forcing intervention from on high. And if they don't care even at that point, we're doomed anyway.

Quests didn't get banned because of popular outcry, they got banned because a small group of shitposters took advantage of the change of management and got them kicked off against the majority opinion and drove off a ton of people who actually created stuff in the process. It's literally proof that mods will do stupid shit and listen to shitposters.
>>
>>80799767
The mods WANT shitposters because it increases traffic for ad clicks, you idiot. If the mods wanted to stop shitposting, they'd crack down already. Instead we've had nearly a decade of things being banned off /tg/ because shitposters wouldn't stop causing trouble and they saw it as easier to remove what annoyed shitposters than the shitposters themselves.

How does that prove anything? I'd much rather have a handful of bad quests which persist over the current state of affairs. Remember, removing quests was always argued to be to improve /tg/ because apparently they damaged it. Did that happen or did things get worse? Did shitposting die down, or did the small number of shitposters get validated and taught their tactics worked? Also, learn to use the catalog.

>I'd much rather have a handful of bad quests which persist over the current state of affairs
You act like there wasn't general shitposting and general flooding. It isn't quests or shitposts, its quests and shitposts or just shitposts.

>Did that happen or did things get worse?
Things improved because there was less trash flooding the board.

>Did shitposting die down
If you consider quests to be shitposts than yes.

>Also, learn to use the catalog.
I do, quests flooded the entire board and quest makers went out of their way to make their quests annoying to filter by refusing to use the same terminology. The same can be seen in generals that use "thread" in place of general.
