Timeline for now, still needs a couple of tweaks. There's a debate about moving or not moving the BoE a couple of centuries back in time and cutting some of the years in the 1st/2nd Millenium or not, thus keeping CY the same. Feedback would be appreciated.

Also, if someone writes historical lore, please leave the dates clear. Either an actual date, or just saying "it happened X years ago". That'd help immensly.
>>
Also, should we start making regional maps of the biggest nations of the setting? I feel that's kind of overdue.

Drunigzar has a lot of known cities, it's one of the few countries with an actual national map.

In fact, I think only two countries have a national map, Drunigzar and Furlaniya.

I think it's better to focus on the nations that have had the most lore regarding their geography/locations, like Azhar Nar, Azan and the Drow. While the Witch Elves are for example a major power, there is very little known about them and we'd have to do lots of theorycrafting and it'd take a while.

Drow city-states have a regional map, most communities on map are explicitly identified as cities.

There are some more cities/towns than mentioned here on the Furlaniya area regional maps.

Terusia peninsula has some cities mentioned, also Gvilderstaaten. Bog-Witch territory has lots of small communities mentioned.

More Red Lotus stuff.

>Arrival to Riririn Island
After the Red Lotus’ escape into the sea, information about the cult’s activities quickly vanished. Changrilese authorities firmly believed that they had all drowned into the ocean, and just focused on putting down the remaining centers of resistance, repairing the economy and trying to gain back the lands invaded by the drow. Changrila’s neighbors had a different story. There are many reports of sighting the Red Lotus’ fleet, mauled and in a state of disrepair, which convinced most of these countries that it was not worth finishing them off. Any attack against the coastal cities would easily sink the cult’s battered ships, so they just ordered any civilian vessels to move away if they sighted the fleet. After that, months passed without any glimpse of the Red Lotus, which many believe they had finally died of thirst or sank into the sea.
>>
>>85689252
Historians still discuss how exactly the Red Lotus’ fleet, battered, broken and with scant resources, managed to cross the Sunset Ocean and reach the coast of southern Scimitarian. However it was, they managed to land in Riririn Island. This area is famous in the region for the treacherous currents and storms that block the island from travel. As such, at the time the Red Lotus’ arrived to the island, no doubt losing more ships in the process, there were only a couple of small drow and dwarven settlements, disconnected from each other and from the rest of the Scimitarian. The Red Lotus then took to occupy the entire island. Whatever numbers were left, they were enough to destroy the native populations. Most assumed the Red Lotus offered many of the region’s inhabitants the chance to convert, but the lack of sightings of drow or dwarf cultists, it is safely to assume they didn’t accept it. Once the island was fully under their control, they began the reconstruction of the “Kingdom of Heaven on Earth”, where they stay to this day.

There have been many attempts of expansion by the Red Lotus, mostly focusing on the Cornfloor Peninsula and the nearby palm grove, though usually their numbers are not enough to settle indefinitely there before an alliance of Drow City states drive them off to the sea again.
>>
>>85689271
>Society and Religion
The Red Lotus live in near isolation from the rest of the world, and since their most fervent followers were the ones who finally reached Riririn Island, their society has become one of zealotry. Religion impregnates every single aspect of the populations’ lives, ruled by the Red Lotus’ High Priests, the kejinmushis, the only ones who can still see Dihong Xinjianng in person. The Kejinmushis claim that Dihong Xinjianng is in near constant connection with the "Great and Holy Celestial Father of All", and as such, any other person not enlightened enough would succumb from the sheer holiness he emanates now. The Kejinmushis now rule every aspect of the island with an iron fist. Their society has turned into a dark shadow of changrilese society, but with all free will nearly fully extirpated from the population.
>>
>>85689297
There is no individual property within the Red Lotus. All property is owned and controlled by the Dihong Xinjianng and handled by the Kejinmushis, and they are the ones who organize the labor, deciding which job an individual will have for the rest of their lives. Working hard is not just a necessity, it is also a divine mandate, and the higher echelons of the cult always exalt the virtues of dedicating themselves fully to work and to the "Great and Holy Celestial Father of All" above anything else. They are the ones who decide where the production is destined to, and to what purpose. The fear of divine reprisals for failing at their jobs keep the population focused at their tasks, with death by exhaustion being a common sight. Famine is a very real possibility, since many of the lands of the Riririn Island are not suited for agriculture, and near zero commerce with the outside means there is no chance to compensate for bad crops. Add to this that the Kejinmushis’s organizing of the agriculture is frequently subpar, and since their designs always come from the "Great and Holy Celestial Father of All", it’s not them who failed, but those less enlightened. This leads of frequent purges, both to keep the population in line and to reduce the number of mouths to feed. Disease is considered as a divine punishment, and people who show signs of disease and weakness are told to sacrifice themselves for the Greater Good, usually by entering in the forest and never returning or walking into the ocean.
>>
>>85688654
thread 15 actually (the first thread 15)
>>
>>85689316
The main tool for control of the population is faith. People are indoctrinated in the faith of the "Great and Holy Celestial Father of All" from birth, and any child who shows any kind of doubt during their education is disappeared without leaving a trace. Every day the Cult organizes multiple great prayer sessions, and these repeat every single day of the year. Every single misfortune is blamed on either divine punishment or the evil outsiders, wanting to defy and ruin the "Great and Holy Celestial Father of All" while every fortune is due to the "Great and Holy Celestial Father of All", Dihong Xinjianng and the Kejinmushis. The Church organizes the constructions of tens of thousands of temples, each one bigger than the last, only to be demolished and be built again. The Red Lotus’ iconoclastic beliefs forbid the use of icons as religious symbols, so instead they write the words of Dihong Xinjianng everywhere. Every wall of every house and building has engraved scripture, to the point where some houses are not allowed to have windows due to making them would remove the Holy Word from the wall. They also use song to compensate for their lack of icons. Prayers are sung constantly, night and day, in every town, field and mine in the area, and they never cease. Specialized members of the Cult, the Henjang Shenhang, are in charge of the heavenly choirs. They are not allowed to stop singing until exhaustion hits them, and if one of them ever loses their voice, they are taken away and disappeared. As such, they have developed a sign language to be able to communicate with each other and with their handlers, which they use while they sing their hymns. While they are not singing, they are put under an induced coma to allow them to recuperate their strength. All of this creates an atmosphere where faith is not only inescapable, but unquestionable.
>>
>>85689335
Language has also been taken over by the Red Lotus. One of the first things that was decreed was the creation of a new language, making outside intervention in the island much more difficult due to the language barrier. The Cult’s tongue is considerably twisted and difficult, while at the same time reducing the concepts used as much as possible, with the lower classes of people not even knowing enough words to understand other cultists from a different occupation. Concepts as “self”, “happiness”, “sadness” and “own” are some of the examples of ideas that have been completely erased from the Cult’s minds. Other concepts, such as “outsiders”, “evil” and “heresy” have been fused together, to keep anyone under the rule of the Red Lotus to not even consider any kind of contact with the outside.

>History

The Vilgans have always occupied the island of Devon, with Zeresh being settled much more recently, around two to three hundred years aog. Their origin is unknown, although some oral stories claim the Vilgans came from the south, where they settled the island of Devon.

Vilga was actually the name of the first kingdom that was established in Devon, hundreds of years ago. It was eventually split up because of infighting between three Houses; House Tanjona, House Medane and House Utkus. The three Houses, facing threats from Elanxa, eventually established the Tribunal, a joint alliance between them.

The Tribunal included members of all the houses, from merchants, nobles, knights and mages. After repelling an invasion attempt by Elanxa, the Tribunal gained more political power within Devon.

The Tribunal members that were blood related to each house planned to overthrow those that did, and using their dastardly schemes they succeeded at that. The power once held by members of House Tanjona, Medane and Utkus was now much less, and most of their land and estates were taken by them following a bloody civil war. After it, the Tribunal was mostly constituted by members of many different "lesser" houses, as well other influential citizens. Devon was united once more, under the name of the "Republic of Vilga". Three factions were distinguished within the Tribunal.
>>
>>85694216
four* instead of three

These four factions included the Bisons, the Pangolins, the Owls and the Gryphons. These represented the nobility, the merchant class, the priesthood and the wizards of Vilga, respectively.

The Devonese -or Vilgans, as most refer to themselves nowadays- had built a prosperous nation, relishing in the trade between the Silver Kingdom, the Platinum Princedom and the Elanxan Empire. However, that all changed when the Elyrians attacked.

Their fleet, despite its bravery, was defeated by Avangar when they were tricked and outmaneuvered. They soon submitted to them, turning into a pseudo-shell of a puppet nation.

The Gryphons were by far the most distrustful of their new masters. Despite being warlocks themselves, they detested the impunity of use of the arcane in Avangar, and resisted the most out of all against the invaders. They were kicked out of the Tribunal, and the Elyrians made sure they would be forgotten and mistrusted by the general populace. Their propaganda stated that it was the general mistrust and discrimination of magic users that lead to their political exile.

Some Gryphons left to Elanxa. Others were burned in the stake, while others got impaled by the crossbow bolts of the dedicated witch-hunters. But little do the councils know that some warlocks disguised themselves, gathering their own following in Vilga.

The Gryphons, under disguise, are constantly preaching to the masses against their rulers and the corrupt priesthood, while the Civic guard are cracking down any sign of insubordination.

The Quamona Tong, as they call their group of resistance, meaning "the correctors of errors" are fiercely opposed to any foreign presence whatsoever on Devon, and all its schemes are designed to get rid of the Elyrians. The Quamona Tong, spearheaded by the former Gryphon "Tuaron Olgiers" mostly tries to put their own supporters in the council, all while gathering the support of local businesses.
>>
>>85694459
In one ruthless undertaking, the Quamona Tong kidnapped a horned ogre from the hills, gutted its belly and flung its corpse into the Lakeuza river, framing a group of young Elyrians for the murder.

>Government

Traditionally, rule of the city and the island boils down to four factions. One, the Bisons, are the nobility of the city, consisting of many families. They descend from the first rulers of Vilga, when it was but a small village. They mostly are in control of the Civic Guard and the fleets that roam the Labyrinth Sea.

The Pangolins, on the other hand, are the merchant ruling class of Vilga, and consist of many merchant groups. Spice merchants compete with silk merchants, incense merchants compete with silver merchants, and so goes on. The Leopards are in charge of, well, preserving trade and the merchant fleet of Vilga.

The priesthood of the city is represented by the Owls, consisting of the priesthood of the city, who are responsible for mantaining religious order, as well as tending to the poor. They have fallen in hard times, since by being invaded by Avangar, the Elyrians have imposed their own religion on the Vilgans, their own religion undermined.

The last faction, the Gryphons, are all but forgotten by the ruling class and the history books, thanks to the Elyrian propaganda and the pogroms they deliberately caused, due to their resistance against the invasion.

The Gryphons once had their own council, with their own representantive in the Palace of a Thousand Thrones. However, their prestige and power has waned over the years. Their own palace has been reduced to no less than a ruin.

All four factions form their own councils, constantly competing with each other and infighting, and they all choose one representative every two years. The three representatives get to co-rule Vilga from the Palace of a Thousand Thrones, although the faction councils have been dilluted by spies and bribesmen from Avangar for years.

>Geography

Devon is mostly a flat island. The river Lazeuka runs through Devon, with most of the island's settlements being built alongs its course, or at the island's coast. The generally mild summers and springs of Devon and its flat terrain makes it ideal for growing crops and trees of all kinds. The shore is mostly rocky, dotted with large, granite cliffs.

Zeresh is more hilly and mountainous, which explains the fact that the few villages are built on the islands shores.

>Locations

Vilga is by far the largest city of the Republic. It's built along the course of the Lazeuka river, near the western part of the island. The city's two districts are separated by the river. In the middle of Lazeuka lies an island, on which the Palace of the Thousand Thrones is built. Vilga is infamous for its plantations, its opium dens and its Quamona Tong infested sewers and catacombs.

Other settlements in Devon include the towns of Altman and Evander, as well as the eastern settlement of Marro on the eastern coast. The castles of Lorvingen and Aunkere are the ancestral homes of House Medane and House Utkus, respectively.

The only notable settlement in Zeresh is the village of Donaires on the northern coast. It's where a Quamona Tong base is established, with a smuggling operation being run from there.

>Economy

Thanks to its rich waters and plentiful arable land, large part of Vilga's population works in fisheries or in farms, cultivating crops such as carrots, potatoes, wheat and radish. Vilga's main export is wine, with its vineyards producing the most popular wine in the East.

Apart from agriculture and fishing, the opium trade plays an important role in the Vilgan economy, as thanks to Avangar's invasion the Devil's Poppy has found itself on the streets of Vilga. The Quamona Tong controls most of the opium trade, and produce most of their wealth by smuggling it into Vilga and other cities of the east.

So, the two main drugs of this setting are the Devil's Poppy opioid and the White Death powder (cocaine)?

>Siuverland

>History:

Siuverland became a province of the Azan/Dragon Empire early on, but has long been plagued by problems, and is generally regarded as cursed.

Many of its problems are believed to have been in some way associated with Althazar, the Fallen Dragon, who was cast down by Bronzar in mythological times, and has since then become a powerful demon lord associated with wrath and greed.

The so called Ancestral Breach has existed as far back as humans can remember, and according to experts on the subject, was gradually closing for millennia and was generally considered dormant. However, it over time became apparent that some people were using the breach somehow to contact Althazar. Cults sprung up, demons were summoned, strange calamities occurred, wars and rebellions happened in which Althazar’s involvement was suspected, etc. Given the Old Azan Faith’s strong dislike for demonic creatures, witch-hunts and persecutions became a common occurrence on the island.

Despite these efforts however, the percentage of the population with demonic heritage gradually increased, and the discrimination these individuals faced made them natural adherents to Althazar’s cults. 1000 years ago, the Dragon/Azan Empire took the highly unusual and controversial step of culling the entire demon tiefling population of the island, which triggered revolt even among the pure strain humans, and allowed the Cult of Althazar to seize control of the island and try to reopen the Ancestral Breach, only to lose the island following an extremely bloody invasion and cull.

With much of the island’s population dead or fled into exile, the Patriarchs of the Old Azan Faith resettled it with members of a wide range of devout (if not fanatical) religious organizations, in hopes they would prevent anyone from reopening the breach. Before long, Siuverland is seen as the religious capital of the Empire.

Not long after their success in Siuverland, the Azan/Dragon Empire goes into decline following the loss of Changrila, Scimitaria, and other regions. Cooperation between religious authorities and the nobility reach an all time high as many of the old noble families start relying on the Faith to provide moral backing to the increases on rent and taxes many nobles enacted in order to make up for loss profit streams that once came in from the now lost territories.

Having dragon heritage is seen as increasingly important as it was seen as a sign of divine heritage and a provided a major boast to an individual’s moral authority. This provides the Cult of Althazar with a new “in” to infiltrate Azan society. His followers are granted the ability to infuse newborns with a fraction of Althazar’s dragon heritage, giving them the all important dragonic appearance, but also tainting them with some demonic heritage as well.

Eventually this tainted bloodline becomes so common that many folk with no knowledge of Althazar have it, particularly in Siuverland. Unfortunately for them, Althazar’s ruse is discovered roughly 900 years ago, and a second purge of the demon tieflings occurs, again slaying or driving out much of Siuverland’s population.

This purge is even more unpopular than the first, and is one of the motivations to form the New Azan Faith, which comes into being not long afterwards.

The main holy orders which carried out the purge are outraged at the loss of moral authority and consolidate their forces in Siuverland and vow to maintain the ethics of their orders rather than adopt the more nuanced moral code of the New Faith. This leads to a brief war that only causes the holy orders to become even more extreme in their beliefs.

For the past 900 years since rebelling, Siuverland has been a much hated pariah state, infamous for their purges against those with demonic bloodlines. But the extent of these bloodlines was far wider than once thought, and with each generation more and more children are born with demonic features and are purged. Some say the Cult of Althazar has found a way to taint babies while they are still in the womb, ensuring the child would be purged no matter how confident the parents are of their heritage.

In recent times, nearly 2 in 3 children are born with demonic features, and much of the island’s population has fled into exile, leaving just a small fringe of fanatics to carry out their increasingly futile purges.

>Government:

The ruler of Siuverland is known as the Patriarch. In other regions (or former regions) of the Azan Empire, these individuals only exercise moral, not secular power, but in Siuverland, the Patriarch completely controls both.

The mix of hard line religious orders that went into exile in Siuverland following the creation of the New Azan Faith gradually mixed and mingled until they became one monolithic entity simply known as “The Order”, with a rigid hierarchy running all the way from laymen laborers to the Patriarch himself.

>Economy:

Although its lands are fertile, the population is much lower than it once was, as a result, many farms and whole towns and villages are now empty and overgrown, and every remaining community feels partially abandoned.

There are still enough common folk left for the island to be self-sufficient in terms of food production and basic manufacturing. For higher end goods, The Order barters using the treasures it accumulated during better times.

>Foreign Relations:

No one really likes Siuverland, or interacts with them more than they have to. Their child killing tendencies have given them a dark reputation in the west even worse than Bumi and its fanatical cult, or Moreelse and its drugs.

Azan is strangely reluctant to try to retake the island, though they have spoken of it for centuries. Some say the tiefling purge does serve some sort of purpose in keeping the Ancestral Breach closed, so certain secretive parties within Azan’s government derail any talk of an invasion. Further supporting this theory is that members of the Ancient Order of Most Practical Wizards, and the Astromancers have occasionally been seen in Siuverland for unknown reasons.

Other foreigners are occasionally seen in Siuverland, most of them are converts, mercenaries, or shady merchants, but some are also likely agents and spies for nearby governments, cults, and criminal organizations.

>Geography:

The Siuverland Islands are fairly flat, and possess a temperate climate. Once upon a time, the islands were almost entirely settled, but now much of the land has gone back to nature.

Occasionally strange, glowing cracks in the ground form in remote areas, a sure sign the Ancestral Breach is becoming increasingly active.

>Demographics:

Humans – make up most of the population. Aside from the religious fanaticism, they are ethnically and culturally similar to humans living on the northern edge of the Azan Empire.

Dragon Tieflings – there are still a few dragon tieflings on the island, though they are inevitably high ranking members of The Order, and rarely interact with lower ranking members they aren’t familiar with and who could mistake them for demon dragon tieflings.

Demon Dragon Tieflings – created by Althazar when he tainted the bloodlines of followers via unknown means nearly a millennia ago, they resemble dragon tieflings, but The Order has ways of distinguishing between the two, and hunts them relentlessly.

Miscellaneous – many non-humans mistakenly believe The Order is genocidal, or at least bigoted, towards non-humans, so most of the few foreigners who visit are human. Among the indigenous population, there are also a handful of dwarves and hobbits that have been there for generations.

>Religion:

The Order is a religious organization built around an extremist interpretation of the Old Azan Faith, who in particular see it as their responsibility to stamp out the followers of Althazzar, and the demon dragon tieflings. It traces its ancestry back to several religious orders sent to purge and repopulate Siuverland over a millennia ago.

To the dismay of followers of the New Faith, and even less radical members of the Old Faith, some of the priests of The Order still retain their divine spellcasting abilities, suggesting their actions are still more or less in line with Bronzar’s expectations.

The Cult of Althazzar is still rumored to be active on the island, operating in secret. This close to the Ancestral Breach, the powers potentially available to those who chose to follow Althazzar are strong.

More Red Lotus stuff.

>Military
The Red Lotus still preserve the structures of the Heavenly Armies, created during the Changrilese Civil War. However, it has evolved into a policing force, tasked first and foremost to obey the mandates of the kejinmushis. The army is divided into different sections. First, the professional trained army, originally made up by the surviving members of the Heavenly Armies, now comprising 1 out of 15 of the total population of the country. These forces are tasked with the protection of the country from outside threats, and nowadays they are the ones in charge of the Red Lotus’ attempts of occupying the Cornfloor Peninsula. They are mainly composed of light infantry, with auxiliary elements of light cavalry, allowing them to cover a lot of distance considerably fast. This speed is used to cut supply lines and wage and to harass the enemy without getting into a direct assault. In reality, the design of the Heavenly Army nowadays is both to intimidate the population and as a show of force, promising to protect them from the “devils” from outside.
>>
>>85702699
The second part of the Heavenly Armies are the Diwouixoian Zis or the “Enlightened Wave”, and comprises nearly the entirety of the population. At the orders of the kejinmushis, vast swathes of the population can be ordered to take up arms and fight against the enemies of the Red Lotus by using waves of human attacks. These soldiers will be barely trained beforehand, only being given the minimum necessary to identify and follow commands. They will be armed with whatever arms they can find, from simple spears to farm equipment, and rush the enemy while chanting their prayers.

The third part of the Heavenly Armies is the Heavenly Navy, and this is the most vital tool for the Red Lotus to project their strength outwards. The Island of Riririn is near always surrounded by frequent fogs and storms. As such, their sailors have become experts not only at navigating within storms, but also at knowing the areas where sailing is easier. This has turned the Heavenly Navy into terrific pirates, able to strike fast and run away back to Riririn before the other powers in the area can react. However, due to the Red Lotus’ isolation, their actual ship production capabilities are not up to par with other nations, usually sporting older ships repaired over and over. This forces the Heavenly Navy to try to capture as many vessels as they can. Any prisoners caught are to be brought back to the island, to be enlightened by the word of Dihong Xinjianng and the "Great and Holy Celestial Father of All".
>>
>>85702712
The fourth and final member of the Heavenly Armies are the Cinyan or “Kind Eyes”. These forces combine activities such as secret police, propaganda, special operations outside of Riririn Island and the enlightenment of the prisoners caught from outside. They act under the direct control and supervision of the kejinmushis, and always act behind a great deal of secret and mystery, not even having any kind of uniform of insignia distinction. The Cinyan also uses the very few wizards the Red Lotus has under their wing. Since the end of the Changrilese Civil War, the Red Lotus’ only chance of getting new wizards and their up to date knowledge is through piracy and kidnapping, thus the need for the Cinyan to be able to know how to break the individual’s defenses to make it into a true believer. Their methods, however, are unknown.
>>
>>85702723
>Foreign Relations
The Red Lotus Congregation has declared multiple times that they, and they alone, have the favor of the "Great and Holy Celestial Father of All", and those who do not acquiesce to His holy mandate are heretics that need to be erased so that His divine designs could come true. This has made relations with foreign nations near impossible, and the sentiment is mutual. No neighboring country has ever had any firm alliance with them, and near all of them have fought against the Red Lotus’ piracy in the area. There’s also near zero trade with the outside world, outside of the lowliest of contrabandists and pirates, willing to accept any kind of payment. As such, many considered the Red Lotus Congregation as the most isolated nation in the world. Near all countries that know of the Red Lotus and the cult of the "Great and Holy Celestial Father of All" have banned their worship, thus preventing the Red Lotus from gaining influence on their land.
>>
>>85702736
Two nations in particular want the Red Lotus gone: the Drow City States and the Changrila Empire. The Drow City States hold a grudge against the Red Lotus for the massacre of the original drow population in Riririn Island, and for their continuous attacks to the Cornfloor Peninsula. It is frequent to see many independent drow cities unite briefly to hunt down pirate activity or the Red Lotus’ expeditions to mainland Scimitarian. However, the forces needed for a full invasion of Riririn are outside of the independent cities’ capabilities, not to mention interests.

The Changrila Empire also wants the Red Lotus destroyed for obvious reasons. The persecutions against the cult of the "Great and Holy Celestial Father of All" has continued years after the end of the Changrilese Civil War, with small rebellions popping up every couple of years. Many changrilese official are of the opinion that this instability will not end until the Red Lotus’ main base is erased completely. However, many also believe that the effort of invading the island (especially an island as fortified as Riririn Island and with such terrible weather) would not be worth the effort. The Changrilese Navy monitors the routes taken by the Heavenly Navy, in the hopes of discovering a route where they could invade safely should the need to do so.

Seems kind of dubious given the island was settled by only 50,000ish guys only a few decades ago
>>
>>85706107
I was going to write more about it tomorrow, but as part of the plans of the kejinmushis to defend the island, there wany projects to turn Riririn into a great fortress. One of those things is a policy to have as many children as possible, as fast as possible and as soon as possible, which has made the population explode. This also helps the brainwashing, since the Cinyan can see who's less loyal and quietly dispose of them from an early age. Thus, after a couple of generations, most of the population only knew a world where the Red Lotus and "Great and Holy Celestial Father of All" rules without alternative or opposition.

Also, that is one of the purposes of the Heavenly Navy raids, to get slaves to brainwash and turn into new cultists, avoiding consanguineal problems.

>Religion and Culture
The Vilgan faith revolves around the worship of various pagan gods, saints, as well as ancestor worship. Patron gods differ from community to community and from house to house.

Family plays an important role in the society of Vilga. Each family buries their dead in their own catacombs, and defiling their resting place can be punished by death. Necromancy is shunned and explains why many Vilgans, and especially the Gryphons disdain the invading Elyrians so much.

As with all conquered regions of Avangars, the Elyrians have tried to enforce their own religion upon these lands. Fire temples have been built in the name of Avangar, and some members of the Tribunal have paid tribute to them, although the native Vilgan populace have been oblivious to the Elyrian faith.

>Demographics

Vilga's population is almost exclusively human, and majority native at that. Sometimes traders from , the Kingdom of Silver, Gold, the Platinum Princedom and the Kingdom of Tarot can be found in the city of Vilga. In recent years, some Elyrians have moved to Devon, mostly religious authorities, millitary commanders and civil enforcers, as well as other foreignborn wizards.

There is a small enclave of Horned Ogres on the eastern part of Devon, living in caves near creeks and small hollow hills. These Ogres stay far away from civilization, and are generally left undisturbed by the Vilgans.
>>
>>85710955
>Foreign Relations

Avangar

Vilga remains a vassal of Avangar. Although the general populace - and especially those loyal to the Gryphons and the Quamona Tong - feel hatred towards Avangar, the Elyrians have done a good job at controlling the Tribunal, as well as cracking all sorts of political opposition. Avangar uses the farms of Devon to supply their army. The Elyrian treatment of the Belizians who fled to Vilga has instilled fear in the hearts of the Vilgans.

Kingdom of Poker

Another nation conquered by Avangar. The Quamona Tong have friends in their court, and try to sway any enemies of Avangar towards their cause.

Kunt and Nerega

The red pirates of Kunt used to raid the coastal Devonese and Zereshian towns and villages, although these raids have now stopped as these pirates are fearful of the Elyrian patrols in the Labyrinth Bay. The Dreaded Wharf in the island of Nerega used to be a Vilgan colony, although now it's been overrun by pirates and repurposed into a bustling pirate town. The Quamona Tong's influence runs deep between these two pirate factions, who serve their smuggling operations.

Platinum Princedom, Aine Saevherne, Kingdom of Silver and Gold, Fyrd and Golden Sea of Wheat

These nations are one of the main trading partners of Vilga, and have been since antiquity. The Platinum Princedom is the primary funder of the Quamona Tong and the pirates of Labyrinth Bay, as they remain the primary enemies of Avangar.

Kingdom of Tarot and Realm of the Harmony Goddess

Trade occurs regularly between Vilga and the Kingdom of Cups, as well as the pilgrims that make their stay at the temple of the Tempered Body.

Blackstone Prison Islands

The Vilgans used to throw their most wicked criminals at the hands of the Wardens, but now this proccess is controlled by Avangar, who choose to recruit the dark mages who rot in the dungeons of Vilga.

Tower of Insanity

Vilgan sailors avoid this place, and for good reason.
>>
>>85711495
Elanxa

Elanxa has been Vilga's primary trading partner throughout the years, alongside the Belizians of Stor Kartoflu island. Relations were always good, and Vilga were hoping for Elanxa to intervene when Avangar declared war on them. This help never came, however, as the Emperor decided to preserve Elanxa's neutrality, a stance that is still retained to this day. Most of the Gryphons who were ostracized fled to Elanxa, and were accepted with some reluctance.

The clergy aren’t as oblivious though, and have used the past two decades to stockpile massive amounts of magical weaponry and recruit agents, in order to aid the Quamona Tong and the exiled Gryphons.

>Mutäagrad
Mutäagrad is the second largest "city" in the Bog Witch's Domain and the personal seat of power for Baba Mutä, the youngest Daughter of the Bog Witch.

>History

Mutäagrad began as a "company town" of enslaved people and laborers that built the lavish mansion in which Mutä lives and torments her playthings. Over time, Mutä's interest in foreign goods, foreign people to corrupt and foreign people to enslave led to the mansion to grow a boom town around it.

>Geography
Mutäagrad is built on the shore of the Lake of Landerstaat. The land west of the lake is relatively solid compared to the rest of the realm, leading to trade routes feeding into the town.
>Economy
The Lake is a center for Mutägrad's economy. Goods and people are imported and shipped via the lake to deeper parts of the domain. Mutä's habit of collecting local influential people under her sway has built a small market as a host for meetings and conclaves of less savory organizations and dealings, especially since Mutä will take a good torture show as rent. It is one of Daligra's chief trading partners for this reason.
>>
>>85715445
>Points of Interest:
Mutädom is a lavish mansion that changes design with Mutä's moods. Currently, it is a sick parody of a Changrilan Beachhouse, based on a painting she purchased from her latest plaything. It is often hosting cruel games where Mutä tests champions against beings from the lake. Those who fail are tortured publically those who win "earn" one of Mutä's twisted contracts.

The Veĩktivica Conclave.
After Witch War Three, Baba Lustra implored The Bog Witch to meet with representatives of the Witch-Elves to smooth over issues caused by Mutä's raids that interrupted Lustra's poison trade. No one knows if The Bog Witch ever arrived but since then an uneasy peace formed between the Witch-Elves and Bog Witch Dominion.

The site of this meeting (if it ever happened) has become a holy land for worshipers of Gorgotha, Succubi, and the Bog Witch alike. Around this land, a "Witch Church '' was built that while small, has grown followers who preach a pan-witch philosophy that says Gorgotha, The Bog Witch, and the Great Maw demon share a common relation. A mix between a syncretic faith and an ongoing ecumenical council earns its legitimacy mostly by the witches not destroying it for apostasy or entertainment. Scimitarian fables build legends of it as a "School of Dark Magic '' and a dark mirror of the Isle of Wizards, but its members spend more time preaching than practicing magic.

The Mutävsky Market or Mutän for short, is the center for Black Market trade in the Northwestern Giantstep, in the same way, the Bog Market is for Central Gianstep. Adventurous Baalp and Hobbits mingle with drug dealers and slave catchers from the south and the dance of gold flesh and blood glorifies Gorogotha and amuses Mutä. The Market has been torn down several times, by reprisal attacks from Witch-Elves, self-destruction at the hands of gangs, or just because Mutä was bored but every time it regrew like a pustule of dark capitalism.

More Red Lotus stuff.

>Geography and the defense of the island

The Red Lotus knows it has little to no support from the outside world, and that many nations would gladly collaborate to take down the cult. This need to defend themselves clashes considerably with the geography of Riririn Island. Riririn is a relative small island, formed out of volcanic activity eons ago. However, its current morphology gives little to no natural advantage to the defenders. The island is covered with lush forests and green prairies, covering extensive portions of the center of Riririn. The geography of the island shines for its smooth hills and low altitude, with the few mountain peaks of the island being relatively small and located in the center of Riririn. Pearl white sand beaches and palm trees, many of them extending for kilometers, cover most of the coast, making for a very idyllic scenery, but not for easily defendable landscapes. The few rivers on the island are seasonal, and mostly stay during the rainiest periods of the year. In sum, other than the continuous storms, typhoons and strong currents surrounding Riririn, the island has no effective natural defenses the Red Lotus could exploit in case of an invasion.
>>
>>85717102
Knowing this, the kejinmushis have established that the island should become a mighty fortress, whether the landscape helps or not. The first of the great projects was to increase the population by any means necessary. After the voyage to Riririn and the conquest of the island, the Red Lotus’ members were barely above 40.000 individuals, nothing that could really stand up to any invasion. Thus, they decreed that every family must have as many children as possible, as fast as possible and as soon as possible. Women are expected to marry as soon as possible, and if a woman is not married by the age of 20, the Red Lotus will choose a partner for her. Families are expected to have at least four children by the 6th year of marriage, and failure to accomplish that is considered a huge shame. The Cult separates the children once they are old enough to not depend on their mothers, and from there they are educated in the worship of Dihong Xinjianng, the "Great and Holy Celestial Father of All" and the kejinmushis. This is done in massive institutions at the hands of Cinyan, who monitor the children while they are put to work in either agriculture, crafts, construction or the exploration of the now abandoned dwarven and drow holds.
>>
>>85717110
The more rebellious, open minded or those deemed as a risk for the Red Lotus are quietly disposed of, whereas the ones with the biggest potential are set aside to be trained to become fellow Cinyan or even be adopted by the kejinmushis themselves. Once the children become adults, they are given a home somewhere far from their place of origin, with many of them never seeing their parents again after they are separated from them. Another way the Red Lotus has to increase the population is through pirate raids. The Heavenly Navy frequently participates in piratic activities in the Sunset Ocean, attacking any civilian vessel they can find, as well as unprotected coastal towns. This not only has economic objectives, but also to take as many women and children as possible. Once they are captured, they are given to the Cinyan, who then will use unknown methods to indoctrinate them into the faith of the "Great and Holy Celestial Father of All". All of these measures have increased the population exponentially, which has resulted in food production problems and famines. This has also increased the kejinmushis’ grasp over the population, since after just a couple of decades, most of the population only knew a world where the Red Lotus and "Great and Holy Celestial Father of All" rules without alternative or opposition, making any other option not only impossible to accept, but even impossible to imagine.
>>
>>85717120
The other great project to defend the island is the creation of a massive series of fortifications throughout Riririn. Following a similar structure that the Changrilese Northeastern Wall against the witchelven, the Red Lotus has established a series of walls bordering the entire island, with many fortresses protecting the main roads to the inner regions. Adding to that, the Red Lotus has ordered the construction of the Heavenly Fortress, a massive structure designed to make the center of the island impenetrable, while also providing with enough arable land on the inside to be self-sufficient. The construction employs tens of thousands of laborers, many of them children, and the amount of resources needed to complete it is apparently draining the mineral reserves of the city dry. It is unknown whether the construction of the colossal structure is finished or not, due to the sheer ambition of the project (though many believe this is also part of the point, since it keeps the population busy and with the idea of an external attack always in mind). At the center lies the Heavenly City, the only proper city on the island and by far the biggest population center. It is a city of labyrinthine streets, as narrow as possible to help the defenders defend it the worst-case scenario. The old dwarven and drow towns and holds have been abandoned, and now are only use as a source of materials to exploit. The coastal cities are the only populations that could be considered cities outside of the Heavenly City, and that’s due to the importance of the Heavenly Navy to the Red Lotus’ society.

Ok, so about the timeline. We still need to settle this stuff, so I'd appreciate some feedback. From what I've read, we have two options.

>BoE was at the zenith of Azanese power, and afterwards it goes down.
This would leave the timeline like here >>85686351.

>BoE was before the zenith of Azanese power, allowing it to rule undisputed for a couple of centuries.
This would leave the timeline as in pic related, and would necessitate to cut a chunk of timeline (the empty period in ABE).

I still prefer the first one, but I'd like to hear your feedback about this. Also, we ought to settle this soon, adding dates is going to become more and more difficult as more lore is written.

Ok here's the revamped history of Furlaniya. I didn't retcon too much, just enough to make the pieces fit.

The region known as Furlaniya has long been inhabited by small, quarrelsome ethnic groups constantly vying for local supremacy.

>The Long Past

Though all information about them is long lost, we know that the region of Furlaniya has been inhabited by humans since before the rise of the old dragon empires. Ancient ossuaries like the Meret di Tombe site tell us of the Ossocavians - the oldest inhabitants of these lands - who had not yet mastered agriculture were already burying their dead in complex underground catacombs. These catacombs were built in repurposed dried up karstic caves, some of which can be accessed to this day to witness the bones and cave paintings of the oldest men. Other abandoned sites like the Birna Tombs, the Breg Statue of the Old God or the Tower Ruins of Mount Fuerna are the only remains of later strange civilisations that predate the Azanese conquest and the beginning of known history. Many rumours abound around these semi-sacred places involving curses and enchanted artefacts which seems to attract an endless stream of adventurers, looters and antiquarians.
>>
>The Azanese Dominion

The exact date and means of the integration of what was then known as Varadaia into the Azanese Empire are lost to history. However most sources agree that Furlaniya was never outright conquered, but rather that its local rulers, called the Varadai, willingly became vassals of the empire sometimes between the 1st and 3rd dynasty. Specially pious chroniclers often argue that the Varadai were companions to St. Aza themselves though this is disputed by contemporary sources. There are also many tales of the 1st dynasty settling Qaddashian refugees in the region and granting the surviving noble families of the Bronze City titles and lands in the region, though the exact precision and veracity of these records remains a hotly debated topic to this day.

Due to its status as disparate vassal princedoms and the scarcity of resources and people in the region, Varadaia was never properly integrated into the Azan administrative system. The region very quickly became considered to be one of the so-called internal frontiers of the empire. Outside the major trade routes the region remained a collection of isolated settlements ruled by insular noble families that often engaged in generational blood feuds which did nothing but foster additional brigandage in an already underdeveloped region. Many emperors sought to fix this sad state of affairs but none were ready to expend much resources on what was already considered "conquered territory" which meant that even when administrative reforms were introduced such as during the introduction of a Varadaian Exarch to replace the odd dozen of vassals during the 6th dynasty, the reforms remained nothing more than formalities, barely applying in the then exarchial capital of Vidannos and its hinterlands.
>>
The Migrations

All of this meant that region became a perfect dumping ground for the problems of the empire, where any rebelling peoples could be relocated. The first to arrive to the region in this way were the Furlans, a people of chariot riders from the north who were displaced into the region to put an end to their constant rioting. The Furlans would over centuries interbreed with the older Vitellians, the distant descendants of the Varadai, to such a degree their cultures are now inseparably linked.

Primorscans however came later, as a result of the Witchelven Wars. Primorscans and Daligradians used to be part of a much larger common people that used to live around the Bone lakes. Sometime between the 7th and 10th Azan dynasties they were driven out of their homeland by the expansion of the Witchelves and forced to migrate to the southwest. Already preoccupied with several wars and rebellions, the massive wave of refugees destabilised the Azan Empire further until one of the Southern Emperors had the bright idea to resettle them in various backwards and/or depopulated provinces of the empire. The backwood hills of Furlaniya were one such chosen location and most of the Primorscans were moved there with the promises of land and peace. Due to their large numbers and preference for the sedentary farmer lifestyle, Primorscan culture has endured to this day and become effectively autochthonous to the region.

The Golden Age of the 7th Dynasty

Because of institutional neglect and the steady trickle of foreign settlers into the region, by the time of the ascension of the 7th Azanese dynasty the interior of Furlaniya was essentially lost territory ruled by petty clan chiefs which only barely held on to the most basic precepts of the Old Azan Faith. This gravely alarmed the archprelates of Narses who petitioned the imperial court to do something to tame the interior wildlands. The 7th dynasty, the so-called "Southern Emperors", themselves hailed from the southern provinces and not from the northerly Imperial Core like their predecessors and thus decided to take this problem more seriously and embarked to civilize Furlaniya once and for all. Under the leadership of emperor Azannos XI. and the archprelate Phellon II. of Narses a massive infrastructure and missionary mission was undertaken in the province. Roads were renovated and expanded, temples were built in every village and agricultural lands were consolidated and organised on the Azanese "well" system.

Varadaia never became a prosperous province, but its integration into the empire was much improved and for the first time Furlaniyans became embedded into trade routes and the larger economy of the empire, acquiring their well-known wanderlust that characterises them today. Another side effect of this are the peculiar religious practices and traditions of the region. The missionaries of the time fused together the ancient rituals of the Furlaniyans along with the highly complex rituals of the 7th dynasty, the so called "Aynur Doctrine" resulting in a particular local strain of the Azan faith that emphasizes commonality, fire worship, local saints and complex ritual. While highly ritualized, the Aynur Doctrine is notable for its radical equality in conception - everyone from the lowest serf to the Emperor himself attend the same services with the same chants and mysteries.
>>

3.5 MB
3.5 MB JPG
This stands in contrast to the Old Faith of the Imperial Court also called the "Northern Conciliates" which divides the faithful into strict hierarchical tiers depending on their stations in life. While the Aynur Doctrine never came into wide acceptance and later dynasties reverted to Northern Conciliates, it proved an important intellectual stepping stone for the Azan Faith reformation a few centuries later. So while the Azan reformation did reach the province it was never as fully embraced as in the regions that followed the northern strictures and Furlaniya follows its own strand of the Azanese Faith to this day.

Despite this relative isolation from the Azanese imperial standards, the region didn’t separate until 5 centuries ago, long after the internal conflicts and religious reformations that caused many other parts of the Empire to secede. This was not from a lack of trying though, as there were many revolts during the history of the Azan/Dragon Empire, but they inevitably failed as the other ethnic groups sided against the ones revolting such as the infamous Great Primorscan Uprising during the 9th dynasty which ended in massive pogroms of the Primorscan population.

>The Furlaniyan Little Dark Ages

However, by the Tenth Dynasty Period, the Azan Empire had largely lost interest in subjecting other ethnic groups. By that time Furlaniya had become a quagmire and drain on the imperial coffers as the rising Nasr Satrapies repeatedly attempted to conquer the region, eventually succeeding and occupying most of the ports in the region under the brilliant leadership of the Calyxian Satrap Kayrid the Lame. In addition to the Nasr threat there were many local rebellions as the region saw its tax burden increased by the need to upkeep the many imperial legions stationed in the region.

In ecumenical matters there was also a strong feeling among followers of the New Azan Faith that empire building for the sake of empire building was contrary to Bronzar’s will that his followers focus on defeating true evil, rather than petty politics and subjugating unwilling subjects.

So when the petty Furlan king Lanzio of Glemone managed to unify much of the Azanese controlled region and launch a rebellion, Azan made an only half-hearted attempt to suppress it, and (eventually) recognized the area as a separate nation once things settled down.

The Nasr still controlled a large portion of southern Furlaniya around but were driven out by Lanzio of Glemone during dark age immediately following the abandonment of Furlaniya by the Azanese in what came to be called The 5 Great Sieges. This legendary king was of course assassinated by one of his rivals shortly after his victory over Harrid of Primor, the last Satrap of Furlaniya. This led to a few centuries of hatred and open resentment between the two peoples. Open aggression is much rare nowadays and the coastal outposts of the Nasr have long become part of the accepted status quo in the region. Their presence is even seen as a vital deniable asset by some factions that regularly employ the corsairs to raid the shipping of their rivals.

Needless to say, Lanzio's state didn’t last long after his assassination and the new nation started to break up barely 2 months after his death as the 4 claimants to the throne of Furlaniya started fighting among themselves. Without an external enemy, the situation did nothing but worsen and for the next hundred years Furlaniya was plunged into a regional dark age until most cities were burned to the ground every village contained at least half a dozen pretenders to the kingdom's throne. Very little written records exist from this time and chroniclers are forced to infer the goings-on in the region from the writings of the Azanese and Changrilese, both of which saw the region as nothing but one giant pile of barbarians, which does not facilitate comprehension. Some say the libraries of Farok still contain the personal letters and journals of Harrid of Primor which would be an invaluable source for an understanding of the period, but alas no one but the court magi of the Calyx court are allowed to peruse the library, leaving many amateur chroniclers in Furlaniya frustrated.

>The Golden Age of the Gurize Republic

The dark age of the Furlaniyan petty kings was brought to an end by the Golden Age of the Republic of Gurize, a time during which the city of Gurize managed to consolidate its power over much of the region and subject it to its peculiar form of government involving senates, consuls and city freedoms. It's because of this period that republicanism as a form of government is much more present in Furlaniya than any of its immediate neighbours. It is also during this time that dwarven clans started to come to the region from the Northern Oront mountains in larger numbers adding new blood to the old clans that immigrated millennia prior during the 7th dynasty. To this day the dwarves of Furlaniya divide themselves between "old" and "new" clans in typical dwarven fashion.

This golden age was brought to an end by a coalition of rebellious cities led by Manzan that decisively defeated the Gurizans and sacked the old city. As Furlaniya was free from any outside threats during this time, the region fragmented into increasingly smaller polities slowly developing into the geopolitical mess that is the region today. Meanwhile the traditions of Gurizian republicanism would continue to evolve. In the east it would merge with the old village council practices of the Primorscans to become the Veches - councils of elders which represent families and settlements. In the west the old petty aristocracy now assembles in what are known as the Cortes - general councils of the lands nobility the hereditary rulers must contend with when making their every move.

>The Age of Expansion or the Four Colonial Decades

The Accords of Liussul were a series of treaties in the last century that were concluded between most of the major city-states. To avoid endless petty warfare over existing lands they provided a legal mechanism by which the injured party could instead claim monetary compensation to be used in (re)colonising the north and east, which were by this time almost devoid of human settlements. The system proved exceptionally effective and in the span of 100 years, many successful settlements were established in Troll Wastes and the Golden Hills. Probably the most successful example is the Timavo Province, an area colonised by Gurizians that has been so thoroughly integrated it is now considered a core part of their territory.

>Present Century

Currently the main threats to the region are Changrila’s increasing assertiveness in the Golden Hills region, the ever expanding Gomorrah Breach, and the long present trolls.

Mendatabya Arbata (North Automata: መንደቕ ጣብያ ሓሙሽተ, Wallsite Four), is a vertical fortress city and Function Hub on the Great Wall of the Automaton Republic. It is located at the junction of the wall’s three wings, bordering the Cursed Battlefield to the West and the Pestaran Waste to the East. Mendatabya Arbata is a key choke point in the region that is central to the operations of the Wall Function. Mendatabya Arbata was once the Capital of the Life Function Regime before integrating into the Republic at the end of Great Communication Five.

>History
The site of Mendatabya Arbata was home to active automatons from at least the third century ABE. Evidence shows early cluster communes using it as a defense point against terror when incursions into the then lush forests of Sylva Orcinus.
By the 7th Century ABE, it had developed into a key fortress against aggression from Baba Pestara. The Golem’s naturally resistant to rot was enough to hold off most encroachments but the leadership of the Fortress during this period was strictly pro-Functionalist and so wouldn't leave their “posts on the battlefield” to counter-attack.
The fortress eventually became part of the wider Life Function Regime, becoming its capital by the 12th Century ABE.
It would be incorporated into the Northern Wing of the Terracotta Wall by the 20th Century ABE.
After Great Communication Five, it was designated Wallsite Four under the Republican System and was made the centerpiece of a project to connect the Northern and Western Wings of the Great Terracotta Wall. It became the starting point for the Eastern Wing of the Wall in 2516 ABE.
During the Second Bog War, it was the site of The Battle of Mendatabya Arbata, in which The War Function allied with The Last Quing of the Giants to escort refugees from Baba Vegna’s realm.

It's been a while since I wrote something for the Orange Marquisates. Let's see if I can complete their lore a bit more.

>Economy
The economy of the Orange Marquisates depends on the type or marquisate, but all of them share one common element: the production of high quality citrus. The land of the Orange Marquisates produces dozens of different kinds of citrus highly appreciated in the diets of many lands in the region. The marquisate’s citrus are also a fundamental part for sailors, since citrus are highly effective against scurvy. Many powers buy citrus in bulk to distribute to their navy and their trading fleets, thus protecting the health of their sailors during long voyages. As such, the Orange Marquisates are a mandatory stop for all ships that want to trade from northern to eastern Giantstep. The region’s citrus plants are very resistant to colder weathers, something that has allowed them to prosper even during winter, having a substantial harvest multiple times a year all year long. The value of citrus production drives a lot of the fighting between the marquisates. Both the healthy noble marquisates and the merchant cities will spend a lot of time and effort to try to obtain more influence within the sick noble houses to get access to their citrus production.
>>
>>85740955
Another product that is also greatly profitable for the region is wine. The Orange Marquisates produce many different types of wine, the most famous of all being a rosé wine made by combining fermented grapes and oranges, giving it a tinge of extra sweetness. However, unlike the region’s citrus, the local grapes are not particularly resistant to winter, and as such, most of the production focuses during the summer, and the vines need a lot of care and attention to not die during the months of winter. Many marquisates have also develop a competent artisanal glass industry, to bottle up the best wines and sell them in more careful selections, instead of in just wine barrels.

The noble marquisates, both from healthy and sick houses, have the bulk of their profits from agriculture and farming, but there’s an increasing amount of interest in developing crafts, usually parallel to the region’s main activities. This kind of economy has evolved quite a lot in the merchant cities, where artisan guilds have gained a lot of influence due to the increasingly more profitable sales of their products. Their economic growth is frequently slowed down by the guild’s competitions with each other, as well as with other merchant marquisates. This can reach extremes of sabotage and murder, though local authorities try to stop the biggest displays of violence.
>>
>>85740962
The marquisates influenced by Faarowt’s druids have a very different economy. Due to their ties with the druids and their different ways of life, they dedicate a considerable portion of their arable land to cultivate many of the herbs and other plants the druids need for their rituals. This isn’t to say they don’t cultivate citrus just like the other marquisates, but they prefer to focus on their own crops. They have also dedicated a ton of efforts in developing apiculture, with honey production being the region’s best-regarded product. The druids’ knowledge about nature is used to cooperative with the bees in a way it is safe to collect the honey, allowing these marquisates to produce a lot more honey that could be feasible at first glance. The druid-influenced marquisates also prefer trading through land routes instead of using sea routes, to avoid friction with the rest of the marquisates.

The Third War of Heaven and Earth was fought mostly with deepsea Hyenas, as most True Gnolls were fighting with The Alliance of the Maw at the time.

This allowed the Dragongod the wage a rae counter-attack, flying down the chains and attacking Khoraqualex (The Wet City) the Old Kheneormeirc port that had been the launching site for attacks on The Dragongod since the First War of Heaven and Earth.

The Damage to the city was so great it was unsuitable even for Gnolls, The Dragongod turned back only when they grew so exhausted from the killing they risked collapsing on the ground.

The loss of Khoraqualex eventually led the Empire to shift to ariel attacks on the Dragongods' fortress-prison in Fehrum Edzulair. Climaxing in the Fourth and Final War of Heaven and Earth and a Gnoll victory.

The birth of the Ögchuk fiefdoms:

Exactly how the people who would become the Ögchuk arrived in the peninsula is not exactly certain. What is known is that they supposedly came from outside the Empire of Azan, either from the lands of the Gökmavi, Urgun or the Kinga Badlands. The two main theories is that they arrived in search of better fortune after war or famine in their original homeland, or that they were brought in as hired mercenaries by the imperial armies. Either way, it is known that they were given permission to settle in the peninsula by imperial decree, it being a peripheral and underdeveloped part of the empire, except for small settlements in the north, and a trading city in the area of what is now Vakögchuk. In imperialwritings of the time the people settling here are called "Gocanvi" though if this is close to what they called themselves or not is uncertain. Their is also uncertainty on whether steeds, the Garls, came from their homelands or are native to the area, though as there are no records such creatures from any other area, they are most likely local, or have died out wherever they came from.

By the time of the Azanese civil war, the Ögchuk as a class of people in the area had developed, with the local culture and religion being far removed from the one in the Azanese heartland. The Ögchuk agreed with the eastern provinces on the state of the empire, and many Ögchuk warriors joined the war on the Changrilan side, along with tribesman warriors composing of the local people, now a mix of the original inhabitants of the area and non-Ögchuk Gocanvi. Participation from the Ögchuk was however half-hearted, and many stayed behind, or returned home when they were denied the quick victory that the would-be eastern emperor promised. There are however stories of Ögchuks believing in the cause, such as the legend of Mamūr, who after losing his Garl in battle impaled an Azanese general, and then himself.

>Prompt:Golems fighting witches in a swamp

Pictured is a scene from 15th Gatherer Builder Unit 4's raid into the Dominion of the Bog Witch

15 was a golem of the Build Function who communed the idea that the surrounding races and species were assets to be acquired in service to the Primal Purpose.

Such ideas had been communed before, but this was the first time the level of technology had developed to the point where the idea was deemed feasible.

It was judged from past information that several inhabitants of the Bog Witch's Domain only served the witches by force and that by liberating them, the Build Function could have more assets.

Results were mixed. Early steam-powered technology proved to be useful offensively, but the mucky terrain interfered with the mechanical nature of the automatons, while various curses interfered with their magical nature. The population of "assets" to be liberated was also far lower than what was estimated.

It was concluded that more resources would be consumed modifying War Functions for the swamps than would be gained from the raid, so the raid was ceased.

Despite its failure, the Legacy of 15th's raid would reverberate through regional politics. Losses taken during the raid were a contributor to the Dominion of the Bog Witch seeking peace in Witch War Three.

15th's model of asset acquisition would lead to growing period of interventionism in the Republic, Climaxing with their contributions to the Ill-Fated Trocish Commonwealth.

The end of the civil war made the Ögchuk a legal part of the Changrilan emperors domain, yet part of the treaty describing the area around Vakögchuk seemed to describe it as an independent vassal. This ambiguity of the area would continue for a while, the Ögchuk clans paying tribute to the emperor and sometimes sending trivial amounts of auxiliary forces.

300 years after the independence of Changrila the fiefdoms had gone from "nominal part of the empire" to "nominal tributary." The northern fiefdoms and clans still paid tribute, but only after getting defeated trying to trade the empire, or if they wanted imperial favour to be able to trade or marry into local nobility. The ethnicity of the people living in the peninsula had now solidified, and would be called Ögcan. Whether the Ögchuk at this point were considered Ögcan as well, or as a separate ethnicity at this point is unclear, but as the Ögchuk clans would have many minor sons and daughters not able to become one, and as Ögcans rich or lucky enough to get access to Garls would be considered Ögchuk, the culture would quickly homogenize.

With the creation of the faith of the divine light, Changrila looked to their old domains yet again, and sent masses of missionaries to try to convert the Ögchuks and make them return back to the fold of the empire. The reception was lukewarm. Few did convert, and while some did accept the divinity of the emperor, most merely added him to their pantheon of ancestor-spirits and gods. The missions continued, yet, little was achieved. When a preacher insulted the ancestor of an important warlord and promptly was executed, Changrila saw the opportunity to take care of the matter more directly. The emperor sent an army, lead by general Luang Xien to vanquish the Ögchuk and reincorporate it into the empire. The first part of the campaign was a success, capturing the northern part of the peninsula. The Ögchuk had little means of organizing a resistance, being divided without any central authority to lead. Othmeg The Lord of Ükmen, receiving news from escaped clansmen from the north of the Changrilan attack, sent messages to the different clans, calling on all to meet at Vakögchuk. There, after 3 months of negotiations, the council of 23 was formed, and its first act was declaring Othmeg the first Lord of Flags, having him lead a united army against the Changrilans. A year later, the army would begin the counterattack against the empire. The battle of the Golden Fields was the turning point of the war, with masses of Ögchuk swarming over the Changrilan army, while Ögcak footmen held their ground pelting them with slings. Luang Xien, having lost a fifth of his force, were forced to flee, and this days is by many considered the establishment of an Ögchuk nation.

It would take a further year to drive the Changrilans back to their home, and things turned back to normal. Othmeg stepped down, and old rivalries flared up again. More attempts to subjugate the peninsula came, and for periods the northern fiefdoms would even be occupied or vandalized by the Changrilans. This was never permanent however, and imperial policy would become to let things stay as a status quo: Accept tribute, accept gifts, and dont bother the clans unless they raid too far north. The eastern border was more volatile, with frequent local disputes between local Dsrvyth lords and northern Ögchuk warriors and knights.

>Prompt:A post apocalyptic steam powered city with terracotta buildings.
Mäbäl 'Däna (North Automata:መበል ዕደና, The 10th Mining) is the current largest city by population in the Automaton Republic. Located in the Eastern Clayfields, the Build Function has long used runoff from the Load River to forge the clay required for the painstaking and slow process of building and repairing automatons.

Due to access to watermills, it also became an early adopter of steampower, leading to its boom as the largest production hub in the republic. (13 units produced per quarter)

Smoke runoff from its stacks has contributed to pollution in the Bog Witch's Domain, though the current Model considered this of little interest given how toxic the swampland are already. (And given the relative isolationism of the current Ruling Model, it is doubtful they care.)

There have been reports of animals and people of the western domain mutating as a result of inhaling smoke filled with magically radiated clay or eating animals that had done so.

>History:

It is said that ages ago, the Dem Helidden Peninsula was colonized by folk from Ellesis (now Anchovia), though those times are now largely forgotten. Most ancient ruins in the area are instead from the ancient kingdom of Leng, one of five kingdoms that made up the Merfolk Empire.

Like in other regions once controlled by Leng, the Lengi built massive maze-like forts and cities, which are now in ruins or built over by the ramshackle ratfolk communities. Around 1500 years ago, the Leng were cursed by their god to become insane, perpetually restless ratfolk, a parody of their formerly industrious kingdom. For unknown reasons, most of these ratfolk migrated to the Dem Helidden Peninsula, where they have spent the last millennia and a half building up and tearing down all sorts of construction projects, ranging from the bizarre to the actively insane. Past projects have included trying to make an artificial mountain, build a massive trench to cut off the peninsula from the mainland, build the world’s largest floating platform, allow themselves to be farmed by the Jooish cat people for meat, and build an entire city from goat cheese.

Most of these projects are abandoned after a few years, but some last for decades. Even the few successful projects rarely last long though due to shoddy workmanship. The population of ratfolk has fluctuated greatly over the centuries, as they have a high breeding rate, but they often die in droves when either their population gets too high, or their agricultural system gets partially dismantled to support this or that insane project.

The second most recent project (produce as much cheese as possible) allowed the population to recover from its previous depletion, but the latest project (produce “cheese” via various industrial processes) has caused the population to grow even further, despite the hardships.

>Government:

The government is theoretically a monarchy (the ratking), but this position is purely ceremonial. Instead, power rests with an oligarchy of sorts (the ratstag) made up of individuals who own the most cheese, some of whom are borderline sane.

>Economy:

The Luden economy currently revolves around the creation of “cheese”. In their insanity, the ratfolk have nearly forgotten what cheese actually is, create it out of nearly anything, and use it as a currency nearly as often as they actually eat it.

The oligarchs compete to produce the largest amounts of cheese by volume, but also the most unusual tasting cheeses, as these can end up being judged by the Ratstag as being worth several times as much by weight as lesser cheeses. Cheese is made from a wide range of substances. As most of the lifestock has died off, milk is supplemented by “sea milk” a mucous like substance produced when sea life dies off and rots on the beaches of Luden. Milk and sea milk is broiled in large vats, and sometimes mixed with foreign narcotics for extra “taste”.

Aside from cheese, the ratfolk engage in a number of other industries that seem deliberately meant to befoul their environment. The peninsula has vast reserves of oil and gas, most of which is deliberately dumped in the oceans (along with acids and raw Arcanium) to kill more sea life to make more sea milk. Coal is also burned at low heat in large quantities to produce a dark smog over much of the peninsula to block out the hated sun.

Other more semi-productive industries include large foundries making low grade iron, lumber mills and quarries to produce construction materials, lantern factories that use shards of (dangerous) Arcanium to produce light, textile factories to produce cloth, and a few factories owned by foreigners that take advantage of the dirt cheap labor, and don’t mind the subpar quality of the product.
>>
>>85752226

The ratfolk are noted for their “factories”, large warehouse like buildings where many ratfolk work on just one step of a particular manufacturing process, and also make use of labor saving devices. The system is far from perfect though, as many ratfolk follow steps which are unnecessary or even counter productive, given their insane nature. However, a few foreigners have seen a certain method to their madness, and have tried to implement similar systems in other regions, with mixed results.

>Foreign Relations:

Just about everyone considers the inhabitants of Luden to be insane, but a few are willing to trade the dirt cheap trade goods the ratfolk produce for narcotics and trinkets. Oil and coal are two other important exports. There are a few ratfolk manned trade ships, but they mostly rely on others to move goods.

Seagard, Kingdom of Silver, Princedom of Platinum – These nations buy oil and coal from Luden with silver, sometimes (particularly for Seagard) for export elsewhere at much higher prices.

Faarowt, Avangar, and Anchovia – Luden uses silver, coal, and oil to buy narcotics to mix into their cheese, and sometimes also buy coal from Avangar (for prices higher than they sell their own coal).

Kunt – Pirates from Kunt occasionally raid Luden for the stockpiles of oil, coal, and narcotics often found in the harbor districts of Luden.
>>
>>85752253

Anchovia and Elanxa – Particularly unethical merchants from these nations sometimes set up factories in Luden to take advantage of the dirt cheap labor, cutting deals with the oligarchs who own those territories. They also send fishermen to dredge the waters around Luden, as surprisingly the toxins in the water seem to greatly increase the amount of marine life in these waters, though such seafood is also toxic, and often sold under false circumstances, except in Anchovia where people will eat anything anyways. A third reason they visit these waters is to collect salvage from the Great Floating Garbage Patch. Said by some to be some sort of trans-dimensional garbage chute, interesting materials can be found floating here, though far more is believed to be sitting on the ocean floor.

>Geography:

Luden is often referred to as one massive city, but in fact, much of it remains underdeveloped, and many of the areas that are urbanized, are old Lengi ruins, or more recent ratfolk ruins, or a mix of both as the ratfolk often build their ramshackle cities over the ruins of old Lengi structures.

The land is barren in many places, befouled by past obsessions of the ratfolk, or deliberate pollution.

Politically the region is divided into four buroughs, though Luden proper is the main center of power.

>Demographics:

Ratfolk – Are the main inhabitants. Descendants of the cursed inhabitants of Ancient Leng, they have a hunched, rat-like appearance that can vary greatly due to both their cursed heritage and Arcanium related mutations.

Besshiru – Like their cousins in other regions once controlled by the Kingdom of Leng, the Besshiru are the cursed elite of the ancient Lengi, fated to watch their domains fall into ruin and squalor. Like Besshiru in other regions, they seem to be able to be mostly content to guard their ancient secrets, but a few have gone insane and formed the elite of what passes for ratfolk civilization in Luden.
>>
>>85752263

Vampire Ratfolk – Due to the complete disregard that ratfolk have for each other, vampirism does particularly well here.

Squid-Folk – The squid-folk have a strange kinship with the ratfolk, perhaps recognizing they are both descendants of the cursed remnants of the Merfolk Empire. That kinship doesn’t really count for much though, particularly out in the open ocean.

Gnolls – Some gnolls have migrated to Luden in recent times for unknown reasons. Perhaps because the ratfolk are one of the few who tolerate them, or perhaps because they don’t seem to notice when the odd ratfolk gets turned into a snack.

>Religion:

If the ratfolk have a religion, no one has figured it out. They work 20+ hours a day, poison themselves with partially fermented grog and narcotics laced “cheese”, rut, maybe sleep, then start the process over again the next morning.

>Military:

Luden doesn’t have any real military to speak off. The oligarchs rely on big, somewhat sane ratfolk (and sometimes gnolls) to enforce their will on the commoner slaves, but can’t be bothered to train a professional army. When raided by foreigners, some ratfolk will be suicidally aggressive in driving out the attackers, others will keep working no matter what the danger is, while others will simply flee, it seems to depend on the nature of each individual ratfolk’s insanity.

Luden’s main defence is that it has little worth stealing or conquering, except sometimes the harbors when there are enough goods stored at them.

More Orange Marquisates stuff.

>Government
The Orange Marquisates long ago abandoned the pretense of maintaining the image a singular, unified nation. However, many marquisates desire to restore the old Orange Kingdom (with themselves as rulers, of course). The War of Burnt Incense left very clear that in a military conflict, both the healthy noble houses and the merchant city marquisates would be evenly match, and that it would only cause upheaval and unrest within the peasants. As such, the war for domination between the marquisates has to go on either in the shadows or through the sick noble marquisates. Not to mention all of them want to isolate the druid influenced marquisates as much as possible, so that their ideas do not spread throughout the peasantry. Because of this, there are very few legal and governmental ties between the marquisates.
>>
>>85753626
The inner government of each marquisate depends on their rulers. Marquisates ruled by healthy noble houses tent to follow a very traditional structure, with the head marques at his family having the most power in the land, followed by those knights and vassals that have sworn loyalty to the noble house. They are the ones who rule and protect the land and its inhabitants, and the ones who collect taxes. They control the cities in their lands with an iron fist, least they rebel like in those marquisates controlled by the merchant cities. The rites of vassalage are of extreme importance here, and law in these areas take the bonds between lord and vassal very seriously. Breaking one’s word can mean exile or death, and this not only applies to the knights and nobles, but to the peasantry as well. The personal army of the healthy noble houses is the first and foremost tool to keep order and law within their lands, and the healthy nobles invest great sums in the arming and training of their armies.
>>
>>85753635
The merchant city marquisates rule by different means. These marquisates kept their noble houses as mere figureheads, and many even stopped having a ruling house altogether. Instead, the power comes from the cities’ influence over the land. The more successful a city is with trade and business, the more control they’ll be able to exert within the marquisate. The cities themselves are ruled by powerful merchant families and guilds, who will simulate an image of cooperation and collaboration to the outside, but in reality they are meshed deeply in fights for control of the economy and trade. The growing merchant cities are always filled with conspiracies, betrayal and murder, and only the threat that the healthy noble houses pose keep them from an internal all-out war with each other. The rule of law in the cities depends on which family rules, with things such as police and tribunals being under the payroll of whoever gets to rule at the time. The merchant families and guilds hire many mercenaries not only to fight each other, but also to keep control of the countryside. Many lesser nobles were able to keep their fiefdoms if they swore loyalty to the merchant houses, keeping a veneer of historical continuity, and it’s also cheaper than directly controlling the land from the cities.
>>
>>85753642
The druid-influenced marquisates have a very different system of governance. The population has spread throughout the territories, leaving cities very underpopulated, preferring to live in harmony with nature. This, and the fall of the noble houses that used to rule here, meant that they have adopted a much more localized power structure. Rural towns rule themselves independently, organizing the needed works in a collective way. The towns are led by their elders, many of which have spent decades travelling the path of enlightenment. The decisions for the marquisate are decided by a council of elders done every year, in which they discuss both politics, economics and their progress towards enlightenment.

>>
The Bravoes of Gildolph are a brotherhood of swordsmen based around Gildorph, a run down district in the outskirts of Hithlone. These Bravoes are not like the ones usually found in the city, wearing their flamboyant hats and displaying their swordsmanship and courting skills whenever they can.

Gildorph is full of orchards, gardens and scattered hovels and shanty towns. It's the favourite place of ruffians and smugglers. Unlike your typical gang, which smuggles narcotics and has connections with the city watch, the Bravoes' main goal was primarily to demonstrate solidarity towards the whole, the neighborhood, defending the weak and protecting them from cutthroats, troublemakers and other thugs. This is the one and only quality of the Bravo, that is, the practical ideologue of dignity and altruism.

Nowadays, Bravo is a synonym of pride, dignity and bravery, although it's misused by other criminals, who proclaim themselves as "Bravoes" in order to justify their actions.

The Bravoes can usually be found in the cabarets, brothels and taverns of Gildorph, playing cards and engaging themselves with the other locals. As they are usually in conflict with other gangs of Hithlone, it's not unusual for many Bravoes to end up dead in the canals or in prisons.

The Bravoes developed their own street argo inside the Hithlonean prisons, combining many elements of the languages of Hithlone, the Three Sisters, Moreelse, Azan and the Drow. This creole is used by the Bravoes that wander around the docks and the streets of Hithlone, so they cannot be understood by the city watch or any of their enemies.

A creature for the bestiary.

>Matryoshka Cats
The Matryoshka Cat is a species of feline native of Zemyland. At first glance, it is near indistinguishable from regular cats from the rest of the world, outside of its slightly bigger and stronger build than the common domestic cats. However, when presented with a big enough threat it cannot run away from, they will begin to produce small copies of itself, puking them and attacking whatever it considers a threat. The older a Matryoshka cat is, the more copies can produce, and the more copies there are around, their behaviour becomes more rabid and violent. It has been documented that, in the wild, a dozen or so Matryoshka cats can join together to spawn dozens of these critters, capable of fending off monsters many times their size. Outside of that, Matryoshka cats seem to behave just as any domestic cat would, and they are commonly seen in houses of older people. Families will avoid getting close to the Matryoshka cats, seeing that children might cause the cat to lash off in this way.

Matryoshka cats can also reproduce using this technique, being capable of essentially asexual reproduction, although they will try to mate with other cats the old fashioned way. The asexual reproduction method is rare, however, as these copies have very low chances of survival once spawned, frequently dying after a couple of hours if they don't get immediate support and care.

>I think it would be cool to have a Druidic Crusade somewhere along the timeline
Druids seem to spread their religion, but not in a proactive way, keeping mostly to themselves. I don't think a druidic crusade would make sense. A crusade against druids, however, would be interesting to see...
>>
>>85756008
The Druids led a pretty high-profile intervention in the Orange Marqueses.
>>
>>85756036
True, fair enough. Still, I don't see the druids trying something like a crusade. They helped the peasants after they were asked for help, I don't think they'd proactively launch a crusade to expand their belief. Specially since Faarowt is in a relatively peaceful area.
>>
>>85756108
Maybe its a peaceful crusade? Like the Freedom Rides or the early Christain Ministry?
>>
>>85756173
The most I can see the druid do is something akin to the airport preaching that used to be a thing. Maybe individual druids go around the world trying to preach their faith to connect more with the land and such. The backstory of the Dual Kingdom-Empire of Voita-Malagsh has a druid cursing the kingdom for destroying the forest, and it is quite far from Faarowt.

I was thinking of something like a very basic biological description, and first known settlements and maybe the geographical distribution. Also possibly a religious description, although I imagine many gods are worshiped by different races.
>>
We still need a religious map, as most nations have had their religion fleshed out by now. We don't have to fill in the gaps for nations that haven't had any lore yet.

>We don't have to fill in the gaps for nations that haven't had any lore yet.
On the contrary, better to finish writing the lore of the countries before doing such a map. I'd rather have national maps with things such as religion before a worldwide religion map.

Is the trick making the description as detailed as possible?Every time I try it I feel the program focuses on two things and ignores the rest, and I end up with a mess of a pic.

Which website do you use to generate art? If there's an option of increasing the steps, max them out (I did up to 150). Also, make sure to use the correct style/artist, the latest one I've been using are much better because the style changed

We could also do some broad racial groupings for areas that are fleshed out...

Humans in the northwest are mostly western European
Humans in the central west are mostly Mediterranean
Humans in the southwest are mostly East or Central Asian
South and Central is a bit of a mixed bag
Northeast is mostly Slavic and Scandinavian
Old Merfolk Empire nations are western European
Southeast is another mixed bag

It's been a while since I tweaked the physical map. I corrected a couple of mistakes that kept bugging me.

More stuff for the Orange Marquissates

>Foreign Relations
The Orange Marquissates are a very important point for sea travel and trade in the region, and as such, they have plenty of strong ties with most of the nations in the area. However, due to the inability to unite into a singular power means that the marquisates frequently are in a position of weakness when dealing with bigger powers. Some powers are trying to influence the politics of the marquisates from afar, but for the most part, they are left alone as long as their commercial interests are secured.

The Orange Marquissates have especially strong ties with the Woodcutter Cities, both due to their closeness and due to historical ties. Many areas of the Big Marianne Lake and the Twin Drop Lakes used to belong to the Orange Kingdom back in the day, but the shattering of the old kingdom made those areas develop into independent regions, with only nominal control by some marquises. The Woodcutter Cities also provide the marquisates with high quality wood for their fleets.

Most marquisates have a great distaste for the druids from Faarowt, ranging from disgust to outright hatred and fear. The real threat of an expansion of the druidic ideas throughout the peasant population is an ever present threat, and there have been many rumors of a combined campaign from the healthy noble houses and the merchant cities to expel the druids and their influence from the southern marquisates, though internal strife always keeps those plans at bay.

Outside of their local neighbors, the marquisates have a strong tie to the Platinum Princedom. Seeing as it is the door between the northern and eastern seas, it has an immense ship traffic, though the area’s agriculture is poorer due to the colder climate. As such, the Orange Marquissates are a mandatory resupplying stop for vessels wanting to cross the Platinum Strait, especially for things such as food and basic shipping equipment. The Platinum Princedom’s merchant guilds also buy considerable quantities of citrus to make them available in their cities, though the methods used to preserve the fruits are not perfect, and thus the quality is lower than if they are bought directly from the marquisates.

The marquisates are very distrusting of the Avangar Empire. While far enough to not affect the dealings of the marquisates, the expansionist policies of Avangar means that once the east of Littlestep is fully conquered, Avangar might turn around and try to occupy the Woodcutter Cities and the Green Oak Forest, after which it’s only a matter of time the marquisates are threatened. Some marquisates have even participated in the secret talks that some of the region’s powers have had about taking measures to prevent Elyrian expansion.

The marquisates are also very distrustful of the Kingdom of Drunigzar. While their trade is always profitable, their expansion outside of the eastern seas worries the marquisates’ merchant cities. They have also heard rumors of the drunig developing a technology to grow any kind of plant in any environment. If the rumors are true and that technology spreads, that could completely displace the Orange Marquissates as the foremost provider of citrus and other fruits to the region.

I made a couple of cleaned up maps for the Orange Marquissates as well. I don't know how to call the capital cities of the marquisates, however. If anyone can think of good names, I'd be grateful.

Flag of the Kingdom of Orange before the Fracturing into the Orange Marquissates. It is still often used by the individual marquisates, though they will also bring it alongside their own heraldry and banners.

Anyone managed to produce some good looking flags/banners using SD AI?

I've checked the alchemy page on the wiki, and I'm pretty sure that there was more written abou it. In which thread was it?
>>
Fixed a couple of things of the political map. I think it's as done as it can be.
>>
Gonna try to write some lore on South Belsirya sometime soon. Anyone got any suggestions?
>>

Thread 18 is where the last major discussion on alchemy took place.

One anon wrote a high level overview of alchemy (which is on the wiki), and another anon countered that the overview didn't take into account lore from Tarot/Ouroboria/Scatology/Biblion, etc. Which is fair enough, though some of the claims he makes are unsupported like Tarot inventing alchemy. Also I don't buy the whole Astromancers and Bookimists are just scientists argument, some of the stuff they do is clearly magical.

>>85770698
Aurous Highlands lore has a lot on them, Calcabra lore is probably worth a quick skim too
>>
What is your favourite and least favourite nation?

>Thread 18
Yeah, I'm the anon who wrote the stuff in the wiki. I want to find all the references to alchemy so that I can fit what I wrote with the previous stuff, I missed it the first time.

I know that there's a lot of alchemy references in Ouroboria, Tarot Kingdom, Astromancers, Bookimists, Scatomancers articles. Any other places I should look at before writing?
>>
>>85772197
Aside from the ones you listed, there are minor mentions in the following nations, the first one is probably the strangest
Seguerials
Moreelse
Isle of Wizards
Biblion (there is no Bookimist page)
Crystalids
Arangea
Daligrad
Red Lotus
Florinth

Is this all there is about the Tarot Kingdom?
>>
>>85772949
pretty much

they got a half finished map somewhere, and there are some mentions of them in other nations lore

also some of their lore is on the Ouroboria page, and the tarot anon further fleshed out how he thinks their alchemy works on thread 18, which probably isn't on the wiki anywhere
>>
>>85773061
If this is all there is, then where does the "alchemy comes from Tarot" stuff come from?
>>
>>85773129
like I said here>>85770862, there is some stuff he said back on thread 18 that doesn't seem to be supported

I like Gnoll Empire best it has such a unique feel.

What I like least... The alien cowboys
>>
>>85773902
On the Gnoll page in the short story introduction. It's an in-setting source though so might be untrue and just something the Astromancers claim.

On the other hand they live in a flying castle chained to the ground... Which is very similar to the Dragongod Mausoleum.

Sus I say
>>
>>85773933
>Essential information about Astromancy hidden in the Gnoll Empire page
>Actual Astromancers page is almost empty

Goddammit, we need to order the articles of the wiki. There's so much lore spread out all around the pages it makes searching and writing anything so difficult.
