>Welcome to Sin Princess Quest! A story of monsters, magical girls, and warring kingdoms!
>Previous Threads, Mechanics, and the Twitter are here!

>Rolls are typically D20’s, best of three, barring critical failures and successes!
>Voting lasts until the 10 minute mark of the called vote!

You are Avaritia, Princess of Sin, wielder of the envious Vice Gem, and currently very lazy heir of Castle Golgoth.

After adventuring into the human realm, getting acquainted with the villagers of a small town and obtaining a potential magic tutor in the form of a witch named Rosemary, you'd decided that a little break had been earned.

For you, not your mindless servants.
There were perks to being royalty after all.

>Envy, 100/100
>Health, 15/15

However, simply getting a tutor wasn't going to be enough.
If you wanted to use the power that others could, you'd need a starting point, and right now that point was your Librarium. The massive repository of scrolls and spellbooks your Father had accrued, you'd been warned away from it by your steadfast caretaker Strix. But now you needed to be in there, you needed something to bring back to Rosemary.

A tutor wasn't much good without a text to teach from.

As it was, you find yourself flush with power and...

>Resting on your throne-in-progress, picturing the splendor of your home once you come into your own?

>At the outer wall of Castle Golgoth, looking balefully out at the Wyld, the mystic, chaotic forest that surrounds your hold?

>Standing before the Mirror, the mysterious portal to the human world, a place of potential?

>Other Action?

Apologies for being two weeks late.
I'm just terrible.

YES FIRST POST I DIDN'T MISS IT!
>>
>>160285
Oh, so NOW you want to be part of my quest, hm?
>>
>>160289
Yes.

Is that okay, Onii-chan?
>>
>>160301
Hmff, I suppose we'll see if it is, pest

Sure, I can play ball.

Gonna give it five more minutes, then call the vote.

Your claws scrape along the jagged obsidian of your throne, eyes dulled at you fantisize of the lavish parties and indulgent opulence that would fill your halls. Would nobles duel for the honor of your company? Would fine lords and ladies come before you to kneel and bow in show of submission? Would you have honorable knights and comely maids?

The thoughts make you giddy, as you distance yourself from the desolation that dominates your home, from the uncomfortable, primitive stonework that is your seat of power, from the gnawing desire that makes your chest ache.

"-incess? My Princess? Are you well?"
The interruption pulls you from your musings and you look to your side to see old Strix, your scarecrow caretaker, propped up by his haggard cane.

His raspy voice speaks up again.
"My Princess, what is your will?"

Aw, it's sweet of him to ask. Of course, he was built to serve, so maybe it isn't so sweet.

Still, you should probably make... a decree or something. Princesses make decrees, yes?

>Tell him to take you to the Librarium? No more waiting?

>Tell him you're making another venture through the portal, you never got to see as much as you wanted and that Goblin Tribe is still there?

>Tell him you're journeying out into the Wyld, you could do with a monstrous servant or a new appendage?

Time to get revenge on the wolves!
>>
>>160388
Couldn't even bother to copypaste the full green.
Truly, you are the Worst.
>>
>>160399
I'm feeling lazy today, many apologies, Onii-chan!

>Tell him you're journeying out into the Wyld, you could do with a monstrous servant or a new appendage?

You rise from your throne, snake-tail uncoiling from it's place in your lap, stepping down to the bare stone of your hall. Following closely, Strix listens and nods as you talk, dutiful silence reigning save for the shuffling of his robes.

"The Wyld, Strix. Rosemary can wait, I want to try my hand at those old woods again. And if I see that old wolf, it won't be like last time..."

"Of course, my Princess. No beast could compare to your might."

You allow yourself a smirk as you both reach the ancient gates, Strix signalling the two Mandrakes standing guard to lift the mighty structure with its chains.

"How shall you do this, my Princess? Luring a beast out worked last time, will you try that again?"

Will you?

>Of course, it worked before it will work again!

>No, I'll head in and flush out prey myself.

>I'll try something else, maybe...

>Other Action?

Of course!

>No, I'll head in and flush out prey myself.

>>No, I'll head in and flush out prey myself.
It is time for the hunt.
I'm really late.
>>
>>160444
>No, I'll head in and flush out prey myself.

No. As successful as you were last time, you were craving a more visceral hunt this time.
Your snake hisses in agreement as you stride out beyond the imposing walls of your home, ignoring your caretaker's worrying and fretting/

"I'll be back before the Sun sets, Strix, be calm."

You snicker at your little joke as you look up to the starless eternal night that encompasses the skies of your banished realm.

Before long, you stand before the towering trees of the Wyld, fog curling around your hooves cloyingly, your snake lifting its head above the rising dampness with a haughty his. Without another words you step past the first layer of trees, shadows deepening and fog rolling at your hips.

Now, to find a monster to harvest or capture...

>Go high, the harpy was there last time?

>Stay low, seek out something new?

>Go looking for the Old Wolf, ignoring everything else?

>Other Action?

My last post, gonna sleep.

>>160550
thanks for taking part!

>>160532
shhhhh
>>
>>160521
>Stay low, seek out something new?

You don't particularly care about finding a harpy again.
Besides, if you had a minotaur before what else could you find down here?

Moving quickly, you run through the foggy undergrowth, hopping over giant roots and past gnarled trunks, keeping your eyes sharp for any unusual movement, even as the swirling mist distorts your vision.

Eventually, you hear a sound, a rustling in the sparse vegetation that litters the hidden forest floor. A scent tickles your nose as you creep closer. Blood...

A hunched shadow comes into view, crouched over a formless mass, cruncing and slurping as a trickle of blood pools around your hoof.

Definitely a hunter...

>Tackle it now, take the beast by surprise!

>Approach slowly, the Old Wolf was able to talk, maybe this being is able to too?

>Summon a weapon and armor and make a challenge?

>Other Action?

A reminder of your current Advantages and Disadvantages

Advantages?
- Cruel Imagination! When creating weapons, your mind is able to decide quickly and in greater detail! You gain a +2 to weapon creation when using your Vice Gem.
- Spear And Destiny! You favor a long reach and a hampered opponent! Attacks made using a spear against a debilitated enemy gain a +2 to success!
- Heart of the Beast! Your natural, base cunning and monstrous parts have given your some insight into communicating with animals! On a High Success result when communicating with animals, you may command them to do one thing of their own free will.
- By the Horns! With a minotaur's horns grafted to your head, you become a deadly foe in head-to-head combat! Gain ability Charge and earn a +2 to combat dice when doing so!

Disadvantages?
-Not So Surprise Party! You are... not particularly subtle when launching a surprise attack. You just get so swept up in the moment that you struggle to not vocalize your excitement! You now suffer a -2 when launching a surprise attack!
-Rattletail! So much for being a useful second head! Your snaketail enjoys creeping around prey so much that it lets out a hissing little laugh if you aren't careful to keep it quiet! You now suffer a -2 to stealth.

Just need one more 1d20

Then the combat roll
Ugh, I've got to think of another Advantage!
>>

We can quick create a spear without a roll?
>>
Rolled 16 (1d20)

>>160711
There. No need to be picky about it, Onii-chan!
>>
>>160723
that's... not a bad idea.
Gimme a sec to write something up.

>>160726
Thank... you...
God I wish you'd rolled a 1, it would have been hilarious.

>>160681
>22, Critical Success!
>Long Arm of the Lady! Your skill at conjuring weapons, specifically spears, allows you to create a spear without a roll! It will only last for one hit and takes a round to recreate, at the cost of 5 Envy.

>>160686
>19, High Success!

>Envy, 90/100
The comfortable weight of your spear in your claws and conjuring a form-fitting set of intimidating armor to protect yourself reminds you of your power.

Sneaking close, you crouch low and leap high, crying out in excitement, your snake hissing alongside you!

>Roll 1d20-4, Best of Three
>Good Luck

Rolled 19 + 4 (1d20 + 4)

That is not a twenty.

And I've run later than I wanted too...

I'm sorry, everyone, but the results of this /qst/ dice roller-coaster are going to have to wait!
I'll pick back up on Monday with Sin Princess Quest 7

Who or what did you attack? What did that crit-fail do? What color were that priestess's panties back in Millton?

Learn at least two of these things next time on Sin Princess Quest!
