you took the southeastern path, More dolls littered the path. Whispers settled in the air, they were everywhere; on the road...hanged over the trees...half buried...all were whispering.

You found a clearing in another crossroad, it was brimmed with used, broken dolls. A strange mound rested in the center, it was the amalgamation of endless dolls twitching in what you assumed to be immense pain.

An intact doll was hidden from your eyes this whole time. It ran away from you. It climbed the mound of broken dolls ahead. The ground started to shake. Dozens of dolls were pouring from this mound. each one of them had a distinctive thread connecting it the mound.

You heard a plethora of horns. some sounded familiar, some felt odd to your ears. Three Banners were raised by bigger dolls surrounding the mound. Each belonged to a different land swallowed by time.

Dozens of dolls made advanced formations; sharp spears, sturdy shield and underhanded bows....all were ready to strike you.

The doll at the certain pointed towards you cursing you in an odd language. It sounded premature and crude to your ears

In mere moments, a surge of tremendous power ran through your veins.....

Their banners were tattered and useless after your tempest of rage. You pinned the scrawny doll before stomping on it with your feet.

Your dolls were still standing, they keeled towards the green banner of Coris . When it lost its glow and power, they collapsed on the floor like their brethren.

In front of you, a rusty old gate was opened, a small ruined manor rested on a hill. A flicker of light radiated from the second floor.

You walked to the manor, Its former garden was decorated with dozens of headless dolls in various poses, years of negligence sapped the beauty of this once majestic garden.

A faceless life-sized doll awaited you in the front door.. She wore a fancy attire only fit for nobles, The manor itself was riddled with threads of endless colours. It was almost impossible to walk inside without being tangled in one of these colorful webs.

"May I touch the hand of the murderer of my children?" the doll asked extending its right hand. Her left hand was teemed with lots of needles. You felt sorrow and grief in her tone.

Yes, I can no longer sense my children....m-y sw-eet little children...."

The tar reached your waist as you waddled through this filth. You exerted much effort with each step.

All the bubbled stopped for a second, the next one exposed a slender giant centipede-like creature. It had black chitin layer covering its soft boneless body. Various pores were randomly scattered across its body, it had an elongated mandible fit to crush rocks and bones alike. It possessed no eyes. Instead, it had hair-like receptors sprouting from its neck.

If it weren't for the wound, you have been crushed to a thin paste. Most of the bile was gone by now, you slipped into the wound instead of slicing it. You were in an empty stomach of sorts, two sphincters clogged each end. You were certain there was another stomach at the very end of this creature.

Your voice was muffled inside the creature but it was audible nonetheless "O-oh I....please, brave soul, release me from this pulsating prison... My iron flesh is waning, I can not hold it much longer."

You were struggling inside of the stomach as more traces of bile were produced to re-compensate the utter loss thanks to you. The arthropod rocked wildly which didn't make it easier for your to get a grip on your katana.

You managed to grab your katana. In mere moments, you inflicted enough slashes to split the creature into two. It wailed in response rolling wildly in the tar.

You hear a certain hiss behind you. Your instincts drove you away from the incoming bile which tainted the spot where you stood; the sphincter of the second stomach must have opened. It spewed a bare woman with iron flesh protecting her petite body.

You weren't in a better shape either; you crimson robe was nothing but a loosened tatters held together by wishful thoughts. The woman took a deep breath. She slowly stood up, you noticed that she lacked eyes just like you.

"Thank you, now please find a high ground away from the tar...." anger was clear as day on her face. she didn't pay any attention to her nudity as her spell faded. She did her best to dry her left hand. A brilliant flame sprouted from her left hand.

Orros accepted your invitation, your newly acquired Homeward bones are valuable to you as your longed the warmth of the sanctuary.

You crushed a bone to return to your shelter.

Fresh blood was splattered aplenty. Red and black blood to be precise. This of course triggered the sins of the betrayers in your mind.

You drew your Katana hoping that you are not too late. You found something entirely different.

Snitches was resting next a wall tainted with his own blood. The maiden, Eresle, was tending to his wounds . The Firekeeper was helping as well.

"You should have seen this, bruv. A man ,up to no good i tell you, has entered the sanctuary. He learned not to mess with a fly ...not just any fly... Me! Snitches the fly. Isn't that right me darlings? I.." Blood tangled with his cough.

"At ease. You have done well. Now let me take care of the rest." Snitches' injuries was pretty serious and yet he maintained a satisfied grin. It was good to see the fly and the maiden on good terms. You hoped the same for the pyromancer as well.

The firekeeper wasn't exactly inclined to talk but she gave you a quick run down about what happened while you were in Pilgrim's woods.

She spoke of Snitches offering his sincerest apology to the maiden despite for false gods once he met her here.

As for Silverarm, he didn't do anything this time; Snitches was sleeping on the ceiling when he came for another round. He expressed his twisted desires to the maiden. Snitches could not stand idle. The betrayer was forced to escape after Snitches' confrontation. The two wounded each other as it was apparent around you.

Lishro didn't came back while you were gone.

You drew strength form the firekeeper. This whole ordeal has left her stressed out. it was for the best to leave her to rest.

The maiden was too busy with Snitches. Once she was done, she heeded your call. Eresle looked pale and unhealthy "Here....this one has been purified, this soul is free of the abyss' soft touch."

You gained Soul of the infant, the last seed of Coris

Despite everything, The maiden was happy with the likes of you and Snitches. She sensed some holiness in this place which comforted her in return.

A landscape of graves awaited you in the west, the path to the south was guarded by a bulky figure, He was bald. His face spoke of bitter times from all of these scars. His skin was faint grey. He didn't possess any weapons....just two menacing fists. He took pride in exposing his deformed chest. A visible hole was seen in his abdomen.

He seemed a bit more sane than Shard Yerne. he bowed to a small group of Pilgrims who had just arrived from the grave area.. One of the Pilgrims offered an Estus flask for the lonely shard. He refused with a smile.

There was a somewhat large hut at the end of a cliff onwards.

_________ Graves of Old ________

[Ring of the lost is clueless, It shivers with fear]
You took your first steps into this large graveyard. Tombstones covered the horizon of various size and shapes.

Of all the tombstones, Five stood out from the rest; they were the largest of them all. The skies above you were black and thick in nature, it was dripping a black substance on the ground.

The dead were rising from their endless graves donning the robe granted by this 'rain' as it covered its naked, hollow bodies.

The Abyss held dominion here, you brand was churning inside tearing the warmth of your true soul....Your bell was covered with a black substance, It can no longer function as a medium for miracles.

You felt like your lungs were collapsing, every breathe was a challenge on its own.

Wick Qurso leaped into the air and crushed the ground where you stood with his mighty spear, The hunter of eyes' thrusts were quick and unforgiving. He gave you no chance to retaliate, the last thrust made a gaping hole inside your shield. Qurso yanked your Coris shield and stomped it under his foot.

With your peripheral vision, you found accursed Weir dangling from a tree. A grin arched on one of his many stretched faces "Self wishes the best of luck for this one..."

Qurso closed the distance in this moment of distraction. He grabbed you by your head with one hand, the other was searching for an eye to pluck. You forced yourself out of his grasp by a a powerful kick.

Your crimson robe was completely ruined during this little dance. You regained your posture, ready for the next move.

The mireness and murkiness of the Pilgrim's woods were gone, it was replaced with a scorching black moon with a white ring surrounding it You didn't know whether it was an actual/eclipsed moon or a sun in guise or something else entirely different. It didn't matter at the moment.

The ground beneath you was an amalgamation of black sand and large patches of black grainy glass. While you couldn't see any sun ray, the red scale set was cooking you. Sweat showered you, the humidity of this place was unbearable. Breathing proved to be difficult in these parts. your vision was blurring; you were certain that you were seeing things that weren't there.
