Even under light garments, your blood was boiling and your feet were getting roasted by the black sand.

A patch of strange glass was close, Various statues made out of glass were around said patch. You could almost see horror in the hollowed eyes of the sautes.

Cold breeze seeped from the patch though. While you were not aware of how it worked exactly, you would do anything to escape such immense heat.

As you took a step closer to the patch, Five small spiders sprouted from their pure hidden spots. Instead of silk, they spewed what you would describe as 'liquid glass' . Your left leg was trapped under this liquid which formed a not-so-thick layer of glass around it pinning you to the ground.

The glass proved to be difficult to crack. The spiders gave you little time to react to your failure as they spewed more and more of this liquid. Soon, you were completely encased in glass.

.
.
.
.

You opened your eyes slowly. No, you didn't die; you did black out though. You found yourself in a cave of sorts made out of glass. Black and light blue were the main theme of this strange cave.

As for yourself, your head wasn't encased. the rest of your body remained immobilized under the unforgiving glass.

Soon, Eight spiders approached you , they realigned the glass over your chest in a way that would allow them to carry you over their flat backs.

You were dropped on a low, wide table. A ravaged corpse of a woman lied next to you, it was rather fresh. A large glass spider was festering on the corpse. Various colours tainted its main light green colour of its semi transparent body. Despite the vast difference in size and structure, It reminded you of another spider....

"Oh! You shouldn't have my darlings! Two meals in a single day?! you are spoiling me too much!"

For now, It kept ravaging the corpse next to you. She gave you no attention what so ever. The little spiders left; perhaps they were certain that a measly meal wouldn't do much harm to their master.

"O-ooh sweet brother...."

The spider cleaned its bloodied arms, She brought a small chair for you to sit on

"My most sincere apology, I am Vandelena. A cursed spider. My single wish was to have a name of my own.... Vorrem knew...Spiders do not vanquish other spiders but Vorrem chose to curse and exile me from our chasm. I wound up in this horrid cave. Despite my revolting look, I take no pleasure in gutting up humans and eating them...for it is a curse to bear. Otherwise, I would perish."

Vandelena paused " Mire not blue. Mire not in yellow. Only the red shall keep the dread away. Red full of life, Red full of strife. I will never break this wretched curse...I...do forgive me, I strive to act like a woman of noble line for once, It was a dream of mine. You are free as the wind. Please, Take this."

Vandelena gave you a Spider's finger

Either rely on some enchanted weapons or strike the beast with sorceries. The latter I can provide; I did serve the dark once...I know how to corrupt pure souls and twist them into powerful dark magic. Your intellect...it might need some aid"

North it was.

Your vision was blurry in the midst of this black deserts; you were seeing things that weren't there, Sometimes you heard sounds of illusion.

Under this confusion, you found Weir surrounded by corpses of bipedal lizard-like creatures. He assumed the form of the hunter of eyes as expected.

" Aaah, Alas, this one is to be found. This one is tricky to pursue like a ...fleeting dream. This one might want to aid self once more....There is a ....room in the darkest belly of Mad's decent...it is sealed by old blood. To open it, one must have drawn blood of a dear or a blood of a little one new to this world. Self have no dears or little ones to consume. You continued marching to the north, there were a lot of glass statues in the way especially on the glass patches. You wondered why the spiders would take some and leave the most to the scorching desert.

A statue stood out of them all; it was surrounded by five of these lizard creatures. With their long tongue and broken teeth, they were suckling it and/or trying to chew whoever was inside. Their little intellect couldn't show that biting hard glass was pointless. Biting flesh however....that was another story.

The flesh construct made no hostile moves, It bent its knees. A small ladder was extended below the small door in the collar. From a small figure descended to the ground.

He looked very similar to Kesp except this one had stubbier arms and feet, he wore what you would interpret as fine gentlemen's garments with a feathered pointy hat. His scales were quite shiny and blue.

" My good man, Allow me to introduce myself. I am Halfbreed Magolis and this brute is Qasii, i am an avid collector and sometimes trader of powerful souls. Aaaah, so this is the new slayer of these parts; i sense a belt of wondrous souls around you. The respect i held for your feat restrict me from outright killing you and snatching these souls. Your second question was answered as you spotted the firekeeper tending to the construct recent wounds. Lishro was on the top of the sanctuary eyeing the whole scene with caution while snitches would occasionally peek his head every now and then.
