Last time on Dragon Quest, we send a spy to China to investigate if a dragon is there, we ate a diplomat to get new one (and convinced his wife to bang him, because we're bro-tier), "invaded" France and vassalized them, and we took Reuviere de Bonaparte as our ward, and mutated him, we also accepted a Princess of Denmark as our concubine in exchange of their vassalization. Oh, and our wife and concubines gave birth!

Your son Charlemagne sleeps on your couch, while your child Revenaris rests on his belly. Viktarious is running around, hitting other children with a stick challenging them to battle while he's in his half-dragon form. It seems he inherited the ability to shape-shift. Your daughter, Maria is attempting to duel him, but keeps failing. Juilius however, is simply watching while sitting on the dirt, apparently writing something down.

It seems you have a free morning...

You decide to spend time with your family.
"Alright come on kids, dad's gonna show you how we roll here in the Imperial Palace."
Charlemagne slowly gets off the couch, while Revenaris eagerly waits behind you. Everyone else comes towards you, also eagerly waiting for you.

You decide to take them around the palace...

You find that Viktarious is... Well, he's interesting. He constantly attempted to hurt, or harm something, or at the very least insult them. He however, did not do this to any of your children, he did this to nobles (mostly). You find this quite odd.
Viktarious Personality
>Sadistic
>Family-Loving
>Extremely Ambitious.

Revenaris seemed to follow his half brother, Viktarious, and attempted to console him on why he shouldn't hurt people. His half-brother of course, ignored him, but did say he loved him. In addition, whenever an argument broke out, he seemed the most... Neutral, out of all them. He was also eager to learn about the country and the people in it.
Revenaris Personality
>Kind
>Just
>Nationalistic

Maria was... She was the one who constantly kept getting lost, and in fact your fairly sure she did it on purpose. She was arguably however, the most outgoing one in the family, especially outside.
Maria's Personality
>Charming
>Nature-Loving
>Content

Juilius is... Well, he simply stayed in the back, avoiding talking. He seemed be planning something, always. He constantly took notes, and always spoke with a mannerism reserved for those in high positions of power.
Juilus Personality
>Cultured
>Ambitious
>Anti-Social

Throughout the day, you see Viktor channel his hate into... Well, something that is at the very least, less of a dick move.
Viktor seems to get into a lot of fights. A lot. Hell, he seems to love them, you nearly always see him smile during one of his fist-fights with some of the palace's children. Luckily he chooses to fight in human form, so not to accidentally kill someone.

You walk up to Juilius, who is scribbling on his notes.
"Where did you get that?'
"One of the servants gave it to me."
You notice that he's been doing a mixture of doodling and taking notes about people. What they're like, and what not. Also, he's been drawing them.
"Instead of observing people, why don't you go up and talk to them?"
"Why would I? I could just simply observe them and from there establish a personal bias of whether or not I should talk to them."
"Mostly because it's weird as hell to doodle someone and take notes, without even knowing who they are."
He sighs.
"Fine... I'll talk to Viktor then. And hopefully not end up being punched."
"Good luck then."

Your son seems to get along quite well with Viktor, who is actually quite protective of him. The two of them somehow get along pretty well. Of course, Juilius nervously shows his artwork, and Viktor nods and compliments his drawing. Then of course, he challenges him to a fist-fight, which Julius (hesitantly) agrees to.
Once that's over, and Juilius is laying on the ground, he makes a big speech to Viktor about "how he learned to not be afraid" and other pansy stuff like that. Viktor just says that he probably hit him a little too hard.

You decide to take your kids to watch televesion. After you do what Charlemagne calls "Channel Surfing", you find some crudely drawn and animated televsion shows... Your kids are fascinated by them. Even Charlemagne is watching, without ranting about the Lizardjews or something like that.
You have a few channels you could watch...
Channels
>Huh, there's a cartoon about you... Whelp, guess it's time to both satisfy your ego and have fun with your kids.

Looks like ego wins...

You decide to watch that one cartoon about you. You are slightly impressed that they keep getting your good side, and apparently it covers your rise to power. There are lots of hammy accents however, such as the Queen Of England sounding extremely posh. Which she is, but you'd never say that to her face. Eventually it ends at the part where you made an alliance with England.
For the next hour or so you have to answer plenty of questions from your children, until you finally arrive at the NATO embassy. Two guards look at you in utter confusion.

You put on a smile, and walk up to the door, there, the two guards fumble for their rifles.
You shake hands with them, and they are extremely confused.
"Uh... Sir? Do you want to see the ambassador?"
"Why, yes I do. Could you open the door please?"
The man nervously sweats, and opens the door for you, slowly.
"Thanks. Now, kids, what do you say to the nice man?"
They say thank you, except Viktor and Charlemagne, Viktor just challenges the man to a fist-fight. The man sweats a little more anxiously, and declines, while Charlemagne just goes on a rant about how the "Flordianian degnerates had it coming..." and whatnot.

Your kids look around the room.
"What does he do, daddy?" says Maria.
The diplomat's eyes go up, and then turn to his book in fear... Hoping that if he doesn't move that you won't notice him.
"Well, he's a dear friend of mine, after I ate his colleague! You lean on his shoulder, and he squeaks in pain, and is now sweating nervously.
"Dad, why is he your friend if you ate his friend?" is the follow up question posed by Maria.
"Well, that's simple! If he helps me, I make sure he stays out of my stomach..."
The ambassador gets the hint, and tries to say something.
"Uh... Sure! He and I go way back!"
"Nearly four days and a half!"
"Yeah... I guess. Please don't eat me" is whispered in your ear.
You laugh heartily and hit him on his back. He squeaks in pain.
"Oh... What's your name again?"
"Franklin... Franklin Delano Jr."

He nods, and falls down in his chair.
Before you leave you say to the man...
"Feel free to thank me for having your wife give you a good tumble four days ago."
"Wha-"
You and your kids flee, and head to the church, where Reinhold is.

Inside, Reinhold is intrigued by you bringing in your children, and offers to baptize them. Of course, your children all agree without knowing what the hell baptization is, while Charlemagne slowly backs out of the room.

Keep in mind, Dragonblood requires anesthetics within ten minutes, so you'd spike the populace and most of the people would die.

You decide to baptise them.
It's interesting, sufficently said.

Viktor is the first to be baptized, and attempts to breathe fire because he can't breathe. The water ends up being boiling hot, so you have to wait a while before you can do it again. Maria does it, but accidently turns the water to acid, because she was trying to escape. The rest of the baptizations work out fine, and you even come up with a new idea...
You let your children run off, slightly traumatized. It seems the rest of your afternoon is free.

After a few hours of tinkering, you come up with a basic eye design, similar to your old one. It has no benefits, but will at least let you see. Of course, you had to harvest it out of a human, so it'll feel weird for a few days before you get accustomed to it.
Due to it being just a regular eye, you attach in your head, no problem. And, thanks to your enchantment skill, you can see from it again.

While you finish this up, the bell rings. Apparently a servant wants you.

Good Success!

You go in hard, doggy style on her human form as you shift into your half-dragon form. She takes it surprisingly well, and for the next hour you spend pleasuring her with Adolf. Eventually, you pull out, and fall down next to her. She is unconscious from the pain and pleasure you have just caused. Eventually an hour from then, she wakes and whispers into your ear...
"Best sex I ever had, thank you."
You rest, and the two of you just kinda talk for a while. It's nice.

Looks like Economy wins.

You call your economists to your side, again. They are less irritated, and have already prepared coffee for dealing with this so early in the morning.

Apparently, the German Panzer Corp in Hansodr has discovered that the workers are... Well. Lycanthropes. They have been using that to their advantage, and have come up with plans to introduce a Super-Heavy Tank Factory not too far away, thanks to the populace's great strength and determination.
In addition, Stockholm has set up basic tourist facilities, which are completely booked from the smallest motel, to the largest inn. It seems that the nation is drawing plenty of tourism thanks to you, the armed forces, and whatnot... You have a few more ideas to further this.
Actions (Select Two)
>Introduce a new sort of architecture to Stockholm... Something that looks... Dragony. And that shows the nation's power and prestige. (Intelligence, HARD)
>Demand construction of addition hotels, motels, and whatnot to house the tourists. (Cost: 45k)
>Start setting up National Days and holidays to increase tourism (Cost per session: 35k, decide what you want to celebrate.)

Overwhelming Success!

You spend an hour drawing up designs... It's all pansy tier! Nothing glorious, nothing awesome, nothing to show the glory of Sweden!
Then, that's when you hit it.

You start drawing furiously, and get Juilius in your library to tell you when something wouldn't work. He tells you that "the spikes might hurt someone." You slap him and tell him to MAN UP! You both go crazy and begin yelling "ARCHITECTURE FOR THE ARCHITECTURE GOD!"
In the end, you come up with extremely draconic, authoritarian, and beautiful architecture, which is often embedded with runes and drawings of saints, along with the traditional nordic rune drawings... Not to mention, that buildings that have a room going outward often look like mouths and whatnot.
Fuck yeah.

You should probably apologize to Julius for slapping MANLINESS into him. Or DRAGONLINESS?
Of course, after this is done, you hear the bell ring. When you go outside, it's Claw.
"H-Hey."
"Hey, what do you need Claw?"
"Well... Everyone's been asking me when we-we're going to continue the D&D session..."

Your loyalist faction is angered because well... They're capitalistic. It goes with the name Conservative. Oh shit son...

Your teaching your children Theology first...

Charlemagne seems sightly interested, if only so he can now rant about "the pope is a jew!" and whatnot. Revenarius takes the studies extremely seriously, impressing even you... But Viktorius seems to have gotten slightly... Fantical. He often quotes from the bible, and seems to be extremely pious, for a slightly sadistic, battle-loving dragon. Maria seems to learn quite a bit, and often talks to Juilius about religion, while Juilius attempts to chill with Viktor.

Congrats, you just made a (slightly) sadistic battle-loving dragon who is really ambitious, fucking religious.

Now rolling for necromancy.
>>
About half-way through learning this, Viktor yells out "HERESY!" extremely loudly, while causes Juilius to fire a necrotic bolt directly at the ground. Viktor immediately tries to purge it in "holy fire", and now your library is on fire, with your pupils panicking from Viktor setting a goddamned fire in your goddamned library.

Sighing done.

You freeze it over, and just sigh in disappointment. Viktor stands triumphentily over the frozen ground, while everyone around him says "What the hell!" and "WHY DID YOU SHOVE ME VIKTOR!"

You decide to call it early, and go to bed.
You also notice that Viktor and Revenarius are now the size of a car in their full form, once you leave.
You pass your concubine on the way to the feast room to get lunch, and notice her stomach's bigger than usual... It seems you made her pregnant.

For most of the today, you teach your child about warfare. He seems to mostly solve it either by eating it, setting it on fire, or crushing it. He also seems to learn tactics quite easily, and you even teach him how you lost your eye. He is ready, and you send him off on his destiny.

I'm going to bed tonight guys, nite.

>>
>>253550
Thank you for running.
>>
>>253550
Ok guys I'm gonna make a bucket list of things to do so we all have common goals in mind, we will change it as we go depending on priority but since this quest is very convoluted and massive I figured we might as well start something like this

>primary goals
1. get Iceland under the fold somehow. Preferably without war
2. Strengthen our situation diplomatically by getting France, Germany, and Spain to like us more. Also get the papal empire in here as well if possible, create our version of an EU.
3. Reform domestic stuff. Maybe more economy, maybe more industry and infrastructure, maybe even the military to get some up to date equipment (and power armor with enchantment for our special forces).
4. Mellow out the political landscape, radical ideologies are bad mkay.

>secondary objectives
1. Family time!
2. SCIENCE!!!
3. Mellow out on the tumbling for fucks sake, like seriously Lewd stuff is bae but too many kids is really not good.
4. D&D, cause meta. And also we want to keep in touch with our closer friends and this is the best way to do it honestly.

>tertiary things
1. Personal improvement, get some mutations going. Maybe even some improved agility
2. Build up spy networks
3. Up education standards if we can afford it, because it's just a good idea.
4. Get involved in the sports scene somehow. (I already explained why we should make the nations' professional sports triathlons, extreme skiing/snowboarding and rugby)
>>
>>254059
Triathlons when we take Iceland, but our first goal should be winning the people, most groups are anger or worse, and our people are disloyal.
>>
>>254063
Not so much now actually, we repaired (or right now are repairing) Oslo and gave universal healthcare. Might wanna lower the taxes on the people a smidgeon and up taxes on the nobility but other wise that can easiliy go hand in hand with domestic affairs and mellowing out the political landscape
>>
The majority of people are disloyal according to the docs, and the only people who are happy are the nobles and the clergy, just saying.
>>
>>254079
Even so it's quite easily fixed.
>>
>>254083
we should make an immigration policy, and we signed a nonaggression pact with the warsaw, now we can't get directly involved in China's Revolution. .
>>
>>254090
China has a lot of people... And they will want to run away from the crisis over there. So yeah we can get some hundreds of thousands of immigrants under our belts, maybe the lot of them will be skilled workers.

Thing is though I think we should make the process quite beurocratic, that way we have established Chinatowns and such. It'll put a divide in the people potentially, but we don't want a repeat of modern day Germany.
>>
>>254059
About your primary goals list.
I'm all for getting Iceland, but I'm not so sure we should buddy up with Spain too much, I prefer siding with Brittain. What we should do next though is talk to our loyalist faction, get them to understand that what we are doing is to their advantage, maybe hold a speech about the how the benefits of policies like universal health care doesn't mean we're communists.
>>
>>254123
Our kid is great at giving speeches, might help with loyalty allround.
>>
>>254123
Supporting, but Britain is basically sucking our dick already. If anything we should be asking for a little bit of help in the form of favors to patch up our domestic situation around the edges.
>>
>>254133
>>254134
New holiday?
>>
>>254133
That he is, but I think this is something we should be doing ourselves. But as long as it gets done we should be fine.
>>254134
Not a bad idea actually, we should have earned ourselves a favour for helping them get Normandy. Though other than straight up asking for money, what do we need from them? Should we perhaps ask them to help us improve relations with Germany further to bring the alliance closer?

On that note, we should invite the Kaiser over and inform Germany about what the Austrians are up to. Preferably sooner than later.
>>
>>254150
Definitely supporting
>>
>254150
>>254173

>>
Can we stop trying to teach the kids necromancy!
Only bad things will come of it. with all the ones we roll it will end up killing one of them.
>>
>>254599
I'm with you on this one, but a bunch of people really like their necromancy and won't care about the risks involved.
>>
>>254599
>>254599
Maybe we should teach them the theory of necromancy so they can better defend themselves.

I'm pretty against teaching them all necromancy.
>>
>>254655

>>
>>254659
I'm also against teaching them because /we/ aren't that good at necromancy, we aren't really teaching them anything because Rex kinda sucks at it.
>>
>>254646

I also want to upgrade ourselves a bit, judging by our size, we're only a mature adult, and while that's not whimpy in any we're still pretty weak compared to this.
>>
>>254692
I think we have enough size for now, considering how old dragons that size are usually. We already get a whooping +11 to related rolls due to our max size. I think we got the large upgrade 3 or 4 times already, causing OP to move it from Unstable Mutations to Extra Unstable Mutations. If the dragon in China turns out to be bigger, then we might have a reason to consider getting even bigger, but unless that happens I don't see why we would need to get any bigger.
>>
>>254721
I'm worried we're going to come up against something bad in the warsaw pact Only a Golden Dragon can contrive something as awful as communism
>>
>>254721
Chinese dragons are usually more magically powerful so I suggest we learn more magic.
>>
>>254741
i don't think more size will be the solution big and bad, if anything we need more versitility in our other forms so we don't end up in the situation we had when facing the White Death. Maybe upgrade our transformation so we can change faster or use more powers in our lower forms?
>>254742
Agreed, maybe study some enchantment for once. Or learn Fire Magic from Anette?
>>
>>254756
We need to take on some more risks in the form of Extremely Unstable Mutations.

Anyone notice the stupid DM hasn't given us any fucking mutation points in a billion years? FUCK

>>
>>255076
We really need to up our artillery.
>>
>>255076
As long as we just have to defend ourselves? Sure, we should be fine. I'm not feeling confident about staging any invasions though.

>>255125
I think any invasions can be prevented by the sheer amount of lycanthropes.
>>255119
Artillery is pretty important though, and we have almost none.
>>
>>255134
Speaking of lychanthropes, I looked through our tanks, seeing that all of them are "too small for half-dragon soldiers" and was thinking we should make one big enough for them. Until I saw this gem at the bottom of the list.

You decide to experment with your fake eye!

You accidentally however, inscribe a rune on it. One you never realized existed.
When you look through your left eye, everything is red... Gorey... And deserves slaughter.
Slaughter.
SLAUGHTER!
You close your eye, and when you look in the mirror... Your left eye is well... It's fucking terrifying, unlike your normal blue eye, this fucking eye is glowing red with wisps of red magic coming out. Holy shit. Which apparently makes you ANGRY AS FUCK, and also after some experimentation, allows you to slightly slow down time and in addition, shoot a powerful beam of PURE ANGER at an enemy. This of course, gets more powerful the more ANGRY you are.

Borderline Success!

You get angry at the enchantment book, it's teaching you things you already know... You know, you should just open your eye just to scare this son-of-a-bitch... But you decide not to, mostly because you realize it might end with you setting fire to alot of things, and people going missing. For some reason.

You learn only one rune for your troubles however... That is the rune of Serpent, a basic enchantment which allows armor to fit nearly anyone, no matter how ill-fitting. This must be what they used at Elizabeth's masquerade!

You are exhausted, and head to bed. Your wife is snoring, and is right next to you... You know, you could just... Give her a good tumble? But is it worth it? Is it worth it to possibly cause the world to slowly lose food supplies because your wife becomes as hungry as twenty elephants?

Oh, and I runned some math. I judge you guys as a 450 ton beast, (not sure if that's too low), and add a times 8 to the amount of food required per eating session. You guys basically eat 3680 tons per eating session. I am not sure if that's low or high as fuck.

So, just one thousand times more than the average human? Unless my quick random search for an average calorie intake per day being around 2k is flawed anyway.
>>
Well, the downside of being Ultra Hungry: Your hungry as fuck, and sperm whales may go extienct soon if you decide to hunt them down.
Good news: You can win those eating contests you always dreamed of
(Basically just going to say you need to eat a sperm whale per day in weight or else your fucked.)
>>
>>256183
a normal appetite I'm not sure how OP will alter that number for ultra hungry
>>

So we eat as much as 8000 people then. Ouch.
