Last time on Dragon Quest, we vassalized Iceland, got a cool new eye, got HUNGRY AS FUCK, Claw got bigger, we also found some shit out about our neighbors, such as the Hellenic Union's heir being a fucking minotaur, the Warsaw Pact not actually being human, and Austria-Hungary trying to get Ubersoldiers.

You have just awakened from your slumber, and find yourself empty of food. You require sustenance. You march down to the kitchen where your wife is, and the kitchen cannot keep up with either of your appetites.
Actions
>Try to hunt something down... It is clear the kitchen cannot handle your appetite (Survey)
>Fuck it, you can just eat a forest or something. You can eat anything, right? Hell, you could probably just eat dirt... Or mine with your teeth... Hm.

Overwhelming Success!

You open your left eye, and get ANGRY! YOU MUST CHUG THE FUCKING OIL AND BUTTER NOW!
You come crashing into the butter silo, and slice off the tops, the soldiers look at you in confusion, and you begin chugging the butter silos down. The soldiers cheer you on, mostly because they realize it's probably best to get on your side rather then get eaten. After the major silos are drained, you start shoving the smaller ones in your mouth. The soldiers at this point are actually attempting to fight back, realizing otherwise they might get killed for beign a traitor. You ignore them, and start chugging the oil, getting ANGRIER... Wait for it... And breathe oil fire all around the fucking storage, including the forest. You then shoot a laser into a fucking tank and fly off, closing your eye.
Butter Dragon is Best Dragon.
>Butter Eaten: 2500/2500 lbs.

You fly back home with the women you kidnapped, and you turn from SEARING MAGMA HOT ANGRY to REGULAR ANGRY.

You land in your lair, and release the women for later... First, you must do science!

After a few hours of working and resisting the urge to lathe yourself in butter (which you don't have), you eventually come up with something you like to call... Mutagen B. B for Butter.

The mutation works on you, and nearly anyone so long as they have draconic DNA, it essentially makes all food eaten be more effective, and effectively just returns you to your old self. Along with your wife.
However, the one weakness is in times of extreme emotion, the mutagen get's slowed down by the nervous and brain system, so the pill doesn't effect in times of heavy emotions.

After you mutate yourself, you feel a whole lot better. And feel bloated to hell. You shouldn't of eaten all that butter.
You go upstairs, and give your wife the mutagen. She hugs you and says "I was looking fat anyways." and goes away. Now the only time you have to worry about her being super hungry is during her period!

It is nearly night.

Whelp, lore bomb coming

The chieftan nods, and motions for you to follow him into the back room.

"In a byegone era, where the gods did not live, was a world unlike ours, full of other races, full of the dwarves, full of the elves, full of all sorts of... Mythical creatures. Then, one day, it vanished. Humanity came around, led by these beings. That would later fall into legend, as dismissed as myth. Then, the legends say "In the days of large longhouses, where man rules the skies and earth, where no other race may exist, there will be a harbinger, the first of the Dragons, their oldest brother, blessed by the ancient gods of Bahamut, and Tiamat. Blessed by the the ancient world, souls of great leaders will rise once more, men of unparalleled valor will fight against evil and tyranny. The Harbinger, shall be the light of man, and the darkness held within it."
"That is all?"
"That is all, the rest has faded into legend, and myth."

So question, how exactly does our digestive system work? Do people like, live in our stomach because it seems we have no real means of venting our stomach. Just a passing question, because I've been wondering this a little. Also, is there any mutations for our digestion system?
>>
>>257308
We can eat pretty much anything. The acids in our stomach are like, super powered/magical
>>
>>257308
we also have an acidic spit, I tried getting us to hide someone in our mouth and was told it's a bad idea, I assume anything we consume near instantly dies.
>>
Thinking about it, I think the dragon in China might be a gold one.
>>
>>257605
it could be... we havent seen one of those yet in our children and i dont think OP would re-use colors when he could add some variety
>>
>>257727
Mostly because the gold dragon is very asian themed, if it's a traditional one, it will be a very big problem.
>>
>>257400
So, if we kiss someone they're going to rest in pepperoni? Honestly, that could be very effective way of assassination, if we claim it's a "tradition".
Slightly saddened by No dragon stomach civilizations living off whatever we eat

>>257816
Could be that the OP isn't letting us have metallic colored baby dragons, because we are chromatic after all, and I think he wants this to be semi-D&D after all.
>>
>>257858
what I'm saying is this dragon in China might fuck us up, I hope our Liam Neeson spy return soon.
>>
>>257865
did the OP specify if the Warsaw Pact is explicitly owned by dragons, because they might just be ruled by something else, like rakashkas or something.
>>
>>257876
No specifics, this is all we got.
>After reading through the documents, you find that the Spanish spy apparently found evidence that some of the leaders of the U.S.S.R might be... Well... Not human. From there, it ends. No specifics given at all.
The rest of it is just us assuming things.
>>
>>257876
>>257889
we do know that the facist revolution in China is being led by a dragon.
>>
Just one more question since I'm new, are our children more effective then mutated humans, and if so, should we attempt to outbreed humanity?
>>
>>257906
Our children are more effective, but by technical means most of our children aren't actually our children, they're the nobles, so breeding too much can take power away from us, rather quickly. I honestly think we have enough kids, if we want more, we'll pork our wife for more true dragons.
>>
>>257906
Unless you want ruin the earth with our monstrous appetite, no.
>>
>>257978
We could probably make a gestaltation mutagen that zeroes the chance that we pass that trait on to the next generation.
>>
>>258185
Both our wife and us have the same hunger gene unless you want destroy our DNA.
>>
>>258261
The gestalltation mutagens can give mutations to the kid by affecting the pregnancy, Making one that prevents them from getting a mutation shouldn't be impossible. Even if we can't save ourselves from having it.
>>
Alright, I'm back from work, so I'm ready to clarify a few things.
>>257978
Hereditary traits are usually downgraded, and Ultra Hungry would simply just become Very Hungry.
>>257400
This, to be honest your mouth is extremely hostile to anything entering it (and probably smells, to be honest.)
>>257308
Your digestive system? I haven't really thought too much about this, but it's basically a mixture of basic human biology (shitting, pissing, etc), and your breath attack also is venting your stomach (via magical bullshittery), and there are quite a few mutations for your digestion system...

After an hour of waiting, the Diplomat sees you.

You tell your two legitimate sons to listen to Elizabeth, and make sure that they learn how to rule. They agree, and you begin packing your things. In an hour, the private ship the German Kaiser has sent has arrived, and you ride the ship down to Danzig.

"I assume you guys know where the local dragon is? I'm here to take care of Tiamat."
They all point to the not at all conspicuous cave. You thank them and go into you, and you decide to sneak down. Even after causing a mini-avalanche thanks to your clumsiness.

Inside, is a golden dragon... Not Tiamat, as Tiamat would most likely have nine or more heads... This just looks like a dragon, a young one at that.

You come to a forward charge, and she slightly wakes up, looking towards at you, a giant behemoth flying in the air, in a cave, trying to elbow smash her unconcious. She goes to rub her eyes, and you come smashing down on her stomach. Everything she ate for breakfast, lunch, and dinner is thrown up on the ground, and she is K.Oed. That was extremely easy... But then again, for a dragon she was quite small. (Or you are just insanely large.)

Legitimate Children remain under your control until you die or are disabled. Then you play as the heir.
Your illegitimate children basically go off to do "whatever" and attempt to get lands and shit. They are still of YOUR family, but also tend to stay with their mothers.
>>

"Are you keeping company with the slaves?"
He sighs.

You hear a sigh and... A yuan-ti wearing a S.S uniform comes out. You recognize this as the Yuan-Ti you converted back at Oslo.
"Nice to see you again, Renexizious."
"Heh, nice to see your getting along well with my son."
Your son blushes, and that's saying something for a red half-dragon.
"At least she's not a degenerate, like all the other women."
Svana sighs.
"He's nice once you get to know him."

Yeah, I'm a bit salty. I won't deny it. It bothers me even more that I was busy when you guys decided to be dicks to our kid. The feeling of not being able to even do anything about this because I didn't pay attention in time kind of sucks.

That part is my fault, not yours, but it still feels sucky.

You bring out your inner viking charisma. This translates as badly as you think it is. She slaps you once you attempt to give her your sexy face. So you go to the old, traditional ways. You haul her over your back, and start carrying her towards your lair anyways. It's how things were done in the old days with dragons.

Revenaris, meanwhile is outside your lair, pacing back and forth, and sees your carrying you Lorrania. He apparently gets inspired, and runs off. Or rather, flies off.

Critical Failure!
HARD CRITICAL FAILURE none the less!

You leave Lorannia in the concubine room, and leave her to sleep off her anger, while you chase after your son into the night. This does not end well. You opened your mouth to yawn, after hearing something else yawn. That yawn was apparently a passenger airplane, which you just swallowed. Hopefully no one will go looking for them. Then, that's when you realize that there is no wind, and your slowly falling into the ground... Into what seems like Oslo...
Oh shit, that is Oslo.
You come crashing down straight into the industrial sector, dealing quite a bit of damage.
Oslo Manufactories are now Damaged.
Tourism has been lowered.

We were never a dick to our son though. We had a SINGLE conversation with him that we could ahve rectified at literally any point in the future, but you instead insisted we dropped everything in the middle of an important situation to go coddle him and fuck a girl with him. Looks like Revenaris wins.

You are Revenaris, a white dragon, all around pretty chill dragon (hah!), who enjoys weapons and loves his nation. Recently, your dad has run away when he accidentally said he though you were gay. You must redeem your honor by shagging a princess.
You are DETERMINED to do this.

He didn't ask to talk, though. We we're in the middle of doing things and we're on track to do them until you came in and went 'OH SHIT WE'RE THE WORST PARENT DOUBLE TEAM THE DRAGONGIRL TO FIX IT'.

The worst part is you did that EXACTLY after he showed up, and was going to solve the problem himself by finding his own princess on his own initiative. You dropped everything to go chase after our son who was doing his own thing to make us proud. Fine, it wasn't ADHD, but it was a serious dick move.

Regardless,

Critical Success

You grab the rifle, and kick the throne room's door down, where apparently the Emperor of Austria-Hungary is. You fire a few shots in mere instants with your bolt-action, and most of the guards are dead or injured. You then take the king, punch him the heck out, steal his crown and rapier, and start moving room to room looting. Eventually you find the mead room, and decide to get drunk while doing this. Eventually you climb up the stairs, while trying to fight off some guards with a whiskey bottle and your rifle.
At the top room, you find it's barred, and kick it down. Inside is a blond haired aryan princess... Charlemagne would be proud that this is the first princess you kidnapped.
You grab her, and she starts yelling in Austrian, and you fly back home. Heck yeah!

Eventually you land right outside of your dad's lair... And realize you don't have your own room like Charlemagne... You improvise by going into the forest. Apparently the princess is now suffering from stockholm syndrome, and is attempting to kiss you.

"As we speak, he's in hiding with plenty of confidential notices, such as the lycanthrope populace, human experimentation, slavery, and last but not least, genocide and unlawful reign."

You decide to give land out to the Military, rather then the nobility... Now, you will make your generals (who are conveniently half-dragons) into Military Governors of the land. However, you still have a few questions about the checks of power...
>Remain Feudal... This means that you will call upon the Milltary Governors, who will call upon their personal soldiers they raise.
>Change to Absolute, this means you bypass the Military Governors and raise your own men which the Governors proceed to control. You take one of your Yuan-Ti prisoners, and begin experimentation to create a Yuan-Ti Half Dragon.

After some copious amounts of trial and error, you finally come up with the Mutagen.
If a Yuan-Ti is in fact,a half-dragon, it's snakelike figure becomes more draconic, and they even grow two heads, receiving a powerful breath attack similar to yours (and your direct sons). In fact, it seems that they have inherited some things from your blood... Yuan-Ti half-dragons also seem to be slightly larger then your average half-dragon, but much smaller then any of your sons.

Looks like meeting with your loyalists wins.

Current Form: Half-Dragon
You decide to pop on down and visit your loyalists to set aside their fears and angers about your recent actions. In Stockholm, you go to their new headquarters by the city's many monuments to your greatness (and other kings, you guess.)
You walk in, and the men inside salute you. Even if they dislike and are angry at you recent policies, they still respect you.
You tell them that you are holding a meeting, and are there to answer questions.

You stand on yet another stage... Your noticing a trend here, whenever you go into Stockholm. Many salutes go throughout the crowd, but some more angry citizens refuse to do so.
You extend a claw to a random civillian raising his hand if he has a question. He rises.
"What you are you going to do about the damned communists next door, the Warsaw Pact? We've seen little but non-aggression, they are our enemies! Their puppets have razed Stockholm twice now!"
The crowd yells in agreement to this one brave citizen.

The crowd gives a slightly confused cheer!
You pick someone else, a lycanthrope who's well... In lycanthrope form who raises their hand.
"What are you going to do about the Lycanthrope Clergy crisis?"
"What's all that about, first off?"
He lowers his hand, covered with a wristband of well... You. You have to admit, they are quite stylish.

You pat him on his back. He remains (somewhat) stoic, until you cross the corner, when you hear him yell...
"I actually made Dad proud!"

Heh, that'll do kiddo. That'll do.

Let's get the prep work out of the way.

The Soviet Union has a lot of land to consider. Naval invasions are probably the way to go but future incursions will be tough if our forces aren't fully motorized

Interesting, roll me a 1d20+4 for designing an APC.

Rolled 18 + 4 (1d20 + 4)

>>263215
Nice. No need to roll further unless we want a 20.
>>
>>263209
We have barbaric so we can if we want to
>>
>>263209
I hope this means the apc is amphibious

18+4=22
Great Success!

You start designing a half-track, with four Kg m/40 light machine guns attached to it, covering all positions. In addition, it is heavily armored on the sides and front, but the back is extremely exposed in order to allow ease of transportation of everyone on it. In total, it can fit about twenty or so soldiers. Additionally, the half-track is slightly amphibious over small rivers and other things, but anything larger will cause flooding and possibly drown the occupants. However, in order to produce these, you need a new industry and it'll take a while to outfit your forces with them. Additionally, they only fit Human, Dragonblood, and Lycanthrope troops, which means Half-Dragons will be slowed down compared to the rest of the regiment.

It's cheap and adds effectiveness to the military overall.

Also op you wanna do one more thing and then make a new thread cause this one is over the bump limit

I was thinking after we did I this we might do one more thing. Create a new artillery line, cause our standing artillery line is shit in every way
>>
>>263257
We can continue on the same thread until the end of the session. We've done that before.

Though if it's starting to become time. Maybe someone can help sum up what we did in this thread so we can archive it.

Eh, it's a little late to do another thread, and I am ending soon.

You immediately order the construction of the mechanized Industry in Stockholm. It will take a while to set up, but will allow your troops to respond faster...

Success!

You can choose three paths to develop along... each one has it's pros and cons.
>Mobile Artillery, it'll deal less damage, but allow for faster deployments. (Mortar Specialization)
>Static Artillery, it'll deal heavy damage but be unable to move. (Heavy Howitizer Specialization.)
>Semi-Mobile Artillery, it'll deal moderate everything. (Light Howitizer Specialization)
I'll catch you guys tommorow, too tired to continue tonight.
>>
>>263312
Thanks for running op

Obviously we should pick mortars, it just makes the most sense with what we have now
>>
>>263312
>>Semi-Mobile Artillery, it'll deal moderate everything. (Light Howitizer Specialization)
We need some mobility if we're planning to invade.

New thread when you continue?

Guys, I checked the sheet and noticed something interesting about Oslo.
>Resources: Iron, Steel, Bauxite, Oil (Untapped)
>Oil (Untapped)
>(Untapped)
There is money to be made next session if we decide to focus on this. They also have some damaged manufactories that we could fix while we're at it. Might best we do so too since we're about to lose $150,000 of our income when Warsaw cuts us off due to our invasion.
>>
Going to finish up your artillery choices right now.
It seems Semi-Mobile artillery wins.

You start designing a new howitzer, which you decide to call a Ren 45 mm Light Howitizer. The gun is quite shaped like the famous Bofors 37 mm, but the higher caliber and artillery conversion allows for artillery shells to be poured from it, and allows you to tow this onto motorized vehicles to speed up regiments. The only flaw this weapon suffers from is potential barrel warping, which could damage it in battle. Additionally, the Ren 45 mm doubles in extreme accuracy and penetration of enemy tanks, and can (in a few minutes) be converted into an anti-tank weapon.

New Weaponry: Ren 45 mm Light Howitizer
Traits: )Convertible to AT, High Accuracy against Tanks, Breaks more often in combat.)

>>263720
good job noticing that anon... I think that as soon as we get a chance we should put as much money into drilling as possible... we need to get in a good financial position and maybe when we do that we can make some more trade deals
>>
>>264714
i think we should get started on building up a mining industry as well, could help with the supplying the all ready existing industrys we have?
>>
>>264838
I agree... we need to spend money to make money so in my honest opinion we should dump all our money into mining and factories that make equipment and maybe we can sell it to our friends for lots of money?
>>
>>264714
I also notice now that we have untapped oil in Helsinki. But considering that's in Finland and we're planning to hit the Warsaw pact, maybe we should wait with getting that oil until after the war.
>>264838
Sounds like a good idea.
>>264613
QuestingQM, what kind of heavy tanks do we have? We have 50 of them, but the sheet doesn't specify of what kind in the Military Tech section.
>>
>>265047
Just Heavy Tanks, until you get a new one I won't bother to specify.
>>
>>266355
then i shall specify if it's OK:
Stridsvagn Kaloss 105A
1x 105mm smoothbore cannon
3x 12mm machineguns (turret, driver, commander pos)
130mm rolled steel chassis, mold cast turret
8 roller wheel vickers suspension
590hp 18L V10 kompressor diesel engine (Volvo or saab)
38kmh topspeed on road, 12kmh topspeed offroad
Basic short range radio
4-way telescope in turret

Also, new thread will be delayed due to one of my threads on the backburner and not fading away.
