Squick Quest part 2 - The New Kid Underground

The world is weird, and so are you.

Recap: You've awoken in this world, not having done too well in the genetic lottery. You have two fully functional heads, but pretty crappy vision and non-functional wings on your back. You've been deemed as being unready for life on the surface by shady beings and have been taken by a dweller to live out your early years underground.

You are introduced to your room. One kid hangs upside down, staring at you with the eyes that cover her body. Sitting on the bed near her, a kid has his entire torso wrapped in some sort of cloth. To your right stands a weird transparent kid with red eyes.

What do you do?
>>
>>279348
I vote we become an outcast even among them, so we can become isolated and hone our telepathic abilities. So don't say anything.
>>
>>279348
Proclaim yourself the alpha and challenge the Strongest kid there to a fight.

You promptly walk to a corner and sit down, avoiding eye-contact with everyone else. The dweller leaves while you aren't paying attention. You think about asserting yourself but I mean those other weirdos look kinda tough... I mean you can see that one's bones!

The other weirdos start to talk amongst themselves.
>>
>>279452
let's attempt to find peace in our solitude. discover meditation to pass the time untill the next event.

You spend most of your time in the dwelling meditating and generally not talking to anyone. Days, then months, then years go by before you are approached and basically thrown out of your dwelling. You step into the outside world, unprepared in pretty much every sense. Especially socially.

You have on you some basic garbs and a blind fold over one set of eyes. You also have a pretty basic map that even you can understand.

The map lists several locations:
Your new house
The hospital
The boutique
And the marketplace

What now?
>>
>>279604
now we wait for someone besides me to partake of this quest
I vote for the marketplace. Surely some sort of interesting story event will be encountered there
>>
I'll take a vote here for the location.
>>279615
Some of the locations directly tie into story events, others aren't as blatant.
>>

Lets go home and read. Or learn to read.

You walk up to the nearest stranger, whom appears to be inspecting some weapons at the shop. You open your mouth to talk, but only speak in a slight mumble. How does... how does one initiate conversation...? You tap the man on the shoulder and he turns around.
>Oh, why hello there! What do you want?
Uh...... what do you say?

You "carefully" sidestep around his question by ignoring it completely and start to talk about how you have begun to learn the finer points of conversation.
>Well that's good, it's never too late to learn I suppose!
You also mention the weapons salesman.
>You must mean Frederick! On the way here I had overheard several people discussing his work. It's supposed to be very good.
You ask about the other two.
>Ah, Doris and Claude, lovely fellows. Doris is the one with lots of eyes and Claude is the one... well he has a symbiote but he doesn't like to discuss it. They are both doing well, though Claude is always a bit nervous. I'm sure they'd love to meet you, though, I'm not sure when they'll be back.
You offer to help him unpack.
>No need, it's quite alright. I only have the one suitcase and it's more convenient to have everything together in case of an emergency.
Is this... conversing? You seem to be doing pretty well based on your limited judgement of two conversations!

I'll take control of Rob.

He'll say "I sense that Doris has arrived. We should properly introduce ourselves to her, brother."

Rob has enhanced senses since he has spent the majority of his life with a blindfold on hence he's more used to using his other sense and the telepathic connection to his brother to sense the world around him. Plus he's the one with the malformed laser/ultravision eyes IIRC.
