Last time on N.E.Q, we took over the province of Zgorzelec, got our father who is a deacon to join, caused our personality to change, and our family was surprisingly cool with us dating our waifu. We also beat the shit out of some commies.

Character Sheet: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1dbHfLvUNQVM4qsomLlvpMOEWO7IDEf1fmC1ICYzJBdA/edit

Twitter: @QuestingQM

You are Stojan, and today is the day you decide what to do with the province of Zgorzelec.

You have recently beat the communists out, and it will be a long while before they come back...

However, since you are the leader of the resistance you need to set up a sort of government so the citizenry won't go anarchist...

Who will reign?

>You will appoint yourself leader of Zgorzelec.
>You will appoint a civilian leader of Zgorzelec.
>You will appoint a military leader of Zgorzelec.
>You will appoint one of your Commanders leader of Zgorzelec.
>Write-In

What should you do to the civilians?

>Round them up, and convert them into lycanthropes. (-Lose lots of Popularity, Gain 800x Lycanthropes)
>Leave them be.
>Your lycanthropes will actively assist in rebuilding and defensive layouts, not to mention training of a militia. (+Popularity, -Lycanthropes will be occupied for the rest of the month.)
>Kidnap a few to feed the pack. (-Popularity)
>Write-In

What do you want the government to lean towards?

>Fascism, Poland must come first above all.
>Monarchism, Poland must find it's king and return him to proper status.
>Anarchism, Poland is free for all!
>Conservative, Poland will remain traditional. There will be no change of government from the last regime.
>Socialist, Poland must assist the downtrodden.
>Communist, Poland must seize the means of production!

You go into the city, most of the citizenry cheer and celebrate, since you actively helped them fight out the communists. Even though you may be strange, they thank you for the assistance. Most of your men go off to get drink, stand guard, or train the civillians for defensive operations. You track down the previous mayor, before the war and appoint him the governor of the province. Most of the citizenry cheers, and no doubt you got them on your side for the time being.

After this, you head back to the campgrounds, where you plan your next operation.

In which province, will you execute your next resistance strike?

>Gorzow, a mostly wooded province with ample hills.
>Walbyrzch, a mostly urban area.
>Poznan, a mostly agricultural land with plenty of forest and hills to boot.

Looks like Raid, attack a convoy, and head into town wins.

Raiding for More Lycanthropes.

So, select who you want to lead this. I have made it a new rule where Stojan can only lead one attack per turn.

>Stojan, has access to on-site transformation.
>Nicolae... May be able to convert the town, but you'll have to convince him first. (Charisma, HARD)
>Ivanka... Some of the people might go "missing", but that's minor.
>Petrov,... He might execute a few lycanthropes, but that's minor, right?

If you do not take Stojan, I will assume you will take prisoners and take them back to Stojan.

Also, take lycanthropes with you?

>Yes
>No

Since this a mostly urban environment, it will be hard to move undetected with a group.
>>
>>309848
>Stojan, has access to on-site transformation.

>>

Now I just remembered that the lycanthropes can't do anything for a month. So you guys can just ignore the "take lycanthropes" option because you can't take them anyways.

Here is a few options you have.

>Raid a Barracks. (Trained Lycanthropes, but not as a many as a civilian target.)
>Raid an apartment (Mass lycanthropes, but untrained.)
>Raid a civil-service building, such as a police station. (Lots of lycanthropes, who are somewhat trained.)
>Raid a village. (A few lycanthropes, military will not really respond in time no matter what, unless you like take a nap or something.)

You decide to raid a barracks. It's rather easy to get there, since you have a human form. Your suit gets minor attention, but you eventually get to the street across from the barracks. A small, chain-link fence with a small watch tower, where you can see a guard is stationed.

How do you plan on getting in?

>Climb up a building, then leap across. You can handle a fall. (Agility, might reduce HP.)

Now, for raiding a convoy.

You are Ivanka. You are a cannibalistic sniper sent to fuck up a train convoy. This, you will do for Comrade Stojan. And maybe eat some people, depending on how it turns out.

Now, you have a few ideas on what you can do.

Success!

Pelevina and Ivanka take out their rifles, and aim downwards at the train tracks. An hour passes, and neither of them have moved an inch.

Then, finally a iron behemoth, a train starts heading down, Pelevina takes the first shot and seemingly misses, until Ivanka follows up with a shot straight through the metal wall of the conductor's cabin, seemingly hitting and killing the conductor. The train begins to slow down to a stop, as confused communist soldiers begin to hop off, or search for why it stopped.

Looks like taking all the rares wins.

You grab as much of the rare weaponry as you can, and grab the prisoners. Pelevina helps carry them, like a good girl.

You are Stojan. Your girlfriend has emerged from a raid as fat, covered in blood, and carrying prisoners. A second time. At least she's carrying prisoners.

She sets them down, to do whatever you want to them. She whispers in your ear.

"Comrade Stojan. I demand cuddle." and storms off to your cabin. She's always nice when fed.

What do with prisoners?

Looks like feast wins.

You order the lycanthropes to tear in. You mutter a few prayers of forgiveness, as the lycanthropes tear them apart. Not even blood is left to mark where the men died.
You go to bed and cuddle with Ivanka, her stomach squeezing up against you. She's quite overweight, but you don't comment out of fear. No woman wants to hear that.

Ivanka gets the Mauser sniper rifle, which comes with a scope. It's more accurate then the PTRD, and can be used from much farther away. It can penetrate minor cover, such as walls with ease, and low-density armored tanks.

You give the revolver to Petrov, and he thanks you for it. He spends his day cleaning his new revolver.

Once that's done, you decide to head into town. The town is still recovering, and you are in your human form... What do you want to do?

You head back to camp and get Ivanka, who's pretty much obsessing over her new rifle.

"Comrade Stojan, did you know that the Mauser 1918 T-Gewher has only had 15,800 of these produced? It is interesting to think how this fell into ou- I mean the USSR's hands. In fact, one benefit of lycanthropy is that you do not need a two-man crew to truly fire this gun, as the rifle, for me at least, is quite short."

"So... Is that a yes?"

"Of course, Comrade Stojan. I will follow you anywhere."

You assume that the static expression of stoicism on her face is happiness.

The two of you head down to the gunstore, and you ask her something.

"What do you think would fit me best?"

"...Hm. Well, a big, strong gun would work out nicely."

"A machine gun?"

"That could work well. You are strong, da?"

"Yes, I can lift quite well. Not to boast."

"Well, why not? Pistol only go so far."

"Anything else?"

"Da. You might benefit from a silenced pistol. I hear the Allies have a unique pistol called the Ramrod. Or something along those lines, comrade Stojan. Prehaps you could ask them over the radio?"

Ivanka goes to the Submachine gun section, and is looking carefully. Your surprised she isn't trying to eat anyone.

You, interestingly enough, find they do in fact, have a machine gun. In the back section however, so the soviets wouldn't catch on. Most of the selection is heavily outdated.

>MG 08, served reliably in world war one, and even though it's old as hell, it's still a machine gun. (Cost: $1400 USD)

You answer the General's call.

The radio crackles to life.
"Ah, Stojan. Good to have you answer. The USA needs a helping hand. We need you to... Take out, a rather important man in the Soviet Union."

"A scientist known as Trofim Lysenko, we need him taken care of. We have heard he is currently in... What is it... Walbryzch?"

"Any further info?"

"He's traveling under heavy guard. Take him out with any means. In exchange we're willing to paradrop supplies."

"Alright, now deal with it Commander Stojan."

How are you going to deal with this scientist?

He said taken out and taken care of.
Converted, he is taken out of enemy hands. And taken care of as a problem.

Whelp, looks like Infect wins.

Ivanka was not detected, and the motorcade is expecting little resistance, but Ivanka does notify you that the regiment was trained by the NVKD. This could rather hard if you fuck up.

The car comes towards you in a rather large celebration, celebrating this man saving the Soviet Union from starvation... How are you going to infect him?

The shot however, ricochets off the ground, and into the car behind it, hitting it straight in the gas tank, and a large explosion terrifies the crowd, and the motorcade is now in complete chaos and confusion. Besides, your like 8'4' in lycanthrope form. That's pretty good, right?
>>
Alright, continuing from last night.

You run alley to alley, avoiding the eyes of civilians and soldiers, while the city goes on high alert. Ivanka narrowly managed to escape, and you meet up not too far from the city's border.

A brief nod is exchanged between you and Ivanka, and the soldier you transformed just kind of looks confused.

"...Just wondering, why exactly did you target the convoy?"

"Huh? Oh, I'll brief you back at camp soldier."

"Alright I guess. So how exactly does this lycanthropy thing work?"

"Beat people up, eat them, then beat more poeple up since you just got stronger from eating people."

"Oh."

He grimaces slightly.

The scientist however, is demanding you let him go, and is muttering plenty of swears at you.

Alright, back.

"Karkmann, your just looking at a blank screen."

"SILENCE!"

A few seconds of him writing ferociously on a piece of paper, which he hands to you, and accidently snaps a pencil in half. The paper seems to be the science report you requested.

"Leave me to my experiments!"

"I got it from the Allies."

He starts showing you how to clean the MG-42, and how to properly aim with it.

"Er. Thank you, I guess."

"Just don't shoot your arm off, komrade."

"Ja, very well... Ooh."

"So Stalin's trying to make something along those lines?"

Looks like Veteran of the Great War wins.

Which group of soldiers do you want to speak to?

>The Germans.
>The Russians.

they aren't as disciplined and therefore probably not as loyal

You head over to the Russian side of the camp. The soldiers are all digging into the vodka rations, evidently singing a song, which you can translate quite a bit of it as the USSR's anthem.

Actions

>Discipline them, you will not have enemy sympathy.
>Leave them be, just wait for it to be done.
>Join in, might want to show their commander is after all, a man of the people.

Discipli

You decide to discipline them.

"Alright, enough of your drinking and singing. You work for me, not the USSR now, got it?"

The men grumble and start putting away alcohol. Petrov comes out of the circle somewhat intoxicated.

"...Whatcha doin' around this part of the camp, comrade?"

"I came to make sure my soldiers were disciplined. And clearly you aren't doing your job."

"Eh? You never gave me a job!"

"Your unofficial job is to make sure the camp is disciplined, a well-oiled machine. Not a bunch of drunken hooligans."

Petrov thinks on this a little.

>Demand that he increase the discipline of the USSR soldiers.
>Demand that he turn the Russian conscripts into actual, trained men.
>...He is failing his job. Perhaps another soldier would suite his position better?

"Turn these conscripts into real fighting men. I don't want to come back to a bunch of homesick louts who refuse to fight."

"As you will, sir."

And that's where I'm going to end it tonight folks, I won't be able to run a quest tomorrow, since I'll be out all day.
