Last time on Nazi Experimental Quest, we told Petrov to train our soldiers better, we beat the shit out of some USSR Soldiers with our dad, who cannot into machine guns, then I lost the USB with all the stuff on it.
So yeah. Let's start off again.

“So Petrov, are you actually going to get these muts into shape?”

“Of course, sir.” He scratches the back of his head, while the men look towards him, slightly entertained (and dismayed) that the Commissar’s higher up is demanding more discipline from… A commissar.

“Good! I expect be-”

“Kommandant!” A German soldier rushes up behind you, waving his hands. His uniform is tattered, no doubt because of his transformation, and you recognize him as the radio operator… The runt of the pack, but a rather good jokester, keeping him in the men’s good graces. You remember him as… Private Hansgeorg.

“One second, commissar. What is it?”

“Sir… We’ve just intercepted a radio transmission from the Bolsheviks… They intend to bomb Zgorzelec and burn it to the ground!”

“My God…”

“...It gets worse sir. After the bombing run, they’ll move in specialized infantry to clear out the town. Any survivors will be executed on the spot.”
Well then.

Actions.

>...Send Ivanka to delay the infantry, while you and your men evacuate the civilians.
>...You’ll focus on the infantry, and leave the civilians alone.
>You’ll just sit here in the forest, no need to get involved.
>...Target the civilians, maybe you can terrify the soldiers by making rather brutal examples out of your resistance operatives.
>...Before this begins, see if you can get Private Hansgeorg to broadcast a transmission to the Soviets… Maybe you can delay the attack... Or fuck up and call it in sooner. (Petrov’s Charisma.)

You send Petrov and the Sturmgrenaider Battalion to intercept the USSR soldiers headed towards Zgorzelec.

You are Petrov, and one of the Spider Knights, who calls himself Sir Cleuimar has spotted the enemy division preparing to surround the city, and have dug minor trenches. The bombing is to begin at any moment.

Actions.

>...Slowly creep up on them from behind, then unleash a surprise attack from behind, using grenades and a sudden rush. (Discipline)

The enemy division is about 70 Soldiers, half of them bear shotguns or flamethrowers. The other half seem to be regular conscripts.

Great Success!

Your men slowly creep up from behind, grenades in hand. Then, explosions from the city easily distract the USSR soldiers, and your men toss their two grenades into the trench line, heavily injuring and killing at least fourteen. Your men jump down into the trench, and CQB begins, the two spider knights however, have taken to grabbing USSR soldiers out of the trench and executing them with their Lugers.
Enemy Soldiers: 53
Your Soldiers: 6

Actions.

You pull back, you don't have the numbers to deal with this, and you don't nearly have enough grenades to even think about collapsing the trench. You order a retreat back to the forest line, and fall back to camp.

Zgorzelec has been bombed, and only a handful of survivors have escaped.
Morale has fallen.
Provincial Stability has been increased to Semi-Stable.

You are Stojan, and your raid was... Well, at least a handful of civilians escaped the bombing and the firing line. Of course, since Zgorzelec was destroyed, you have lost your hidden lycanthropes, and that tailor. You drink a little more vodka then usual this night.

Critical Success!

Currently, you are Nicolae.

You stumble through the forest, trying to find these survivors. You happen across tracks, footprints, no doubt of these survivors, and smell a burning campfire. You close in, and find a small camp of survivors, about twenty civilians, mostly men and children. Before you come out to say hello, you remember your concealed, and a rather large werewolf. That could prove problematic in bringing them back.

Critical Success!

You walk into the camp, and one of the men cheers.

"It's the resistance! They've come to help us!"

Before you can say anything, they salute you.

"...I'm not my son, Stojan. I'm not the commander, you know."

"...You look like him, I guess."

"...I'm wearing a deacon's outfit, and you assume I look like my son?"

He shrugs his shoulders.

"To be honest, all you lycanthropes look alike"

One of the men pipes in.
"...That's kind of racist, you know."

Actions.

>...Fuck that guy, everyone but him can come.
>Alright, what ever. I've come to get you guys to live in our camp so you don't get killed. And I promise you guys won't get eaten by us.

Along the way, you note that the USSR forces converged around the camp site nearly as soon as you left. Luckily, you escaped just in time to arrive back at camp, with the twenty civilians.

Back to Stojan.

You've recently just gotten twenty civilians. Of course, you could just shelter them, or do something else.

There will be more than enough soldiers to eat once we're fighting.
>>
You send out an order that the refugees are not to be harmed, and you also send out an offer to the refugees that they can join the resistance if they so want to. About seven offer their services, the rest wanting to stay with their families or are simply just children.

Petrov advises you that you simply lack the equipment to arm them, and we must secure more weaponry. In addition, the new human resistance soldiers would do best to serve with the Volksgrenadier squad

Which unit will you put them in?

>The Conscript Battalion.
>The Sturmgrenadier Battalion.
>The Vulksgrenadier Battalion.
>Create a new Battalion.

Currently, they are unarmed due to a lack of weaponry.

Anons? Is today just a slow day?

I just have absolutely no opinion.
>>
Looks like Conscript Battalion wins.

You command the seven resistance humans to join the Conscript Battalion. You lack equipment to give them, and so they like most of the conscript battalion, will have to fight without it.

With that done, you take a small tour of the campgrounds. Some weeds have been growing by some of the cabins, and most notably, some of the cabins are starting to look a little damaged from use. The impressive cafeteria, just recently built, is a hub of activity amongst the camp.

Actions.

>Talk to the radio operator, Hansgeorg.
>Speak to some of the Russians, maybe you can find the highest preforming soldier.
>Speak to the Germans, maybe some of them are notable enough to note.
>Hang out with the Russians, get their morale up and that whole thing.

You head down to the Russian side of the camp, which is notably the more... Poor kept side of it. As you approach, you see Petrov sending his men running throughout the camp, trying to train them no doubt. A few of the women you've taken seem to be cheering them on, no doubt a few of the soldiers have taken lovers during this time.

You decide to speak with their, erhm... Romances. You also decide that afterwards you'll join them in laps, no doubt a good way to get morale up.

You walk over to a few stands, right by the open field where you see the training exercises taking place, and you see several women cheering them on, they notice you and turn in response. The biggest among them (Only a foot smaller then you!) turns towards you.

"How can we help, Commander?"

Actions.

>...Have any of the soldiers been complaining?

"Just wondering, have any of you heard about if your... Erh, boyfriends have been haunted by anything in particular?"

One of them reluctantly raises her hand.

"...I guess."

"Judyta, that is because Artyom is soft."

"...So? The commander wanted to know if any of our lovers are haunted. Artyom is."

"Artyom?"

"Well, Artyom is a conscript, and... He's been getting strange dreams. Mostly of the battle's he fought in, like Zgorzelec and the battle of Berlin."

"...That's it?"

"...That's as much as he'll tell me."

Hm.

"Could you point him out for me?"

"Sure. He's the one in the cap, and with an eyepatch."

"Eyepatch?"

"He lost his eye in Berlin."

"So, have any of the soldiers been complaining?"

The leader speaks up.

"...What do you plan to do with that information?"

Actions.

"Ah, any way that could improve?"

"Well, I would guess as they get used to it or if they think of you in a more noble manner they'll respect your command more. Or at the very least, you show them that you won't get them killed for nothing."

"That's good to know, now, have a good day all of you."

Critical Failure.

As you charge towards victory, you feel one of the conscripts holding onto your leg. You attempt to shake him of, but this just causes you to fall over, and the rest of the conscripts get in front.

Petrov shakes his head at you, and congratulates the Conscripts for beating their commander. Most of the conscripts seem somewhat angry, since you just charged them down, but most seem to have forgiven you, since you lost anyways. Towards the sides however, you spot Ivanka, laughing, presumably towards you. Your stomach growls, no doubt because of all this exercise.

You are now Starving. (-2 on all rolls.)

Actions.

He stops laughing, and returns to her usual stoicism.

"Very well, Comrade Stojan, even if you disappointed me at the end."

You sigh.

"Well, I got from dead last to fourth place. That's got to count for something, right?"

"...You almost made it seem like you couldn't walk."

"Damn it, let's just head back to the cabin, I'm too tired to deal with this."

You head back to your cabin with Ivanka, who cuddles up to your large and imposing frame. You do get an idea, however... Although it could just be exhaustion setting in.

She pulls you up, and looks at the bear heads secured around your belt. You look down at hers, which numbers four.

"You are a very good bear hunter, Stojan. I was expecting you to get mauled a little earlier."

You take your rifle and order your men to start digging a trench. You fire about four sniper shots, and effectively supress the conscripts... That's when you hear the charge on your left. It seems Petrov waited for you to climb, then encircled you... You rush over to the other side, and see that Nicolae's men are taking potshots at both sides... Waiting for the two of you to weaken, no doubt.

"Mind if I ask what metals you got in the war?"

"Ja, I received the NSADP Long Service Award, grade two, along with the SS Long Service Award, only grade one, mind you. The Infantry Assault Badge, and the Close Combat Award badge."

"Wow. That's quite a service history."

"Ja. Nothing really other than that though."

"Interesting, nonetheless."

Actions.

>...What exactly are you good at?
>So where do you come from in Germany?
>So, just wondering... Why the hell haven't you been brought to my attention?
>Any family?
>So, what exactly would you consider Lycanthropy to be? A blessing, a curse?

"What exactly are you good at?"

"Close combat, though I'm pretty bad with rifles and other big pieces of equipment. I can use short-range weaponry to great effect, and I have a basic understanding on how to lead a squad."

"Hm. Good, good. Now, just wondering... What would you consider lycanthropy to be? A blessing, or a curse?"

"A curse." Your somewhat surprised, no hesitation at all.

"Why is that?"

"...Permission to speak freely, sir?"

Actions.

>Sure. Permission granted.

"Very well, permission granted."

"First off, cannibalism. Second off, I don't really give a shit about your Polish independence, and I just want to go home, to be honest."

"...Do you have family?"

He shakes his head.

"No, I just want to go to a bar, read a newspaper while drinking kaffee, do something besides fight more. And I don't think you can have that, as a goddamned werewolf that has to eat people, or you die."

"Well then..."

>...Well, you could always try.
>Yeah. Well, what can you do?
>I promise that this is temporary.
>...Permission to speak freely is now denied, sergeant.

"...That's it?"

"Honestly, yes."

"You just want to do that shit? Nothing cool? Nothing awesome?"

"...Listen, I don't want glory, or to fight. I've spent fifteen years fighting, fifteen! How hard is it to believe I just fucking want a coffee in the morning, which doesn't taste like Gott's ass? I want to go to a bar, and not have my higher-up drag my ass from it because I'm not allowed since we're on duty."

"...If that's it, will you fight for me?"

He sighs.

"I have to, don't I? But honestly, I have nothing against you, and you probably saved my ass in Berlin... So thanks, I guess."

Actions.

>Very well, I have other things to do right now, Leopold, but I will see you.
>What's with the whole wanting to go home thing? Besides being in the army for fifteen years.
>...Don't run your tongue like that around me, remember that Sergeant.
