Hello, I've been thinking of making a civ/quest for a while now, and while I have posted a total of about one quest and 3 or so civ's over the years(under different names, and a different trip from now), this was all a long time back and I still feel like a newb regardles. Now I have a few ideas for running a Civ/Quest, but for now I want to focus on the 'earlygame' day to day survival of a group transported from another world, starting with a rather large population as they transfer from life in the height (or depths) of the industrial revolution, to having effectively no tech to work with. All of the races selected/showm feel right to me for this scenario, and I feel like I can in some way relate to (for better storytelling), and all of the locations I have some ideas for in regards to plot and resources, and seem at least survivable. I may or may not use stats or influences from the regular Civ lists, but for now just pick what you like.

I hope we can manage this in EU time, and as usual for a Civ

Alright, Lizardfolk in a Forested world. As I said I'll try to focus on the small things, especially early on. Lizardmen and industrial era is a difficult thing to imagine, but I'll work with it.

You wake up with most of your body feeling sore. You try to remember what happened before you went to sleep, but your memory is hazy. You open your eyelids, both pairs at once as you realise you can breathe air and begin to look around.

You are in a forest, the trees are reasonably thick and have mosses covering their bases, many have leaves that look rather large, the size of your palm or hand, but most still have buds, indicating springtime. Around you lie several of your kind, seemingly equally battered as yourself. Each wearing clothes, but many different outfits. Most wear typical workers clothes, while some wear mechanics clothes, and others the clothes of housewives, seamstresses, or even bakers. You appear to be the first to have woken.

You stand up, feeling reasonably cold and slow as the tops of the trees stop most of the sunlight from warming up your body. You look around once more, now in search of a spot where sunlight reaches to warm yourself up. Not far from you is a spot clearly lit. You decide to walk towards it, your muscles aching as you take your steps, reaching it shortly. As you lie down in the sun to warm up some more you begin to think back.

You are...

>B) A wealthy man, well fed and running one or several buisnesses. You paid your workers what you could miss, and spent the rest on more investments, or yourself (+Well Fed, +A nice suit, -Probably hated by some)
>C) A famer who worked for their family. You were the engine that kept society working, you ate well and knew how to work the fields (+Well fed, +Endurance, +Farm Knowledge, -Ugly, -Homesick for family)

Of course, at first, we have to build a temple pyramid to pay homage to the Gods.

No titles as last name (and I guessed correctly for where you got the name). You come from a world in the height of an Industrial era, so religion is at an all-time-low.

As you lie, you begin counting what you remember. You are Kroxconqua, a wealthy man who owns several buisnesses. As a child your father (who is decendant from nobiliy, as are you) told you many stories about the Temple of Gold, which is the truth of the world. He told you that his belief and sacrifice to the Temple of Gold gave him his wife and riches, and that whatever you were to do, you should trust in the Temple of Gold. Your goal previously had been to collect enough riches to build a temple of gold, and restart the belief.

As about ten minutes pass you see birds fly over, and even some squirrels climb up one of the trees, hiding in the foliage. It seems that this place is rather lush and lively, unlike your fellow Lizardfolk, some of them laying spread out in the sun similarly to you. Once more a few minutes pass, and you begin to feel warm enough to run for half the day. Nearby you, you begin to hear som rustling and groaning, apparently some of your kin have woken.

You also get up, groaning to join in. You seem to be in better shape than most of the others, or at the very least more well-fed. The lizardfolk surrounding you begin to ask questions to eachother, like where they are, how they got here, and some even who they are. Looking around you see that even more of your kin are spread about than you initially thought, their numbers easily surpassing a hundred, and while some have woken, most still lie still. You...

Stand up proud and begin waking others, looking around as you move from your initial location. The nearest still sleeping lizardfolk is only three steps from your location, and looking at how you walked you're surprised that you didn't trip over them on your way here. It appears to be a female lizardfolk wearing farmers clothes. You wake her, helping her up before continuing to the next, and the next after them.

As you help out one after another, some begin to follow your example, helping those who are still sleeping. Others seem to be scoffing at you with your helpful attitude, some even throwing curse words your way, making jokes at your expense. But that's fine, you will remember them.

After waking thirty or more fellow lizardfolk, you look up to take the breath you are running out of, you aren't used to such physical activity after all. Above you see a blueish sun, which is odd, as the sun you are used to looking at was rather yellow, perhaps even orange coloured. But with this change it also seems to shine more brightly than you are used to, helping you warm up faster than before.

All around you seems to be forest. The earth on which you stand covered mostly with moss, and in the more open areas grass and even bushes. You note several tens of different types of plants and trees, although you have no way of telling which is which, or if anything here is even edible. Standing near you are several more lizardfolk, amongst which are most of the people you had woken, and some others who had gone to wake people up. They seem to be looking to you for guidance, not knowing what to say or do. You...

>A) Tell them to collect everyone where you are. Safety in numbers, especially in such an unknown place. And leaving your fellow Lizardfolk to die would be horrible.
>B) Tell them to go look for food and possibly water. Survival is key, and for that you need food and water, and you didn't see any so far, even as you walked.
>C) Tell them that the Temple of Gold brought you and all of the others here, and you have been chosen to lead everyone.

Also: They don't have to fear as the Temple of Gold favours us greatly! Begin to spread the Faith a bit!
>>
As about fourty lizardfolk surround you, you begin speaking "Worry not, for the Temple of Gold favors us, but first we need to find food, and possibly water, pick one or several others and start looking, don't split up, your partner is your safety.". While they initially look up strangely at your exclamation about the Temple of Gold, they soon hear the rest and begin to discuss it amongs themselves and soon form groups of two, three, four and even a group of five to search for food and drink. Less than a minute later they dissapear, having called this specific location as their return spot... if they can find it back.

Remaining are the female lizardfolk wearing farmers clothing, two children of which one male and one female, both wearing cheap clothes, two more female lizardfolk, neither of which you assume to be the mother of the children seeing as the children aren't hiding behind them, and another male, wearing dirty clothes stained by oil and reeking of metal. The last two being fullgrown, but seem barely of age.

The two children seem frightened, and seem to cling together as they don't know where to go. The female wearing farmers clothing is investigating nearby plants. The two other females seem lost in trying to care for the two children but unable to. And the other male seems eager to talk to you, but seems to shy away from your sight.

Who do you approach, and in what order
>A) The two children, they need to be consoled. The younger generation is what follows us after all
>B) The farmer woman, she seems to know something, or at least she seems to think she does.
>C1) The two women, they aren't succeeding at consoling the children, so maybe you can help them with it.
>C2) The two women, they aren't doing anything useful, and you should tell them to look for food or water together.
>D) The other male, he seems good at something, mechanics perhaps. It's not very useful here, but he might just be helpful

D, B, C1. B first because of >>393536

You approach the woman in the farmers clothing, she seems about the same age as yourself, just past halfway your prime at the age of 19. "What are you looking at?" you ask, seeming interested in whatever she is looking at. "I don't know any of these plants" she replies in full seriousness. Before thinking any further you reply "is that strange, I don't know any of the plants here either". She turns her head "I'm a farmer, names Kieri by the way. I make a living off growing plants, and knowing them is part of that. The fact that I don't know any of these plants means that most likely no one else does either, and I'm worried for them" she replies.

You take a moment then introduce yourself, helping her up as you do "Kroxconqua, nice to meet you" you say. She smiles at your friendly gesture "Isn't the Temple of Gold just a silly children's story..." she says. You frown, your teeth gnashing, but let it pass. She continues as if she isn't expecting a reply "I'll look around some more, maybe some of the plants around us are edible, I just don't want people to become sick from the food here. I can probably determine what's edible or not, but I can't be a hundred percent sure, at most just eighty". She smiles again, and you manage a smile before she turns around, happily walking to another tree. "May the Temple of Gold guide your path to prosperity" you call after her before turning towards the other male, leaving this woman to her buisness.

You approach the young male, he seems slightly more at ease after having looked at your conversation with the female. "What do you have for me?" you ask. The male squeeks and jumps as though frightened "I... I... I just wanted to offer my service to you..." he says before continuing "I used to be a mechanic, before... you know... coming here." he takes a breath, and looks left and right before he continues "I don't know how I can be of use here, so I thought I'd come to you, you seem like you're in your place. Like you know how to manage... people?". You almost laugh at the young male, his demeanour almost shy, obviously nearly afraid as the two children several steps away, but you manage to surpress it into a (probably) friendly grin before replying "Of course you can be of use, just follow me and my orders, and the Temple of Gold will be sure to reward you". You smile even more deeply, finally someone who seems willing to follow, even though this male seems petite, it is better than nothing.

>Cont 1/2

Feeling as though there is nothing left to discuss, you turn to the two females who are trying to console the children. You hear the young male following by his steps muffled by the mossy surface. The two females turn to you "Anything wrong, ladies?" you ask. Their faces seem conflicted, as though they don't trust you at all, but seem like they have no other way. "Can you help these children" they ask, almost at the very same time, causing them to at first be spooked, then burst out into nervous but happy laughter. You nod " The Temple of Gold is always happy to help" you say, trying to spread the word just that little bit more. You turn and step to the two children and…

"We don’t like you!" one of them says, as he walks to you, tears still on his face. The others seem surprised "You look like the people that bully daddy!" he continues, before the gets back to crying, now yelling "Daddy! Daddy!". The other soon joins in yelling about both her mother and father. While you at first were startled, you recall how your father once consoled you "There there little boy, don’t cry now. The Temple of Gold doesn’t like crybabies, not unless they have recently been born. Now, are you a newborn, or are you a boy who aims for whatever he can get his hands on?"

The boy cries and sobs as you talk, but after you finish he only sobs a few more times, and then finally stops crying, snot still covering his face. "I’m a boy, not a baby!" he stubbornly says as he begins hugging the little girl, trying to get her to calm down once more.

It couldn’t have been seconds after the boy started hugging the girl, or a group of two returns from their search of food, their hands filled with white roots which they bring to you.

You…

>A) Take the roots and eat them, you are hungry, and that hunger needs to be sated.
>B) Take the roots and give them to the children, they are probably as hungry as you are, and if they don’t eat, they will never grow.
>C) Take the roots to the Kieri, you don’t even know if they are poisonous, it’s too dangerous to let anyone eat them before she checked them.
>D) Write in

C it is

You take the roots and decide to take them to Kieri, you wouldn't want anyone to get sick after all. Kieri turns around and happily takes the responsibility of checking the food for edibility "I'll do my best, but I'll take a while" she says. You have no clue what her methods are and while looking at it you still can't seem to figure out as she smells, bruises and even makes small cuts in the roots which she smells soon after.

Meanwhile some others return, some bringing bugs the size of the webbing between your fingers, some more bringing larvae from underneath rocks, others bring more of these same roots, and some even bring whole uprooted plants, which you give to Kieri to examine after she's done. The bugs however she refuses stating "Im a farmer, not a wilderness expert". You send the ones that return out to explore and collect more food, the sun now reaching past its peak you begin to wonder if there is any water nearby, your scales begin to feel somewhat dry.

Eventually Kieri walks to you, the roots in her hand, and a smile on her face. "Theese roots are edible. They are rather of bitter, but it's better than starving!" the group rejoices at her comment, and those who were still holding on to them take a bite. Now you are left with the bugs and the larvae while Kieri beginst looking at the uprooted plants.

You...

>A) offer them to the children. They have the least experience, and why let them starve.
>B) eat them yourself, you havn't eaten them after all.
>C) throw them away, who would eat maggots or beetles
>D) offer them to... (the two women/the male/Kieri/those who brought them)

Sounds like a good plan. If noone at them yet, give them to some expendable older Lizardmen :).

Thanks for writing this quest! Will be off myself now, hope some other anons participate!
>>
You ask the lizardfolk if any of them have eaten any of them yet. At first none of them reply, but after a short while one somewhat older female shyly steps forward claiming to have eaten some of the bugs before. Aside from some aging traits she seems fine. "Which kind have you eaten?" you ask and she begins describing several of them. Some white larvae, and some green to brown insects which jumped around, but make a funny cracking noise when eaten, finally some blue-purple bugs which also cracked, but could be found under dead wood or stones lieing about. You praise her, saying that she did a good job and she seems confused yet happy.

You divide some of said bugs amongst everyone, and everyone including you hesitantly begins eating the bugs and some of the roots. The taste isn't horrible, but it's not what you're used to. You personally are used to much better food than others, mostly fish and wild animals, supplemented with wheats, oats and fruits. So this change is quite a shock for your tastebuds. Others seem to enjoy the cracking sound, you however begin to hunger for the taste of fish.

After you and your fellow lizardfolk finish eating most of the bugs and roots, you begin looking at the other bugs. Squishing one open you gag, having a difficult time handling the change from your previous diet. The realisation of having eaten bugs also hits you, forcing you to make a reality check, leaving you resting on your knees.

Others seem to be having far less troubles than you, having taken the intiative to start eating more by themselves.
And that's a wrap for tonight. If I wake up early enough I'll post a few times then, but I won't have a lot of time since I have plans later in the afternoon. I -might- play saturday, but I'm not sure about that yet. Have a good night.
>>
Hey, I'm back again. I have some people coming over later, and I'm not sure how long I'll keep posting once they arrive. I'm just trying to keep the game running.

Luckily none of the other bugs were poisonous, as the people surrounding you seem to be happily eating them. Your kind must have some sort of resistance against poisonous bugs, either that or none of them were in the first place. You can't tell, and rather you don't really care at this moment as your stomache is still unable to settle down. Some more lizardfolk have arrived in the meantime, and they seem a bit afraid to continue exploring. Either that or they are lazy, but you don't really care as they simply refuse to go out again claiming that "it's better to stay together, like you said"... Or so they say.

About ten more minutes pass and you are now surrounded by about fifty lizardfolk. You have the nagging feeling that some faces are missing, while some others seem to have changed a bit, but since you didn't pay that much attention to them you can't really tell, and in fact you don't really care that much right now. You take the initiative once more and ask all of them "what have you found out?", they instantly begin talking and it's kind of hard to piece together what they are saying.

Some time passes and you've gotten most of the information in a straight line. Each of the people here has found at least a hundred other lizardfolk, some of which joined them here, while others went their own way or stayed where they were. Even assuming that most of them found the same people, it would still easily overshadow your previous estimate on how many of your kin are in these unknown lands. They also found out that the ground is slightly sloped, and another who watched the sun a lot, and with their knowledge of moss growth on trees (the Temple may know how) they figured out the four directions, and pieced together that the downard slope heads to the Northwest, and the upward slope heads to the Southeast, though mostly east.

You feel that your group has nothing more to do or find here and you decide to

>Pick a direction: N/E/S/W, NW for downslope, ESE for upslope.

>1) Search and collect more lizardfolk, you can't leave the poor people alone after all
>2) Search for water, your throat is dry and as are your scales. And maybe find some food while you are at it.
>3) Search for a lookout spot, you wouldn't want to find yourself lost... Moreso than you are now at least.

I rolled and got uneven, so I'll take the uneven. I'll include bits of both though.

Hearing about the news that so many of your kin have arrived at these unknown lands worries you, and what worries you even more is that they all seem to be going their own way. You tell your group to spread out somewhat and move north, telling them to gather as many of your kin as possible "for the sake of the Temple of Gold", and gather some of the things we know as edible, or look out for drinking water while you are at it. They agree, once more looking oddly at the Temple of Gold bit, but they get the idea and all of you set off.

At first you find several people, a group of seven who after minutes of conversing still seem unwilling to join, you mention that you're headed north, and that if they change their minds soon they can still follow. But they still stand their ground, instead heading southwest, following their "Gut feeling". You stick with your own decision and you and 'your people' manage to convince about fifty lizardfolk over the next hour, only a few of which are recognised by your group, proving that there are once more, more lizardfolk here than you expected.

Another half an hour passes, and twenty more join you on the way, your numbers now counting a hundred and twenty, spread out over a distance of two to three times that in meters. They are all collecting whatever they can find, some more types of bugs are found and eaten, the good results shared amongst eachother. You end up finding a group of lizardfolk who seem to bear hostile intentions."YOU!" the lizardman in factoryworker's clothes says, his face clearly showing anger and his clawed finger pointing at you "You're one of them rich kids aren't you! Your nice clothes give you away in a heartbeat, how about you give them to me, don't ya?". He begins walking towards you menacingly, his six companions following shortly, and they are clearly out to harm you.

You...
>A) Get ready to fight them, raise your clawed hands and get ready to drive your teeth in them.
>B) Yell for help, there are plenty of allies nearby, and they clearly havn't seen most of them.
>C) Put the mechanic in front of you, he said he'd follow you, now let's put him to use.

Ask them to calm down, while slowly walking backwards. You offer them some of the bugs you still have, since they will help them survive more than your clothes, and says that there is no need for harm, especially since you are all in the same situation now.

I'll head to bed now, and if no one else has responded by the time I've woken up I'll just use what's been posted above (or of course if it's been seconded). I hope to have some more participation tomorrow, but I'll just see what happens. For now goodnight
>>
You decide to step back and ask them to calm down, there is no need to fight amongst eachother, especially since you are in an unknown location. "Friends, calm yourselves. There is no need for aggression. Would you like some of the edible bugs we have? They should help you survive far more than the clothes." They scoff, almost looking even more angry than before your comment, apparently they dislike the taste of bugs even more than you yourself do. You continue with your attempt to calm them "We're all in the same situation now, there is no need to harm one another. We are all together in this unknown land, brought together only by our unity in kin". He stops for a moment, then begins laughing "HAH! Unity in kin? Did you tell the same to your workers? You rich people are all the same, you think that a few smooth words can make up for the payment in our pockets. Even now you try to bribe others to get in a better position. You're full of shit, and less than even the bugs you tried to offer us." He says, before once more stepping closer to you, now with his pace increased.

Your allies, or at least those close to you have by now taken some notice of the situation and the frail looking mechanic jumps in front of you as you step back saying "I... I-It's not good to bully others!". The angry lizardman in front of him takes a few more steps foward and looks like he prepares to throw a punch, but instead of throwing the punch he uses the same momentum to smack the frail lizardman with the midpart of his tail. It's a common dirty fighting trick in the slums, but neither you nor the mechanic know this. The mechanic drops to the ground instantly as his own movement to block a punch was easily used against him when he didn't realise that a tail was going to hit his face, rather than a fist.

You...
>A) Call for help, these guys actualy look strong, and the thing he did with his tail shows that he knows how to fight.
>B) Offer them to join you, once you're in charge of things you could use a group of practiced fighters, either as bodyguards or hunters. Maybe soldiers in case more groups start.
>C) Get ready to fight, while these guys are strong, they are obviously malnourished and won't last in a prolonged fight, even fighting seven of them you should be able to hold out.

Slow day, two hours until I get a reply, and easily another two hoping for a second. Ah well. C it is

You decide to fight, these guys seem strong, but they are obviously malnourished, and with fighting you should be easily able to outlast them, as you yourself have the advantage of having had good meals all your life. You raise your hands and turn them into fists, preparing to punch or claw if he gets close and wait for him to do so. He steps in closer and you focus on his upper body, then his feet, and then his upper body again, hoping to gain an indication of what he is planning. You see him step in and prepare to dive under either his fist or his tail and... His tail comes slapping you from below, the place where you had not expected it to come from, your own tail is far from that flexible after all and your own dive to him only made it hit harder, knocking you back several steps. During these steps his allies manage to close in, blocking any side paths you would be able to take to get to his side. You swipe with your tail in an attempt to hit his face, but your lack of experience causes you to forget that you've never actually practiced this, losing most of the strength that a tail swipe could have had and allowing the opposing party to grab you by the tail, a position no one of your kind wants to be in. "Hah!" he laughs as he raises your tail up, revealing your delicate underside and pushing your face down into the apparently not so soft moss and grass growing on the forest floor. Falling forward you realize your footing is lost anyway, and you begin to kick towards his face. The first hits him rather square, causing one of his teeth to be knocked out, revealing blood. But all the following kicks miss, and he even manages to land a kick in your upper leg, near your nether region. His followers then begin joining in the fight, kicking you in the back of the head after you hit their 'leader'. Your face being pressed in the ground, and your mouth being filled with the taste of dirt.

Your own allies now have mostly taken sight of what is going on and are preparing to just come at the lizardfolk assaulting you. The sight of the mechanic and you being taken down so easily discourages them from acting as fast as they could have, but rather waiting for more people to join in so they know they outnumber them. By the time they arrive your face is a bloody mess and you're missing several of your teeth, which is the least of your problems. In fact they cut open your tail in several locations, at the base on the upside, and multiple locations on the sides. They also broke your right arm, and possibly your hand as well though you can't tell for sure. Finally you had been knocked out, and all of your own observations had come from after you had woken up.

>1/2 To be continued
>>
You have no idea how long you have been out, but you assume several hours as the sun is no longer at the top of the sky, but is nearing the sides. You know your teeth will regrow, as they always do with lizardfolk, however all of your other injuries worry you far more. You are afraid that your open wounds will fester, and the broken bones will be unable to be settled properly, and finally you are worried that your hand might never recover, as it is currently so swollen you expect some bones to be shattered. And with no one who you know here who has medical knowledge, you would be crippled for life.

During your self-diagnosis, you suddenly become aware of the sound of running water, as well as the sound of splashing in water. Your group had found water while you were out! Kieri comes up to you when she sees you trying to get up "That was insanely reckless! What possessed you to think that you could win against seven people! Did the Temple of Gold tell you to? I bet it did, cause that’s the only way to explain your lunacy. By the backside of my scales, you’re lucky to be alive." her rant goes on for a while as you are unable to react, partially because you feel she’s right, but also because your jaw and nostrils hurt, and any real movement you make with your mouth and even your tongue hurts more than you’ve ever experienced in your life. "Be happy we found this stream, or else you would probably be left for dead, with all the open wounds you have you could die of dehydration".

So apparently your group found a stream and is now surviving rather decently, which makes you happier, at least considering the rest of the situation. And the fact that you could clean your wounds helped too. Feeling a little bit helpless, but in a good mood you ask about

>A) If they thought about housing and bedding yet. Safety from the elements is rather important.
>B) If they thought about making or preparing fire yet. Cold is something that has taken the lives of innumerable lizardfolk throughout history.
>C) If they thought about a way to store food yet. It’s obvious that you will be collecting food for a rather long time to survive, but storing it is equally important.
>D) Write In

Really, I wonder why you decided that fighting one against seven was a good idea, especially after the display before, even if the mechanic looked frail. And to be fair, you're in luck that you were headed north, the stream had been there all along.

"Have you thought about making fire yet? Cold is something that has taken the lives of many lizardfolk in history after all." you say. Kieri looks stumped for more than a few seconds then her face changes as though in deep thought "You are absolutely right, it completely slipped my mind" she says, apparently aware that her oversight could have easily cost the lives of several of your kin overnight.
She helps you sit upright, making most of your wounds feel like knives are stabbing into your body. "I’ll tell the others, you just stay here and rest" she says as she drags you to rest against a tree only a step or so away, before running off and yelling and pointing fingers at several other lizardfolk.

You look around and the first thing you see is the mechanic still who still lies unconscious next to where you were seconds ago. His head and neck supported by stacks of moss laid out so his both his head and neck were resting best. Apparently he was in worse condition than you were, as shown by the fact that he was still out even though you were already awake. After observing him for a while you get distracted by the sound of running water and splashing again. Taking your time you turn your head, and in the distance you can see what can be called a small river, or perhaps a very large stream. With several lizardfolk standing in it spread out, some diving into the water sometimes, while others had sticks which they slapped into the water, causing rather big splashes to appear. You can’t really tell if they are using some sort of primitive fishing technique, or that they are simply having fun.

In that same direction you can see Kieri directing several lizardfolk. Three are running off while another returns with what looks like dried leaves, while two more are fidgeting about on the ground. Soon however your head feels like it’s being stabbed and you black out. Only to be awakened by the sound of cheering. You open your eyes again and apparently a fire was lit and Kieri is scratching the necks of the lizardfolk on the ground in praise. People gather around the fire and it soon grows to be visible from where you are seated. Kieri soon comes towards you, her expression changing from happiness to worry as she comes closer "Is there anything you need? Anything you want done?"

You open your mouth to reply with
>A) Yes, you could use some water and perhaps some food too. You don’t think you’ve drank anything since arriving.
>B) Yes, some comfort would be nice. The pain is horrible and maybe talking or some physical contact could help relieve it.
>C) Yes, someone to look after the mechanic. He covered for you and took a pretty heavy hit, he should be cared for.
>D) No, you are fine and just want to sleep.
>E) Write in.

Basically a combination of both listed below. But requesting is kind, instead of pretending you are better than the others.
>A) Yes, you could use some water and perhaps some food too. You don’t think you’ve drank anything since arriving.
>C) Yes, someone to look after the mechanic. He covered for you and took a pretty heavy hit, he should be cared for.

I think we could win.

Almost two days later and I’m finally in a mood to continue. Having few posters is a bit of a downer, and I just need to accept that I’ll just need to push on if I want my story to take foot, and maybe later more people can decide to join in.
>E) Basicly A and C

"Yes" you reply, your throat sore and your muscles aching "some water, and maybe some food… for the mechanic and maybe myself". She looks at you for a moment then nods, her eyes snapping from you to the mechanic and back a few times "I’ll be back in a bit" she says as she begins to make her way back to your fellow lizardfolk. As you watch her leave your neck suddenly hurts more than before, forcing you to look forward rather than see what she does.

Several minutes pass and though you can’t see outside your field of vision, you can hear that things are happening. Another few minutes pass and you hear steps closing in. Suddenly two people enter your vision, the two females from earlier. Both hold their hands to be cups, the webbing between their fingers helping them carry more. The eldest of the two makes her way to the mechanic while the younger kneels in front of you and blocks most of your vision. "Tell me if you’ve had enough" she says before she begins to let you drink from her hands. The attempt makes you cough and spit out the water, but the second and third succeed, allowing you to drink your fill. They get up to leave, but before they do they say their names, Saraza for the youngest and Kroga for the eldest of the two.

They return later to feed you, and apparently succeed in feeding the unconscious mechanic as well. They also bring a burning stick near to where you are, and light it to a comfortingly warm campfire not too far away from you, and with this fire you fall asleep, this time not because of your injuries, but rather your immense tiredness.

You wake up early in the next day feeling rather cold, and your body seems to scream out in aching, all of the accumulated damage from previously now attempting to heal, you…

>A) Scream out, the only way to get it out of your system
>B) Keep quiet, why scream like a child if you can man through
>C) Try to get up, the best way to see if you’re better is by trying
>D) Write in.

>D) Write in.

You look around you to see if anyone is awake. You don't feel the urge to wake up someone, but you are in need of warmth and some water.
